Relaxed venue serving classic regional Southern Thai cuisine in a vibrant atmosphere.
Was in the area and wanted to find something to eat for lunch, this place seemed like a must try. Everything about this small little Thai place is great! Was really shocked how everything on the menu looked exactly like the actual food or drink after ordering! Very satisfied and can’t wait to be in the area again to have lunch! Price is perfect too for the amount of food served!
I often eat here with my friends and co-workers. The food is priced right. The restaurant's atmosphere I'd say is cosy and pretty quiet. There are many different menu options so there's always a chance you'll find something you'd want to eat. I've been going to this place for about 8 years now and I've never left this place dissatisfied.
I recently placed an order on the 14th for three people, and unfortunately, none of us were happy with the dishes we received. Our order included red curry with chicken, red curry with seafood, stir-fried mixed seafood, and fried egg rolls.
Starting with the egg rolls, they were far too greasy compared to other Thai restaurants we typically frequent. The red curry, which we usually enjoy and finish entirely, had an odd taste this time that made it unappetizing. Additionally, the curries came with a shared tray of rice instead of individual portions, which was inconvenient. Without any extra plates or cutlery provided, we had to use the lid of the rice tray as a makeshift plate to divide it amongst ourselves.
The stir-fried mixed seafood was bland and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, no complimentary condiments like soy sauce or hot sauce were included, which could have helped improve the experience.
Overall, the meal was disappointing. None of us enjoyed or finished our food, and we won’t be returning.
Great place to have delicious Thai Food in Dallas. We tried to taste the Thai food so found out the best place. As it's COVID situation, the restaurant has taken safety measures of their customers and running 50% occupancy. We ordered Mango Sticky rice and Chicken Samosa, the best place to have it and also we ordered for Basic veg Fried rice, Chicken appetizers, Siracha Chichen Fried rice. All we had is the best time and best food at the best place.
Went here for lunch after my birthday shenanigans, I really enjoyed the food and service! I was surprised to see it not busy during the time we ate there, but I want to rave about this place! The front of house staff member was so kind and always had a smile on his face. The food was absolutely delicious! I got the pad see ew with tofu, and my boyfriend got the pineapple fried rice. We finished off with the mango sticky rice, the ambience was very pleasant. 10/10 will go here again the next time I’m in Dallas! :)
Pad Thai and other dishes are a bit too sweet. Food is okay but could be so much better with less sugar.
Everything was great except for the Thai Samosas. They were dry & hard.
Crab Rangoon was amazing. All of our dinners were forgettable. They also add the tip in as a service fee of 20%. Look for it on your bill.
I like the food here. My aunt is thai so I can be picky with my thai food, but this place has good dishes.
The services were always top-notch and yummy foods as well!
Great food and great service! Will definitely go back!

Never disappointed with any of my orders and recommend Phad Thai any way all the sides and appetizers are great
Great tea and loved thai herbal chicken
Grea great food
Curry is awesome
I cannot stress this enough. Do not order any entre with beef in it. They do not tenderize the beef and you cannot chew it. It is absolutely the worst I ever been. I asked the waiter if the entre had some spice to it, he confirmed it did. There was no spice at l. I should have know when I walked on a Saturday evening and there wasn't one customer in the restaurant.
10/10
We had chicken satay, pad kee mow, crab fried rice. Everything was delicious and our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable about food. We will definitely be back!!!
I normally do red curry and drunken noodle from thai places. Didn't really care for either of those here. However, the pad thai is the dish to get here. It is great.
Avoid the garlic quail. I’ll come back but would order something else. The whole plate had about as much edible meat as maybe two chicken wings.
Service is always good and the food is great.
Ginger Thai is the best Thai restaurant in Dallas in my opinion...& I've gone to several! :) Pad Thai & Tom Kha were amazing! Thank you Ginger Thai!
Friendly service, reasonably priced, decent flavor, will be back.
The food was absolutely wonderful but the service wasn’t good. He actually didn’t get my order right and when I went back to let the lady know she wouldn’t do anything about it. She said I have to wait for him to get there and he wasn’t first time actually eating there but the food was good so I’ll be back, but definitely check your food before you leave.
some of the best pineapple fried rice I have ever had. it’s perfect if you get it a little spicy. also the best thai tea I have had and the thai herbal chicken is delicious. a great hidden gem restaurant.
My friend and I meet in the middle and eat here once a month. Always a 5 star experience. Song is always there, to greet us and provide excellent service! The food is always fresh, hot, delicious and promptly delivered. My favorite is the Thai ginger stir fry. Today I tried the coconut soup. It is my new favorite! Atmosphere is quiet and allows great conversations! Would highly recommend.
The Tom yum soup is so flavorful! Love this place
Go the order completely wrong we asked for mild spicy and the mad it very hot, we asked for no potato's in the curry and they mad it mostly with potato's.
Our two curry dishes were tasty and hot. Service was very fast at noon on a Saturday. The interior looks nice and the price was reasonable, $28 for both, including tax. Large portion sizes. Good location at Forest Lane and Marsh Lane.
The only negative was that the sauce was a little watery. We have eaten Thai food for 30 years and this was above average.
Food was AMAZING. We will most defiantly be back..!
This is my go to place for lunch when I'm at work! so good and the service is awesome. Haven't dined in yet but love the food and have become a regular now!
The meal was good. I choose 4 on spice, and could have gone with 5...I like spicy. The highlight was the fried banana with coconut ice cream!!!
Best crab cream cheese 🫶🏻🤭 I love the pad Thai as well !
I was actually craving their food today. I had to stop by.
Staff was very friendly from the moment walking in. The food was made just as ordered and was very flavorful.
First time here, and everything was awesome. Such a cute little restaurant with fun music playing. The Tom Yum soup came in a huge bowl and was full of lemongrass, Galanga, mushroom and more. Definitely will be back!
Great food, great service, great value. Highly recommend.
Crab Fried Rice and Crab Noodle is imitation Crab. Not worth it. It says crab on the Menu.
It’s a place we ordered our office dinner from.
Food was tasty, ingredients fresh and packing precise.
Great for your go-to Thai cravings!
The massaman was so fresh! I already loved the dish, but I had no idea what it could be like when not cooked to death.
Best Thai I’ve had in a long while I’ve been here twice and they’ve never disappointed me. This last visit blew me away from the lovely lady that greeted me soon as I walked in to the hot sizzling fresh food. I could just take a nap afterwards. I haven’t this level of hospitality and satisfaction in a while I’m a regular for life now. Thank you I will see you again.
Easily the best Thai food in our area. The chicken satay was amazing. We also had the crab fried rice and the pad thai, which were also great. I can't wait to come back and try more of their stuff.
This is our favorite neighborhood spot. Our college student asks for it every time they are home
Excellent Thai food! The perfect amount of heat. Great service, too. The only downside was the music playlist was too short. It seemed like I heard the same song multiple times.
Ordered online, that was the only thing that is bad, it goes thru Uber eats so there are surcharges you don't know about. I ordered to pick up not for delivery, so it was confusing. Staff told me next time to just call them directly. Aside from that I have ordered out from here several times and the food is always excellent with tons of flavor. The crab Rangoon appetizers were some of the best I have had for sure!!
Informal neighborhood restaurant with consistently good food.
Coming here is a wonderful calming experience, away from the hectic world. The food is hits the soul in such a healing way, you will want to make arrangements to come back. Best of all, the prices are very fair for what you get.
Perfect experience. Went for lunch for the first time and couldn't be happier. The food tastes great and the service was on point. Good prices too. I will definitely be back.
Gem and hole in the wall. Entry is even inconspicuous but the restaurant is neat inside. Small but nice. The food is good if they season it right every time. My plate was good but my sister’s plates food had no flavor.
The thai was good.
Was in the area and wanted to find something to eat for lunch, this place seemed like a must try. Everything about this small little Thai place is great! Every single thing is good the owner is the best in the world and she learned from Thailand and no frozen food and just eat it every time u can not expensive but very good very good service and very fast not first time and definitely won’t be the last I’ve been eating for the past 10 years and every time I ate it it got better and better if you have time go eat and check this place out I know you will like it I have way more good things to say but I’m getting a little tired with my thumbs
Cool little spot, food was good and the staff was friendly
Been here a good amount of times and food has always been great, love ordering the fresh spring rolls
This is the best Thai food I ever had!
Try Pad see eew and massaman curry was delicious 😋
Update for June 1st 2023. Our son and his fiancee were visiting and they didn't arrive until after 9pm. Since they came from California their body clocks were two hours earlier than Dallas time so they were definitely ready for dinner. We have always been able to count on Ginger Thai and this was no exception. Phone order was easy and accurate. Spring rolls, Papaya salads, 3 different versions of Pad Thai and Pad Won Soo with shrimp were all excellent. So glad we decided to order from Thai Ginger again. The evening meal was excellent!
Sooo yummy! This was the first Thai place I’ve ever been, and I cannot wait to go back. It’s a bit far but it’s worth the drive!
Oh lord, food is just amazing !!!
Food was delicious! Small place with friendly hosts and waitresses. Prices were very reasonable. They have papaya salad here! It’s hard to find that in some restaurants
Went here for lunch after my birthday shenanigans, I really enjoyed the food and service! I was surprised to see it not busy during the time we ate there, but I want to rave about this place! Upon walking in I was asked who I was picking up food for. I was actually here to dine in… Then after being told to sit anywhere, I told the server that I wanted something with duck, he offered roasted duck with jasmine rice. I literally got little pieces of duck chopped up in a ton of veggies. I had to dig and find the duck in the dish. Then without asking me if I wanted anything else he brought me the check. I won’t be back… this whole experience was comical.
On the search for better Thai spots within a 5 mile radius on a lazy Saturday evening and came across this place with pretty good rating over the other couple Thai places in its immediate surroundings. We were surprisingly impressed! Service was fast and friendly even for dine in. First off, even if your plate doesn’t come with peanut sauce PLEASE get some on the side, you won’t regret it! Ours came with the order of summer rolls but we loved it so much we asked for more and added it to the rest of our dishes as well AND took some to go! It’s runnier than other places but so dang good!
Aside from that we had fried rice, and drunken noodles with grilled tilapia which was a special request no one is ever willing to do. Ginger said yes to the fish no problem and it was seared wonderfully!! Unfortunately the new cook forgot to add our spice level but once we made the server aware she brought us out a tray with different spices and we were able to spice up our plates and soups to our liking. Overall while it’s not magically special, it was very fresh & tasty and not greasy in comparison to most Thai places and also very reasonably priced. For some reason this place never comes up in our searches for deliver through 3rd party apps yet they have stickers advertising the services on their door. We loved this place and love that it’s a quick 5 minute drive from home. It’s conveniently located in a shopping center on a busy intersection so very easy to get to and plenty of parking. We will definitely dine here again
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2023.
We are now regulars! We can call ahead and they’ll have our meals served upon arrival. What more can you ask! They got a backdrop too so the fiancé and I can take a half decent selfie! We love ginger Thai!!
Ordered Drunken Noodles, Thai Styled samosas, and a Thai Matcha Latte for 24$. Really clean place, with excellent service, and great seasoning! Very tasteful
This place is amazing. Some of the best Thai food I have eaten. We had great spring rolls and Thai chicken wings for starters. The wings were seriously delicious. For main course it was the best chicken pad Thai I have had in many years. The mansanna curry was very good as well. Staff was friendly. I highly recommend this place to any Thai food lover. I was told this place has a BYOB policy to boot so one more good thing.
Great!!!!
I made reservations for this place and when I entered and ask for a table of 2, I was asked by the server if I had made a reservation and given my name. There were quite a few spots present so we were able to be seated quickly. We ordered Edamame, Pad Prik Khing, and Spicy Basil Fried Rice (not pictured). The employee who served the food and the server came by multiple times to check on how the food was, refill our glasses, and if we needed anything. That was very well appreciated.
When the edamame was served, I noticed that the bowl was steaming which made me wonder if this had been frozen prior and the dish was just microwaved. I could tell that they were also lightly salted. The Pad Prik Khing was delicious. I asked for a spice level of 4, and the curry went along great with the rice. A few pieces of the chicken may have been over cooked. This was my first time getting this curry as I usually go for red or panang curry at Thai restaurants, and it turned out quite well. My date enjoyed her Spicy Basil Fried Rice as well.
I had a good time, and recommend you check this place out!
Food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing and people were amazing :) def would go again!!
Quiet and clean. Tasty food
Seasame chicken here is amazing but the last couple times Ive have it here the sauce has been super runny and the chicken was very soggy.
Just the right amount of spice! Pad Thai and Red Curry was great as well as the service. Good organization!
The food was ok. Thought I will try it for a change as I have tasted multiple other Thai locations.
The price was reasonable and the food was ok. I went during lunch and the place was practically empty.
Seemed like it was outdated and on a small strip mall.
The gentleman that finalized my purchase for the to go order seemed nice.
Probably won’t go there again.
Very delicious Tom Kha soup, best I've had yet. Massaman curry also great and plentiful. Tiny location hides an excellent restaurant!
Great pad thai
First time was Great! Food had good flavor.
First time Pad Thai was not too sweet (that was great for me) and Tom kha was just perfect. We dinned in. Service was ok.
We ordered tonight carry out over the phone and it was bad. I asked for hot sauce and the lady wanted to charge a dollar.
Short story: We got home and food did not look good, food was insipid. We ended throwing it away. I do not think I'll be back in spite of the fact first time was ok and proximity with my house.
Good place, very quite and relaxing atmosphere. I had the sesame chicken, it’s one of the best I’ve had. The sauce had good balance, not to sweet and overpowering just right with the exact amount of flavor. My compliments to the Chef. Service was great and plenty of parking on this shopping strip. Ever in Dallas on Forest stop by.
We had lunch here and the food was really bad. Had a strange aftertaste too. We ordered Penang curry and pad si ew. Both were bad and not cheap either. Disappointed ☹️.
Deeelicious!!! I forgot to take a pic of my food but it was amazing!!!!
One of good thai place, price is reasonable.
For rice dishes it’s little bland but overall good and satisfied.
Little greasy. Meat quantity was less. Also basil fried rice had basil on the side. No sause was kept but in website it says some sauce is given.
They used to make my favorite pad Thai. But the last visit the pad Thai was bad. I wanted to give them another chance But it was even worse today. Very little flavor
I'm in love with a crab fried rice the flavor is really delicious 🤤 definitely worth the wait
Muy rica la comida y buen servicio 👌
Great place, great service, and even better food 🤪
Great food and friendly staff.
Amazing food and service!
Best herbal Thai chicken!!! Love this place!
By far, the best Thai I have had in Dallas.
I was excited to try this because it had high ratings. While the food was not that great, the guy at the cash register was nice. I ordered the crab fried rice and added shrimp. The rice was excessively oily and didn't have much flavor. I typically don't feel the need to use soy sauce as things are usually seasoned well, but I used a whole packet and wished I had more. Also the "crab" used was imitation stick crab and the shrimp were bland.
Make staff member offered us meat choice along w our entree. I asked if it was extra charge and he clearly stated it came along with it at no charge. I was going to get tofu or chicken,, but when he said this I decided to get beef. When our bill came we were charged for beef. I’ve then told him what he had said and he was very rude and pretty much told us not to return to his restaurant which I never will. I have never been treated so poorly by a staff member at any restaurant especially one that was Thai where the people are so kind. I would suggest Bangkok Dee which has never been rude and has way better food and service.
Food is delicious, my first time will be back!
Ate here while visiting Dallas and had my first experience with Thai food and I loved it! Super delicious.
This place is over priced and want to charge you extra for hot sauce... there are better Thai then this junk.
Pretty disappointed with this place. Tried it for the first time Friday night; ordered 2 pad thai with shrimp, 2 fried crab apps, & a papaya salad. The spice was on point, and everything was nice and fresh. It was delicious. Came back Sunday night (albeit right before close) and ordered the exact thing. Everything was fresh, but absolutely no spice. Didn’t feel like cooking again tonight, so ordered the exact same thing again. This time, however, the pad thai was disgusting. It was dry and the shrimp was tough. It’s like this was made hours ago and reheated once we ordered. There is also absolutely no spice. I’m really sad as I thought I’d found a new Thai spot, but we’ve spent $45-60 each visit and I cannot roll the dice on my dime again. Unfortunate.
One of my favorite local restaurants. Yummy and quick
We have been going to Ginger Thai since we moved into the neighborhood a couple years ago. The food is always delicious and consistent. I highly recommend trying the Thai herbal chicken!
Best Thai food ever!!! Love this place so much and they have the best customer service!!
The food Never dissapoints. amazing service and the nicest staff! A neighborhood treasure for sure!
It wasnt too expensive and pretty good! service was decent/friendly
Wow!! I am impressed.. the quality of ingredients is superb. I opened each container and the fragrance of authentic Thai was heaven. I love Thai food, and thought I would try a new place. Lemongrass chicken and Tom Yum soup here are some of the best I have had!! I will make this my go-to Thai place!
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The thai tea is really tasty and the curry I got was phenomenal. The staff were also very attentive.
The food is pretty good. The soups were extremely salty and the staff appeared very apprehensive to help. The overall wait staff were rude and unhelpful. Their low staffing became our issue.
Some of the best Thai we've had and by far the best Mancha! Worth the drive for sure.
Always amazing!
Fast service, good prices, excellent selection of Thai dishes. This is our Go To place for Pad Thai.
Cool people. Great authentic Thai. Try it, you will be back in a few days to try another plate and won't be disappointed.
Great food...first time...wont be last!!
Really good food! 👍
Good service and great food. Byob.
Host not very friendly.
Awesome shrimp wraps and spring rolls
Staff is great and food is delicious
Love their Thai food!! Been a favorite for years to take guests arriving from Love Field to for dinner before continuing to Keller. Easy access from 635 and Love, good food, always good service! Thanks Ginger Thai!
Ginger is a hidden gem. Amazing good and excellent service. We've been coming here for almost 10 years now and food has been consistently delicious. Best Thai in DFW.
I was a regular, but not sure if the cooks have changed. The food has no flavor, I ask for spicy and most of the time they forget. I keep trying to like it and hope this time will be better but food is no longer good
Excellent staff and service
Spicy basil stir fry is a regular dinner at our house and we love the perk of contactless delivery!
This is my go to place for Thai food. Their coconut soup is the BEST!
First time in Dallas and found this little gem! I was there right before the crazy snow but it was still insanely cold. I called in an order and it was ready within 10 minutes. She set me up with all the napkins and utensils for eating in a hotel. The food was very high quality, a little spicy for Medium, but I won't order that heat again. Everything was great and if I'm in the area will definitely return.
Great place to have delicious Thai Food in Dallas. We tried to taste the Thai food so found out the best place. Well I have ordered $30 worth of food and I just asked for chili flakes and she was like while throwing me attitude that we charge for it.
Well I understand you guys charge for 1 chili flakes but no need to throw an attitude.
This place is amazing! Great staff and great food. My wife and I lived in Thailand for a year and this restaurant is the closest thing to authentic Thai we have found in Dallas. I can’t say enough about this restaurant - we absolutely love it! Can’t wait to continue being “regulars”!
The place is a small restaurant. Very clean. The food was great. Ordered Crab Noodles - stir fried thin rice noodles served with Crab meat egg, onion, stuff fried in sweet sauce. Really great tasting.
My husband ordered the Shrimp Frid rice - plenty of shrimp with snow peas. The server was very pleasant and made suggestions. It was a good experience.
Love this place
Nice warm cozy
Delicious authentic food
We decided to try this place today since we were craving authentic Thai cuisine. Unfortunately this place was a huge let down; the food was bland and not very flavorful. Sad to say, every item we tried was frankly not good (we threw out all the food after a few bites). As a person who has actually eaten Thai food in Thailand, I can say that this restaurant is not even close to being authentic. The staff are friendly, hence, the 2 star rating. Without that, this restaurant would easily be rated 0-1 stars. I wanted to like this place since it's close to my job, but I can't cosign. Save your money and try elsewhere.
I just got home and ate the food I ordered. It was the pineapple chicken entree. On the menu, it said it had tomatoes. So I asked and they confirmed they would put NO tomatoes in it. I got the food home and what did I find? Tomatoes. And not only that, it also had bell peppers, which I despise. IT IS NOT LISTED ON THE MENU. A restaurant should list ALL the main ingredients in a dish. What if I had food allergies? I drove back to Farmers Branch with this. And I was very disgusted. I won't be back....
Never answer the phone.....good food, but the order time to pickup was thirty five minutes of waiting....
