The Asian Mint Restaurant Group blends New Bangkok Thai Cuisine with a fresh Asian Fusion Menu for exquisite flavors that have won local awards in Dallas, Texas and national awards for excellence since 2004.
We keep coming back to Asian Mint mainly because of their Thai Basil fried rice. It’s unlike anything we’ve tasted at other Asian restaurants - full of flavor, spice and “umami”. I really wish they increase the quantity to a little more because we devour this in seconds and it’s never enough.
Also tried the fresh summer rolls with shrimp. Although it was good, I was a little disappointed to see that they used only 3 shrimp pieces sliced in halves and placed it over 6 rolls.
The spicy tuna crisp with seaweed salad is a 10/10
We come here at least every few months or so. We love the sushi options as well as the food. There is always plenty left over for us to take home in a box and eat later. Real nice experience - family friendly. Great place. They also have a bar - but we didn't sit over there. You can just order drinks from your table.
Asian fusion, fresh, great flavor! Lots of options to choose from. Great combination of mild to spicy dishes. Traditional Thai dishes include Pad Thai noodles, curries, stir fry, house specialties and more! Great for lunch or dinner, always love family style sharing to be able to try more dishes.
The food is consistently excellent at Asian Mint. It’s one of the few Asian restaurants my family can agree upon!
The service and the food are excellent here!
Food was great, prices are on the higher side.
Great food, friendly staff, warm atmosphere!
This is the best spot for Asian food in Dallas, try the pad tai, it is amazing. If chef Nikky is around, ask if she can make you some of her grandmother's secret recipe garlic rice (it is on the secret menu 😘), and for dessert ask for the orange cake, it is delicious.
PHA THAI noodles is too sweet than 2 years ago. Crab fried rice taste sweet and salty. Guess their chief changed.
My grandson and I enjoy the tom kha soup immensely. I always get a side of rice noodles to add to the soup. The service is always friendly and efficient.
Take time to pick up the order I recommend calling before you pick up
Always a favorite, with some great takes on Thai dishes.
My friend and I try to meet every 3 months or so to catch up in our busy schedules. This is always our Go To place. Great food and service. Great selection Never ever disappoints.
This place is EVERYTHING!! From the drinks, the atmosphere, the staff!!!! You're missing out, if you've never been!!
My daughter and I went there for lunch , everything was delicious ! It was outstanding service !
Excellent food
The food is usually good when dining in person but it’s been horrible every time we did the take out!
Great food. Try the Pad Thai Won Sen... or the green curry, both delicious..
We had Asian Mint cater for our wedding, and it was a hit! We had someone pick up the food from Dallas to travel to Fort Worth. By the time the food was laid on our chafing kits, it was time for our guests to come in for the reception. Timing worked out well and the food was still warm. Our guests really enjoyed the food: spring rolls, pad thai, house fried rice, and red curry. We got to have a variety of proteins for each dish (keeping in mind the extra protein charge, we did a variety of tofu/vegetable or chicken/vegetable with beef or shrimp). There was a lot of food left over, so people got to take trays home. The price was what we expected, and the coordination we had with Mimi over email was prompt and detailed. That made everything feel a lot more secure, especially for a wedding. We appreciate the staff coming in early to cook and pack the delicious food to make our day special!
Delicious Asian fare in a beautiful restaurant. The staff is second to none!
I ordered food through Uber Eats. I’m staying in Dallas in a hotel on business. They didn’t put any utensils in my bag so I had to go find a fork so I could eat my food. Please remember utensils and napkins for takeout/ delivery!
Been here a couple times. I usually get the sriracha chicken which is very good and has a great spice level. The last time I went I got the pad thai wings and green curry. While the wings were good I definitely do not recommend ordering the green curry, it was so sweet is was almost sickening. Service was still good and the teas are good as well
This was my first time visiting Asian Mint in Dallas. The environment was nice, and everything was going well until I found a long strand of hair in my food while cutting it up. I was shocked, especially since I had already taken a bite before noticing the hair. The owner and staff were apologetic and offered to replace the dish. Since I was on a lunch break with a colleague, I decided to order something completely different.
What surprised me was that even though the owner offered a different meal, it wasn’t free or even discounted despite the issue with my first meal. I was left wondering what would have happened if I didn’t want to order anything else—would I still have had to pay for a meal that was contaminated? This was my first experience at Asian Mint, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a pleasant one. I’m not sure if I’ll be returning.
This is my favorite Thai food restaurant in the DFW MetroPlex. The staff is super friendly. They have a great selection of items, staff is very professional and courteous.
Ordered Teriyaki Chicken. Very bland, not like any Teriyaki I've ever had. We have eaten here for years and never has the food been so bad. It had been good up to this point. Don't know if will return.
Been here a few times now and over all its a good experience, very clean restaurant with good food. Sriracha chicken was nice and spicy and had great flavor. I would avoid the green curry however as it is just very very sweet. Never had a curry that sweet before. Everything else on the menu is fantastic though
Great atmosphere and excellent service and the food was marvelous. Enjoyed our women fellowship. Have already recommended to others and my family to go again to dine.
Good restaurant and good food!
Not good Thai food. Tom yum was just salt water with chicken. No spice. Will not be back.
I’ll definitely be a regular customer food was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent.
Great food but you should probably remove curbside pick up if that isn’t a service you provide.
Yummmm!!! Easy and fast and definitely will go back!
I will not give my hard earned money to a place that doesn't acknowledge me as a customer and leaves me sitting the bar for 10 minutes without taking my order and talking to white man next to me. It's giving caste and racism
We come here at least every few months or so. We love the sushi options as well as the food. There is always plenty left over for us to take home in a box and eat later. Real nice experience - family friendly. Great place. They also have a bar - but we didn't sit over there. You can just order drinks from your table.
So my daughter and I went to this place for the first time! Really excited! Very cool decor and the napkins looked so nicely folded. We were shown to a table and we proceeded to wait for our server. About 15 minutes went by when of became an apparent we were not being served. We walked out and as we did I informed the host we hadn't been helped and that we were leaving. She said "thank you for coming and see you soon". 😂😂 Totally did not care. Was actually hilarious. Regardless to say comedy is welcome but food is required. Zero stars
Asian mint has never disappointed with the food.
Slow service left us waiting for ages,
Green curry was the only standout,
Unwelcoming ambiance dampened the mood,
Front desk lady's demand for a tip was uncomfortable,
Only extras were extra spoons and to-go boxes,
Overall, a disappointing dining experience,
Management should address these issues promptly.
Not much to recommend unless you’re with a group that wants a wide variety of Asian cuisine but doesn’t particularly care if it compares favorably to peer restaurants. The prices are also quite fair. Asian Mint may just be the perfect compromise that you’re looking for
They didn’t take our order for almost 25 minutes and got the order to us super late. They didn’t even follow up for desserts and all. The front desk lady had a real attitude and fought with us about the tip. She yelled at us in front of everyone. The green curry was good but other food is average at best and service is worst. This happened to me perviously when I had a pickup order too. They were super rude.
Portions are massive! I never leave here hungry. Food is pretty good, I have been to other Asian Mint locations but I think this may be the best one. Drinks are good here too. Sushi is....mediocre, though it is a dinner only option anyway. Service is always on top and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Definitely worth a try if you like Thai food (it is mostly a Thai place), though it is going to be fusion so it's not "authentic". Still tasty, prices are fair. A solid B+ for food.
Here’s how it’ll go down with Mint 9 out of 10 times. Wife: “Let’s order Mint!”. Me: “Good call, Thai sounds good (forgetting the terrible pick-up experiences from the past…).”
We order online, says it’ll be ready in 25-30 minutes…great, head that way in a minute. We arrive to an entrance swarmed by delivery men, waiting and waiting and waiting. You will definitely meet a guy next to you at the bar who will say “I’ve been waiting here for over an hour.” The host will frantically assuage you with promises of “only 15 more minutes” and hand you a 20% off coupon for next time; but don’t fall for it. You will wait a good 45-60 minutes beyond your estimated pick up time. Every. Single. Time.
Customer service excellent. Food mediocre.
I am a many-times-repeat customer. I love the curry so much! Great sushi; I wish it was available at lunch time, also. The calamari is sooo good with a delicious sauce.
The decor is going for trendy and modern. The bathrooms are very limited-only a couple stalls. This place is best for small to medium sized groups or single dining, and it’s not necessarily kid friendly. Also, I
ordered a Shirley Temple, and the waitress was extremely confused. When I got my drink, it tasted really weird. Couldn’t put my finger on it. It was hard to get a refill also. So, I will definitely keep coming back because I absolutely love the food. But, I don’t really order drinks or dessert here, and I pretty much only come when I’m with one person. If you have the right expectations and love Asian food, you will love it. Also, there is free onsite parking, and you can order food ahead on their website.
Food and service was excellent. Went for lunch, and food came out in a timely manner even though it was pretty crowded. Will definitely go back there again!
The crab fried rice is the definition of comfort food.
Went for lunch. Food was great and will come back.
Food was excellent and service was initially good. Me and another couple were the only ones in the restaurant and after receiving my appetizer and drink my server disappeared and I wasn’t checked on again. I had to go to the bar to just cash out. I left and went somewhere else which makes me sad because the food was amazing.
I love the food, but when you order Togo, don't ask for sauce they charge you if it is Togo.
First time trying Asian Mint. I was pleasantly surprised with their take on the Chicken Basil stir fry.
First, theirs is actually Shrimp & Chicken Basil, and the shrimp complemented the dish very nicely. You get 4 large pieces, if I remember correctly.
Second, the dish presentation was amazing. I wished I had taken a picture. You get a small amount of rice, but it worked! It made the focus on the actual dish.
I found the place a little pricey... Almost $3/dish more than others.
That said, as my 1st visit was a business lunch, I look forward to trying them again under more personal circumstances.
$$$. You leave hungry. Not a good vibe. Needs a personality. Average. We won't be back.

The spicy tuna crisp with seaweed salad is a 10/10
Oooo lettuce wraps were hot 🥵
Crab Rangoon could’ve been a little more crispy but still delicious 😋
Service was good although they don’t have a happy hour during lunch time nor do they have a lunch menu
Food is good overall and I’ll be back for sure ✌🏻
Edit: came back to order one of my faves (Basil fried rice with shrimp) 🍤 😋
Nothing like a chocolate martini.
Best thai restaurant in Dallas with consistent service and food. The chef and owner is publishing her cookbook very soon so keep a lookout for that.
The restaurant is spotless. Decorated beautifully. Service was exceptional, and the food is incredibly fresh! I have never looked forward to leftovers until I ate at Asian Mint!
The food is phenomenal and the service is as well as well as the staff
Best entrees. Noodle bowls are excellent.has shrimp, tofu, chicken and beef.Hor'dorves. Hot.Ginger tea. Have been three times to try other plates. Excellent dining.
Pad thai was amazing here! You get everything on it: chicken, tofu, shrimp. And it's a generous portion! What a great deal!
Spacious and open, this restaurant was the perfect location for my whole family. Everyone was able to find their perfect dish; from dumplings, to sushi, to curry, Asian Mint had something for everyone. No one left food on the plate. The servers would disappear every once in a while, but for the most part, the service was adequate and the prices were reasonable.
I've heard great things about this place. I was picking up an order from Office Depot and figured I'd try it. It was very ok. The place was medium busy and I felt like I had to flag down my waiter for refills on my tea while I waited. It's better than most carry out but I don't feel a need to rush out again.
I had the pad kee mow (beef) and Thai tea. The pad kee mow was ok. It's enough to fill your stomach, but I didn't feel compelled to finish it. The Thai tea is probably the worst I've even had. I probably wouldn't order from here again. There are other Thai restaurants close by that offer better tasting food at about the same price.
I used to love their food but now it is too high in sodium (salt). Do they have a new cook in the kitchen? There’s no solution for an over-salted meal
So good , friendly and quick service.
I’ve been dining at this Asian Mint location for over a decade. Their food is always on point, I’ve celebrated many of my birthdays there, and will always make a stop when I’m in town. I came in last night with my fiancée, it was his first time dining at Asian Mint, and he absolutely loved it. I had the Pad Kee Mao Woon Sen, He had the Peanut and Basil Chicken Stir Fry, despite great portions, his plate was spotless, both were fantastic as always and I was just as excited for my leftovers! I do want to also comment on the particularly wonderful service given to us by Christina. She was friendly, outgoing, and professional. Having worked in this industry, I can say that she went above and beyond to provide us with hospitality throughout our meal.
The best Thai I've had outside of Thailand! Don't let the chain/mainstream image fool you, this food is GOOD. As a bonus, the curries don't have fish sauce, so no worries for vegetarians!
The guy handing out orders to go is very rude and unprofessional!
Food was marginal. Went for sushi at lunch which they now only serve at dinner. Due to food allergies, my choices were limited. Staff was abrupt and borderline rude (Either head server or manager).
Both soups I got were great and just what you need in winter but the chicken in them tasted very bad and super rubbery. Ruined the soup. I drank just the soup and ate the veggies in it but had to throw away the chicken.
Shrimp fried rice is so yummy!
Menu options are fantastic. Upbeat atmosphere but conversation-friendly. Reasonable prices. Fast service. And plenty of parking!
The drinks were creative and delicious!
My favorite was the lychee martini.
I ate at the bar because i went there alone .I ordered yellow curry with sweet potato, chicken and beef, with brown rice on the side and a bowl of edamame . both were fresh and fantastic. The bar keeper engaged me in conversation and though we disagreed, he made me feel like he was interested in my point of view. i will go there again when i find myself in this part of the world again .
Ordered delivery to work. Received the order in about s half an hour, food smelled great, but there were NO utensils. I had no way to eat it… it was NOODLES! Not a finger food. Drove up to the store to get them an explained what happened, and there was no apology, no compensation, no empathy for the fact that driving there to get this literally defeated the whole purpose of having it delivered… spent 60-70% more for the food to be delivered and couldn’t even eat it… ridiculous.
Mid at best
Good food 😀
The Pad Kee Mao with tofu was great!
STAY AWAY!!!!! VERY SHADY PEOPLE. I ORDERED FOOD THEY DECLINED MY ORDER BUT TOOK THE MONEY. WHEN I WENT TO THE ESTABLISHMENT AND ASKED FOR AN EXPLANATION THEY CLAIMED IT WASNT IN THEIR SYSTEM. THEY STOLE MY MONEY. STAY AWAY!!!! THEY DIDNR TRY TO HELP JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF I WANTED TO PLACE AN ORDER!!!! THE UNPROFESIONALISM IS HORRIBLE. THE MANAGER DIDNT EVEN TRY TO HELP JUST SAID SHE DIDNT SEE IT AND IF I WANTED TO ORDER. PLEASE IF YOU LIKE TO KEEP YOUR MONEY STAY AWAY!!!!!
best thai asian restaurant
The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the Golden Triangles and Original Pad Thai. The triangles were just ok, but the pad thai was a disappointment. Customer service is non-existent. Upon entering the establishment, the staff looked at me as if I had interrupted their meeting. They seemed somewhat disheveled. This is a one-and-done restaurant.
Fresh and delicious.
This was a very pleasant experience. Good service and better food! I will definitely come back to try other food items.
Staff was pretty great, kids dumplings needed some quality help but it is doing well still
Very peaceful. Great service. We ordered Basil fried rice and green curry with tofu and rice Food was 3 level spicy very delicious, tangy and fulfilling. Would definitely recommend.
Very nice place as you walk in. Unfortunately not such great flavors.
To me the menu was very limited and when that happens you expect the little selection to be great! But unfortunately that was not the case.
Nice place, but not coming back. Also very expensive for the quality. + They will rush you out. They kept asking to bring the check after 30 minutes of food being served. Paid the bill, wife went to the restroom before living and they came twice to ask if everything was ok with my family (5minute period) worst service ever!
Everything is good, just feels little expensive.
I really don't kn9w what's going up but I use to come Ines or twice a week i stop coming for 2 months and bow it took me more then 10 min until I have to walk put because I didn't get someone to get my attention in more than 10 min .. second time took 10 min to someone ask me of I need it something I was sitting in the bar.. the service has gone frome 10 to 4
I ordered pad Thai with shrimp and tofu. I took a big bite into the food and almost choked to death on a shrimp tail!!! If you’re going to leave the tails on your shrimp, don’t hide them in the food and put them on top. I will not eat there again!!!!!!
Treat everyone the same way you treat any customer and dont discriminate against delivery drivers because we are just doing our job and stop preparing regular customers food faster and put delivery orders on the 3rd queue .
Delicious and well priced Asian fusion. The portions are generous and the flavors are well balanced. My go-to takeout restaurant.
Love ❤️ this place
!
The best Thai food in dfw! I enjoy that Asian mint offers dietary options for gluten / dairy free peeps ! There are plenty of options and I enjoy the pad Thai , curry, and fried rice dishes! For the appetizers I enjoy the chicken satay, spring rolls, and coconut Thai soup. The gf options are clearly marked and the staff members are well trained and knowledgeable. I also enjoy the sushi here (only available for dinner) and their dessert such as mango sticky rice and sticky custard which are both gf and df! I highly recommend this place it is my favorite Thai place !
Whenever I’m in Dallas I always grab lunch here. The Pad Thai is authentic here and tastes good! Highly recommend for a lunch or quick dinner!
Best Thai food I have ever had. I got the Pad Kee Mow (Rice noodle, black soy, Thai basil, chili, egg, red bell pepper, tomato, romaine lettuce) and it was so good. 3 was the perfect level of spice where I could get enough kick, but also enjoy the food.
A nice stop to grab a quick meal.
Food good, front hostess not
Always great Chef Nikki really knows her Thai food!! Seasonal specials always great and one of the only places in the area to have kow qui on the menu.
Would have left zero stars if I could. Awful service to me and my very pregnant wife. Was made to pay three times for the same order, even though their payment device noted "Payment Complete". I also confirmed as much when I checked my credit card charges, that all three payments had gone through. Nonetheless, they asked me to pay yet again--essentially they were trying to get me to pay four times for the same order. I refused, and they refused to allow me to take my order unless I left them my credit card information or paid a fourth time using a different card. This, of course, wasn't an option, since they'd pretty badly messed up three preceding payments. And so, after 45 minutes of waiting, my wife and I were forced to leave with neither our payments refunded nor the food we ordered.
Always a great experience. Uqaluty of food and service conaistently operate at a high level!
Love the food. Quick to serve. Wait time is okay.
Cold saki on a warm, summer day!
Always an amazing time here! Every dish that comes out is always well-prepared, and they’re always adding to the menu—when we went this last time, they even had sushi!
Dishes are marked for gluten-free which I appreciate, and they even have low-carb items! I was super excited about the shirataki noodles, but unfortunately they’re so popular they were already out of them (just means I’ll have to come back another day to try them! 😜)
Came with my husband, aunt and uncle and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. As tasty as dinner was, I think we had even more fun with dessert. I had the jasmine crème brûlée. I consider myself a crème brûlée connoisseur, and I was told this one is made in-house. The crust was perfectly done, and I thought the raspberry sauce beneath the dish was a nice, unexpected touch that lended a lovely tart-yet-sweet contrast to the creamy-but-light crème brûlée.
My husband got the affogato; I stole a bite and we both agree it was absolutely delicious.
Can’t wait to come back! (Sorry no pictures of our mains—we were hungry! 😅 will update with them next time)
It's been years since I've visited this location. The food and service were great. Will pop in again for a bite.
Had Basil Fried rice tofu.. it was well made. Was expecting it a bit on spicy side.. but it was mild. Good place with good food
Update May, 2023 - Still amazing food and service. Order pick up regularly and dine in too. Everything is fresh and fast. Wasn't crowded on a Wednesday night 8pm and we were seated immediately.
Fantastic food and service. Always fresh and delicious. It's popular though so it does get crowded during weekday lunch. Dinner is usually easier to get seated. Large bar area and great selection of alcohol. Cocktails are great. I regularly eat here and recommend it to friends and family often.
Great staff, really good tasty food. I have eaten more than 3 times here and each time is a great experience. They have good portions on their food.
I love Asian mint. They never get my orders wrong and the food is wonderful.
Too expensive, but the food is great!!
Great food, big menu--all exceptional!
Lots of GF options. Attentive service. Take out/Dine in are both quick but do not skimp on quality!
My experience was poor considering the food is OKAY. I felt they were racist and treated me with bad customer service. I brought my sister and mother thinking that they would like it but turns out the menu is just subpar. If it wasn’t for me my family wouldn’t have gone there and I regret it because they refused to remake my order! They got it wrong and the manager told me that everyone heard me put the order in the way I received it. She didn’t understand that it’s a miscommunication. Me and my family were the only blacks in that store at that time and they treated us with racism. No smiles just looks of discontent. The receptionist was rude and made me feel dumb. The manager did not have good customer service! They couldn’t give me a credit, they refused. I had to come in that day! I told them I didn’t have a car to come back that day. It’s like she didn’t believe me! The employees look miserable with the manager. She kept telling me it was policy but that’s hard to believe seeing as she’s racist. She doesn’t deserve my money! Wish I could get a refund! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! ASIAN MINT YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW. THE GOD OF THE HEAVENS WILL SEEK JUSTICE ON MY BEHALF!
Good food but the menu seemed limited and the experience was not “stand out” from the food or atmosphere. Basically everything was good but not great enough for five stars
