The food and drinks were both absolutely delicious. The quality and quantity of food is just right so personally I think everything was reasonably priced. There was also a DJ and the music just made the experience that much better.

We got lucky with street parking but if you don't get it then there are parking garages near by.

Things to note - they do ask for your cc when making reservations. If you're late or no show there maybe a charge for this.

Reason for giving 1 star less is i have never had to pay for a cake to be brought to the table especially if I brought it. There is a $20 charge for them to bring the cake to your table even though you brought everything so I found that a bit unreasonable.

B.O.T (Bar of Thailand) in Atlanta hits the spot for authentic Thai food and drinks. Don't miss the chicken satay with its perfect peanut sauce, and the flavorful fried rice. Spice things up with the drunken noodles, and cool down with a classic Thai iced tea. They also shake up some mean cocktails like Mojitos and their own B.O.T signature cocktails. The vibe is relaxed and friendly, making it a great place for a casual meal.

The ambience and the food was great! We had some difficulty finding parking around the area. We also made a reservation as it it can get crowded during the weekend.

Visiting Atlanta some friends wanted to go out to eat and after browsing a bit we found B.O.T (Bar of Thailand). From the Atmosphere and setting to the look and feel it provides inside, this place provided an incredible experience!

The colorful setting from the multi-colored grass leading you to the entrance with the floral dangling above the door already provided a unique setting which was engaging and made us curious. As we entered we were even more surprised, after an initial glimpse we took in the beauty and intriguing nature of the restaurant which was really cool!

We were greeted by friendly staff and seated almost immediately. Following being seated we took a glimpse at the menu and were excited to try some delicious Thai food!

We ordered the Moo Tod and Roti Massaman which were great starters. The Roti Massaman was a soft roti with a smooth and sweet yellow curry, absolutely delicious and there was enough yellow curry left over that you could use it as a dressing for an entree or other item if you’d like! The Moo Tod was a group favorite, a crispy layer surrounding juicy pork belly on the inside. Taking a bite made you instantly want more and was absolutely delicious!

Many in the group got different entrees, but my wife and I got Pad Se-Ew Crispy Chicken and Jumbo Lump Crab Fried Rice. The Jumbo Lump Crab Fried Rice was good and the crab was a delicious add to the dish, but overall it was somewhat bland and didn’t really excite me as I was eating it, especially for its price point.

The Pad Se-Ew Crispy Chicken was definitely the highlight of the entrees. The crispy chicken was delicious, juicy, and had a great crunch that paired well with the noodles and sauce from the rest of the dish. Combining all of the pieces of the dish together were beautiful and created an excellent dish which outshined the Jumbo Lump Crab Fried Rice.

Overall the restaurant was beautiful and a great experience for my friends and I! It’s a great spot for a date as it is very immersive and intimate.

We came here for my mother’s birthday. We had a reservation for 4 people. They opened the door for us and the hostesses were very nice. We were seated immediately. Our server was James and he was absolutely phenomenal. He was nice, very knowledgeable of the menu, made suggestions, was attentive to our needs, and even after the meal he came outside and took photos of us. When we come back, we will definitely ask for him. For appetizers, we did the fried calamari and por pia tod (crispy spring rolls). We had the lycheetini and Thai passion soda for our drinks. For the entrees, we had the B.O.T tacos, pla tod (fried snapper), geah yang (lamb chops), and the pad thai lobster and shrimp. The lychee cheesecake was for dessert. Everything was delicious! Overall, the service was incredible, food was incredible and the ambiance was very nice. There is a parking deck next to the restaurant or you can park on the street. Lastly, one thing I did not know until we dined, there is gratuity no matter what. On the website, it says gratuity of 20% is applied to parties of 5 or more. On the menu, it does say that but it also says 18% gratuity for parties under 5. I didn’t mind it, but I didn’t see it anywhere on the website. Can’t wait to come back!

Parking is typical ATL trash- on the street. There is 2 hour parking next to the building however it is only 7AM to 7PM. I found free parking a block up along the street.

This was my first time visiting this place. Even though it was after work on a tuesday the place was nearly empty. My party was the only one there for a good minute. So we had some good Peace and Quiet 👍🏽

Total was $159.90 (📸) I got 4 Strawberry Margaritas 🍹, 2 bottled waters, Thai Chicken Wings, Smoked Duck Panang 🦆, Cucumber Salad, 2 Basil Fried Rice.

Pricing is average for downtown ATL. Get a lot- spend a lot. Most entrees in the high teens or low twenties. One person will spend at least $20-$40 here on one meal. Gratuity is included regardless of party size.

The rice!! Baby I will be BACK for that rice! It was SO good! The rice was cooked hibachi style (fresh off stove) with the perfect amount of flavor! Some thai food can be too strong with herbs or really spicy but this one was PERFECT! The fried rice is definitely one of those dishes you get to-go anytime you are near!

The service was great! Our waitress made sure to continuosly check on us and kept us up to date on waiting time for the food. She gave suggestions and was very friendly. I love how they didnt ignore us because we were the only ones in the restaurant. A+ 👍🏽

That parking is going to KILL it everytime I tell you! No one wants to struggle to find parking just to eat. They need to run a valet, obtain a lot somewhere, or give a map/clear instructions on where to park in the area.

Would I Recommend:
If you can find a parking space then it's a no brainer! Yes! Definitely go! 👌🏽
If you want to just pull up and eat without a parking hassel and walking- I would not recommend due to location.

Delicious Thai food with a gorgeous atmosphere. I ordered a safe dish called Pat see ew and it was delicious. I recommend this place for a cute date night, birthday party, etc. it is a boutique restaurant so it is a little tight but give it a try.

Parking is a little tough but depending on what time you arrive you can park on the street or at the Moe’s across the street.

Although I left a 5 star service rating because our waitress was friendly but service was very slow and we weren’t attended to as we hoped possibly due to it being busy that night. I did want to mention that we came for Bday dinner and asked one of the servers that were not busy to take a photo and they told us ‘No’.

Besides that I really love Thai food and enjoyed the atmosphere.

I was driving around for 20+ minutes, so I'd definitely suggest Uber. The parking deck next to it is very limited, and street parking is rough because it's a very busy area. Had my birthday dinner here last night and the staff was amazing. Everyone was so nice and the food was so delicious. Definitely a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend.

I made a reservation for my birthday (Feb. 14) and they were unable to locate it in their system. Because of that, I had to sit at the bar. The manager tried to accommodate me, but did a poor job doing so. No one said "Happy Birthday" or tried to make the occasion memorable. Extremely disappointing!!

I asked at the least they make sure to ensure the birthday girl feels special and after watching them play a special song for everybody else all they did was drop a piece of cheesecake on the table and not even say happy birthday like they did for everyone else. The manager was rude and we basically had to beg for them to AT LEAST comp the birthday girls meal as compensation for such bad service. They also tried to blame the Dj when they didn’t tell her to play the song which is just behavior I find disgusting because don’t scape goat another employee instead of just sending a manager. I would NOT recommend dining here due to the service there are other Thai restaurants with food that is the same or better and ACTUALLY quality service.

The reason I give only 2 stars is because the kitchen is not clean. We had bugs that look like German roaches on two of our plates. The manager did covered our food but not our drinks. In a situation like that everything should have been covered. Bugs and especially German roaches are serious health hazard. Best believe I will be contacting the Georgia department of public health. Our server was great. The atmosphere is beautiful. But the kitchen is dirty. I do not advise going to place!

I did not have a good experience. We had a reservation at 8:30, we were seated immediately but no server came to our table at all! We waited for atleast 45 minutes but once we seen another table get served before us who came in after us we decided to leave. When we let them know what happened everyone acted confused and no sincere apology was given. The patio seating was also way different vibes from the inside, no music was playing at all. They do have heated lamps but we were also unfortunately sat a table without a heated lamp above it so it was pretty cold as well.

The ambiance here is captivating with all the light sources and pops of color. Delighted I stopped here on my travels.

Bar of Thailand did not disappoint! It was myself and everyone in my party’s first time and when I say we all loved our food, we all loved our food. The Duck curry was so good, I asked for a side of sauce to go. Shannon our server was super sweet and took care of us the whole night. I will be going back soon.

Literally only leaving this review to shout out my server James!! He was so attentive and kind! All of the recommendations he gave us were delicious and he had amazing energy! His presence made the restaurant experience even better !!

We are not the ones to complain and love to enjoy a good time. Unfortunately Kass who was our bartender/server was not creating the best experience. She stated she doesn’t work often and gave us a hard time with the menu. It was slow and we wanted to order base off what we saw on instagram and she gave us a hard time. It’s time to up the customer experience. I am a director over customer relations and the experience matter. Let’s focus on making customers happy b/c we are the ones spending money and growing the business. Other than that I hope our next experience is better.

I just had dinner here, last night with my friends for a Birthday. THIS PLACE WAS GREAT! Loved the atmosphere and the food was SO GOOD! I had the Pad Thai and the Spring rolls. SO good! I also had the Lychi martini and a Lemonade. Both were so good. Our server, Shannon was SO great! She was so helpful and made the experience great. I 100% recommend.

It's more of an intimate setting. We were seated on the outside. It was a little chilly but they do have overhead heaters that were on. Out waitress was super nice. It was also my birthday so she ensured I got a complimentary slice of cheesecake. Overall it was a good experience.

This is actually the candler park pool and the walk to get there everything is chill.

Overall it was good food. We sat outside and the vibes were cool. The things I didn’t like was the parking situation and the LOUD music. I understand that the place is in a the middle of Atlanta (midtown), but the only option for parking is on the street and at the Azure apartments (which it is $2 every 20 minutes). The restaurant doesn’t validate so just be mindful about that. Additionally we went on Saturday evening but the music was entirely too loud. If I would have know there was a DJ, I would have chosen somewhere else because I found myself yelling to talk to my friends and the waitress. I would have chosen a lounge and not a restaurant if I wanted that atmosphere (and we were outside). Overall, the staff was great and attentive to our needs that’s why I give it a 4/5.

The menu should be ala Carte because when you get your check it’s deconstructed. Literally rice is $21 by itself.so if you order a Shrimp fried rice. You pay $21 for rice and $6 for shrimp. If you order a Strawberry Margarita it will read on the check as $13 for Tequila, $6 for Margarita and $2 for the strawberry. Not to mention it was pure sugar no alcohol at all. There is 20% gratuity added to the check. The food was bland and the service was underwhelming. My server was Minnie and she was awful. Just over priced with no experience at all. The DJ the night I went was boring as hell. Kept playing the same songs all night long. Also the staff was not very diverse. Do yourself a favor and just go to Win a taste of Bali instead.

Everything was amazing! I really enjoy the food and the areas beautiful. Kinda small but I would definitely go back! Also the DJ was on point!

If you come for beautiful scenery and photo ops - you will not be disappointed. But the food is average and customer service below avg. I attended a bday dinner on a Tues. night. The venue was maybe 50% capacity, but service was slow, the waitress did not check on us routinely, and we did need things! I ate calamari, Chicken satay, a vegan entree and tried the snapper ordered by a friend. The chicken satay was the best but nothing was worth returning for. The snapper was fried hard and over sauced, no vegetables served with it. You can find better Thai food at 100 places in the city - BUT! the venue is very pretty and worth visiting if you want ambiance and drinks.

Came here for my bday and it was soooo good. I was an hour late and I didn’t get there (along with the rest of my party) until 5 min before the kitchen closed. We didn’t feel rushed and the vibe was still really nice. The Dj? Omggg 10/10 he played hip hop and r&b. The food? 10/10 everything was hot, fresh, and good! Definitely would recommend for bdays or just a night out. B.O.T will definitely be seeing me again💕

OMG, the food is delicious!! Went there last weekend. The drinks, food and service was everything!!! Definite on the the “dine here again” list.

Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere!!! It's beautiful inside and outside of the restaurant. You can't go wrong eating here! The food portions were amazing, the flavor was great and delicious! This is the best Thai food I ever had and eat thai food all the time! I had lobster and shrimp Pad Thai! It was fried lobster cooked to perfection and the size was nice! I'm not a drinker but the strawberry lemon drop was so tasty. I don't live in GA and wish I could go to this restaurant every week. I can't wait to go back soon!!

This is the best thing about my son's new apartment. Around the corner is this fun and funky Thai restaurant. Thom ka soup was full of delicious mushrooms and shrimp. Scallop carpaccio was smooth and spicy. Numtok(Steak salad )was my favorite. We finished with Thai tea creme brulee. Definitely original.

The restaurant started playing music, and shortly after, a Caucasian couple was seated behind us. We heard the waiter asked them if the music was okay, and they said it was a bit loud. Right after that, the restaurant turned off the outside music. When we asked why the music was turned off, we were told that the people upstairs had complained about the noise, which wasn't true. I asked again, but no one ever came back to address our request. Prior to the Caucasian couple arrival, we were never asked if the music was okay or the other couple that was seated before the Caucasian couple arrived. It wasn’t late, it was around 630pm. It seems like it’s one way for one race at this establishment, not sure if I’ll come back!!!

I celebrated my birthday here and it was so beautiful and the food was better rhe first time I came but it was okay on my birthday. But I still will come back again. I always get my lychee martini!!!! Sooo good

This restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious 😋 We ordered the B.O.T platter since we'd never been and wanted to try so much. It was $139 plus an automatic 18% gratuity for just the 2 of us. It had 4 appetizers (spring rolls, rotti, shrimp rolls, calamari), the snapper entree and a mini entree of shrimp pad thai, 2 prawns, and rice. We honestly didn't know how to eat the prawns, lol. Google said when fried like they did it, you could eat the shells but we couldn't do it so I still peeled them 🤷🏾‍♀️. Everything was really good. Also, since I don't eat pork, it was great to not have to sub anything. Our waitress was really nice and knowledgeable. I saw a pic of the platter on Google. It wasn't on the menu, maybe because it was lunch time but she knew everything that was on it and explained it to us. We're definitely going back to work our way through the menu.

My 1st time here and I will be back. Food was absolutely delicious!

So we had reservations for 8:45 not knowing that they closed at 10 on the DOT ! The customer service was trashed they rushed us to order , to eat and to be gone! We didn’t have any time to enjoy the atmosphere and the vibes. The food and drinks are definitely a 10 the music was cool. They shouldn’t be taken 8:45 reservations if they closed at 10 on the dot!!

We came here for my mother’s birthday. We had a reservation for 4 people. They opened the door for us and the hostesses were very nice. We were seated immediately. Our server was James and he was absolutely phenomenal. He was nice, very knowledgeable of the menu, made suggestions, was attentive to our needs, and even after the meal he came outside and took photos of us. When we come back, we will definitely ask for him. For appetizers, we did the fried calamari and por pia tod (crispy spring rolls). We had the lycheetini and Thai passion soda for our drinks. For the entrees, we had the B.O.T tacos, pla tod (fried snapper), geah yang (lamb chops), and the pad thai lobster and shrimp. The lychee cheesecake was for dessert. Everything was delicious! Overall, the service was incredible, food was incredible and the ambiance was very nice. There is a parking deck next to the restaurant or you can park on the street. Lastly, one thing I did not know until we dined, there is gratuity no matter what. On the website, it says gratuity of 20% is applied to parties of 5 or more. On the menu, it does say that but it also says 18% gratuity for parties under 5. I didn’t mind it, but I didn’t see it anywhere on the website. Can’t wait to come back!

Our dining experience was outstanding The Jumbo Lump Crab Fried Rice was a pleasant surprise, offering a delicate and flavorful taste experience. The Geah Yang, or Grilled tender lamb chops, were masterfully cooked to lock in juiciness.
Our Thai iced tea was a delight, and the desserts showcased creative flavor pairings - the coconut cake topped with coconut ice cream and the Thai tea crème Brûlée were highlights.

My 38th Bday was such a great experience here with my friends I’ll give B.O.T 10/10. If you haven’t been get there it’s very upscale with great vibes,food and drinks!!!!

This restaurant was so damn good. I went with my boyfriend, and we were NOT disappointed! I got the fried lobster and I was astonished by the first bite. That lobster tasted SO GOOD. My bf got the noodles- can’t remember exactly but they were also good. We went months ago and I’m still thinking about it. The drinks and service were also 10/10. We made reservations during the week but it was pretty empty. I have no complaints and I can’t wait to go back.

This place was such a great vibe! The bartender bought all of his fancy tricks from Miami pretty dope! Service great food amazing. I will most definitely be back to sit @ the bar.

I would have absolutely loved to give this place 5 stars, everything was good until the very end. There was a sign on the door that said no tap to pay. One person in our party asked if she could bring the device to tap and she said no, sorry. One person in our party didn’t bring cards, he only had his phone to tap. We accepted it and I used my card to pay for his and he will just pay me back…fine. However, less than 3 minutes later, our same waitress allowed a woman to tap to pay. We are a table full of African Americans and they were white…maybe the reason, not sure . Won’t be back due to this.

We visited Saturday night about an hour before closing. Nice place right off 11th street. Free Parking on the street after 7pm. We had a party of 2 and they sat us immediately. Love DJ and pretty quick service. Food is EXCELLENT! Will include some pics. Definitely saved it to my favorites!

First I would like to say the place is esthetically pleasing if you’re a content creator. The drinks were great and the plating was pretty. My husband had the crab fried rice which he loved. I had the Lobster Pad Thai. Aside from the fried lobster, the dish was not good AT ALL, very disappointing. The seating is on top of each other and I don’t like that all.. But that’s also how majority of the ATL restaurants are these days. So give it a try just don’t order the lobster Pad Thai :)

Good morning! I would just like to take the time to express how my experience was at this restaurant. My brother and I went to this restaurant on Saturday. I saw someone talking about how good it was so we decided to try it for ourselves. First of all the restaurant looks exact like it was advertised online (beautiful). We had reservations. And we entered the establishment we were greeted by a lady with a very friendly personality. We were seated immediately and the waitress greeted us promptly. She was able to give us some great suggestions (which we went with). The appetizer was chicken tacos VERY GOOD! My brother got the short dinner which was amazing and I had the jumbo lump crab meat fried rice. That was amazing as well the ambiance of very laid back and inviting. The waitress very attentive to our needs and pleasant to deal with. We were extremely express with the whole experience here and are definitely planning a return visit. I recently at the B.O.T. A group of us for a special celebration. The server had a great attitude; however, we all were seated outside, which I did not like. It was extremely hot outside, no fans were on the patio and the dinner celebration was not pleasant at all due to the heat and again, no fan on the patio. One of the appetizers I ordered, the sauteed mushrooms were salty. It could have been the sauce they used, I don't know, but it was salty and I did not eat them. Will I go back? I'm not sure. I wasn't happy or satisfied at all with being seated outside. The restaurant needs better accommodations for large parties. Kind of dissapointed with picking that restaurant for such a special event.

Overrated. Looked better than it tasted. Drinks were good. Red Snapper had no flavor besides the sauce that was added. My expectations were disappointed. Fried well cooked well but lacked any seasoning. Overpriced also. 🤷 Not worthy of a return.

Just made the 5 star mark as parking could be a nightmare. Luckily, we found street parking right after 7 PM (FREE). We heard that Valet could be $20, and the lot, which was full, was $10. Decor was cute inside and out. Making for great backdrops for pics. Drinks were good and standard price for downtown. I had the Mama Kee Mao, which reminded me of Ramen but with better flavor. Comes with Mussles, Calamari, and Shrimp. It's worth the price! Ask for extra sauce if you like yours saucey like I do; it's only $2 more. Will return even if it's for the bar area and DJ, which both had a dope vibe.

The best choice for my Mother's Day celebration!!! All of our food was delicious!!! The drinks were great as well. I can't wait to go back again. We sat outside this time but want to be inside to enjoy the music on the next visit. I would recommend a reservation so you can sit inside. Parking was easy to find, there is both free and paid parking available.

The waiter dropped the table lamp on my food, and when we asked for a new dish, she replied, " I wipe the table lamps every night. They should be clean". After we kept insisting, she tried to take the old dish back before bringing out the new one. They do this when they’re going to give you the same food on a new plate. I won’t be back. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and two main course meals. Food was mediocre, but we couldn’t even have that, because the waiter ruined our night. Who wants a lamp that’s been at a table all day around multiple ppl in their food! AVOID AT ALL COST!

Beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere is nice and sophisticated, great for a date. Food is simply amazing, no words for how good the house salad and the Basil fried rice was. The service is great, the girls are super welcoming, nice and everything comes really fast. I recommend you to try the cucumber salad ;)

As a Foodie living in Atlanta, I was so excited to check this place out with my good friend on a Friday night based on some of the great reviews I heard. First of all, the atmosphere is a vibe as I loved the R&B music being played by the female DJ that was spinning on the 1's and 2's giving it a club vibe...Loved it! The parking situation sucks, so you have to drive around until you find off street parking (2 hours - $4, but I believe it's free after 7pm). I did notice a parking deck next to it, but don't know if that is open to the public or just for the building residents. The service was unwelcoming as our Asian female server named "Minnie M" who came to our table just stared at my female friend the entire time and asked what she wanted to drink and then proceeded to walk away. I immediately stopped her and said, "excuse me, but I would like a drink as well." At this point, it already put a bad taste in my mouth, but as an International person who was born overseas, I realized that maybe this was part of her culture where she doesn't look at the man when they are with a woman (learned that from that show "Match me Abroad" on TLC..LOL). At any rate, that's no excuse. When in Rome do as the Romans do! I love my international people, but they need to hire staff that know how to better communicate and engage with ALL their guests. I told her this was our first time dining here and she just looked at me with a deer in the headlights look and like a stump on a log (weird). Now for the food..oh boy, it missed the mark for me. First of all, don't advertise this as a "$$" price rating. It should be changed to a "$$$" rating. I'm not cheap and don't mind paying high dollar for fine dining restaurants, but the food here was undesirable and left me with stomach cramps. The food is overpriced and lacks quality and flavor! When I asked the server what was a good appetizer, she recommended the Calamari stating that it was a popular dish. We also ordered the Chicken Dumplings. When we received our appetizers, I thought we were being Punk'd. The portion of Calamari was small and rubbery and lacked flavor; however, the Dumplings were delicious. I highly recommend those, but pass on the Calamari. Now to our entrées. My friend ordered the Pad Thai Lobster and Shrimp and I had the Fried Snapper. My friend seemed to enjoy her meal, but she wasn't impressed. Me on the other hand, while we both received beautiful plates, my meal LACKED FLAVOR. Specifically, the meat from my fish was pulled off the carcass and fried in pieces. The meat wasn't seasoned and that should have been the star of the dish. I only ate half the meal and took the rest home, but will probably trash it. I hate wasting food and for $48.00 I should have enjoyed every bite! When the bill came they automatically add 18% tip, which is ridiculous to me, because our server didn't deserve that. Sounds like they are running games up in there! Oh yeah, just FYI, if you make reservations, they hold $40.00 on a credit card, so make sure you show up or they will charge you! Finally, if I do go back (no time soon), I will probably just go there to listen to the great music and have drinks and appetizers at the bar.

I dont know why they got bad reviews for the food or service but I have no complaints. I also when during lunch time instead of at night so maybe that's a factor. Street Parking was easy to find and besides the random homeless man yellling it was a mice experience.

We went on Mothers day and didn't realize it was reservations only, but we were able to sit right away at the bar or a high top area. Everything was delicious. Only complaint was hard to find parking.

If you’re a fried rice lover like me… The JUMBO LUMP CRAB FRIED RICE is it! I visited Bar of Thailand fully expecting the food/experience to be social media hyped. You’ve seen the images and video footage, this place is definitely social media worthy but they really do live up to the hype.

Now, I will preface my review by saying I visited shortly after opening. We were the 2nd party to enter the building. It was easy to maintain the attention of our waiter and the food came out hot and very quickly for obvious reasons. This resturaunt is beautifully decorated, the aesthetic travels all the way to the bathrooms.

Everything was clean and the staff was very kind and responsive. Both the drink and food menus are great. We had a hard time deciding on drinks but settled on the Royal Emerald. Cute presentation and tasty. A light pour for a light drinker like me. The calamari was perfect. Not chewy at all, crisp and tender. The star of the show, the Jumbo Lump Crab Fried Rice still has me thinking about it to this day! It’s a healthy portion and they were not stingy with the lump crab.

There are indoor and outdoor dining options and paid metered and deck parking within a block.

I will first like to start out by stating that the ambience/scenery was very nice and the decor was very fitting. The drinks were also great and they pay great attention to detail and plating.

I went for the infamous Lobster & Shrimp Pad Thai noodles dish and I was nothing but disappointed. The shrimp and lobster tasted way too fishy for there was still raw lobster in my plate that the waiter was refusing to take back after I addressed him politely on two separate occasions. The Pad Thai noodles had way too much hoisin sauce and tasted the furthest from a traditional Pad Thai.

I was completely dissatisfied with the service due to the rebuttal with the waiter because returning food back is something I never do but as displayed below, I had no other choice.

All in All I ended up getting the chicken satay which was good, regardless of the smart remarks of the waiter “ohh if you don’t like this one, you can’t return it”.

Anyways regardless please do go for the drinks and lovely ambiance.

Came here with my girls and mom last weekend. The food is amazing!! The fried rice, veggie spring rolls (bussin), great desserts and drinks. The only knock was the service. Waiter was nice but she was literally never there!! We had to always ask someone to get something and we hardly ever asked. Never refilled, checked on us, to order dessert, even to get the tab we had to ask for her. Other than that great, great spot.

Great fresh food, service was choppy and the drinks are very, very and very expensive. Do not drink there. There is no parking after a $400.00 dinner, I had to pay $20.00 for parking that was a bummer.

Bar of Thailand exceeded my expectations tonight, earning a rare 5-star review from me. The service was impeccable, the drinks were strong and fantastic, and the food tasted fresh and authentic. The ambiance was delightful, with beautiful decor and just the right level of music from a talented DJ, allowing for comfortable conversations. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I enjoyed this place overall. We ordered a couple Kung Katiam appetizers and although the only include 4 shrimp, they were tasty as a starter. I had the Mama Kee Mao and tasted a friend’s Basil Fried Rice. Everything was very good and the food came out really quickly. I have no complaints about the food, service or atmosphere. It can get pricey but it’s worth a visit!

Hey Bar of Thailand please tell your waitress's that if a 18% gratuity is already automatically included that they should be upfront about this! I tipped twice and although my service was good I didn't feel like paying a 47% tip with most of your overpriced dishes. I don't know why there was an automatic gratuity for two people .??? Actually don't mind this policy but don't hand me a tablet to pay where there's an option to tip again if the gratuity was already factored in the bill NOT cool at all.

Nice ambience!! Me and my husband were seated at our reserved time. Our waitress was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended several options. The basil fried rice and fried lobster tail was really good.The short ribs and potatoes needed to be seasoned more. They were very tender and stayed hot from the mini pot/candle they were plated on. Loved the pea flower lemonade and peanut sauce.The problem that we had was with the bartender. Disgusting!!!!!! He constantly wiped his running nose with his hands and made drink after drink after drink. He never washed them. Not one single time. Never used any tissue. He didn’t have a mask on (out of courtesy) and was coughing everywhere. Very very unhygienic, nasty, rude and unprofessional. There is no telling what type of virus or bacteria he had. He put a lot of people at risk. It was as if he had no care in the world and didn’t try to hide it. I asked to see a manager but they “Couldn’t” find them I guess so I just ended up telling an employee about it to hopefully speak to the bartender. Me and my husband left so I don’t know if anybody actually checked his behavior. We may try again in the future but cleanliness plays a big role in restaurants and that was completely unacceptable!

As everyone mentioned, parking is challenging. The atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, immediately preceding dinner I caught a stomach virus. My stomach cramped terribly and I was up all night. I had the ramen meal with prawns and mussels.

This place is absolutely amazing! The ambience and music is definitely a vibe! The drinks are strong and food is excellent! We had basil fried rice with shrimp and lump crab meat and other orders. And shout out to our waitress SHANNON!!!! Her service was EVERYTHING! We love you girlllll! No but foreal 10 stars hands down!!!

The food was great service could be a lot better I walked in sat at the bar a month ago and the bartender didn’t greet us as we sat .. no hey how are you, just a sec, here’s a menu nothing he also seemed backed up after 10 mins I asked for a menu I wanted the tier tray they serve that I saw on TikTok but it wasn’t on the menu I asked a server walking buy what was the name of the tray and the first thing out her mouth was it’s 130$ as if telling us the price would change our mind it was rude IMO & I was taken back bc she just looked at us after that and still didn’t tell us the name so I responded but what is the name of it smh It was my first time maybe my last. The food wasn’t the problem

This restaurant is really leaning on its atmosphere to keep it going, tbh. Service was decent. But the food and cocktails were not worth the price point. Nothing had flavor. Also what kind of Thai place doesn't serve the basics of Thai food?? I will not be back.

I visited BOT on a Sunday with reservations for 2p. We were seated promptly and service was great. Drinks were on point and the place was very pretty and photo ready. We got the sampler plate and basil fried rice. Both were tasty.

Parking is pretty difficult as it's street parking. Free on Sundays and metered otherwise. I circled quite a few times before I found someone who was leaving.

I celebrated my 60th birthday at the Bar of Thailand, and this restaurant did not disappoint any of my guests (friends). We were a party of 20. The bartender was amazing, our server handled our tables without any issues. The owner kept sending me shots and two (2) of my friends kept my drink, RCA, coming. The DJ kept the vibe flowing. There was NOT one (1) complaint from any of my guests. The amount of food 😋 we ordered was ridiculous, but it was delicious 😋 👌🏽 !! I already have this restaurant on my list for another visit as family and friends make their way to Atlanta.

The worst service I've ever received 😒

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my best friend that flew from Houston. Our server & the manager made our experience so unpleasant. We were waiting for about 45 mins after we only order drinks for our server to come back and tell us she never put our drink order in. As we waited for another 25 mins, we watched new people come sit by us and receive their drink & food before us. We didn’t even have water as we waited. Our server was rude and didn’t make me feel welcomed to celebrate my birthday here. The food was okay, but the service was awful!! There are better Thai restaurants in atl that won’t discriminate for just existing!

Visited on a Friday night because of a viral video post. Other patrons likely had the same idea, and the staff are well aware.This venue is essentially a bar that happens to have good food. The tables are very close to each other. Outdoor seating is more enjoyable, especially if dinner is your main goal. The food options aren't extensive, but the preparation, presentation, and flavor was nice. The appetizers made sense, but entree portions are not comparable to the price. I had great time, but likely a one and done for me.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere and the music was good. It’s a very small place and does not accommodate, in my opinion, enough people. My seat was on the outside of the table and people walking by kept bumping my seat because the tables were too close to each other. The service was also a little slow. I was really frustrated when it was time to leave. The hostess came to our table and told us that we needed to leave because there were people waiting on the table. We were still waiting to get our check! Overall, it was a nice experience but because of the size of the place and the way the hostess treated us, I am not sure I will be back.

Salutations, I saw this restaurant online and had to check it out. In Midtown near Piedmont park. The weather Saturday-Spectacular. I was greeted warmly upon entry. Took a seat at the bar and proceeded to be amazed! This place is serene. The cocktails are Cosmic and the food...although I haven't made it to Thailand yet, but I hope that when I do eat there I can say that it tastes like back home! I had the Padthai Veggie, Edamame, 2 beautifully crafted cocktails & Lychee cheesecake!!!! OH MY WOW, LYCHEE CHEESECAKE! Let me know what you think. #NFEWO

Came at the beginning of dinner service and was seated promptly. Was slightly disappointed that we were placed so close to another couple when the restaurant wasn’t that full. They had nice R&B playing and vibe of the restaurant is helped set by the lights and decor for sure. I cannot say enough good things about the service and they were very patient and quick. I am a huge fan of Lychee martini’s and this one didn’t disappoint! It even comes with rose gold flecks in it which is a nice touch. The food was delicious and I really liked the basil fried rice with chicken. I would come back here again and most likely sit at the bar or patio.

Atmosphere was great. The presentation of the food was nice. The taste of the food... never again. We went for my birthday dinner and I barely ate my entree. The "crispy chicken" tasted odd, and the noodles tasted like they were overcooked or came out of a microwave. Another one of us with a noodle dish said the same thing about theirs. I'm not one to complain at restaurants, and the server didn't ask anything about it until she brought the check. I told her it was just not good and she said "oh sorry", asked if we wanted dessert (nah), then gave us the check. If you go, keep in mind they charge an 18% "service fee" which is supposedly not the tip because for parties of 5 or more they charge an additional 20% for the gratuity.

Beautiful restaurant! The food was spectacular! Every taste bud was literally jumping and the seafood dishes were perfectly cooked.

We went for a birthday party of 14 people . We were all so impressed by the service and and quality of the food .
We pretty much ordered 1 of each items on the menu and did family style sharing and passes around plates Which turned out to be an amazing experience & allowed everyone to taste a little bit of everything. (not exaggerating when I tell you we did not have one thing there that we didn’t look at each other and said “wowwwww!”

the food came out very quick and it was a consistent flow (no gaps or wait time between each dish) and can we talk about the quality of each dish? Fresh ingredients and authentic punch of flavorssss!

BEST PART: Since it’s their soft opening , they are allowing BYOB at the moment that means ALL u can bring is all u can drink !!! 🙌🙌🙌

Low lights, fancy decor , great background music (not too loud ) mixed crowds of locals date nights, and cute singles mingling at the bar.

This is definitely our new hangout spot in midtown.

Our night at Bar of Thailand was great! It was a busy Friday, and our food was a bit late, but Brian, our server, was super attentive. Reena, the food runner, was passionate about service. She cleared our table and even checked the exact wait time for our food. Mama Kee Mao was the best, and the cocktails were good too. Overall, excellent experience! 10/10

Brian was an amazing server! He kept a smile on his face the entire time, and he even taught me how to say a few things in Thai. Definitely visiting Thailand and visiting BOT again soon! Oh and the Lychee Martins were incredible! We had a great time.

Felt rushed , waiter kept insisting we ordered right away bc the restaurant was about to close at 10. If that’s the case, why would you allow 9pm reservations! After placing my order she removed the menu out of my hand while I was still going over options. She was speeding through and we didn’t have a good dine in experience. I wouldn’t recommended this restaurant to my family and friends over hyped for no reason!

This is a nice vibey spot to hang with the girlies! We went on a Friday evening just before the crowd hit, and we enjoyed our experience. The food, drinks and service were solid.

This place is a vibe; and beautifully decorated. On the night I visited (a Sunday night), there was a dj playing a good mix of Hip-hop/R&B/Pop. The food was extraordinarily delicious. The service was good. It was pretty busy, so there was a small lag in response time with our waiter, but it was tolerable. The craft cocktails were on point as well as the Sake. I'll definitely be back.

Enjoyed BOT very much when they opened and we went several times. Our last visit not so much; the extremely loud music and "club" like atmosphere took away from the experience and the meal. Disappointed and not sure if we go back.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. It is a such cute, well decorated restaurant with a lot to look at. The drinks are also VERY fun and made well. I ordered the steamed dumplings, salmon zap and garlic shrimp. Everything was very tasty and I thought it was worth the price point. I definitely want to come back and try more.

I had a reservation for Friday 8pm and the couple behind me had a reservation as well. They told us its full and we can sit at the bar. Whats the point of making a reservation if you dont hold our spot?? Especially when you charge a $20 per person no show fee. The menu online is not the same menu in the restaurant . I asked the bartender about it and was told its a different menu on the weekend. The food & drinks was good. Its nicely decorated and they had a dj. There is street parking, valet, or parking garage available for parking options

The lobster and shrimp was delicious and fulfilling!

this place has a cute ambiance, weak drinks, but the are refreshing and tasty. presentation is excellent. Affordable ish. I spent $100 here, I’d say it’s worth it. The only reason why I didn’t give this a five was because the music was inconsistent, and the drinks were weak, but everything else was nice. Definitely worth checking out and you get some great photos there too.

So glad that I make reservation, it was so crowded. The vibe was buzzing with life! We kicked things off with the Butterfly Pea Lemonade, a stunning purple drink that matched my girlfriend's dress perfectly (and tasted even better!).

Sharing the Braised Short Rib and Smoked Duck Panang was a culinary tango we won't forget. The short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender, braised in a rich, flavorful sauce. The duck panang was a spicy symphony, hitting every note from sweet to smoky. And those plump Coconut Mussels? Like juicy bursts of the sea in every bite.Sure, it was a tad pricey, but every detail was worth it. From the fragrant coconut broth to the vibrant purple drinks, Bar of Thailand knows how to treat your taste buds right. We left with full bellies, big smiles, and plans for a return trip ASAP.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday evening. I was concerned about the wait time b/c they didn't have any reservations available, but there was zero waiting.
Our server, Andy, was amazing. His personality and attentiveness was A-1!
I ordered the the RCA Martini & the jumbo lump crab fried rice for my entree. The drink was delicious & the rice came out fast & hot!
The DJ and the overall atmosphere will have me returning soon!

I don’t mind spending the money when it’s worth it. This wasn’t worth it. A $200 final bill for less than average Thai cuisine. Our server was okay, but the overall experience was mediocre. My main issue was that they have a “weekend menu”, which is completely different from the dinner menu on their website. This was misleading. For instance, the Shrimp Pad Thai on their website menu was $19. The “weekend menu” only offered a lobster and shrimp pad Thai for $48. My friend didn’t want the lobster, only the shrimp. She was told she could remove the lobster, but would still have to pay the $48 price for shrimp pad thai. Ridiculous. Bottomless money pit. There are way more authentic Thai restaurants in Atlanta.

The cherry on top. The valet told our party different prices. We all arrived within 30 mins to an hour of each other. My valet price was $10 and theirs were $30. Just making up prices and taking advantage. Never again.

Awful. Went on a Saturday night-the menu is different and absolutely disgusting. I had some noodle, fried chicken, bok choy (they called it Chinese broccoli) concoction that was an insult to my taste buds. The valet was $20 and the drinks were weak and overpriced.This is one of those new ATL spots that targets a certain demo. Everything looks cute for the gram/tik tok but it is downright nasty. I will never be back. Save your time and money and skip this place.

Amazing date night place!!! The ambiance, the food, and customer service was top tier!!

The food and drinks were good. However, it didn't feel welcoming. Before I could finish saying hello, I was being asked if I had a reservation, which I did, but that felt very abrupt. Next, the seating was cramped. You know how places put as many tables in a small space as they can, and then you're sitting almost should to shoulder with the party next to you? It was like that. The waitress even came and moved our table over in the middle of our dining just to make sure the next party could fit. When the next party came they of course, asked if there was another table available. They were told no, and then apologized as they had to bump and basically step over me just to sit down. The icing on the cake was being asked to leave while we waited for the waitress to return our checks. I'm not sure if it was the busser or the hostess, but she said she needed the table for guests that were waiting. WOW! I recommend using valet ($10) or taking Uber. Parking isn't convenient, and the parking garage is more expensive than valet. Lastly, I would like to point out that our waitress was pleasant and asked how she could make things better.

This was my first time here and my last. Food was okay, the drinks were good. My friends and I came to B.O.T. on a Thursday night, it was a party of 7 and we were accommodated for seating outside, there was a heat warmer so we were heated really well outside. Everything started out good for the most part, after we received our food our server went ghost. The food and drinks are literally Atlanta typical, nothing special that I can't get at 26Thai where food and service is better.

It went downhill when extra drinks were ordered along with TO-GO orders. My friends and I waited around 25mins before our server came to check on us and that's ONLY because i went inside looking for the manager. Our server shows up with no drinks in hand. We all just asked for the check so we can go.

We saw our server (which she removed her name off our bill) MK M (was the name on the check) serving other guest. We waited another 20 mins before I went in to speak with a manager who was at the bar. I explained to her what was happening and we all just want our check at this point. The manager was an Asian female and didn't seem to concern, because I had to go back in after another 10mins of waiting just to get the server to give us our check. And the manager still didn't seem concern AT ALL. Our to-go orders were just put in and I honestly believe our server gave us poor service towards the end because 18% gratuity was added to the check. She was getting paid regardless. And I hate paying for poor service or no service at all. Nonetheless, I'm good on this spot.
I initially gave this spot 2 stars but since the manager never came to check on our take nor got her staff together, it deserves 1 star.

Their valet is very disruptive. The service illegally parks cars and blocks parking spaces without paying or without permits. They park in front of fire hydrants and block lanes of traffic. It's a shame that this great little restaurant can't just validate parking like everyone else in the area (they are attached to a huge garage) or have their valet use the garage and instead feels they need to have a service that is cutting corners and causing disturbances in the neighborhood. Will not be back and recommend everyone do the same until the discontinue valet.

Bar of Thailand was my go to place, I love thi food and so does my friends. A group of us went to dinner one Sunday as 3 of us were celebrating our birthday. We had a party of 7. Our server started out fine but we order our food and someone from our party found a foreign object in the food. A finger of a latex glove. After we made the complaint to the server her entire attitude towards us changed and it was just a horrible experience then our bill came way over $500 we didn’t even had drink ever since this experience I don’t ever want to spend my money here again.
