For two decades, our family-owned and operated Thai restaurant has been delighting taste buds in Fairfax, VA. Come experience the authentic flavors that have been captivating our patrons since 2004.
Incredible food! So good that we kept forgetting to take pictures before we started eating. Got Thai iced tea, spring rolls, pad Thai and mango sticky rice, and they were all amazing! Friendly, quick service, and yummy food. Portions were also HUGE! My boyfriend and I split the pad Thai, and could barely finish it.
Hidden gem! My son and I strolled upon this location and it was his first time having Thai. The vibes and energy inside to the freshly made to order food π«Άπ½ the staff is so friendly and courteous. We started with chicken Satay it was coconut grilled chicken with peanut sauce. Then the red curry chicken and pad Thai. To finish we had the mango sticky rice and it was so delicious! The portions were perfect. You can tell the food was made with love and passion. This is now on rotation for my son and I.
Well this 'Pad Thai Restaurant' is the simplest restaurant I've been to. It's a strip mall ambiance with plain walls, or no decor at all. Pretty small and long with fewer settings.
Husband and I decided to stop by on November 16-23 as mentioned in the previous review we were packing our things and moving to another place.
We were kinda tired so we arrived around 20:20.
My husband ordered 'Duck Hi So' full of ginger aroma. Light batter crispy duck, shrimps, ginger onions, scallions, carrots, celery, bell pepper with white steamed rice.
My dish was the 'Drunken Noodle' with wide rice ribbon noodles sauteed with eggs, onions, fresh basil leaves and beef. I prefer chicken but this time I wanted to taste something different.
Husband liked his dish he said: The duck was pretty good with a lot of meat, not just bones. It was just perfect with the rice.
My noodles were kinda good, while the beef wasn't a good cut and had a lot of sinues. So I mostly just ate the noodles.
This restaurant has been around nearly 20 years. It is family run by two ladies. They're polite and the owner came to our table making sure everything was alright.
Also they're good about asking you how spicy you'd like your dish - very important in an Asian restaurant.
They didn't rush us by the time we finished they were ready to close.
My husband met them before when we first moved to Virginia in January -23 he ordered food for us there.
To me it was the first time visiting the restaurant.
In my opinion if you're looking for a beautiful ambiance, to take your date and relax is not the place.
Great for take out like we had the first time.
Fantastic local business for absolutely delicious and authentic Thai food. The business owner and staff are all very welcoming and helpful creating an inviting dinning experience. Started with the chive dumplings which were highly flavorful and the perfect start to the evening. Ordered the Panang curry for the main which was perfectly prepared and very fresh with high quality ingredients. For desert we enjoyed the Thai custard which was rich and full of flavor with every bite. Can't recommend highly enough and look forward to dinning here again.
Tried this restaurant for the first time at the recommendation of a friend. The staff is really personable and attentive, very welcoming. The menu is bigger than I had expected and the food is good. We enjoyed the crispy fried tofu appetizer and fish cakes, spup, and the entrees of curry and fried rice. Everything came out pretty quickly right as it was finished cooking. The place itself is clean but sparse in decor. It was a nice afternoon so the door was propped open while we ate. There was some noise coming in from the stores next door, but nothing that would be too bothersome. We will definitely return.
- food was very good, everything was super fresh and had a lot of flavor. The pad see ew was amazing.
- service was quick and staff were friendly.
- place was clean and organized.
- prices are normal for the area.
- plenty of parking.
- a smaller place inside but it wasn't overcrowded.
- overall a good first experience. I'd recommend this location.
The moment you step in you notice that it's run by elderly people and that's when you know the food's going to be authentic and good.
I'm not Thai myself so I'm not sure how accurate the food is but me and my friends ate our respective dishes down to the last grain of rice and got to chat with one of the ladies for a little bit too.
Based on location I can see why it can appear to be empty, but I saw a number of people grab to-go orders so I know there are people here who like this spot too.
Pricing is pretty reasonable with a good array of options so if you're looking for a new Thai spot to check out I'd recommend this one.
I recently ordered takeout from this fantastic Thai restaurant and was blown away by the incredible food and exceptional service. The pad Thai was the best I've ever hadβperfectly balanced flavors and just the right amount of spice. The mango sticky rice was a delightful ending to the meal, with fresh, sweet mango and perfectly cooked sticky rice. The owner was incredibly kind and made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine!
Great food very nice people
I go out of my way to come here for takeout. Really good food. Wonderful flavor and heat. Frequently sad theyβre closed on Monday.
This place has been our familyβs go to Thai food for over 10 years. Amazing food and the owners are so friendly and helpful.
Food is amazing but the server looked rude

This is the perfect place to stop and get quality Thai food at a reasonable price. The staff though is what makes it exceptional. They are some of the kindest people I have ever met and itβs clear why they have been around for over 20 years.

I ordered the chicken pad thai for takeout and it was great! Best pad thai Iβve had in the area so far.
Great flavor, consistently good food. Absolutely recommemd for take away or dine in.
Food-Not so favorable or authentic pad thai (lol...restaurant name). The papaya salad and drunken noodle were terrible. The lack of customers should've been our clue.

Worst place do not recommend anyone to eat here, greedy owners.
First of all, the employees never washed their hands and were eating and then serving our food at r the same time. The food is mediocre at best and they did not have any sauces to compliment our food. Finally, when we went to go and pay for the food we decided to leave no tip and one of the ladies tried to start a fight with us and insulted us. Overall, this restaurant is horrible. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Friendly, quick service, and yummy food. Portions were also HUGE! My boyfriend and I split the pad Thai, and could barely finish it.
Very nice place. It's very small and quaint.
The service and servers are excellent.
My meal was outstanding.
I hate to give bad reviews to family owned restaurants :/
While the service was good and the proprietor was friendly, the duck dish was inedible. The miniscule duck pieces were covered with thick sweet and extremely salty batter. The dish was mostly oil, salt, and sugar with a side of rice.
This is the best in town! My coworker introduced me and the food is incredible. It is so heartwarming to see two older women owners, run and serve people seamlessly. They are amazing.
Local Thai food place
Good food and fast service

Great for take out like we had the first time.
Been going here for years for lunch and the food here is good. I usually get the Tom Kha or Tom Yum soup with the chicken Krapow. Coworkers usually get the drunken noodles and Pad Thai. The place is small for large groups but the owner is very friendly and the service is nice.

Good, authentic Thai cuisine at reasonable prices. The latter being especially important these days. So long as this combination remains, I will continue to be a loyal customer.

First, I would like to caveat that I ordered my food to go for lunch. The reason I bring this up is because generally speaking, food is better had when you sit down in the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how spicy the Duck Hi-So was. I usually don't get something with that much heat unless I go to a good Indian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious!!! With regards to decor, it's minimalistic and on the small side hence the 4 vs. full 5 stars. I would highly recommend this place as a lunch spot with a business client or a casual dinner. Making the atmosphere more intimate would bump up my score as I could then see this place as a potential low-key spot for a date.
Tried the Massaman Curry in about 4 different Thai restaurants in the area and this is by far my favorite.
All of the subtle spices really come out well and you can really taste the creaminess of the coconut milk
Me and my wife will travel from Spotsylvania to this restaurant just to enjoy the pad Thai and basil fried rice, there iced Thai tea and coffee are amazing and the food as always was delicious.
The owner is lovely but the food is quite ordinary. The fish cakes were ok but the squid and curry puffs had too much breast batter (squid) and pastry (curry puffs), and the pad Thai was pretty flavour less, had few bean sprouts, not much flavour, no lime, and generally were overly sweet.
Delicious food and great service!!!
So nice and friendly!!!π
I ordered take out from Pad Thai for the first time yesterday. I wasn't disappointed.
The Tom Yum Gai soup was on point. I ordered it medium spicy and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Drunken Noodles were also very good. Next time I think I'll try one of the curries.
I like small places like Pad Thai. It isn't fancy or over-priced, and the food is delicious.
Ignorant owner/operator insisted in peddling her ignorance regarding service animals, even after I told her she was wrong and needed to consult her legal counsel. The food is mediocre, and a bit overpriced. Wait staff is slow/inefficient. Would not visit again.
Best pad thai I have ever had and at a good price!
2/11/23
After doing some shopping, it time to get someone to eat. My wife picked the restaurant today and today it is Pad Thai. Tje ratings are high so we will see how things go today.
We turned out to be the first guests so far. I went with the appetizer Chrispy Dumplings ($5.99) and my wife went with a meal of Drunkin Noodles aka Kee Moa
Met the owner of Pad Thai Ms. Noi. A charming young lady full of wit and grace. I learned she is the onwer of this restaurant for nearly 20 years. It is a family run. The woman behind me in pink is Noi's sister (for name sake Shelly).
The Chrispy Dumplings have no meat in them and are delicious. I ordered 2 of them. The Drunkin Noodles I did not try, because it is spicy...my wife loves spicy food.
The music playing right now acoustic guitar with spanish themes. Not sure of the song. Okay I looked it up.
2 The Night (Fast Cars/4 Frank) Song by Ottmar Liebert.
The music is setting the mood.
Dessert turned out to be Sticky Rice with Mango.
The mango did not last 5 minutes. The rice was okay for me, but I think I would have rather eaten a whole mango. I will be sure to let Ms. Noi know this for next time.
Before leaving, Ms. Noi noticed my card for Relax Rite Massage. We had plans to get a massage and Ms. Noi was surprised to learn the cost was so low. I gave her information on who to see so she might make an appointment with Cindy or Amy.
Nevertheless, we will come back here to eat later on this year.

Great food and service
Good food, reasonably priced. Lovely staff/owner
Best thai food in the Northern Virginia. We order weekly. My fiancΓ© go to is Pork Pad thai. I'm more adventurous and have tried just about every entree and Curry. Yellow curry is my favorite from here. I've never had a bad meal. Customer service is great.
Definitely not up to par to other Thai places
Cute little place, and the lady taking our order was so sweet, friendly, and kind. If you like Thai food definitely come here.
A lot of great pad thai in Fairfax but this is the best!
Really delicious! The pad thai was AMAZING! Noi, the owner, was so nice and came and chatted with us. Definitely will be returning!
A cute little shop. Had amazing food and especially amazing thai iced tea!!
Best Thai in Fairfax!! We are regulars.
One of our regular go-tos! Very authentic and delicious flavors. Our favorites are the pad-see-ew and the crispy chicken basil. The curry puffs are also a must try.
We got dinner here tonight. So good! Great location. And good portion sizes.
Really tasty food.
We got take out. Yellow curry with shrimp was delicious. Basil fried rice with chicken was tasty and flavorful. The pad thai was a little sweeter than I expected but each place has their own recipe... Would have appreciated a few more shrimp :-)
The customer service was really nice and sincere and the prices are reasonable with good portions.
Also, locally owned.
Loveeeee this place. Very covid conscious. Sweet owners. 10 out of 10 recommend. I get the chicken panang curry and it has never disappointed
Donβt waste your time pineapple fried rice was tasteless with maybe two small pieces of pineapple .. fried chicken looked strange smelled strange it definitely wasnβt fried chicken.. Never again gross Iβve had better Thai Food from other places The only thing that was tasted was the egg rolls
The food is decent & good portions at this place. However the customer service is horrible. The employees answering the phone is not friendly at all, seems bothered to take a phone order. I have ordered food a few times & I asked them to give spices and the female employee is annoyed every time & only gives one tiny dry pepper spice. Spending over $50 on food and they donβt have the heart to give more than one hot spice. Trying to support local businesses during these times but this establishment doesnβt seem to care.
Food was so good! Huge portion and staff were super nice! π super friendly and food have great flavor. 10/10!
Really good! Tasty, spiciness just right, everything well put together even in a to go.
Food was below expectations and price was higher than reason. Worst Thai food I've had. Broccoli was old and yellowed and overall quality of main dishes was sub par.
Best in the world!
Very nice place
I ordered the Pad Thai with beef and the spring rolls. Spring rolls were not bad, but the Pad Thai was WAY TOO sweet. I couldn't even finish it because it was too sweet. It was the worst pad Thai I ever had. Please, for your own good, go to a different Thai place.
Ordered Basil fried rice around closing time with spice. Looks like they rushed my order. Rice was not mixed well. No spice or flavor. Tasteless. Will not go back again.
We drive past 20 different thai restaurants to specifically get food here. Worth the drive!
Simply great food... tim is simply Awsm .. do try their world famous Thai tea ...
Great portion sizes and taste
Iβve lived in Fairfax for about 4 years now and I visit this restaurant almost every week. I am consistently surprised at how tasty their curries are and the pad thai is by far the best Iβve had - certainly better than any Iβve had in DC.
I HIGHLY recommend the pad thai, red curry, green curry, and the massaman curry, which is inexplicably amazing. Pro tip: if you order the pad thai, make sure to ask for a side of hot sauce and chili powder to make it spicy and perfect. Iβm SHOOK
Very pleasantly surprised not to see styrofoam containers. I really appreciated that. My beverage did come in a styrofoam cup and I hope they will move away from this. Food was great, 4 stars because portions felt small.
The food here was so delicious and the owners were so sweet and friendly. I got the spicy chicken pad thai and if you enjoy spicy foods you will enjoy their spicy versions. The egg rolls were very tasty and fresh. It is carry out only currently and you will have less of a wait if you order online. The thai coffee and their thai tea was also delicious. Would definitely go here again. The portions are also generous and filling.
Amazing food! Best Thai place I've found since coming to VA!
Good food, but small portion. And Iβm small.
Great little restaurant. We dined in couple of times and regularly order take put. Love their food. Friendly people. A bit pricy but hey you get what you pay for lol Highly recommend this place.
good stuff always. fresh. they work hard.
This is by far the best Thai food around. It is a small family owned restaurant. They are so friendly and if you go enough, will remember your names. The food is authentic and the price is great. Highly recommend.
BEST Crispy Duck in the area! Haven't had a bad meal there ever. Great service. Highly recommended!!!
I eat Thai every where I go and this place had the best Drunken Noodles and Duck Basil that I have ever eaten! Staff are very friendly and show that they truly care about their customers.
We tried this place on a friend's recommendation. Glad we did. After our food arrived, I asked the Chef for spices. He smiled and was glad to bring them over. He then gave each of us recommendations for which spices to use, how much and why! I have been eating Thai food for decades, but that was a first. I will tell you, his advice was spot on, and we have found our new go-to Thai restaurant.
Small mom and pop place with friendly customer service. Their signature dish, Pad Thai is excellent. They use a house made tamarind sauce that is tangy, savory, and sweet which cant be duplicated from a store bought jar! Dont sleep on their curry dishes as well!
It was good Thai food. The servers are very friendly and the food doesn't take very long to be ready.
Never was a big fan of Thai food even though I love the country and people. This restaurant changed all that for me. Now I've been here three times in the last two weeks.
The pad thaΓ― was ok, but the customer service was out of this world. My father ordered the Thai bbq pork. It was a bit spicy. So, when our host came over and found this unfortunate information out, she made sure to provide him with another sauce, one more palatable to his taste. All around good vibes. Eat here :)
Superb dinner! Fried Dumplings and Duck had perfect breading. Owner/Chef was very amicable.
Delicious crispy duck and basil, good service too
I have been coming to this restaurant for over 10+ years. Since the first time I came in until now they have never failed to provide the best authentic Thai food to me and my family. I drive 45 mins just to come eat here. If you are looking for some delicious authentic taste and great atmosphere this is it!
Plus my soon to be 3 year old son is a picky eater but when he comes here, he eats anything but his favorite is three flavor chicken!
Everyone that works here is very friendly and keep the place very clean.
Recommend anything on the menu!
My favorite: pad Thai, red curry, Panang curry, three flavor chicken and there THAI TEA is AMAZING!
Good food
Really good food and a great deal for lunch; $9 for a dumpling appetizer and a meat with rice. I got basil chicken and it was delicious. The people working there were very friendly, and the food came out fast.
One of the best Thai places I've eaten at! We got the tofu basil and drunken noodles. The spice levels were perfect, the flavors were popping, and the lady who runs the place is a total sweetheart just like the yummy Thai iced tea we ordered.
Consistently great food. Friendly, fast service. Good, casual atmosphere. Iβve tried red curry at many of the Thai restaurants and this one blows the others out of the water!!
Went here based on the other good reviews and I'm glad I did. Food was excellent and came really quickly. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The interior was really well kept, bright and comfortable. Great food, really reasonably priced, great experience. Will definitely return if I'm in the area!
Iβve tried pretty much every Thai place in Fairfax and the surrounding area, this one is definitely my favorite. I love that they make their own fresh noodles, and their use of Quality ingredients is really important to me. And you can tell by the way the food tastesβ¦ it is definitely a step up. Highly recommend
This is one of the better Thai restaurants in the area and one of my go-to places. Their food is amazing and everyone here is very friendly. The remodeled interior makes the place feel brighter and more open.
Great food, as usual
Pad Thai has been in my diet (ha!) since 2010 (absent 11/2015-Dec 2018) due job transfer. Since being back I frequent location at least twice a week! While living in California (no good Thai food) I highly recommend this location not only for the food π, but also the owners who are very friendly to all of the customer's. My usual dish is Kapow Chicken and spring rolls.
This Thai restaurant is money!!! Good food delivery didnt take long. Will order again. Thanks!!
I love the Pad Thai and druken noodles here. Definitely my favorite from everywhere Iβve been here or in Thailand. The people that work here are nice and I love how the inside was redone.
Good food. Reasonable price. Simple Thai.
Nice food
Nice Thai food
Lovely family run business. Food is always delicious-we crave it and are willing to drive half an hour to get it
Delicious as always
The interior has changed with same owner.
First, the menu now is a clipboard with 3 loose pages clipping to it. Menu is basically the same with massaman curry added that we noticed.
The food was alright. We had pad thai. The noodle was overcooked and broke apart very easy. Massaman chicken curry had a few pieces of potato and slices carrot. It was alright. Green curry was missing green beans, used regular eggplant instead of green thai eggplant and there was lacking of thai peppers (crushed roasted pepper was used instead) when we ordered thai hot. Steamed mussels are good.
Food is adequate. Services is good.
We have trouble finding an authentic Thai food around the area since we . This restaurant fell through the crack also. Guess we have to continue searching.
This is now the second bad experience I've had at this restaurant. I decided to give it a second try because it is a close location. Today I ordered 2 dishes and was told that they needed to write down my credit card information (including the full number, expiration date, code on back, and billing zip code) because their manager (who I guess is the only one that can process payments?) is at Walmart shopping. I said I'm not comfortable leaving all this information here and asked when the manager will be returning, was told they don't know and that "it will be ok". They refused to figure out when the manager will be back to pay so I left. The first visit I found a staple in my food, apparently I should have just stayed away.
Awesome chicken pad Thai and Thai tea!!
Thai food at its finest! Fresh and delicious, the food stays true to thai cooking roots. Service was fast and on point.
Excellent service and the best pad thai in miles and miles
Best pad Thai I have had in years... of course living in Texas, not that many good Thai options.
Duck is amazing
Best kapow around!
Always goood here
Could be the worst Thai restaurant in DC metro area.
First off, the portion is unusually small. Their entree is at best 2/3 of the size you'd get at any other restaurant. I ordered a Drunken Noodle with seafood for $15.89 (including tax). As you can see from the picture, the takeout box is barely larger than my iPhone 7 Plus phone case (I needed the phone to take this photo with.)
And, the food tastes funny. If the Drunken Noodle at Mai Thai in downtown DC and Georgetown (a much nicer restaurant by the way, and the same dish costs the same price $14.95 pre-tax) is what a normal Thai Drunken Noodle tastes like, then this restaurant's Drunken Noodle is rubbish. Only two flavors, sweet and overwhelmingly spicy, like the chef dumped a whole bottle of chili pepper and several scoop of sugar. No greens. Although there is variances, typically a Drunken Noodle would at least have green bell peppers and fresh basil in it. None of that in my dish. I only got some stale carrots and several slices of onions, and what's more? Scrambled eggs!! What the heck?! I don't get how other reviewers rated this place authentic. It's overly hyped in my opinion.
If you wanna have Thai food, go somewhere else. You just randomly walk into any Thai food place and can't possibly get a worse experience than this.
Small place, but great food and good service.
The panang curry was really good, and the portion was such that I could actually finish it -- which I really liked. (I hate wasting food.) I also tried the tamarind juice, and loved it! It's a hard flavor to describe, but I'm so glad I decided to try something new!
Small and cute place. Seems like it's family owned and it was adorable to see three generations pitching in to keep customers happy. Lunch portions are adequate and it seems fairly priced.
I ordered here after colleagues raved about how delicious the food was. I called to place an office order for delivery and was told by a woman that they were "too busy" and I "had to wait." Since it wasn't an order for just myself, I decided to go ahead and pickup. When I arrived (pretty good location), I had to find parking and then walk. I entered a small, narrow restaurant with about 6 tables occupied and only 1 server. The woman who had greeted me was at the register answering phones, sitting down. There was one woman in me whose food had been "taken" and she was waiting for her order to be made again. Instead of the cashier ringing me up and getting me out, she sat on the phone and had me stand there about 10 minutes additional while my food sat in front of her.
When I finally got my food, the lady told me the total and I questioned why it was so high. She said if you want the lunch special you should have said something when you placed the order. Clearly, it's lunch time and the item that i ordered is on the lunch menu but...Ok...why didn't you confirm which size I wanted instead of just charging me the most expensive?
This was my first time here and the curry that I ordered was ok. Definitely not worth a 4.4 rating and with the service I received, I struggled not to give it 2 stars! The family may be nice and the food is ok, but I don't pay for 2nd class service or being told to "wait." There are too many options to do that. I don't plan to go back.
** the best mango sticky rice in fairfax county** This was my first time here, I ordered green curry with tofu and veg, mango sticky rice and she sold me on a thai iced tea. It was prorated super fast, everything was very fresh and packaged nicely. The curry wasnt spicy but I had forgotten to ask for spicy so I think they made it mild by default. Either way, everything was super delicious, and I will be back!!
Me and my boyfriend are from mass, and decided to come here as the first place we are eating from the area. All I can say is that this place is amazing!!! The food is delicious, and the service is extremely friendly! (Currently writing this review as I eat my dessert) recommended!
Ordered for takeout and everything was packaged nicely and tasted great. The serving sizes are large so you can turn it into two meals and get a little more value out.
I was going to Wal-Mart after work but chickened out due to the masses of people. This store is located nearby and when I saw they had a 4.4 rating on Google, I decided to try. While I love that this is a family restaurant the food was underwhelming. The Crispy Duck was overcooked with no sauce & the mussels were too sweet. The people are great but there are better Thai options in Fairfax. When I go to a 4.4 restaurant my expectations are higher. But the owners were very nice!
I have been eating here for at least 12 years. I no longer live nearby, but I stop by every chance I get (my family still lives in the area). They are so friendly and always remember me, even though I don't get to come very often anymore. As for the food, it is my favorite thai place in the area. My favorite app is the chive dumplings, I haven't found any chive dumplings even remotely comparable in the area. The crispy dumplings and kanom jeeb are also always delicious. Tom kha chicken soup is amazing. And for dinner I usually go for pad thai, pad ginger, or one of their curry dishes. But I have tried just about everything at this point and I have never been disappointed. The lunch specials are also great because you get a lot of food for 7.99 and I usually go for the pad thai woo sen chicken special - I think I might even prefer those bean thread noodles to the normal rice noodles. For desert, the simple mango sticky rice every time. If you haven't been here before definitely give them a try!
Nice place, great food for the price. Fresh Roll was mostly lettuce. Main dishes were nicely prepared, great flavor.
There is a waiter young male who has attitude and wrong person to wait table. Very impatient. Had a bad experience

Worst thai restaurant in fairfax. Go ahead and order tom yom soup and drunken noodles, you'll see what im talking about.
Best Pad Thai in the area! Excellent food with generous portions. Great service and friendly owner! A true gem in the area!
Cozy atmosphere and great food.
Great Thai place
This is hands down the best Thai in the area! Very Authentic and full flavored!
Love the Thai food here. The pad Thai isn't dry and is very flavorful (huge portions so you always have some to take home). The Thai iced tea is great as well. I like coming here for good Thai food, fast service (usually out within 10-15 mins), and good prices (cheaper than other Thai places).
Good food and flavors
Excellent and very tasty food the pad Thai is superb
Everytime we go here the food is excellent and the service is as well
