Absolutely superb dining experience at Poy Thai & Sushi! The flavors transported me back to Thailand with every bite. The fried pork with sticky rice is an absolute must-try, bursting with deliciousness and perfectly cooked. The Gapow pork was another highlight, reminiscent of authentic Thai flavors. Friendly staff, cozy ambiance, and most importantly, incredibly tasty food. Definitely deserving of five stars!

I rarely give low reviews, but the food was too aweful, the sashimi fish is uneditable... either still frozen, or watery, simply very unfresh... We also tried Eel nigiri, and the rice fell apart. The Pad Thai noodles were clumped together. I shared my feedback with the store manager hoping it could improve things for future clients but response I received was " we haven't heard other customers complain"...

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday just as they opened at noon. The restaurant is small but inviting, and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Turns out it was just their 11th day of being open for business. I perused their sushi menu but opted for the Pad Thai with extra fresh basil, and hot ginger tea to drink. My husband ordered sweet and sour veggies with chicken and steamed rice. It didn't take long for our order to come out, and both were delicious.

The servings were ample and nicely presented. We both asked for boxes to take the remainder of the food home. Note that this is authentic Thai food, not Asian fusion. We highly recommend Po Thai and expect they will be in business a long time

The pandemic may have caused them to change owners but the quality has not faltered. The flavors are amazing. The service is amazing. The prices are good. Once again my favorite phó place is open. These guys definitely deserve an A. Be looking for my video review on Jack on the Go show on YouTube.

I’m not certain of why some do not like the new ownership! I personally feel like many of the dishes got upgraded big time. Love their Tom Kha and Cashew Nut Stir Fry. With that being said, the Mango Sticky Rice is where it’s at - so good! Plenty of seating.

This was our first time there and it was FANTASTIC! We truly enjoyed it. We shared a spider roll and had yakisoba with beef and pineapple fried rice. Can't wait to go back and try something new!

Food was fresh and delicious. I had ginger style scallops and my husband had a veggie dish. My husband even loved it and he does not usually like Thai food. Drinks were awesome as well. I had a long island iced tea and it was the perfect balance.

The food is good but they need to work on customer services and they only have pick up if you made an order online make sure you call and find out if they received because sometimes they don’t check those orders or even call you to give you updates about delays.

We were in town for baseball and are so glad we found this gem. We dined for dinner on Friday and everything was delicious (we even saw someone dancing in her seat while eating which we can only assume was from the pure joy her taste buds were experiencing). All our boys talked about was going back, but we weren't sure how to make that happen with our baseball schedule. Due to storms, our games were delayed/cancelled and instead of heading home early, we hung around to dine in for lunch before making the long drive back home. The staff immediately recognized us as having been in previously and were so friendly. Poy, the owner, genuinely cares about the customer experience. Sunshine, our server whose actual name I wish I could remember, was attentive, informative, and took the time to ask about us. Zach, the manager and bartender makes the most delicious cosmo and when I ordered one at lunch (which I never do), he filled it to the brim because he remembered my compliments from Friday night. If I could rate this place more than five stars, I would! ♥️

Our most favorite Thai place north of Nashville. We hit this spot up once every month or 2. Food is always fresh, steaming hot and delicious. Rolls are prepared fresh and the Thai Tea is outstanding and addictive. Service is always top notch too. Seating is usually quick unless you get there during the supper rush. Parking can be a challenge depending on timing as well. Food is fairly priced, with most meals coming in under $15 per person... depending on the protein ordered. We have taken family and friends here as well, and I expect to continue going here quite often. Would recommend to anyone.

This place is just okay. It’s expensive for the small portions they have. One older waiter acts like he’s better than all of the customers and isn’t nice. Another waiter was rude to me when I wanted to order my VEGETARIAN dish without fish sauce (which contains real fish). So honestly, it’s just very middle of the road and not good for people with dietary restrictions and not nice to people who ask for no fish sauce.

The food is tasty. We went on Mother’s Day. They gave a gift to my sister in celebration. We really felt so good for their token of appreciation for all the mothers.

Rude. Coming from Texas, my husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday and stop by this place for an early dinner. We are towing a small boat and took up 3 parking spaces. A guy with a superior attitude from the restaurant ran out & asked us if we could pull up, but we were at the limit of the parking space, so we couldn't. We told him we were just going to order to-go meals, not stay and there were 25 other empty parking spaces a avaible. The employee just shook his head and mumbled under his breath. Evidently, they don't need customers. He was just rude. With his unwelcoming attitude, this is absolutely the last place I would ever spend money in.

One of our local faves....the crunchy shrimp roll sushi is one of the best I have ever had. 😋 The pad wunsen (not sure of spelling) is our favorite main dish and seaweed sald and/or fresh rolls our favorite appetizer. Overall, very fresh and delicious food every time!

Zach M. is very rude. We had asked for California rolls and Crunchy Shrimp. When I got home I looked and did not see it and called to see if I had made a mistake and left it. He said I did. I went back and asked him and he said “Joanna” and I said “no” then he goes on to say “I gave you your food” I said I did not see the crunchy shrimp and he says “It is in the box, I packed it myself, It is in three rows, I will need to see the box” we drive back home get the food and bring it. He opens it then laughs and says “here it is” but they look identical. No one mentioned that they look alike which he needed to elaborate, and in no universe should an employ worker raise a voice over a miscommunicated situation.

This was the best Thai food I have had in Tennessee yet. It was delicious, the employees were super kind! I got the Pad Kee Mow and the basil stir fry for me and my boyfriend and both were super flavorful and delicious! Level 4 spice was perfect for us. Definitely will be our new go to Thai place.

Was in town for business and got into town late. This was only non fast food place advertised to be open until 9pm on Saturday. Walked in at 8:15pm and was told they’re doing to-go only because it was “so slow” and they’re closing the kitchen early. It’s Saturday night and posted to be open until 9? It’s not like I walked in at 8:55 right at closing. Never heard of anything like this.

A bit quirky and quaint enough to be one of our family favorites! Excellent sushi and everything thing else you would expect from an unassuming Thai restaurant.

The spring rolls were good, the sushi was bland, but the curry rice was fire, in a great way! The curry rice entree was awesome. My husband and I eat a lot of spicy foods and the 🌶️🌶️🌶️ was on point. I can appreciate when you go to a restaurant and they say spicy that it actually is spicy with great flavor. Will I go back, probably not. But I'm looking forward to making some of these cocktails at home; great cocktail menu.

The Crab Rangoons are SO good. I’d come back here just for that alone. I like the pad Thai too, it’s really good, although I think it could use some more sauce. It was a bit dry where the noodles wouldn’t come apart from each other.

This has to be the best sushi place outside of downtown Nashville. It's a quiet little spot that sometimes is busy, but most often you walk in and get a table. The service is INCREDIBLE, and the food is super authentic. While my husband and I go mainly for the sushi, we've had the Thai as well, and it is just as incredible. I strongly encourage anyone with a love for sushi in our landlocked state to give this a try. They receive fresh seafood daily and you can tell in the taste. There are many raw options (unlike most smaller town who cater to those who prefer tempura everything), including the nigiri selections. Their drink menu looks tasty as well; however, I've not tried anything other than the sake. All in all, you need to try this place. You won't be disappointed.

I am beyond happy with our experience with our pick up order tonight! We were greeted right away, asked if we wanted any water while we waited for our food. Our food arrived within a minute or two, and everything was absolutely amazing! I ordered several tuna rolls, and chicken PadThai. Everything was packaged well and was top quality! I think we’ve found our new favorite restaurant!

We recently stopped in with the family for the first time after having driven by this restaurant many times! The unassuming exterior at the end of a strip mall belies the ambiance and food quality inside.

The interior of the restaurant, being bright and airy, is welcoming. The staff seemed genuinely friendly and helpful and provided excellent table service! The food quality was excellent across all of the dishes we ordered. Each dish that we sampled had delicious, "clean" flavors and spice levels were appropriate.

We were really impressed with the quality of the dining experience! I hope that they continue to maintain this level of quality and service. We plan to dine here again and recommend to friends and extended family!

I scheduled the food to be ready at 8:56 pm. When I got there, it still wasn't ready for almost 20 more minutes. The dumplings were not good, couldn't eat them. The chicken fried rice smelled weird and tasted a little weird. The only good thing was the atmosphere inside the building.

Food is great, service is attentive and friendly, atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. I've been here many times, tried many of their dishes, and it's all been great every time.

Pho has ZERO flavor! This is the absolute worst Pho I've ever had! Toilet bowl water would taste better than this. Very over priced for what you get. If you're looking for Pho, go elsewhere.

The food was good. Thai style hot is actually hot. Pad grapow was a bit dry, I would have preferred a bit of sauce with it but it had good flavor and heat.

Friendly staff and real Thai food. Everything we had was delicious. The Laarb Gai was a favorite, having all the Thai flavors with accompanying sticky rice and extra lime to squeeze on top. Great cocktails, too! The Thai Tea Tini exceeded my expectations. We’ve traveled to Thailand many times and this place brought us back. Thank you!

It was wonerful, and very calming! Only reason for not full stars is my bf had their spicy rank 5, spicy mama and the waiter [who was amazing and sweet] made it seem like it was extremely hot. He loves spicy stuff and can handle it, but I have gurd and shouldn't have been able to even taste a drop of the stuff without having an acid attack. However when he said it was weirdly not spicy at all, I tried some which should have sent me to the restroom crying if it was spicy even a little, [ I have zero tolerance due to my gurd] but I was able to not only eat a small piece, I also then took a whole bite with no issue. He was either surved the wrong dish or they severely falsely advertised their spicy dish, spicy mama. Other then that the place was amazing! The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was dutifull, kind, and very helpful. Other then the weird dish confusion it was a wonderful place. 5 stars will be going again for more!

My first visit since the reopening. Food was prepared and was fascinated by the quality and the overall tastyness of it. The order consisted of sushi and Thai food. All of which was fresh savory and presented in an attractive manner. I will recommend this facility to others that enjoy good Thai food.

Back home from a business trip.

I ordered dine in then went back the next day for take out. The exact same appetizer.

A month later. Take out.

What happened ? Did you change the recipe? The dipping sauce for the pork strips was nothing but cheap soy sauce with onions and green peppers! Not a good combination for pork strips. The chicken satay was burnt and blackened on one side. The vegetable wonton soup was mostly liquid and cilantro 10% scallions and vegetables! Where was the delicious meal I ordered 2 times last month?
For $26.67 I expected the same wonderful flavors for that kind of price a month ago. I ended up getting a $12.00 meal from a cheap take out joint by some highway gas station.
Are you under new management? New chiefs? Look folks. I will pay high prices for a meal from a trained culinary chef every day. Money is not a problem. But the quality of flavor is a must.

Goodlettsville has lacked great food for some time but not anymore. I've found my sushi place and I don't have to drive to Nashville to get it. Poy Thai and Sushi's Thai food is homemade and from experienced chefs. They use fresh ingredients that make a huge difference. And the sushi is AMAZING!! Prepared by Pan, one of the best sushi chefs I've encountered in this part of the country. I have tried everything on the menu and most 2x. I've also been honored to have Pan create something off menu and all have been simply incredible. I am so happy to have this restaurant here in my backyard and highly recommend trying it if you like sushi and/or Thai food. It also doesn't hurt that they carry one of my favorite NA beers on the menu as well! Poy Thai and Sushi I pray you're here to stay! Excellent!

We just had the worst experience at Poy Thai & Sushi. My husband never received the food he ordered and my daughters level 3 spicy dish was tasteless and bland.
Long after everyone had finished eating except my husband, they found his sushi in a to go container that had been sitting out, placed it on a plate and expected him to eat it!🤢

Dumplings and summer roll apps were delicious. I’d put that dumpling sauce on everything! Pad Woonsen had great flavor - so far the best place I’ve had it. My wife had sushi and said it was excellent. Definitely recommend!

Took a while to get our food and all of our dishes came out at different times, but the food was amazing. Just wish the family could have all eaten at the same time. I do recommend for the food quality and freshness alone.

The food was very good, fresh ingredients. Zack was great. Mr Pan as well. Best restaurant experience in years. Fried rice was awesome....thats how good everything was.

I just have to say that Poy Thai & Sushi is by far the best Thai place to eat! They are the best servers and great and high spirit people. Always welcoming with a big smile. And the food is to die for! Always gonna be the Thai place we go to!

We arrived Saturday at 720p. Was greeted with a smile and was took to our table within 5 min. of entering, they weren't busy maybe 5 tables besides us.
We overlooked the menu while our server brought us water to start the meal.

After overlooking the menus we decided to order a spicy crab sushi and a California roll.
The sushi was good, everyone loved it and it was tip notch!
At our table we decided to order a round of soup Tom KHA and it was excellent the flavor and spice was perfect!

What we ordered for dinner was the Chicken Satay and fried rice, Pad SE-SW, Pad Grawpo and Panang curry beef.

Food was quick to table, flavors were spot-on and service was perfect!

If we're in the area this will be a spot we'll come back to..

Place is great!! Definitely going back. Staff was kind and helpful. Place was tidy. Food was amazing and not overpriced! Everything we had was amazing. The vibe there was also stellar, no blasting music. Would for sure recommend.

Really good Thai quisine, and large portions! We Got 2 orders of Thai Red Curry to go and paid $24.13 total.

This place is great! Staff is great! Best beef salads and larb gai! Try the chili oil too!

I was hungry for Thai food and saw Poy Thai across from the inn. Ordered curry, noodle dish , special dish and dessert and they’re all delicious. The service was great. He got me utensils and napkins so we can eat leftover at the hotel. I definitely come back and try the sushi next time.

If you have never been here please give yourself a favour and try it. Food and service both are amazing. Great Menu. Great hospitality.

The pandemic may have caused them to change owners but the quality has not faltered. The flavors are amazing. The service is amazing. The prices are good. Once again my favorite phó place is open. These guys definitely deserve an A. Be looking for my video review on Jack on the Go show on YouTube.

I’m not certain of why some do not like the new ownership! I personally feel like many of the dishes got upgraded big time. Love their Tom Kha and Cashew Nut Stir Fry. With that being said, the Mango Sticky Rice is where it’s at - so good! Plenty of seating.

Our experience so far with new management has been great. After begging them to make it super spicy with fresh Thai chili's they obliged and gave us phenomenal face melting spicy food. Also so happy they sell sticky rice!
