Thai restaurant
I heard the Pad Thai here is good from a food instagram blogger and it did not disappoint. I’ve had some really good Thai food in Thailand and this tasted close! The drunken noodles were delicious as well as the yellow curry. I’m not much of a curry person but definitely liked it. Service was so fast and so I would totally recommend this place.
Long story short: overpriced okay Thai food
For a Thai restaurant, the food was kind of bland. I got the Pad Thai with tofu. The tofu was perfectly cooked, but overall the dish just didn't have a lot of flavor. All the food looked beautiful though! A+ on presentation. The service was pretty mediocre. There was hardly anyone else in the restaurant but it took awhile for the waitress to take our orders and we had to flag her down to order drinks because she never asked us if we wanted any drinks. They were also out of several things on the menu and got one of our dishes completely wrong.
It was really good, the service team was so good at taking care of us. I had the drunken noodles, my wife had the madsaman curry, my son had the broccoli and oyster sauce dish, and my daughter had the Thai dumplings. Everyone enjoyed their food. We also had sticky rice with jackfruit, which was my first time trying jackfruit. But I feel I can get the same food at other Thai places for less money. I felt like it was about $5 a plate more expensive than other Thai places I have eaten at.
Went there for dinner last night & something in the food set my husband’s seafood allergy. So if you have allergies this might not be the place because there is cross contamination for sure.
Also very overpriced for what you get, the rice portion that came with my Pra Ram was ridiculous & I didn’t dare ask for more. Very flavorful tho!!
Beautiful Thai dishes served with amazing service! Every dish we had we really liked. They do have a 1, 2, 3 spice level and it was recommended to try a 2 if you like spice. I do like it spicy but level 2 was a bit too much for me so beware of that. Overall it was very yummy food!!
I had a Roasted Duck curry. The flavor in the sauce was good however, I ended up getting about 10 pieces of thin little slices of dry Roasted duck in the meal and didn't really enjoy the texture and the flavor of the duck. I feel like the price they charge, the quality and quantity of the meat was not worth it. I don't recommend it unless you want to gamble your money. I also bought the Basil Beef fried rice to go. And I really hope it's good.
World’s biggest Costco, combining a business center with a regular store. You’ll find some products here you won’t see elsewhere.
It’s almost too big.
Prices are way too expensive for what you get. They charge you for every little thing. And the price is outrageous. $5 32 ounce side of sauce. Ridiculous.
The people who work at Baan are honestly some of the nicest and sweetest people ever. They’re super welcoming, and to top it all off, the food is insanely good!
The crispy chicken fried rice? Absolute fire. The chicken, the sauce, the rice—all of it is a solid 10/10. Definitely gonna have to try more of their menu next time!
Food - was excellent
Service - they had a hard time with large group.
Atmosphere - it’s very pretty .

I’m really picky about Thai food, and this place has fabulous curry, great shrimp dishes, and their cashew chicken stir fry is probably my favorite in utah.
Always delicious!
First of all, I can’t believe 2 curry entrees and 1 side of (only two) spring rolls filled with mostly lettuce costs more than $60. Oh well, I thought I knew the price when I ordered (I actually thought the prices were more on their DoorDash sites, so I called my order in, but it was the same price), and if it was tasty, it would be worth it. It was not tasty. It was not worth it. The spring rolls contained mostly lettuce and a small amount of extremely dry tofu. I ordered pumpkin veggie curry and it tasted like watered down red curry (seriously tasted like they were running out of curry and added water) with SAND due to the “pumpkin” that had turned to sludge at the bottom of the container. I love Thai food, and this was exceptionally bad. My husband got yellow veggie curry, and it was nowhere near as delicious as other places we’ve been and the veggies weren’t cooked long enough. The potatoes could not even be stabbed with the cheesy little forks they gave us with our to go order, and neither could the carrots. We’re out more than $60 and it didn’t even taste good. We won’t be back.

We ordered one of the wok items, the green curry, and some appetizers. The appetizers were okay although they weren’t our favorite they were prepared well. However, we found 3 hairs over the course of our meal in our cashew wok and in the side of white rice that they serve. This made us apprehensive to finish the rest of our meal and our waitress didn’t take off the items that we found hairs in, which was upsetting but we were more upset that there was no apology or any kind of response towards us for the hair being found in our food.
The food was so good! We got the Thai fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and massaman curry. I am excited to have another yummy Thai restaurant to eat at. The service was really good too. We will be back soon.
Green curry and the spring rolls. If you guys maintain this level of quality, I'll be a customer for life. Price is fair and the quality is outstanding. I forgot what it's like to be excited by food. Shrimp spring rolls were so good. The green curry is top tier. One note. Asked for extra white rice. They did it cause i usually run out. Thanks for not giving me grief about an extra cup of white rice after i spend 35 bucks on my dinner. Please, don't. Do that.
5 star food. Can't speak to dine in, but it seems cozy inside. Thanks for the grand meal.
We have gone here many times and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, like many restaurants, the prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down. The chicken tasted reheated which ruins the dish. Not worth the money.
Best Thai food we've ever had. We had the spring rolls, and drunken noodles, delicious flavor, and fresh. The service was incredible! I will recommend this restaurant to everyone.
The food is usually great. I get it to go because I work down the street….
But today? it’s priced OUTRAGEOUSLY for what you get. Their $14 avacodo fresh spring rolls are just salad (no noodles, no tomato, no basil) wrapped in a spring roll wrapper with ONE slice of avocado. The papaya salad ($13) was about 3tbs of papaya, and iceberg lettuce and cashews. It just fell massively short of what I’ve come to love and expect from baan. I won’t be back anytime soon.
Little location with a big punch. Loved the flavor and the amount of food was right on for me. I enjoyed the lunch and we will be back for sure
Went there for dinner last night & something in the food set my husband’s seafood allergy. So if you have allergies this might not be the place because there is cross contamination for sure.

Great customer service, delicious food. We'll be back for sure.
I am so disappointed to have to give a bad review for the Lehi location. Three different times/horrid situations (obviously I did not learn my lesson after the first time. I was hoping it was just a one time thing….but THREE is out of control)!
1- We found an ANT in my rice.
2- We found a HAIR in my food.
3- We found TWO HAIRS in my food (this one was yesterday).
After the first situation, I called the restaurant to notify them. Their response: Thank you for letting us know.
Pretty good Thai overall. The only complaint we all had was that they should give a larger portion of rice with your meal.
The food and service were great. I enjoy the Fried Rice with Basil and the Pra Ram. The best thing was that they had a large selection of gluten free options! Will go again.
We usually go to Baan Thai after shopping at Traverse. The experience this time was horrible. The server when serving our food was literally throwing plates on the table. When asked to keep it nicely instead of throwing, he mocked and went inside. We will never visit or eat here again and highly recommend not to go. Food was also not great.
Baan Thai in Lehi, UT: A Culinary Oasis Worth the Visit
Step into Baan Thai, and you'll find yourself immersed in a symphony of flavors and visual artistry that transports your senses straight to the heart of Thailand. Nestled in Lehi, UT, this charming restaurant delivers far more than just a meal—it's an experience.
The dumplings, bathed in a luscious creamy sauce and adorned with an elegant orchid, set the stage for a culinary adventure. Each bite revealed tender, savory perfection that balanced indulgence with a refined presentation. It’s the kind of dish that leaves you pondering whether it’s acceptable to order seconds before finishing the first.
Next up was the dynamic duo of dishes: a soul-soothing curry and a lively plate of Pad Thai. The curry, rich and fragrant, cradled tender chunks of chicken and fresh vegetables in a coconut broth that could warm the coldest of hearts. The Pad Thai was a delightful tangle of noodles, peanut crunch, and bright lime notes—an orchestra of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors that left no taste bud neglected.
Presentation was clearly a priority, with edible flowers gracing the plates like VIP guests at a five-star gala. The ambiance was modern yet welcoming, and the service was as warm as the spice in the curry.
If you're looking for a place that brings together authentic Thai flavors with a flair for style, Baan Thai is the answer. This gem in Lehi doesn’t just feed you—it impresses you. Five orchids out of five!
AMAZING FOOD! Amazing service and super cute vibe! Awesome experience and we will 100% be back!
Everything was absolutely delicious. Excellent service.
So good! Favorite Thai place in Utah
Excelente lugar
It was a little cold, but the food was good
Had the best Pad Thai I've ever had. Service was great, the place is nice and clean. Highly recommend.
Busy and noisy on an early Sat nite. Service was fast tho and food was delivered while we were still eating our appetizer spring rolls. Panang curry was tasty & the brown rice was the best I've had
Went with a group and so we tried several dishes together. My favorites were the mango curry and pad see ew.
For a place that charges more than other Thai restaurants, you would expect it to be the best. Unfortunately I was not impressed. I got the Massaman Curry, my go to Thai dish, and it lacked flavor, spice, and I found a short black hair in it (I have long blonde hair). I also hate it when restaurants use flowers as garnish. I don't care if it is possibly edible I don't want an orchid on my food. Portion was decent. Have to order more rice though. If you want really flavorful and good portion sized Thai food for a good price, I highly recommend Thai Better in South Jordan.
Delicious, fresh, colorful food, and great wonderful presentation. Excellent, FAST service. Clean & attractive atmosphere.
Save money, live better!!

I love the layout of the restaurant 😍 Service was fantastic as well as the food.

extort tips
This is Americanized Thai food. The tom gai soup was too sweet, I had to add some fish sauce from my papaya salad to make it taste better. The pad Thai had adequate sauce and was the only item that was decent. The masaman curry again was a tad too sweet and very thin, like water. Our waiter only came out once to ask about how the food tasted. Because we are a party of 6, he automatically added 20% tip which was $34.99. We asked that he take that off so we can leave a cash tip and he said he couldn't. No such thing. Then we asked to split the check into two. Here is the kicker: my BIL and I received the split check-$109.31 each. He entered the tip for EACH ticket at $34.99 and reduced the amount owed for the food. Simple math: if you split the $34.99 tip into two, each check should be $17.50. So the waiter got TWO $34.99 tip and the restaurant owner got $34.99 less for the food ordered. We didn't figure this out until we left and looked at the receipts again. Over priced for mid Thai food, that is adjusted for American palates.
I lived on Thailand 60 days a year and this is the most authentic Thai restaurant I've found in Utah. The others aren't even close.
Delicious pad thai
Amazing food , super fresh food and super fast service.
Very small strip mall location, Great for take out.
Food should be Michelin rated.
I have tried tons of Thai restaurants in Utah. This is one of the very few I would return too! So delicious!
The food is expensive and isn’t worth the price
The food here was on point. The flavors were so delicious! However, I only gave them a three on food because all but two of my prawns were not de-veined. They also came with the shells on, which I realize was to make it look better, but it was annoying to have to peel them. Add having to de-vein them myself and I was just a bit put off. But like I said, the flavors were really good.
Delicious food, quick & friendly service, fun decor.
Absolutely amazing Thai food it's my favorite place to eat for special occasions!
Excellent waitress that was cordial and attentive. I had the sweet and sour chicken bowl, which came with an assortment of vegetables bathed in sweet and sour sauce. I thought it had a delicious taste with the dark brown rice. 🍚 The calamari was good when it first came out but the longer it sat out I feel like the breading was coming off easier. All in all my colleagues loved the food! Definitely a place to check out again.
Our party of four arrived 30 minutes before closing, which we hated to do but we are starving. The staff were so great and the food was amazing. We finished as quickly as we could but we're very appreciative that the staff didn't make a big deal of it. Thanks!!!
One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to, unfortunately I’ve been to a lot of bad ones but this one was very well done. Panang Curry and Drunken noodles. Both dishes were full of flavor, the curry being a little spicy and I loved how it was not too oily. Sat really well w my stomach and wasn’t heavy. The noodles are a must if it’s your first time, but would recommend a curry to go with it. The atmosphere is very cute and I loved the plant decor on the wall, there is also a bar upstairs.
I ordered take out from here twice in the past 3 months and it was delicious! I had basil fried rice and shrimp rolls! I had chicken satay and egg rolls before and they were great too! Flavorful and authentic tasting!
They have no kids menu so we had to order an appetizer and rice which made the lunch for a child $18! The food was okay- but expensive for the amount you get. They added on gratuity which I just don’t like. The mango spring rolls had one small piece of mango. The avocado spring roll was basically just lettuce. Just not very impressed with this place. The peanut sauce and the cucumber sauce were delicious though.
A little pricy but food was delicious and it was presented well. I got the drunken noodles and was pleasantly surprised. Trendy decor and atmosphere.
THE best curry restaurant in the state. It's tucked away in The Outlets, so parking is kind of a chore, but the food is worth it.
Food and service is fine but the price doesn't match what you get IMO.
I've eaten a LOT of Thai food in SLC. I'm not saying that to direct you to somewhere else in particular, just to let you know I have experience to compare.
Veggies were undercooked in both dishes (massaman and pad see ew). Flavors were to be expected. I liked the noodles a bit more than I usually do but my wife is the Pad see ew lover and they weren't as good according to her.
I would have been perfectly content with the meal though if it weren't for the price ($20+ per person)! I'm not too picky and average Thai food is still good food in my book. But, hibiscus flower on my meal aside, there wasn't some incredible ambiance that I would want to pay for, nor anything unique that I could see that would justify the price. I can only imagine that the reason for the price is the location (Johnny Rockets is next door and also super average food/overpriced. It at least has a unique vibe.) or because the other Baan is in Park City.
Probably won't go here again unless someone in my group of friends insists. There's above average Thai for lower prices all over SLC and Happy Valley.
However, if you like way overpriced product for average experience this place might be for you.
(I'm talking to you, people reading this on your iPhone while drinking from your Stanley cup).
Delicious food, very friendly service at affordable prices. I would highly recommend.
The green thai curry was yumm!
I loved the vibe and dining space of Baan Thai! It was an awesome dining experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a higher end date night or night out. I also want to give proper credit to the staff as they were pretty perfect and definitely helped add to the good experience.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the food wasn't as good as I was expecting for the price. It was definitely good and I enjoyed my meal, but it didn't taste like anything extra special when compared to other Thai Cuisine. I had the Calamari app and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. I think next time I'll go for something a little more classic Thai like a curry or Pad Thai.
Came with the adult family. This is a real step up from the generic Thai places that are all over the valley. The shrimp satay was a nice twist on the normal chicken satay. They have most of the standbys, but there were interesting dishes too.
The Penang Short Ribs were melt in your mount with great spices. Sadly, they were out of duck. Raad Nad Tiger Prawn was a good fallback choice.
I wish this was a little closer to the house because I would become a very regular place to visit.
Skimpy on the rice! $20 for curry, Definitely overpriced but it did have good flavor. I also did not like that the lowest gratuity option is 20% when service is just average. Lastly, mild = hot so be careful if you have weak tolerance to spice.
My wife is from Thailand and this has been her favorite Thai food in Utah so far. As an American I also liked it more than any other Thai restaurants here in Utah. The cost is about $30/person
Food was delicious, just wish the portion was bigger for the price.
We have loved baan before but recently sadly I believe the food quality is not the same. I ordered the steak salad and it was not edible. The service wasn’t great as before either, I understand everyone has bad days so perhaps the server just had one of those.
Anyway we don’t think we will go back, but leave the review hoping they can get back on track in providing quality meals as when they first opened.
Saw good reviews so thought we would give it a try. Was left disappointed. Don’t get the Nam Tok Ped duck dish. Have been to many Thai restaurants and usually love duck dishes but this dish was severely lacking. The duck was unbelievably dry almost jerky-like yet the fat was completely unrendered and chewy. On top, there was a spicy powder that did not mesh well at all with the underlying duck flavor…it was pretty gag worthy. Don’t recommend. Some of the other dishes my family ordered were also overcooked and bland. Service wasn’t great. Would not return here.
Decent Thai spot to enjoy. Good food with large portions. They said the lunch special is a 1 person serving but I made it into 2. Delicious options if a little overpriced. Still good though! The service was friendly and helpful.
Great menu, good service, delicious food
My sister and I decided to give Baan a try, and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed our main courses of green curry and drunken noodles. We appreciated the service, it was a busy night with a lot going on but we still felt well taken care of. While we enjoyed the chicken satay appetizer overall, it was a bit dry. Spice warning: my sister ordered mild and found her curry to be very hot! Probably not a good spot for people with low spice tolerances. This is also a higher priced Thai restaurant compared to others in the county, so be prepared for that if you go.
I LOVE Thai food but it’s not generally my boyfriend’s favorite. He ordered drunken noodles and ate every bite. The drinks were a little pricey but I also thought the yellow curry was amazing. A little higher end Thai than we usually get, but I already want to go back. I wouldn’t recommend the chicken satay though.
Good food. Service was good.
Ordered the beef cashew wok to go, it was pretty good, good flavor and mix of vegetables. My only knocks were the sauce was watery but still tasty, the beef a bit tough to chew. Overall a decent, filling meal.
Great place!!!
Fried rice was very greasy . Orange chicken was dry and overcooked. Bit overpriced for the quality of the food
Great vibe and the fried rice was amazing!
Good flavorful Thai food. One of the better Thai food spots around this area.
Very poor attitude from both servers. We left, won’t be back.
Every time I'm in Lehi, I stop here, usually more than once, that's how good it is!
Must try - curry pot stickers, and any of the curry entrees.
Portions are good, and I always think I'll take some home, but always finish the plate. Spice level is usually perfect, enough to add to the dish, but not overbearing.
The drinks are also pretty good.
Mouth is watering as I write this.
Amazing!
The spicy eggplant stir fry with tofu and Thai ice tea was very good! 💕 I look forward to trying their other dishes.
Delicious food and artistic presentation.
The chicken was overcooked! My husband’s meal was mediocre. It was $30 for just the main dish. They added on a large service charge for the two of us. We won’t be going back to this restaurant!
Our favorite Thai food in Utah county for sure! Really fresh tasting. For vegetarians, the vegetable dumplings in curry are some of the best I’ve had (the curry is delicious)!
Baan Thai offers a relaxing vibe with its decor and soft music. The food is flavorful and authentic. There’s a variety of tasty dishes, and the desserts are incredible. The staff are friendly and know the menu well.. Overall, it’s a cozy spot with great Thai food and a welcoming atmosphere; it's really worth a visit.
Great time. Great food.
I’m usually pretty skeptical of Asian food in Utah but Baan was the real deal. The service and food were both amazing. I hosted a group of 30 for lunch and everyone loved it.
Loved this place! The atmosphere was incredible and the food was amazing!
Over priced, small portions. We eat at quite a few different Thai places and this is the most expensive with the smallest portions. We asked for an additional bowl of white rice and we were charged for a very small bowl of white rice. Overall the food is pretty good but I think it is over priced.
Super good. More pricey than other Thai places in the area
Overpriced Thai Food. You’re paying for the location. If you’re only coming mainly for the food, don’t come here. You can get the same quality food or better elsewhere but half the price. If you’re coming because of the place, say you’re celebrating a special occasion, and can justify paying more for a better environment, then i can see the justification for the price. Food is okay, nothing spectacular. I’ve had better. I know Thai food. Lived in New York and been to Thailand. Ate at a lot of Thai restaurants all over the world. This place is slightly above average but not the best I’ve had. It’s way overpriced for what it is.
The food was incredible! Pad Thai was amazing and the curries were good too!
Came here for lunch. 2 adults with a kid. They have empty booths and other tables. I asked for the booth, and the receptionist said “NO”. Then she put us in the corner behind a large table where having many people. Just this attitude deserves a 0 star service regardless how good the food is because it ruined my mood. If my sister wasn’t in a hurry, I would have left.
This place is very high quality and delicious, but it is expensive. Definitely great if you are willing to spend the money!
Very pricey for Thai food. Got food to go and they forgot the rice. Didn't bring a container to go for my dine in rice either. Expect much more for the price here. Most expensive Thai food you'll find in the valley.
My visit here was Okay. Not horrible. But okay. I honestly feel like it’s very over priced Thai food.
The atmosphere was good. Clean and well taken care of but definitely no worth what’s being charged.
The other thing that was frustrating is they added a gratuity charge for my family of 5. Two adults and 3 small children. I glanced at the bill and was a little shocked at the price and proceeded to pay. Gave a standard 20% tip and walked to my car. Added up all the costs in my head and it didn’t add up. I ended up giving just short of a $40 tip, this would equal out to about a 40% tip.
I definitely won’t be returning here. Again the food wasn’t horrible. My wife and I eat Thai often and you can get amazing Thai food at a good price.
They ended up reimbursing me my total gratuity and tip. Thanks guys. I do have to be fair to them.
I walked back
Got the short ribs curry, portion size was pretty good, loved all that MEAT!
Too pricey. The servers here are so rude. Keep on asking if you want to order anything else or are you done ? We just ordered appetizers and having them. Not even giving time to look at the menu for main course( restaurant is not even busy to rush the customers). We asked for big plates after we got our Entrees ( had to wait for 15 mins to know that they do not have big plates at all and they are very rude to respond ).
They added Gratuity for 3 adults and 2 kids.
With the worst service and thier bad attitude we will never go back and not recommending to anyone.
We had a very large party of around 20 people and our appetizers and food still came out timely and well-spaced. The staff was patient and polite, and the food was excellent.
There could be more variety in the food. The food on menu is great but will get boring on your third or fourth visit. Taking off one star for less options and not having any weekend specials.
I was very disappointed in the flavors, very bland. We ordered the pad Thai and garlic and black pepper dish. The fried egg rolls and the fried calamari were meh.
Amazing food and great service!!
20 bucks for an entree was so disappointing with the portions they give and charge to much for what you get, plus hard to find parking. I Can go somewhere better and get more for what I paid, won't be back here again
Had the yellow curry, chicken fried rice, egg rolls and Thai tea. Everything was great! My only complaint is the egg rolls I think are not home made and very generic.
Had brunch with my adult daughter. The coconut shrimp appetizer is delicious. Our favorite though was the Thai Sangria. Absolutely delicious! It is now our favorite drink at Baan.
We recommend sitting on the second floor. It's cozier and would be perfect for date night. The service was great. The staff is very attentive and the bartender knows her drinks. Our favorite Thai restaurant.
Best servers!
Food is pretty good! I wouldn’t say it’s memorable, but better than 90% of the Thai places in Utah. However, everything is very expensive here.
Amazing food
Great vibes, super quick/friendly service, and even better food (both taste and portions).
We had just finished shopping and walked in on a Friday evening, packed but seated right away upstairs in their loft area.
Ordered the Massaman Short Ribs (fall off the bone tender) and the Duck Curry, both delicious! Will definitely be back when we're passing by the area.
Favorite place to eat out.
Fairly typical Thai food, cute atmosphere but $20 for the drunken noodles and pad see ew plus tax and tip is pricey for Utah. Not worth the price.
Always great.
Chicken Drunken Noodles and Chicken Panang Curry were delicious. Great atmosphere and fast service.
Orange chicken brown rice, mini egg roll and small salad for $12. Very tasty and great server. Come early for lunch; the place packs out.
I can't get enough of this place
This is my favorite place to get food in Draper/Lehi! It's SO DELICIOUS I love their food
I love this thai place! Really wonderful employees and food
Beautiful place, the best Thai food in town! Its a wonderful and the people who work here are so kind and amazing. 10/10
Great restaurant for business dinner. We have also gone for family get together.
Excellent food and good service. Very authentic flavors for a price.
