Authentic Thai cuisine in historic old town Fairfax. Offers varieties of delicious dishes with organic fresh ingredients and home-grown herbs. An amazing outdoor dining experience to enjoy an alfresco ambience in the garden setting under the stars. Very nice, clean and open gallery atmosphere with great vibes. Super-friendly staff with great attitude and attention to the best signature clientele’s services.
We had lunch in September at the Courtside Thai Restaurant. Last night we decided to have dinner. Since it was very cold outside and windy we bravely went to the restaurant for another meal.
The restaurant was peaceful with a few tables with customers, nice Christmas decor and soft music.
My husband ordered 'Red Curry Duck' boneless duck in pineapple red curry, tomatoes, basil leaves and fresh coconut milk.
I had the 'Thai Chicken Drunken Noodles' with chili-pepper sauce, veggies, tomatoes, green beans and basil leaves. For drinks hot Jasmine tea to warm up the night.
The food was great and very tasty we enjoyed our meals better this time than our previous visit during lunch.
The service was good we had 'Sammy and Anas' helping us. They're polite and uniforms are clean.
The restaurant is pretty clean, I enjoyed looking at the artwork of the walls, the colors are beautiful. The bar is fully loaded and lovely. The restrooms are in good condition, not smelling either. The patio is beautifully embellished with vivid flowers, see the photos I took this Summer when we had sunlight.
PS: Our first dish when we visited in September wasn't good, husband had 'Lamb Yellow Curry' he said too much potatoes and little lamb followed by rice to not good.
I ordered 'The Mama Bowl' specialty Thai noodles in Chef big bowl and succulent broth with chicken and jumbo shrimp, scallions and cilantro topped with crispy fried wontons.
The description sounds amazing but the taste is not good, I do NOT recommend this dish.
Also I didn't like to see piles of beverage boxes, beer cases against the wall in the main part of the restaurant. These boxes shouldn't be there for customers to see
Still a good restaurant, you just need to pick the right dish, also ask the portion sizes, level of spicyness!
This place is pure heaven! Starting with the exterior and interior, it’s nice to have an al fresco setup while enjoying their delicious food. The interior is also quite charming, with all the tables beautifully painted.
The service was amazing and very welcoming.
Now, the food was on point. From the appetizer Nam Tok (their grilled beef), to the wonton soup, and the entrée Duck Curry, everything was a heavenly bite, rich with flavor.
We visited on a Saturday night, close to a holiday, so it wasn’t too crowded, but there were still plenty of people enjoying their meals.
Overall, this is one of my top Thai spots to visit in the DMV!
Very reasonable price for the quality and quantity of the food. The owners (?) are super accommodating. They let us drop off a cake in their fridge 2 hours before we went there for lunch. They were patient when our large group couldn’t make up our mind what to order. The whole fish is beautifully presented and delicious.
The dishes were bursting out authentic Thai herbs! Absolutely scrumptious meals. I highly recommend the drunken rice noodles with shrimps, the pad Thai chicken/shrimp dish, or the eggplant with garlic sauce if you are a veggie lover. For appetizers, do not hesitate to order the famous chicken satay which was so flavorful, tender, and juicy. The waiters were polite and accommodating. Bravo and wish you continued success!
Courtside Thai is a great restaurant with a widely varied menu. I have been here probably 5 times, tried a different dish each time, and never had a bad meal. The thing that makes this place stand out is the attentiveness and warmth of the staff. It is clearly a family run small business.
What a wonderful place!!! Came in here for the first time for Valentine's Day lunch with my hubby, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff were soooo sweet and attentive, and I loved the extra little Valentine's Day touches like bending my straw into a heart and giving my hubby a fresh rose to give to me. Everything was perfect! Also, get the mango with sticky rice for dessert, you'll thank me later!
My first time here. I was seeking a place with good vegetable spring rolls and I hit the jackpot. They were soooooo tasty and made to perfection. The presentation for my "takeout order" was beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The owners/management were both super friendly, humble and thankful. I'm glad I came here and I will return for a full meal. Such love and care they put into their food!

The dishes are delicious and high quality. Service is very fast. Atmosphere is cozy.
FINALLY FOUND A GOOD THAI PLACE! I've been looking for years and now found an amazing Thai food place! Everything is delicious and amazing service, especially for kids. They brought out a kids tray with fruit for my son. Love it!
great red duck curry. also ramalana? was really good
The service was very warm and welcoming! The food was delicious and the presentation was on point!

Delicious food
The gentleman who helped us was extraordinary and the food was very tasty!!!
So good & fantastic service! Our go to Thai restaurant when we're in town on business.

Terrific food and such terrific hosts. My wife and I are vegan and she's gluten free. They are always very accommodating to our diet requests. This is our special place to bring family for special birthdays and such. I'm glad they reopened.
I love this place. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. The service is the wonderful. It’s worth driving 30 min to have. 😅
Amazing service and atmosphere—the restaurant team deeply cares about restaurant patrons. Worth noting parking in the immediate area is difficult to find if not familiar with the area. The spring rolls were mushy inside and the chicken Pad Ka Prow was heavily overpowered by the smell and taste of fish (I’m assuming from a heavy dose of fish sauce), making it inedible for me.
Stopped by for lunch and was blown away by the food and the service. Definitely recommend the catfish curry!
I don't get the glowing reviews for this place. I got the chicken pad thai and my partner got the gaeng masaman w/tofu. Both our dishes were bland, and mine had basically no sauce or peanuts. Just super dry/tasteless. If a Thai restaurant can't make a good pad thai then what can they do? The food is also not cheap. Disappointed & won't be back.
Great Thai food. The staff was very tentative. They have an outside patio with plenty of seating as well.
Amazing Thai experience. We always get the Papaya Salad—best around. Must have the Mango Sticky Rice dessert!
We ate on the patio which is surrounded by beautiful chili pepper plants and fans. The service was warm and friendly and the food was top notch. Will be back!
Great food, great service, always!!
Owner was very proud of his mango sticky rice and indeed it was great! Food was realllly good.
Staff was beyond friendly and kind-food was fantastic!
Ate with my wife at the Courtside, sat outside weather permitted, food for me was spicy, and my wife had no spices. Drink a beer and water, loved the food, service and staff.
Lots of seating, indoor and outdoor. Their food is like no other, it's a spark of flavor. The waiters are super nice. I've gone about 20 ish times and I always get the pork belly dish. Yummy 😋🤤
Best Thai food I’ve ever had and I’ve visited Thailand
The best in the DMV!
I had a great first experience at Courtside Thai! They were super friendly and the food was good quality. Pad thai and spring rolls were delicious. I will definitely be back and this is new my go-to thai spot for those cravings!
Decent place for Thai cuisine.
Amazing restaurant run by an elderly couple. They make you feel at home like your own grandparents. The food is great, definitely a must visit if you're in the area.
Customer service was amazing. Food was beyond delicious. Will be back for sure having just moved to the area to eat more. Plenty of Vegan options as well and full service bar.
Court side Thai is a great cozy place in downtown Fairfax. Very cute entrance. The Thai food was fantastic, I got typical pad Thai, but with scallops which were amazing. My wife got the pineapple fried rice which she also enjoyed. The court side Thai dumplings for an appetizer were perfect.
Me and my family have been coming here for over 10 years and it’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area- even our extended family demands to eat here when they visit! The service is wonderful with such lovely owners. We love the food, be it the classics or new dishes that we enjoy trying.
Really delicious food, and not just typical Americanized Thai food -- lots of interesting dishes from different regions. And the two people serving us were very sweet!
Had a wonderful dinner there. Amazing food and very friendly. Did not rush us to leave at closing either.
Best Thai food I’ve eaten. The vegetables are very fresh & deliciously prepared. Our server was very attentive & cordial. Large dining area & outside court available.
Okay, stay with me... we had tickets to an 8p Nate Bargatze show (along with 10k other people in the area), and a 6p reservation at Courtside Thai.
The restaurant was packed (Friday night) and had three people working the floor. We didn't receive menus until 6:20 after asking, and had to ask again (at the front) to order at 6:35 where I mentioned to the staff that we had to leave at 7:30.
They rushed to take our order (table of 4). Brought spring rolls at 6:40, so we thought we were set.
I went to the front to pay in advance at 7 (still no food, but didn't want to wait for a check after the meal), and the gentleman at the front seemed angry at me for paying early?
By 7:35, still no food. No update, no apology for 95 min wait. And we had to leave. The gentleman then chastised us for not having enough time to wait for food? Sir, 95 minutes is WAY long to not receive food. And if your entrees aren't coming until an HOUR after apps, something is way off.
They did box up food and we left at 7:40. We ate it later that evening, and it was bland and average. The Pad Thai was dry, noodles were undercooked, and dish was flavorless. The curry was also fairly bland (good spice, but bland).
Look, they were slammed and understaffed, and we were on a time crunch. Not great for anyone involved. But the way they treated us during the evening was not acceptable. And the food was average at best when we did get to it (obviously hours later, but curry should improve in flavor?).
If they had treated the situation with more grace and understanding, I would consider returning. But being angry with us and chastising us for not being able to handle a full house on a Friday? And then turning out average food? Won't return.
The best Thai food in northern VA, and it has some stiff competition. The owners are wonderfully friendly, the restaurant is clean and pretty, and the food is stellar. I've come here for years now, worked my way through basically the entire menu, and never had a bad dish.
1st the people who run this resturaunt can only be described as lovely. The lady who took my order over the phone was so nice and explained anything and everything. When i went to pick my food up i couldnt find the resturaunt because it was mismarked on google maps so the guy from the resturaunt came out onto the street in the rain and walked me to the resturaunt
2nd the food was actually really good. Had pinneaple fried rice and it was excellent.
Highly recommend this restaurant. The people who work here deserve your business.
Fantastic authentic restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. We had the thai dumplings, drunken noodles with chicken, kao pad chicken, pad thai talay. Sweet sticky rice with mangofor dessert. All amazing.
I came here on a random quiet Tuesday night after work, the week before Christmas. I originally ordered the food for takeout as I didn't want to take up too much seating on a busy evening. I ended up changing my mind and decided to eat in the restaurant instead. The food was fantastic! With some added chili's (I love spicy food) the crispy catfish was exactly what I wanted. I ended up ordering more with some Thai ice coffee and mango stickyrice. I'm definitely coming back.
Came with a group of six. The food was amazing and a short wait, while staff was extremely friendly.
Great food, service, and atmosphere!
the food was amazing, loved the dumplings and the satay, would definitely come back
Great and authentic Thai food! We tried a lot of starters and currys and everything was absolutely delicious. The drunken noodles were also great, overall highly recommend!
The food is good but the last three times we went there the service was AWFUL! One time it took them an hour and half just to bring our appetizers. The last time we went there we sat there for 30 minutes and nobody came to our table even once. The service is really bad! Bad enough that I decided not to go back there ever again. Definitely the worst service I have ever seen!!!
I came here to eat dinner while on work travel based on the reviews and was not disappointed. I ordered the Nam Tok (grilled beef appetizer) and Ped Gra Prow Grob (honey duck favorite entree). Both were delicious and probably some of my favorite Thai dishes I've had. The service was prompt, friendly, and the restaurant was spacious & comfortable. My only criticism is that parking to eat here may be contested as you'll likely have to circle around the block to find availability. However, it's well worth it as I'd definitely recommend eating here.
The garden has such a luxurious feel. The service and food were wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the sauce for the pad Thai was made on the spot with the dish. When I asked for my unfinished meal to-go, the lady packaged it for me and even included a little extra sauce which was so thoughtful and kind. My friends’ dishes also looked upscale and fresh.
This place used to be a gem but sadly we recently learned that there is nothing vegetarian at this restaurant anymore as they use fish sauce in everything and refuse to omit.
Great place! I been going there for 19 years best place ever! Family owned great food!
Comida boa e atendimento cortez, sem luxo, preço condizente com o local, que e uma zona histórica de Fairfax VA.
This was our first time here. You know how much fun it is when you discover a fantastic new place that exceeds your expectations? This is one of those places! The owners/staff were fantastic and very helpful with recommendations. The food was loaded with flavor. What a great experience and fun find. We will definitely be back!!!
We had a very good lunch on the outdoor patio with good service. I would go back.
"Absolutely extraordinary! Courtside Thai Cuisine is a gem in the heart of Fairfax, VA. From the moment you step inside, you're embraced by a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the aromatic allure of authentic Thai cuisine.
The food is a culinary masterpiece, each dish a symphony of flavors harmoniously blending together. The Pad Thai is a revelation, with perfectly cooked noodles and a balance of sweet, sour, and savory that dances on the palate. The Green Curry is another star, its richness and depth of flavor truly showcasing the art of Thai cooking.
Service here is impeccable. The staff are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. They are knowledgeable about the menu and more than willing to accommodate any dietary preferences or modifications.
But what truly sets Courtside Thai Cuisine apart is the ambiance. The decor is elegant yet cozy, providing an ideal backdrop for both casual dinners and special occasions. It's a place where every meal feels like a celebration.
In a world full of dining options, Courtside Thai Cuisine stands out as a beacon of culinary excellence and hospitality. It's not just a meal; it's an experience, a journey through the vibrant, flavorful landscapes of Thailand. A true Fairfax treasure, I can't recommend it highly enough! 5 stars all the way!"
Great food and beautiful patio space. We went twice in one week to order the things we didn’t get to try the first time. The nam tok was a standout off the appetizers list— a must try.
Fantastic gardened patio to dine outside and enjoy the weather. Service was incredibly warm, kid friendly and shows they clearly service families.
The dishes we ordered didn't pack the bold flavours we normally associate with Thai cuisine, but we also didn't order any spicy dishes on account of sharing with the little one. 5 ⭐ experience overall and a great way to enjoy an afternoon in Old Fairfax.
Cute little place and such a lovely atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Hidden right in the heart of Main Street.
Ordered takeout tonight and it was my first time trying this spot. I got a little lost and called the restaurant. So thankful that the owner offered to walk around the block to find me. As we approached the restaurant, I caught a glimpse of their gorgeous patio area and restaurant. I plan on returning to dine in with family. All in all, My takeout was beyond delicious and the portions were generous. I am very pleased and can’t wait to return.
A rare restaurant that can’t be replicated, full of life. The food, flowers, decorations, and cleanliness are top tier. Best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The sauces are made in house, Thai chili pepper sauce was delicious and spicy!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the area.
The BEST Thai food in Fairfax, with the sweetest couple running it. I love that they bring the kids their own plastic plates with fruit.
Hands down the best Thai food we ever had in the area. We like to try new things from the menu and they all never disappoint. For all of you spicy food lovers, they also have various hot chili sauces and they are so good! The customer service is also amazing, the owners are always so nice. Highly recommended.
Dog friendly. Can dine outside the courtyard. Very good customer service. Best Thai restaurant in Fairfax for sure!!!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Super friendly and very appreciative of our business! Explained their menu and provided options. Food was excellent, beautifully presented and tasted great! Thank you for a wonderful experience 😊
We had a delicious meal at Courtside Thai last night. Sat outside and it was very pleasantly set up. The food was really good and did not seem like it came out of sauce bottle like a lot of restaurants. It was all really fresh and well prepared. Perfect job on the crispy basil. The whole staff/ family, was super pleasant too! Our first visit- we will be back!
Went back to Courtside Thai restaurant for the first time in a long time tonight. It was very good! I had pad prik king with beef and spring rolls. Great meal and the owners are very nice people too!
I love Thai food and given all the good reviews I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately the food was bland and had no flavor at all. My green curry tasted like water and had no spice. My friend said her drunken noodles were equally bland. The service and atmosphere are beyond excellent but sadly the food is just not up to par. The Thai tea was good but I was surprised to see it was $6. I should've asked how much it was before I ordered it since they don't have a drink menu but rather tell you verbally what's available.
Update having now visited in person:
The food is just as good as it was before, better maybe for not having first. The new renovations look great and the place really jumps out with a beautiful patio and an open and nicely painted interior.
Service is speedy with staff checking in frequently at every table rather than assigned to individual tables. Both people who assisted us were super friendly and seemed to care that we had a good experience.
The food was amazing, and everyone cleaned their plate. My parents had thai iced tea for the first time and adored it. Definitely in running for my favorite restaurant in Fairfax City right now.
We sat outside and had a wonderful time. Amazing service and atmosphere and the food was very good and affordable.
I had to write a review after my incredible experience here. As a thai connoisseur, it’s been awhile since I’ve been wowed by a place but the owners completely won my heart! They were so incredibly sweet, the food was so tasty and felt authentic, and the atmosphere was gorgeous. Highly recommend going their on a nice summer evening and enjoying the patio. 10/10 would absolutely come back
Surprising atmosphere in the middle of Fairfax with a gorgeous patio where you can relax and enjoy the delicious Thai dishes. The coconut soup was loaded with fresh vegetables which were cooked just right. The spring rolls were crisp and yummy. The sea lover dish had juicy shrimp and scallops (which were a little over cooked). And the lamb and veggie dish was quite good. The lamb was tasty and the veggies were perfectly cooked, with the eggplant being our favorite. Meanwhile, the presentation of these dishes were delightful. Overall, we were happy to find this gem in the middle of Fairfax.
Very great place to enjoy Thai food on a warm Summer day. Can get a little busy but the staff works very hard to service everyone.
We absolutely love Courtside Thai! We are lucky enough to live close enough to walk but on days when the weather stops us from walking, we are more than happy to park in the garage to enjoy their delightful food. We have tried almost everything on the menu over the years and truly love them all. Some favorites are: the sun dried beef appetizer, papaya salad, Tom kha soup with chicken, Sea of Love, Siam Sarm Chan, and the mango sticky rice. Their mojitos are also amazing. Cannot say enough great things!!
I do have to say the best part of the experience is their wonderful customer service. They are all friendly, kind, and make you feel so welcome.
This is a place where you get true chef offerings and presentation at "cook" prices. Have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. Make sure to try the summer roles with peanut sauce as an appetizer. Superb! Settle back and enjoy the wait. It tells you that they're starting to prepare your meal when you arrive. Everything is very fresh and beautifully presented. Our favorite Thai restaurant and one of our favorites of any type. We love the pineapple fried rice. Outdoor dining is a real treasure here.
Really disappointed. It was like they forgot the sauce on our pad Thai. Look how pale the noodles are! Looking at other photos of their pad Thai, there’s way more sauce. Not sure why they put barely any sauce on our noodles but it really feels like a waste of $18. I’ve never had pad Thai with essentially no sauce.
This is probably my favorite Thai food. I will just say I never have been a person who enjoyed Thai food. But Courtside Thai Cuisine has changed it for me. I am now a big fan. The folks are very friendly and inviting. There were a lot of regulars when we arrived and the owners knew folks by name which was a good sign. The restaurant is open Tuesdays thru Sundays and closed on Mondays.
We started with the Curry Puff appetizer, Deef fried stuffed with chicken and potatoes. Well seasoned with sweet cucumber-onion relish. The curry was more on the sweeter side than spicy. Very delicious.
I had a cup of Tom Yum seafood soup. Wow, this is the best I have ever had.
We also had the Thai Papaya Salad, First time I have tried this, and found it quite pleasant and tasty. We also enjoyed the spring rolls. For the main meal, we had the Siam Sarm Chan (Prepared Pork Belly sauteed with sweet onions and sweet peppers with cashew nuts. Quite tasty. The star of the dish was the fried whole flounder with veggies and garlic sauce. The flounder was huge and delicious. It was the last one they had, Over 2 pounds. They did mention that a new shipment of fresh seafood would be coming in including Red Snapper and softshell crabs. I washed everything down with Thai Ice tea and Thai Iced coffee as well as water. Did not have room for dessert but I will be back for more. This review is actually 4.5 stars
Absolutely love this restaurant. We stopped in on a whim and fell in love with the authentic and delicious food and the friendliest wait staff you'll find. This is by all appearances a family-run restaurant and the staff truly do their best to make sure you feel taken care of. The food was fantastic, seafood fresh, and everything we ordered was wonderful. We aren't in the immediate area, but will definitely make the trip back out to eat here again. Thanks Courtside!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Menu is full of things you don't normally find, all made with fresh, perfectly cooked ingredients. Generous portions, great people. You won't regret it.
I am in love with "The Sea of Love." It was so sweet yet spicy. The sweet sticky rice and mango took me right back to Thailand where I ate it for the first time.
Great Thai restaurant. Lots of food options. Tasty. Good service. Parking is a little difficult, but worth it
Delicious! Definitely recommend the pad woonsen. Pad see ew is also good.
Pad Thai was sour and not the right balance of sweet, sour and saltiness that it was supposed to have. We also had the mai tai drink which was decent. We also had Pad Ka Prow with beef. Flavors were good but it doesn't seem cooked okay. It had the appearance of boiled beef instead of sauteed in hot heat. We also had the coconut shrimp which was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and coconut flavor. It was just crispy and delicious. We had the Pad Se Ew which was a thick white noodle in brown sauce. It was good. But not quite 100%. Their staff are super nice and aim to please. For that, I give them thumbs up for the great customer service. I have eaten here before mainly for their service and decent food. They have great potential. Lots of customers eating in their romantic court yard in Fairfax city with cute lights hung above. Nice ambiance and customer service still brings me back to try more new plates I have never tried before.
This charming little thai place in downtown Fairfax was lovely. I stopped in for lunch and got a full rundown of their top dishes from the woman working the register. We had a nice conversation as the food cooked and then I took it to go. The crispy basil duck was amazing. I subbed steamed noodles for white rice. I will absolutely be back, this place deserves many visits.
It was awful. I am surprise with the reviews. They don’t cook the chicken and shrimp, and it smells bad . We ended up going somewhere else to eat and we paid 90$ for nothing. The only plus is costumer service
The food is amazing!!! The owners are so kind and truly want everyone to enjoy their food and experience.
It was our first time here and we will most definitely be back. I wish I took more photos of the delicious food our friends and I had but trust me it was all delicious. Some of the most tasty Thai cuisine I’ve ever had!
The food is phenomenal and the owners are the nicest, most hospitable people you could ever meet.
Courtside is your new all-time favorite. I promise. TVD
The food, service and ambiance was what me and my daughter needed today! We got the shrimp pad thai and coconut soup. Talk about delicious and healthy... We will definitely be back to try something new each time... our new Thai go to in Fairfax!
My wife and I just had a lovely dinner here. The waitstaff was so friendly, we didn't want to leave! The food was fantastic as well. We both got curry and shared a fried rice. What a great way to warm up on a cold night. Thank you Courtside Thai for a lovely evening!
I visited on a Friday evening to finally experience this seemingly well reviewed Thai food after passing by several times before. The interior showcases ample seating in a welcoming and clean open space with brightly colored walls. The exterior allows for a number of tables for those wishing to eat outside. Service reflects that which one would hope from a family-owned establishment. I was greeted by more than one person, including both what I presume to be husband and wife. The former oriented me to the menu assuring me of the fresh and authentic nature of the food, and the latter checked on me as I was eating and even gave me a remote control to watch TV as I ate at the bar. My food order seemed to be paced appropriately if not a little slow at the beginning for which the student serving me apologized with the busyness of the kitchen on a Friday.
I settled on a tomato-based broth soup and sliced beef appetizer to start, the catfish entree for a main, and a pair of favorite desserts — mango and sticky rice and fried banana with ice cream. The thermal heat with both my soup and catfish was reassuring. The soup had a light and refreshing flavor with properly cooked and portioned vegetables and chicken. The sliced beef appetizer tasted bright and fresh, however a sprinkling of some kind of nut prevented me from finishing the dish. I did not see any reference to nuts in the menu nor does the picture online seem to show nuts, so I thought my allergies were safe with this dish. Fortunately no health problems occurred, but I would have to remember to ask the staff in the future to be sure. The catfish was crispy, hot (both thermal and spicy), and moist inside. The curry was nicely mild, and the vegetable garnish was cooked well so some crispness remained. The desserts were both quite satisfying, especially the fresh and ripe mango and the fried banana. The ice cream was portioned generously with just the right amount of honey drizzle that avoided soaking the crisp banana.
The total cost for my meal came to $55 excluding tax and tip. I really enjoyed the family-run atmosphere and service combined with the fresh, bright flavors I come to anticipate when eating Thai cuisine. If not for the nuts in my appetizer, I would have nothing but an overwhelmingly positive recommendation. I would absolutely return if I were in Fairfax City or going/returning from an event at George Mason University, as this place places as a top Thai eatery for me.
Instead of experiencing restaurant “service” - I felt as if we were being graciously entertained by very capable hosts. I can’t wait to return and taste my way through the entire tantalizing menu of Thai dishes.
This is what a restaurant should be. Singular. Flavorful. Memorable.
Delicious! Great Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Generous servings, authentic taste and very kind staff. They even brought out a unicorn kid plate for my daughter to eat on- she loved dinner. We will be back!
Wonderful Thai place that I'll be visiting again! Owners were lovely and attentive and the food was amazing. We sat on the patio which was spacious and beautiful and loved seeing the owners not only interact with the dogs that people brought with them, but they also went out of their way to make them food so they could have a little dinner too. Really special spot.
Fantastic birthday dinner. Delicious food and even better service!
Delicious fresh food! They also went out of their way to make a kids plate for my daughter. Friendly staff, delicious food, can’t recommended highly enough!
My wife, a friend and I had lunch today at Courtside Thai. It was delicious, with friendly service and reasonable prices. And the municipal parking garage a block to the North always has space. Courtside is a local treasure!
This is a family run business and they serve authentic, delicious Thai food. We have not had a meal that was disliked. The wait staff is very friendly and there to serve your needs. If you are looking for authentic Thai, then Courtside Thai is where you want to dine. Strongly recommended.
The atmosphere is very nice and the food is good. But the Portions are to small for the price
Delicious Thai food, and very friendly staff. Service can be slower when super busy but well worth the wait
Best Thai food in Virginia, hands down. Gorgeous patio seating.
Great food, great service, fair prices. A good time and a great meal.
Very rude management!!!
Good food and atmosphere
It was okay food
One of my favorite Thai restaurants on the planet. You can never go wrong there with any of their dishes.
Love love love Courtside Thai. I go here semi-regularly and have dined in and gotten take out. The owners are super friendly and grow their own thai chilis in the garden surrounding the outdoor seating. Service can be quite slow when busy but the food is very good and the staff are very kind.
Most authentic Thai food I have ever tried in DMV. Lunch and dinner prices vary. High recommend to try on lunchtime.
I tried this place with my daughter and grandkids for the first time and I can't say enough about how attentive the staff were. The food was also fantastic. What can I say, great service, excellent food, I will be coming back for sure. If you are looking for a good place to eat in Old Fairfax be sure to give this gem a try.
Excellent drunken noodles and sticky mango rice
Such a great place. I’ve had dinner here a bunch and now late lunch.
Delicious food. Attentive service. And the courtyard is very cute.
Wonderful food, cute dog-friendly patio and nice staff!
The food, service, and ambiance is so lovely. The food is light and perfectly cooked, they take a lot of pride in using the best ingredients. And the people who run the restaurant and so incredibly friendly. Highly recommend the curry puff, the rainbow trout and the mango sticky rice!
Excellent Thai restaurant. The appetizers were very good and decent sized for sharing. The entrees from the favorites section were delicious... Great flavors with just the right spice!!
We absolutely love this place. It’s family owned and they are super friendly. The food is incredible and keeps us coming back for more again and again. They can handle large parties or an intimate date spot. You will not be disappointed.
Highly under-rated and a hidden gem in FAIRFAX CITY! Overall a good dining experience and authentic tasting cuisine.
We love Courtside Thai! Lovely owners, every dish is great and it’s family-friendly. We ate outside on a beautiful evening.
Always great food.
We love Sam and June that take care of us.
They know my order and are wonderful.
Very cute and tasty food
I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Outstanding food and decor. Nice outdoor seating.
Deliciously tasting food with great customer service! My family and I.
Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. The staff are also friendly and attentive.
Very good food and the owners are so nice!
5 well deserved stars. The food, atmosphere, service.. if I could give 10 stars I would. They are truly a family owned and operated establishment. Man, they are hard working but they remain so attentive and they seem to take pride in their business.
I'm so glad we found this restaurant right in our neighborhood!!
We'll be keeping Courtside as part of our regular Thai restaurants.
Fabulous and fresh Thai food!
I will definitely be back sooner than later. I don’t know which one was better the service or the food. AWESOME!
Pleasant food, friendly staff.
Definitely my favorite Thai place in Fairfax. Delicious food. Polite and attentive staff (a couple of whom are the owners). And really family friendly -- they always dote over our kids when we visit.
Convenient, quick Thai spot in Fairfax.
