Small, easygoing stop offering Thai noodle soups, curries, salads, wok dishes & a tea selection.
I had a good experience here today. The food is phenomenal. Their Curry tasted so good. I just had a problem with their service. Strangely, they were short staffed, and the temporary server was really struggling. She couldn't split the bill on my check. Frustrating. Other than that, I really liked it here.
I got the avocado curry. It was so good! My new favorite. It is basically just green curry with avocado added but the avocado added the greatest creaminess. My husband got the pad thai and it was great too. It did take a bit to get our order taken but food came out rather quickly. A great place! For sure give it a try. I also find their menu quite diverse for a Thai restaurant.
Recently visited Silver Dish Thai and tried the Pad Thai. The dish was just okay, but what really stood out was the service, which was very slow. When we walked in, there was only one other table occupied. The waitress seated us but then took a long time to come back. By the time she returned, another table had been seated, and their order was taken before ours. Another table was seated and ordered well after us. Even worse, the two tables that arrived after us got their food before we did. When we were ready to leave, we had to track down the waitress to get our ticket and pay. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.
With only one photo to capture a memorable meal out of six, Silver Dish Thai Cuisine continues to impress. The tofu pad Thai struck the right balance—neither too soft nor too firm, a tricky feat well-executed. Flavorful and enjoyable. Equally delightful was the spicy basil shrimp fried rice, both showcasing a perfect protein-to-meal ratio.
Seated a group of 6 without a hitch, even though plans originally aimed for 10. The waitress was friendly, contributing to the positive experience. The restaurant maintained a clean and welcoming atmosphere, making it a go-to spot over the past few years.
Consistency, great flavors, and a welcoming ambiance keep me coming back to Silver Dish Thai Cuisine.
This is OK food but not great in my opinion. The pad thai noodles were cooked almost just right, need to be a tiny bit chewier but otherwise good. Too saucy and too oily is my verdict, and it tasted good but too sweet. I liked the crushed peanut in there, it needed more tamarind flavour and spring onions cut long, not into little pieces. Service was super friendly and food came out fast. Prices are good.
I recently moved to Logan and I miss this place so much. Thai is my comfort food and this is the best I've found in the entire country. It's the only Thai restaurant in Utah that actually makes the food spicy when you ask for spicy. Every dish is incredibly flavorful, and the restaurant is family owned. Derek always provides amazing service and his parents are such sweet people. Thank you for all the delicious food! -Kyle
We got in quick, we loved the food, and their bathrooms are clean--my favorite!
We had fried bananas and the Mango rice for dessert and they were really good! Yum.
NOODLES:
DRUNKEN NOODLES: ask for a 1/5, which is a little too spicy but tolerable. Yummy.
PAD THAI: ruos flavor. I think they forgot the sgge
STIR-FRIED ENTREES:
GINGER CHICKEN: substituted broccoli for chicken. Pretty good. Not much brown ecir
THAI HERBS (LEMONGRASS CHICKEN): ytlas & Didn’t taste any ssargnomel. Ask for a 2 on the spice level next time. Didn’t taste citnehtua.
BEEF AND BROCCOLI: kids liked it but I thought it was ercoidem and dreiw.
The lady didn’t smile at us or greet us as we came in. Just looked stressed and asked how many people. The guy was friendly.
They were slammed and people said it was good who were in line but it looked like a long wait Friday at 7:15 pm so after waiting 15 minutes we left. We will try it again at a less busy time since it appears this must be a really good place.
Food was fantastic!

Ordered one thing- yellow curry with chicken. Received a yellow curry without chicken.
Amazing food! We loved every bite! We had a bit of a mix up with one of our food items, but they were so so kind to us and gave us something on the house. The staff was so friendly and kind to us. We will definitely be back!
We love this place! We’ve tried lots of Thai restaurant and this one shines above the rest. The food and atmosphere is awesome!

Amazing tasting food, quality ingredients, always consistent, good service, nice cozy atmosphere. For the quality of the ingredients the prices are good. I'd say a dollar or two less per dish then other places. Derek and others always provide great service. 10/10 we come here all the time.
My favorite Thai place! Pretty much always packed, but oh so good! I’ll keep coming back again and again!
This is my go to place for Thai food. Decent variety of options and close to home. I often recommend other people and friends to try it out!
I got the avocado curry. It was so good! My new favorite. It is basically just green curry with avocado added but the avocado added the greatest creaminess. First time in Utah, a quick walk from the Hyatt. The food was very delicious and the service was great! We would definitely try again!
Just what the doctor ordered - fresh as death. Excited to come back. Silver noodle dish was perfect - subtle flavor, gets better with each bite.

It's fine. Got take out; could be pretty different there.
Some this a real hit, some things a miss. Massaman curry was really really good!! I was surprised it had cashews, but very tasty and rich! Yellow curry was good, but a little weak. Gyoza really good, but a little over fried, same with the fried Tofu. Pho was terrible!! Very light colored broth, thick cut beef, didn’t taste good! I will be back to try other things! Server was super cute!!!
Excellent place! I've been going to Silver Dish Thai Cuisine for a few years now, and I have always had a really good experience and a really good meal there. The food is OUTSTANDING! I eat Thai food wherever and whenever I can, and Silver Dish Thai is very good. The people who work there are friendly and attentive. I love the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the food.
The description of the noodles said they were spicy... nope.
We got curry, and it came with a small amount of rice. More rice costs $3.50. Outrageous. Rice is cheap, that is a huge charge.
This is one of my go-tos! I love Thai food, and I love everything I have tried at Silver Dish! One of my favorites especially is Rad Na—which a lot of Thai restaurants actually don’t have, or make the way I’m used to my Thai friends making for me. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming!
Recommendations/my usual orders consist of: green curry, drunken noodles, and rad na. If ordering as a group, these 3 provide a good variety for you to share and are all delicious!
The avocado curry is very good!
Some of the worst tasting Thai food in Provo that I've had. Not good at all.
I’ve been coming to this place for years and I just LOVE it. It’s the perfect little Thai place, never a long wait, consistently good food. I always get the massman curry—would recommend. Every time I’m in Provo this is the first place I go.
We weren’t mega impressed with our noodles—the pad Thai was decent but not amazing, and the pad see ew had good flavor but was more cabbage than noodle. The curry was excellent though! Busy night so the wait was a little bit long but it seemed like they were understaffed so that’s totally understandable.
Very good pineapple curry and massaman curry. Staff were friendly and welcoming and service was great.
My favorite, Thai food in Utah county.. Great food, great owners! Still my favorite Thai food!
2/15/24 - updating my review because I continue to have good things to say every time I come here. This has become my favorite spot in Provo & we visit whenever we have something to celebrate. We’ve spent the last two Valentine’s Day here and have been so impressed with the service despite it being super busy. And the food never disappoints. Definitely check this place out, it’s worth the visit.
2/13/21 Delicious food and super friendly service. I got the Pad Thai and I was a huge fan. Will be returning next time I'm in Provo.
45 minutes to get an appetizer, no exaggeration. Food was terrible too. Go elsewhere.
Our food had tons of flavor. I had the Silver Dish Combo, my wife had the Masaman Curry and my son had the Silver Dish Trio. I sampled them all and they were all good. We had a party of 13 and they got us seated fairly quickly (about 20-30 minutes). The servers were all polite and friendly. We have been looking for a good Thai place since MeKong in Springville called it a career and I think we just found it. We will go back.
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Provo area. The restaurant is pretty small with limited decoration, but the food has always been delicious and I’ve never been disappointed with it.
I love getting the mango curry or pad Thai.
There is plenty of parking along center st or nearby, and it’s nice being in a convenient central location.
The last time I visited the service was chaotic because it was Friday night and they were understaffed, so they were just bringing out random dishes to whichever tables as they finished, and so I had my food like 8 minutes before the person I was dining with. But given it’s a small business and it was busy, I felt like things like this happen sometimes.
Excellent food, great and friendly waitstaff. Perfect for family meals, business dinners, date night or any other event.
We love this place! Food and service are excellent!!

I SWEAR THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD GUYS!!!!,! Ok technically we had no food, BUT I you count the lemon in the water, I give the food 2000 stars! And the water itself, ooooo. It was so refreshing, like I can't even, the guy that served us was top notch, great experience, definitely would come here again and actually try some food.
Almost no meat. Good flavors and sauces. But protein is an important part of my diet, not just carbs.
Unbeatable spring rolls, excellent panang & green curry here.
This place is fantastic. We travel almost 50 miles round trip to eat here, and are NEVER disappointed. My favorite is the Massaman Curry, and my husband really likes the Pumpkin Curry, but everything we have tried has been top notch. The service is fast and friendly. Beware, they do get busy when there are events going on, but the wait is ALWAYS worth it.
Extraordinarily underrated!! I couldn't resist trying the Lychee Curry. Now it's my go-to when I want savory but also summery. It's very very good. I ordered it with no meat, just vegetables, which included bell peppers, bamboo shoots, broccoli, snap peas, and cucumbers. I enjoyed it very much.
We truly enjoyed the service, the staff are warm and welcoming 😊
A bowl of soup is a large, family style portion. I thought I'd mention it since I'm used to small, appetizer-sized soups, but the soups at Silver Dish could constitute a whole meal for one or a side for several people.
Great food, though I would like to request much more powerful spiciness. I asked for level 4 and barely felt it, and this is not even a flex, though I do often flex over my capacity to eat spicy food. Let's ramp it up! No pressure.
One of my favorite Thai places in the valley!
This place was so yummy and the atmosphere was very nice and cozy. I was recommended this place by some classmates. I was not disappointed!
We have decided to check out as many of the highly reviewed Thai food places as we can over the next few months. This one was our second after Thai Drift in Orem.
The food was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the variety of vegetables in the very flavorful red curry. The fresh spring rolls were very good, although I would not have minded a little bit of cilantro in them. We also enjoyed the drunken noodles with tofu because the tofu was tasty, and the noodles were very well seasoned.
I asked for spice level 3 out of 5 for my curry, and at least it had a little heat, but I thought it would have a little more kick at that level.
Last food note: I don't know when Thai restaurants agreed that they would stop serving jasmine rice, but I wish this were not the case. Unfortunately, this is one of the restaurants that does not serve jasmine rice.
The service was excellent, the food came out in a timely manner, and we had a good time overall.
Pretty good food, only issue I encountered was I ordered the massaman curry and they forgot the best part, the cashews! 😞
Walked out before our food even got to the table after having a really sickly mouse approach me and my husband. So disgusting!
Very nice. Excellent food. The menu is very much in the Thai style hot/mild. The restaurant is very decorated. Totally enjoyed the experience.
Been here a couple times and the pad Thai and drunken noodles never taste very fresh. Also the curries are more watery than other Thai places. Not bad, but not our favorite.
They’re messed up.
A great place to go for lunch! A complete meal and great service. If you like Thai (or any Asian food) Silver Dish is a must-try
Been coming here since 2016!! This place has one of the best Thai food in town. I’ve had majority of their dishes and they all have been amazing. No matter how picky you are, there is something on the menu for you. My personal dish is the massaman chicken curry. Then for dessert the mango sticky rice.
Great food and great service
This place was horrible. The owner was rude and kicked us out at 1:30 stating that he is practicing Covid hours? Food was bad and I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode. Very unpleasant experience.
Definitely a good place to try Thai food. The dishes took a little long to arrive to our table, but the place was busy (there was a conference on the corner). The wait was worth it because the dishes we ordered were delicious!
Delicious food, amazing people and service! We have come in 3 times in the week and half we have been here.
Kid friendly and vegetarian options too! Easy atmosphere and pleasant place to be able to have s conversation or if you have people that get overstimulated with lots of noise this is a great place!
Tom Kha soup! You can tell the quality of any Thai food restaurant by the Tom Kha soup. This place is now my new favorite place. Good thing I got some extra to go. And the massaman curry! Oh man. So, so good. I literally drove past 4 Thai food places to eat here tonight. I will be back. So many times.
The yellow curry is fantastic!!
Great Pad Thai and Massaman Curry
Great food! Also very helpful for our big takeout order!
People were so accommodating!!
Great place! Highly recommend
I live in American Fork, but go all the way to Provo because this is by far the best Thai in the valley!
the food is really good and the service has always been prompt and polite. the food is also really well priced which makes it an inexpensive date. the atmosphere is usually pretty quite making for a pleasant experience.
We always get the pad, Thai and red curry. Some of the best red curry in Utah.
Delicious
Great food and quick, polite service. We had Panang Curry and Pad Thai and they were both delicious. The fried ice cream was also delicious. They make it with tapioca dough instead of the cornflake batter like many restaurants use.
The food is really good! I had the avocado curry and was super impressed. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. Service was polite but a little slow, plan accordingly.
We came here after Dry Bar. Food was fresh and delicious!! Service was good, but like everywhere they were understaffed. But they still did a great job.
We got the pad Thai and drunken noodles. The pad Thai was so bland and flavorless we didn’t even finish it. The texture of it was also slightly disgusting. The drunken noodle was slightly better but also lacked flavor but the texture wasn’t as repulsive. I’ve been to countless Thai food restaurants and this was a very disappointing experience. My recommendation is to go to golden Thai instead.
Absolutely amazing curries! Great service!
Friendly staff, good recommendations, and the best curry in Provo. Lunch portions are big and the price is a great deal.
Amazing food. We were told to eat here from our former BYU student daughter. Great Great food!
Best Thai I’ve ever had (besides maybe some food I’ve had in Thailand)! They catered our wedding. We’ve tried many of the Thai restaurants in Utah and nothing is quite as consistently good as silver dish!
They have the best yellow curry I have every had. I never order anything else because it is So Good.
The service was very quick and the food tasted great! Went for my birthday with some friends and without even being prompted our server noticed we were celebrating a birthday and brought out a dessert for the table. So thoughtful and attentive!
The pineapple and also mango curry were very very good!
Thanks for everything 😀
We love Thai food! Silver Dish didn't disappoint!! We went about 45 minutes before closing. The service was fast and happy to serve. The food was amazing!!! We are so happy to have found a Thai place closer to home!!!
Best Thai I've ever had
By far the best Thai food I’ve had in the valley. I always leave happy!
Met up with some family and friends for lunch. Pretty good 👍
This food was delicious. I want to go to more Thai places but this place was great. The staff was super friendly and gave some great recommendations. The potstickers were nice and crunchy, but I loved the Yellow Curry. I chose the chicken as a protein option, and the bamboo shoots in it were also great. The drunken noodles were also really good! I really enjoyed this place and had an overall great experience. Hope to come back soon!
Great Thai food and nice attentive staff. Eaten here several times and consistently a very good experience.
This is hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had in Utah and possibly anywhere else. Typically one or two dishes are great but others are so so. Not here. Every. Single. Dish. Was amazing! We got Tom Kha, drunken noodles, papaya salad, massamang curry. The workers were great.
Basically if you aren’t coming here for Thai you’re doing it wrong.
Great service, clean place, food was good, but not amazing. Prices are decent around $10-$15
Great food, quick for takeout. We love this place. All the curry’s are great as well as the silver dish noodles and drunken noodles.
Food was fabulous and felt authentic!! We tried the beef waterfall, masaman curry, Panang curry, and spring rolls. All were amazing. Great service by Kelsey too!
One of my favorite Thai places in the area. Both the fried rice and noodle dishes are good, you can’t go wrong. Personal favorite are the drunken noodles!
I'm not a Thai connoisseur, but this place is amazing and is probably best enjoyed with four or more people who are willing to share dishes. The pineapple curry is deceptively delicious.
The food was amazing! I’ve been trying to find good thai food in utah country and this is definitely the best place I’ve tried, both due to the quality/taste of food and the friendly service. We tried the Som Tum, the Silverdish noodles, and the Pad thai and all were 10/10
The food was very good. The staff was busy but attentive. We will be back.
THE BEST THAI FOOD seriously it's amazing. My favorite place in Utah so far (and yes I've tried lots of Thai places haha) They are so fast and nice and yummy :)
Amazing. The food is so delicious - and when we told one of the servers, he said, "I'll give my mom a hug, she's the cook." Which is so adorable and sweet. The food was also the right temperature - you only had to wait a moment for it to cool. Very clean and orderly, outlets at every table along the walls, which is handy. Server gave us just the right amount of time to look at the menu and was prompt about taking our order, brought us extra water without needing to ask, checked in right as we were finishing and was prompt with the check. No hurry or agitation. Everything was just right. I would eat here again and again (this is my third or fourth time).
Our server left the restaurant after taking our order. He wasn't fired or anything, i think that good shift was just over. I guess that it did order got out into the kitchen because we eventually did get our food. But I'm pretty sure that it was just the owners, the guy and his wife running the whole thing.
We were there for lunch hour and my buddy had to take off to get to a meeting, before everyone had gotten their food. The whole thing was too fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants for me. We never did get our drinks, however, on the bright side, they didn't try to charge us for them either.
Don't go expecting a quick meal. Go of you have quite a bit of time and someone interesting to talk to.
Three good was pretty good. I liked my drunken noodles.
Good luck. You might really enjoy it.
The food
Took 15 people there and everyone loved it.
This is my family’s favorite Thai place in Provo. So good!! I love the Massaman curry. I get it every time.
Such delicious food and excellent service! I had the green curry and it was yummy! They give you good portions of rice, which is helpful. And the bathrooms were super clean and nice!
The pumpkin curry and pineapple curry are delicious!
So yummy
Our favorite Thai place! Everything is delicious and everyone is friendly.
Every dish we ordered was delicious!
Doordashed an order from Silver Dish Thai and got the chicken massaman curry and sweet rice with mango. The massaman curry was super salty, the chicken was dry, but the potatoes and carrot were soft and tender. The sweet rice was not very good. The mangos were so mushy and flavorless. It was honestly surprising that it looks so put together in my photo. The sweet sauce over the compressed disk of rice was an interesting display for a dessert. I'll have to try something else from their menu next time and give it another chance. I was not very impressed with what I received.

So goood! My favorite Thai spot. I recommend the basil fried rice with shrimp.
What a hidden gem!! I didn't know that this was even here until we arrived. It's a cosy little place with just the right Ballance of privacy and inclusion. The menu was full of great options and I ate everything on my plate. It was filling and I probably couldn't have eaten another bite, although I sure wanted to order more. Thank you!!!
My dad ordered food for him, my mom, and my family. The food was not ready when he went to pick it up and from the sounds of what he told us the order was completely forgotten until he called them on his phone standing in their lobby asking where our food was since nobody was around. From the descriptions of the food, it was supposed to be good stir fried food. When he had gotten back to my place we opened the food and it was not fried. It looked like it was boiled and tasted like it too. All of us had to add seasonings to even add any real flavor to the food. I had to fry the dishes up to make them taste decent. The sides we okay, but not decent enough to bring the rating up. Super disappointed all together.
Unfortunately, our order for our family was forgotten, a large order came out time-stamped 10 minutes after I had ordered, and delivered 10 minutes before ours showed up. 50 minutes after my phone order placed, with only a curt “yeah, sorry for the wait” without any sincerity. Then when we got home to eat, dripping all over the bags that had not been overturned, was very soupy, and the seasoning was absolutely missing. Barely salted. I don’t write negative reviews, but this was quite disappointing for a restaurant that has a 4.7 star rating. All boiled, not fried. Sad. Won’t be back.
Pumpkin curry and avocado curry!! The worlds best! Yum!
This was fantastic Thai! Our waitress, Kelsey was very attentive and friendly and knowledgeable! I had Peach Curry and it was amazing!
Awesome spot.
Best thai food I've had in Utah!
It was closed for too damn long!!
Our favorite place to go eat. Everything is amazing.
Wonderful service and absolutely delicious Thai food!
I had the silver dish trio, and it was some of the best curry I've ever had. Very good food. They seem very understaffed so hopefully they are able to hire some more people.
Clean, good service, good food comfortable atmosphere. 👌
The pumpkin curry is excellent. Anytime we get anything here it is delicious. The dining room is a little small, but this place is worth it. I have not been in since they remodeled. I'm excited to go back and see what they did.
I wish I could eat here every day
This is my roommate and mine’s absolute FAVORITE Thai place we’ve been to in Utah. The prices are reasonable and the food is always so very fresh. It has a cute vibe because it’s on center street and the staff is very attentive. Have been multiple times and will continue to go :)
For Thai food, silver Dish Thai is definitely average. It is OK if you’ve never been to Thailand and had Thai food there, but it’s definitely not a place that I prioritize for getting Thai food.
That being said their pad Thai is alright, their pad see ew is a bit underwhelming, people really love the panang curry, and the service is nice, and it’s in a really convenient location.
Best tasting (and priced!) Thai food in the Provo/Orem area and I've tried them all. I've even gone to American fork on Sunday when Silver Dish is closed. Hands down the top Thai food you'll find outside actual Thailand. Generous portions, family owned and operated, simply good people.
All the curries are 🔥
Best Thai Cuisine in Utah County !
Absolutely amazing experience. Staff forgot something in one of our entrees. We asked about it nicely, they felt terrible gave us a whole new entree to go as compensation. We didn't even ask for it. Absolutely amazing
I’m not from Utah so I had a lot more options for diverse yummy food and I have found it hard to find good Thai food. This place had decent curry and appetizers compared to lots of other places, where you can tell they use curry sauce from a packet.
I don't like giving poor ratings but I feel it is necessary after my first and last experience going here.... very mediocre Thai dishes I've had tonight at this restaurant... and honestly the only good thing going for this restaurant is their location, location, location.... giving everyone fair warning.... nothing authentic about this place at all with their dishes except maybe their Thai decorations.
I ordered their drunken noodles and green thai curry here and both were great! They have an excellent price point as well! I like that their portions are bigger than a lot of other thai restaurants. Their lunch menu is only $8.99 and you get a pot sticker and a tiny salad! That price point just very difficult to beat here in Utah.
Delicious food. Also fantastic service. Server was nice and accomodating and the food has come out faster than we expected every time we've been here. The yellow curry was outstanding and the spring rolls were perfect. Great location on center street. The windows are really great and the inside feels like it has plenty of space and classy while still feeling cozy and nice.
Their tom yum soup has become my new favorite dish!
We love the Silver Dish! Our favorite place to eat when we are in Provo!
Fried Rice is pretty bland. Thai iced tea was amazing though!
Very delicious thai food!
