It is very nice restaurant. Food is very tasty. I ordered beef soup with rice noodles, some times I ordered number 30 from menu and my husband ordered one of the spicy food, he said it is the best Thy food. I recommend. Also this restaurant is way better than Simpl Thy restaurant in Salt lake.

We tried Mekong Cafe 2 for the first time tonight, and while it wasn’t completely terrible, I wasn’t exactly impressed. The veggies in my Pad Woon Sen tasted like they’d been steamed, rather than stir fried with the noodles, and the broccoli tasted like it arrived at the restaurant frozen. I wasn’t a fan of the whole baby carrots or the huge chunks of celery, and this whole dish was rather salty. The pineapple fried rice was okay, but it mainly tasted like chicken broth. Finally, I was shocked at the Tom Ka Gai: the soup had broken, completely separated. Frankly, I’m amazed they served it that way. The flavor was okay, but again, the veggies seemed like they came from a can rather than fresh, and the appearance was absolutely disgusting. I’ve never seen this happen before. No matter how often we stirred it, it just separated again.

On top of that, we noticed the cook wasn’t wearing a mask in spite of the mask mandates. Normally, I feel great after eating Thai, Korean, or Chinese food. But this left me feeling kind of icky, like I’d just eaten a bunch of processed stuff. The longer I ate it, the worse it tasted.

I’ll be making the trip to north Provo for some Spicy Thai next time I’m craving Thai food; it’s worth the drive to get something good.

Fortunately, our booth was pretty secluded as the benches had a high backs, but as you can see in the background of my Curry pic, other tables were definitely not seated the proper distance apart. Take out might be your best option here. We had Fresh Spring Rolls and Pan Fried Dumpling for the appetizers and they were tasty, especially the sauces. Our entrees we're both Curry, Massaman and Green medium spiced and they were delicious when they finally arrived.

Sooo good. Mouth watering. I've loved everything we've tried there. I rated it a 5 because of the food. However, the customer service is a little plain... they don't say much to you. And the atmosphere could be nicer. The benches aren't comfy at all. But i feel like the prices are great for what you get in food.

I love this place! The prices are totally fair considering the quality and quantity of food, and everything is always delicious. I should eat here more often.

Our favorite place for Thai food. Yummy every time. We usually order take-out & the service is consistently quick, accurate & pleasant. We especially love the Thai Egg Rolls & Pad See Ewe.

A family favorite. The mango sticky rice is the best thing on the menu and the yellow curry is always tasty. There is no ambiance, but everyone is really nice and the price is right. Would recommend, will go back.

The food seems pretty good I got the pad Thai with beef and it was really nice. My only problem is that it took me a while to figure out what to get since there are so many options and it can be overwhelming. I hope to come back someday and try their pho when it's colder outside.

The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t necessarily good. We tried 7 different dishes and shared family style. Every dish was ok but bland and had no heat AT ALL, even the dishes labeled as spicy. I don’t know if you have to specify that you want spice or what. Wasn’t left completely unsatisfied but probably would never choose to go there again.

We order a lot of thai. The food is not terrible, but it’s probably the worst thai food we’ve had. They also got 2 out of 3 orders wrong.

Because I would be the only one speaking. The server said Number 9 and number 48 that was it. After that I hope you brought your own drinks and condiments because you wont be getting it here! Never asked how spicy we wanted the food nothing other than the look of distain toward you. VERY BLAND that included the soup. NOT worth your time or money! Will never go back.

The waitress wasn’t very friendly and didn’t want to serve us very much. She went on her beak before checking on us. We were completely out of drinks and we were served a small potion and we wanted a second serving because it’s supposed to be all you can eat for $30 a person. She finally came back from her break after 20 minutes and we were thirsty, frustrated and ready to leave. For a family of 4 we definitely did not get our money’s worth. We will never go back.

I am giving 2 stars just because the food is delicious but the service is horrible, they people there make you feel unwelcome and they look angry when they see you get inside. They even stop serving food 20 minutes before of the closing time.

The waitress was a bit slow and didn't seem to try to communicate much regardless if she spoke much English or not. We had times where we sat got a while before being checked on or helped at all. The food was pretty good but definitely toned down to not be very strong in spice or taste. I'd definitely check out other Korean spots in town before this one but if you're really wanting some Korean food, this isn't the worst.

The pad thai was extremely sweet and tasted mostly like ketchup. I ordered pork but my pineapple curry dish came with chicken instead.

I travel alot and this has to be the worse cafe I been at. The Waitress was not friendly didn't get a welcome us didn't say thank you for coming. Food was mostly veggies not enough noodles or meats. No sauce bowls no salt no pepper no nothing. Won't be back when in town. When I said I travel I'm a truck driver and I been to cafes restaurants street trucks. Etc. But this place, jus no.

This place turned me into a Thai food lover. Great food for a great price. I stop there whenever I can and pick up some Pad Thai or Pad Priaw Waan or Thai Satay ... I could keep going. Haven't had anything I didn't like. There are not many restaurants in Utah I can say that about. In fact, this is the only restaurant review I've ever given.

The restaurant was quite, and the atmosphere was calm. Our waitress was nice and the food was pretty quick. However, my wife and I both got sick from the food. Bad stomach aches. The food was sub par at best. Mushy orange chicken that was doused in sweet sauce. More soup than orange chicken. My wife ordered a noodle dish that wasn't flavorful but was advertised as flavorful. Drive the extra ten minutes to panda Express, you wont regret it.

I love this place!!! Almost too good for Springville/Spanish Fork. And the people there are so nice.

Every item we ordered was terrible, and the only reason why the store hasn't closed yet is because Utah is too white and inexperienced with authentic Asian food to know any better.

We recently moved here and were looking for a good Thai restaurant. With all the great reviews we thought we would try here. The first time we had it the food was great, however tonight was the 2nd time. The curry seemed watered down and the pad thai wasnt anything to write home about either. Im really confused at the different quality between last time and this time. 3 stars just because it was good last time. If i was rating solely on the food tonight it would get 1.

Food was good, service was terrible. Took them a while to come to the front to seat us. Once we ordered we were on our own. Her table manner was off putting, unless she absolutely had to talk with us... We didn't exist. Once we got our check, it was all on one. We said it was individual checks, she said "OK". And left. For a while and never brought back individual checks. My friend decided to just pay for it all and the rest of us would venmo her. The waitress saw the card and then said "I can split."At this point we'd been waiting for so long and had already resolved the issue. Not returning based on the extremely basic service. Below bare minimum service.

Best Tai food in Utah that I have had and I have had a lot in Utah. My favorite is the pumpkin curry but the BBQ beef is great to. My wife’s favorite is the Tai basil chicken. You do wait for awhile to eat but it is worth it.👍👍

We went in at 6:00 and there was only one other family there, and they had their food and were eating. Because we were so hungry we ordered an appetizer right away. Thirty minutes later when our appetizer had not been delivered yet, we asked the waitress what the delay was. She told us that she would go check on it. Finally 15 minutes later it was delivered. Then after an hour of waiting for our main dishes, we asked the waitress what was going on? She said that waiting for more than an hour for food to be delivered to the table was common there. We told her that we were hungry, and asked her to bring us our check for the appetizer so that we could go somewhere to get some food. We told her that waiting that long, without an explanation was not acceptable. She went and got our check, we paid for our appetizer, and left. We thought that a manager would come running out with our food and that there would be apologies etc., but nothing happened. We will never go back again, and we LOVE Thai food. Really poor business practices!

Service: The lady saw us from the kitchen window right after my husband and I walked into the restaurant, it took about 5 mins for her to come out from kitchen to seat us down, “2?” Was the only thing she said the whole time. In this 5 mins she looked at us 3 times with no words not even a “Hi”. Anther 5 mins wait she came with 2 cups of water then stood at the side of our table to let us place order without saying anything besides “ok”. She did not ask us any questions, like our preference on spice level or if we wanted something to drink, other than water.

I typically dine-in at this restaurant, when in town, and my latest experience was not too different from my previous visits. The food and price were very good - great flavors overall although I did NOT like the shrimp spring rolls (they were dripping oil when I picked them up and were quite plain). The main drawback I've noticed about this location is the low customer service. There was only one lady running the registered and service and I only notice only one man in the kitchen at my last visit. This meant that the service was very slow. I noticed more people called-in or ordered take-out at the register, so perhaps the best way to experience this restaurant is to get the take-out.

It’s rare that I take the time to write reviews, but this was one of the worst Thai/Vietnamese meals we’ve had - and we’ve eaten Asian food all over the country and world. Not even close - it tasted more like watered down Chinese food. :-/ I almost feel bad for all the people who gave this place rave reviews - they have no idea what they’re missing with real Thai and Vietnamese flavors!!

I love love love this place. The food is always cooked perfectly and packed full of flavor. The staff there are definitely and friendly and I love seeing them when I go in. My favorites are the green curry and the chicken satay. Best Thai food in the county!

It was just ok. Not too sweet. Nothing fantastic. Slow service would not suggest for a quick lunch bite. I got a hair in my food but didn't complain because I didn't want to ruin the meal and time for my guest I was with.

I hadnt been back in a few years but took my wife who loves thai food. I had good experiences in the past but was disappointed this time. To start we were seated by the kitchen/ bathroom when there was only one other party. When we asked for another table the waitress couldn't understand us. We decided to not let it bother us and enjoy the meal. The food was good but not the best thai. Our curry came with a small bowl of rice to share. When i asked of we could get more rice she said she would have to charge us $3.00. I understand needing to charge but $3 for one cup of rice? We shared the cup she gave us and took the leftovers home.

The food was fairly good, but portion size relied too much on the sticky rice to make up the difference. I had no real issues with the food. The biggest issue was getting our food ordered. There were several call-in and to-go orders that were taken care of before we even got water. Then it was another 15 minutes before we gave our orders. After the long wait to have our orders taken, the rest of the meal went well.
The mango sticky rice at the end was very good though.

I will probably go again in the future, but hopefully I won't have to wait as long. I think if you don't want the wait, it's best to call in the order before. It seems that they treat those NOT eating on-site a lot better.

One other issue, when we got there, the place was empty, but only one table was clean. I'm hoping that it was just a busy night with a reduced staff, and not a usual thing.

Big portions, small prices, tasty food!
I got the Pad King and Pao Pad Graprow during lunch. For less than $20, I was full with a take home box. I eat a TON, so this is saying something. I love Thai food and have been to several thai restaurants. This is definitely top 3. Service wasn't loud or outgoing. It might be a turn-off to some. Cute sitting booths. And the mints they give you are peppermint, not spearmint, so I appreciated that. Wish I wasn't moving, I'd definitely come again.

This place was at an freeway exit. I actually had just gotten off the freeway to grab a quick bite before continuing my trip. Glad I saw this place before getting a quick burger. Spicing was a little different than any Thai restaurant I've been to before. Plenty of food and the restaurant was clean. Service was only fair. If I was in the area, I'd try it again.

Called at 9:10 on Saturday for take out and they then said they were closed. I asked why when it says they are open until 9:30. They said no one was coming in so they are closing early. I said I was willing to order take out, they said they were sorry. I won't go here for at least a year. I used to go there once a month at least. Expensive bad business choice. . . .

It's supposed to be Thai food... I ordered a plate from the noodles section and... No noodles in my plate. The flavor is not good at all... I prefer to go to Thai village in Provo.
