Meeboon is a full service restaurant that provides fresh Madre to order authentic Thai food Prepared my Chief Mee Mee herself.
This was my first time eating here and overall it was very good. I thought that it was a little pricey but as I stated it was very good. The staff was patient and helpful when asked to explain an item. The food was cooked to order with good flavor and nice and hot. It is worth giving it a try.
We were traveling from Austin to Dallas and wanted to have some Thai food. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking available. I ordered the Thai Tea to drink which I have had before. Personally it’s too sweet for me, so what I do is water it down so that it’s lighter on the sugar. I asked for an extra cup of water. I then ordered the Pad Thai which is my favorite when eating Thai food. I asked for Thai spicy 🌶️ and let me tell you their Thai spicy IS THAI SPICY, So if you eat spicy go for it 🥵. I absolutely loved the Pad Thai ! We also ordered the basil 🌿 fried rice which was also good. For dessert we got the Mango sticky rice which is what we like to order when we eat Thai and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a stop when on the road or in this area.
As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the employees. One employee was even cleaning the drink nozzles. Made me feel so clean when I walked in. Thai noodles were the best noodles I have ever had. Keep them up the good work Mee boon!!!!
This will be my go-to spot for now on. Food was delicious! I ordered the Thai Fried rice, with chicken, and cashew nut chicken dish. I loved both. Also, when I went to get my food, it was almost closing time and I went to the wrong place. Thankfully when I called them and explained, the lady said that she will wait for me. That was so sweet. They have a drive thru for phone order pick-ups too.. so that's very convenient.
Best tasting as well as largest take out portions of the 3 Thai places in town I've tried.

All the food is good
We dined here and ordered the wonton soup, Tom Judd soup with beef and two Thai coffee’s. The drinks and soups were super flavorful. The vegetables and meat were cooked to perfection. We were surprised how large the soups. The service was great and were were super happy overall.
Very nice place. Looking forward to my next doctor's appointment in Temple so I can eat here again. YUMMY 💝💖💖
The food is so good. Oh and the mango with sweet sticky rice is to die for !!! It's THE BEST.
I love the crab puffs here! So tasty!!!!

Love this place. Locally owned and operated.
Went through the drive thru without a pick-up order (pick-up only in the drive thru, but it was my first time there didn't know) and they allowed me to order still. That was really nice of them. They got the food out quickly.
I got 2 orders of the beef Pad Kee Mao and the portion sizes are worth the price of the plate. I believe it was $14.75 per plate ($1.50 extra for beef). I asked for medium spice and I would say it was on point.
Everything tasted great and I have to say the new owners prepare much better food than the previous Asian cuisine owners. I will be coming back for sure!
The food is fresh, the service is awesome and Atmosphere if dining in is pleasant enough.
Almost passed this place up because the outside isn’t much to look at but Oh my goodness the inside is what counted, the service the food⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I got the pad Thai & my kids got the traditional fried rice with tomatoes and EVERYTHING was so good! They do not play around with spice if you want it spicy it’s gonna be spicy! The everything was so flavorful! 72 dollars for 2 adults and 2 kids so not bad for the food and service!
I love this place. I was gonna leave. But was told they could make my food without bell peppers and onions (why can't other places do this?). I hate bell peppers and onions. Then she asked the spice level. That was impressive. They truly cared about the customer's likes and tolerances. Few places do this.
When I got the food. It was full of flavor in all the right ways and plenty of it to eat. You will not leave hungry.
This place never disappoints!
Always amazing!! Great vegan options.
Wow pad Thai is amazing!
The only place I found that has true meaning of Thai 🔥. I love it.
This is Temples best Thai/Vietnamese restaurant. Food is always perfection. Owner and staff are always so kind.
Delicious and wonderful service!
Very good Thai food! Every thing we got was delicious.
I live out of town, but I make it a point to grab food here whenever I'm in the area. Always good food.
Authentic thai food.
Visited for a short time and went here for the reviews. Ended up going twice knowing I wouldn't get as good back home, highly recommend. Also awesome and timely service!
Positives first. Nice waitress, seated promptly, food came very quickly, food was very good. After we ordered, prior to our food arriving our waitress brings an order of egg rolls and says “here are some egg rolls for you”. We thought they were complimentary. As we ate our meal a different waitress walks up and asked if we had an order of egg rolls. The wife says yes. The waitress says well, I am missing an order of egg rolls, so I am going to have to charge you for them and turns and leaves. Sure enough, they were on our bill. They had a mix up and I have to pay? It is not like I went and got them out of yhe window. Really used to like to eat there. Never ever going back though.
First, let me say the AC was not working when I went to Meeboon. Not good after spending time outside all day in Temple's heat and humidity.
I ordered the Chicken Satay and Tofu. Both dishes were unremarkable. The Tofu was plain and served with a hot dipping sauce. The Chicken Satay reminded me of Jamaican Jerk Chicken and served with a less than tasty peanut sauce I have come to love at other Thai restaurants. Their Thai tea is actually really good.
The waitstaff was nice and friendly.
The watress was super time efficient she was ready to get our order pretty fast and she cleared our table so we would have room for our meals after our appetizer and she was super friendly my family and I had a great experience
10/10.
Staff and food always excellent
I had the red curry, medium heat, and it was perfect for me. We also had the spring rolls. It's very tasty. The server was friendly and quick. If you're looking for a Thai restaurant, I recommend trying Meeboon.
MeeBoon Thai Cuisine always delivers a satisfying meal! Whether it's a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, I can count on their delicious food and reliable service. It's my go-to spot for a consistently enjoyable dining experience in Temple.
Hands down the best thai in the area. I live here locally but travel extensively. Been coming here for years and know the staff. Family run place . Come here at least a few times a month if not more . All the stafff are prompt and kind. Food is great . If In the area, please stop here . You won’t be disappointed!!

Traditional authentic Thai cuisine! Their food is always fresh, good portions, great service. We are lucky to have this Thai place in Temple!
Best Thai food I’ve found since moving here! The waitstaff is amazing!
This is one of the best Tai food restaurants I’ve been to. There is little to no wait time and the food comes out really fast. My friends and I love this place so much, we come here for all of our birthdays!
Really good food and service. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
Absolutely love this place. MeeMee and Sue are great. The food is always delicious. Everyone is very friendly.
Good is great and service awesome
Always a good place to eat.
We order the red chicken curry (Thai spicy) for take out fairly regularly. Always very good and fresh. Add pineapple for a nice touch!
Good service. Only call in drive thru pickup. Good food.
My favorite Thai place!
Their website is very confusing to order online and if you select any vegetables they end up taking them out of the dish. We spent $45 and 20% tip for takeout and received panang curry and pad see ew with no vegetables. They refused to add the vegetables in when we asked at the drivethru. Will definitely not go back.
Good Thai food on the highways and it is fast in delivery too.
A solid quaint dive for Thai Cuisine in the heart of Temple, TX, right off the Loop 363. Fewer than 10-15 Four tops and less than 6 two tops, this little gem comes to the ethnic palette-minded foodie with a expansive and varied menu list. Unassuming in nature, don't let that fool you. Upon entry I was greeted by the waitress (yes, there was only one while I was there) and she prompt and friendly with her seating and beverage duties.
Handing me the menu I couldn't help but notice that there were your classic choices of yellow, green, and red curry dishes, Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Fried Rice dishes, Satay, and of course the requisite Thai tea.
I ordered the Yellow curry with tofu dish. Given the choice between 4 different spice types ranging from mild to pretty dang spicy, I chose the mild. There were the other choices of chicken, beef, and shrimp available as well.
The service was great. The Thai tea came out first, then the side of rice next, and then the main course. It was a true Thai delight. I have had Thai at quiet a few restaurants in my life, so I'm pretty comfortable being a little snobbish with my critique (ha!). The price was $14.25 for the Yelliw Curry with Tofu and the Thai iced tea was 3.95. It was worth it. Copious amounts of delicious and creamy Thai is what I wanted and that's EXACTLY what I got. The spices were just overall scrumptious. I'll be going back, perhaps to try either the Pad Thai or the Shrimp with Green Curry dish. Find time in your hectic schedule to find this dive and eat your heart out. It's worth it.
Very conscientious staff.
Never had a bad meal here. The Thai food is authentic and delicious. You can get most everything in a mild option for wimps like me and up to Double Thai Spice for spicy food nuts like the one I married.
The Tom Ka Gai is killer and I learned to make it at home because of a great experience with a new-to-me food here. The combination Pad Thai is yummy and you can customize the veg in it. DH likes the Pepper Beef.
Food was fresh and very yummy
Such a friendly staff! Love the food.
Not to self, don't try the pepper steak. HORRIBLE. And to make matters worse they won't take it off the bill so now I need to decline charges.
Fast friendly service which makes it a perfect place for a lunch break. Food is fresh and delicious. I love the Thai basil fried rice with shrimp. The crab rangoons are perfect.
The green curry was delicious. If you like spicy I'd get hot not medium. Service was ok nothing special. Coachroach on the floor was irritating. But bugs are everywhere right now.
We were traveling from Austin to Dallas and wanted to have some Thai food. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking available. I ordered the Thai Tea to drink which I have had before. Probably the best Thai food in Central Texas. Great curry. Great traditional dishes. A stop you won’t regret. Pay attention to hours though. They don’t open until noon on Sunday.
The food was bland and the prices were high. I ordered the crab wontons ( wontons stuffed with crab and cream cheese), the menu said 8 but I only got 5, but was charged for 8. I never will go back there again. My bill was $60 for 2 people, needless to say it wasn't worth the money.
Really love their Pad Thai 🫰 and their Tom Yum is legitttttt 💯 Tho, the mango in the mango sticky rice is not that sweet.
20$ for some garbage fried rice!... will not go back.
Food was great! The restaurant was steamy in the middle if July heat but wouldn’t deter me from coming back
Fantastic Tom Kha!
For a small hole in the wall place the food is excellent. Service is good as well but the atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. Don't let the looks of the place scare you away. Best thai food in temple.
Love this place! The food is excellent quality and superb flavor. Prepared hot and fresh to order. Service wad excellent and the waitresses made some excellent suggestions. Cashew chicken for the win! Plus Thai fried rice with pork and a beef flat noodle dish ( Pas se ew?) in a sweet brown sauce. Perfect balance of sweet and savory, we opted for no spice, but they do offer custom spice levels. Plenty to share for 4 people and still had a leftover plate for lunch the next day!
Shrimp Spring rolls 100/10!! Customer service was awesome! Super yummy
Really, really fast!
But the food was still great!.
Terrific yellow curry. Excellent pad thai! Some of the most well cooked egg rolls I've ever had. Crab rangoons that actually had visible "crab". Even some small chunks.
We'll stop here every time that we travel through Temple.
I've eaten their Cashew Chicken for years but recently I've noticed no more mushrooms or little corn and less chicken but increase in price it seems. Bring back the mushrooms please! It's not really worth the money any more (for me) unfortunately but still tastes good.
There was a Thai food restaurant my family loved called Mimi's. You would always get one complimentary spring roll and dipping sauce. The food was excellent! The servers were a mix of ethnicities because Mimi had a blended family. We always felt special when we walked in. Then they closed and new locations popped up in Temple. A restaurant named Mimi's like the original, and Meeboon. As far as I'm concerned, a restaurant is it's food. It is the soul of the restaurant. At Meeboon's Thai restaurant we received a complimentary spring roll that tasted just like before. The panang was the same as the original. And the environment was comfortable, about the food! We found out that the resturant named Mimi is not run by Mimi herself, it's just the name. This is now our new favorite Thai food restaurant in Temple. You can steal a name, but you can't steal the cooking. So glad we found her again!!!
Great customer service, friendly staff, fast service, delicious Thai food, chai tea, will return again.
The best Thai food I have ever had! I've loved them since their original location.
Not sure if visiting Thailand making me have an idea about how real Tom Kra Gai soups should taste, but whatever beeing served in this location is Avsolutelly NOT !! No flavor whatsoever , none, zilch, nada .... I everything is plain, tasteless, and dull. Water have more spices and flavor .....
Authentic Thai cuisine
Always great food and quick service.
Been frequenting the owner's establishments for over a decade.
Get your food from her original establishment, Mees Mees on S General Bruce Dr. This place has gotten ridiculously overpriced. Called to order pad se ew and was told that beef would be an additional $1.50 & shrimp an additional $3.50 making the total for that meal $20.55. She said only chicken or pork would be included any other type of "meat" there would be an additional charge since they just changed their menu yesterday. 🙄 I told her it's ok I'll just go ahead and place my order @ the original Mees Mees, and I'm glad I did. Exact same order was $14.88. So do yourself a favor and avoid this overpriced place. Ol' Mee Mee has gotten a bit too greedy with her new MeeBoons location. Pitiful!
In regards to your response Meeboons: that's sad that you would knock the other business that serves the EXACT same food & portions as you. Actually their portions are probably a bit larger...so there's that. And as a matter of fact I will continue to enjoy the other places food from now on, and save my $$ by not being ripped off by you. As far as you getting your food from Thailand...thats laughable. I'm sure you mean Costco, Sam's, etc! 😉 Have a good day, and I hope you can continue sleeping at night ripping people off the way you do. 👋🤑
The waitress was very friendly. The food is excellent. It
Great Thai food they always impress.
My absolute favorite Thai place. I always get the Tom Ka Gai. So delicious.
Great food. Nice people.
Excellent Thai food, super fast service (food started coming out while the server was still at our table taking our orders thanks to their handy devices). The green curry was amazing! I like it pretty spicy and "medium" was good for me here. They were able to accommodate my request to leave an ingredient out, which I appreciated.
Over all good
Great lunch stop. Have never gotten a bad meal in a dozen trips over the last year. But be warned, I like spicy and have only ordered "hot" once, never again. Medium is where it's at.
I went to eat dinner at a restaurant with my mom, coconut rice with mango roasted sesame seeds for dessert.
Ever since they moved, the total FSA has decreased. Loyalty is one thing, but don't take us for granted. Might have to go back to the other Thai place for the same foods.
They do not have a drive thru, order ahead or go in only. Even though their listing says they do.
Lovely dinner! Great portion size.
Food was good and clean
The green curry here is the best I've had.
The spring roll in peanut sauce wasn't good. The peanut sauce was too sweet.
Food is excellent, service is great!!!!!
I could eat here everyday. They have the best shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Good food and great staff.
Complimentary spring roll when you come in.
Soups are wonderful.
The green curry was delicious.
Large portions.
Attentive service.
Will be back!
Another Thai cafe? The selections offered more than Thai. The "HOT" will torch your head. If you order "HOT" you deserve the "experience" and you will not get a refund. Mild will be adequate for all but the masochistic types among us. After all people, you can always add spicy hot. Enough about hot, the meal was excellent.
Great fresh food. Fast and friendly service
Tried the Pad Thai and is was delicious!! Very flavorful, and was spicy and perfectly dressed. Friendly staff, and very helpful when ordering. Highly recommend. I can't wait to try the other menu options.
I ordered fried veggies egg rolls and stir-fried veggies and shrimp. It was perfect 👌 Hot, fresh, tasty and perfectly spiced. The place is small but you can order and pickup at the window. The service was great!!
All good. Freshly made also.
This is the best place in town ..amazing food and wonderful people.
W😋W!
We ordered Laab and Broccoli with chicken. Both dishes were exceptionally good. Look at that broth in the broccoli dish! You'll never have it that good. It's Mee Mee's secret broth and if it were my recipe I would keep it secret too! So many layers of delicious flavor. Laab was the best in the US (so far). I will crave that broth until God willing we are back in Texas.
So far, the best Thai restaurant in Temple, TX.
They did not cater to vegan customers the menu was confusing the didn't even try to help me select anything.
I sat and watched my friends eat
The food was great! The staff was super sweet, especially Lisa, as she was patient with us through the whole process.
This restaurant was excellent! They have a variety of options that cover Thai staples to the most specialized dishes such as Tom Yum soups. The server was very nice and provided great recommendations. The portions and price were also very reasonable. Overall and excellent choice if you're looking for a local hidden gem outside if your chain regular restaurants
Authentic Thai food, delicious and absolutely recommend to visit.
Only had dumplings but service was great. Erika my server was extremely helpful and tended to me perfectly. The rest of the staff was great also. The food was delicious. I had steamed dumplings. They were awesome. I'll be back really soon.
Great food I suggest the curry.
Small Thai restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. Owner come out to check on you and ask how everything is so far.
Always loved the food, mango rice always slaps and green curry is my favorite under the weather soup to have
Very good food and service.
Great food, just like when it was Meemee's on W. Adams
Very good. First time there. Was very impressed with the portion size. Will definitely go again.
Awesome!
The Combination Pad Thai was phenomenal. I absolutely loved it!
Great food, wonderful waitress ! We will be back:)
Fresh food. So delicious and awesome service. Thank you
Best Thai food in Temple. It is even better than than Mee Mee, even though they are both owned by the same people. I have ordered a variety of dishes and they all have been well flavored and the portions are large-no skimping on the portions. Service is always very good and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Mee Bon for Thai food.
I’ve had a good amount of Thai food in my life, and this is by far, the worst. First, the Thai tea was disgustingly sweet and tasted like pure sugar. Second, I had the pineapple chicken fried rice, and it tasted like regular fried rice that you’d order from a Chinese-American place with pineapples, thick pieces of onion, and random tomatoes added. My girlfriend had the chicken pad Thai, and she gave it a 5 out of 10 stars at best. The egg rolls and fried dumplings were really greasy. Third, the food was extremely overpriced for the quality. I will not be dining here again. The only positive is the staff was friendly.
Best Thai food in central Texas!
Top notch Thai cuisine..convenient location, drive thru window for call in orders..excellent food, did I already say that? Go check them out!!
Great place to get Thai food. The place is clean, service is friendly, and the food is really good. Highly recommend!
Food was really good and service was very fast
Great place to enjoy a delicious meal.
My sister lives in town and very much enjoys their food.
My buddy likes hot food so he ordered his "medium" and he was ok. I prefer low, and it was spicy, good spicy not too hot.
The vegetable wraps were good and the appetizers with cream cheese were also good.
Everyone enjoyed their meal.
I took leftovers home, was enough for 2 more meals.
Basic seating, food was good.
This food is spectacular. I came in and had the Crab n Cheese Rangoons and Pan Fried dumplings. Both were fantastic! Highly recommend this place. Restaurant itself is pretty small and needs a face-lift. However, the food makes up for that! Waitress was wonderful, too.
Always great. Highly recommend. Great service and great food. Always my spot. But not on Mondays :(
Great food. Great prices
I was very happy to find this place.
Everything is made there and the vegetables spring rolls are great! We also had the TomYum Noodles which were fantastic.
Thank you for a good meal.
Delicious food and fast, friendly service!
Excellent. Mee mee serves the best. Her wait staff provide excellent service as well!
It was delicious and fast friendly and great portions can't ask for better!
First and LAST time going to this place. 3 words to anyone considering going here NO HAIR NETS.
The taste was so sweet, not really authentic Thai food and I was so disappointed. Shrimps also not fresh at all, they use cheap quality noodle for pad see ew. Sorry not recommended at all
