This was the best restaurant that we’ve visited in Middleburg. All of the food is very flavorful and well seasoned. The experience given by Sara and James is unmatched! They were extremely attentive and very sweet. My family will be coming back in the summer.

Wonderful intimate atmosphere with delicious dishes.

This place is a gem! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, making it a perfect spot for a memorable dining experience. The food is incredible, with flavors that truly stand out. The drunken noodles are an absolute must-try—bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. To top it off, the drinks are even better than the food, expertly crafted and simply amazing. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in a stunning setting!

Diner Review №5

So good! Our waitress was lovely and the food was amazing! They have a beautiful patio and plenty of indoor seating with lots of natural light.

Diner Review №6

This place is outstanding! The food is delicious and arrives quickly. Best panang curry I’ve ever had. The menu has something for everyone, even my picky 3 year old loved it . My new go-to restaurant in Middleburg!

Wonderful food and great service

Diner Review №11

Been here twice so far, food is always great. Definitely recommend the fried rice and spring rolls! I was able to get a nice outdoor table for my girls lunch (we were about 15). Romantic atmosphere at night with outdoor lights. It’s in a great spot to walk around explore middleburg after your meal.

Diner Review №12

I have had the Drunken Noodles, the Pad See Ew and the Ginger Chicken. I have never had such expertly cooked Thai food. Chicken breast that melts in your mouth, flavorful and tender beef, vegetables that pop with bright greens, reds and oranges. Amazing what happens when a restaurant cooks favorites with fresh ingredients and doesn’t cook them to death. Great place.

Diner Review №13

The service was poor, very slow. It took an hour to receive our meal. The portions were small, the flavor was subpar and the bill was expensive. We will not be going back to this resturant.

Diner Review №14

Amazing. Just amazing. Was in middleburg and wanted a bite to eat and saw everything in the area was about a million bucks. I screamed in terror. Then I saw thaiverse and screamed for joy. It was delicious AND didn't break the bank. 5/5.

We went with family, and We had veg fried rice with tofu N veg for my wife as she is a vegitarian. The food was worst no taste, no spice and not even hot /warm. Were very disappointed with the ambience outside of the deck. There r flies N very hot outside.
The Kra Paw rice with chicken and basil chicken fried rice was ok. My daughter's Pad Thai was not good at all. Overall the food taste was not good. Were ver dissatisfied with food. Appetizers shrimp crunch N spring rolls are ok. Over priced as well. They charge 3 N 2 $ on every dish we choose.

Diner Review №17

Had lunch with a few friends today. We wanted some, very custom lized dishes and the chef made the extra effort of coming over, understanding our needs and ensuring that our food tasted exactly right. How many restaurants do THAT? Amazing. All of us loved the food. The service was excellent and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Diner Review №18

Run by a very friendly couple, Thaiverse serves authentic Thai food in the beautiful town of Middleburg.

The food is great and will be appreciated by anyone who has been to Thailand and enjoys the cuisine. Amazing flavours, large potions and lots of outdoor seating in the large property. Plenty of car parking close by too.

Diner Review №19

My wife and I are a big Thai food couple and we probably ate at almost every Thai Restaurants in the Northern VA area and unfortunately Thaiverse had to be our least favorite. The only reason why I am not giving a one star rating is because the owners seemed to be nice but the service was not good at all. I had to ask for plates, utensils and napkins while it was just my wife and I sitting at the bar and no one else was at the restaurant at the time. The staff were standing around chatting but weren't really attentive to what basics things we needed. I don't think I should ask for every single thing when that should have already been provided. Having said that, the food was just okay and for the price, the portion should be bigger and should taste better. $16 for a entree (Kra Praw) and a additional $4 for protein, chicken in this case. Really??? Is this a Middleburg thing? Same for the Pad Thai my wife ordered. $20 for Pad Thai, smh. Lastly, this Thai Restaurant was the first Thai Restaurant that charged $2 for spice rack or tray, whatever they call it. I thought spice tray or rack is standard option at all Thai Restaurants. It's like charging $2 for Kimchi at Korean Restaurants lol. Anyways, we were so excited to check out this place and unfortunately we left thinking what the heck, how is this place in business. Will probably will go back. I think Best Thai across the street is better.

Always a pleasure to eat here. The service is great. Food has been not as good as it used to be but this is still the best Thai restaurant in this area.

Diner Review №22

Diner Review №23

Fabulous restaurant and wonderful service. Quaint restaurant with amazing food, from appetizers to meals: loved the chicken Kra Praw, chicken satay, crispy shrimp, steak Pad Char. Total yummy

Diner Review №24

Very nice service. The Pinot Grigio was good, the duck pancake roll as well. But the larb gai salad was dry and mealy. Terrible mouthfeel. Steer clear.

Diner Review №25

Diner Review №26

Absolutely love this restaurant. The Mandarin chicken and all the curries are delicious, but, do not recommend ordering the Thaiverse stir fried rice. It’s terrible. We ordered it for takeout and it was expensive and was not good. We had two pieces of pineapple in each order and the shrimp were actually still cold in the middle from being frozen. The flavor was bland, and the dish was mildly warm. These two orders cost me almost $50 For fried rice with shrimp.
But for an excellent dine, in experience, I recommend the mandarin chicken and any of the curry.

Diner Review №27

We keep coming back. I love the Panang Curry. It’s consistently delicious.

Diner Review №28

Diner Review №29

Ginger delight very bland very small hardly any veggies and the chicken was rubbery.
Teriyaki salmon extremely dry and like shoe leather and very small
$50 outrageous! Go next door to best Thai

Diner Review №30

Intimate surroundings, welcoming staff and great varieties of Thai entrées.

Diner Review №31

Delicious food and good vibes!!!

Diner Review №32

Great Tom Yum chicken soup but don’t get it to-go. They put the soup in a cardboard-like bowl that gets soggy within an hour. You will not be able to place it in a microwave. I had to put my soup in a large soup cup. However, it tastes great

Diner Review №33

Total of 17 of us went. Service was decent. The food was okay. Soup was not hot. Have definitely had better Thai food.

Diner Review №34

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

Good food, very fair prices, friendly service.

Diner Review №37

Fine is how I would describe Thaiverse in Middleburg. If you find mayonnaise spicy, then their “Thai Spicy” will knock your socks off. The portions are quite small for a Thai place and for the price; I would say 2/3 the portion of a normal Thai restaurant. Other reviews have said as much about the portion sizes, so I was somewhat expecting that, but hoping they were wrong. The Thai food itself was flavorful enough and pretty good, but it just wasn’t anything amazing or that stood out. If you are really, really craving Thai and here, then it’s an option, but maybe try the something elsewhere, if possible. Otherwise, it’s exactly fine and serviceable.

Was staying at the Salamander Resort when we decided to check out other dining options in town. What a pleasant surprise ! The food was so delicious that we dined there all weekend for dinner instead of eating at the resort. Was absolutely amazing AUTHENTIC THAI food! 💯

Diner Review №40

Diner Review №41

My friend and I had dinner here recently, and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We also had tea, which was very good, while we were waiting for our meal.

We were early for our reservation, and I will say that a reservation probably helps or is a must on weekend nights. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and I will definitely be returning for takeout and to try other items on the menu. 😄

Diner Review №42

I always love Thai verse. Great setting, amazing food, and kind professional staff. I go here often with friends.

update: we were here on a gorgeous fall evening and my kids joined us. While my kids are well-behaved, everyone at Thaiverse was just so kind to them. they had the mango sticky rice...its my daughter's favorite!!!

Diner Review №45

Menu selection was great. Service was wonderful. Food stole the show! Fantastic!!

Diner Review №46

Host seemed somewhat unorganized but seated us in a timely fashion though we did have reservations. We were served water a few minutes after being seated and got our order in. Food came out in a reasonable time and hot but we were disappointed in the lack of flavor. No one ever asked us if we would like more to drink or how the food was or if they could get us anything else. No one even stopped at our table after the food was brought out and I had to flag down the waitress to get me check and she still never said anything even with our glasses empty on the table. Service sucked and the food was mediocre and bland with very little spice! We won’t be eating here again.

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

Diner Review №49

The food was delicious as always, but in the last 6 months, the portions have halved for higher prices.

Diner Review №50

Their marketing and branding is better than the experience of going to this restaurant. Two of the three servers were nice and accommodating. They credited our bill for a mistake in the wrong way and that irritated me, plus they didn’t understand when I tried to explain and then it wasn’t worth my time to change it further. The food was good/fine but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere is so run down and sticky. There were flies around and the menus were dirty. They serve some food in baskets which also seemed unhygienic. Also, the pricing was was really inflated.

Diner Review №51

Delicious food and lovely atmosphere

Diner Review №52

We had a lovely time at Thaiverse. The service was great and the food was fun with a lot of different options. We tried several appetizers and a few entrees and we will definitely be back. They do not have a kids menu, so that is a detractor for families. My kids did love the food though.

Diner Review №53

Jamie is an awesome server. The summer rolls are a great appetizer, everything is good for a main course and the rice mango is an amazing dessert.

Diner Review №54

In our visit to Middleburg, VA on May 30, 2023 and Thaiverse restaurant
We asked to be seated inside due to the sun and warm weather. The gentleman said we can’t seat you inside with a dog. I have explained to him that my dog is a medical service dog and his answer was “ we do not recognized service dogs”. We left a restaurant and was able to go to another restaurant one block away. This experience was extremely hurtful for someone with invisible disabilities and PTSD history. My dog is a trained, registered 7 pounds chihuahua and very well behaved and my only help during a sever panic attack and PTSD.
Service dogs are dogs trained to perform tasks for someone with a disability. They are highly behaved, quiet, and can act in the blink of an eye to save their handler’s life.
under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), it is illegal to discriminate against someone with a disability who needs their service dog by refusing entrance to a legitimate service dog team.
When Can a Restaurant Kick Out a Service Dog?
Even though it is illegal to deny access to a service dog without reason entirely, you still have rights as a business. First, the restaurant should ask every service dog team the two legally acceptable questions outlined by the ADA:
1. Is this dog a service dog that is task-trained to aid in your disability?
2. What tasks does this dog perform?

Any business that operates as a public service, such as hotels, restaurants, movie theaters, stores, malls, and parks, must allow entry to service dogs and their handlers. It may seem unfair at times, but it’s actually more just.
If a person who can’t walk isn’t allowed to have their wheelchair, they won’t be able to enter your restaurant and eat like someone without a wheelchair could do. If someone who needs oxygen was not given their oxygen tank while they ate.
It’s the same with a service dog. Service dogs should be thought of as medical equipment. Many tasks that they perform can save lives, and a disabled person should not have to worry about being without their medical equipment for a family meal.

Service Dogs Require Identification: Wrong
Service dogs do not have to carry identification. Some service dog teams will have an identification card from the program that provided the dog. However, since not every service dog comes from a program, this is not federally mandated in any way.
Service Dogs Should Be a Certain Breed: Wrong
Service dogs can be of any breed, size, color, or weight. You may see tiny chihuahuas that provide diabetic alert tasks. You may also see huge Great Dane service dogs that provide mobility tasks.
Service Dogs Need to Wear a Vest or Identification: Wrong
Although most teams wear a service dog vest, you cannot kick a dog out of your restaurant for simply not wearing identification. Some dogs work best when having a free range of movement. Some handlers also prefer not to spend money on costly equipment.
To all handlers with medical service dog be aware of this restaurant discrimination.

April 22, 2023: this place is over rated.. my wonton soup was tasteless. The main dish ginger very salty with too much soy sauce base instead a ginger sauce. Very fair portion size. Our bad experience was for the hidden charges in each dish. We paid $60 for 2 person (only entrees) $$$. I do not recommend them at all.

Diner Review №57

Outstanding first experience! We decided to stop by for a late lunch after great reviews from some locals at another nearby shop, and I'm so glad we listened! Food was very fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. We started with the Duck Pancake Rolls, and all I can say is wow! A very unique dish made with juicy and flavorful duck wrapped in fresh rice pancakes. SO good! The Pad Thai and Green Curry followed, which tend to be my Thai go-tos, and the certainly exceeded my expectations. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and ambiance is very laid back. Can't wait to go back, hopefully with warmer weather to enjoy their beautiful outdoor area.

Diner Review №65

I have loved the place, but the prices have gone into the stratosphere. Lunch for two, no liquor/wine, and the bill topped $100 each time. It should be at least 1/3 lower. I've been a loyal customer, but I'm moving on....

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

Good food and a nice restaurant, with a great outdoor space. Had the Ka prow and really enjoyed it, could of been a bit spicer. Only complaint, I feel it’s a bit pricey. The entree prices shown don’t include the cost of a protein, there’s a line showing it’s an extra cost. Felt that’s misleading.

Diner Review №68

I will start by saying that the place is a little over rated. Both quality and quantity of food servings does not live up to its pricing.
We went for lunch around noon and ordered Crab Rangoon, Ginger Shrimp, Pad Thai with Shrimp and ended with the Sticky Toffee Pudding. (Menu claims it to be their famous sticky toffee pudding)

The ambience was true to Middleburg for sure so that gets a plus. The food on the other hand was nothing extraordinary. There are much better tasting Thai restaurants all over northern VA.
Two main disappointments on food were;
1. The sticky toffee pudding was not even close to how its supposed to be
2. I asked for the traditional Thai chili condiment and what i got was blend of ketchup and hot sauce.

Diner Review №69

Thaiverse is one of the absolute BEST places to go in Middleburg, the food, the service, the drinks are all the absolute best! If you’re looking for a place to go when in Middleburg this is where you should definitely go! Their lychee martinis are phenomenal!

Diner Review №70

HIDDEN THAI GEM

Firstly, We came across the owner Piya. She welcomed us with a great smile and assured us of a great experience.

The restaurant does give you a very intimate experience of a countryside restaurant.

The service was a little slow; maybe that's because we sat on the patio. But, the Owner, Manager, and Staff were great in suggestions. The food was great, except for one or two items. And also served a free complimentary birthday dessert.

Diner Review №71

They charge 16$ for a dish. And then added 4$ for chicken. 6$ for beef. The waitress never mentioned anything. And it is not on the menu. In addition, the food potion is very small. I will not go back to this place again.

Diner Review №72

Take-out order messed up. Not much flavor. Hot & Sour soup was incorrectly prepared with coconut milk (which I requested not be added)…disappointing.

Diner Review №73

One of my favorites!

Diner Review №74

The atmosohere is good. Cozy but not cramped. We had the peking duck appetizer (5*), the tom gha soup (5*), eggplant entrée (4) and the kimchee dumplings (3*). The kimchee dumplings were like deep fried spring rolls. No kimchee that I could see or taste. But we go back for the duck time and again.

Diner Review №75

Some of the most prompt service in the area. Treat their regulars very well. Awesome food!

Diner Review №76

Food was decent. Flavors felt like a fusion of Thai and Chinese cuisine.
Service was good. Indoor dining was home like setup. Outdoor seating was good too.

Diner Review №77

Great local diner, Thai food. Welcoming and helpful staff. Delicious food and our requests for adjusting the dishes for preference of spiciness and ingredients were perfectly executed.

Diner Review №78

Look, I live within walking distance. I WANT to like this place but with the six meals I have had 2 we’re good, 4 we’re overpriced, overcooked, over heated frozen food. Not good enough. Won’t be back and ironically they have a for sale sign outside soooooo I must not be the only one not interested in seasoned iceberg lettuce, and over fried Rangoon for $10 or whatever bucks!!
Correction, that was the five rubbery calamari’s with seasoned iceberg lettuce, not the Rangoon. My bad.

Diner Review №79

Came for the food stayed for the service. We sat outside in the patio and received our food quickly. If there’s anything you must try it’s their coconut ice cream!! Melts in your mouth and crunchy coco bites. Will come again! Thank you Eddie!

Diner Review №80

This place is the best. Their crab wontons are the best i have ever had. Their chicken is also super high quality and is always cooked perfect. I strongly recommend trying this place especialy if you love thai food. If i could id rate this 10/5

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №82

It was mediocre for Thai food. My Massaman Curry wasn't spicy, even though I specifically asked for it to be extra spicy. The potatoes and rice for my dish were undercooked. My spouse's Pad Thai was about equivalent to Noodles and Co. The wine was sour and there was a hair in my water.

The restaurant was really crowded and when we walked in without a reservation the host(?) reprimanded us for not having one.

Nothing about this experience explains why the food is so expensive. Also, the door bell sounds like a Dollar General or Family Dollar? So that's weird.

2 stars because at least the order was mostly correct and we were seated quickly, without a reservation on a Friday evening.

Diner Review №83

Diner Review №84

Excellent food, portion a bit small for the price

Diner Review №85

Food was good, different flavor than I'm used to though. Seemed very understaffed, understandable given COVID, but even when they got slow, service was really slow.

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

Wonderful food and service!

Diner Review №88

Wonderful meal & service! We ate on the patio w/ heaters both times. We had vegetable pad Thai ("no tofu, lots of veggies") and my husband had drunken noodles w/shrimp. Also a pleasant white wine & we split an excellent, rich chocolate torte.

Diner Review №89

Great food with reasonable prices!! Will make this a regular visit when I have a taste for Thai for sure.

Diner Review №90

Delightful unpretentious hidden gem in Middleburg. Homemade Thai recipes with incredible flavors that don't overwhelm with spice. Do not miss the sticky toffee pudding!

Diner Review №91

Beautiful patio. Big menu. Chocolate mousse cake was a great finish!

Diner Review №92

Food was good but portion sizes are small. They charge you an additional $3 for a spice tray and you have to add $3 of protein to every entree (it is mandatory)

Diner Review №93

Good stuff.

Diner Review №94

Good food and pleasant place

Diner Review №95

As usual, it was a wonderful experience. Great food, great service and wonderful ambience.

Diner Review №96

We came for a Friday luncheon. Oddly enough they have another Thai right across the street. The service was lackluster, very inattentive, needed several refills that never got attended to, just wasn’t the kind of service we were expecting or lack thereof. We would have gotten dessert but our server wasn’t around to much so never got to ask.
The food was ok but was heavily sauced up which lacked flavor. We’ll try again at a later date maybe things will have improved 4/10*

After having a meal catered from this place, decided to go check it out. My wife and I went for lunch and were completely blown away by the hospitality, food and the drinks. One of the best Thai food I have ever eaten and the drinks were delicious. We also had the opportunity to talk to the Chef and owner Ms Pia. She was very pleasant and welcoming. Go visit and you will not regret it !! I give this place 6 out of 5 stars :)

Diner Review №107

Diner Review №108

We wanted to check out this place after reading great Google reviews and turned out to be a big disappointment. We went in around 5pm and they had only 2 tables with customers pretty slow before the peak hours. The service was delayed tho, we waited for a while to order drinks and entrees and so on. And the food was mediocre to say the least. I'd always thought you could never go wrong with Thai, this place proved me wrong. It was salty and tasteless. Portion was surprisingly small, never been served rice in a sauce bowl, really how cheap are you? Overall, just overpriced mediocre food.

Diner Review №109

Worst Thai food and service I have ever experienced!

Diner Review №110

Very tasty and a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

Diner Review №111

I was hoping for better when we started with a tasty thai iced tea. Husband 1.0 immigrated from Thailand, and he broght his mom with him, so I spent the 80s and 90s eating a LOT of Thai food. I am wondering if the flavors have been "dumbed down" for the locals.

We got the Tom Kha Gai and it barely had any galangal or lemongrass flavor. The duck in the Malaysian pancakes was gamey, and the pancake had taken on a lot of (old) oil flavor. The sauce was good.

We were not able to select the temperature for the beef in husband 2.0's entree, the Nam Tok salad. It came to him dry and overcooked, instead of the preferred medium rare but the sauce was palatable, so my husband gave his chewing muscles a workout and powered through it.

I chose the Massamun Curry as Yellow curry was not on the menu. It was not like any Massamun I've had before. I had 6 bites and I was done. I am not sure what seasoning they used, it wasnt quite anise, but it was anise-like. I like anise in Pho and black licorice and ouzo, but it did not work for the curry.

We didn't complain, because frankly I didn't have hope of any better option. We paid our bill and declined the leftovers.

It isn't the Blue Elephant ,but for those looking for great food and service - that is quick; this is the place for it. The Thai food has been Americanized but still flavorful. THE SUMMER ROLLS - were awesome and perfectly prepared.

Diner Review №116

I ordered the drunken noodles and it was so spicy I could only eat 5 bites.. I waited over 30 minutes and was told someone had to go and walk to get my order and it was just a bleh experience. If you go here call your order in.

Diner Review №117

We love Thaiverse! We have frequented both locations and love the ambiance of the Middleburg restaurant. As always, the food is fresh and delicious and we enjoyed the new Chicken Tikka menu item. Owners Piya and James are the sweetest people and the service is always very attentative. We have lived in Thailand for years and this is some of the best Thai food we have had!!!! We will be back again and again!

Diner Review №118

Always delicious and friendly! Their patio is an amazing little jewel in Middleburg!

Diner Review №119

Diner Review №120

Absolutely fabulous dinner! We loved everything we ate... he had Penang Curry with Tofu and I had Green Curry with Chicken. [This might have been one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I never expected this level of excellence in Middleburg.] For dessert, we shared Sticky Toffee Pudding with Coconut Ice Cream; not a Thai dish, but a nod to one of the owners’ Scottish Heritage. The other owner (they are a married couple) is responsible for the excellence of the Thai dishes. What a knockout dinner. It’s about an hour from where we live and absolutely worth the trip. Great find!

Diner Review №121

Sat there at 4:20pm. Only saw one other table. Saw the server once for water and quickly ordered an app. Didn’t see any other staff for another 20 minutes and that’s because a neighboring table flagged them down and told them we hadn’t been seen. We just paid and walked to the Thai place across the road. We sat down and within 5 minutes have our order in.

Well done place across the road. Do better Thaiverse.

Diner Review №125

I dined there one night for dinner while staying at the Salamander resort. It is hands down the best Thai food I have ever had. Although our reservation was made for 30 minutes prior to closing, the waitress was gracious and inviting. She didn’t rush us at all and the food was served hot & fresh. I can’t wait for my next visit to Middleburg... this will be my first stop. Shrimp roll, wonton soup and panang curry were perfection.

Diner Review №126

Wow! Can I just say that in the many, many Thai restaurants that I've visited over the years, this is the BEST! Enough said! Wow!!!

Diner Review №141

Very friendly and courteous servers. Make sure you ask for panang, u won't regret it.

Diner Review №142

The food was fantastic. We had the summer rolls, drunken noodles, and curry, but the portions were smaller than one would expect from a Thai restaurant. I’d give a better rating if it wasn’t for the woman at the front counter being rude to customers and guests and they walked in. It ruined our experience.

Diner Review №143

Rocks the Thai Green Curry ... amazing!

It was an awesome that place at a beautiful little town. The food was fresh, clean and tasty Thai! We got the chili lime cod, summer rolls and som tum (green papaya salad). They were all great. The spicy level goes from 1 to 5. 4 was perfect for us chili lovers. They have outdoor seating and space was plenty around 2pm on Sunday.

We recently discovered Thaiverse and have since been 3 times in a month. The food is fresh, homemade and so delicious. We have tried a number of menu items now, all of which have been amazing! Decided to go at the last minute and they were booked up so we sat at the bar. Nice cozy bar area and they had some live music! The wonton soup was the best I have had in a very long time. We had some spring rolls and shrimp for an appetizer and they were great too. I got the panang curry with beef, extra spicy, and we were both flipping out over how good it was. I literally ate the remainder of the curry sauce with a spoon. Could have been a bit spicier though. If you get the toffee sponge cake dessert, get the toasted coconut ice cream instead of vanilla. We will be back very soon. Maybe tomorrow!

My party of five went here after King Street Oyster Bar bungled our seating wait, giving a six person table to a party of two who’d just arrived and expecting us to wait another thirty minutes (in addition to the thirty minutes we’d already waited). The King Street Oyster Bar manager was rude about it and there’s too many food options, even in Middleburg, to bother with that.
We left the loud scene there and walked into the lovely atmosphere of this place, where we could actually carry on a conversation with our friends. The server was fantastic throughout our visit. We tried several appetizers and four different dishes. It exceeded Thai dishes I’ve tried in the Fairfax/Chantilly area. Our friends had not had much Thai food before so I was grateful this was such a good experience. We all appreciated the descriptions in the menu, which are detailed and sometimes include info about the dish’s specific region of origin. We ended up staying longer than we would have elsewhere, enjoying great food, conversation, and the welcoming atmosphere. This will be my new go-to for Middleburg and meeting friends. I’ve been craving their food ever since!

As a vegetarian, it's always a challenge to find a place that does it well. Thaiverse was above and beyond all expectations. We will definitely be back!

Very good food. Most dishes come vegetarian and you can add on your protein.

This was cute. Good food, not the best but absolutely well deserving of 4 stars. We came after a spa treatment so we were relaxed. I throughly enjoyed the Duck Pancake and the chopped Thai Basil Chicken which is my go to. My friends had the Garlic Beef and Thai Basil Pork. I would come back.

This time unfortunately I can not see past my anger causing me to reduce my original 5 star rating down to 3. This is my second time dining at Thaiverse. I brought another couple to a restaurant I felt was a good recommendation. The meal was quite good, service was excellent. All around, an enjoyable experience. The place is usually busy as it is small. We had just paid the check and were finishing a discussion, preparing to leave, when an Asian woman in process of seating another group of four, demanded we leave because she needed the table for customers. It was loud, rude, and obnoxious. I was totally embarrassed as the entire side of the restaurant stopped and looked at us. This was totally uncalled for - we were not lingering. We tipped the waitress very well, and had a pleasant time.

This individual (possibly a manager) was very much off base. We will not be frequenting this restaurant with that kind of attitude. There are many fine places to go in this area that will treat repeat customers with respect.

Enough said!

Love this restaurant...we own 50w winery and send customers here. James from the UK and his lovely Thai wife piyu provide wonderful authentic meals with their great chef and owner attention on this lovely old house modernized for a great vibe...we dined on small rooms with modern art and the charm of Middleburg. We have been to Thailand and this is like traveling all those miles..Curry fans favowill Our love they make their own curry paste. Highlights are the larb gai. Prepared with fresh mint and beautifully plated with romaine and sliced cucumbers. The drunken noodles with beef, pad Thai, cashew chicken are great. You can order vegetables or eggplant and more and add your own protein.highly recommend.

Food was ok; nothing special. Service not so good, staff is not very attentive. Prices are too high. Restaurant across the street is much better in every aspect.

Great Thai food. Staff is friendly.

Diner Review №196

Great food. Try the new dim sum

Diner Review №197

Excellent. Only 4 stars due to the nature of the food. It is high end Thai featuring more textural and less complexity in their dishes than I expect in REALLY good Thai cuisine. I will travel out of my way to return again.
