Bangkok Thai Express will feature an outstanding Thai authentic with cozy atmosphere and quick service. Location in the corner of O'Reilly Auto Parts
This place is very good and they work hard to make sure that you are happy and satisfied with your food and experience. This place is busy but we were seated immediately. The food is very good and has a lot of flavor. The only downside for me personally is that they do not serve beer. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal as well as my guest. They are kind of hidden in the back of the complex and easy to miss. In my opinion if you're looking for a place for great Thai food this the place to go.
Quick stop, our first time at this restaurant and it was fabulous. Fresh, flavorful, generous portions, great gracious service. The restaurant was very clean. Drunken noodles for the win! But seriously- we can’t wait to go back and try other dishes! Thank you for a great experience!!
Tried this place because of all the great reviews. Perhaps we stopped by on an off night, but the curry was disappointing. It was very watery, and unusually sweet. The potato was undercooked and the chicken was tough. I wasn't able to finish my dish. There are some other options in town I'd recommend for a more authentic and enjoyable meal. That said, the restaurant was small, but nice with good decor. The service was also quick (could explain why things were undercooked). At least the potsticker appetizer was good.
I recently spent a few days in Utah and decided to visit this place based on the glowing reviews. I was not disappointed! The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was incredible. The Red Curry was a standout dish and is an absolute must-try. Another highlight is the affordability of the menu. I was surprised it wasn't more crowded when I arrived. Overall, I give it a 5/5!
My family is obsessed with Thai food and most around town are horrible. This one on the other hand is amazing! The food was delicious and fresh! We had the cashew nut with chicken and my 2 and 5 year old were fighting over it! And the panang curry was the best we have ever had!! The people were beyond nice(even when a rude customer was yelling at them) and the shop was clean! I will be eating here weekly!
We weren't sure about this place as it seemed slow, but I'm very happy we chose to order takeout from here, the food was amazing, best curry I've ever had. It was just the perfect spiciness and full of delicious flavor and fresh veggies, the chicken was tender & so good. We also ordered yakisobi noodles, mango sticky rice and dumplings it was all delicious. We've tried a lot of asian/Thai places in town and this one is on another level. Give them a try u won't be disappointed.

The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, just a great restaurant. One of my new favorites. We had pad Thai and drunken noodles and both were great.
Foods awesome, dinings great and have never had an issue on take out. Closed without notice on a usual day is kind of a bummer though. At least a note on the door would be grand.
Ordered panang and pineapple curry to go. Both were so delicious and generous portions. Definitely a new favorite place to eat.

The most rude waitress I've ever had. She treated us badly. No smile, no introduction, nobody else in the restaurant. And after the horrible service, remember, we were the only 2 diners there, the server wouldn't bring me my change! I waited 15 minutes and then had to go ask for my change back, like she wanted to sneak and keep it. It was so uncomfortable. I will never go back to this restaurant and encourage every reader to eat elsewhere. Benja's or Royal Thai Cuisine is much better, anyway.
Where to start? Well to begin with the food is good and portions are not too big or too small. On the other hand, service is horrible. Our server only showed up to take the order and o drop off the check. She was not polite at all and did not refill our drinks or checked on us at any point. She sat at the host desk during the whole time of our visit. I got up to ask her for a to go box and noticed that she was on her phone watching a video. The restaurant 's dining room was kind of clean, but the windows look like no body has cleaned them in months it makes me wonder if the kitchen is clean. Plan to spend about 18 per person on a lunch visit.
Very bland food, inauthentic flavor. Don’t bother eating here if delicious food is what you are after.
Little hidden gem. Food was fantastic!
Food came out with in minutes of ordering. The taste of the food was great. Will be going back.
We weren't sure about this place as it seemed slow, but I'm very happy we chose to order takeout from here, the food was amazing, best curry I've ever had. I’m from Vegas so i have some amazing Thai options around me. That said I’ve also tried Thai in pahrump Nevada and that was a mistake. The pad see ew here is fantastic for the area in my opinion! Thai tea is also good!
Disappointed in the curry, made with tiny square carrots and peas (which always remind me of frozen vegetables from the 80's), and the meat texture was rubbery (seemingly a lower quality frozen meat). I paid extra for a 2nd meat portion, and the curry container was still not full. Brown rice is also an extra charge on top of that (not noted in the menu online) and the online ordering system does not allow a customer to make that change with the extra fee. I made the request in the notes, and was only notified after I arrived to pick up the order, and had to wait for the brown rice order to be placed at that time. I had proactively left a tip when I placed the order, and wish I could have taken it back.
I hate leaving a low star review for anyone, but its not fair to the better establishments if a customer review is not truly honest.
I can't speak to the other dishes or sit down service. The curry and take out was not a good experience.
We were visiting from out of town for biking/hiking. We looked for a Thai place and stumbled across Bangkok Thai. We were pleasantly surprised by the great food. Give it a try!

Best Thai food in town hands down.
Nice atmosphere, awesome food. The yellow curry is delicious, and the Thai iced tea is exceptional, highly recommend stopping by
Can't say enough of this Thai food. Amazingly good. Small inside the restaurant but the food is wow!
Don’t get confused.
It’s all about the food.
Mom and Pop cooking authentic real deal Thai Cuisine.
Perhaps the best Asian restaurant in St George.
Try it. You’ll like it.
The food here is delicious !
However, the service was a thumbs down 👎 this time around. I ordered food to go. When received we decided to eat on the table the restaurant has outside.
20 minutes later I come back inside the restaurant and ask for a water cup to go.
The lady said , "we are low on cups and cannot give you any ". Thought this was lame. Will not come back.

Some of the finest Thai food anywhere.
The only place better I've ever tried is life thai fusion in Los Angeles.
But this place is excellent!!!
Great food, fast friendly service!
Wat een heerlijk eten. Alles super vers en snel klaar. Een enorme aanrader voor wie zin heeft in overheerlijke afhaal of ter plaatse eten.
Best Thai Food ever!! A MUST have !! Delicious !
Great food, service and atmosphere! We got the Larb chicken salad, Thai fried rice and Basil fried rice. We loved all of them. The food arrived quickly and the hosts were very nice.
this restaurant the food was delicious and the service was excellent.
Fantastic thai food. I found the fine tastes of thai food in this tiny and charming restaurant. Managed by passionate people, this is obvious.
Cute little place with good food.
Really really good Thai. Of the 4 Thai restaurants I’ve been to in St George this one takes the cake.
I got the green curry “Thai Hot” spice level and it was delicious. Hot enough to make me sweat, but not so hot that it overpowered the amazing flavors.
My wife got the Thai chow mein “mild” spice level and it still had great flavor depth and wasn’t overly sweet.
10 out of 10, will be going here again.
Pineapple curry is the bomb!
Panang was so good. Best I have had in a long while.
Small little restaurant with only 5 or so tables. Would recommend!
Food was excellent and service was great. We had the drunken noodles and red curry and they were both delicious! The only improvement I would make is a larger restaurant to seat more people.
One of the best Panangs I’ve ever had! I lived in Thailand for six months; I’ve had a lot of Panang. The lady chef is from north eastern Thailand, and very kind when we chatted. Can’t wait to try more dishes! The seating area is smaller but was very clean and she came out multiple times while we were there, just to make sure it’s tidy. And as you finish your dishes she’s so kind and right there to clean up excess items. This place will be a regular for me!
My favorite Thai food…
Great food, great service and highly recommend❤️
Stopped in for lunch.. $25 bucks for curry and spring rolls.. They charge extra for small bowl of brown rice. Prob wouldnt be back for that price for lunch. Thats dinner pricing. As for service, not very friendly.
Crave it everytime I'm in town
We found this hole-in-a-wall Thai restaurant 30 minutes away from our hotel. We ordered two kinds of soup for the 12 of us, the Tom Yum and Tom Kha, both of which tasted very yummy. We also ordered multiple plates of the Pad Thai, drunken noodles, panang curry, red curry, and fried rice. All of the food was warm and delicious, and they also provided containers of red pepper flakes to make the food more spicy. The restaurant service was courteous and friendly, and the food was a nice end to our night of long driving. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Thai food
This is our favorite Thai place in town! We love it so much. The beef chow mein is delicious and so is everything else we have tried. It’s a small place but it really is fantastic!!
Great food! I got the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with beef, medium spicy. Next time I want to try the yellow curry noddle soup.
My wife and I tried the place for Lunch. Very nice and clean. The server was prompt and pleasant. We ordered Panang curry and Tom Kha Soup. The soup is the best tasted. The curry was also very flavorful, just a little too spicy. We will return.
Very delicious, fairly priced, good serving sizes, and nice small restaurant. Aesthetically pleasing. Thai iced tea was only $3.50 and good serving size. I also recommend the Mango Sticky Rice.
We were just passing by and had lunch here. It surpassed in all aspects. Tasty good service. A must try place 👌
Delicious food, great service.
We had the pad see ew and the yellow curry and it was delicious. It also has a very cute atmosphere.
Bang Thai Express is a must-visit spot for Thai food lovers! The flavors are amazing, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous.
We have come to this restaurant many times. Today, no just the food was different but also the service. The food definitely didn’t taste as used to taste like. I’m not sure what changed but the food was not tasty. The curry was extremely watery. What it was supposed to be spicy was not and what it wasn’t it was spicy.
There are not diaper change stations making the place and the whole atmosphere not very kid friendly.
Delicious food with tons of vegetarian options
Spotless. Food fresh and I'd say excellent but I ordered mild because I know Thai can run hot. My usual temperature is medium on American standards. Both of my dishes were to spicy hot! A medium hot at least.
So the owner called me. We talked about the issue stated below. She was very apologetic. She asked me to come back and she made my order again and it was excellent! Pretty disappointed. I ordered cashew shrimp and vegetables. It was all shredded carrots and onion. Where were the vegetables?
We have been coming to this place for almost a year. They have always been super accommodating. I am vegan and we have gluten sensitivity. They have always been able to accommodate us. Today we came in and this older lady basically told us we were not welcome and they would not accommodate us. We will not be coming back. Really upset with the place, it used to be the best food around.
Kleines thailändisches Lokal.
Ich hatte das grüne Curry mit Rindfleisch
Die Sauce war etwas zu dünn. Ansonsten sehr schmackhaft.
They changed the recipe for the Drunken Noodle. I'm not going back.
10/10 great customer service delicious food
Got take out last night. The Mango curry with chicken was superb. The sweet & sour pork was so so. The sauce was tame and I think the pork was actually chicken. I would not order that again. The order came out fast and that was appreciated!
My absolute favorite Thai place!!!!! I am very picky when it comes to good, authentic Thai food and this place is eat!
There isn’t a single item on the menu I don’t enjoy. The only thing I would love even more is if they added chicken Satay to the menu.
This place is a hidden gem!
Service was fast. The Pad Thai was good but the combo appetizers were mediocre. Tom Yum soup was good. Dining area is small but clean. I would eat there again or get carry out.
This place is soooo good! It is tiny though. Only 5 tables inside and a couple outside. We got the chicken massaman curry medium spice & it was really good. The service was great. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you like Thai food. We will be coming back!
Love eating here! It's a cozy place, but if it's crowded, the food to go is just as delicious!!
Drove here to see that you’re closed and the website nor phone were updated. Thanks a lot
Wow! excellent service. Really good food, huge portions, great value. 10/10
Great food and reasonable prices
We loved eating here and will definitely go back!!! Seriously super tasty and fresh Thai for a good price with very friendly and fun service. We had the drunken noodles, spicy eggplant, and tom yum and loved all of it.
Love it!
Amazing food! One of my new favorites
Absolutely loved it! Great food and the service was excellent.
Small restaurant with nice quiet atmosphere. You can easily talk and listen to others at your table. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Service and kitchen were pretty quick. Prices were reasonable. I had tom kha which was quite good, and pad kee mao which was excellent. I plan to go again the next time I visit St George.
Amazing food, cozy restaurant, fast service.
This restaurant was recommended by friend. Not easy to find but not difficult either. The service is great. The food was extremely flavorful. There are several other Thai restaurants in this town, but this is by far the best. The one drawback is that it is very small. Seating for 6 or 7 parties but don't let that stop you. It is without a doubt the best Thai food in town.
Very small, but great time. Server worked very hard to make sure all had a great experience. Food was excellent
Best Thai place in town. First time here and food was amazing delicious. They even grille the carrots and peppers in the drunkin noodles. Just amazing, every dish. Nice little spot off green springs. Very clean and super fast service at a cost lower than other Thai places and 200% better taste. A must go for locals here!!!
Such great flavor. Nice people, great food. We got yellow curry chicken, shrimp pad Thai, and mixed veggies. All were wonderful.
Best pineapple curry ever!!!
LOVE THIS PLACE so delicious and cheap!!!! my new favorite place to go with my girlfriend ❤️
The food was great, some of the better Thai food I’ve had in Utah. Four stars because service was very, very slow. Slow enough we will just get takeout next time.
The food was fresh and delicious. The dining room is beautifully done. I highly recommend trying this place.
Tom yum was great, but the drunken noodles used the wrong noodles. The spice levels were very weak. Overall I feel Royal Thai is much better for Americanized Thai food.
This is mostly a takeout. Only four tables to dine in.
Echt heerlijk gegeten. Super lekkere curry’s hebben ze hier. Een aanrader!
Pad Thai was fantastic.
Hands down, the best Thai food in Saint George! We love Thai food and now only go here. Packed with fresh veggies and always great quality. Much prefer over Benjas and Royal Thai - Bangkok Thai exceeds both in quality and price. We get takeout from here regularly now. The red curry is our favorite, but you can’t go wrong. I am vegetarian, my husband definitely is not, but we both love to order the curry with just vegetables, no meat, because it is full of a variety of perfectly cooked veggies.
This a little whole in the wall place but they have the best Thai food in southern utah.
Food was good and portion sizes were good. But service was a bit slow due to low staffing.
Food was fresh and very authentic flavors. Will go again.
We were passing through and craving Thai, and naturally a little skeptical of the quality and authenticity of a Thai place in Utah but we were pleasantly surprised. Bangkok Thai was some of the best Thai food we’ve had, period. The service was also above and beyond and the food came out quickly. I hope to find myself in St. George again soon to stop here.
When we called the front desk person is quite not sure what we are ordering. Then we kinda explained and then she understood what we are ordering and the restrictions for the order. She said 15-20 mins the order will be ready, We went there after 30 mins but the order wasn't ready. We have wait for another 10 more mins to get the food.
After we go the food we paid and we are about to leave but the person came out and said you didn't sign the receipt. I said I paid cash why should I sign the receipt. Then she said that's right and left.
After that we opened the boxes to eat. Not at all UpTo the mark. White Rice was little soggy. Basil fried was okay but some of the meat are not cooked. Green curry was okay but it was not Thai hot 🔥. Nothing was Thai 🔥🔥 as per our order.
Overall: Very poorly cooked food, not worth the price.
We were very disappointed by our experience. I tried their coconut shrimp appetizer, which turned out to be the coconut shrimp you buy at Costo. My wife tried the Tom Kha, which had no lime flavor at all.
For an entre I tried the Pad Thai, which I get at almost every Thai restaurant I visit. I find it interesting how different the dish can be, especially on a scale of sweet vs savory. I couldn't really say if Bankok Thai's Pad Thai was sweet or savory because it didn't have much flavor at all. And they served it with, of all things, lemon slices. Maybe there is some kind of regional Pad Thai that uses lemon instead of lime, but... no. My wife got the pineapple fried rice, They put curry powder in the dish which completely overwhelmed any pineapple flavor.
Bottom line - there are several other good Thai restaurants in St. George. Try them first.
Delicious. Loved the massaman curry. Must try.
Great Thai food! I got the spicy basil, it definitely didn't disappoint and they have pretty hearty portions.
The spicy eggplant is by far the best in town (and quite possibly the best I’ve ever had). The tom kha kai is also very good; creamy texture as they were generous with the coconut milk, and it was seasoned super well. The aesthetic is pleasing and the owner is very friendly. We will definitely be back.
Has some outdoor seating.
Good food and the service is great.
First time trying Bangkok Express. Food was delicious and prepared quickly! I ordered the Panang Curry and it was full of flavor. Will eat there again!
Let me start by saying the service was excellent. My wife had the Pad Thai, and she said it wasn’t bad. I had the drunken noodles and I have many qualms. There was not enough sauce and the sauce was thinner than I am used to. There was WAY too much basil to the point that I picked it all out because it was so overpowering. It also was not spicy at all, and I had requested a little spice. Lastly, this was the first drunken noodles that I have had that didn’t come with broccoli. On the plus side, my Thai iced tea was huge and the tom kha soup was pretty tasty. Overall I had high expectations based on the reviews and my expectations were not met.
Favorite Thai food in town. Food preparation is excellent.Fresh ingredients. She makes it to order to degree of spices you desire.
Not a better thai place in town. you know its fresh when you hear the pans sizzling and then the chef rings a bell to alert the waiter to come grab the food right as it gets done. Simply the best and so flavorful.
Our favorite in town! Everything we’ve tried is great!
Delicious food and very kind workers
I love the food and service, people are friendly but the location is so tiny.
Awesome food and great vibe. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the States.
We made our first visit to Bangkok Thai. We got Fried Rice and Drunken Noodles. It was soooo good! Very reasonably priced and just clean, delicious food. The restaurant was very clean....we did take out but next time we might eat in. I will definitely be back! The cashier was so nice....brought the order to our car. I love this place! Highly recommended!
The service excellent, food delicious. Did not eat in, but the atmosphere seemed very nice.
My new favorite Thai place in St. George!!! Amazing Panang Curry!!! Drunken noodles were fantastic!!! Very friendly and quaint atmosphere. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Simply AMAZING!!!
Get the yellow curry. Will change your life!
Delicious, pleasant, clean and fast!
We regularly eat Thai food. It’s my wife’s favorite. We used to love banana blossom but lately it’s gone downhill, so we decided to try this place. Hands down, best Thai food in town. My wife got the pad Thai and she said it was amazing. Even my toddler boys who usually shy away from the noodles full of “veggies” were eating it. If you are looking for good Thai this is the place to go.
My wife and I just moved from northern California. The hardest part of moving, after leaving family and friends, was leaving our favorite Thai place. Hands down this has been our favorite Thai food experience in saint George! My wife got the fried rice with shrimp and I got the drunken noodles. Delicious. Fantastic flavor. The Thai basil is so fragrant and filled with flavor. My only request would be for their Thai hot to be hotter. Even so, truly wonderful looking forward to our next visit which will be soon and frequent.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tiny place. The pad khra pao was delicious and the right amount of spicy for me. My wife said her pad kee mao was the best she’s ever had. Kind and attentive wait staff just made it all the better!
We’ve been looking for a good Thai restaurant in the area. Our previous go to place had lost its quality. Bangkok Thai scored- great service, attentive staff, awesome food! We’ve returned 3 times to try new dishes. Love the Tom Kha soup. Still working through the curries. Great Pad Thai.
Amazing! I don’t even like Thai usually but this place is incredibly fresh, authentic, and generously priced for the portions. A weekly regular for my family
The owner takes pride in their restaurant and the food reflects it. We'll be back!
Never thought I'd find such good thai in st george
Delicious food! We love this place 😋
Fantastic food.
Pretty good Thai. Enjoyed the service quite a lot.
The portions are perfect for the price; the meal was amazing and the best yellow curry I have ever had. They serve FRESH ingredients, and they have a great atmosphere which feels romantic. If you are near here and enjoy curry, this is a priority to try on date-night. Medium heat spicy-ness was perfect and above mild; it was not spicy enough to distract from the many flavors.
Great service and great food!
Absolutely delicious, I walked from quality in and it was still piping hot when I returned to the hotel. Perfectly seasoned. Super nice young lady had my order ready right when they said it would be.
Every single thing we had was absolutely delicious (even the “plain” noodles)! Service was wonderful and the prices are great. We’ve paid double for Thai food that was only half as good. This is our new favorite Thai place in town and we will be regular customers!
Pictured: Pad Thai, Larb Chicken salad, and plain noodles that our 4-year-old requested.
Not pictured: Crab Wontons and Thai Iced Tea
So good! Quite possibly the best Thai food I've had in Utah. Had the yellow curry soup. So full of noodles and veggies. Yum! Everyone in our party thought their dish was delicious. I'll be visiting whenever I'm in town! Service was fantastic.
Delicious Thai food and great customer service!! Last time I tasted Thai food this good was when I was at The Banana Leaf in Jafar Bahrain. The Thai iced tea 10/10, Pad Thai 10/10 Panang curry 10/10. We’ve been here multiple times and the food has been amazing each time.
This place is my new go to lunch spot. I use to visit other Thai restaurants regularly in town but their Drunken Noodle is amazing! Their restaurant layout is a bit weird but who cares when the service and food is great!
Very good food. The drunken noodles with tofu was wonderful.
Very good food. Great service. Drunken noodles had good flavor and order was made as requested. Thank you.
Best drunken noodles I’ve had in a while! Yellow curry was also very good! Would highly recommend and will be back :)
thought we would try something new and we were so happy we did it was so yummy. and great service.
The best Thai food I’ve had in Utah!! It makes me so happy to finally have good Thai food in St. George. Everything was fresh, and so flavorful, they don’t omit herbs like some other Thai places around here. If you love Thai food, you’ll love this place. The dining space is small, but there weren’t many people when we were there and the food came so fast!
We came here with hopes that it would be alright. This place is amazing! This is the only place in St. George that does pad Thai right, not that ketchupy stuff you get everywhere else. The drunken noodles was sooo good too. Please give this restaurant a try. I want them to be here for a long time so I can keep getting great Thai food!
Great atmosphere, cozy and delicious food. Lots of options and a fast prep time as well.
Unfortunately I'm not impressed. I was really hoping they'd be good after seeing such positive reviews but their pad see ew is extremely bland. No flavor. Maybe it's just not their specialty but it's what I order at every thai restaurant so I know good pad see ew when I taste it.
Staff was friendly though and I appreciate them being open on Sunday and being able to order online.
They made us wait too long, we left
Lovely place, delicious food, excellent attention! There's a big selection of dishes with different proteins to choose so there's plenty options for everyone. I totally recommend it and will visit again!
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Everything I have ordered is fresh, and delicious!
The food was good but the restaurant was so cold, the food was cold before we could finish eating it.
Everything we ordered was made fresh and was delicious! My husband loves the Pineapple Fried Rice and my Pad Ke Mao was SO good. I have a new favorite Thai place in St. George!
Food was hot and perfectly cooked. Spices-sweet-salty are perfect. Perfect vegetables — fresh and delicious meat/veggies
We got the tom kha soup, pad see ew noodles and massaman curry. All of it 5 stars!! Yumm
THIS PLACE. It’s so good. Please help us keep them in business!!
Really awesome Thai restaurant. Will definitely come again when I visit St George.
Favorite was the Thai basil fried rice and panang curry.
This place is so lovely! It was my first time being in St. George honestly this was some of the best Thai food I have ever had. I had mango curry the food so tasty and amazing! I absolutely recommend this place.
Amazing yellow curry. Potatoes were soft, onions had so much flavor and chicken was perfect. They cut it think enough for a bite but not to thin that it’s hard to eat. The Tom yum was another amazing item on their menu! I love Thai food and living in st.george you usually have to travel to find some really good Thai dishes but after trying Bangkok I’m coming here now!! Also the owner Anna was so cute and friendly I love it here!!
Today was my third visit, in two weeks. For take out only, not dining in. I am a combination of meats and shrimp fried rice, add some bean sprouts and that's good eating! This new restaurant was highly recommended from a co-worker. I've tried the coconut shrimp and fried dumplings, nothing fancy (as if purchased from Costco, not homemade). The Fried Rice is very good and flavorful. I also had the Tom Kai soup, it was to live for as well. I will try other items on the menu the next time. This place is on my way home from work. If and when I crave it, and don't feel like cooking for the night. I just call them up and the order is ready in no time at all. Although it is not on the menu. I would love for them to make me a Thai Pork Stuffed Omelet! Overall, Great Thai home style eating. You will not be disappointed!
