Authentic Thai flavors in Htown. Street to Kitchen is an absolute gem in Houston, serving up some of the most flavorful and authentic Thai dishes I’ve ever had. The ingredients are fresh, the spice levels are perfect, and every dish is crafted with passion by Chef Benchawan Jabthong Painter. The Thai native also won a James Beard award for Best Chef Texas ( 2023) plus a 2025 Michelin Bib Gourmand.

Some must-try dishes: the Garlic Chive Pancake is Chef G's hometown favorite. The Pancakes are crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside and packed with flavor. The Khao Soi is rich and comforting. And the Massaman Lamb Shank is fall-off-the-bone tender with a perfect balance of spices. The Krapow Beef is bold and fragrant with authentic thai basil grown in Texas! The Wagyu Strip Steak with Sticky Rice Bark is inspired by Luling, TX brisket and is a next-level experience that you won’t find anywhere else.

Chef G's husband Graham Painter oversees the wine and craft cocktails that are sure to complement your meal.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more memorable. If you’re looking for real Thai food made with love, this is the place to go. I can’t wait to return!

I went in knowing that Thai food by nature is very spicy (hot) but even asking for the mild versions of the dishes we ordered, some of the dishes were just uncomfortably hot.

Diner Review №5

The restaurant is surprisingly modern and good low key noise and moderately busy. Bar was dead when we went around 7pm on Tuesday night. The cocktails and apps were great. I don’t feel like the noodle dishes are what I normally get at Thai restaurants but the flavors were really good and not overpowering. Love the cashew chicken dish. It’s a must. I recommend and would definitely go again.

Diner Review №6

their stubbornness to not make any adjustments to their dishes - at all - is simply annoying. the options for pad thai were tofo or shrimp. we asked for it without any protein and they wouldn't allow it. so there's an option for this or that but not any at all? make it make sense.

Diner Review №7

be warned the food is thai spicy! their mild is like a regular medium, so if you’re not a fan of spicy food, there are only certain items on the menu you can order. they don’t modify any of their items. you also order everything at once

the bar tender, who was also our server, was wonderful. he was knowledgeable on the food and gave recommendations. if you’re looking for an interesting not-too-sweet dessert, their coconut shallot ice cream is totally different.

I’d recommend making a reservation beforehand. we walked in and luckily were seated quickly, but the place was packed

My wife and I had a spectacular dinner here for our anniversary. We're big fans of several Thai restaurants around town and thought we knew what to expect here, but we were wrong. The food is simply a step above other offerings in town. Spice levels were perfect and the flavors, textures and presentation of each dish were fantastic. We highly recommend the garlic chive pancakes and the pad se ew. The frozen Thai tea and the old fashioned were great as well.

Diner Review №9

The place is very small, the decoration is not Thai traditional restaurant or Thai theme at all, more into a western style. We

ordered Tom yum, Pad Thai = it was very sweet, appetizer pork

satay and the pork was under cooked!?!??! Its peanut sauce is off! Larb Moo SALTY, we asked the waiter for extra lemon or lime to adjust the taste, he went into the kitchen to ask the chef, he came out and said the chef refused to give us any extra lemon > kill the taste of his dishes?|?|?! Wow!!! Sorry, but this restaurant is a thumbs down! We even told the staff/ our waiter that we traveled to Thailand many times at least 20 times and spend at least 2 months each time we visited for Songkran/ Thailand' New year in April. I do not know how this place got a Michelin review, but we were very very disappointed. FYI/ BTW: my son in law is Thai, we do know a lot about Thai' cuisine and culture.

Diner Review №10

I’ve been to this place before, and it’s insane how much things have changed since they received their James Beard review. What was once a humble, family-friendly food truck turned restaurant has now completely lost touch with its customers. It’s shocking how they’ve become so exclusive, turning people away and acting like their recognition gives them the right to ignore the very customers who supported them from the start. The service is horrible, and they’ve completely abandoned the welcoming vibe they used to have. It’s disappointing to see a place that used to be a go-to spot for great food become so unapproachable. Definitely not the same place I remember, and certainly not family-friendly anymore.

Amazing restaurant. We went there for my wife's birthday and had a wonderful experience. Elphie was extremely helpful with our dish selection and we ended up talking to him about Engineering school and world travel. Best of luck to him. The end of the night was highlighted with a great conversation with Graham, the owner of the restaurant. What an awesome cool and knowledgeable gentleman about Thai cuisine. This restaurant and it's chef owners are an asset to our wonderful city and the reason we go out to eat. Bravo!

This is the most authentic Thai food i have ever eaten outside of Thailand. No frills, no substitutes, just Thai street food the way it is done in Thailand.

I was really excited to try this place but have to say that the experience was not the best. To begin with it took the server around 30 min to greet us and when he finally did, he rushed us to order not only appetizers but main meal saying that the kitchen prefers it that way, but that the meal will be spaced out and in order. Then ask if we wanted drinks for the bar when we didn't even have water at the table or a drink menu.

When the food came out, they brought it all at once. We had to pack one to go right away because there was no room at the table. Then!! we finally have waters and a while later my partner gets his drink from the bar.

After dinner we ordered cocktails which took like 30-45 min to get to the table. I ordered one with gin with lemongrass (which I usually enjoy) but the citrus flavors were very overwhelming. When I asked if I could change it for a Martini or just take it out of the bill, the server said that because they are a mom and pops place they can't do that and the ingredients they pick are so high quality they can't take away food that you order that you don't like? To what I said ...it's nto food it's a drink. The manager proceeds to bring a shot of a creamy super sweet licor to apologize for me not liking the drink. Why? Now I have two drinks I don't like at the table.

The food was tasty but orde mild and go from there. I like spicy food but this place was so spicy it killed my appetite. They put more tables in the room than they should have, it felt like we were sharing a table of four with the couple next to us and for a mom and pops place, it's not really pampering or comforting. At the end we were there for 2 1/2 hrs and most of that time was either long waits on the server or rushed to eat the food fast.

Really great experience. I heard about the place on the Houston Chronicle Top 100 restaurants and decided to give it a try.

The food was excellent! (Corn fritters and chicken dish as appetizers and the fish curry for the main course.. Thai tea to drink).

The service was also excellent. Very attentive wait staff!

I will absolutely go here again!

Diner Review №26

Came weekday as a dinner walk-in

Food: we ordered three dishes and the flavors were awesome! The pad see ew was super tasty with great wok-fired flavor. The crispy pork belly was mostly fat with great texture contrast between the super crispy exterior and gelatinous fat and sticky rice. The cashew chicken was spicy even at just mild level. The chicken was lightly breaded but the meat part was super slim. Value-wise the we felt full (mostly reeling from the spice) after the three dishes but they were on the smaller side, especially given that it’s supposed to be family style.

Service: our server Aaron was nice and attentive throughout dinner. Not sure why there were quite a few other servers / busboys walking around.

Atmosphere: We were seated in the private dining area, which was dark with neon lights and Thai rap music. I would’ve preferred the main dining area with better lighting and the pretty bar.

I’ve gone twice and I’ve yet to get a dish I didn’t enjoy. It’s traditional so be prepared for some spice. ‘Medium’ actually means ‘pretty damn hot’ at most places. I’d recommend getting a variety of dishes and asking for a blend of spice and not spicy. The frozen cocktails are nice too

Diner Review №30

Extremely disappointed with the hospitality & service of this restaurant. Definitely will never come here again. Managers have no sense of hospitality as someone who works in the restaurant industry I was extremely baffled by how my fiancée and I were treated. I got food poisoning & stomach aches from eating their food. My fiancée got sick & there was no accommodation or common curiosity for their guests let alone us being new guests. Extremely shocked that i experienced more “southern hospitality” up in the northern states than I did at this restaurant. Fellow Google readers, trust do not come here! This restaurant DOES NOT put their guests first & because of this it extremely impacts the experience & product of their food

Diner Review №31

Wonderful. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and works well as a team. They were also helpful in with allergies and getting my young daughters some non-spicy options. I appreciate that the team allows their authentic personalities to shine through rather than the scripted, robotic service that is all too common. Great flavor and spice on all of the dishes. Great music. Thanks Oscar and team.

What a gem! This restaurant represents the best of all of Thailand with dishes from both the North and South. I found the Thai spicy to be actually spicy and more importantly, very well balanced. After Thai Gourmet closes, I tried a number of Thai places and always left disappointed. Street to Kitchen does not disappoint!

Diner Review №36

Extremely good food with very cool ambiance. Best pad see ew I’ve ever had. Way better frozen marg than a Thai place should have!

Chef G cooks like no other... Unapologetically Authentic Thai + traditional recipes /modern twists. One of the best martini moments when I ordered the Nolets dry gin Martini and it came with a brilliant pairing bite! This is traditional Thai made to perfection!

The food was amazing that I truly want to go back. The one thing that discourages me to do so is the hospitality. To sum things up, the host gave better service than our server. My husband and I showed up at 9:45pm and we asked the host what time did they close. He said 10:30 but he assured us that we were fine and that they sit the last guest at 10:30pm (closing time). Our server Sarah took a while to come to our table and when she did we could barely understand what she was saying like she was rushing her words. My husband and I love to order through out dinner because it gives us time to enjoy each dish and clear our table instead of over crowding our table. When I asked our server if our first two dishes were on the way she said that everything had to be ordered at once and she was holding on to it. So we waited another 15 min. Meaning nothing was ever fired. So we went ahead and submitted more food, but the whole night felt rushed. We waisted 25-30min waiting for our server and food to be fired. What really annoyed me was I told her we wanted to add to our order later then she said oh yea we can add more to it at a later time. Anyway, what really took the cake was when we were eating dessert. I had a spoon in my mouth trying to enjoy this delicious plate of mango sticky rice and she decided to put the check on the table and said whenever we are ready. Guys! My husband and I love to order food, that really made me feel like we were being rushed out of the restaurant. My husband and I had dessert at The House of Pies later that night to end date night and our server there was 10xxx better. I'd rather have given him the big ol tip (15% of our check )we left our first server.

update: i went back recently and was disappointed. the food didn’t taste the same as when i first went at the og location. not sure if i would go back.

hands down the best thai spot in houston! the chef herself is from thailand and everything that she makes is 100% authentic and made in house. the depth of flavor in each dish is amazing and it will leave you speechless after every bite. i would definitely recommend the beef pak kee mao, mango sticky rice, green curry, and papaya salad. portions are slightly small. also, if you don’t have a high spice tolerance, you may need to down some thai tea bc some of the dishes are actually really spicy. restaurant is small and can get pretty busy so i would call in advanced and make a reservation. they also charge a 22% service fee at the end. overall, i would definitely come back to try their other dishes!

Diner Review №42

Mind blowing thai food as always from chef. If you like spice and incredible, creative flavor combinations this place is a must. The wagyu strip and whole branzino were perfectly done.

Diner Review №44

Food was good but most of the portion are kids sizes. Thai spicy is ass burning spicy 😂 overall, our experience was great. Will definitely bring a bigger group next time so we can just order the whole menu.

Diner Review №45

I recently visited Street to Kitchen, a Thai restaurant in Houston, and it completely blew me away. The food was nothing short of outstanding—easily some of the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had! The flavors were bold and authentic, and the spice levels were perfectly calibrated to my taste. One thing to keep in mind is that the food can be quite spicy, so it’s important to communicate your preference clearly. Thankfully, the waitress was incredibly helpful and thorough in explaining the spice levels, ensuring everything was exactly how we wanted it.

The service was just as remarkable as the food—attentive, friendly, and efficient. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service shine equally, but Street to Kitchen nailed it. This was truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Houston. If you’re a fan of Thai food (or just great food in general), do yourself a favor and visit Street to Kitchen. You won’t be disappointed!

Nut allergy warnings: The Som Tam (Peanut), Massaman Curry Tofu (Cashew), and Pad Thai (Peanut) should be avoided. Everything we had was fine and the servers are very considerate if warned.

StK is located in a shared building with several possible entrances. We got here at noon on a Thursday afternoon and there was reasonable space, no reservation needed. I got street parking but there are plenty of options. Learned that they opened overflow seating recently that may be converted to a tasting menu concept next year, so that sounds cool!

Order - to - Food: 7 Minutes (Lunch Special) - 16 Minutes (Noodle Dishes)

For three people, we ordered:
-Lunch Combination (Garlic Soy Veggies 4.5/5, Green Curry Chicken 5/5, Laab Pork 4.5/5): Just large enough for three people to have a few bites each. A very effective way to taste a little of everything on the menu! It's a bit pricey but very filling. The garlic soy veggies come with a good sauce and texture with the crispy garlic. I wish they had more bok choy (only 2-3pc) but it's great with the rice. The Green Curry Chicken was very well balanced in protein and vegetables and thick enough to scoop with rice, and very satisfying with light spices. The Laab Pork comes with cucumber slices that are an ideal combined bite and are a great palette refresh with the lime flavor. I wish they'd give a few more cucumber pieces because that does feel like the best way to eat it.
-Pork Pad See Ew (5/5): We dumped in the dried chili and Serrano juice and went to town. Amazing noodle texture. Great balance between pork and vegetables here too.
-Drunken Noodles (4.5/5): Also fantastic noodle texture, chewy yet soft. I would say there's a hint too much basil and it could use a bit more chicken, but I'd definitely order it again.
-Frozen Thai Tea Toki-Yo (5/5): Wow, this was an awesome frozen cocktail. They nailed the milkiness of the Thai Tea while adding a solid punch with the Toki whiskey. Recommend as a palette cleanser dessert.

Overall, I would say it's deserving of the Bib Gourmand, though a bit on the pricier side ($55ish for my lunch combo+drink). Definitely will be back! (with some tissues for the spice giving me a runny nose)

The waiter should really mention the only non-spicy items on the menu, just in case. We got something mild and it was crazy hot, which I loved, but the other person with me could not eat. Everything was delicious…just spicy spicy 🌶️ Can’t wait to go back.

Diner Review №52

I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time and my only regret is not coming sooner. The food is absolutely delicious, the staff was incredibly attentive, friendly and the service was prompt. Unfortunately I was in a bit of a rush so I only had the opportunity to try a few things, but I would recommend them all.

The drunken noodles are amazing! They’re served with chicken as the protein and offered in 3 spice options: mild, medium and Thai hot. I ordered the medium because it sounded like a safe bet but was much spicier than anticipated. Luckily for me I love spice, but I would proceed with caution for anyone that doesn’t and maybe just stick to mild if you’re not used to spice. Be sure to add the sauce to the noodles, it takes the flavor over the top!

The chive pancakes are a must! Perfectly fried, with a nice contrast of sweet and savory flavors. So much flavor in a small dish. You cannot leave without trying these.

The Thai tea is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. They do a good job of not making the tea too sweet but also doesn’t leave you wanting more. My only wish is that the glasses were bigger, but I digress.

I can’t wait to go back and I must say for anyone wanting to try this place, don’t waste anymore time.

Diner Review №53

i loved our server who was amazing to talk to, and the food was so delicious with really unique flavors. my friends and i felt so comfortable here. i cant wait to get the green curry again and the mango sticky rice was perfect and authentic.

Best Thai food in Houston! Hands down.

Diner Review №55

Great Ambiance, Terrible Service!
The ambiance at Street to Kitchen was fantastic. However, the experience was completely ruined by the incredibly spicy dish. The spice level was not communicated clearly, and the dish was virtually inedible. When I informed the staff, their response was lackluster, with little to no effort to offer a replacement or alternative. It's disappointing that such a great atmosphere is paired with such poor service and lack of customer care.

Diner Review №58

Street to Kitchen is one of the best Thai Restaurants I have been to. The vibe is hot and undeniably Thai. Hot is in reference to the spice and the team as well as the menu warns you they do not skimp on spice. If you are not into spice make sure to speak up and ask for the least spicy dish or options. The food has an amazing array of tastes. The owner’s husband walks around and explains how some dishes interact differently and the legend behind them. One dish behaves differently over rice than not over rice. Legend has it, Thai food kept them from being invaded by colonizers.

Diner Review №59

Es war einfach nur fantastisch! Beginnend mir dem Service, bis zum Hauptgericht und das Dessert! Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Diner Review №60

This place is amazing!! Had a couple of friends take me to the original location before it closed down, so I had to come back and check the new one out (I've been several times).
First off, the owners (Chef G and husband Graham) are awesome!! Graham runs the front of the house and is a sommelier (so there's that), and Chef G runs the kitchen. Her "unapologetically Thai" recipes are exactly what you want!!
I will say, the spice level is good how it comes! Only do "Grandma spicy" if you want to hurt (still excellent flavor though).
Don't be in a rush, enjoy your meal!

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

I always order the same thing and I decided to get a different spice level the ‘thai spicy’ in which I’ve had in the past. The spice was good but protein part seemed to be more seeds than the protein in itself. I would stick to the medium if you don’t want an overkill of seeds.

I still love this place!

Diner Review №63

A restaurant has the right to be what it wants to be, and this one wants to be bold, spicy, flavorful, artful, and unapologetic. And I love it for all of these qualities.

The last time I was here, I ordered the cashew chicken, and it brought tears to my eyes because it reminded me of a dish I used to eat as a child (albeit less spicy) that I hadn't had in about 35 years. The flavors punch--and combine exquisitely. The chef artfully uses texture, color, and flavor to surprise & delight.

I love extremely spicy food, and I eat medium here just in case. My husband and friends have struggled through mild dishes (the drunken noodles are spicier, I've found, than other dishes). But they know what they're getting into coming here and appreciate the experience because the food is just so good.

I wish people would read reviews before they come and understand that mild=spicy; if spicy is not your thing, Street to Kitchen is not for you. You can wish it could be, the same way I wish I want to eat unusual meats. I know who I am and what I like, and I like chefs who create dishes that help people access feelings of comfort and nostalgia, through dishes that simultaneously challenge spice and flavor boundaries.

I think it's a good habit to observe what a restaurant is about and adjust your expectations accordingly. That seems to be an issue for many people writing reviews of Street to Kitchen.

Absolutely fantastic food, service, and atmosphere! The people here are so friendly and the food is nothing short of perfection

Diner Review №67

So I came here for dinner with my wife and 4 other friends. The hostess was very nice and seated us promptly.

The reason I am giving 4 stars is because the waiters repeatedly stated all dishes cannot be modified one bit. We had a table that did have a fair amount of dietary restrictions and the restaurant was not accommodating to modify any dishes that were not vegetarian to begin with.

In addition, we had to order the apps and mains at the same time which is fine. But the mains did not come out all at once. Waitress told us chef recommends to eat as they come out so the dishes don’t get cold. All we wanted to do was start eating together, felt awkward and rude to begin when not everyone had their dish. On top of that the staff forgot to give 2 dishes that we ordered!

I ordered the Massaman curry lamb shank. I thought the shank was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful! However the rest of the dish was okay. It has peanuts in it which I just don’t like but I could not modify it since they don’t make ANY changes.

My wife had the beef Khao Soi. This is her go to dish at every Thai place. She was excited to try a different take on it with the beef cheeks meat. Although meat was cooked to perfection, the dish’s flavors felt unbalanced and overtopped with crispy fried noodle and not enough curry. Felt very lost while eating it.

Also the corn fritters were INSANELY spicey, we were not warned.

Dishes we liked: Tom yum soup was excellent and the chives pancake were pretty good.

I think I expected more from this place due to all the hype and reviews. The overall experience was good but there are better tasting Thai spots in Houston.

It was an honor to visit a Michelin-starred restaurant and enjoy dishes prepared by a James Beard Award-winning chef. As a master chef just starting out and working to establish a name for myself, I found the experience both inspiring and educational. I’ve been striving to understand the tastes and preferences of the Houston community, and this visit provided valuable insight. The overall service, particularly from the bartenders, was excellent. I would rate the experience a solid 9 out of 10 and look forward to returning.

Diner Review №70

The food was exquisite, they aren’t afraid of heat. You’re paying higher dollar for an eating experience worth the flavor.

Diner Review №71

I have been to this place 3 times now, and each time it has been an interesting experience.
First time: I call to order take-out, no one answers for 20 mins. I show up at the restaurant thinking the phone is not working. I walk in and they tell me "no take outs". Didn't make any concessions when I explained that I had been calling for 20 mins and no one answered the phone.
Second time, 9 mos later, we make a reservation for 2. Food was good but most dishes were spicy. However I had the green curry and that blew my mind. Everything else - some good, some average, some very spicy. I had their innovative dessert- coconut ice cream with black cavier- a total disaster. I was excited to try because I just had a similar dessert at a 2 star Michelin restaurant. Bravo for the attempt... but missed the mark by a wide margin.
Third time: heard they take online take-out orders. Invited friends and tried ordering online for 30 mins. Total failure again. Called them but no help. They answered the phone, this time, but said that they can't take phone because they are too busy.
I showed up to order. Couldnt order some items that were available online. Also had to delay my gathering.

Moral of the story. Food is spicy, better than average, but horrible customer service.

Diner Review №72

Excellent vegan and vegetarian options. Everything is incredibly flavorful. Top notch service and relaxing atmosphere.

Diner Review №73

Old review (posting now since the Michelin guide that just came out, reminded me of the time we dined here). We went when Street to kitchen was in a tiny restaurant/diner in a gas station (based on some recent photographs, it looks like they may have moved to a nicer place).
We got the green curry with tofu, green curry with chicken and panang curry. All three came with sticky rice. The green curry had excellent flavour. The panang curry tasted nothing like panang curry at any other Thai restaurant - it was very very meaty in flavor. The owner was super nice, spoke with us and shared his background (and supposedly the meaty panang is authentic compared to the more generic palatable versions you might get at other restaurants). The mango with sticky rice was a great simple dessert.
Congrats to Street to Kitchen on getting a Michelin Bib Gourmand!

Diner Review №74

First time at Street to Kitchen. My wife and I made the hour drive from Montgomery County and it was worth it. Unable to get a reservation, we walked in around 5:15pm on Friday and sat at the bar. Was kindly and patiently educated about the menu and what to expect about the heat levels by Thomas and I believe John. I recommend you try MILD heat unless you have a high tolerance for spice at least for your first visit. Food was amazing. Small restaurant so be cautious if you don't reserve ahead of time. Overall highly recommend. Spent about 100.00 for two of us which included two appetizers, two dinner items and two cocktails (not including tip). Look forward to coming back.

Hand down the most romantic place for dinner. The food was exceptional; it was “hot”, but not cover up spicy, true authentic flavors.

The service was spot on and we found parking extremely easy.

Picked up a few things togo and they were all fire. Im definitely dining in next time. The team was very helpful and friendly.

I had the most amazing meal shared with my partner and nephew. We had pad thai with shrimp, green curry and fried rice. Everything from service to cocktail were off the chart excellent. It's funny. Someone suggested it but I really didn't know what a treat I was in for! Really nice decor too. And James Beard award winner! I had no idea! Well they earned it!!!

Diner Review №79

Wow. Best Thai food since Houston lost the beloved Kanomwan . And they are nicer (Americanized) about telling their customers no 🤣.
Krapow was amazing. Garlic chive pancake was amazing. Drunken noodles were amazing.
Woke up craving the food. I haven’t had that feeling since Kanomwan closed.
Service was great. Our waitperson, Miranda, was lovely!
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Diner Review №80

The food lived up to the hype. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations.

Diner Review №81

First impression: Cute but overhyped with 4+ stars and ridiculously particular. I ordered an alcoholic beverage because whew, the level of restriction is stressing me out. I'm highly skeptical about places who don't keep the customer experience in mind regarding the food.

No extra sauces with the dishes, no modifications...this better be good for the prices charged.

Verdict: Most of the food was food. I had the lunch combination of the kai lookhuey, chicken massaman, and the garlic chicken. Everything was good but the garlic chicken was a bit salty. HiSo drink was really good and calmed my nerves.

I really wish they would do modifications. I really wanted the shrimp pad Thai, however they would not take out the beans sprouts.

Would I come back? I live in Pearland so definitely not making any special trip. It would be consideration if I was in the area. Honestly, if I can find a comparable menu then probably not.

Note: I wonder what happens when people are allergic to things like nuts they can't get their dish without cashews or peanuts mixed? This lends me to believe that it's not about "flavor profile" and more about kitchen logistics..

Best, Thai food ever with supreme service must visit

Diner Review №83

It's too dark to see your food. Had to use a cell phone to illuminate the plate. Portions were small, no appetizer menu, Pad see ewe was good but a bit bland & had to ask for salt.

It was a decent experience overall but far from outstanding, as I was expecting after all the local hype. We are going to stick with our preferred thai restaurants in West Houston and Pasadena.

I worked and lived in a Thai restaurant for over a year, and I doubt that there is Thai food as superlative as this anywhere else in the world. The chef will not accept substitutions for ingredients or spice levels, and should not. This is fine dining. Her husband touches each table, vastly improving the already incredible service. Eat here. Food was great! Staff was very accommodating and helpful since I had a baby and a stroller. Staff was very nice. Had the Bangkok 75 which was good but what was my favorite part of my meal was the Tom yum soup and mango stick rice.

Diner Review №94

Had no idea what I was walking in to for lunch today. Amazing food, knowledgeable server that made the meal tailored to our tastes and the place is just a cool vibe. Will go back!

Diner Review №95

Delicious and so very satisfying!!! So flavorful and rich! I had some of the famous meatballs and corn fritters for appetizers and had the red curry 🍛- so delightful with the pineapple, shrimp and cauliflower in it - very pleased with the service and atmosphere is very relaxed. Definitely worth a try! I love spicy food so for me it was perfect!!! Just use caution w the spice 😊

Diner Review №96

This place is way overrated and way overpriced.
Who cares if the food is marketed well when it's only marginally better than a place down the street that charges far less?
Not a hard choice to me.

- It's very very unfortunate to see the quality of food deteriorating significantly! We have been going here for the last few years and our recent 3 visits have been unpleasant only because of the food. All we get is super hott and spicy dishes where we cannot enjoy any other flavors. Of course the service and ambience is very good but we go here for Chef G's delicious food and Graham's hospitality and it's missing all of it now!

This is by far the best Thai food I have ever had. I love Thai food and I have had it at many well known places but I am a fan of this restaurant. It's a cozy place at a gas station, they do not have huge space to accommodate a lot of guests. Reservation recommended. The servers and Managers are very kind and helpful and they make sure that they explain everything to you.
We tried their Chives pancakes - they were unusually awesome, the taste and consistency was so different, we enjoyed every bit of it.
The Drunken noodles were the best. 100% recommended. You can adjust spice levels.

The chef adds her own "magic" to it and it worth a try.
We got the traditional Red curry with chicken. It comes with a side of white rice. It was delicious. The spices blended very well with the veggies and chicken.
Overall it my best Thai experience. Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu.

This was the best Thai food I've ever had. The flavors of all the dishes were next level. It's spicy but does not burn your face off. Esteban was amazing. You can tell that the staff were all happy to be there. Thank you for an amazing experience. The highball whisky drink was so refreshing.

LOVE this place. I travel to Houston multiple times per month, and I consider my trip a failure if I don’t make it to STK.
I love everything about it. The food is outstanding. Full of flavor. Spicy where it should be. The staff knows the menu like they should and can make excellent recommendations for those who can’t eat anything like I can.
Every dish is spot on, but I literally CRAVE the garlic green beans!

We absolutely loved our experience for the first time here tonight. Our waitress Jackie was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable. So intriguing. She knew how to steer us in the right direction on what to choose. She was a delight. The food was amazing. So many flavors. And the drinks were on point. Jackie really knew how to pair everything perfectly.

Overall the food and restaurant are very good. Only reason it's not 5/5 is due to inflexibility to adjust spice on some dishes and to make any changes.

This restaurant offers authentic Thai food with a creative fusion twist. The food was outstanding, with the spice level being true to Thai standards—bold and fiery. Dishes like the Tom Yum Kong and the Omelette were perfectly executed, delivering classic flavors with a touch of innovation.

Diner Review №113

Food was not worth it for the price. Pretty average Thai food that can be found at normal Thai restaurants, just better plating and cutleries, I guess. The restaurant is reserve only. I booked a low table but was shown a high table, so that defeats the purpose of stating it online. There was one dish on the summer menu, I forgot the name, with the coconut curry and noodles, the meat was smushy with a lot of fat. Ew. The dumpling side was basically a siew mai and tasted like average siew mais. Go for the atmosphere and nothing else.

This restaurant is not for the weak. If you do not likely spicy food, find another place. They have levels of spiciness. Mild, medium and spicy. My husband loves spicy food and this surpassed the spiciness for him but he was glad to have experienced it. I ordered mild and my food was still spicy with the exception of the shrimp pad thai (which was good by the way). The location was fine, parking may be an issue as there are other businesses in the building. The bathroom is outside the restaurant, meaning in the building but not in the restaurant itself which is expected from these type of business set ups. The only negative I have to say is that we made a reservation for 2 and last minute our daughter wanted to go and we could not get a person on the phone or add her to the reservation. When we arrived, the place was empty as they had just opened. We assumed it would get full of people since it was a Friday evening and we only saw maybe 2 or 3 other tables full. I would say, answer the phone and allow modifications to reservations. The service staff was very attentive, the atmosphere was nice and I would return with a box of Kleenex for sure.

My first time was 2 weeks before they moved to the new location. I was a bit nervous of them moving because usually the food changes/quailty, service, atmosphere, etc. and that was not the case here. The food, service, and atmosphere are great. These dishes are authentically Thai. I will say your server is your best friend - tell them things you’re interested in and ask about them. They will be able to guide you through everything to make sure you are getting things you’ll like to try. A great example of this is another commenter said they were from SE Asia and the papaya salad was so spicy it wasn’t edible - it shouldn’t be like that. There are non-spicy versions and every region and every country (even every family) has their own variations. When I went to Thailand in the past, every region I went to the papaya salad had a minimum of 3 bird’s eye chilis per serving. That’s why I suggest working with your server to guide you through the menu. Highly recommend this place!

I was excited to finally be able to try this place since it’s highly rated. We walked in around 12:30pm on a Friday and the place was pretty empty, score I thought! We walked in from the back and had us walk to the front by the reception stand and wait to get seated. She asked if we had reservations, and I said no. She looked around the seating area like she didn’t know if she could seat us at that time when the place only had a group and a couple eating, which I thought was really odd. Although our waiter was attentive and friendly once he got to us. He explained the menu and how the items are set and unable to substitute any meat especially the curry. The menu itself was pretty unique, and I like that it’s not extensive.

We ordered the papaya salad, tom yum with mushroom, red curry pumpkin with veggie (ironically, this was the item we wanted to try with chicken but they run out of pumpkin so they substituted it with something else), pad thai with shrimp, and mango sticky rice.

Surprisingly, the red curry was delicious even without the pumpkin. All the other items were
pretty much mediocre, nothing special. But we did enjoy the mango sticky rice with coconut cream and coconut whip, we loved it!

Our waiter did explain, which we appreciate, that there’s already a service charge included so tip is optional.

This is more like a one and done experience, won’t need to go back.

I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Jackie, for making our night unforgettable!

Overpriced meals that you can find with comparable quality and flavor at other Houston Thai spots. The service is subpar and the servers are so full of themselves acting as if they work for the best restaurant in the world (and then they have the audacity to ask for more tip on top of their mandatory 22% service surcharge LOL). I wouldn’t go back or recommend it to anyone.

Diner Review №136

What can I say about a James Beard award winning Thai chef that operates out of a space that was formerly a fried chicken chain extension of a gas station? I think it might be the best Thai food I have ever eaten.

Atmosphere: The tiny space has patrons sitting elbow to elbow, and yet everyone seems happy and friendly because the food is just so good. The space was clean, the decor was charming, and considering what the space was... you kind of forget you are practically in a gas station. They did well with what they have. We were informed that they will be relocating to a much anticipated new location in November 2023. It was brought to our attention that Chef Painter built some of the furniture we were sitting on!

Service: Top notch. Our waiter/s were very attentive, informative, and friendly.

Food: We had the limited lunch menu and ordered: massaman curry (temp. replacement for green curry), stir fried basil beef, drunken noodles, and an off menu item appetizer of "pork sticks." All the food was amazing, but the massaman curry borders on being a transcendental culinary experience. The delicious curry was very complex with floral notes, a rich but light creaminess, and a perfect balance of heat. A symphony of flavor in each bite.

We will certainly be coming back, and I look forward to seeing the new location.

Diner Review №137

First and second time here, tried the Yum Kai Dao both times, still very tasty dish with the different flavors. First time, tried the Pad Thai which had a nice consistency and was flavorful although a bit too sweet for me; and not what I really remember the flavor profile being when I tried Pad Thai in Thailand. Went back just last night and wanted to try different noodle dishes but unfortunately they were out of Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles :( But we did end up trying the crispy pork belly, which was our favorite dish of the night! So tender on the inside but nice and crispy on the outside. We also tried the Lao-style papaya salad, which definitely had a nice kick to it, and we tried the shrimp fried rice, which was flavorful even without the sauce on the side. I ordered the Old Fashioned again, which was just as good as I remembered the first time, and we ended the night with the taro cake, which was not overly sweet and tasted great with the coconut infused whipped cream on the side.

Overall, I feel like both times the wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and explaining dishes, but I do feel like the flavors are a bit on the heavy side. I get the description on the website literally states that nothing is watered down and everything is hand-made; but for instance, any dish that is supposed to have fish sauce in it, you can definitely tell that there's fish sauce in it and it gets quite heavy once it's able to sit for awhile, like the papaya salad for example. I just don't remember flavors being this intense when we dined in Thailand, but perhaps we did not visit the region Chef G is from. Would definitely recommend for anyone to at least try this place once though, it's a nice little hidden gem.

Walk in ask me to go to sit at the bar by myself and ask me to go to get menu by myself.
Ordered just one dish - pad Thai , took them 25 mins, the restaurant is even not half full.
Also asking for 22% service fee and plus tips !?
Please review yourself what’s so special about your restaurant?
The food just ordinary, nothing special, same as all other Thai restaurant.
Your food, location, service, all of that are not that stand out to ask for 22% service fee.

Edit: if you can’t commit to that many tables that maybe you should consider size down

Diner Review №143

Some of the best Thai food I have had. The menu changes a bit each day, depending on the chef's preference.. like the pumpkin in the red curry might be a different veggie.

There are dishes with low and blazing spiciness, but they have a sweet drink (forgot the name) that tames the heat. Some dishes you can choose the level of spice. Take some tissue with you because your nose will be running if you get the hotter dishes.

We tried about 6-7 different dishes, and everything was great, but I did have some favorites that I will go back for.

All the curries are great, but I loved the green curry the best for a balance of taste and heat. The Pad See Ew was exceptional as well. My favorite was the sticky pork belly with sticky rice..and do not forget to save room for the Mango Sticky rice; it is to die for.

I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu! Be sure to make a reservation as far in advance as you can (especially on weekends) as they are always full.

Wow. Amazing service, very good and very spicy. A truly spectacular meal.

Diner Review №145

Incredibly unethical pricing model. 22% hidden fee. If you cannot succeed when being honest about your prices, then your business does not deserve to exist.

Diner Review №146

Nice place and cute. You can go with your couple or your friends! Nice flavors and the cook is perfect. Just be careful with the level of the spice! Haha we ordered green curry and medium spicy but delicious, then a pad see ew and drunken noodles chicken.

Diner Review №148

Self-described as unapologetically authentic, the owner-operators value Thai flavors > American palate, and that's a great thing.

We had the curry corn fritters, Massaman curry, drunken noodles, krakow beef, and garlic soy vegetables. I would recommend everything except for the vegetables. They were fine, but everything else was outstanding. This is hands down some of the best curry in the city. Be careful with the spice, mild is hot! The cocktails were delicious, too, and the service was impeccable.

Diner Review №152

Definitely need to go and eat here, everything is delicious

Diner Review №153

Really great spot for Thai food.
We got the Massaman curry, pork stick, drunken noodles, and mango sticky rice. All were made with fresh ingredients and were incredibly good based on having tons of other Thai food in the city. I would say that the flavors and the craft behind these dishes is unique.

The curry was definitely spicy as a lot of other reviews say, but if you are used to Thai food it is by no means overpowering at all. In fact, I would consider it to be an enjoyable level of spice.

The pork sticks were the appetizer and those were out of this world. Never had that dish before and they were great.

Drunken noodles were just incredibly fresh. Clearly handmade noodles with a spicy vinegar pepper sauce on the side that added a unique flavor to the noodles.

Mango sticky rice was so yummy. That’s one of my favorite dishes so I am biased, but this was one of the best servings of this delicious dessert I have had anywhere.

Would definitely come back.

I wish they had let the neighborhood know they moved. The evening started off very stressful since we drove the the location where their sign is still displayed to Harrisburg. Very anxiety inducing experience to have the threat of charges for our reservation to suddenly find out we don't know where the restaurant is. The new location doesn't have a sign and was difficult to find. The new location is an ultra modern chamber of hard surfaces and loud noises. I wouldn't of booked the table at all if I had known the new location was so hostile. Our server wasn't super welcoming he asked if anyone had allergies and I declared my allergies and he had no recommendations for me based on that and was hostile for the rest of the service. This is a really invasive and unnecessary question to ask if no assistance is going to be offered. We were assured everything was still served family style, but dishes weren't served family style. I really like the food here, but the service and the dining room are extremely unpleasant. I also do not like them trying to reinvent the wheel with gratuity. Nobody likes to tip. They don't seem to like it either. I don't know why the customer needs to be involved in this. I think the servers should just get a fair wage and guest shouldn't have to worry about it or just use the excuse of market forces to continue traditional tipping practices. Doing a 3rd thing is just a burden for everyone involved.

Server didn't know the menu well and recommended 2 ultra spicy dishes after we specifically asked for the "least spicy" item on the menu. (Mostly all their dishes are very spicy according to him) . We returned both plates and ordered again.

Maybe the only negative of this restaurant is that I was not a fan of the location. Otherwise great food, amazing people, superb service. Everyone is seriously interesting and amazing. The one thing to be VERY CAREFUL... ordering any curry dish above mild spicy will be very dangerous for your gut. Bartender and staff are very knowledgeable so ask them to pair drinks with the food and you will have a spectacular night. Try the frozen thai tea, dangerous!!! Finish the night with the mango sticky rice with the scotch old fashion (cannot remember the name).

Why is the tiger cry $95? That’s more than fine dining steak restaurants. Place is overpriced just to be overpriced. $38 for khao soi what the? Green curry had about 2 pieces of chicken in it. Flavor is good but it literally tastes like every other Thai place we’ve been to, cheap and expensive places.

Also an automatic 22% service charge on top of tip. This place was probably good before they moved and sold their souls. Now it’s super gentrified and over hyped. Much better bang for buck options that actually taste good.

Also $30 cancellation fee for reservation. Fine dining restaurants don’t even do that. Whack

This place is a taste explosion! Without a doubt, this is the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. Our waitress, Jaqueline, was extremely helpful in describing and suggesting various dishes. Every dish we had was fantastic: Thai sticks apetizer, green curry chicken, and drunken noodles with chicken. The frozen Thai tea (drink with Japanese whiskey) was superb; it was worth returning for, by itself. The mango with sticky rice was the best example of that lucious Thai desert that I have ever had. (Many thanks to Chris Shepherd for featuring this place on his show.) It is a dark, but nice atmosphere inside; a nice break from the blinding white concrete of Houston in the summer. Best wishes to Chef Benchawan and her husband for continued success in the future.

Food is great. Little spicy side. Even mild was very spicy, and i normally love eating spicy food. Host was great. Over all, the food was great.

The waiter was not attentive, but they just moved so we were ok with it

When the bill came, only thing we saw was
15%, 20%, 25%

So we clicked 20% without thinking

Then it showed the total, and felt a bit too much, so we asked for the receipt

The restaurant charges 22% tip automatically even for a table with 2 customers

Then it was asking me to tip another 20%

So it is not total of 22+20%=42%
Total x 22% then on top of that another 20% which becomes almost 46.4%

46.4% tip was too much especially for non attentive service

When i ask the waiter
He says 22%gets divided between everyone including kitchen crews

And he told me
He thought he told me it was extra additional tip
Which he didnt

It was great food and atmosphere
But i didnt have to feel
Bad asking for unnecessary questions …

Wish they were clear from the beginnings

Ahh- l’ve been going there for years. I had lunch in China International district today. No fun. Top rated restaurant- no fun. I worked in the district for years- West Houston International district. I tried pretty much most restaurants around there. Keep the best food going on there at Street to Kitchen. I cannot comment really more but there was an amazing Malaysian place there- (International's district ) but they come and go. Today’s experience was no better than great dog food for my cherished Boston. He eats anything that I might eat. Thai hot not so much for dog- but that prized Vietnamese place was simply not so good. Don’t want to belittle them but say hey- Street to Kitchen has really the best Thai food anywhere. Tom Yum- the best! I’ll definitely go back to Street to Kitchen. Amazing food! I must preface my review by saying I come from a culture where I am accustomed to lots of spice heat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks and LOVE heat and spice. This restaurant is not for those who do not appreciate heat. Moving on…
If I could give this restaurant team seven stars, I would. I could feel the love coming from the unique and complex flavor combinations of each dish. To start, my family and I were greeted by a charismatic and knowledgeable server who offered my son to surprise him with his main course. We ordered the special pork tamarind meatballs to start. The pairing of the crispy-on-the-outside pork with the cilantro and tamarind sauce; I’ve never had tamarind and cilantro together that way. I was blown away. And that was just the first bite! The massaman curry was a bouquet of delicate, yet bold flavors. I can honestly say it is the best curry I’ve had in my life. My son had pad see ew with the yummiest pork; finished it all! The side of green beans was garnished with mint - again, blown away. Never would I think to pair mint and green beans, but that is one unforgettable dish! To end the meal, we had to get the iconic mango sticky rice, and I have to say, this restaurant has its own unique take on it, complete with a very special coconut whipped cream. Overall, this was one of my top 5 dining experiences ever, the world over. Thank you Jaqueline, chefs, and the entire team tonight!

Diner Review №172

I don't get the hype. It's tasty but I really don't understand why it won an award and why it's supposedly authentic. Having lived in Thailand, I just don't see it.

Also, when you walk in the doors and it's a bunch of white folk sipping on wine in a supposedly authentic Thai restaurant, it's an immediate red flag.

Then again, personal opinion of one. Now published on the www.

Diner Review №174

I ordered a mild papaya salad and crispy pork belly with sticky rice. The papaya salad came out extremely spicy and was not edible. So I politely let the waiter/ bartender know that this was not mild. You can see all the red hot chili pepper in there. He said that is how Thai people eat their salad. He looks nothing like a Thai person by the way. I didn’t see a single Thai or Asian employee at the bar where I sat. Mind you, I grew up in Southeast Asia. This is not how Thai people eat their food. He then told me to order a Thai tea to calm the spices instead of offering to correct the dish. I was shocked. But I was trying not to let myself upset or angry by his disrespectful demeanor. And then, they brought out the pork belly and the sticky rice in a plastic bag. The sticky rice was so steamy hot that it was literally melting the plastic bag. They told me not to take the sticky rice out of the melting plastic bag. The rice was already way too overcooked and hardened. It was not edible. I used a fork, spoon, chopsticks and my fingers to separate the rice but I wasn’t able to because the rice was already solidified in the plastic bag. I told the same waiter/bartender again that I couldn’t eat their food. No solution was provided. He just asked if I would like a box to take these inedible dishes with me. No, I did not want a box. He handed me a check with the 22% service fee already added although I did not receive any service from anyone at this disgusting restaurant. Later on, he said any additional tip is appreciated. No, you don’t get to steal additional money from me without providing service or edible food. Their restaurant’s motto is “unapologetically Thai & bougie.” I was humiliated again and again by the bartender’s unapologetic comments and ignorant demeanor. The motto is just a disgrace to real Thai food and Thai people. I did not feel bougie at all at this restaurant. I felt robbed, humiliated, and disrespected by a group of greedy non-Thai people.

Diner Review №175

Warning: their mild is spicy. Also, before you make a judgement about authenticity and quality of the food based on the atmosphere - the food is indeed legit and worth going out there for. In my opinion, the food is excellent and comes as close to a Michelin 1-star as it can get. I just don't think the environment matches as it feels a little "too cool" with hip-hop playing in background and Audrey Hepburn posters hanging on the wall. It's a drive to get there but I would definitely go back to try other menu items.

Our first time here at the new location. Bigger space, chill, and welcoming atmosphere, same great food. The flavors and ingredients used create an amazing meal. The highlight of this visit is the mango and sticky rice dessert.

Great dining experience! Loved the authenticity of all of the foods and each item was full of flavor. I also love that they don’t skimp on the spice truly feels like you are getting anauthentic Thai experience.

Diner Review №179

Bring the heat!

I want to give a clear and honest review so let me preface this by saying I love spicy. The first time I had the green curry, I had it as takeout and couldn’t be more impressed so came in to sit down and try everything else in person.

These dishes are so flavorful and despite the high heat levels, I was still able to enjoy my meals on multiple occasions.

I will say if you don’t do spicy THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU. The mild variations of every dish are already very (authentically) spicy. There’s a lot of people here “claiming” to have been to Thailand and that the food is too spicy etc. But this is my personal disclaimer to all my foodies who love spice, to come try this place out because you will enjoy most if not all they have to offer. Just make sure to order a Thai tea just in case.

Everyone complaining about the 22% automatic gratuity are ironically the same people telling employees in this industry to “find another job” or suggest the restaurant pay their employees better IN THE SAME REVIEW. Ridiculous. These people have clearly never worked a day in their life, much less in the service industry. Now I will add that the service is absolutely nothing to rave about but I got what I needed from my server. I got suggestions, my food was delivered in a timely manner and I was able to have a conversation with my date without being hounded after every bite. As a former server these people definitely doing their job and are being compensated accordingly.

Most importantly, to the back of house you guys are incredible. The presentation is amazing and chefs I am so glad that yal are able to bring these incredible flavors to this side of town.

Can’t wait to come back.

It was not easy to find the main entrance but the food was really good. Highly recommended.

Had really high expectations for this restaurant. It's clearly popular and for good reason. On my last two visits to Houston, reservations were not available. So we were really excited to try it this trip as we were able to reserve a table.

The pad see ew was absolutely spectacular. Taste was spot on. Visually it was perfect. I could eat that dish again and again. The soup we had was good but just too spicy. I like spicy food and i get the concept of That Thai Mild (that's still spicy). The table next to us had to stop eating because the food was too spicy. I found the soup far too spicy to fully enjoy. Chef, please consider a less spicy option than your Thai Mild.

Service was good, but i really didn't like the story about waiters and how the tips work. 22% automatic service should cover the tip. Sorry. Restaurant owner, Raise the food prices if it doesn't and pay your people more.

Food is always amazing and crazy spicy good.
Servers are hit or miss. Dude with the bicycle cap is the best. Person taking calls on the phone is terrible.
We loved the vibe and hominess of the original location, but new one is okay too - just satisfied a wider crowd.

A marketing scam. The award was definitely paid for.A 22% mandatory service fee was a crime.Calling themselves chefs without any basics culinary skills.
Try too hard to claim as difference.Try too hard to act like food was special.
Unapologetic bulllllshiiit.

I am so glad that I was able to eat at this restaurant. My sister and I had amazing customer service. AJ did a great job providing us with information about what was on the menus for both food and drinks. He was very informative and creative. The food and drinks were AMAZING!!! We will definitely come back. Thank you.

Amazing Thai food. Been to all the best Thai in Houston and been to Thailand several times. This food is off the chain. Also prices are super reasonable. Thank you for the excellent service. 🙏 khap koon kah! 🙇‍♂️🥭🍚

Fun spot with spicy food. Everything was tasty and delightful. Trying the curry next time.

Diner Review №192

This was my first time here and the food is really good and the spice of it is like real and it’s sweet at the same time I would come here again. :)

Always a wonderful experience. Consistently great both food and cocktails. The drunken noodles are worth the trip. I really enjoyed the Tom Yum soup as well on this trip. Service was attentive and helpful in navigating the menu and heat levels.

Diner Review №194

Went for dinner, food was really good but FYI they automatically add 22% to your bill for “fair wages and all that”. Like I said food and service was good but I have a problem with an automatic fair wage gratuity. Burry it in the cost of your food. I wouldn’t go buy a car and be ok with a, by the way we’re going to charge you 22% more than the stated price.

I love this place BUT. It's one of the best Thai places in town and I tried many. The only reason I'm leaving a review though is to complain about the time to prepare food. To the kitchen staff and leadership, get your act together. 50 mins to get drunken noodles? I understand this place is all about sharing. But we got our 5 dishes over 1 hour and 15 mins. If you can't handle a volume of customers either add staff, or reduce your restaurant size. Ridiculous

Vegan options - Excellent 😁 I was kinda worried about finding something I like due to the no substitutions policy. But waiter was very knowledgeable, provided 8 or so options catered to our desired spice level

Massaman curry was incrediblyyyy flavorful and I will be dreaming about it

Pad ka prao was good, veggies cooked really well, but portion (only 7 tofu cubes) was a bit small to fully savor family-style

Fun, colorful ambiance that’s nice enough for a date night. Friendly service. Reservation late policy is strict, so come early in case you get blocked by one of the neighborhood’s infamous freight trains

Diner Review №198

Top-notch service, food and drinks. I'm definitely coming back to sample their "Tai spicy" and beyond. It is small and intimate, reservations are required.

Diner Review №199

Went here for a friend’s birthday. The ambience was great! Lights dimmed, chill music and unique decor. Large variety to choose from but beware of the spice! We got everything mild but it was still kinda spicy! Everything was flavorful and delicious.
