This is Not Thai food. Drunken noodle dish was too salty and lacked flavor. It was almost like I was eating noodles with lots of soy sauce and oil. Will not be returning.

The place is close to the Avanti International Resort on International Drive. If you are staying at this excellent resort, you will be for sure intrigued by this restaurant. The Asian restaurant has bold flavors for their curries and smooth nutty taste for Pad Thai. We were amazed by taste of the food and the service provided. Although the food was little bit of on higher cost may be the visinity to Universal studios and all magical places in Florida! Nevertheless, I would say a must go places, as long as you can tolerate and enjoy the Asian cuisine. I will definitely visit this place with my family next time I am wondering around in Disney.

The food was genuinely amazing. The coconut lime soup (I forget the name because it was in Thai) is a must-try. It comes steaming, ignited in the center, and the soup is so comforting and flavorful. The entrees were extremely well done as well from the green curry to the noodles. Everything was cooked well and the food was extremely satisfying. The only recommendation I would give is to add black pepper to the food to give it an extra kick and complexity to the dish. We will fondly remember this food for a long time.

Mey was so sweet and nice! She made sure our food was just as we liked it. The food was good as well. We got the duck noodle soup, pad Thai, and crab fried rice. With the added chili, it was delicious. We got there around 4 and it wasn’t busy. There were I think other servers sitting around and talking while Mey was bussing tables and restocking everything herself. I was able to hear their conversations at my table. Overall a really nice place and I recommend Mey being your server!

In general we found it difficult to find good food in Florida. This place was really nice, friendly and reasonably priced. Nice little pitch and putt beside it too to walk off your dinner if you fancy.

We ordered their “Chief Special”red curry crispy duck dish and drunken noodle. The food is in big portions but very disappointing: the noodle was very soggy, stick together and broken into many small pieces; duck is cut so thick and the supposedly-crispy skin is also soggy, super hard to chew and swallow.

The worst part was the stomachache it gave me. I had the meal at 9pm and felt nauseous till I finally threw up 2 pieces of those duck at 3am. That was totally a nightmare.

I will warn everyone I know to avoid this restaurant.

Love this place! This is my go to Thai restaurant, and no matter what I order, it’s always a hit and never a miss. The food is always so fresh and savory with several vegetarian options and substitutions. The only reason it got a 4 and not a 5 is because it seemed like they really only had one waitress for the whole place.

We come here all the time and this has become our favorite Thai spot in Orlando. Food is consistently great every time and it’s nice to have open parking spots too. The pad prik took me back to flavors I used to have in Malaysia and the green curry was fantastic. They have halal options too, which is great!

This is the worst Thai place I have ever eaten. Food is overpriced and the volcano shrimp we ordered tasted like a rubber. On top of it they charged $35 for 6 jumbo shrimp. The waitress said it is a spicy dish and it turned out a sweet sauce dish . Even these guys are not confident about the chef specialties and cautioned us there won’t be any returns on these high priced dishes, this should be a big red flag for people who eat there .
Avoid this place it ruined our lunch experience.

Größere Gruppe leider 3 essen ungenießbar , bei einer sogenannten Curry Duck nur Reste mit minimal Fleisch der Rest irgendwas von dem Tier, hatten guten vergleich da das Gericht 3mal am Tisch. Auf nachfragen kam nur allen anderen schmeckt es bei uns. Der sogenannte Manager wollte erst gar nicht zum Tisch kommen. Auf Nachfrage ob man was am Preis machen kann ein ganz klares Nein. Abzoge ganz klar. Rest des Lokals ganz ok , sauber in Ordnung die Einrichtung, ist aber auch schon das beste am Laden. Zum Schluss am zum großen M da wir Hunger hatten. Lieber zum Steck essen gehen zahlt man etwas mehr aber ist satt. Finger weg von dem Lokal.

This was my first time visiting Cocoa Thai and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is clean and very spacious with friendly staff. The food was also delicious. We had the egg rolls and chicken wings for appetizers, with the shrimp fried rice and Pad Thai as our entrees. The portions didn't disappoint for the affordable price. We'd definitely go back when we're in town.

I come here every time we are in Orlando. Highly recommend the Tom Ka Gai soup and the shrimp in green curry with white rice.

The food is great. We went to Orlando for vacation, went to this thai place for dinner one night, and went back the next because it was so good. I love thai curries and I got the red and green at this place; both exquisite. The spice level was good and I love it extra spicy and they came out with this great tray that had Chili powder and chili oil! We also got the noodles both times and they were also great, but I didn't partake as much.

Drinks looked great but we didn't get any. Really cool cocktails and nice beer selection. Finally, the music was so awesome. The kpop was great!! Definitely come here yall, really awesome spot.

We came here about a year ago staying at universals surprise hotel. The area is nice beacuse everything is conveniently nearby. The food was amazing, the table and seats were extremely spacious even for a party of 2. The staff was incredibly nice. I highly recommend this restaurant and especially their Pad Thai!

I just landed in Orlando and fancied Thai food. The restaurant was buuuusssy, I was surprised on a Tuesday early evening 6 to 7pm.

My choice of food was soft shelled crab & chicken fried rice.

My first taste of my take away order in my hotel room was- mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I made a great choice of restaurant & menu choice.

A little pricey for 2 takeaway items approx. $35.
On my receipt it said the different suggested amounts of Tips.

My Server decided to underline with a pen the highest tip amount $7.68, really? Its only a takeaway, you just bagged it & gave it to me.

$5 is a sufficent enough tip on my terms.

Over the years that I have came here to eat, I enjoyed everything I tried out at Coco Thai and would really recommend many to try out the Pad Thai & the Fried Wontons.

I never really had Thai food before coming here so I was pretty excited to try it out. The restaurant had a nice and simplistic look which made it appeal to me. I ordered the pad thai and it was one of the best dishes I have tried. The service was really quick too as I only had to wait around 5-10 minutes for my food. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and I hope to come back again!

My family and I were really excited to eat here because we love Thai food. When we arrived, we waited 8 minutes to be greeted at the front, until someone came finally and cleaned off a table for us. The nice gentleman gave us our menus but that was pretty much it. We waited 14 minutes for someone to finally come and greet us but no one ever came. So we left. In between that time, I was trying to see if anyone ever made eye contact with us walking by but that didn’t happen. Also as we left, no one looked to see why we were leaving. The food on the menu looked delicious, sad we never tried it. I hope they are able to get this situation of not greeting the people at tables taken care of.

In most of the Thai places chicken is overcooked but it’s just perfect here.

Yesterday it was my birthday, and my husband did not come to our dinner plans at a restaurant nearby. I decided to stroll into Coco Thai after visiting the mini golf behind it. I came in 30 minutes before closing and was still accomodated with a smile. The server took note of my allergies and gave me great reccomendations. The service was very attentive and great. The dishes were hot and fresh and the ingredients were high quality. The chili oil is some of the best chili oil I've ever had, better than Lao Gan ma and Trader Joe's Chili Crisp. I got a huge container for only 8 dollars.
Most notably, when I let the server know it was my birthday, the manager brought a plate of mango sticky rice for free and they sang happy birthday to me. It was a such a great experience. I will always be grateful. Everyone should come to coco thai.

Me and my friends went there yesterday and we received a horrible customer service. Our foods were coming late and they were messing up our orders. Appetisers were being served after the entrees. One of my friends was being forced to pay for an appetiser she didn’t even receive. And when she tried to explain it to Liz the manager, Liz was very rude to her and was trying to make it look like my friend did not want to pay for it.

We did not expect this kinda service at Coco thai. Hopefully they will work on their staff and train them better to deal with such situations.

I recently visited Coco Thai with a party of 25, and it was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. Our orders were consistently mixed up, appetizers arrived after entrees, and our drinks were neglected. Despite numerous inquiries about my missing appetizer.
To make matters worse, when the check came, I was charged for the appetizer I never received. Manager Liz displayed a dismissive attitude, demanding someone had to pay for it with a power trip. I was trying to explained the error but she adamantly demanded payment, even though I never received my food. She said well someone had to cover this! Like come on it was $8 and our total bill for the table for more than $900 plus and they added gratuity on top.
I urge the owners and higher management to reconsider having Liz represent Coco Thai, as her handling of customers leaves a bad taste! This is not the level of service one expects from a restaurant of this caliber.
As a fellow business owner, I emphasize the importance of customer relations and hope for improvements at Coco Thai.

This is a great Thai restaurant!

Great place with very well seasoned and oriental food. delicious starters, very interestingly served soups and main courses. These flavours are impossible to forget. I would definitely go back there! Nearby beats all the restaurants in the area.

Only the atmosphere and service is good. The management is very rigid and restrictive. They will not take any suggestions or approve any alterations to the dish. Their mantra is “ this is how make it, eat it or leave “. They will not accommodate you at all. Also the pricing is high. The curries are very watery,. Good bye coco, not seeing u again.

Lovely Halal Thai food! Basil Chicken was awesome, massanman curry was a bit of a let down, but still very edible. Portion size was generous, we had leftovers. Super friendly and efficient service. Great ambience. Overall highly recommend!

I'll start with what's good: the atmosphere is nice, trendy and clean.

The food was ok, but my noodles had the consistency of being improperly cooked and then later microwaved maybe...all clumped together on one side, chewy, and parts were tough. Why didn't I say anything? Well, see below.

Service: our server, May, was beyond inattentive. She took our drink order, brought us water, and then took our food order. We didn't see her again until she brought the check. We needed drink refills, we had to ask other employees. We needed peanut sauce, same thing. Etc. We observed our server milling about, looking out the front doors, and at times was completely missing. She attended to the table to my left a few times, but never cleared our plates, never checked on us, it was awful. Then, as seen in the photo, solicited the highest tip recommended on the receipt.

Needless to say, I'll never go back.

Sometimes it is the smallest thing to check a restaurant down. Coco is a fancy Thai restaurant. We got to choose a booth, we made an order and asked for water only. I do like a lot of water with my food. When my glass was empty, the waiter came to the booth next to us, twice, but missed us. After a long wait, I asked for my glass to be filled. He walked away, after what feels a long time he came back with water. Put it on the table across from us and greeted the new arrival of customers, took them to a table and helped them out. After again what feels like a long time the waiter comes back fills my water. Keep in mind that I am eating my food while waiting. This took all enjoyment out of good food. Sad.

The staff is super friendly, fast service and excellent tasting food! We love this restaurant!

Poor quality, almost tasteless food without any spice/flavor even through specifically hot requested. Had the Ginger Chicken which was undercooked. Thai ice tea was way too sweet and mango sticky rice had a small piece of mango.
2 waiters were overwhelmed by just 5 parties eating. 4 people cooking in the kitchen, don’t understand the poor quality of food and service.

Very quick service, was convenient as I was rushing to catch a flight. Food was great with wonderful flavors. Ordered the Veg Fried Rice, Chicken Satay and Red Curry. Definitely recommend!

First and foremost, let me begin by saying that Cocoa Thai has been my family’s favorite go-to spot for an authentic Thai cuisine experience. Their Tom Yum Kung gives Thailand flashbacks as soon as you encounter the aroma of their dishes. The environment is welcoming and friendly, and their servers always have the most beautiful energy and smiles. This restaurant welcomes you with open arms like family and if you have any questions about ANYTHING on the menu, they are more than happy to give you suggestions. This place is a 10/10 and I would highly recommend.

P.S. if you need a little more kick in your food, ask them for the spice rack so that you can add a little more spice.

Also their drinks are delicious and fairly priced. Their lychee martini is a must-try 😍

Ate here while traveling for business. Had the red curry. Overall very good experience. Curry was very good, home style, served in a unique manner. Somewhat expensive ($20 for bowl of red curry with chicken, not inc tax or tip). Not a bad deal for location though.

Great food! They also did a great job of accommodating food allergies. Was really busy so service a little slow to start but overall a great place. Would recommend and would return! 😊
