Came for a delicious Thai dinner and I got it. The place is small but it has a good amount of seating, they sat me quick and took orders fast. The place is cute and comfortable. The dinnerware they use is beautiful, I loved it. The food came out super fast and everything was delicious and fresh with lots of flavors. The servers were nice and thorough. Under new management, Pinot Thai in the Energy Corridor of West Houston has truly become a hidden gem for Thai cuisine enthusiasts. Nikki, our attentive server, took exceptional care of us, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a casual and aesthetically pleasing setting.

For the Thursday lunch special, I opted for the Penang curry with chicken. Served with a delightful egg roll, rice, salad, and soup, this meal was an incredible deal. The curry was rich and aromatic, perfectly balanced in flavors, and not overwhelmingly spicy, just as I had requested.

My companion chose the drunken noodles, a dish that was beautifully executed with exquisite flavors. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with a harmonious blend of spices that made each bite a delight.

To top off our meal, we indulged in the seasonal sticky rice with mango. The combination of the sweet, ripe mango and the sticky rice was the perfect ending to our delicious meal.

Overall, Pinot Thai is a must-visit for anyone in the Energy Corridor seeking authentic Thai flavors, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance.

Wonderful place! The decor is lovely. Chandeliers, pretty china, beautiful food presentation. Perfect atmosphere for a lovely disconnect after work or spot to meet friends for a long lunch. Staff is mature, courteous, first rate.

I love this restaurant! The Pineapple Red Curry with Chicken is my favorite curry anywhere and I get cravings for it almost weekly. The appetizers are delicious and so is the Pad Thai. The service is great and this place is a hidden gem!

Will never return here. Tast is not good anyway.

I ordered hot tea and was charged $3 for a second cup. I find that penny pinching to the extreme. My favorite curried dishes lack the flavor as before. So I am looking for a new Thai restaurant.

They are a very stingy restaurant and will up charge you for the most smallest .5 ounce sauce for a dollar!! They don’t listen to your food order instructions and will mess up your order. When you try to complain about their mess ups, they will have an attitude with you instead of apologizing. They don’t accept any modifications to their dishes and if you ask to replace onions with tomatoes, well, guess what, they won’t or charge you an extra dollar to do so. I question the quality and integrity of the ingredients they use. They are very strict and rude. A complete joke and a scam of a restaurant.

Showed up at 2:30 and the first thing the server told me is that if I was picking up and ask for menus. Told me they close at 3pm and, I said ok, then I ask him for lunch menu and told me that the lunch was over and will not be able to serve me. Never coming back

I was a regular to this restaurant and used to love it. Recently the lunch size has reduced so much it won't be sufficient even with the one spring roll and soup they serve. When asked about their quantity, server informed this is due to inflation but they could increase the price instead of serving insufficient food. Can't complain about the taste though. If you decide to go here, choose dinner portions.

Restaurant was very clean, service was great no complaints at all. Started with the crispy dumplings they were awesome nice and crispy, filling was flavorful and the sauce was perfect. I also had the Basil and hot pepper with chicken (level 3 spicy) wasn't very spicy for me probably could have done a 4. Flavor was excellent hit all the right notes for me definitely would have again and again. Wife had the grilled squid which was also amazing with some great dipping sauces. All in all 10/10 check this place out immediately.

Warnings!!! Caution!! to folks with little kids not to go eat at Pinto Thai.

Today, 7/30/23, my wife and I stopped to eat lunch with my 4 year daughter, while we were waiting for our order my daughter was playing with few sugar packets under our supervision, and one of the wait stuff (not even our waiter) grabbed the package from my daughter's hands rudely which tremendously scared my daughter and told my daughter she can't play with those packages even more rudely. I had the option of calling the police to arrest the waiter for doing such act to a 4 year old child that but I stayed calm, comforted my daughter and decided to walk away and not eat there.

I definitely would not recommend anyone going there with small kids.

This place is WAY superior to the award winning Thai place across town. They won the Beard Award but the food was quite disappointing. The food from Pinto was delightful across the board. I got 5 things and liked all five. They get my award!

Pinto thai is one of my thai restaurant go to place. I’m so skeptical about thai food because I’m Thai but here is different. They serve food just like you are in Thailand with great and beautiful presentation. Food and service is 10/10. Every dishes we ordered were fantastic.

Definitely one of the best thai places on this side of Houston. I've never had a bad meal. I've eaten most of the lunch menu and a few curries and it's all always been hot, fresh and tastes amazing. I think the spice level is on the lower end (ex: hot is a little chill for my taste) but that's all preference. Prices are good. I love the lunch menu as I love trying their different soups. Good service as the place is small and the waiters are attentive.

Not sure why people like this place, food quality is not great. I understand it’s important to support local businesses but the quality needs to be improved.

We ordered a lunch special tofu pad kee mao with spring roll, soup of the day, and coleslaw. We also ordered a chicken panang curry.

The soup was a cold vegetable soup. The spring roll and coleslaw were fine. The pad kee mao was far too eggy, and lacked spice even though I got level 3 spicy. But at least all of this was passable, and I appreciated the charred thick wide rice noodles.

The panang curry was the worst offender, because it tasted like a salty chicken soup! It tasted like they cooked the chicken in the curry, dumped chicken soup into it, or used canned chicken. It tasted nothing like thai curry is supposed to, and I had to throw it away.

If you enjoy this place, that’s good for you, but I wouldn’t recommend it for new customers.

I orderd 8pc chicken wing for takeout by Yelp. But they serve me only 6pc for 8pc price. And they said it was not responsibility on themself, but thirdparty. Of course no apology. Finally I called Yelp and got refund. She middle age woman's behavior made me so disappointed.

I placed an order on Pinto Thai’s website today, the order was confirmed and a confirmation email was sent to me. I chose the “pay at store” option box. Then come to find out when I came to pick up my order the price was higher than what I placed the order for. I explained to the cashier that the price I placed an order for was lower, and the cashier’s response was “oh I don’t know what to tell you, I don’t set the price.” She then starts to make reference to our interaction in Thai with her manager and starts laughing as if my disappointment with this was a joke to her.

Came here twice to pick up food to go during the COVID-19 global lockdown. Finally dined in with a friend and the experience was exceptional. The food is always fresh and is authentic, especially for someone who’s visited Thailand and has had true Thai food. The customer service is outstanding, too. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in the area.

So glad to find a local Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. We ordered the Tom Yum, Green Curry with shrimp, and black paper grilled chicken. The soup was my favorite! Everything was so fresh and seasoned just right. The waitress was working by herself and the service was still exceptional. I will be going back!
