An amazing experience at this Thai restaurant - came here for dinner! The ambiance was impeccable and the staff was phenomenal and very attentive! I was seated immediately after arriving - I ordered the Thai Tea, Spring Rolls and and sweet analogy chicken with rice! The food is very delicious with lots of flavor.. great establishment and I will be back!
An incredible dining experience at a beautifully decorated Thai restaurant located in downtown Arlington. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, with tasteful decor that truly sets the mood for a delightful meal. The location is convenient and easy to find, making it a perfect spot for a night out.
One of the highlights of my visit was the Thai iced tea. It was perfectly brewed, with just the right amount of sweetness and a creamy texture that made it absolutely refreshing. It was, hands down, one of the best I’ve ever had.
As for the food, the Thai treasure Pad Thai and Pineapple Fried Rice were both outstanding.
The Pad Thai had a perfect balance of flavors, with tender noodles, fresh vegetables, and a hint of tanginess from the tamarind sauce. The only weird part was the addition of Gouda cheese which did not enhance the dish for me.
The Pineapple Fried Rice was a delightful mix of sweet and savory, with juicy pineapple chunks, crunchy cashews, and perfectly cooked rice.
The sticky rice dessert was the best I've ever tasted. It was perfectly sweetened and paired beautifully with the fresh mango slices. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that left me wanting more.
I wish I had a bigger appetite to try more items from their extensive menu. Each dish that passed by looked incredibly tempting, and I can’t wait to return and explore more of their offerings. This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves Thai cuisine.
We went here for my friends birthday during the lunch time on a weekday. The lunch menu was really affordable and comes with an entree and an appetizer. Would come again

Thai Treasure is a culinary gem that shines brightly in the constellation of local eateries. This isn't just another Thai restaurant; it's a vibrant homage to the rich tapestry of Thai cuisine, served up in a modern setting that's as inviting as a warm smile. With service that makes you feel like royalty, it's no wonder this place has become a treasure trove for those in search of flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Thailand.
Our culinary expedition began with the Crab Rangoon, a playful yet sophisticated take on the classic appetizer. The delicately crispy pouches served with a side of sweet & sour sauce were a surprisingly great way to start the meal, much better than what we typically think of. It's a dish that says, "Welcome to flavor town, population: you."
Then came the Lava Beef, a dish so sizzling, it could melt even the coldest of hearts. The combination of beef, onion, bell peppers, and pineapple, all lovingly tossed in a honey pepper sauce and kissed by sesame oil, was a sweet and savory ballet that pirouetted right onto our taste buds. It wasn't just hot; it was volcanic, in the best possible way.
The journey continued with Pad Kee Mao, also known as Drunken Noodles. This dish, with its wide rice noodles, onion, bell peppers, tomato, and basil, was like a late-night adventure in Bangkok--bold, spicy, and utterly unforgettable. It's the kind of dish that makes you want to dance in the rain, or at least order another round.
Speaking of rounds, the Panang Chicken Curry was a knockout. The spicy, rich curry, infused with the zest of kaffir lime and studded with bell peppers and broccoli, was a masterclass in balance and flavor. It was like a hug from an old friend who just happens to be a Thai spice merchant--warm, comforting, and slightly spicy.
And let's not forget the cocktails and classic beverages, a liquid odyssey that's as daring as it is delicious. Thai Treasure's beverage menu is a treasure map that leads to bliss, with each drink more inventive and refreshing than the last. It's the perfect complement to a meal that's already overflowing with flavor and fun.
In essence, Thai Treasure is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Thai culture, cuisine, and conviviality. With its modern vibe, exceptional service, and a menu that's both adventurous and authentic, it's a place where every meal feels like a fantastic discovery.
I visited Thai Treasure twice for dinner in the last week and both times were great experiences. The staff are truly friendly as well as professional. The space itself is upper scale in the decor. I really like that the food menu specified the region of Thailand it originates from. The bar area is the perfect size to fit the restaurant and has two televisions. I noticed top shelf liquors and somewhat unobtainium like Blantons easily seen on the shelves. I ordered a classic Old Fashioned and it was exactly as I would expect....delicious. My husband ordered "The Dude" and it was also very good. The steamed dumplings were the perfect appetizer for two....though one extra dumpling to make it an even six would have been even better. We ordered the Pad Thai and Lava Beef for entrees. Both were very flavorful and complimented the sweet and savory cravings we came in to satisfy. We would definitely come back. The location is decent for street parking and was not crowded for an early dinner on a Saturday night. Thanks for a great experience! :-)
Food is good but the spice level is very inconsistent!
We’ve ordered pickup multiple times. First at spice level 3 and it had no spice. Then 4 and it was still pretty mild.
So this time we tried one dish at spice 5 and they just dumped 2-3 tbsp of red chili flakes on top! It was inedible! The jump from spice 4 to 5 is crazy.
The food is pretty good most of the time, just wish they were more consistent.
Family owned and operated with street parking right out front! What more could you ask for? Well, it gets better so stay in your seat! They have DAILY specials and happy hour as well.
We had dinner here and it was phenomenal and got to meet the super sweet owner and her amasing daughters who both operate the restaurant and bar. I HIGHLY reccomend The special TT pad Thai, it was extremely delicious with mum's chili oil. 10/10
Tom Kha soup: 10/10 it was perfect for a rainy day and loved it with some rice
Nature roll: a summer roll with tofu 9/10
Lava beef: sautéed beef, peppers and pineapple 9/10 I really loved the pineapple together with the beef
Satay chicken skewers: 10/10 JUICY & DELISH
Passionate drink:10/10 absolutely loved it and was so cute
Thai tea: a classic and sooooo good
Overall will 100% be back here. It was great food, aesthetically pleasing and very easy to get to/from the highway.

I eat here all the time, and their food is delicious. But this weekend I got the second worse food poisoning of my life (1st was bad sushi at another restaurant). But I was throwing up for 2 days straight and using the bathroom even when I ate a piece of bread. It happened in the same night, so I had not consume anything in between, and didn’t eat anything earlier that day. I don’t know if it is a one-off as they were busy, but I write this review hoping they will follow cleanliness protocol and cook food thoroughly as I think one of those reasons is why I had food poisoning. I’m nervous about going back.
Great food, friendly staff. Haven't tried anything I wouldn't recommend.
I picked up carrot so i can’t speak to the atmosphere. Everything was hot and fresh.
Friends and I visited. We were VERY disappointed after reading such good reviews I was QUITE disappointed. Go to a different Thai restaurant if you want pad Thai or pad see ew. Steer clear and don't say I didn't warn you.
Short hair woman manager is so rude and she dropped sodas on the floor. Then she tried to give that sodas to customer. Unprofessional!!!
Server was rude. Short man with mustache. He has to learn how to communicate with customers.
We ordered chx panaan and a crispy duck dish (Kapow). The duck might as well have been mystery meat. The panaan was tasty but more chx, peppers, etc. were expected (Thai Noy, which does not deliver, more generous w chx). Plus one tiny rice for two dishes that included rice - sigh.
Love this place! Go to when I’m in Arlington. All of the noodle dishes are amazing. Can’t go wrong with the red or green curry, and the fresh rolls are MASSIVE. A mini meal!

Red curry dish was delicious!

the food is hit or miss. I’ve had the fried rice, chicken red curry and chicken wings. The fried rice and chicken wings were great! The curry has been bland each time. Almost watered down. Do not go here for green or red curry. This is not their speciality and it will be have almost no flavor/taste to it.
Delicious! The beef fried rice was excellent and the spice tray had crunchy garlic that was amazing. Will go back for sure if I'm in the area again. Think I'll try the duck next time.
Delightful, scrumptious, reasonably priced and worthy of repeat home delivery treat.

Excellent lunch special
Delicious lunch menu with great portions for only 12.50!
Great atmosphere , good food and great service. We will be back.
The food was very good and the wings are slow build on the spice level. The fried rice is simple and not overly salty which is quite nice.
Delicious food and great atmosphere for a great price!
Go to lunch spot when I’m at work! The food is always great, very friendly staff, and good vibes!!!
The food is spectacular and the service is amazing. I will definitely be coming back again.
Came in on a Thursday night, and had a lovely meal! Service was great, and I would come back.
I stumbled upon this restaurant on a day after work. I have honestly been coming in everyday for a month. The service is great! I walked in, was greeted by Francis and then seated. Francis and Nui go above and beyond when providing great service. I have tried so many delicious things on the menu. The miso soup, firecracker shrimp, beef basil fried rice, and a few other delicious items on the menu are amazing. I must say I'm not typically in to Thai everyday but this food is something special! I've even had friends meet me here to try the food. They love it too!!! I've more recently had the privilege of trying a possible new menu item and it was so good and decadent! I can rave on and on about this restaurant. You definitely have to come and experience all of the treats for yourself! And yes, there is social distancing due to Covid-19. I will say keep up the great work guys!!!
Excellent service & the food was delicious.
Really great experience during our stay in DC.
I love coming to this place for happy hour! They have special cocktails that rotate new drinks all the time, so I get a chance to try something new with each visit. The vibe is fantastic—perfect for hanging out with friends or a loved one. The food is also great! I love Claypot steak. The Krab Rangoon is the best I’ve ever had.
Our go-to place for Thai food. Good stuff! Lunch special is a good value too. Had the mango mocktail and thought it was great.
We always go here for our Thai food date nights! Love the fried rice dishes and pad Thai! Love the vibe and the restaurant interior is super cool.

High quality food at a reasonable price. Not overly blown away, but better than other Thai takeout. Main disappointment is that their own ordering website portal lets you indicate food allergies when ordering any dish - making it seem that dishes can be modified to meet the dietary requirement. That is not the case. Part of our order was not prepared because it contained my allergy and I had marked that on the order. While they did attempt to call to inform us in a timely manner, we missed it, and had to wait for a different menu item to be prepared at pickup. Thai Treasure should consider removing the allergy indication feature from their order form or list common allergies on specific dishes (as allergy ingredients in sauces are difficult to discern).
Thai treasure is one of our favorite Arlington returns, either in person or to go. The food is delicious and staff are very nice. We have moved from the area but stop by when are back in town. We appreciate the vegan options and the lunch special is amazing.
We absolutely love Thai Treasure! We eat here once or twice a month, at least. Their food is incredible and the cocktails are seriously amazing. Such an underrated gem!
I love their lunch specials!
I love Thai Treasure! Best krab rangoons in the DMV!!!!
This feels like my second home. Obsessed!!!! Service is amazing and food is incredible. Not enough good things to say!
I love this place!! The Sun Dried Beef and Fire Cracker Shrimp were great happy hour treats. My wife and I love the big plates too, and had to bring our friends. This is truly a hidden treasure! <3
Great fried chicken dumplings. Noodles and green curry spot in. Great atmosphere and music.
The happy chicken made me very happy. Sometimes with crispy the meat is in such thin strips, but the happy chicken was not. Perfect crispiness as well.
Amazng!
Very bad place i found hair from my food then i asked refund they said no service so rude terrible place never ever come to this place 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Good well hunting
A gem. The food is DELICIOUS, Alex is is the best (always get A+ service, even for takeout) and I loved the Lychee Collins. Also, the interior is so lovely.
My new fav spot! This place never disappoints. The fried rice is amazinggggg and the staff are always friendly and on top of it! (:

I’ve had a lot of thai food in my life and I can’t lie, unfortunately this was one of the worst I’ve tried. I tried my best to like it but it didn’t have the best flavors that Thai food usually offers. I got the chicken dumplings, pad thai, and papaya salad and honestly, all three were pretty rough.
Utter waste of $28. Don’t even know where to start. Purchased veggie drunken noodles and chili wonton. Flavorless on both. Hands down the worst Thai Ive had in the Metropolitan area. Noodles were practically mush. Wontons were minced into a bed of iceberg lettuce and cold inside. Just awful.
Great sitdown atmosphere. Good food at a reasonable price. I can't think of a single thing to complain about here.
One of my favorite go to spots, most of their dishes are tasty, you can’t go wrong. They have gluten free options, just make sure you tell them. The service is friendly and fast. I typically get the chicken or shrimp pad Thai which are solid choices. The shrimps are large and fresh. I’ve also eaten the green and Penang curry as well as their drunken noodle and pineapple fried rice. I order take out more but the handful of times I’ve gone in the restaurant it has been clean and fast service.
Decent seasoning on some dishes but consistency across dishes is not there. Very small portions. $8 for 4 small chili wontons is absurd. $20 for drunken noodles or pad Thai with the smallest container for an entree is robbery.
This was a very nice and very quiet venue for our octogenarian parent. Good food, wide drinks selection and wonderful staff.
Everything was great
Authentic delicious Thai food- such a gem to have in the neighborhood. Our go-tos are the Thai Treasure wings, green curry and any of their noodle dishes (pad Thai, pad see ew, drunken noodles). I always add shrimp, which are large and juicy. Worth the $3 up charge for the protein. The mango sticky pudding is great too. Have ordered 3-4x so far and pick up is always a breeze.
Delicious curry! Tried the green curry and the red curry. Great lunch special.
My go to Thai place when I’m in the area! The food is always delicious, the flavors are great, and the spice level is perfect. Definitely an easy choice for my friends and I!
Tasty, Delicious
Really, really good food. Loved the Massaman curry!
My friend and I shared the papaya salad, chicken pad thai(spice level 3), and chicken pad see ew (spice level 5). They were all very good. The entrees did run on the sweeter side, but I didn’t mind. They also have additional spices you can add on the table including chopped up green thai pepper which is rare to see and really gave it the authentic spicy taste. I’ll definitely come again
Very good curry, noodle dishes, and appetizers. Easy to set your spice level on most items. Great cocktails. My only complaint was that they play the music a little loud, but that hardly interferes with enjoying the food.
Good happy hour specials on drinks! Food sizes very generous. The smaller plates/apps were hit or miss (hit on pork belly, miss on firecracker shrimp) but their rice dishes were good!
The best. Family friendly. We were treated well.
We did a take out order for 7 ppl recently and it didn’t dissappoint. Roti Massaman Dip, Papaya salad, TT Pad Thai and seafood Pad Cha were my faves! I highly recommend this place for take out or dine in. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a full bar. Outstanding servers who are friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to try other dishes.
Soup was a little to limey for my taste
We ordered the red curry and drunken noodles lunch special, which were both $12. I was very impressed with the food. The red curry was flavorful and creamy, with a good balance of heat and spice. The drunken noodles were also delicious, with a nice mix of stir-fried vegetables and noodles. The portions were generous, and I left feeling very satisfied.
The service at Thai Treasure was also excellent. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed.
Pricey.
While the Seafood Pad Cha was very tasty, it was extremely small especially for its price
Yum! Love this place!!
I wish i had known about it sooner.
Brought my mom for lunch and she was very impressed. The food is very tasty! Please be very mindful about the spice level! Even the 3 was a tad too much for me haha but still good!
Wish we had time to try the drinks. They sounded really good.
Will be back and bringing friends!
Plenty of splashy flavors abound at this neighborhood secret overflowing with mango 🥭 vibes and fish sauce smells.
Good Thai, always get it right and have good spice levels! Crispy Chicken is hittin’
The only reason I took off a star is because the spicy edamame was way, way, way too hard and fibrous. There was absolutely no way any of us could chew them, let alone swallow them. We had to send it back and order a different appetizer. We're not sure why they didn't notice it before sending it out to us.
All the other items were delicious, as usual. The restaurant was very flexible about our vegan requirements, so thank you for that. A couple of tips: before the main course is served, take away the appetizer plates and replace them with fresh, larger plates. Also, provide a serving spoon with each main dish. The small spoons that were given are not handy for serving ourselves.
Great food & service with very friendly staff!
I ordered food for pickup and I found a huge cricket in my food. The manager was being very rude and would not allow me to return my drink that I ordered from there as well. This is very unsanitary and the health department needs to come and inspect immediately. I would never eat there again!
Good food and service
Sometimes the food is great, sometimes its just ok. Staff is very nice though. Food is not spicy, they only make it up to 'american' level spicy.
Very good Thai restaurant with good quality and prices.
Delicious Thai food, great for eating in or taking out. Excellent service.
Food is great, however I asked for 3 out of 5 on the spicy scale for my pad thai... don't get me wrong I love spicy food and it's pretty much my everyday thing(spicy) but this 3 out of 5 felt more like a 8 out of 5 because I took one bite and coughed. I ended up eating what my wife didn't eat of hers because my lips and tongue felt like they were bleeding. Idk if there was some miscommunication and they accidently put down 5 but holy that pad thai wasspicier than the devils toenails
Red curry is quite good. The bar makes a surprisingly good old fashioned.
Love the food!!! Great service and friendly staff!!!!
I recomend the place yo anyone, you will love it as I do! ;)
Amazing food and service! This is my new Thai spot!
Thai Treasure Restaurant & Bar is located in the Ballston area in Arlington, VA and is literally a 15 minute walk from Ballston Quarter.
Dumplings are my weakness and the veggie dumplings were flavorful and beautifully crafted. Adding the chili sauce kicked up the heat factor and didn’t over power the dumplings.
The Pad Thai Chicken was a crowd pleaser among the Yelp NoVa elite squad.
And no Thai meal is complete without having a glass of Thai Ice Tea to wash it down. I should have took a cup to go, but you know there’s always next time. 😋

Great Thai place. Pai Thai is sweet. We love the massman curry. Priced well for the area. Lots of seating and you don't need a reservation. They have a bar with $5 beers every day until 7pm.
The food was absolutely delightful and the service was excellent.
Our experience was horrible last evening as we attended an event at the door we encountered two grown men one Asian and Caucasian acting like they are fighting - they grabbed one our friends and pushed them the middle to involve him in their childish behavior, at first we thought they were random dudes on the street drank , once inside we realized they had a connection with the staff , the two really made everyone feel so uncomfortable, as group picture was taken they grabbed the phone and insulted one of the friends attending the event.
Food is good but your in hospitality business, guests safety is important - we did not feel safe at your business.
Great pad Thai.
Decent pad thai and other Thai food. The duck dish is good. The bar is what you would expect. They do have some nice bourbon if you're hunting a good pour in the area. The real issue is when you get take out they automatically add a tip to your order and if you've already been waiting for your food for 30mins after it should be ready, you've might just sign and pay without carefully checking the tip amount. Every business I've been to males you add the tip or the amount, and they don't come preloaded with a 25 percent tip for take out. Absolutely abysmal business practices. Will not be back for this.
Best Thai food in Arlington
Great place! Excellent food and service!
I love this place. The whole staff is so friendly. Food is terrific. Cocktails are beautifully prepared and a great bang for the buck. Ask Chris to make you a Mai Tai! Best in DC!
Family owned and operated with street parking right out front! What more could you ask for? Well, it gets better so stay in your seat! They have DAILY specials and happy hour as well.

Food was very fusion that it almost has nothing Thai left (should have called Thai-inspired food or something). Lunch special doesn’t worth that much. Ordering other menu won’t differ in terms of price. Otherwise everything else was great. Our server was a bit confused throughout the meal but it was decent overall. Great decoration though!
Most of the people here seem very nice. We loved the veggie rolls. My friend and I both ordered pad Thai - hers with shrimp, and mine with nothing extra. This caused some confusion- what came out was essentially just noodles without tofu, scallions, etc. The fellow who brought it out told me I should have been clearer when I ordered, and essentially told me it was my fault. I replied there must have been a miscommunication- he eventually added some beans sprouts & tofu, but no vegetables . The original waiter apologized and had it remade. Good in the end, but not good service.
I wish I could give them less than one star. I ordered pad Thai and drunken noodles and it took over an hour to make, it also came out wrong the first time. Servers are rude and when I said to cancel it after 44 minutes I was told it was already made and I would have to pay for it regardless. After an hour I asked to speak to a manager and they pretend there wasn't one... do not go
You know when you walk in to a place and you say- I am going to just get sustenance and thats ok?
Welllllllll let me spoil the surprise! This place is sustenance BUT its the sustenance that actually recharges your faith in humanity and your optimism in the world. Like I told them- a job well done is a rare and beautiful thing. They do a beautiful thing. GET IT.
This is my fiancee and I's most regularly ordered food place for good reason. Consistent and high quality food, always great service, very fast (average ready for pickup is 20-30 minutes in our experience). The portion sizes for the entrees are average to on the larger side.
I don't eat meat, but they have an expansive menu for people who do, with a nice variety of dishes and street foods to try.
They have lots of items than can be made gluten free AND vegan. A few examples are the spring rolls, pad thai, and drunken noodles.
Support local business! This place is great.
The veggie noodles and pad Thai had a lot of fishy smell and stunk
..even though we asked to not add fish oil and they said ok
Food is delicious, great ambience. Try the spicy tray with everything on the menu.
Pork skewers were barely marinated and gristly.
Mushrooms in the soup were barely cooked.
Not sure how they got the good reputation
Excelente comida, muy buen ambiente y su atención es de VIP excelente restaurante pata comer en familia o solo el ambiente es el ideal
Very delicious.
Excellent and fresh food. Great service. We will come back!
Food was okay. Service? Not so much. The lady kept trying to make us leave the restaurant, when there were so many empty tables around us. We both ordered a decent dish each and only stayed for 1.5 hours. We weren't loud, we didn't ask for anything more (like more water or napkins or anything like that). Not sure why she was so anxious to make us leave.
Beautiful place..great food and customer service
My favorite place in the neighborhood. The dumplings are awesome..
Ordered take out for fried rice. Way too much oil and grease… not a healthy option I would say.
Great Happy Hour with lots of choices
Great prices, great quality, service could be improved
Have to update my review because this place has gotten so bad and inconsistent over mutiple visits. One day you go in and it's ok, the next you get barely cooked "fried rice" or something advertised as spicy ranges from not seasoned to inedibly hot.
This has been our go to out of convenience but I can't see going back anytime soon.
Terrible service, what an awful experience overall. Waiting time was excessive before I could get any help. I was the only customer, which made it worse. 3 staff employees stood around without offering the menu or anything. I had to ask for the menu. Food was decent, but it was incomplete when it was served, taste was nothing special. Will never be returning here. Sorry for future customers that may come here and get same experience.
The lunch special is a good deal and the fried basil rice and green curry were as expected. The appetizer was an extremely small portion (1 egg roll!).
The food was soooo yummy! Nui & Blaine are such a super sweet duo and they were so helpful!! I’ll definitely be back soon for the happy hour and to see my new favorite duo ❤️
I have been here twice when traveling and both meals were excellent. Staff was super polite and the decor is comfortable and welcoming.
Authentic Thai with great vibes and conveniently located
My "go-to" for Thai in Ballston. Never disappoints.
Best Thai food in Arlington
This is our neighborhood go to. Nice staff and low-key atmosphere. Their wings and dumplings are some of the great appetizers they offer. We particularly love their Kapow and Panang curry dishes — always fresh ingredients. We’ve always had good meals here.
Have been enjoying their lunch specials which are very reasonably priced and tastes wonderful. Going to be going there often.
Excellent food, upscale looking and good pricing.
BEWARE........DO NOT EAT THIS MUSHY RICE FOOD!!!!! I CALLED TO TALK TO A MANAGER AND THE GIRL WHO PICKED UP THE PHONE ACT LIKE SHE DONT KNOW ENGLISH WHEN YOUR COMPLAINING. SHE LEFT ME ON HOLD FOR 45 MINS AND THE MANAGER DID NOT PICK UP. YOU WILL NEVER GET A DOLLAR NOR A PENNY FROM ME OR OUR COMPANY AGAIN!
Thai? Yes, but a treasure it is not. We called in for a small takeout order so I’m leaving them with 2 stars to be fair because we did not dine in. We were told the food would be ready in half an hour, no complaints here but I did think the wait was a bit long for the restaurant being virtually empty upon arrival. Food was lackluster and average at best and the portion size for one of our starters was so small I would’ve thought we were served leftovers. If you’re looking for solid Thai food in the area I would suggest Thai Square.
Good food. Nice service.
