The food is not very good. We ordered extra meat but the meat came frozen. When we asked them to reheat it they just fried it on one side, the meat was still frozen. The egg roll was VERY bad we could not finish it. I will never come back

Diner Review №2

Cute little shop.
Got some sushi and a to-go curry

Diner Review №3

Stay away from ordering from here! They use UberEats for delivery. While ordering my food they were promising to deliver within 25 minutes. As soon as I clicked and placed my order (over $40) the delivery time changed to 2.5 hours!? Within a second I cancelled my order, yet, they still charged me for the entire order. Don’t order food from here, they are deceitful. Please refund me!

Diner Review №4

I’m not a huge ramen fan but it was good I did finish most of my ramen I ordered the shoyu broth with toro ramen. I wish there was more meat in my ramen. I stopped eating pork so there wasn’t a lot of non pork options I would prefer if they also had a vegetarian selection. A good thing about toro is that they were fast and they are open later compared to all the ramen places closing around 9-10 which is a rare find in UT.

Diner Review №5

I think this location is under new management and you can absolutely tell, and not in a good way. I used to love the tonkotsu broth and char sui, but this last order was awful. The broth was bland and didn't have the same velvety texture, and the pork was over cooked and chewy. The pork portions have gotten smaller too. Don't waste your time here. Disappointment all around.

Diner Review №7

Read the reviews on this one, avoid overpriced mediocre food that can get you sick in a place that smells like a sewer. The owners telling people in reviews "send it back if u don't like it sorry we cant make u happy" is really poor business.

Diner Review №8

Really good service and food! We tried the tum yum chicken ramen and pork tum yum and it was exceptionally delicious. Definitely recommend this place. My kids also loved the spring rolls and gyozas.

Diner Review №9

Diner Review №10

Best Ramen and Pho we've had in a while. Owner and staff were so kind and we got our food quickly! We will definitely be going back!

Diner Review №11

The food is excellent-probably my current favorite ramen place. I came here several times a while back, but haven't had the opportunity to return until recently. They've expanded their menu quite a bit and offer more than just ramen. I'm sure it's also good, but the reason I'm here is for the noodles, so I haven't tried the other stuff.
The space is a bit small and can be crowded and noisy. My only real complaint, though, is the payment process. They bring you a terminal and then hover over you as you select a tip account. The suggested tips start at 20% and go up from there, which is a bit presumptuous. As I was trying to calculate what a normal 15% tip would be, the server tried to "help" me along. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he probably just thought I was unsure what to do next, but it felt like I was being prodded to choose one of the suggested 20%+ options. It felt very awkward and I didn't like it.
Aside from that snafu, it was a positive experience and we really enjoyed the food.

Diner Review №12

This joint is truly amazing!!! Always spot on with food and service. I’m a ramen connoisseur who has lived in slc my whole life. By far the best in the valley!!

Diner Review №13

Service was pretty good, appetizers were alright, but the ramen was NOT GOOD. I’m not one to share reviews but I ended up spending $75 on 2 people for terrible ramen. Do not recommend what so ever.

Diner Review №14

I love this place so much. Food and service are always excellent. I've been here several times, and the every ramen and sushi I've had is always a delight. I always leave wondering why I don't come here more often. Also, the owner is one of the most sweetest and kindest people who truly cares about people and the quality of service she provides.
Thank you and the staff so much for always providing a great experience.
😎 👍

Diner Review №16

Service was slow, food was pretty good, but not worth the wait time.

Diner Review №17

Diner Review №18

The steamed pork buns were decent, though a bit overcooked. But the ramen was legitimately some of the worst I’ve had.

I tried to take a number of bites and give it a chance, but just couldn’t bring myself to eat the rest of the dish and left the whole thing, which is rare for me. The tofu was cold in the center, the noodles resembled spaghetti, and the Tonkatsu broth was bland, lacking the depth and richness you’d expect from even a basic broth. Overall, it felt like eating boxed pasta with a weak, canned clam sauce.

The server was friendly and the atmosphere was fine, which the only reason I can give one star.

While I don’t enjoy being harsh in my reviews, I feel responsible for letting ramen enthusiasts know: this is *not* the place you want to eat.

Diner Review №20

Ownership changed. Not as good as they used to be.

Diner Review №21

Super delicious, great service, cozy place. I'm so glad we chose them tonight.

Diner Review №22

I'm just picking up doordash and there are two customers at a table. The order is 15 minutes late now, and the woman who I assume is the owner is walking around in a hoodie, which is super tacky with everyone else in uniform. If you want food quick, I wouldn't get it from here.

Diner Review №23

Loved it! Was surprised it was open on Christmas day.

Diner Review №24

There’s a local spot I recently visited that serves both pho and ramen, and it’s nothing short of amazing. The ramen bowls are rich and indulgent, with creamy, umami-packed broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings like tender pork and marinated eggs that melt in your mouth. Each bite feels like pure comfort. On the other hand, their pho is a lighter, fragrant masterpiece with a deeply flavorful broth that’s clearly been simmered for hours. The rice noodles are silky, and the fresh herbs, lime, and jalapeños let you customize each bite to perfection. What I love most is how both dishes showcase such distinct flavors—one hearty and bold, the other light and refreshing—yet both leave you completely satisfied. It’s become one of my favorite spots to enjoy a flavorful and comforting meal.

UPDATED REVIEW-

Avoid Toro Ramen at all costs. My kids and I all became severely sick after eating their pork belly ramen. Symptoms started within a few hours, which aligns with foodborne illnesses like Staphylococcus aureus (Staph) or Bacillus cereus, both of which can cause sickness within 30 minutes to 6 hours after eating.

When I called to notify the restaurant, the manager dismissed my concerns, claiming, "You can't get sick after three hours of eating," which is completely false. Their lack of accountability and concern for customer safety was shocking. If we end up needing medical care, they will absolutely be responsible for covering the hospital bills.

After further research, I found many other reviews describing similar experiences of getting sick after eating here. This seems to be a recurring issue.

Adding to this, Toro Ramen has a history of health code violations. They have been cited for issues such as improper food handling and lack of cleanliness in their kitchen. This is public record and should be a serious warning to anyone considering dining here. The owner's dismissive attitude, combined with these violations, shows a lack of accountability and respect for customer safety.

The food wasn't even good, and the risk is not worth it. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Diner Review №29

Really good tonkotsu broth and the egg rolls are amazing. Love that they are open later.

Diner Review №30

Yummers

Diner Review №31

Excellent and this is a go to place for us. Ramen is amazing and sushi is too. Service is perfect.

Diner Review №32

This place is very expensive for what we got. Ordered pho, and they gave me some bean sprouts that were close to turning bad and som wilted basil. Chicken was dry and pho broth was pretty flavorless. With as much as the food is you’d think it would be clean and nice. But the walls are damaged and dirty and the floor was gross too. Not interested in returning.

Diner Review №33

I come here every week and get the meat lover’s ramen because it’s so good! Fahim is a wonderful and friendly server as well!

Diner Review №34

The food was horrible horrible horrible!! 🤮
I would have rated it 0* but fortunately for them there isn't that choice

Diner Review №35

Finding a restaurant open late is ways so hard. I'm so glad that not only is Toro open but straight up the best tonkotsu I've ever had!!!

Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Diner Review №36

Diner Review №37

Sushi is super expensive for the quality! It was hard to eat it, big chunk of lime on top and the " spicy mayo" on top taste like regular mayo, super bad flavor 🤮 almost 18 for the roll, but the ingredients didn't match up with what we received. The other food was ok, but the sushi put a sour taste in our mouths.

Diner Review №38

Love this place, been coming here for the past two years and believe that this is the best ramen in the valley.

Diner Review №39

Amazing Ramen place in Utah. I could die for Tonkotsu broth. So rich and creamy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Lastly, don’t forget to try their steam-bun 🤌🏻 Highly recommend 🙌🏻

Diner Review №40

I had their Chicken Katsu for months now and I just can’t have enough of it. Ramen also highly recommended! I love supporting small local businesses and Toro is one of my most favorite places to go to❤️.

Diner Review №41

Pho beef very good taste not bad but ramen Karai better

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Ordered ramen and the worst ramen I've ever eaten. I don't usually write a review but had to this time. The broth was lukewarm and the noodles were cold. $16+$2 (thick noodle) for such ramen. Overpriced.

Diner Review №44

It hurt my feelings to leave no tip. I was very disappointed at Pho. It was just like rice noodles and pork in lukewarm water. Very tasteless.

Diner Review №45

Ramen-Thai restaurant. I'm not sure about the Thai food, but I don't think the ramen really succeeds here. They offer a variety of broths and also different choices for the noodle for some prices that are maybe slightly too high! However, once the food came, the noodles, though fresh, were too starchy and clumped together in a dough ball. The broth was not bad but lacked the deep umami one expects with ramen. The chashu was good, but not tender. Overall, not horrible food, but it lacks the quality I expect of good ramen.

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

Ordered $100 in sushi to receive $90 in disappointment, 30 minutes later than we were told our pick up time would be. The shrimp skewers were alright, all 4 of the rolls were totally underwhelming and extremely overpriced. Will not ever get sushi from here again.

Diner Review №48

I was waiting for my kiddo at the skate park and looked up food nearby - sushi sounded good and it had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. I've had way better sushi at Smith's. The fish wasn't super fresh, and the "spicy tuna" was old, sliced tuna with a little bit of sauce on it, not what I'm used to. I also had the playboy and the gyoza - meh to it all, especially at the price. The gyoza could have been excellent, but they burned the dumplings. We ended up throwing away an entire rolls worth, out of two. I probably would not go again, even though the ramen looked tempting. Service was great, employees were friendly and it looked pretty clean.

Diner Review №49

Things have changed here. This was my go to spot. Every week I was here. I have been in recently and the quality and taste has changed. It is so much worse. The Pho was awful, the ramen is subpar. So sad. This was such a great place and it has gone down hill.

Diner Review №50

New owners.

Ramen NOT AT ALL THE SAME as original Toro Ramen which served authentic, sweet and savory, mouthwatering, Mongolian Ramen.

Vegetarian Ramen, which was absolute favorite in years past, now made with “miso-flavored chicken broth”. 😔
Very salty and tasted fake. Headache after eating. Asked for nutritional menu. Non available. Tofu almost inedible.

Music very loud.

Seats uncomfortable.

Cold.

Sadly, will not be back.

Goodbye forever.

Diner Review №51

Super overpriced for what you get especially in comparison to other ramen places in the valley. The ramen was the definition of underwhelming and the takoyaki was downright disappointing.

They also forgot my softboiled egg which is an unforgivable sin by ramen standards. 0/10 will not slurp again.

Diner Review №52

come in for the first time cause its nearby my work. never again! THE WORST chicken drunken noodle in my entire life! There was barely any noodles in the bowl. I found probably 2 soggy broken pieces of noodle stick in the bottom. The chicken and vieggies are bland, no flavor. Threw the whole bowl away after a few bites!

Diner Review №53

The food is always delicious! It is extra fatty but that is rather expected from the tile of food. The broth is amazing! It is unfortunately very expensive now. Cost me a little over $40 for a bowl of ramen, a chicken appetizer, and a soft boiled egg. Very tasty food though.

Diner Review №54

Taste correct. A bit overpriced. Tip start at 18%.

Diner Review №55

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

i don't typically want to write negative reviews but i feel like this one is important. if possible, avoid this place at all costs. i ordered the pho and my husband ordered the chicken ramen. we shared a sushi roll. the pho was so incredibly bland that in order to have any flavor i had to dump in chili sauce and soy sauce. and the sprouts that they had served with the pho were brown and soggy— i wish i had taken a photo. the sushi was so gross. almost certain this food is the culprit of my sickness last night.

Diner Review №58

Love the Veggie Tempura and Croqquette. Chicken Ramen was also very creamy and soothing

Diner Review №59

The Ramen was not great. Drunken noodles was burnt and did not have flavor, the sushi was also ok and not stellar. Thai fried rice was ok, but skip on the shrimp. Not flavorful and cooked way too long.

Diner Review №60

Our server was very nice and attentive, and the food was very good. Table was a little sticky and it was a little too hot inside for me but I get it, not everything can be perfect. 🤷‍♂️ The food was good enough that I’d definitely go back.

Diner Review №61

The food was really good and fresh! Me and my friends love the appetizers and the ramen, we would recommend the meat lovers ramen!

Diner Review №62

The only reason I did not eat here was because of the prices. Seven dollars for 3 pieces of takoyaki? Along with 16 Dollars for rolls? I know of other places that are just as good if not better than Toro Ramen. We drove out to find out there’s new management and outrageous prices. We were excited and decided it wasn’t worth it.

Diner Review №63

I'm glad I decided to give this place another chance. I had the opportunity to meet with the owner and tried their Original Ramen again. This time, it was excellent—they really captured the flavors I originally fell in love with. I'm happy I came back and look forward to returning in the future!

Diner Review №64

We tried the tonkotsu and soy mixed broth with chicken ramen as well as the yellow curry. Both dishes were delicious and it was plenty of food to fill us.

Diner Review №65

Soooo delicious and lots of food too!

Diner Review №66

The service was slow from the moment we walked in. we had to take our drink cups up to the counter to get refills even though they saw our empty cups when cleaning the tables next to us. The ramen was undercooked and the egg had a weird sour smell. when telling the server that it was undercooked and smelled weird and that it was making me sick. she said she would talk to the manager and they refused to do anything about it. Bad service and not accommodating at all. They should’ve at least offered a new cooked meal or a discounted price for that meal as I took a single bite from the ramen and didn’t eat the rest. Would not recommend if you’re looking for good ramen and good service! Definitely not worth $50 and should’ve read the reviews before coming as the common trend is that customer service is not accommodating when there is something wrong. We are in town for our honeymoon and this food made me sick because of the undercooked meat.

Diner Review №67

I promise you, when I say this is the best ramen I’ve had in the Salt Lake area, I am not exaggerating! 10/10 can’t wait to go again.

Diner Review №68

Diner Review №69

Went for lunch yesterday. Food was OK, but we asked the server to split the bill. My colleague paid cash for his, I paid with a card for mine. Turns out she charged the entire amount to my card and took all of his cash as a tip.

Disappointed. We won't be back.

Diner Review №70

Another Ramen review for the books & this place did not disappoint! Went here with one of my friends who also is a big fan of ramen. Parking was easy, it is a small little place. We were able to get a table right away & service quickly. We ordered the Croquette’s to share. I’ve never had these. They were like a deep fried mashed potato type appetizer with some veggies in it. They were delicious! I’ll be looking for these on menus from now on. We shared an avocado roll as well. The avocado roll was so fresh. One of my favorite avocado rolls I’ve ever had. They brought us some complimentary egg rolls & these were good. I really liked the dipping sauce for these. I ordered the veggie ramen. I loved this ramen! One of my favorites I’ve had,  honestly. The miso broth was flavored to perfection. The shiitake mushrooms had really good flavor. Sometimes I’m a little weird with mushrooms in my ramen, but I really liked these mushrooms. I wish it came with a full egg, but I suppose I could have added in an extra egg. The ramen bowl was decent size for the price paid. Loved that they didn’t skimp out on the broth as well. Sometimes I feel like I run out of broth for my ramen, which is the worst. My friend ordered the Taro Ramen with tonkotsu broth and beef short ribs. She enjoyed this dish as well. Highly recommend.

Diner Review №71

First time here, and definitely returning ! If anyone gets to know Dow you are lucky. Had such a great time with amazing food.

Diner Review №72

Service was pretty good. The sushi…wow… the sushi was really bad. Obscenely overpriced too. I paid $35 for two small rolls and a soda.

Diner Review №73

Love this place! The mushrooms used in the veggie ramen are to die for! The food is amazing, the steam buns are a must, and the atmosphere is great!

Diner Review №74

Today I drove pass union park I feel hungry I was looking for ramen place top up toro ramen this is the first time I got original ramen tonkatsu broth and karage appetizer surprise me from now this will be my favorite place ….

Diner Review №75

We came in late after going to lagoon and order Togo (they open for Togo until 12am), and it hit the spot. We went the day after and hit was even better, the services were friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. Highly recommend this place !

Diner Review №76

Overpriced

Diner Review №77

Absolutely loved how friendly the owner and staff was, food was amazing and just what we were looking for! Pork to die for and the new pho recipe was great- we'll be coming back again!

Diner Review №78

Ramen is very good. The vibe and the staff is really nice. Recommend to eat tonkatsu ramen.

Diner Review №79

Rude, inconsiderate, and will just refuse to make your order that you already paid for if they don't feel like it and take your money. I would stay away from here.

Diner Review №80

Anyone giving this place more than 3 stars didn't eat here when it opened. When it opened it was one of the greatest places in town, somewhat steep but affordable prices that the food was worthy of. The tofu were small golden cubes of soft flavor-sponge a year ago, but now they are that cheap over-fried hard tofu you find at every Thai restaurant in Utah. They added Thai food to their menu and made the prices almost 25% higher! It blows my mind how much more expensive this place is now, and how much worse the quality has become. Such a shame because this place was exceptional and unique when it opened: a place with a vision and competitive ramen flavor as the focus. Now they have broadened their menu to in doing so, dropped quality of the food, and hugely spiked prices.

Diner Review №81

Do not get the pho, unless you like bath water broth. So expensive for nothing.

Diner Review №82

The food is very good, a very pleasant experience, the attention is very particular, I really liked the original Ramen, and the variety of sushi they offer is surprising. I recommend it .

Diner Review №83

The food is really great and the waiter (Whan )very nice also and she very kindly .

Diner Review №84

The best Ramen in Utah love sosososo much all employees are very good

Diner Review №85

My co-worker spoke highly of this place so gave it a try. I got the meat lovers ramen with the blend. I was pleasantly surprised how much flavor this came with. Plus the meat was very tender and noodles just right.

I also ordered the bullet train and Spicy role. The Bullet Train stole the show as everyone at the table wanted more.

Diner Review №86

Best place to find a good food at midnight! Open until midnight but to go only. Overall it was great!

Diner Review №87

This place is open till midnight but only for takeout.
We reached around 10 and we were told that they are only taking takeout orders so we ordered fried rice, egg rolls, pad thai. We also wanted sushi but they initially told us they had no rice but later came back with the sushi somehow.
The fried rice and egg rolls were good. Pad Thai wasn't great. Sushi was the worst. It was supposed to have hamachi and salmon but they only gave us salmon in it and that too was definitely not sushi grade fish. You could see the white residue on it that forms after keeping it for a few days. I definitely don't recommend it.

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

Best Ramen in town.

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Everything was great and the owner was very nice :) highly recommend the ramen.

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

The ramen I had was fine, not great. The real kicker is the overpriced menu. I had one bowl of ramen for lunch and paid $16.64 before adding a tip.

Diner Review №94

I am sad to be writing this review today. For some reason, this place has been going downhill since last year with prices going up by almost 50% (not an exaggeration). This place used to be my number one spot for ramen where ramen bowls just a couple of years ago were anywhere from $12-$14 but now they are anywhere from $17-$20.

I don’t know what happened but I can tell there is new ownership in this restaurant. The quality has gone down significantly. Literally everything has changed. This is the portion of “chicken karaaage” that I got the other day. Literally 7-8 tiny portions of chicken for $9 DOLLARS when in the past, they were much larger for a cheaper price. I included another picture of how this dish should actually look like

This is sadly probably the last time I will be coming here. Me and my wife spent over $60 with tip and we SHARE one ramen along with a couple of appetizers and one tiny sushi roll for $15. We both got waters. How is it possible that I’m now spending over $60 dollars for worse quality food now? It’s absurd and sad.

I now recommend either samurai noodle or Toshs ramen over this place.

Diner Review №95

Diner Review №96

Diner Review №103

I absolutely love this ramen place, great service and food every time I come here!
The steam buns are to die for! 😍😍

The good review above was for the previous owners/food/restaurant .
This restaurant is now garbage and the new owners are brats. Stay away! Food is horrible, service is horrible, owners constantly yell at the workers, and prices have gone up like crazy for the horrible quality.

Diner Review №104

Diner Review №105

This place was great and I still stand by the quality of the food. But the prices are, from my experience the most expensive in the state. I can recommend it when you can go somewhere else and get two items there for the price of one item here.

Diner Review №106

Everything is well prepared and delicious with a variety of options. Out of all the ramen joints, this is the only one my family wants to go to and I agree. The ramen is very delicious!

Good restaurant to have a casual ramen. Like average I may say. It’s good but not outstanding. It’s my husband’s favorite restaurant for ramen but personally it doesn’t hit the spot for me to be crazy about it. Service is good, atmosphere is really nice because is almost always empty.

Diner Review №111

One of the best ramen in Salt Lake City. Soup is flavorful and freshness! I like it and will definitely come again.

Diner Review №112

Consistently some of the best ramen in Utah. The chashu ramen and karaage are always must-have items on their menu. 10/10

Diner Review №113

If I was dying of starvation I’d still not eat there again. Top Ramen better all day. Poor service, EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Stay away at all costs. (If I could give it 0 stars I would)

Diner Review №118

Diner Review №119

The menu is very diverse, ramen, Thai curry, Korean galbitang, AND sushi?

And service is good - they work the front of house staff hard, but are rewarded in turn with great service.

Food itself is not particularly memorable tho, which is always a hazard when your menu is so ambitious.

Diner Review №125

They serve sushi, curry, and ramen. Thought that was weird. The place was dirty with broth remanence on the wall at lunch time. Ordered the spicy pork tonkatsu with a water. Extremely underwhelming with canned corn in the broth, half an egg, and minimal meat. Basically bland broth and noodles. Paid about $19.00!! Definitely wont be back.

Diner Review №126

Good was good for short order dining.

Diner Review №127

The ramen is unbelievable. So tasty. I usually like jinya but I think toro the tonkotsu broth and the mixed tonkotsu and shoyu broth were both super flavorsome and had a better consistency than jinya.

Diner Review №138

This place is great. We got ramen and sushi and both were excellent. The environment is cool and the service is tops!

Diner Review №139

I've been avoiding this place because my order is always wrong, but after trying elsewhere they are still the best in town. But now I just watched them pretty clearly give my to go order to someone else so back to finding somewhere where front of house isn't a continuous disaster.

Diner Review №140

Soooooo good. Omg. Can’t even type right now. Too full. So yummy. Thank you Nic

Diner Review №141

Wanted to try this place a few times before finally going in. The teriyaki madness next door throws you off, cause this place makes GREAT quality food. Sushi was amazing, ramen was super flavorful and filling, Japanese croquettes were perfectly crisp. I'll definitely be coming back!

Diner Review №142

Super nice staff. Kinda pricey for noodles. Though it tasted good, stomach was quite upset afterwards.

Diner Review №143

SUPER good ramen, friendly as heck wait staff, fast.

Diner Review №144

Diner Review №145

Diner Review №146

Diner Review №147

My absolute favorite. I wasn't expecting this little spot to win me over so seriously, but oh boy has it. The ramen is really good, but listen... Don't sleep on the Karaage Chicken or the rice bowls. I rolled the dice and got the Karaage instead of ramen once, and haven't looked back - it's phenomenal, even delivered.

The attached photo is the Chasu Rice Bowl with Karaage Chicken in the back.

Diner Review №148

The roman here is fantastic some of the beat ive had.

Diner Review №149

Ramen was exactly what we were looking for! The blend broth with the spicy pork is excellent! Can’t wait to come back!

Diner Review №150

Great services and ramen was good

Diner Review №151

When we came, the restaurant was pretty full, but we still were able to get a table right away. The waiter was pretty attentive, and came to the table to check on us. The food was pretty good, and the portions were pretty manageable. The green tea here is delicious.

Diner Review №152

Such a great place! Delicious food and good people.

Diner Review №153

Our server was really attentive. The food was phenomenal. Definitely on my list of places to frequent!!

Diner Review №154

1st time at Toro and we had the cutest waiter Ethan, such a sweetheart. Food was excellent.

Diner Review №155

I loved my veggie ramen w miso broth dude

Diner Review №156

Diner Review №157

Wow. Best ramen. Ordered for delivery and loved that I could customize it any way I wanted. Portion size is great.

Diner Review №158

I love this place but man oh man what a misunderstanding with the manager and employee. They forgot my appetizer and charged me and said if I come in next time, they’ll give a free item. I came in next time, and they tried to say they took the appetizer price off. No, you didn’t because that’s the appetizer I paid for last week so it’s not “free”. He didn’t understand the concept you can either refund me for that or give me an actual free additional appetizer to compensate. Misunderstanding. I think he was over my trying to explain where I was coming from and just said, “Then just take it, you won’t be charged.” The miscommunication gave me an annoying taste but I’ll still come here for the food lol.

It was our first time here, but it won't be our last. The ramen was very flavorful. We also had the potstickers and a chicken appetizer that were yummy! We would highly recommend.

Diner Review №160

Ramen was solid with a good variety of options. We had the spicy Pork and it was mild to medium heat for a perfect balance.

Diner Review №161

This place is fantastic! We tried two different types of ramen and the Flamingo Roll, and they were all incredibly delicious. The service was great, and the place was clean and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back!

Diner Review №162

Good food and the sushi is great too. Check this place out

Oh my gosh this place is so terrible. It's a sushi restaurant. Guess what? They're out of sushi rice. Ordered a water with a lot of ice. Guess what? They're out of ice. Walmart is right next door. Run to Walmart and get some rice and ice. It's not that hard. I had to run to Maverik to get some ice. You could have easily done the same. Worst restaurant ever. If I were the owner I'd be ashamed.

We had a great experience!! We got the Tarzan sushi roll, Toro ramen with thick noodles and the Blend broth, and the Meat Lovers ramen with thin noodles and Tonkotsu broth. All of it tasted great and there was plenty of it!! The sushi was obviously fresh. The broth on both of our ramens was delicious and flavorful. The noodles were a perfect consistency. Service was awesome as well. Both the servers working today were super sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back!!

Diner Review №168

Got some gyoza and croquettes as appetizers. Gyōza were nice and crispy and the croquettes were fried nicely with such a soft, tasty inside. The ramen itself was good but they don't give you much pork, and only half an egg. I'd recommend getting the extra pork to make it worth it. The tonkotsu broth is good but very rich and heavy. Overall a nice place and would come back again.

Diner Review №170

Diner Review №171

Ate here last night with my two sons and it instantly became our go-to place to eat when we are in this area. The food tasted amazing, the broth is phenomenal, the noodles are perfect in texture and taste. My 9yo gave this restaurant a 5-star too.

Nic waited on us. He must love his job because he gives the type of service that you want to have at every restaurant.

Mahalo Toro Ramen!

Diner Review №172

The ramen here is killer! The best I’ve had in a long time. They also have some great sushi rolls. It’s become our go to ramen place.

Diner Review №173

Great food and great service. Hunter, our server, was so great: nice, quick and attentive. If we lived here, we’d be regulars.

Went here with my son since he was interested in trying "real ramen". While the food was decent, I felt that the portion size left something to be desired at the price point. At the end of the meal my 10 year old had to order 2nds if that gives you an idea.

While the dining room was very clean, the women's bathroom was dirty and out of toilet paper as well as having a dirty sink.

Service was very friendly and often checked up on us. Thank you! :)

I'm really impressed with this Ramen bar! I usually go to Jinya, but Toro is a lot closer to me since it has been at this location so I tried it a couple of weeks ago and it's really good! I decided to go in by myself to sit down and enjoy a bowl this week. My server, Nic was awesome! Would recommend!

This is honestly, one of my absolute FAVORITE places to go. It’s become a regular for my husband and I. I’m our experience, most places by the 3rd or 4th time will give us some trouble here or there with wait, drink refills, hospitality, etc. Not here. Tonight was exceptionally busy, with only one person to wait tables and he was on top of it! All of their staff are kind, friendly, and so helpful. They recognize us when we come in at this point and it warms my heart. It’s all cooked by the order as well, none of it is frozen thawed. Amazing food. Amazing service. Would rate this place even higher if I could!!

Diner Review №183

My wife my favorite ramen place to go without a doubt. The staff are so so nice and super attentive. My drink is always refilled when I need it and they are super kind. It feels like a safe place to go. That’s not even mentioning the food. The FOOD. Oh my goodness this ramen is soooo good. From speaking with the staff they don’t do their broth from powder or anything. Their broth steams in the back all day and it shows. The noodles, broth, gyozo it is all fantastic. Highly recommend this place to everyone in the area and would even say it is worth a bit of a drive.

Love the ramen.j

Diner Review №185

Great options to create your own ramen (broth, noodles, sides, etc). Takoyaki was yummy and well made, nice side treat to the ramen. Nic the only server was attentive, friendly, managed several tables and provided great service. Would come back again.

Diner Review №186

Incredible food, great service, and great price.

Diner Review №187

Fast service, yummy filing food , this place has a cool vibe to it perfect for after shopping at Walmart (: we got the toro ramen with blend broth and wavy noodles

Diner Review №188

Best ramen restaurant I've tried in SLC. Great tasting broth, ample portions, reasonable prices. The karaage chicken is authentically fried and super tasty. Staff is super friendly too! Will definitely revisit~

Honestly was expecting more with the hype. You will get a good bowl of ramen but I felt like it was lacking umami. Got the original with the blended broth. Will definitely give it another chance and try something else.

Diner Review №191

Great place for some yummy ramen! Service was top notch!!

Diner Review №192

been there four times or so.
was served stale rice that could chip glass, the manager didn't care when told, and he looked at me like i was just making it up. it was pretty insulting and i'd rather not eat there again when he's on shift.

the tonkotsu is great, probably why it's a ramen shop. only reason i am giving it 4 stars and not less is because the ramen is pretty much the best bowl around town.

Waiter was extremely friendly and took care of us well. Plenty of delicious options, I’ve never had something here that I didn’t like!

Diner Review №197

El karague, Takoyaki son deliciosos!! Y el ramen no hay ningúna que sea mala!! Siempre voy aquí cada vez que quiero ramen.

Diner Review №198

I just had to take a moment to acknowledge Hunter. What a super valuable employee. He has such a fantastic attitude! He really took excellent care of us and all of the tables he was handling on his own. Talk about impressive.
He even remembered what one of the people in our party ordered, since they are a regular.
I was having a challenging day, but just being in his presence lifted my mood.
He reminds me of one of my favorite quotes, “Every moment we are happy is a gift to the world.” - Harry Palmer
His choice to show up and be happy is truly a gift to Toro and to all of us.

Diner Review №199

The food was really good and the service was great. Loved that they had fountain drinks unlike so many that just have canned sodas. Loved the sushi! Any time I’m feeling like sushi, I’ll be back.
