This place was very good but the protein portion seemed small on my plate. The spicy old man had beef, it was sliced so very thin but plated in a manner which looked as if there were a lot of meat on the dish. It was spicy, which I loved and had a very good flavor. Plenty of parking and the staff was nice. They decor was odd. In the middle of January, Christmas tree was still up π with green and red ribbons on the hanging lamps and there were also Valentine's decorations already up and intermingled though the restaurant. Just a little weird.
This is the best Thai food in the whole Memphis area. They have master the art of Thai cooking. Everything was very flavorful! Best things are the Tom Yum and Thai iced coffee. But every item we had was great.
There food and atmosphere is amazing! My wife and I love coming. We have tried so many Thai restaurants this is the best in town!
I recently visited the Thai Bistro. The service was very good, and the atmosphere was fine and peaceful. I came in right as they started their dinner hours and was greeted immediately. I got the Pad Thai with shrimp, no onions, and added mushrooms. Those adjustments made the dish a bit pricier than I'd want to pay next time, but it was very good. I got fried ice cream for dessert, which was OK but not worth the $6.50. By myself, I spent $35 including a tip. This restaurant is quite pricey, but I understand in the world of inflation. I would try them again for sure, but it will probably be a while.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Great place for an early dinner. Chicken Satay, Shrimp Rolls and the soups were all incredibly delicious!! Not our first meal here, nor our last. Consistently great Thai food
With two locations serving the downtown and Bartlett areas, Thai Bistro carries the torch for the gaping hole left behind by the closings of Bhan Thai and Thai Basil.
On this particular visit, we had the Green Curry Chicken and the Pad Thai Tofu. Both were very good, and they both came with complimentary soup and spring rolls! We also had a side of the fried rice, which was very rich and flavorful.
Would recommend this restaurant for Thai fans looking for a relaxing place to dine.
Thai bistro is genuinely one of the best restaurants in Memphis. The food was phenomenal and so authentic! The service is great and they are attentive and responsive. We ordered the tom kha, calamari, pad see ew, and papaya salad. Everything was packed with flavor! We left satisfied and happy!
I love the here. and the service is excellent!
We ate four kinds of food. π with beerπ» It was really delicious and I liked the neat restaurantπ I felt an incredible service and kindness. My husband and I love Thai food. We decided to come back next time.β Thanks π

Service is always great, and staff is always friendly to me.
Waited was so friendly and the food was delicious!

Very good food and exceptional service and atmosphere
The best Mango sticky rice. I've tried alot and they are the best
Had the Drunkin noodle. It was excellent. The food is consistent.. always yummy.. thank you for the great food and great service.
It was a wonderful experience! The thia iced tea is a must!
We are regulars and have never had anything that was great! Plus the lady is truly a sweetheart!
Everything was delicious. I got the Chicken Street Noodles.
Amazing Thai Food. Best in Memphis.
Amazing service and food. Thai tea was delicious and so was the curry. Definitely going again when I come back into town.
One of my favorite places to get Thai food! π The red curry w/ tofu and the crab Rangoons are my go to and am always recommending this spot.
Came in for lunch and everything was fantastic! Drunken noodles and chicken pad Thai was super flavorful.
Great Pad Thai. Homemade desserts. Friendly staff.
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Great place for an early dinner. Chicken Satay, Shrimp Rolls and the soups were all incredibly delicious!! Not our first meal here, nor our last. Consistently great Thai food
Very kind, excellent food, local restaurant. What more could you ask for!
Very disappointed in the food. Everything tasted like it was frozen and just fried. The calamari were tough and oily. The tom yum soups were very sour and the shrimps in them were boiled in water before so had no taste.
The pad thai was also bad made with a store bought sauce.
On top of that we had to kill a cockroach that was walking on the wall behind us.
Nothing tasted authentic and I say this having traveled to Thailand multiple times. I wouldn't recommend
Friday 11.8.24 The best Thai food I've had in a very long time, served by wonderful people in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Grilled salmon in a brown sauce, red pork and green beef curry and mango sticky rice - all outstanding and in "human sized" portions. The vegetables, especially the bamboo shoots were done to perfection and the pork and beef were cut and cooked just right. Well worth the 45 minute drive!
Best drunken noodle in town. Service was outstanding, first time here, will definitely recommend and come back!
The server was extremely polite, the atmosphere/ambience was beautiful, but most importantly, the food was excellent! I got the drunken noodle, and the spice level was spot on. The flavor was fantastic, as well!
Definitely check them out.

Amazing food and great service! Would definitely recommend!
First visit here, and I'll be back. The food was fresh and hot. I loved the massaman curry and tom kha soup. Spicy old man was spicy with tender beef. Food came out quickly. The restaurant had an open yet cozy feel.
Fresh spring rolls where awesome and my yellow curry chicken was to die for. My waitress was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for wonderful food and experience.
Low quality food. With a high price and very small portions. I mean really. Noooope. I miss pho bhin!
the panang had good flavor. our waitress was polite but very slow and forgetful. we probably won't go back
Worst customer service. The lady was so rude, we ordered basil sauce and that sauce was too salty, she was not ready to take it off from the check, mentioning you put the spoon in the sauce, so we have to charge you. But we didnβt even ate that sauce. The yellow curry was more vegetables and less curry and it was too salty as well. I mentioned her that for future reference make sure you guys know to do less salty. She was so rude saying, you had ordered something that is not in the menu, which was wrong and later she is like its chefβs recipe and he is the owner and she was having zero customer service. The lady was mentioning I donβt work here, whatever it is if she works or not, but you should have a customer service if you want people to come to your place.
First time here but will not be the last. I'm not sure how I've missed this gem. Drunken noodles best I've had. Crispy tofu was perfection. Highly recommend. Small, cozy restaurant.
Delicious! Red curry and spaghetti Ke Mao!
i ordered Tom Yum soup and in no way resembled Tom Yum soup at all. I even questioned the store where my Tom Yum soup was and they said thatβs what it was a clear broth with two shrimp and floating mushrooms and thatβs all. Do they even know what Yum soup is? Tom Yum is a coconut face soup with lemon grass and sometimes vegetables but not a clear soup with two shrimp and a little bit of mushrooms. Very disappointed. had I not asked them to put in rice noodles it wouldnβt of been anything more than a bowl of broth
This place is so great. We came in on a Wednesday afternoon to kill time and this place was just what we needed. Super friendly staff and the food is AMAZING with great prices.
I recently ordered shrimp pad Thai, fried rice, and shrimp pad se ew on 2/23. The fried rice and pas se ew was burned pretty bad. The pad Thai tasted extremely sour like the restaurant recooked old food. I got sick the next morning after eating it. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all!

So happy the food was hot when it got here and it was delicious. The soup is so good Iβm sick with RSV and the soup is good and I know itβll make me feel better. Thank you.
Great little spot. Though we rolled in just before closing they were nice enough to serve us. Food was so good.
This place is amazing and delicious. I had the vegetable tempura, coconut shrimp, and fried rice. Everything was so good! The sauce for the tempura was amazing! I try to go there whenever I can.
I agree with Arjun Patel that the panang lacked in taste and consistency.
-Presentation: Vegetable and chicken look appetizing, but curry is a watery moat.
- Taste: Can't taste the kefir and coconut milk. You can feel the gritty curry powder in each bite.
Keith Roger assessment of the staff, egg roll, soup, and pad thai is on target.
-Pad Thai w/traditional noodle is a "meh". It lacked flavor and bean sprouts.
-Staff: Excellent.
Tom Yum Soup is good π. Be warned β οΈ it is spicy πΆ π₯.
I am leaving a review because simply this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. I would have and should have taken a photo of the food, but I couldnβt wait to dig in. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place
Nice bistro with great service. Food was very quick and even included a soup and egg roll. The fresh spring rolls are very good and bigger than what I typically get. The peanut sauce is good but also a little sweet and chunky. PAD Thai is good but lacking a little flavor. Nice that they had the option for glass noodles. I didn't specify heat level but added the peanut sauce which balanced it out great.

Always delicious food and the people are wonderful! love eating here.
Place is amazing!
Visited on a Saturday. I ordered the chicken pad thai, spring rolls, and curry potstickers. The potstickers are not on the menu, but they were a staple from the previous owners of Thai Bistro. I did not smell food cooking (pretty good exhaust system in the kitchen) were my thoughts. My to go order was ready within 15mins or so.
The spring rolls (2) are small, comes with plum sauce, and tasted like a frozen variety, potstickers are NOT the same as the previous potstickers, the curry sauce comes on the side, it is very thin and did not coat the potstickers at all. The pad thai was just ok, but plenty for a lunch portion. I ordered spice level 2 out of 10 and it did have a nice kick to it. Visit and try for yourself, but for me, I can't say that I would visit often.
Amazing family dinner. Thank you.
They're closed til July 11 π₯²
Coming into this place you get the feeling the food is going to be great. Its a small restaurant but the atmosphere is well crafted.
The waitress we had was thorough. If this restaurant was in midtown it would be poppinβ.
Will come here again.
The food is top notch, everyone at the table agreed. I had pineapple rice. My friends had holy basil stir fry and drunken noodle. Along with tum kha soup.
They do sell beer.
Wonderful place, eat here.
GO TO THAI BASIL INSTEAD, THANK ME LATER. It stinks as soon as you walk in, and I am not referring to any type of Asian food. The server is trash. The actual lobby stinks. There's nats everywhere, literally had one served to me on my eggroll, which was undercooked, egg rolls should be crunchy not soft, the food was trash, worse thai food restaurant I've ever been to, the cook should be ashamed. There's another Thai food place down towards wolfchase as well. Go there, save your money and your appetite.
So far, the best Thai place in Memphis area. You can tell the chef prides in his work. We tried the drunken noodle and pad thai and the noodle was cooked to perfection! My wife and I were so happy we found this place! Reminded us of our favorite thai place in L.A. The food was so good I forgot to take photos, it was all gone by the time I realized LOL
Great service and I had a great time with my buddy Felipe
If you like Thai food, you will enjoy this spot. The place was nice and clean. The workers were kind and friendly. I enjoyed the food very much, especially since it's spicy. But know when they say spicy, it's spicy. Overall, a great experience.
Healthy options . Vegetarian options. Sticky rice and incredible soups
Great Bistro to go to eat/drink & VERY clean. VERY nice employees. Wonderful atmosphere.
Iβm addicted to the Thai fried rice with shrimp. Iβve had it three β¦yes T-H-R-E-E times this week.β¦about 7 or 8 times this month and itβs only the 15th. Lately, itβs been the only thing on my mind. I go to sleep thinking about it and spend my days daydreaming about it. But no seriously itβs sooooooo good! I highly recommend. Thank me later π
Eh it was ok..doesnβt taste like authentic Thai food. It definitely wasnβt worth $60 of what we ordered, I had beef with papaya salad, the papaya salad didnβt taste like traditional papaya salad, it was sweet; the sauce that came with it taste like straight lime juice with chili pepper seeds. I was hoping for that stinky fish sauce taste, but the Thai tea was nice.
Food was great. Small selection of beers but the did have some Thai beer. Overall a great dinner.
Me and my friend was looking for some Thai food and came across this place. It was a little late in night, and the place was about to close. There was nobody when we popped in. The server was cute but she was kinda hurried things up. Again, I understand it was almost the closing time! We started with some fried calamari. It was kinda basic, and tasted like reheated. ( well, itβs my guess) in the main entree I got hot basil chicken. The dish was hot and spicy. And the portion size was big. Overall, pretty basic.
Went on a Saturday afternoon. Service was great and food was even better. I had the crispy spring rolls and chicken pad thai. Both were outstanding. I had a couple of sips of my husband's tomkha and I have been craving it ever since. Can't wait to go back!
I've had "Thai" food all across the USA. I was in airplanes twice a week for a few years. I got tomkha, papaya salad, and a fresh roll. I like it spicy... They did it the real way, I didn't get papaya salad with a ton of crushed peppers, there was fresh birdseye chilli slices in there. The tomkha had fresh lemon grass.... π π π Thank you. You pulled punches and gave me medium spice, but I get it(and thank you for telling me). I can only imagine how most of the population responds to chilli. Too many places give giant portions and dump sugar in it. You gave me quality food.... Real food. I'm so sorry I see negative reviews on your spice etc. Memphis has tough good critics who are rude. I will definitely become a regular, and I hope you guys stay in Bartlett for a long long time.
Great food and super friendly staff!
This restaurant used to be a favorite of my family and I. The food, the service, the experience, it was all excellent. Upon hearing that it was being sold, we were devastated but still eager to try the new place. The settling was clean and all too familiar. We started with some fresh spring rolls and noticed it was default served with "plum sauce" we promptly asked if it could be substituted with peanut sauce as per traditional Thai rolls, the waitress assured us it was not an issue. The rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce was acceptable. For our entrees we ordered our favorites from the previous owner hoping they would at least be similar, red curry and yellow curry. My red curry was not nearly as good as before but still alright and worth eating. My daughter's dish, however, was disgusting and she was unable to even eat it, whatever it was, it did not take like yellow curry. But alas, we boxed it up, marked this restaurant as a disappointment, and were ready for the bill. We noticed right away an unexpected total, reviewing it we noticed we were charged an extra $3 for the tiny dish of seemingly substituted peanut sauce. Which is frankly outrageous considering the rolls themselves we're $2.75. I asked the waitress why we were charged extra when she had previously assured us it would be a substitution for the "plum sauce" and that we didn't feel comfortable paying for something we weren't informed about. The waitress was clearly put off by the request and rudely stated it had already been rung up. She then proceeded to stare at us a bit before ultimately unzipping her fanny pack and quite literally threw coins at us and on the table exclaiming "here, I'll just pay for it". In all years of dining never had I had such an experience as this and was ashamed my daughter had to witness such behavior. Never again, just no.
Great food!
My husband and I love true Thai food. We have tried several thai restaurants only to be let down by taste and service. Thai Bistro lived up to our service and taste.
The owner changed and the food is no longer authentic Thai. I ordered the panang curry (fav from old owners) and I did not taste the kefir lime, galanga, or lemongrass (all of these were present before). Instead, the new curry recipe tastes like it used yellow curry powder: I tasted a lot of cumin and turmeric. I am very sad that the old Thai Bistro is gone. I will not be going back.
Update: the owners say it is close to authentic as possible. However, this is not true. Iβve been eating Thai my whole life and their recipes are missing important ingredients. The taste might pass for normal customers that donβt eat Thai but not for people accustomed to the real flavors. I can open a can of Maesri curry for a more authentic taste. There is an international market right in Cordova. Please go there and buy the real ingredients.
Owners please answer: do you use real kefir lime, galanga, lemongrass, shrimp paste, etc? If not, please just use a can of Maesri because these ingredients, while not the freshest, are at least present in their curry.
My husband and I ordered food here tonight. I had the Pad Thai and also ordered a Thai coffee. I canβt even really give a review on the food because I canβt get past the fact that there was something long and slimy in my coffee. I am so upset because some of it went into my mouth and I had to spit it out. I canβt even identify what it is. It was black and translucent and very slimy. I thought it was some type of bug. I am writing this review very upset and we are contemplating what we should do. Eat at this place at your own risk. This is probably the most disgusting thing Iβve ever had happen at any restaurant Iβve ever been to.
Came in one day with a group of friends. The food was good. One of my friends had gotten the duck and let me try some. It had me wanting to come back and get me one π, so I did. The waitress was very nice and remembered me wanting one from my prior visit. Would highly recommend ππΎππΎ.
I ordered the chicken/Wonton soup & dumpling soup. The soup did not come with any crispy wontons like other establishments I've frequented (huge disappointment) but did have flavor at least. The dumpling soup was basic, with not much flavor. In all honesty, I've visited many Asian, Chinese, Thai and Japanese restaurants with delicious soups, but this order was by far at the bottom of the list. It amazes me that the reviews and pictures I've seen don't reflect the food. Is it so hard to maintain consistency and produce exceptionally good quality food? So many restaurants have gone π. I understand that they aren't Michelin Star restaurants but if you maintain good food and service on a regular basis, it's bound to amass similar accolades. Word of mouth is a powerful thing. If all you can afford is a small spot in an not so upscale neighborhood, but you produce great food consistently, I believe the effort would benefit tremendously. Attitude & mentality are key. If half these food businesses would take note, they'd have flourishing gains.
Delicious food and attentive staff. You can tell they use fresh ingredients in their food.
Excellent! Everything tasted great and as expected! Love to come back!
Edited, have been back now a time or two. Still great, but there have been times when we wanted to go and they have either closed early or they wouldn't even make a to go order on my birthday. It's not that close to us so as much as we would love to go more often it's just unreliable.
Great food and service
Awesome food. Their Pad Thai Noodles, Massaman Curry, Panang Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice, Pumpkin Custard were all just tooooo fantabulous β¦ Must visit for all spicy Thai food lovers β¦ Ambience was good and the waiters were friendly too.
I order from Thai Bistro often. I can tolerate a lot of spice, but my last order was awful. The entire meal was not enjoyable because they added too much spice when I indicated no spice. I called the restaurant and the employee that answered said thatβs howβs they βmadeβ it today. Consistency is a must when dealing with meals that are priced at $14 a bowl. Sorry, you only get 1 star today, wish I could have given you half. My kids nor myself was able to enjoy this $50 meal. Management please be more consistent when people are spending their hard earned money.
Spice level is top notch, go easy when youβre ordering even if you like it spicy, regretted my 8 out of 10 spice choice.
Appetizers are good too much oil in rolls, pad Thai and basil fried rice are good. Can visit for sure
Great food and prompt service!
A bit disappointed with the lack of beverage options. No Thai beer which is a must for me. Food quality was good⦠service average tho!
If ever youβve found yourself baffled by the fact that so many people like Thai food, enlightenment awaits you. Try their Panang curry and purge all doubt from your mind βeveryone could love Thai food.
I normally prefer yellow curry bc it is the sweetest and creamiest option. I have tried an untold number of Thai restaurants in Texas, Arizona, Tennessee and even overseas. Thai Bistro is the undisputed champion among all the Thai restaurants I've ever visited. I've had a Panang curry that was superior to the best yellow curry I've ever eaten, but even THAT pales in comparison to the Panang at Thai Bistro βhands down the BEST.
Horrible service. The waitress has no idea how to treat customers.
Deliciosa comida
Great service and even better food. Everything was super fresh and had that great explosion of flavor you are expecting in Taiwanese food! New favorite restaurant!!!
Great food, great service. Anytime Iβm in this part of town I go here. Very fast for lunch break, not bad prices. Highly recommend.
I have dined in your restaurant twice about a year ago and thought it was pretty good. I love spicy hot food. A little over a week ago I ordered 5 dinners take out for my Mom's birthday. I ordered the Beef Pad Pak #5 spicy. It had no spice at all and was very bland. My sister ordered the Chicken Pad Pak and said it had no taste. I just hope my Mom and Dad's Cashew Chicken and Basil Fried Rice was good as they are too polite to complain. My friend said dinner was just ok probably being polite. I feel like I wasted $94. βΉοΈ
Excellent food. Meats were tender and sauces delicious. We didn't have any complaints with entrees or appetizers. Service was quick and we got our food fairly quick too. Good Thai food.
What a wonderful little place. People who really serve and care about their customers. Great food, service and price. So glad I stumbled across this place today.
I was a little nervous as I typically donβt eat super spicy food. Iβm so happy a friend took me here. The Muay Thai steak was super tinder, well marinated, and quite unique. A bit pricey, but the quality merits the price. I look forward to experiencing more of their menu.
Pretty authentic Thai food with a good, layered flavor. Their curry is very sweet with the coconut milk, but still good.
So my girlfriend and I went for dinner here. It was her first time and my second, although I had ate at their previous location numerous times off Germantown Parkway several years ago.
Upon ordering i was surprised and disappointed when my waiter told me they were out of basil. BASIL?!?!
I ordered an alternate and my gf did as well since her first choice included basil. We ordered and our waiter came back to tell my gf that they are out of sprouts.
On a Saturday night a restaurant which many dishes include basil and to a lesser extent sprouts were out of both ingredients. UNACCEPTABLE. It blows my mind that the owner or a manager or a family member, friend, staff could not drive 5 minutes down the street to Kroger to buy these items.
That being said my alternate dish was very good and my gf enjoyed hers as well.
My only other complaint was the few gnats that were flying around our table. They had quite a few to go orders while we were there and I guess gnats are better than flies, but we both found it annoying.
Service was adequate. Perhaps they could invest in larger glasses so refills are not needed as often, but that is a minor issue. Our apps were fresh and tasty.
This could easily have been a five star review. Maybe next time...
FOLLOW UP REVIEW: Have been back twice for lunch since original review and my experience could not have been better.
DECEMBER 2021 REVIEW: Food was fantastic. Fresh shrimp rolls were FRESH...Coconut soup was probably the best I have ever had...Basil duck was tender and full of flavor...only problem was it all showed up at my table all at once. PLEASE work on your "pace of meal".
I got take out and the service was very polite and food was delicious. It tasted very authentic and fresh. Will definitely visit again.
Drunken noodles and thai basil fried rice are pretty good! One of the good thai restaurants in Memphis
Ordered online. Pretty simple process. Got there and picked up my food with minimum interaction with anyone. Food was ready and hot when I got there. I love spicy food. I get my wings extra hot. Spice level is 1-10. First time I got 8. Way to spicy to eat normally. I ate some the chicken out of it. So the next time I got 5.... Still was way too spicy for me. The flavor is excellent so I will be back. Gonna try a 3 next time.
Love it. The curry is heaven!....
I'm going to edit my review, this restaurant has gone downhill a lot since my original post. I'm including a photo because this is laughable what counts as a dinner portion. I've eaten at this restaurant plenty in the past so I know what the portion size is for supposed to look like and this isn't right. When I called the restaurant about it they said that this is the portion size now so don't waste your money. Even the lunch portion was greater than this in the past. Disappointed. 2 of these came to 40 dollars. Sheesh
FYI, if you want a good bowl of curry, with proper portion sizes go down the street to pho64.
Fantastic, delicious curry and pad thai!
It's a little pricey but the food was really good. I ordered online and it gave me a time for pickup. It was ready when I got there.
Great food. Service was awesome. Thai tea is fantastic!
Whenever I would visit Thai restaurants in the past, most of the food was either too bland or too sweet. So when I heard about Thai Bistro on the news, I thought that I should give it a try, especially since on that day, I wasn't able to pack a proper meal before heading to work.
So I bought their famous pot stickers online to go with my leftover spinach soup. I must say that for quite an appetizer, I wasn't expecting it to pack quite a punch when it comes to flavor, ha ha! I was absolutely pleased to taste that the curry was spicy, smooth, and sweet at the same time. As for the pot stickers themselves, definitely crispy on the outside and soft and meaty on the inside. Exactly the way Thai curry pot stickers should be!
While I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're looking to save money like I am, I will say that for the quality that I received for my take-out, the food at Thai Bistro is definitely worth trying, especially if you like eating spicy foods.
I can't wait to try some of the other dishes and drinks there! :)
Great food, but service could be better.
This place is amazing! It was recommended to me when I first moved here. It has quickly become a family favorite! Great atmosphere and even better staff!
The food tastes great, but recently I chose a 3 out of 10 for spice level after previously doing 4 and it being a bit much. Well 3 out of 10 was even worse!! I can't even eat my food, my mouth is in so much pain. Very disappointing that I'm in pain and out of a meal.
Fantastic food! Wish they were open for dining in. A favorite spot of my wife and I
Wow! The chicken pad thai, shrimp Tom kha and fried wontons were all delicious. My pickup order was quick. Loved everything about this place. Great customer service. We will be back!
Great Thai food
I ordered stir fry Pad Pak for pick up. They did not pack rice with the order, despite the fact that it was clearly on the menu. I called and they apologized but I was already home. So here I was with take out food, yet I still had to go to the kitchen to make rice.
I would say the take out portions are too small for the price. For $16, I was expecting a sizeable meal, but obviously I was disappointed it was just a little more than a lunch box.
The positive side is that the food tastes great and fresh. Be cautious with the spice level though, I selected medium, and it was still quite hot.
It was good jus becareful when they ask u how spicy u want it
Excellent Muay Thai beef!
Ordered and paid online, when I went to pick up my order they said they didn't have it. I explained I ordered online and the girl just then went to check. She said there was a glitch in the system and they just got my order. I couldn't wait 30 minutes for the order so I asked for a refund, so that told me I'd get my money back in 3-4 days. She couldn't even get me any receipt or proof that the transaction had been canceled. Terrible service. Now I am hoping that I get my money back in 3-4 days.
Excellent Food! Excellent Service! Very nice staff! Love this place!
Best Thai food in Memphis
Great Thai food, I really like their house rice and drunken noodles.
Thank you for working so hard during these weird times!
Where to begin.
I was super excited due to the multiple positive reviews about this place but was unfortunately dissatisfied.
Ordered an online pick up.
Came in, got my order, checked it and noticed the dessert wasnt there.
Went back in and told them my order was missing a dessert and that's when they informed me that they didn't have the ingredients to make it so they just left it out of my order and hoped that I wouldn't have noticed. Stapled the bag for "Covid" safety reasons and was handed the order.
I paid online as well for my order too.
After waiting for them to finish my the replacement dessert they then replaced it with burnt "beignet" bites w/ powdered sugar and chocolate drizzle that were mistaken for chocolate beignet bites when first looked at while leaving.
Got home and noticed the spice levels on our 2 noodle dishes were switched as well.
I was offered a free mango sticky rice (what I originally order and was charged for it not to be in my order) to be paid by an associate personally but I would rather leave this review and be done with it.
My advice. Make sure to call before ordering specific items or else they'll just charge you not tell you that things are unavailable and to also check your orders before you leave to make sure you are getting everything you paid for.
Food here is always great. Not sure what happened with the service. Understand restaurants are getting back in the swing again but yikes. Appetizer came to table 5 mins after the main dish, was told it takes a while to make spring rolls. Dining partners dish brought to table 10 mins after my dish.
Asked for iced tea refill twice then someone from kitchen came out and apologized said there was a big iced tea run, there were making more,, there was maybe 20 people in the place and all were not drinking tea.
Get it together please. Again good food - service not so much.
I always get the thai basil fried rice with all the meats and Level 7 spice. It is pretty pricey but very, very good
Excellent food served here! Love this place
First time eating here. Food was food and service was excellent.
The pot stickers and red curry chicken are insanely good from this place!
First time eating here. Good food. Good service and good prices. Iβd eat here again.
Absolutely great! Delicious food, good prices, nice staff and very clean. I highly recommend Thai Bistro!
Everything was great. I already canβt wait to go back.
Awesome Tom Yum Soup!
I googled Thai restaurants in the area and this place popped-up. This is a family owned restaurant. Everyone here is so nice. The food is awesome. I normally order the shrimp fried rice and the appetizer sampler. It even tastes good re-heated the next day! It has now become one of my go to spots for good Thai food! Try them!!!
Some of the best thai food I've EVER had!
(P.S. you'll regret asking for "Extra Spicy"π₯΅π₯)
Great food. Great prices
Great food and excellent service.
We love Thai Bistro! You canβt go wrong with the Thai Basil Fried Rice or the Tom Yum Soup! Arthur is very nice and he always makes us feel home! Highly Recommended for sure! π― π₯ π πΉπ
Great spring rolls, great service, good food, excellent prices.
My stop here was completely random. I arrived in Memphis a bit late, and the first place I went to was take out only. So I found this place just a few blocks away on Google.
The prices were fair, and the food was very good. I just wish my food had been a bit less spicy. I ordered a medium, but the food that came out super hot. I would rate it a 10 on a 1-10 scale with Thai hot being the only hotter option.
My beef salad "yum nah" was hot, it came out first, maybe a 8/10. I was surprised by the spiciness, but didn't specify a level on this dish, so I expected my main entree to come out less spicy. When my pad-see-ewe came out I was completely blown away. The flavor was great, but I couldn't enjoy the dish because it was overly hot.
This could have been some of the best Thai food Ive had, but my mouth was on fire, and I had to stop eating and take the rest of the food to go. My friends are surprised by the spicy foods I eat and this hit my stomach hard.
2 days later I was still paying for eating the rest of the plate later that night. I let the waitress know my food was overly spicy.. but I was only offered some water..
I've eaten at dozens of Thai restaurants, and ordered Thai hot many a time, and the heat level of this medium was more than most 10's and as hot as some Thai hots I've ordered elsewhere.
Not sure what happened with my food. I would recommend the restaurant because the flavors were excellent, but would highly recommend you be cautious with the spiciness level.
Very good food , nice service and clean. Prices a bit high for the area but the food definitely delicious and presentation is beautiful . I will be back.
First visit and will definitely be back! Really good food and service
An exceptional curry! I'll gladly return.
Great service,Food & Friendly staff
Love, love, love the food! Very nice, clean quiet place to eat lunch. Friendly staff. I visit weekly!
OMG!!! The best Asian restaurant in town!
Was good
Tasty and friendly place
My husband and I came here on a date night and it was amazing. The food was delicious, the service was spectacular, and the cutest little restaurant baby entertain us with her unicorn stuffed doll. Highly recommend that you bring your partner or love ones here for date night.
Ordered delivery via Doordash. Delivery was fine. Food was not. I ordered Massaman. It didn't have much flavor. No spice. It came in a container labeled "Pineapple Chicken" and the potatoes were almost completely uncooked.
Fantastic Pad Thai!!!!!
Good food
The best Thai food I have ever had! The ambiance is welcoming, every staff member goes above and beyond to make the food how you desire. I 10/10 recommended everyone to try this restaurant!
