We ordered Crispy Fried Calamari ($8.95) which was good. Order came with about 9 pieces and were perfectly fried. Wife and I both had the Pad Kee Mow ($15.95). Oldest son had the Mussaman Curry ($16.95). Youngest son had the Street Noodle BBQ Roasted Pork ($15.95). Good portions with nice flavors.

We wrapped up the evening with Mango Sticky Rice ($8.50) which nearly stole the show. A surprise discount of 15%(!!!) to celebrate their 15th year in business was a great surprise so we paid it forward with a bigger tip for their team.

$75.68 was the total so we made it an even $100. Thanks again for the enjoyable meal and solid service.

I grew up in Toronto, a city where people are spoiled for choice when it comes to authentic international cuisine. Thai food is no exception to that so when I was in town visiting a friend, I told her that I wanted to try something different. Still, she insisted that we try Golden Thai Cuisine.

We ordered the crab cakes to start but wanted to give the chef carte blanche. She sent out a variety of dishes, several of which I’ve personally never tried before or even seen on menus in Thai restaurants back home. It was a lot of food for two (at least 4-5 dishes) but we cleaned it up…

Among some of my favorites were the raw shrimp salad, coconut soup, and I can’t believe I’m saying this but the crab rangoons. I have never been a fan of these but my goodness, they were so fresh here. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Dallas. Thank for your hospitality, Bambi and team!

I've ordered from here a couple times with no real issues but last week I ordered delivery and they forgot the extra rice I ordered. Then when I called to inquire about a refund the man I spoke to was extremely rude telling me I didn't order more rice while I was looking at the confirmation that stated I did. He then hung up on me. With so many other options for dining out or delivery I would skip this one.

This place has some of the best Thai food and tea I’ve tried. The environment is amazing and service is great, very surprise that we always see this place empty. A family favorite in Keller, definitely recommend.

I have frequented the Golden Thai Cuisine several times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the service is second to none. They recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary and thanked their customers by giving them a 15 % discount. Definitely above and beyond. An HONEST review!
My order consisted of 3 fried rice dishes. The total was almost $60. When I got home and opened my bag there were 3 small plastic containers with my rice dishes inside. I was disappointed at the size since each one was over $15. Since when are there cashews, raisins, and corn in fried rice? It was not seasoned well and the shrimp was tough and dry. There were no utensils, soy packets or napkins in the bag. I don't mind spending money on good food. But they are overpriced and the portions are too small for the price. I will not be returning and would not recommend.

Atmosphere is mellow but the food is amazing ! Service was very attentive and refilled my water right away. I had the pad ke mow ( drunking noodle ) medium spice and it was perfect. The spice is not overwhelming, could go for spicy next time. My next dish to try here will be the boat noodle soup.

LOVE this place, we come here almost every week. The Thai food here is similar to West Coast Thai food which I have no idea if that is authentic or not but that is the kind that we prefer. The cashew chicken is divine and the pad thai is also wonderful. They do have a kid's menu for the fussy eaters (aka, kid) so all of us are happy here. It's in a plaza so nice huge lot. The lunch specials are my favorite, they come with a super yummy soup and a spring roll.

We recently ordered from this place...we ordered green curry (hot) and panang curry ( mild)...the taste was good but the amount of oil...omg...horrible ...and the curry that was to be mild was also hot ..could not enjoy it...it's a big no for me.

My husband and I love this place! Both their food and service is really amazing! We've tried multiple Thai places, and this is the very best. Our favorite is always chicken pad thai, but their curry is also pretty amazing. We came last week and it was closed for break, unfortunately, so we tried a different place that left me a little disappointed 😅. What completely won me over at Golden Thai is that I can request no msg, and the cook honors it.

Today, January 14, temperatures are freezing (14 degrees), and the owner did not have the heater on. Once the food came out, our food rapidly turned cold and we were unable to enjoy the food. The restaurant was so cold that my legs were turning into ice.

If we had known it would be so arctic inside this Thai restaurant, we would not have gone in. A cold plate (fridge level cold) with legs filled with icicles makes it not worth a dine-in.

The owner appeared friendly but did not really care about the client.

This place used to be very good but has gone downhill. Sometimes certain dishes are good but not consistently. I was not satisfied with my dish and the owner insisted I pay for it even though the “heat lamp” hadn’t kept the food warm enough. The owner said he would swap my food for something different but then came back with my same soggy dish.

The whole place has a very homey family feel. Food was fantastic. We ordered Crab cake, Chicken Sa-tay, Tom Yum Soup, Crab Fried Rice, Stir-Fried Sweet & Sour with Chicken. So glad we dropped by, will be coming back often!!

Food was very good and fresh. Menu had lots of options and price point was reasonable. Service was meh. The young lady never checked on us. We had to flag her down when ready to order, to ask a question, to get to go boxes at the end. There were only 3 other patrons and another older lady doing service. So, 2 tables per wait staff seems more than reasonable. It wasnt bad per se, just annoying and the only critique. We'll definitely be back!

This place came highly rated and when I wanted to find a place to take my mom for her 84th birthday, she chose here. Unfortunately she's not amenable to spicy food, so she ordered the wonton soup, and I had the Tom yam. For entrees, she ordered shrimp lo mein and I had Prad kra pao.

The lo mein came with so many shrimp that she couldn't even finish them all. I've had every type of curry, Pad Thai, Pad Se Eow and Lad Nah, but the Pad Kra Pao was new and wonderful for me.

Our servers were excellent. Go eat here.

I had high hopes for this place. Would I go back there again? Probably not. I will stick with Thailicious in Southlake. I spent $80 worth of take-out for dinner. Let’s start with the three flavored fish that about $21. It’s a small fried tilapia with sweet and sour sauce basically. I could have cooked it better. In addition the fish was very thin with lots of batter and deep fried. I also ordered drunken noodles. Terrible. Where are the Asian veggies? All it had was broccoli instead on chinese broccoli or baby bokchoy. Had bell peppers, lots of onions and holy basil as supposed to Thai basil which has a completely different flavor and aroma. Well the entire place is truly lacking the typical Thai veggies because the chicken massaman curry and fried curry were the same. All it had were bell peppers and loaded with onions. The reason for the two star was because of the mango with sticky rice. That was really good. Other than that eh. Oh the ladies that worked there were very nice

I think this is one of the best Thai cuisines in the Keller area. The service was great, food was yummy and exactly how we wanted. We really liked the ambience as well. I would highly recommend this place.

Previously ordered some fried rice and egg rolls theough Uber and it was good so I stopped by today and ordered the crying tiger steak to-go. I was pretty disappointed in the quality of the steak, it wasn't worth the $30 it cost after taxes and fees.

Ordered Orange Chicken. It wasn't edible. Dry stringy bits of chicken with the sauce on the side. I won't be rushing back.

So we've been going to this restaurant for years now. They significantly improve year after year with amazing service with a smile. The food is amazing for lunch and dinner. I can't tell you how much I love their Cashew Tofu over rice while my husband loves their Pepper Beef lunch specials. For dinner I love the Siamese Fish while my husband lives the Crying Tiger Beef. Ask for sticky rice instead if the regular jasmine rice. It's a nice change and so much yummier! Enjoy!

This little Thai place is a gem, Pad Tai options are very good, best one try the Pad See Eew (sounds weird but it's excellent). Kind and quick service by the staff and fare pricing.
Only draw back back is the dinning room A/C doesn't cool properly.

Breath of fresh air. The chef took extra care to prepare the meals. Customar care is impeccable. I recommend if you reside near keller-southlake-trophy clun area, give it a try.

In an effort to find something that would satisfy my hunger during a corporate 21 day Daniel Fast, I serendipitously discovered Golden Thai Cuisine. The food was ready in about 10-15 minutes. My two bowls of fresh veggies were steamed to perfection and delectable. I especially enjoyed the baby corn, broccoli, cabbage and carrots which still held a fresh crunch. I felt like I was eating freshly harvest crops from a nearby farmers market. For this reason, I highly recommend Golden Thai Cuisine! Peace & Blessing!

I'm not reviewing the food cause I lost my appetite and let my family order theirs. I'm reviewing the service. I mistakenly ordered a coke and I was changing my order to a Thai iced tea but was told I can't cancel the coke and have to pay both. When I was asked what is my main order, I let the family order theirs; and told the lady "I'll just have my coke". What a place!

Service slow, server said she "thought we had already ordered;" but only three tables were seated at the time. Huh? Food was ok but very small portions. Would not substitute brown rice unless paid upcharge for it. Entree was already overpriced for the atmosphere of the place, and small portions. Won't be back.

I am sure the food is delicious but didn't have a chance to eat. Understanding service is a fickle thing for restaurant and retailers now days, I try to give some leeway prior to criticism. After being instructed by a hostess to sit, I waited for 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge my presence...did not happen. Walked out at minute 8.

I spent $10 on papaya salad, thinking it would be the delicious spicy sweat producing thai dish I was used to, and instead it was some subpar american whitewashed salad that tasted sweet. Couldve got a better salad at a drive through. To add insult to injury I was charged $5 for STICKY RICE after not being able to find it on the menu. All in all i paid $15.83 before the tip for an american salad and some rice (not living up to thai culture). Never coming back to this disappointment again.

Best Thai food in Keller!!!

Food was incredible!!! Had dumplings and soup, orange chicken was the best I have ever had! It was full of flavor and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The shrimp pad Thai was amazing too. Only thing I didn't like was the green curry, wasn't full of flavor like I was hoping but will definitely be back.

For the people saying this isnt authentic, I'm going to go ahead and assume you have been used to eating americanized thai food. I have known the owner of this restaurant for almost 10 years. He is a thai man and has owned restaurants in the states and in Thailand. The cooks only speak Thai. These recipes come straight from Thailand. The reason one of these reviews says the staff are locals is because, yes, two the waitresses are; waitstaff, not cooks.

Now the downfall is wait times during rush hour because it is a family owned small establishment. It's worth it, though.

We ordered two Drunken Noodle dishes and a Calamari appetizer for pickup. The Calamari was fishy smelling and oily, the Drunken Noodle dishes apparently were prepared by someone who has no experience cooking Asian food. The beef was tough and the onions were under cooked, the texture overwhelmed the flavor.

This meal cost $45.00 with tip, we would have been better off with a $2.00 box of Hamburger Helper!

Food was tasty, beautifully presented on plate with spiraling carrots and beets. Fresh flowers on table. Had a a true cuisine flare. Food portions were decent. Prices were high to average for portions but you paid for presentation. Customer service was not great. She wasn't helpful with questions, told us to read the menu. Older lady wasn't thrilled to speak to us nor listen for questions. But she never let us go thirsty!!! She got better as we stayed longer. Food took a long time to come and kitchen timing was off, people waited for their meal while others got cold waiting. But flavors are delicious 😋 We plan to return.

Best Thai food in the area. I really love their papaya salad. We got to try their Three Flavored fish and Shrimp Pad Thai.

We've really enjoyed Golden Thai many times -- the meals are consistently delicious and freshly prepared, with generous portions that aren't too large. We used them frequently during COVID, as they offer both take-out and Ubereats. Enjoy!

The food was just ok, lots of rice not a lot of meat, big portions but lack of great flavor. I rather eat less but good flavor, is not a buffet. I would stay way from the fry rice dishes.

The massaman chicken curry (spice level medium) was fantastic. The medium spice level was perfect for me, just enough to heat up my mouth, but not overpower the flavor. Definitely recommend!

I called the restaurant the woman stated I apologize I read the ticket incorrectly and gave you kid portions instead of the entree I ordered an paid for. I waited to write this post because I wanted to see if she would actually follow thru and issue the refund and only charge me for kid portions that she gave me. I will never order from here again

The food at this place is excellent and it's reasonably priced.

I've had a number of different dishes here, and they've all been good. My favorite is probably Orange chicken, and 2nd is garlic Stir fried beef.

The restaurant is very clean, and they take all the precautions that are customary in today's time period

Most of the ladies at work here are very kind and will assist you in selecting a dish if you don't understand how to order Thai food.

I highly recommend this place and suggest that you stop in, you will not be disappointed.

We used to be a regular customer of golden Thai and used to order once every week at minimum. Since past 3 months, the quality has not been upto the mark and we have to think multiple times before we can decide if we want to order from golden Thai or not. We ordered today to give them another chance and we were again disappointed with the overall experience. The spice level of basil fried rice was not appropriate and was made super spicy. Stir fried basil leaf had less quantity of white rice. The kids order of chicken fried rice had huge tomatoes. Also, we called them to report this issue and they hung up first time and just said we will call back second time. This place used to be our go-to place for every week and weekend and now we have to give several rounds of thoughts if we want to order from here or not. Really disappointed on how the experience has changed in the last few months.

Awesome! My newest favorite place in Keller/Southlake. Stopped in on a whim, and seriously, before I had finished my meal I was already planning my next visit!

Started off with steamed potstickers which were fresh, juicy and perfectly seasoned. I had the panny curry with shrimp, Thai hot (highest heat rating on menu, though the chef has one of his own that’s a notch above that) and the heat was perfect, not so hot on the tongue or throat but spicy enough to just barely make my nose slightly sniffle. The only thing I’d change would be slightly fewer bell peppers in the dish, but that’s just me - no too fond of them to begin with. No problem - I just pushed a few aside.

My wife had the Tom Kha soup with chicken, what a marriage of flavors this is! We literally scraped the bowls clean. Topped it off with homemade coconut ice cream and sticky rice. Portions were perfect, but next time I’ll get just a little bit more rice with my curry. (It’s served on the side so you’re in control of how much goes in the bowl). I’ll be back!

If you love Thai food, do not go to this place! Its not authentic. I walked in and they very nice people but they are not from Thailand. They are locals. Don’t waste your money!

Stopped here for lunch today. I had a egg rolls and orange chicken. The egg rolls were huge and very good. The orange chicken also was very good. Large Nugget like chicken pieces with a great bread, plenty of sauce, rice and veggies. Very good service. It was not real busy, but that was probably because of COVID. $18 total as i split with friend his meal as well. $36 for two with ice teas and appetizer + entree.

If you're buying, buy from small businesses during this hard time. Stumbled upon this place and ordered the massaman curry. It was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Tried this for the first time tonight. It is a definite YES! The food is so flavorful. And they deliver!!!!
