I found this amazing new food trailer that has authentic Thai food. This morning when getting breakfast at Dave's Tacos I noticed a new food truck next to Dave's Tacos, it was closed so I asked Dave about the trailer. Dave said that they will open for lunch today for the first time in Austin. and highly recommended them. My wife and I came for lunch to try this new food trailer and OMG! this is the real deal. I ordered the GN8 Shrimp Southern Noodle and my wife had the GN7 Black Pepper Noodle. Hands down the best Thai food we have had in years! I really Highly recommend stopping by, you will not be disappointed.

OMG!!!!! This might be some of the best Thai food that I have had in decades. Decided to try it on a whim and I am so happy that we did. Great portions for the price which will give you 2 to 3 meals out of one order. The food is so fresh and tastes amazing. Throughout the meal, we couldn’t stop commenting on how great the food was. I have eaten alot of Thai food all over Central Texas this trailer wasn't bad.
The basil fried rice had good flavor but the wok wasn't hot enough to really make it "fried rice". The #1 best pad thai wasn't bad I have to admit I have eaten more American style pad thai than traditional but it was good my only complaint was that two of the muscles in mine didn't open so didn't eat them flavor was good. But my favorite part was the garlic chili fish sauce they gave me on the side I love fish sauce. The veggie egg rolls wernt bad look forward to trying different menu item's next time I go because this is the best thai food south of slaughter lane...

Love the vegan friendly options here, I got a vegan pad thai and veggie egg rolls & it was so delicious, full of flavor. My girlfriend got the green curry with chicken and said it was the best green curry she's ever tried. What a hidden gem of a trailer. It was raining and 30 degrees outside and the cashier was super kind and even insisted on delivering my order to the window of my car in the parking lot! They said they were able to do several items on the menu vegan, so I will definitely be coming back regularly! Highly recommend the pricing was reasonable and they also have access to a bathroom that looks like it actually been kept up with. Really nice location and vibes ❤️

Had Gotji’s today, wish I had it sooner. It was absolutely delicious! Best Thai I’ve had in yrs. The Pad Thai with chicken and the Texas Curry . Would highly recommend. The best curry is typically on point. Tonight, it was a bit on the watery side. The tofu red curry was also a bit watery and salty. It’s like both were missing coconut milk or something.

Best Asian food in Buda FR

Located in a food truck park, this small place serves delicious fusion Thai cuisine. Great balance of spices of authentic Thai dishes. The Texas ( because of use of brisket ) red curry was a treat, and so is the yummy crab fried rice. A must try if you like crab- this fried rice has real pieces of crab meat and tobiko!!!! Beef larb - seems like has a bulgogi twist to it- still enjoyed it as you can still taste the toasted rice. The tom kha soup can use a little bit more flavor - missing something!
I will definitely be back to try other Thai dishes like pad Thai. Well recommended!!!

My boyfriend and I eat here frequently! The food is fantastic!! But the service is why Gotji’s is our favorite, everyone is always very kind!! I always get the street fried noodles, I’m not a big fan of spice and they’ve even taken the extra step to make a special sweeter sauce for my food without even being asked!!! Holy deliciousness 🙌 I ordered the crab fried rice yesterday. Wow! Get it! I might go back for more today. Am I crazy?!? Lol. So GOOD! Also, something I noticed yesterday... the guy taking the orders is so dang friendly 😊 while I was waiting for my order, two women walked up to look at the menu. He opened his window and said hello. They barely acknowledged him, lol. I don't think they were trying to be rude, just different social norms, i guess. It just stood out to me... I thought, "He's so nice." Anyway, food is great. Service very friendly. Go here, go here now. What are you waiting for? Go!

My family and I have been coming here since they opened for business. The taste and flavors are authentic and delicious. The taste and quality have stayed consistent and did not decline over time. My favorite dish is the green curry. The customer service is always top notch. The staff is always very friendly. They are my go-to Thai food spot!

First timer here. This was some of the best Thai I have ever had. The eggrolls were crispy, even after the ride home. The new version of The Best Curry with shrimp was the star though. I asked for level 4 heat, and it was a perfect balance of richness and spice.

I can no longer say there isn’t any good Asian food in Buda/Kyle cause this place is amazing! Food was so flavorful, good portions and comparably priced. The guys in the truck are incredibly kind too. We tried to order online but noticed that we weren’t able to customize our heat/spicy preference so we ordered at the truck and got our food within 10 mins. Highly recommend! And super excited to have another meal from gotji’s.

The food and service were outstanding. We had coconut soup, street noodles, pad Thai, vegetarian egg rolls. We ordered online and picked up. It was quickly prepared and just perfect. The servings are large so we have leftovers for tomorrow. We will definitely order from them again.

My brother and I stopped in from SA, on the way to a concert in Austin. We needed some energy and good food, for the mosh pit, so we decided to look around. Luckily we found this Gem of an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD TRUCK! I’m picky on food. This made me tear up, after my first bite. It’s not common for that to happen to me! I would definitely drive from SA, just for this, next time!

We love Gotji! We mostly do Togo and everything we’ve had traveled well. We’ve had the pad Thai, several of the fried rice variations and the curry. Flavors are fresh. Service is extremely friendly and orders have been ready when they say it would be.
And if you’re lucky enough to catch them when they sell the chili oil get it while you can. It’s perfectly spicy and nice to have in the fridge.

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Buda. Their pad thai is a generous portion and is just fantastic. I also really like their pork eggrolls and soups. Owners are incredibly friendly and service is always pretty fast. This is the best Thai food around here, hands down.

My father is a 94yr old Korean War Vet who loves Thai food. We live in Buda now and just happened upon his trailer. Papa likes his food spicy (which showed 2 chili peppers). He ordered the #1 which consisted of shrimp, scallops, mussels…he usually has more than half of his meal for leftovers but he inhaled about 3/4 of his delicious meal.
I ordered the crab rice, having NO leftovers. 😂 Loved it!!! We’ll be back very soon.

Okay, so I’ll be honest. I’ve kinda screwed myself by going here so much…because now, I can not get Thai food from anywhere else. This is, hands down, without a doubt, the best and most flavorful pad Thai I have ever had in my entire 30 years on this planet. Not to mention the guy that runs it is an absolute joy. The quality is always A+. I’ve never gotten Gotjis food and said “ it’s not as good this time” this man deserves all the success he has and more.

First time trying it tonight! The person who took my order was so lovely and kind. He gently suggested I add the chili and lime and gave me an additional small garlic sauce to sprinkle over the top. I got the “Street Fried Noodle” with chicken and it was amazing! I don’t even like onions but the onions were cooked perfectly so I didn’t even mind. I will definitely be back.

I was hesitant to order the pineapple fried rice b/c we have had it at other Thai restaurants and never really loved it. But, Gotji's has changed my mind about this dish. I actually ordered it for my kids but I ended up eating a lot of it!

There is a reason this is 5 stars! Tom Kha was legit. So fresh and flavorful. Red Curry beef was very flavorful, had a TON of veggies and mild spice (I like pretty hot so this may be spicy for some). Gotji's Larb Beef was good but will go for the Pad Thai next. The food was ready on a Friday night really quickly for take out. Friendly service.

My new Thai favorite! For the longest time I've been ordering from the only Thai place I knew in Buda and one day I discovered you guys. Online ordering was so easy, lots of parking, friendly service and the best part, the FOOD is just so damn amazing, tastes fresh, delightfully seasoned, the price for the meals for the quality and portions is a steal. Loved the fruit gummies in my togo bag, yumm.
What we ordered for lunch was Pork Eggrolls, Roasted Chili Noodles with chicken and Crab Fried Rice. I'll definitely be back to try the curry and lots of other options.

Seriously some of the best food i've had in a long time. I had the best curry and it truly was the best curry. With the addition of mussels and crab I think $15 is a great price for some quality food. I live 30 minutes away and am eager to get back in the car and get some more Gotjis.

Now coming back to texas from colorado, i missed authentic thai food, luckily there was one right up the way from me! I always passed it when i go into town but one day i decided to go there. Well, mr. Jason was very respectful, polite and gave insightful information on where the food came from (authentic chef from the streets of thailand) not only the food is good, but light as well. You don't feel bad or sluggush afterwards. Found a new spot to eat!

Immediately hooked on the crab fried rice. The flavor is delicate but packed with umami. Love the chili sauce that comes on the side as well. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes! Service is super friendly and fast. Portions are generous but not too big, parking was easy to get in and out. Public bathrooms on site, in parking lot.

Thai gem in the heart of Buda!Very good Thai food that follows authentic Thai cooking style. Some will find the authentic style different than other area Thai restaurants, which is what I call "mexi-Thai" as they will use jalapeño for spice. Gotji's nicely features a lot of seafood dishes. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I appreciated that they customized ingredients per my request. If you ever enjoyed authentic Thai cooking, you will find this a true gem!

This place is amazing, the staffs extremely nice, they make the best pai thai I've ever tasted, and the price is right, I can't complain. Their other food is also good, I've tried the street fried noodles and tom kha.

Best pork egg roll I've ever had. Periodt. It took about 20 mins to get our food but it's made fresh and clearly made with love!! Delicious!!!!

We live outside of Dripping Springs and wanted to try this Thai Food truck located about one hour drive from our house. Since they have two menus, one for each half of the week we made sure to call ahead. We were told that there was some event that Sunday, yesterday, and there may be a problem with parking. The event was 3.5 miles away and there is parking behind the food truck. No problem, we thought. After arriving in the vicinity, the streets were closed. We had to park several blocks away and arrived around 5 mins. before their listed opening time, 12PM. Once there, we noticed a red sign in the middle asking to call ahead with your order so you don't have to wait that long. A man appeared at the window and announced that they will not be open until another 10 mins. I asked if we could at least place our order. He just slid the windows shut. Since it was now 3 mins. to 12, I decided to call and place our order over the phone as the sign suggested. As I placed the call, I saw the same guy slide over to his phone and turn off the ringer. I hang up and we quickly fled the site. Though, Thai food is mostly rice or noodles with some protein and spices, their prices are pretty high. Not only that, it turned out they just recently added an average of $2 to all of their prices. "Authentic Pad Thai: $17). We still can't figure out why Texas food trucks in general, with no overhead really to speak off, must have prices higher than brick and mortar restaurants? The menu posted on the truck still had the old prices, just to make sure to add to the confusion. Finally, after not answering my call 3 mins. before 12, as we were driving back home, they call me twice. Really? Never again.

I ordered the pad kee mao. Very peppery but soooo good! Friendly staff too, will go back!

It was a dark and stormy night…and they were open! I got their signature dish with crab and it was incredible. This is some of the best Thai food around and the two people who helped me that night were so wonderful and brought my food out to my car while I waited. Will be back many times!

I recently went to eat dinner with my brothers in Buda. We went to Gotji’s, where we were greeted with wonderful hospitality and food that was out of this world. Truly the best Thai we have ever eaten! This little food truck houses beautiful spirits cooking with the best ingredients to bring a smile to your face. A must try for food lovers and flavor heaven.

Excellent! Best Thai food I’ve had in a long time. We ordered Green Curry, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Ka Prao Gai and veggie egg rolls. Everything was delicious and balanced. My favorite was probably the Pad Ka Prao Gai, stir-fried ground chicken dish served with a garlic fish sauce and rice. Look forward to trying more things on the menu!

Normally I frequent the other Thai food place in Buda. But after the crab fried rice, fried noodles with chicken, and meeting the very friendly and caring Jason at the pickup window, I’m going to be coming back for more! Great food, and friendly service, what else do you need?

Incredible food. I had the Best Pad Thai (T1) and Pork Eggrolls (T2) - it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The Pad Thai is unlike any Thai food I have ever had, in the best way.

I will absolutely be back to try everything on the menu (although it will be hard to pass up that Pad Thai) - so excited to have such incredible food in Buda!

I have eaten alot of Thai food all over Central Texas this trailer wasn't bad.
The basil fried rice had good flavor but the wok wasn't hot enough to really make it "fried rice". The #1 best pad thai wasn't bad I have to admit I have eaten more American style pad thai than traditional but it was good my only complaint was that two of the muscles in mine didn't open so didn't eat them flavor was good. But my favorite part was the garlic chili fish sauce they gave me on the side I love fish sauce. The veggie egg rolls wernt bad look forward to trying different menu item's next time I go because this is the best thai food south of slaughter lane...

I’ve been to a lot of Thai places around the Austin area, and this is the best. This is my third visit this month. The seafood is what to come for, but they also have chicken and tofu. I don’t think they even serve beef, but I don’t miss it! Mussels, crab, shrimp, squid, all of it has been great. They kick things up a bit from what most area Thai places do, and it’s well worth it! The seafood Pad Kee Mao and the Street Fried Noodle (similar to Pad See Ew) are my favorites so far, but I think I’m going to work my way all the way through the menu.

The pineapple fried rice was so good!! 10/10 would go back. I’ve got to say it was the best one I’ve had so far!

You can’t go wrong, I hope they choose to open a brick and mortar store in Buda

First time there, tried the Larb, street Fried noodle, and crab Fried rice all were on point. Only thing I would chang would be ask for more chili. But I eat ghost peppers so I like things hot. Canned Thai Tea was good.
