Chill and charming Thai eatery with lunch and dinner offerings.
5 Stars - Amazing Experience!
Charm Thai Kitchen and Bar in The Woodlands, TX, is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The food was nothing short of spectacular—authentic Thai flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes.
We tried the Pad Thai and Green Curry, and both were bursting with flavor. The spice levels were just right, and the portions were generous. The cocktails were also exceptional—refreshing and perfectly balanced.
The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It’s clear they take pride in their service and cuisine.
If you're looking for delicious Thai food and a great dining experience, Charm Thai Kitchen and Bar is the place to go. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
I love Thai food and this has become my favorite Thai resto in The Woodlands. Food, pricing and service is exceptional.
Came here for the first time for my daughter’s baptism celebration, enjoyed the food and the ambience so we and came back to give myself a little treat before going for surgery. I forgot to ask her name but one of the bosses (not sure) came to our table to ask how our meal was and also asked if we wanted a bigger table. We were seated in one of the smallest tables (like the ones fit for one or two customers) that time. It was my husband, my daughter (in a high chair) and I. My husband said after leaving our table, she spoke to the waiter and the waiter apologized to us. We really didn’t mind it and we were enjoying our food but we appreciate how she cared to give us the best dining experience.
Would love to come here often if it wasn’t for the 15-20min drive 🥲
My wife, daughter, and I stumbled upon Charm Thai Kitchen and Bar on a rainy Sunday afternoon, and what a delightful surprise it was! The restaurant exudes warmth and charm, making it the perfect spot to escape the dreary weather.
The service was impeccable—our server, Mamika M., was attentive and friendly, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented in traditional Thai dishes and cookware, which added an authentic and thoughtful flair to the meal.
Here’s what we ordered:
• Thai Chicken Wings (6): Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced.
• Edamame with Chili Garlic: A fresh and spicy twist on a classic starter.
• Panang Curry with Chicken (Mild): Rich, aromatic, and paired beautifully with steamed white rice.
• Pad Thai with Shrimp (Mild): The perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory—simply a must-try.
• Extra Steamed White Rice: Always a great addition!
The flavors were bold and authentic, and every bite was a treat. With a reasonable total of $64.90 for three people, the quality and experience were well worth it.
Charm Thai Kitchen and Bar is a true hidden gem in The Woodlands. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional Thai dining experience!
This place is SO GOOD! We love Thai food and can be picky. This checked all of our boxes. Super cozy and love the decor and atmosphere. Our server gave us some samples of beer because my husband wasn’t sure what he wanted. Very attentive service! My only complaint is that we do not live near here so we won’t be able to come back often. I hope they bring one to Pearland!
Beautifully decorated restaurant. Detailed menu and lots of choices. Tom kha soup tasted very good but was super runny texture. Tom yum fried rice was good but we ordered level 4 so was super super spicy. We are used to eating very spicy but this level 4 was way high so beware. Service was disappointing, we had to ask for plates, silverware to take out soup etc. price is on the higher side. I like that they have a nice kids menu.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and has quickly become our family’s favorite spot in the area! The staff at this restaurant are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our server, Andrew, and the manager, Anna, went above and beyond to make our experience special. They were both incredibly caring and personable, adding a warm touch to our visit. We started with three appetizers: roti curry, spring rolls, and chicken satay. The roti curry was the standout—it completely blew us away, and we couldn’t stop coming back for more. It’s easily one of the best dishes on the menu.
For entrees, we enjoyed the Yellow Curry, Tom Kha, Red Curry, Beef Noodle Stew, Pad Thai, Cashew Nut Delight, and Vegetable Stir Fry (Pad Pak). They were incredibly accommodating to dietary needs, substituting steamed veggies for rice, and we appreciated that all the curries are gluten-free, making meal selection a breeze.
This spot is a new favorite for when family visits—highly recommend!
Absolutely stunning!!! Everything we had was top notch! Not one thing was without amazing flavors!!! Service was on point. Prices are extremely reasonable!! Had spice lvl 3 on our food. Def a going to give you a sweat and a burn but sooo good!!
Nice good and great service.
Fantastic food and amazing service. Manila was a great hostess giving us fantastic options to choose. This is my fifth visit to the place and will keep coming again.
This was my first time here and the food was amazing. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. My server Natt was very knowledgeable and provided awesome recommendations. I will definitely be returning.
Was craving sticky rice, and I'm super glad that google recommend this place, the atmosphere is super cute, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. Nat gave us a run down of the menu and what she would recommend and she did not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back!
Best Thai restaurant in town! The Pineapple Curry with chicken is my favorite. Great service from Amy!
Masaman curry was awesome. Amy was awesome.
The ambience was good, the food is good and the staff were very friendly. Nat, our server, took the time to recommend and even suggest and advise us which was very useful when navigating vegetarian options. Would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for Thai food!
Loved our meal! Our server Nat was great.
Our Tiger Cried was lacking. The cut of meat was fatty and tough to chew. Instead of a nice char and thinnly sliced, it was sitting in fat and beef blood cut 1/2 thick slices. Really, Charm? Was the Chef off today? I've had Tiger Cried here before and it was delightful. Not today. What was this? LONDON BROIL???? It is suppose to be a nice cut of steak, not the cheapest beef per pound you can find. Very disappointed.
Great place. Victoria is great!
New favorite Thai restaurant. The food was awesome and the interior is so stylish & welcoming. Highly recommend. We’ve tried many Thai places in the Houston area and this is our new fave.
Food is great but only giving 2 stars due to portions being way too small on multiple occasions. Also, very little protein of chicken or beef in the dish. They are skimping on portions and I’m not even talking Texas size portions. Just a reasonable amount. Probably only around 1 ounce of meat in the dish. Stop skimping and this place would be awesome but my wife and I both said we don’t go there anymore due to portion sizes.
Enjoyed the food! Authentic Thai food.
Excellent service from Nat.
Great mango curry and pad thai! Orden in a 2 level spicy and was really good

It was our first visit to Charm Thai Kitchen and Bar and we loved it. Our server, Kaylee, was great at recommending which entrees we would like (due to our spice tolerances). She was also very attentive, and had a sparkling personality. The atmosphere was very upbeat and modern with traditional Thai decorations sprinkled around. The food was delicious and timely plated. Definitely a restaurant to put in your rotation.
The best food and amazing service .. definitely I will keep coming..
Amy was a great server.
Amy
We had an excellent time at the bar this afternoon and received exceptional service from Caleb. Food was tasty as ever and received quickly despite the lunch rush.
Wonderful meal and service. Mamika was fantastic!
We tried the appetizer sampler and I had a soup. My BF had the Pad Thai. His was delicious. My soup was too spicy. Next time I'll get the spice on the side. They were very busy while we were there. I look forward to trying more things.
My son and I had a very bad experience here tonight. We got to the restaurant, and I was pleased to notice that there were many open booths and tables. However, the hostess immediately greeted us, asking if we had a reservation. This is a Wednesday night, by the way. I said no and pointed out the many tables and booths, and she claimed they all were reserved. I found her attitude very off putting and rude, and I did not believe her claim that all tables and booths were reserved. I have been a frequent customer, as has my son. We will never return. The food is decent, but it’s overpriced and the unwelcoming attitude makes this restaurant the bottom of my list.
Delicious Thai food. Wonderful service. Amy was incredibly kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
The food is delicious. Atmosphere is great. Amy our server was so friendly and accommodating.
Showed after making reservation the night before they couldn’t find my reservation. I showed them the call record the only thing I got was I am sorry. Don’t go their service is horrible anyway. Go to Ploy on Research.
Travis our server was great. Amazing pad Thai and the crab fried rice was really good. Will be coming back
Ate here for the first time- will definitely be back!! The food was spot on, and our server, Travis, was excellent. Would highly recommend if you like excellent Thai food and quality cocktail!
This is the best Thai food I’ve eaten since vacationing in Bangkok. The atmosphere is very intimate and the staff is relaxed and not rushed. The food was presented very meticulously and was eye candy as well as delightful to the palate. The price is money well spent. Portions are generous.
Disappointed with the dish I ordered this past week . I ordered the yum woodsen and honestly it was not what I expected . I have gone to other restaurants that provide Thai food and this was not close to what the other restaurants offer or how delicious it is . I can’t believe that I paid 20 something dollars for half a meal with half an iceberg lettuce 🥬 I can purchase at Walmart .
Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had.
Travis helped us figure out what to order. GET THE CURRY ENTREE OR AT THE VERY LEAST ROTI CURRY FOR AN APPETIZER.
Amazing and will for sure be back again.
Legit delicious Thai food in a very beautiful setting.
Wonderful experience all around. Our server Lyle was great. Food was fantastic and the atmosphere and music were great. Can’t wait to come back.
We had a reservation this evening to celebrate someone’s birthday who wanted to eat Thai food. It has been a rainy & cold evening and we went with lots of expectations. We were seated & no one showed up to service for a full 20 minutes. We had to walk out disappointed informing the waitress. Never experienced this kind of service ever.
Amy was our waitress she was amazing the food was came quick and the service was amazing !

Every time we've eaten from Charm (dine in and pickup), the food has consistently been delicious and hot! We've had two visits in which mistakes were made with orders and Charm made remedied the issues without an uncomfortable or awkward exchange. The delicious food, presentation, portion size and client service is why we keep going back. My little girls love the Pad Sew Yew and Broccoli Stir-Fry with Beef. My husband and I strongly recommend the pineapple curry with shrimp! Their medium is still pretty spicy if you're used to mild/med salsas and flavors.

I have been twice. Overall not bad I would give them another chance some day down the road. We had a good experience 1st go around but 2nd go around not the best. I have a young infant that’s a picky eater so we ordered rice and see if they could just give us a fried egg. They came out with a sunny side fried egg with runny yolk. Unfortunately my son wouldn’t try it. I kept the egg for myself and said if we can have a scrambled egg. Our server said they could NOT scramble an egg….? Well that’s weird ok. As a Thai person and anyone knows most Asian dishes that’s pretty some to have some type of egg in a dish. When our other food came out we ordered a mild spicy the dish that came out was unbeatable food of spicy. Our server very understanding. He was awesome!
Sat at the bar and not only was service excellent with Travis but the food was phenomenal so fresh and phenomenal.
Horrible establishment that does not value their customers at all I ordered online specifically to come and pick it up. Arrived 20 minutes later. After I placed the order. I waited another 40 minutes, To wait for my order, which only had two items.!!!
My family recently visited Charm Thai Kitchen & Bar, and it was an incredible experience! The interior is absolutely stunning, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that was cozy and comforting. We started with the crispy spring rolls, which were perfectly golden and delicious. For our main course, we had the Thai fried rice, which was full of flavor and spice, the Cashew Nut Delight, a perfect balance of crunch and savory goodness, and the Panang curry, which was rich, creamy, and packed with incredible flavors. The food was presented so beautifully that I was too excited to eat it and forgot about taking pictures! To top it off, I had the Ladies Night cocktail with lemon, rose, and lavender — it was absolutely divine. The cocktails were all perfectly balanced, creative, and a great complement to the meal. If you’re looking for bold, flavorful food, incredible drinks, and amazing hospitality, this place is a must-visit.
Waiting almost an hour & 1/2 for our food to then find out they gave our food away to a different table by accident. The waiter I think was overwhelmed as he didn’t realize we never got our food. He was very kind, was embarrassed & we felt bad for the guy. They gave us a free mango sticky rice dessert while we waited which unfortunately wasn’t good & just made us more hangry. Once we finally got our food (red curry w/chicken & pineapple fried rice) which was delicious we were hoping the manager would come out on their own to tell us we got a discount or a free meal & didn’t. We requested to speak to them and they did then kindly agree to give us half off. We noticed they favored take-out orders more than the people in their restaurant which was backwards, as we saw several tables waiting just as long as us for their food. The place was cute & what we ordered was great, but I’m a little afraid of waiting that long again.
What a lovely place and the food was excellent! Our server, Mamika, was very attentive and made our experience top notch.
Food and service...excellent
Have eaten a lot of Thai food before and this place was great. The classic Thai dishes were really great. We accidentally cancelled our reservation but they worked with us to get us a table anyway. And our waiter Andrew took great care of us all night. Highly recommend!
Had a great server Andrew and a delicious dinner - pad prik was perfect spice level
It is the first time at the Charm Kitchen and bar. Andrew was awesome and took great care of us.
Andrew’s customer service was great!!!
Good food, but the table they found for us was next to the kitchen and the bathroom…
Amy was very helpful. Service was excellent.
Food was great!
We've eaten here several times and are seeing decline. Our most recent experience left much to be desired. The food was ok, but service was poor. Once seated we waited 10 minutes before we had to ask someone to serve us. Our meal arrived before our appetizer, or our waitress never ordered the appetizer...we're not sure. Our "cashew delight" had five cashews, total. Requested sweetener but after seeing it wasn't coming, asked another waitress for it, who then asked our wait-ress. And, despite the multiple clear misses on service, there were no apologies. I fear we have one more restaurant with great potential, but they are suffering from growing or staffing pains that may lead to its demise. There are just too many other better options in the area.
Delicious Pad Thai and Curry!
The Woodlands is blessed to have a Thai restaurant of this caliber. Ordered the Tom Yum Rice, Peanut Rama chicken, Pad Khe Mao, Khao Soi chicken. Always so good and full of flavor. Just made myself hungry again..gonna go finish my leftovers 🤤🤤
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience today, visiting charm restaurant. We were impressed with the customer service that Ann provided us, but most of all she was kind to Explain the level of sauce in how spicy we wanted our food. They make their sauce in house. We loved the environment and the service was top notch.
First time here, was highly recommended and now I will highly recommend.
Thank you for great food and service Travis, Merry Christmas!
High end food
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in The Woodlands! Food is superb, ambience is lovely and service always exceeds expectations! Ask for Andrew when you visit, you won’t be disappointed!
Great restaurant, the food and service were first class. Especially we were waited by Andrew who despite being super busy with other tables and at the bar took great care of us!
I have been here twice and every time has been incredible. Great bar program that highlights the delicious food. It is so nice to see this quality of food making its way out to the woodlands. Mami-San and the whole staff is very intune with great hospitality and service. Please support this great restaurant
Best Thai food I’ve had in Texas
Third time here is a charm. This is the best gourmet Thai restaurant in the area if not Houston. Andrew, our waiter, was very knowledgeable of the menu and very gracious. I'll be back.
Always good food and excellent service. Andrew’s the best. Friendly, responsive, checks back often.
We were served by NAT and she was excellent. She is a good asset for the organization
We were served by NAT and she was excellent in serving us. She is a huge asset for the restaurant
Great food. Nat’s service is excellent.
First time here and the food was delicious! Especially loved the fried rice and Nat was awesome!
Good Thai great service by Andrew
Fatal, I had been trying to go for weeks and invited a friend of Katy’s to travel to the woodland to meet them. We arrived at 8:30pm and the host as well as the team in general told us that the kitchen was closed. Even so, I went to the bar because it was very nice and I liked the music, I asked them to serve us two vodkas and a starter to eat something and avoid the bad time since my friend came from Katy aaa for an hour driving and the Bartender ratified that they could not serve us because the kitchen was closed and only one drink because they would close the restaurant. I would never go back and I stay with the pleasure of not having tried a Thai food that abounds in this area and that will surely be better than this restaurant served by Americans, of staff in African, central American in the kitchen and surely Asian owners ( It's not a racist comment because I love diversity. ) All very well -educated and few trained in the art of drinks and food, an important sector in such a beautiful city with a valuable but unprofessional human capital. I don’t recommend it 👎
Love love love this place. We visit almost every Sunday after church.
Favorite restaurant in the area. Caleb is the BEST. He makes the best drinks, is extremely friendly and attentive and makes the entire dining experience a 10/10. Highly recommended.
The best place to eat
Spectacular vegetarian food
Yummy like a hotel berry good
Took my grandparents out for lunch. My grandmother is usually very picky, but she loved literally everything. Starting with the appetizer, all the way to the entree. Food was top notch, and our server Emilia was courteous, friendly, and she had amazing vibes. We will definitely be coming back, but this time with the whole family.
Never tried this place because I thought it was another dorky Thai place. Came here because I wanted something different besides Local Table. I was greatly surprised by my experience. I sat at the bar and it was beautiful. It was all back-lit including the stone bar. Andrew was my bartender and he was warm and welcoming. I got the Tom Yum Soup, Spindle Tap draft beer, basil rice, mango rice dessert. All amazing! You can change the heat level on dishes, so make sure you ask. The draft beer selection is great, and I love that they don’t only have IPAs or hazy. Lots of Vegetarian and Gluten Free options available. The restaurant is clean and plays nice relaxing music. They also play beautiful island montage by the bar. It’s like an escape to paradise eating here, I highly recommend.
Everyone greatly enjoyed their meal! Service was very friendly and responsive; we were served by Amy -- she was very kind and her timing was just right! Very pleasant, tidy atmosphere
I recently celebrated my birthday at Charm Thai, and I cannot praise them enough! The restaurant offers a stunning private space that made our event feel truly special. The atmosphere is beautiful, with thoughtful decor that creates a warm and inviting setting.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and dedicated to making our celebration memorable. All our requests were met with ease, and it truly felt like the entire team was invested in our experience.
I particularly want to extend my gratitude to our server, Amelia. Her friendly demeanor and exceptional service made a significant impact on our party. She was helpful with everything, attending to our needs seamlessly.
In addition to the excellent service and ambiance, the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Everyone at our gathering raved about their meals!
This wasn’t my first visit, and it definitely won’t be my last. Charm Thai Kitchen & Bar s the perfect spot for family gatherings, meetings, and special celebrations. Thank you so much for a fantastic dining experience and for making my birthday truly amazing!
Lea was great! Amazing cuisine!! Grat drinks and atmosphere
I visited Charm for the first time in October, with low expectations considering the other Thai places I’ve tried in the area. This is now my fourth visit in less than two months lol! I now consider myself a regular. The food is exceptional!!! My go to are the chicken pad thai, shrimp fried rice, and spring rolls. On my last visit I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered the Tex-Thai bbq fried rice. Two words: GAME CHANGER! 🤯 The drinks are amazing and the service is good. I would recommend going Monday - Thursday to avoid the bigger crowds on the weekend. Don’t walk but run to Charm & tell them I sent you.
We’re a family of 5 and we were excited to try Thai food together for the first time as it’s not our custom. The dishes were excellent. Very good food. The service and server lady however, not at all. Our server NEVER came to see how we were doing. I’ve never done a review of a company but I was so frustrated with how we were approached when paying our bill that I had to. As I said, we’re a family of 5. The server charged us a high percentage tip without notice, when we asked her why we were charged such a big tip she said “you’re a Large party, we automatically include the high tip for parties as large as yours” For 5??? First of all, I own several restaurants, the standard for “Large” parties is 6 or more people! How are these people Okay overcharging families for a service they didn’t earn!! We have No issue whatsoever rightfully tipping a great amount for the customer service we receive at any given place. This server WAS NOT THAT! I must say she did Not earn the tip we were FORCED to pay for her lack of service and consideration of us being a “large” party. I was so disappointed because the food was actually delicious. NEVER coming back. That bad apple ruined it for the owner of that restaurant, and if the server happened to be the owner, good luck with lasting in business when cheating people of an experience and assuming they owe you anything that you didn’t earn.
This restaurant is great. Beautiful decor, friendly service and delicious food! Our waitress Amy was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend!
The ribs are perfect 👌🏽!!!! Very meaty and flavorful.
We have had 2 meals from here so far, and they have been great.. no complaints, highly recommend!
Visited three times and never disappointed. Food staff and drinks were all very good. I plan to keep coming back
Charm Thai Kitchen & Bar - Ate at your restaurant Oct 25 2024, not a good experience. Was informed that you use canned curry pastes, which do not allow a means to reduce the heat in your Curry. Unacceptable to those who love curry, but not the heat.
Believe it or not, in Bangkok which I have visited many times in past 20+ years, they make what is called English Curry for those who love the taste of good curry, but not the HEAT. Also found in London UK in my past visits.
Heat has no flavor or taste, just pain, great indigestion, bodily harm, used to hide poor quality ingredients, etc. Many use heat to limit their intake of a dish for diet purposes, or to prove some level of manhood or sisterhood or for love of colitis and its rewards....
Am sure you have many customers that like heat, I will not be a customer again.
Thank you,
Gerald Rech
Love curry, just not the HEAT!
Best Thai food I’ve ever had!
The fish dish is the best both the presentation and the flavor. The drunken used different type of noodles compared to other Thai restaurants I had this dish before. The flavor is good though. The pork basil is kind of plain and watery. The service is very slow. Don’t recommend if you try to finish your lunch within 1 hour.
Fantastic spot for authentic Thai flavors! The tom yum was perfectly balanced with a kick of spice, the basil fried rice was aromatic and delicious, and the green curry was rich and flavorful. Each dish is fresh and beautifully presented everytime. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-notch Thai cuisine! Also Amy is always such a pleasure anytime we visit
We visited them when they opened and had good experience. Went back again recently and had horrible experience. Our server didn't care and it took them so long to bring food and no one came to check on us or gave any update. We got frustrated and had to check on food multiple times as they clearly didn't care. Crispy Brussel sprouts came oily and cold. Veg Tofu soup tasted like boiled water. At one point waitress came and slammed plates on our plate and that's when she ruined the whole experience for us. We got our appetizers after almost 45 minutes to an hour wait. We informed her about soup not tasting good and she clearly didn't care. They charged 2 dollars extra per dish to replace regular sauce with vegetarian sauce which was honestly unreasonable. We have decided not to visit this place again and will not recommend this place to other vegetarian friends in area.
Wow, this place was beautiful, the service was great, and the food was great!
Amy was a great server and the curry was so good!!!! She was really helpful with the menu too! Highly recommend
This restaurant is beautifully designed. Such a classy atmosphere. Amy our server was very attentive. The orange chicken was amazing. I’ve ordered it before from multiple Asian type restaurants over the years and never have they tasted this fresh.
Every time I have dined here the food is fabulous and the service is great! Thanks Amy for helping us tonight. The veggie stir fry was amazing!
Good food. Great service.
Had a wonderful early dinner here with my wife. Met Annie (owner?) whom was very charming and such a gracious host. Food was excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed my pineapple fried rice . My wife was raving about her green curry. My iced coffee was unbeatable! This place is a must try if you’re craving for Thai food.
This place was really good. We couldn't decide what to get so we ordered half the menu. And each item was delicious.
Get the brussel sprout appetizer.
Excellent!!
The food was absolutely incredible!! My husband and I shared the Woodlands Sampler appetizer to start with, which was perfect for two people and tasted amazing. I had the Chicken Peanut Rama (spice level 2) with jasmine rice. My husband had the Chicken Thai Khao Soi curry (spice level 3), I must say that my husband was so quiet during dinner because he liked it so much that he just didn't stop eating until it was all gone. The portion sizes were plentiful, and the quality of flavor and ingredients were beyond my expectations.
It was our first time in - date night turned new favorite spot! There service was top notch, thanks to Travis, and we were blown away by the dishes!! “That’s the best curry I’ve had in a long time.” ~ the hubs on our way home.
Not only was the food amazing (dessert and all), the presentation was… chef’a kiss. 🤌🏼
And the vibe was the cherry on top.
11/10 recommend.
What we Ordered ⤵️

Amelia was awesome - great knowledge and fun.
Well done - will be back!
Best Thai food in Houston! Everything is well prepared, authentic, and delicious. Try everything here, its that good! The staff are true to Thai culture providing dishes better than in Thailand due to high Texas standards. Definately use this resturant for catering. They never fail. The left overs are consumed for days on the rebound by family and/or employees.
Very good food and service. Our server Victoria is very friendly and accommodating. The whole fried fish is to die for. Noodle and pineapple fried rice are also very tasty. Will definitely come back!
Very flavorful. We had Pad Tai and Penang Curry. Both very good. Amy took good care of us!
OVERALL RATING 4.8. Our waiter Caleb who was fabulous. I was eager to try this new Thai restaurant in the woodlands given there are few options unless you make the trek to Houston. We ordered the cheese rolls for our appetizer. They felt heated up in microwave and very one note in flavor. They could’ve benefited from adding diced onion, cilantro and maybe anchovy. Also, diced carrots offer some sweetness. Our second course was Tom Kha Gai spice level 2. Other reviews mentioned it was runny; however, we enjoyed the texture & taste. Chicken was very moist. It would have benefited from more cilantro which would have made it a five. 3rd course was green curry (A Thai classic) with tofu. I received red curry instead and waiter promptly corrected the orders and offered Thai ice tea and mango sticky rice at no charge. The Green curry had a good depth of flavor and would order again. Spice level was 5. . As someone Who likes Thai hot it was in the right range for what I like. Overall, our meal was very tasty and Caleb our waiter was very attentive. Give him a raise. Manager (owner) was also very attentive & spoke Thai; which I appreciate. The atmosphere had a very Houston Uptown feel and atmosphere which we like. We will definitely be back. In Summary, I would definitely recommend Charm in the Woodlands. STAY TUNED for additional reviews on Charm followed by Local Table and North Italia in the very near future.
Food was amazing. I have my new favorite dish the peanut Rama. O and love a creme brulee and they have a pumpkin spice one right now. Travis makes a FANTASTIC Espresso Martini! And his service is pretty good too lol. We really enjoyed our meal and our service. Just like the first time. We will for sure be back!
My girlfriend, and I thoroughly enjoyed our take-out meal. It was truly delicious. But the taste wasn’t the issue. It was the receipt.
When I placed my girlfriend’s order of the Mango Curry medium heat, we were asked what kind of rice between white or brown. She decided on brown. I ordered the Peanut Rama, medium heat with brown rice as well. We also ordered an order of Crab Wontons for an appetizer.
When I looked at the receipt after eating I noticed I was charged $18.99 plus an additional $3.50 for my girlfriend’s dish. As I look on the online menu her dish is listed at $17.99 at the top and $18.99 at another spot, quite deceptive. There’s also no mention of an additional charge for brown rice. I was also charged $20.49 for my dish while it’s listed to at $16.99. I know this is only about $8 more, but I feel this is truly poor practice on their part.
Another concerning thing is I received a text notification that my food was ready for pickup about 30 minutes after I already picked up my order. Maybe that was a glitch, I don’t know.
I’d like to say I would return for the taste but with this poor practice of price gouging, I will not.
Great authentic Thai food in the Woodlands. We order the green curry and it was great. The spicy pumpkin cream buelle was amazing also.
Worst experience we have ever had… entered at 8:15… the host told us wth a extreme bad body language and tone that they r close at 9, so …. Do we want to dine in? And then we said do u want us to leave? She kept saying we close at 9 and took us to a table… and then we asked its ok if its too late for kitchen… she called someone from the kitchen and that persin mire rude and told us u hv exactly 9 mins to order… 😲…. Not only we will never step in this place … we will tell all our frnds never ti go near… and funny thing is the door says OPEN… r u serious… NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS EVER ANYWHERE… who rated 4.9?
Amy was fantastic!
Food was delicious!
I enjoyed myself so good. Great service, great drinks, I think I enjoyed this better than ThaiVapor... Sitting outside is A Must... Awesome staff, will come back again 💯💯🥰🙌🏾
The food is amazing!! THE best Thai food we’ve been missing in The Woodlands. Amelia was wonderful and gave great suggestions! The food and atmosphere will not disappoint! Love love love!
We finally found a Thai restaurant that rivals our previous favorite that is now closed! The food is delicious (we tried the papaya salad, pad thai, shrimp cakes, mango sticky rice, and thai tea) and we can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Amelia made our experience so enjoyable and fun, and was very well informed and helpful in advising us which dishes to order and at what spice levels. If you can, sit at one of her tables!
What an awful experience. The food was very good but rarely has such terrible service led to me not wanting to return to a restaurant. Lunch took over 1.5 hours which is not acceptable. My iced tea (regular unsweetened) was never refilled and sat empty the last hour. I could not believe the charges for extra lime and ground peanuts ($1 each!)
I really enjoyed the food but what a shame because I never want to go back!
Tasty food! Good quantity!
Good service!
Found this place while I was in the area housesitting for my brother, and I have to say this is the best Thai food I've had. I'm based in Katy, and I will most definitely find myself taking the ride up to the Woodlands again because of how satisfying the overall experience was. I went on two separate occasions, and every time the service was amazing. Caleb was our most recent waiter, and he made excellent recommendations and was very attentive to our needs.
We had a multitude of meals since we were a party of three, but my personal favorite was the Pad Khe Mao and the dumplings. My dad really enjoyed the curries, and my mom loved the Larb. I had my eye on their beautiful purple flower dumplings, but they only serve them on the weekends. Highly recommend!
Amazing, amazing, delicious! The best Thai restaurant we have been to. We are from Katy and will drive miles to get to this awesome restaurant. Thank you to Caleb for an outstanding job of service!
This new Thai restaurant in The Woodlands is so delish!! Our server was Amy and she made our evening so special. This place is so good I wouldn’t be shocked if a celebrity like Patton Oswalt would get to-go from here.
Great Thai food in the woodlands.
Great food and great atmosphere
This is our new favorite Thai restaurant! The menu was diverse and the food delicious!!
Try the whole fish dishes.
Experience was very good. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food tasted great. I would recommend to anyone looking for Asian cuisine in The Woodlands.
Good restaurant. Love the decoration and music. Very welcoming place. I tried their lunch specials. I ordered the Thai fried rice with chicken. It was delicious. Our waiter Amy was very friendly and attentive. I will be back to try more items.
Ordered the Red Curry, Chicken Satay and Mango Sticky Rice with their Thai Tea! Loved all of my choices and would come again to try the Managers Recommendations! 👍
The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The red curry tasted so good as well at the mango sticky rice and the Thai tea! Will definitely be back
Our third time here and it gets better every time. Amazing service - Amelia was attentive and helpful. The quality of the food was outstanding. Will absolutely come back again - hopefully soon!
This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant but lately when we had ordered delivery, the spice level has been over spicy when we just ordered a level 2 and when I select items to be removed, they still had it on the order. We will not be ordering from here again.
Excellent Thai Food...
Amy was a great server!
Great Thai food! And Amy provided excellent service.
If I could give more that 5 stars I would. Amazing service, seriously the kindest, sweetest and most attentive staff. Food was incredible, we had the yellow curry and shrimp pad Thai. Drinks were also amazing, “girls night out” was my favorite. Finally, the atmosphere.. just stunning, bright, and a total vibe.
Welp... Not traditional. Flavors were fine. Food was fresh. It's based on Thai food, but it's more of a Thai/USA fusion. As an example, there were American mushrooms, bell peppers and large quartered tomatoes in the pad kee mow (drunken noodles). The Thai basil, a very "traditional" dish was predominantly green beans with more bell peppers.
The flavors of the various proteins were all fine. But in the 5 very different dishes sampled for dinner, ALL of them had the bell peppers and green beans, tomatoes, etc. So the flavor profile of the entire table wound up being almost the same.
And the garlic used in the Thai basil was the minced garlic mix available from any grocery store. This has a tendency to be overly garlicky and has a much different flavor than fresh garlic.
I'll go again to see if it improves, but I wasn't a fan. Next time I'll see how they do with a customized drunken noodles if they can get it close.
Their Thai tea tasted fine, the jasmine rice was fine, the service was quick. The food comes very quickly (perhaps part of the problem? Using ready made filler or similar ingredients?). Everything was clean. Bathrooms were spotless, staff was friendly.
Overall, if you don't care about authenticity and want to drink, they have a full bar with some fusiony thai themed drinks, go, you'll probably enjoy it. If you are looking for a taste of home or love authentic traditional Thai ingredients, then keep looking.
