I had the Pad Thai with Chicken and it was absolutely delicious. My friend got the Ginger Chicken. We were a little concerned but took the chance due to the waitress opinion. I’m not too fond of ginger. My friend told me to try it and I tasted it. It was delicious!! We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. And the waitress Anna was a very good waitress. If you haven’t tried this restaurant you should. I’m bringing my daughter back with me next time.

It had a good flavor but the texture of the soup was off putting.
This was a nice small restaurant with 5 tables inside.

Had the Tom yum and beef salad. I ordered the soup extra spicy and there was almost no heat. Only four tiny shrimp in two cups of soup. I ordered the salad extra spicy. It was not anything but sweet. Disappointing meal.

Always delicious, always friendly, the best waterproofing to get your toddler into food that isn't toast and fruit. Highly recommend!

This is a gem of a place. The food is an experience of delicious eastern flavor and wounderful food. While a small venue it's big taste makes it seem larger than life.

We loved trying this place that's new to us. The food tasted fantastic and was served fresh as it was made. The pace of the meal was a little slow, but the delicious food made up for it. Our favorite dish of the meal was the curry poppers. Delicious, flaky, and hot!

Ordered the Pad Tai for lunch. Waitress asked me did I want the lunch portion or dinner? I chose the dinner portion and good thing I did because it was very small for 18.00? The Pad Tai honestly was pretty terrible. Very small pieces of chicken. I had one scallion in mine… no other veggies? The Pad Tai noodles are different than any I’ve ever had there before ? Very chalky tasting sauce and not much flavor. What happened to the old Pad Tai? It has been excellent in the past and a large portion ? The staff were very nice! However, for 18.00 I expect more !!

This Thai restaurant is a gem! It's my favorite spot for Thai cuisine. The chicken fried rice, especially with extra egg and basil, is a must-try. Their spice levels are customizable, and Thai hot is truly spicy, about an 8/10 on the heat scale. The owner is incredibly friendly and hospitable. It’s a charming local restaurant that's well worth a visit.

Ordered the Pad See Ew to go. The person I placed the order with was very accommodating and it was done in 10 minutes. The dish was okay but I've definitely had better so I wouldn't order it there again.

Fire thai food and the staff are super friendly

Placed an online order at 6:00 for a pick time for 7:30. I showed up at the restaurant at 7:30, no customers in the restaurant dining by the way. The waitress said that the order was not ready. I checked back in 10 mins and she said it would be 30 mins. Her explanation was the online ordering system just sent them the order at 7:30. What is the purpose of ordering ahead of time? I asked to cancel my order and get a refund, and she said that she cannot do that, I would need to contact Shift4. What?! No apologies or accommodations offered. Worst service ever. Don’t wasted you time, foods not even that great.

It's a cute shop. Pad Thai was good, and they definitely nail the spice levels. But the portions are much smaller than I'm used to. The pad Thai was tasty but different from what I've had. But overall the waitress was lovely.

Amazing food, but the service could be a bit nicer. The waiter repeatedly treats us with an air of rudeness. The shop is a bit cramped and could use some updating, but hopefully this will come as they get more traffic because this place is authentic and taste great. Growing up in Hawaii and living on the west coast prior, this is authentic Thai food, and probably the best in the Summerville area. I’ve tried some other local Thai restaurants and none hold a candle to Pad Thai I!

The food is incredible! This is the only place I will order my Thai food from. Everything is made to order from scratch and is full of flavor! The curry poppers are so good and have become my go to appetizer. I highly recommend you try them, you will not be disappointed. The owner Niim is incredibly friendly and kind. The service is always excellent. I highly recommend Pad Thai I to everyone I know.

This is a favorite for my husband and myself. The Thai hot is not messing around (we usually do Extra Hot here). They are fast, friendly, and the food is excellent. Lots of flavors and many choices.

The best Thai place in Summerville. Me & my boyfriend tried the Thai tea, Thai coffee, chicken/beef pad thai, shrimp fried rice and chicken satay. All of them were the best we've ever had! We've been there three times in the span of 24 hours now, it's just so good. You can tell everything is made fresh and with good ingredients. We will be back and recommend you to try it!

Food was DELICIOUS! Staff was very accommodating to my gluten allergy. Our waitress, Helen, even wrote down all of the gluten-free options on a menu for when I come back! My mom and I loved Helen! She was so pleasant without being at all over bearing.

I always enjoy the food. Their chicken soup is my go-to food when I have a cold. I also love the pad prik dishes.

I use to workout at the YMCA and on my way there I’ve always seen this place but never went there! After 2 years I’ve decided to give it a try and let me tell you IT’s GOOD!!!! I got chicken fried rice with 2 eggs with basil! Delicious and just the right amount of flavor! The Thai sticky rice was pretty good but def not the best! Hidden gem! Nice server as well! The owner and chef def cooks from the heart!

I'm not usually one to write a review for places I eat at, but I was told about this restaurant from a friend and was blown away by how much I loved it. The basil chicken I ordered turned out great and was reasonably priced for what came out. Also, had a great conversation with the waitress which added to my experience. For someone who doesn't eat out often, I WILL be making more trips here to see what else the menu has to offer. Great food and atmosphere, absolute perfect experience.

My husband and I tried this place after passing by looking for the YMCA, and I’m so happy we did! This place is truly a hidden gem in Summerville!
This is a very small Authentic Thai Restaurant, so please don’t go in a rush expecting quick fast food service. The servers are awesome & attentive and will make sure you are good while you wait! But trust me the flavor is so worth the wait! Don’t fret if you don’t want to dine in or wait, you can order ahead for pickup & takeout!

Although it was just the two of us, we ordered a lot of food to try thinking that we’d just take any leftovers to go😅 We started with four, yes 4 appetizers. The Stuffed Shrimp, Thai Wings, Basil Rolls, and Crab Wontons it was love at first bite! Couldn’t even pick a favorite they were all delicious! Then I ordered one of the salads with shrimp (can’t remember the name of the exact one) the homemade spicy lime dressing that was on it was superb. It was the perfect amount of spice & flavor! So fresh and delicious that I literally couldn’t stop eating it until I finished the plate! 🤭 For our entrees I had the Basil Chicken and hubby had the Sweet & Sour Shrimp. Both came with a nice size portion of Jasmine Rice but we also ordered a plate of Shrimp Fried Rice all of it was absolutely stellar!

You could taste that the food was made with love and pride! We made it a point to meet the Owner/Chef Niim and she was so sweet, humble, and very appreciative. This is now our new favorite go-to place! They deserve all the awards! 100% Real Thai by Real Thai!!!

I don't know Thai that well, so take this with a grain of salt but this was a great meal! The lemongrass and the drunken noodles were both incredibly flavorful. Neither were too spicy, but the medium did get the nose running a bit. The crab wantons were also very solid.

I think what put it over the top for me was the service. She was incredibly kind, considerate, and was one of the best servers I've ever had. She alone made the experience wonderful.

If you can't tell though, this place is super small and has limited seating. So there's a great chance you won't get a table right away. Also the tables max out at 4 people.

I loved the Atmosphere! It smelled great in there and also the staff was sweet ❤️ the food was really good my only complaint was the spring rolls where a bit too sticky it probably needed less time in the water but other than that the souse that came with the spring rolls soo good. I would definitely come again.

Definition of a hidden gem. The food is delicious! It’s small. Like small small. Possibly 6 tables. If you blink, you’ll miss it. Worth a try if you’re looking for something local, low key, not a lot of fuss. Be patient with the staff. Food is worth it.

We had the best experience. The food was spectacular, hot, and fresh. The peppermint tea we had was very tasty and served in an adorable tea pot. I had the chicken soup (best Thai soup I’ve ever had) along with fried wontons and my husband had the Pad Thai. He said it was delicious. This might be our new favorite Summerville place.

I ordered pad Thai and asked for very very mild spice bc last time it was bland. I get home and cannot even eat it. It was incredibly spicy. I called back and she said well that is mild and the tree decides the spice. She would not credit me. My husband tasted it and he had a hard time as well. And he is used to hot spicy wings and food. Zero customer service. Will not be returning.

Tiny eatery but big on flavor!
There's only maybe like 4 or 5 tables inside this venue, so don't plan on bringing a big group. The food was great though, with it being cooked when you order so it comes out hot and fresh.
Our waitress was warm and friendly and made sure we were taken care of.

It's pretty run-of-the mill Thai food. Nothing to write home about but certainly not bad if you're in need of a Thai fix! Prik khing was a tad oily, but still tasted great. Was adequately spicy as well.

The place definitely seems like it's more geared toward to-go orders. The building doesn't have central air so I don't think I would recommend eating in in the middle of summer. Especially if you want your food spicy. You WILL sweat profusely! ☀️🥵🌶

The Thai tea had an almost salty taste. I did not like it. Lana Thai's is so much better. The fried rice was really oily. It was just okay! Probably won't eat here again!. Oan: the waitress was very hospitable and polite though!

Follow up review, came back and it is wayyyy better, the chicken is not dry and all the food we had was amazing. Although still not very spicy, I asked for Thai hot and it was not that spicy. Small hole in the wall type place, I walked over with my family and friends after going to the Farmers Market on Saturday, love how close it is to downtown. The food was good, flavorful and a nice portion to fill me up and bring some home for later. The dish I had with chicken was why I took a star off, it was dry and in large pieces that were not easy bites also their hot is not very hot, I think they gave me the “white person” spice level when I asked for hot. Oh darn.

Really decent Thai food for a smaller suburb like Summerville. Most people do take out here with the lack of seating, but the atmosphere is homey and makes for a personal experience. Jay is friendly and so sweet and helpful. They were also extremely patient with our energetic children; even brought out homemade potato chips. I got the Ong Bok—spice level was good, flavor and serving size were great. Crab wontons and egg rolls were excellent as well.

Highly recommended for locals and people looking for something different than southern/sea food downtown.

Experience was great. Food was hot and flavourful. Portions seemed normal until put on a plate, it was a lot. The chili flakes and their chili paste was the hottest I ever had anywhere. Thai tea was also perfect not overly sweet like most places. Will definitely be back. The staff was really nice and personable.

Very fresh and well made food. Especially enjoyed the fresh basil rolls. Best for carry-out but there is small space for dining in.

The price of Basil Eggplant for dinner is $16.99 plus $3 for shrimp. I paid $22.30 with one more bowl of rice. The shrimps were very small and 6 pieces. The price is so expensive compared the restaurant atmosphere and food quality.

After almost 2 years because pandemia , finally we were able to dine in this quaint restaurant. We are not into delivery or pick up so we were happy of dine in was back. Service was excellent a young waitress from Edisto. The food good as always. The drunken spaghetti was to die for. Kudos to this Summerville 👏 👍 restaurant.

We love this place! It's our new favorite restaurant! We come here once a week now and try different things everytime. Everything is so delicious. We have never once been disappointed. Everything is always ready when we come to pick it up, we've never had to wait, and is still nice and hot when we get home. Wonderful food and wonderful service!

How about updating your hours so that people don’t drive 10 miles out of their way to go to a closed restaurant? That would be awesome.

Don’t answer the phone, you place online orders and they cancel them 30 mins later. Very slow never busy…

My wife and I visited Pad Thai I tonight for our valentines night out. AND, we are so happy we did. We absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere! If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and give this local restaurant a shot! I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed.

Food was authentic, FRESH, crisp… all around awesome. This food will perk up your tastebud’s, in an amazing way. Service was fast, friendly, and made the experience better than we could have imagined.

It’s an extremely quaint place, everything was really sweet, i was a little disappointed in this place since i saw the asian lady in the back and figured the food should be pretty on point. Tom yum soup thai hot was more sweet than hot, and not sour AT ALL. my friend got sick and threw up for 3 days after eating a little bit of her food. her egg noodles were extremely sweet and oily with hardly any flavor. my pad thai was alright but definitely not like what i’ve had in Bangkok. Prices were rather high. the redeeming dish was the shrimp in spring roll wrapper, and the thai hot level of spice was great, my stomach was feeling the spice all night! The thai milk tea was so sweet i needed to add half a glass of water and ice and still sweet even after the ice had melted.

the server had to enlist the help of the owner who is also the only chef there (during lunch time) to help a gentleman who came in the get a gift card. Poor guy stood there waiting to be issued a gift card for about 15-20 minutes…

Beware when ordering from them on uber eats as they double there prices and the drunken noodles were 23.86 for a tiny portion and 14.78 for 3 small salad rolls. These 2 items came to 46.93 ! And I asked for no spice and it was very spicy !! Total rip off

Absolutely disappointing. Extremely small portions for $13.95, stingy on ingredients(especially vegetables), fried rice and noodles were swimming in some kind of cheap oil, and I’d describe the soup as dirty dish water. It’s been next to impossible to find good Thai food in the area, we were fooled by the 4.5 star average rating on this place.

This restaurant isn’t what it was 5 years ago, we’ve been loyal customers for 5 years . We ordered food tonight that wasn’t the right order . Nowhere to park going in to get our order because of the event going on . They want to argue with is about the order being wrong . She also said that she will make a even smaller portion for us because things are “expensive now “ . Wow this is a joke !!

The food and service is usually very good! I am guessing that I caught them when business was at it's peak. My order of thai chicken wings were not fully cooked. I called the restaurant to bring their attention to this issue and no one offered to replace my order or refund the cost.

Absolutely love the food! I got the cellophane noodles with chicken and it was de-li-cious! It was so flavorful and filling. Also got the egg rolls and salad for the appetizer and it was all amazing too, especially the kinda sweet tasting dressing in the salad. The establishment itself is small (it was my family of 3 and an elderly couple when we went), so it's probably better just to pick up and eat at home or whatever. Overall, would most DEFINITELY recommend, and will continue to eat there!

Normally I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE their food!!! I get the same thing everytime!!
Today I ordered my food and realized the prices had gone up which I understand with everything going on but my dinner portion was sooo small! They did not fill my container and there was NOT a lot of chicken or potatoes mainly broth. (Now I was noticing I was seemingly getting less each time, but this time it was so clear) I don’t have the heart to give them lower then 3 because they are truly amazing and kind but I don’t want to pay $16 for a dinner size that use to be their lunch size, even more so with having to raise prices. I really hope this is fixed.

My lunch order of Pad Thai today was missing a few ingredients listed on the menu. There were no bean sprouts, no chopped peanuts, and just three small pieces of green scallion that were over-fried, so the overall flavor of the dish was monotonous. Very disappointing.

I went for lunch yesterday. That was my first time. I guess you guys know what I had for lunch again😁😂 Definitely that good.

All I can say is wow. Excellent food and customer service.

Great little place for quick Thai takeout. Had it more than a few times and the food is always great. Be careful of your spice level choice, though!

Passing by and ordered food to go. We ordered spice level of 4 out of 5. But the food was mild. The food tasted ok.
The thai tea was too sweet and distasteful.
Service was good.
