Thai food mocktail drink
I'm excited to try this new restaurant in Sugarhouse, as I've been to the one in Park City, and I really liked it. Turns out, the owners of both restaurants are sisters, and she was super nice and gave us complimentary butterfly pea drink, which was super refreshing! We ordered the Tom Yum soup, which was the perfect level of spice and tartness, full of shrimp, mushrooms, and onions. Next was the Drunken noodles, and we added an egg, and it was delicious. The pineapple curry with chicken was one of our favorites at the park city location, and it was equally good here. Lastly, the crab fried rice had large chunks of crab and was so flavorful and yummy. I can never not order mango sticky rice for dessert at a Thai restaurant, and this version had a beautiful heart shaped presentation, with pandan sticky rice topped with coconut milk made with a touch of salt that made it sweet and savory, and complimented perfectly with the ample mango slices. We over ordered for just two people, so we can enjoy it again for lunch tomorrow! Will definitely return and so glad they opened up another location so that it's closer than having to go ask the way to Park City. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
Food was decadent! We ordered the slow braised curry, mango curry and crispy tiger prawns. The curries were full of flavor and well balanced. Could eat the broth alone. The beef was incredibly tender, didn’t even need my knife. Mango curries are usually a hit or miss for me but this one was spot on. Tiger prawns were very tasty, but the curries stole the show! Drinks were great!. We got the butterfly pea and the longan. Subtle but unique flavors. Thai coffee was coffee forward and strong. Definite try for everyone!
The server was amazing and very attentive. We were the only ones there for the first half of our dinning experience and the service was great. However there was only one woman working as a hostess and server so if it got busy we could see the possibility of her getting overwhelmed and not being able to dived her attention properly.
The atmosphere was okay but it was a little too sterile. They went for a modern vibe but lacked a bit in comfort and warmth.
The food was fantastic and so were their teas. We were given a completely herbal tea upon being seated. The food came out quickly after placing our order and we enjoyed the flavor of each dish. I also order a Thai tea which was very tasty. We will be coming back to eat here again.
I've been here to a few times now, and each visit has been consistently yummy! The staff are super nice and make you feel welcome.
The curry here is absolutely amazing! It's always rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I'm not great with spicy food, but I absolutely love the green curry with dumplings--it's my favorite! Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Plus, the best part is that you can pick how spicy you want your dish to be. And for those of us who prefer it milder, they make it light! So delicious! Ha!
One thing that surprised me was their fun mocktail menu. Even though I usually enjoy a drink, their mocktails are so creative and refreshing that I didn't miss alcohol at all.
This place is such a great addition to Sugarhouse--perfect for a casual dinner or a fun dinner night out with friends. Highly recommend if you're looking for delicious Thai food and excellent service!

We just love this place! It's our go-to Thai restaurant, and we recently decided to try their takeout for the first time - fantastic experience! Everything was packaged so well, keeping it clean and secure while making sure the food stayed hot and fresh. The Pad Thai and Massaman Curry was just as delicious as always, with all those fantastic flavors we enjoy when we dine in. We can't say enough good things about it--definitely recommend this spot for both dining in and now, takeout!
We are regular patrons of the Park City location but I wanted to check out the new Salt Lake location while I was in the area. What a wonderful and welcoming spot they have put together. Not only is the food amazing, as usual, but the atmosphere is so inviting, comfortable, and beautiful!
Take a minute to indulge in your favorite Thai dish at Taste of Thai — you won’t regret it! The two women owners are so wonderful and kind. Loy & Mhoo Deng, well done! 💕🙌
Came here by happenstance on a Saturday evening. Absolutely amazing food and service!! My husband and I shared the Spring rolls with avocado and then the Drunken Noodles with tofu. Flavors were amazing and portions were great! I also tried the Crysanthamum tea which was really unique and delicious! This might be my new favorite Thai restaurant!! Can’t wait to come back and try more items!
Delicious, fresh Thai flavors, ingredients, sauces all prepared to near perfection (not over or undercooked); nice seating, excellent service, whether in house or take out!
Tried this new place yesterday, in Sugarhouse, at 3 PM on a Sunday, so somewhat of a late lunch. The atmosphere is good for lunch, with it being clean and spacious. The service was attentive, although there was only one group there for this late lunch. The food is good, but lacking in spice, and they did not mention or offer spice levels when ordering. They brought some chili sauce, but it was not Thai spices, as mentioned by the reviewer who gave it a 3. The soup was warm, but not hot, which was disappointing. The curries were flavorful, with shrimp that seemed fresh. The pad thai was pretty good, but not amazing like I have had in Thai places in New York City and elsewhere. I really want there to be good Thai food in Salt Lake City, and I hope this new restaurant will take this feedback and improve. I gave it a 4 for the food, although I am leaning toward a 3 for the above reasons, but I really want them to stay in business and get better. I do recommend that people try out this place, at least for lunch. For those who care about such stuff, the bathrooms are single-occupancy and clean. The rest of the restaurant seemed to be clean as well. There is ample parking on the street and likely also across the street in the Whole Foods and other parking areas.
Panang short rib curry was so good. Perfect spice level and creamy sauce. Short ribs were tender and melted off bone. Rice was perfect as well. I'll be back for more.
Got Drunken Noodles with beef, large tom yum gum (shrimp), and mango sticky rice =$60 without tip.
I will do elsewhere. This was overpriced and small portions, with no questions asked about spice level. I like really spicy and didn't taste anything spicy at all. The best they could do was give me chili garlic sauce which, it's OK, but no thai spices or birds eye chili peppers? Jeez. The same cost at other places are double the portions and a lot better tasting!
Best Thai I have had in Utah! And be sure to get the mango sticky rice 🤤
I almost never write reviews, but the ladies who run this restaurant were SO sweet and the food was insanely good. There are so many Thai restaurants in SLC, but I will keep coming back to this one specifically because they made the best pad see ew I've had in this city. And I've eaten at basically every Thai restaurant in SLC. It tasted homemade!
The food was delicious and fresh! Such a beautiful atmosphere. The server was so sweet! Thank you!
For a fun and really tasty Thai plate this is the place. Service is great, portions great, and the taste of the food is great.
Awesome addition to sugarhouse. Pineapple curry was delicious!!

The food here was sensational! We were a group of 6 and ordered like 8 different dishes and every one of them was perfect.
Loy and Best were our servers at this place, and they did a great job. The food was delicious! The winner was the pineapple curry.
This is the best yellow curry I’ve ever had outside of Thailand! Mango sticky rice was fantastic. Will be coming back very soon!

The peanut sauce is incredible.
I wish I could give this restaurant more than five stars! We will definitely be back many times. The food and the service are unbelievably good.
Great food! Fast service! Welcoming staff! What’s not to love
Taste of Thai is an excellent and very authentic Thai restaurant. It is family owned and run; we had the best pumpkin curry and mango sticky rice we have had anywhere.
Gem of a spot within walking distance from all the bars in Sugarhouse. Handmade rice noodles, delicious dishes, and all the decorations are imported from Thailand. The staff is so friendly and I have yet to order something I did not like.. but be warned - "medium" is actually white people hot! 🥵🔥 They DO NOT hold back on the spice here!!! No alcoholic beverages here but plenty of non-soda drinks to choose from! I go once a week now!!!!

The Tom Kha soup was the best I’ve ever had! We also had the lettuce wraps with chicken and the Penang curry with short rib. Everything was so delicious.
Amazing food, lots of flavor. Eat here!
Went there last night with some friends and was a great experience! The Mango Curry I got was very rich in flavor and they were able to accommodate and make it vegan by not including fish sauce
Excellent food and service. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. The curry dumplings are a must. We'd make a meal with just the curry dumplings. They're light and coconuty with a mild spice to them. A big hit. One of our favorite dishes in Thailand is pad krapao. The Pad Ga Pao here is similar and excellent. This will be our goto for thai when in SLC.
I had the massaman curry with chicken, and my wife had the drunken noodle. We've eaten at enough Thai places to be somewhat picky. That was bonkers!
The food was just right, the price was awesome, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was kinda posh actually. We loved it, it's nice to feel fancy for so little money.

Ten out of ten. Went there for my partners birthday and they made us feel really special. All the flavors were awesome, and the mocktails were delicious. Get the sticky rice if you want a nice dessert!
Dank ass dope
Panang curry and chicken satay were top notch. Great staff.

First time going there and it was just amazing. We got served by Loy and she was awesome. She made us feel very comfortable and didn’t seemed forced at all. She’s a such a Joy!! The food was delicious I would definitely top this as my favorite 2024 places. !! Will definitely be making another stop😁😁😁!
Best Pad See Eww I’ve ever had! The dumplings were fantastic as well.
The food and the place are amazing…. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
My husband and I love Thai food! We went to Thailand on our honeymoon and the herbal drinks here made us feel like we were back in Thailand! Food and service was great too! Definitely fancier than basic Thai food, but worth it! We will for sure be back with our friends.
Absolutely perfect food.

Upscale Thai restaurant that is new to town. We had the Satay to start, Drunken Noodles and the Taste of Thai Salmon for our mains and the Roti with ice cream for dessert. Food was phenomenal, service was excellent, the atmosphere is modern and chic. They do take out and have lunch specials. We will be going back regularly!
Delicious food! Our server, Loy, was amazing.
Amazing herbal drink 🍹😆😆
