Tiny, simple Thai nook with sidewalk seats whips up noodles, spicy curries & other familiar fare.
I google this place wasn't far from where I was working. Placed my order with pork in my veggie plate it was a very long wait. Not a place to go for lunch when most people only get 30 minutes for lunch. I waited 1 hour and not that many people in the place. Nice cute place but the veggies were not cooked maybe 3 to 4 minutes. I will try them again if I hit the lottery my meal with nothing to drink 21.00 that's a little high for a lunch. But we have sky high prices on food as all Americans know by now. Vote Trump 2025
The food is always wonderful, tons of fresh veggies! But my favorite thing is the family who runs it. They care so much about the community and they are always excited about some new artistic endeavor going on in their lives. They’re an inspiration. I’ve started collecting his wood turned mushrooms. I really love them.
Simple menu and expect to go over $20 per person, for lunch, this may not fit well but they are only open for lunch. Once I received my food, it was piled on, large portions. Expect slower service and food during peak hours because there’s one person in front and one person in kitchen. Good and tasty. Expect to be there to sit and relax and wait for your lunch, not for quick pick up or quick lunch hour. Friendly but I wasn’t ready to pay that much for lunch with entree and water.
Food was delicious! We had the spicy beef egg rolls and Sweet and sour chicken plate. So good! Will definitely come back for more!
Ginger thai chicken was light and wonderful flavor. Pad Thai chicken was a heavier sauce but super delicious!
Will, Pat and Timothy are amazing people. First time here and i’m extremely satisfied. Im happier than a puppy with two bones! Oh yeah and i got a BIG RED drink on ice… have not had one of those since i was a kid! Thanks Will!

Me And my son tried it for the first time, it was great!!!
Owners are very upbeat. Service food and value are all outstanding. Not a large venue but visually rich.

This may be the best restaurant in Longview. Super ultra mega awesome good.
Fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Good food. Great friends.
Very disappointed with the food here. I had heard good things about this place so was anxious to try it. Maybe I didn’t order the right thing? Cashew chicken, which was very weird and unlike any cashew chicken I’ve had before. Cut-up orange in it, few cashews, and bland. Service was great. Not sure if I’ll be back to try something else yet.
Fantastic food! Always busy, but never too busy to get it perfect! If you aren't sure what order, just pick anything! It's all great!
Certainly a jewel in Longview.
I say this all the time but if I were be granted a last meal wish at any point in my life it would 1000000% be from here. Everything I’ve ever had was more than amazing. I’ve been hooked on the Tom Kah Gai soup for a good while now. It’s a bit pricey but I will pay whatever for some good food. The way she makes her version of Tom Kah is way better than any Thai place I’ve tried in the US. Love them.
Will and Pat are amazing! The food is so wonderful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting 😊
Not your average Place. Food and service was outstanding. Owners were very polite and friendly. Place is small, with an Austin vibe. However, they don’t share Austin political views and are on the “sane” side. A fact that I also appreciate. Food is made when you order it with nothing frozen. We’ll be back…haven’t ever had better Thai food anywhere.
Awesome Thai food. You need to be little patient to get food but it tastes awesome.
They are undeniably amazing. Fresh, delicious, amazing food!!! And the man who rings you up is just a wonderful human and makes you happy to be eating there. 100% worth the price
Green curry was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
This has got to be the best home made Thai food I’ve ever had !!! 6 Star all the way ! FYI , the Pad Thai is off the chain !
It's home cooking from a place I've never been to, the workers are friendly and the food was amazing
Food and service was excellent, thank you 🙏
Love this place 🫶🏻
The pad see ew tofu was incredible!! The local art scene sees a lot of support here, and the owners are so nice. Loved it.
Another one of those places the locals know about.
Situated in a tiny shop near the Gregg County court house, this place is absolutely amazing.
2 people run this shop between lunch and 2pm. They are extremely busy. But the food is worth the wait. If you want to have REAL THAI food, not that fast food or buffet garbage that most people THINK is asian. Try this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
The food was excellent and the conversation about art exhibits and photos on the wall was worth the visit. I do not have any complaints. The owner was super nice and attentive. We'll dine in there again at some point.
This is the place to get Thai food in Longview. The wait is long but well worth it. I love the pineapple fried rice. The curry is good too.
Food was very bad. I Love Thai food, but this was not good. Did not meet the reviews I had seen
Lil Thai House has been a favorite of mine for years. They have the best Thai food in my opinion. The wife marries the flavors together extremely well in EVERY dish. I read reviews that stated some dishes were bland and not worth the $$$ I DISAGREE. One dish is enough for 2 people to share, but I split my dishes in half so I can indulge in the goodness later on or the next day. I've tried several dishes from years ago to current, and my favorite is chicken or shrimp pad Thai (hands down); the pad ped was so good, and the coconut soup was amazing and welcoming on the taste buds. My husband had drunken rice and drunken noodles on this menu. I say that because a few years ago they used to open for lunch and dinner, but now they're only open 11 to 2 for lunch Mon-Fri. (That's my only disappointment) I love the feel of the environment because it's like I'm in a quaint little eatery in Thailand. All three employees (which have ran the place for years together) are warm and inviting, friendly, and will help you with your food choices. I'll advise anyone who haven't ate here to GO CHECK THEM OUT. If you do frequent them venture out and try something different.
Absolutely love this tiny little restaurant located in downtown Longview!!!!! For it amazing and just as good as the food I've had in Thailand!!!! Owner are amazing
Their food is probably the best you'll find in Longview and is competitive with Thai cuisine I've tried in larger markets saturated with Thai options.
Unfortunately, there is one ingredient that is very unappetizing. The owners choose to display and promote dangerous conspiracy theories, political misinformation, and openly support politicians that threatened to end democracy.
It is unfortunate to find such rich flavors in an environment that is so void of taste and tact.
Please, speak up if you too find this to be an unwelcomed dining experience.
Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to the hype. I had the chicken pad Thai the wife had the kang dang (red curry) we both found our food to be bland and completely lacking flavor. 3 stars still because the service was good staff was polite and place was clean.
Best Thai food ever! Made hot and fresh on the spot!! I'm addicted to this place. The owners are so sweet.
The food was delicious and a large serving. The owner shared stories about local areas and we enjoyed lunch there. Will go again.
Been going here for years. I get spicy drunken noodles w/chicken 🍜, its my go to.
Owner is super chill, amazing food, good music, very cool art work throughout.
Absolutely the best fried rice I have ever tested!
Amazing!!!!
I want to like this place and support it, and even though I understand the long wait and the prices being on the high end, I am not impressed by all the key ingredients that were missing from traditional Thai staples like green chicken curry and Pad Thai. We were told they’ve been slammed the past two weeks but maybe some things should be taken off the menu if all you’re going to do is stir-fry a stack of noodles in pad thai sauce and make a green curry without any other vegetable than baby eggplants. There was the barest of smatterings of a bit of basil or a piece of onion or a sliver of green onion, but no bean sprouts or bamboo shoots or peppers, making these the literal poorest examples of Thai food I’ve had. They have plenty of stunning reviews, but I think they’re lacking ingredients now, and that makes for very disappointing dishes. ’
Miss this place so much. Work in Tyler now, so lunch trips just aren’t doable. One of my favorites in Longview.
I personally love this place. I only ever order their curries, which are excellent. They have a more homemade flavor which is unique. The atmosphere of the store is as unique as their curries. Lots of local art and some local odds and ends for sale like honey.
I can't speak for their dishes except the curries.
I usually am in and out pretty quick. but if you order something they do not sell often it can take them some time to make it since everything is made to order...
Great place! Red curry was great!
Yummy
Food is always made fresh and delicious! Family favorite! Great conversations while waiting. Enjoy locals!
A truly unique gem in a city full of vapid chain restaurants. Will and Pat are incredible and inviting! The best in town!
Good food and always a good time talking with the owners
I love the food at this restaurant. It’s small but the food packs a delicious punch ! Everything is freshly prepared when you order it! Anyone that enjoys Thai food owes it to them self to try this location. The owners are super cordial & invested in the community.
There's a reason this place has a near perfect rating! It's probably the best dish that you'll get in Longview. Yup, it's a small joint and you'll wait a while for your food to be made to order, but it's worth it by a long shot. Will be back
Lil Thai House in downtown Longview!!! All I can say is WOW!! This place is a hidden gem. If you can go I definitely recommend this especially for your Thai fix! I got the curry plate with chicken and I was hooked from the first bite. The flavors are there and bursting with a hundred different flavors that blend together like TWIZZLERS! A must stop on your journey. I would have given this establishment 100 stars if I could. It's a smaller establishment than a normal restaurant setting but soooooooo worth it I can promise you that. 🧡✝️
A great place to get Thai food. Everything is made fresh. When it is really busy wait time can be a bit long, but so worth it.
Always delicious and fresh! Great people, great food!
Just as the name would suggest it is in fact a Lil' Thai House. The have a great menu and fresh thai food cooked just for you.
They are open for lunch but be prepared to wait becaus they can get pretty busy. Well worth the wait though.
I had the Cashew Chicken and it was delicious as always. About 19.45 with a bottle of water, but with the quality of food and the portions you could probably make two meals out of it.
Went here with my boyfriend and his friend yesterday and the owner was so nice, the service and food was excellent. Would love to come here again! Definitely told my family about this place.
1st time going and it was delicious. So much art to look at. Not only did I get pad Thai, I also bought a t-shirt and custom chopsticks. Will definitely go back.
Phenomenal service with hands on owners
Exelente lugar para comer apoya al comercio local el dueño muy amable
Food was excellent. Cooked to order, hot and fresh.
Excellent food. The owner was super nice. The portions are massive, so consider bringing a date to share with.
Food and service were both fantastic.
Small family owned restaurant with excellent service and food. Tried the basil chicken and it was excellent.
Best restaurant I have ever eaten at.
the food was amazing! Very authentic!
Always great, never fails, love the flair of flavors.
Delicious and they have custom chop sticks
Attempted to eat there my first time. Tried to call ahead the phones were so busy I cousins go through. After trying at least 5 times I drove down there to place an order to go hit the guy at the counter said it would be at least 40 minutes. That’s my entire lunch break. I just said no thank you. You’d think with this place being so busy that would have a better system down.
We got the pleasure of trying this place for the first time today and it was out of this world. These people are super cool and the food was on point. Can’t wait to go back!!!
The food is amazing and so are the Owners!!!
Very good food and service!
Not believing a restaurant want allow "customized orders"... they clearly stated their food is not fast food its made when ordered. I don't eat onions and don't think you should have to pick out something you don't eat and pay full price. According to their staff everything on their menu has onions. It's time for every business to stop using the pandemic for poor customer service. This was my first time at this business and I will not be back.
I’m craving Little Thai House just thinking about how good their food is! Service has always been friendly, too. ❤️💕❤️
If you're in downtown Longview, Tx. during lunch hours you should try this establishment, amazing food!!
Best places in town
Good food. Clean. Friendly staff.
Delicious, great owners
Excellent food, great people
We went to the restaurant at 1:10 pm. I wanted to order chicken pad Thai but the lady from the kitchen rudely screamed “I’m not making that!” The man taking my order tried to make things less awkward and complimented on my name. He said if I would like veggies as an option, I said okay. It was 2:20pm when I got my order. I know they have a sign hanging out that says “this is not fast food” but that long wait was not worth it at all. Such a disappointment. I do not recommend this place.
Very friendly people and the food is delicious! Thank you Will and Pat!
First time to visit. They have intriqued my palette to try some more soon
I gave it 4 stars because it was a cool little place and I liked the people that worked there, I have never ate Thai before so I have nothing to compare it to, and didn't really know what to order, we got the pineapple fried rice, not really for me, had like an Indian type smell and taste, the chicken in it was good but what ever the seasoning is kinda takes over everything, so not really a fan of thai
Great place & clean. Good food for take out.
Quaint little place with very friendly staff. Excellent food! Best Thai I have ever had. My new favorite restaurant
Simply phenomenal food
My Favorite place to eat!
Authentic Thai food. Definitely worth the wait.
Lil Tia House is a Great little place to go for Tai food. It's Authentic and everything is fresh and delicious. And the Owners are wonderful people. Thanks for Reading 😁
Panang curry today. Chicken fresh veggies and super spicy. Excellent!
I totally enjoyed food, will be back
Perfect! Spices are amazing! And a military discount!
One of my favorite places in Longview Texas! If you want authentic Thai this is the perfect place.
Awesome!
Great food, cozy setting, and the owner is very personable and kind.
Delicious, Authentic Thai food. Like eating at a friend's house. The food is prepared after you order so don't expect fast food.
Ordered vegan drunken noodles everything was really fresh, light on oil. Would recommend
Best Thai Food you will ever eat. Hidden Gem in Longview. Be prepared to spend 30 minutes waiting for your freshly cooked food. But oh is it worth the wait!! Wished there was a 10 star option.
Excellent food
Picked up a door dash here, but food smells amazing. I will be back for myself.
30 minute wait at lunch time rush but worth it!
Great food, always good and fresh.
Wow what a find in Longview.
I had read the reviews and decided I wanted to try this place as I love authentic Thai cuisine. Unlike many restaurants in this age of premade and quick mixes this place takes no shortcuts. Every meal is prepared freshly for you so a bit of a wait. I would much prefer waiting a short time for a fabulous meal than the shortcuts taken at other establishments.
If you love Thai food you absolutely owe it to yourself to try the Lil Thai House as it's the best I have found in the area.
Nothing else to say! hands down! Amazing!
Honestly, its probably the best and most authentic Thai place in TX. Love the food and friendly service.
I will never not rave about this place. The pineapple fried rice and spicy egg rolls are incredible. Be prepared to wait (worth it) and get there early before they run out!
Fantastic meal! Love the service and food comes out in a reasonable time. Great atmosphere. Recommend the ginger chicken stir fry
Excellent food. Great owners
The pad thai is awesome, large portion. Great price and food perpared quickly!
Food cannot be beat. I also like the staff.
Don't bother. Food takes at least half an hour and is CRAZY overpriced.
Food and service is amazing!! Who ever put 1 star is probably someone hating on them cuz their food was so fresh and so good!!
The best Thai Curry I've ever had in the most random place in Texas! The cafe is delightfully eccentric. But I can't say enough good things about the flavor of the Red and Panang Curries. I've had both dishes countless times all over the US (never Thailand, sigh) and this is freshest, most rustic, and thoroughly flavorful rendition I've experienced. The chef is clearly a master at her craft, forged by generations of family heritage and experience. Stop in at all costs.
Best food ever
Best place to get Thai food. Amazing
The service was quick and friendly? My food was ok; my pad Thai tasted like it was made with fish sauce which can happen at some Thai restaurants. But the local at was killer. Check out the local vibe and the local art. Everyone else I was with lived their food. Specifically, try the peanut stir fry.
Great food, great service! Worth it!
My very favorite place to eat in Longview. Their food is amazing, they are friendly, and each order is cooked fresh. Wish I could give them 10 stars! Love this place!
Expensive but good
too small. weird hours.
Love the chicken pad Thai and other dishes!
Really great food 👍
Love the EGG ROLLS
excellent service the people of the place are very nice and the food is very good, the place is full of art, very good vibes in the place
pretty good food
This is probably the one restaurant you have to try at least once if you live or are swing through Longview. I have been to many Thai places in Texas but this is probably the most authentic and delicious. The level of spice is truly perfect for those who like it spicy without losing any flavor. Don't worry they do have a non spicy option for those who just read the last sentence. They also offer yummy vegan dishes as well. The space they are in is a little small so finding seating can be difficult sometimes.
Last, this my FAVORITE place to eat in Longview whether I get it to go or sit in the restaurant.
Best thai in town
Great food everytime.
The food here is absolutely priceless, yet they are kind enough to sell their food for a reasonable price. In my opinion this is the best place to eat downtown. Also, try their Vietnamese Coffee. Its pdg.
Paid over $35 for two plates of food. A friend said this place is the best. I ordered the most popular item according to the menu online. It smells like rotting flesh. The tase was not much better. Put pepper flakes on it. Now it's just spicy and stinks. Im done!
My favorite place to eat in Longview. Delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and very friendly staff. A little on the pricier side but definitely worth it. I've been coming here for years and the staff always remembers me and makes great conversation.
Very good food
Good place to eat some thai food
Very friendly owners and very good food! Definitely satisfied my Thai cravings while visiting Longview. I ordered the Drunken Fried Rice and I'd definitely recommend it. Also, the food is made fresh basically in front of your eyes. This place seems to be a favorite among the locals, so if you've never been you should give it a try!
This is the best Thai there is in Texas in a setting that represents the small family business that it is. I just wish they were open more days for dinner.
Best lil thai house makes the best food
Excellent Thai food here. Most likely a wait but well worth it. Seating is sometimes limited but they offer to go orders as well.
Traditional Thai food. It is not fast food just really awesome food.
All time favorite restaurant. Just wish they would stay open longer hours. I always seem to crave them when they are closed.
Wonderful, authentic and fresh Thai Food. Lovely family ran and owned establishment. When you eat their food you can taste how fresh everything is!
