Ordered thai green curry tofu and red curry tofu for lunch . Soup was cold and it felt like just water and it was served in tiny tiny cup . Curries quality was also too small for lunch portions. Taste of red curry was better than green curry. Green curry just tasted like water , may be because i asked for medium spice .Ambiance and restaurant looks good . Will i go again , no ..
Best Thai Tea I've had in Virginia - these are often ordered 2 at a time, because one is never enough. You have to find your dish. After a few visits, I found that the Kua Gai Noodles (pictured) are my favorite (spice added on the side as a preference). The Tom Yum soup is also great (very sour, it hits the spot!), and the service is also quick and friendly. Give them a shot!
I ate here once, probably back in 2015 and recalled it being “just ok” but nothing spectacular. Since it was so long since the last time I was here, I tried it again recently and got carry-out. We tried Pad Prik Khing and Kra Pow, as well as some Ton Yum.
The Tom Yum was decent, nicely spiced and tasted fresh. The stir fried dishes were really bland-looking, the sauce looked very clear, not tinted with spice, like we’re used to seeing. The flavor was ok, but not very rich and deep. Their basil fried rice was decent though.
Overall, seems not much has changed since the last time I tried their food… doubt I’ll return.
Very Bad service 😒, we were the only table sitting in the whole restaurant and waitress never greeted us on arrival, we had to ask her table of two, she said sit anywhere it's empty, when she came to the table to take order ,there were no greetings, just took the order with a attitude 😉, and left. Someone else brought the food, but our waitress never came to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. When my water glass finished, I had to go to her with my empty glass to ask for a refill and ask for a water glass for my wife. The whole time, she was busy on her phone sitting in an eye distance from us busy on it. I also ashed her why she was so upset and was she working since morning and was she tired and didn't want to be here.. she said only for the past 5 hours. I also noticed that they are getting lots of take put orders and people don't eat at the restaurant, now I know why, food I'd is good and service is not.
If you want a sit-down experience, this is not a place to be.
The food was good, the bartenders didn't know how to make the drinks. The place was empty, now I know why. We ordered drunken noodles, and fried flounder. Drunken noodles was $25 and the flounder $45. WHAT??? Market place we pay average $20 at any restaurant with sides. This had no sides. No thanks, it was good, but not that good. We will take our business else where.
Solid Thai place to eat after we visting the temple from out of town. Restaurant looks pretty new and is very clean. Curry and Pad See Ew were tasty. Thom Yum was decent along with the fried rice. They also made my mother Lad Na, which wasn't on the menu. Looked like a full service bar as well, which you don't usually see. Would eat again to try a new dish if back in town.
Thai Peppers is my go to lunch spot!
I put my order in through their website and it's ready for me to pick up in 15 minutes or less (it was 10 today).
There's usually a few patrons in there (I've never seen it crowded), and it's super quiet. It's actually a good place to have a nice, solitary lunch if that's your thing.
The very generous portion of basil fried rice (Thai hot ) was delicious as always.

Terrible, food is microwaved proportions couldn’t satisfy my 2yr old

My boyfriend and I ordered chicken fried rice and most of the chicken was raw. My boyfriend unknowingly ate a piece before we figured out it was raw and he forced himself to throw up. We will not be ordering from here again.
Delicious! The flavors and spices are incredible. We had the the shrimp drunken noodles, beef krapow, and seafood paradise. The service was kind and very attentive. Looking forward to going here again with friends and family to try new things.
I ordered the Pho for delivery and it was not worth the money I spent for it!! Nothing but noodles, beef, broth 🤷🏾. I'm use to the works with PHO never again!!!
Just wanted to give a shout out to Thai Peppers because my friends and I weren't paying attn and stayed way past their closing. They never once approached us or rushed us. We didn't realize until we left that they were closed. We feel horrible for keeping the employees-- we were just enjoying our meal so much that we didn't notice. This is a business that is truly customer focused. Thanks!
The food is good for what it is. A fast casual Thai place. I would not recommend the lunch specials as it’s less food for similar price and thrown together. I do appreciate that this place is here in an area with lots of chain restaurants.
They hired a group of very rude teenagers to run the FOH. They continuously get our order wrong and are snippy over the phone and even ruder in person.
Food - Portions are REALLY small for how much they charge. Drunken noodles were dry. Fried rice had too much fish sauce. Overall, the food was not up to par.
Service - service isn't very good. They don't bring all the food together. Brought desert before an entre. No water refills or enough silverware without asking multiple times.
Atmosphere - It was alright. Small space. You can hear everyone around you.
I can't imagine what ThaiX2 spice is. If you're a spice champ do it. If you love spice but still want to enjoy the food part thai spice, reg. So delicious!!! I love spices that push me. Im doing x2 next time! The wonton soup is banging. The Chicken friend rice is so fresh. 🔥 This is a hit. Going to be a regular, for sure
The price to the portion of food and overall taste was not proportional.
Stir fried rice with beef, three shrimps, 3 cuts of tomatoes, 1/8th of an onion and 3 gallons of sweet soy sauce should not cost 26 dollars!!!
Honestly this is wild, they charged $19 for pho, not good, literally half the amount of broth and came with no fixings unlike virtually everywhere else. Just noodles, half broth.
Do not get the coconut shrimp. It’s 95% breading and gross. The shrimp itself was dry and awful.
I feel like I was robbed at lunch today.
Never. Again.
Ordered via door dash and the food exceeded my expectations in taste.
The food was disgusting. We through it out. It had no taste and the texture was like rubber.
This location has good tasting food, a Great Staff, and a quiet cozy atmosphere.
Fantastic food and staff!
Best Pa-Nag I've ever had!
Crsipy duck is insanely good, as are the drunken noodles (seafood). We've never had a bad experience here. The service is friendly and attentive without smothering. Nice laid back atmosphere. Best Thai in the area.
We have been going to Thai Peppers since they opened. It's always like going to see family when we dine in. We have never been disappointed with anything we have gotten here. My husband always gets the Pad Thai, kids love duck basil, and I always get the PadSeeEw. Steak Salad is yummy and the duck roll and curry puff is delish!!! I 100% recommend Thai Peppers!
Not sure what’s happening with this place, it used to be good but not this time, the Pha thai tasted burnt, no flavor. The coconut shrimp was slightly burnt and to much breading.
The place looked dirty, tables weren’t set up, we had to wait for silverware and bread plates for our appetizer long after they bought out the appetizer. Service was poor.
Not going back, unfortunately!
The food is VERY good which is why I've continued to come back here after MANY experiences with the wait staff that were less than good.
My girlfriend and I were scheduled to have dinner here 8/3/2023 but a unscheduled family emergency cancelled our plans so I ordered take out instead.
My girlfriend was able to temporarily have her situation handled so texted me to ask if we could still meet for dinner. I told her I had already ordered but agreed to meet her. When I got there she had told the wait staff that my to go order should be plated so we could eat together.
Nobody came to our table. Nobody asked if we wanted anything to drink. Nobody gave us silverware. We sat their awkwardly until our food arrived. The food did NOT arrive with customary water or silverware. The person who dropped our food off indicated that they would get water and silverware but they did NOT. We sat for 5 minutes watching our food get cold. Admittedly I walked to the bar area to get the attention of the wait staff a little frustrated.
I asked for silverware and was greeted coldly with a "She (her coworker) was going to bring it with your water!" I let her know that we'd been waiting for quite a while and that our food was sitting there getting cold. I also expressed my frustration that we weren't given drinks or silverware before our food arrived. As I walked away, the person who I had addressed said, "Well, YOU ordered on..." and stopped. I walked back up to the counter and said, "Excuse me, What was that?" and she said "Nothing."
I was a little bit of a "Karen", admittedly, but it was because I was worried about my girlfriend's situation, and that every time I come here, I'm treated rudely. I hate that customer service has gone out the window and that when you attempt to raise a concern, that the folks that work in the service industry attempt to BEAT you instead of address your concern, and deal with you as their customer. This has happened too many times for me to come back now. I will miss the yumminess.
Perhaps you can deal with bad customer service because of how good the food is, but I can't.
I have been to almost all the best Thai restaurants between pinto Thai in culpeper and Thai restaurants in DC. Pinto Thai being my favorite.
We ordered a couple pad Thais and were shocked to learn that they had no flavor and looked as though they would have no flavor. Very frustrating.
Stopped by here with my boyfriend about 2 weeks ago and it has been one of the best Thai place we’ve tried in the area. When I said that Thai Spicy was SPICY! I mean it! They have a nice little patio. The staff was great!
Pad Thai was as stick as glue. Duck Roll appetizer was okay except I don't know why they put cucumbers in it and sliced only part of the way. My partner liked their dish Kra Pow with duck.
Ordered the Thai phō and requested extra bean sprouts & green onions and didn’t get any at all. Also ordered the seafood paradise and it came with one scallop and of the three mussel shells in the dish, there were only 2 mussels. We might try this again and I’ll update this review if there’s an improvement.
The food was terrible tasted like someone peed in it to we all got food poisoning and spent the night in the hospital STAY AWAY and they charge tip by themselves you don’t get a chance to put in your tip they will tip themselves
I’ve been ordering from here for years and truly love their Thai fried rice. The portions are generous and the flavor is ALWAYS on point. The staff is incredibly polite and kind, with great knowledge on the flavors & awesome recommendations.
The food is good.
When you order food barely put some meat or sea food this place need to put some more meat on orders
Excellent local Thai, the food was flavorful and delivered quickly. One point of note though, when they say it's spicy it's definitely spicy. Still tastes amazing, but hot. I will definitely keep this in the rotation. Just maybe go "hot" as the top spicy instead of "Thai."
Delicious food perfect portions and nice place
I had a Massaman curry chicken. I ordered the curry extra spicy and that is exactly what I had got. Although there was a considerable amount of heat, the dish itself was horribly bland. The rice was totally tasteless as well. I had asked for extra lettuce and they had given me a roughly chopped piece of romaine lettuce on the side. Overall the presentation was very poor and the taste was not much better. The only I’m giving it two stars is because of the proper spice level in the chicken.
Expensive!!!! But delish!!
There are much better thai restaurants in the area. Ordered the pad thai. Didn’t look or taste like it. Very small portions. Unimpressed
Green curry with chicken was amazing. Get some extra jasmine rice and a Thai iced tea... So good for lunch.
Decent restaurant with reasonable prices. I would have liked my food to have more flavor.
Very nice Thai restaurant located in Bristow Center shopping area. The space is small and sparsely decorated, yet clean and comfortable. The service is pleasant and helpful. The menu is fairly typical for a Thai restaurant in America. The dishes are very well prepared and presented, and quite delicious. Although not perfectly authentic, having a lot of sauce and a bit of sweetness that most Americans seem to like and expect, they do a very good job of representing Thai food in their style of preparation and flavors. One exception is the Crispy Duck with Basil which pleasantly had more of a glaze than a sauce. Everything is served hot and fresh using quality ingredients. Definitely worth trying to get your Thai fix in.
Take this as a warning before going here.
The portions are small. The ingredients are not very good quality and the service is very lackluster. And they seem to think that using whatever vegetables are the cheapest can be thrown into their food... Not traditional to say the least...
We went here on Sunday August 14th at around 5:00 p.m. for dinner with two adults and three kids, before going to see the imagine dragons show at the jiffy lube live venue.
The only example I'll give is my drunken noodle dish... Take this across all the menu items as we ordered a variety...bill was $138 for two adults and three kids.. before tip...
So it's not like we didn't spend some money and order more food than we should have needed to... So we thought...
... Entree's are the portion size of an appetizer, the ingredients were not traditional nor acceptable...
They had a few slices of red and green pepper and some onion and then to my surprise as the pile of noodles shrunk... I found romaine lettuce thrown in to fluff up the bottom of the bowl. There were not a lot of noodles nor chicken. Not a whole lot of flavor either...
I don't know what the people in bristow think is good thai... but having been to Thailand and lived in Northern Virginia, New York and other places, this is not good Thai food. For the prices they charge the shrinkflation of the portion size is too evident.
The entrees were served in what basically would be considered a soup bowl. The appetizers were all very small, and just not very much thought or execution with anything that we ordered.
I would say skip this place if there's something else you can get to. And I really am not trying to be over critical.
It's just between the slow disorganized service and the lack of quality and the small portion size, I think this review is just honest.
A lot of restaurants are coming to an end at some point sooner than later, as people wake up and recognize that the cost of dining out for what you get now is just not worth it, if you know how to even boil water...
We ordered 2 meals and we ordered the combo only to learn combo does not mean chicken, beef and shrimp, it means chicken and beef. The chicken and beef were extremely dry on both meals. I got the Pad Thai, which did not taste like Pad Thai.. I don't know if it was the beef added, but it was not good. It was 20 a meal for a lunch portion of not great food! Very disappointed. I will not be going back!
Ordered chicken satay yesterday. They cut the chicken in half on the stick anc charged more. Not going back, mum mum near George mason is better .
Yummm! The food was soo good we will order again
Disappointing service, food taste and ambiance. Used to really enjoy this place, not sure what has happened.
Food is phenomenal, I swear I ordered like half the menu for family. They are very attentive and food was amazing. Hit the spot after craving Thai 😻❤ Hidden gem in Bristow!
Delicious and different! "Traditional" Thai food, but also some interesting and tasty unique dishes.
I had pad Thai with chicken and shrimp with extra veggies, not on the menu but my favorite, was awesome! Husband had Crispy Duck, he liked his as well, probably will request a little more spice next time. Mango sticky rice was great too!!
my go to thai restaurant for some good chicken pad thai
We had the massaman curry, and it was lacking flavor. I've been eating this for several years from different restaurants, and this tasted like they ran out of coconut milk, and they added water. This dish is the basic start off dish to see if a restaurant had potential, and it failed. It was very watered down.
Soup 🍲 was delicious.
Great Thai food that's really conveniently located for me. I've never been disappointed with them.
Decent Thai food. Some of their menu items remind me of flavors in Thailand. The curries are very tasty.
Amazing food! Highly recommend this location over their others. Gang Ped Yang for the win!
Nice looking Restaurant. Good behavior. Veggie fried rice did have enough vegetables , just few onions, one little tomato piece and few tiny pieces of carrots. Taste of the fried rice was good. Please add more veggies to make it better.
Reasonably priced and great food. Try the curry puffs. They are amazing.
We ordered 2 drunken noodles, pad Thai and Thai Fried rice. My husband has never had Thai food and I wanted to introduce him to the layers of flavor Thai cuisine offers. The fried rice he said was bland and even though tomatoes were listed on the menu as part of the dish, he had none. He also could not taste the Thai basil. When I looked at his food it looked like it was day old fried rice. All the other food was good.
Very flavorful Thai food. Perfect level of spices. Best Thai food I've had in 17 years!
Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly!
Very delicious though the portions are quite small.
Really dissappointed and I hate leaving negative reviews. But I feel like I need to save folks some money and time with a transaction at this location. I have not eaten here since before "Covid" and the food was good back then. I enjoyed my meals. But today, not so much. The Curry Puffs seriously tasted wrong and were over cooked. The duck in the duck roll was dry. My brother's fish was over done and the drunken noodle was also subpar, even the Thai Tea was overly sweet and its already a sweet beverage.
Had this been the first time Id eaten here I would assume that was just thier standard. Though, since I have eaten here so many times prior to the onset of 2020, I am sure something has changed. They are not good anymore. They are really pretty bad. I wont be eating here again.
I gave two stars because the young lady who took my order and gave me my order on arrival was super sweet, courtesy and helpful. But the food, not good and considering I paid $60, it was just a dissappointment.
Hopefully they will make improvements and not rest on thier laurels of the past positive feedback and reviews. Because they have changed and not for the better.
I have been ordering their fried rice for years it is so delicious! Today I tried the Phad Thai and it was also equally good!! Wonderful restaurant and staff, you will not be disappointed
Love Thai Peppers. Their food is fantastic. They'll also reduce the heat on several dishes in case you can't handle "thai hot."
This is a regular spot we love and has been really amazing during tough these tough times. Food is always hot and delicious. Pad Thai and Tom-Kha soup are amazing. Drunken noodles are also a family favorite. Very consistent service. Food is usually ready right when I get there for take out.
Good food but rude employees. I've been there three times and each time they've acted like they're doing me a favor by taking my money.
We just moved nearby and were VERY excited to be so close to a Thai place. Ordered tonight and was not thrilled. $30 for THIS!? Pretty overpriced for drunken noodles and chicken pad Thai. Was expecting a bigger portion than this for the price. Yikes
My whole family - husband, 7 year old, and 4 year old - LOVES Thai Peppers! The food is unmatched - best in the area! My son loves the spring rolls. My daughter loves the Pad Thai. My husband gets the Thai Basil Rice. And, I usually get the Drunken Noodles. Great soup, too! We love that the pick up is no - contact! We feel at peace knowing we are limiting our interaction with so many people during this time!
Customer service totally lacking. Both employees we saw just seemed not to care. It seemed even a simple “ thank you” was too tough to utter.
We tried the duck basil - absolute worst we have ever had ..
Meat was mushy and had a weird smell.
Long story short, won’t be going back.
Always Great food!
Flavors could be better balanced and the price is a tad steep. Some appetizers are premade frozen dishes. However they are the only thai restaurant in nokesville and they are passable with a fairly creative menu from the standard.
Best curry puffs on the east coast.
The food is delicious I haven’t tried a bad thing!
Great food, great service
Great authentic Thai food. The restaurant design is nice with a bar and TV. The dishes we ordered were fresh, delicious, and Thai spicy. Fast service given, we were one of the two tables in the middle of the day. We spent $60 on four plates not to include tip. A tad pricey for a two people. I give it a 4 star review because its got an old carpet. I am a returning customer, most of the time we take out. Just cant afford to eat at this restaurant on a daily or weekly. Its a nice occasional treat with friends and family.
Very pleasant, food was tasty. Had one of the lunch specials
Delicious!!
Thai Peppers is one of the best Thai restaurants I have had. The staffs are friendly and the food come out fast. Crispy Shrimp and Duck Basil are the best but if anyone like spicy Drunken noodle is on the top list, this is the right place to get your Thai hot level if you wish.
The food is always good and the staff are friendly
Excellent food but small portions
Best Thai food with the most wonderful staff
Food was pretty good. However upon coming into the restaurant with my sister, we were met with the employees being visibly upset that we were sitting in the restuarant to eat. By far some of the worst service I've received. If you are going to eat here, order out.
The food here is so good and the service is very prompt and friendly. I ate the Massaman and my husband the Panang Curry. Both dishes were flavorful and filling. For us, it is worth the drive out to eat there.
Ordered the green payapa salad and the pad thai. Both excellent as was the service.
Delicious
Food was absolutely amazing!! Portions are a little smaller than local competitors but Thai Peppers is by far the best! First time ordering & I will definitely be a returning customer! The pineapple fried rice was delicious!
Awesome food. Horrible service. I gave them the benefit of doubt a few times. But it seems to be a pattern. Different customers get treated differently. May be they want to serve only a certain category of people. I am disgusted with their service. So if you want great food and wanted to be treated like trash, then you can try this place
Good food but they can do better with customer service.
Always solid, friendly service, fresh food.
Delicious and very polite and detail oriented staff. Always a pleasure. My go to is always the lunch portion of Pad Thai
Food is amazing, wait staff is very kind, wife loves the drunken noodles I like the pad thai. Excellent food. Never had a bad meal.
There was a wide variety of lunch specials, which are tasty, affordable and very quickly prepared. Plus, the top notch service makes this a nice spot to grab a quick bit to eat.
Pad see ew was good but expected more broccoli. Spring rolls quite good, appreciated the fact that they were served cut into halves, making them easier to enjoy. Looking forward to returning.
Very good food and service
Had the Pad Thai noodles. It was awsome!!!
Very clean establishment, includes bathrooms. Coconut milk soup is as good as it gets. Had red curry with chicken, not to spicy, actually it was perfect for me. I'd give ten stars if I could, you won't be disappointed.
Only Pad Thai I will eat.
Very good service. Very good food. Really liked the place. It has a small seating area, but it was clean and comfortable.
Owner is exceptional here. She really cares about her customers experiences. Food is decent, but not very spicy even though menu states it is. Service is good. Drinks could be better.
Many varieties to choose from. Reasionable price
Food is average portion is small and delivery for dinner is slow. Although eggplant was good just have to tell the cook not to overcook the meat.
Really good Thai cuisine at a reasonable price.
Really good thai food
If you like Thai Food it is great, good service. A bit pricey on the drinks, but aren't they All??
Been going for years. We always get good service and the food is consistently good.
The food here is incredibly delicious! NP6 is my absolute favorite, and my fiance loves the Drunken Noodles. We usually get take out but, we have been here to eat a few times, and the food is even better right out of the kitchen. The service is always friendly and happy too!
Every now and then the consistency of the dishes varies, never any less delicious, but you can tell different cooks are doing their own thing here and there.
Great place to eat some Thai food!
Loved it!
Amazing food and good customer service.
Best Thai is Bristow!
Excellent food, fast service and great Mai Tai
Our favorite place for curry! It's so good and I dont want to even eat at other Chinese restaurants cuz their food is poopy compared to the thai pepper locations. A little pricey for dinner stuff but I dont care cuz your not getting that quality of food anywhere else. Lunch specials are where it's at!
Amazingness!!! Can't wait to come back!!! Sorry other Thai places that i have been so loyal to until now. But, a girl's gotta do, what a girl's gotta do!!! My new go to place, for my favorite cuisine!!
Unlike any other.
Lol this place is sooo go, I’m crying!! Haha get it, cuase my name?! Anyways it’s really good, half of my family is Thai and it tastes just like when my family cooks it!!! It’s awesome, I recommend you try the new special, you may not heard or WANT to try it but, trust me, if you just give it a shot....you’ll love it just like me!
I love their food, tastes sooo homemade!! I absolutely love it and definitely recommend it to EVERYONE!!
Very good drunken noodles and spicy beef salad.
Great food and service.
Really yummy food. The drunken noodles come with a very thick noodle which is packed with flavor. The food was pretty good and I'd come back, however, it didn't get a 5 star because I've certainly had better Thai. Still very good!! The Pad Thai looked amazing and I regretted not trying it.
Pretty good place! We have gone here several times, and the food has always been quite tasty, freshly made, and in decent proportions. Most dishes are not overly spicy, so new palates can learn a wide variety of flavors. It's not often busy, so most staff can be attentive.
Don’t know if management changes, but this used to be a great place for authentic Thai food. Dined there today for Mother’s Day dinner, but someone’s service dog was allowed to sit at the table (on the booth seat) right next to me. We asked to make our order to go and why (management didn’t care). We get home to eat an hour later and found hardly any jasmine rice for 2 orders of yellow chicken curry... and the curry was thin like soup. So disappointing because this place used to have good service and great food.
