I recently had the pleasure of ordering take-out in person from LemonTree Thai Cuisine, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The owner of the restaurant was very nice and helpful when I was placing my order, and she even took the time to guide me through the menu.

I ordered the garlic chicken and spring rolls, and when I picked up my order, I was impressed with how well-packaged everything was. The food was still hot and fresh, and it smelled amazing.

When I got home and tasted the food, I was blown away by the incredible flavors and quality of the ingredients. My husband and I tried the Lemon Tree this afternoon for the 1st time and it was an overall great experience. Super friendly staff and very flavorful food. It was packaged wonderfully (to go order) and we were able to assemble my husband's dish when we got home, so nothing was soggy.
We had the Tom kha soup, it was so flavorful, I'm a huge Tom kha fan and this did not disappoint. The pineapple fried rice with the most perfectly cooked vegetables and then the Mongolian beef Thai style. Husband said it was tender and flavorful as well. We will definitely return soon and highly recommend!

But sometimes I will get one of the noodle dishes, they’re also really good. The service is always A+ and the atmosphere is chill. The owner always makes time to speak with us, and she’s always friendly. If you haven’t tried this place check it out it will not disappoint.

We have been going to this place for well over a year because it's close to my husband's work. I don't know what they changed but the quality has severely dropped as of today 11/20/24. I ordered the massaman curry and it is completely different. They apparently stopped using sweet potatoes, and used regular potatoes which were just gross. They were mushy and mealy. The taste and color of the curry is also not the same. I get this every time we eat here. I don't know if they changed chess or what, but they need to go back to what they used to be doing because this new stuff is not it. I'm severely disappointed.

Food, service, and atmosphere have always been excellent and VERY clean! The owners/staff are always very friendly and helpful with trying new food dishes. I’ve tried things on their menu from the pho, fried rice, drunken noodles, and even the Thai iced coffee, all very good! Can’t wait to come back and try a curry dish for the first time, told the owner I’m not gonna try it until I have it from here first(simply because she is the best at explaining how the dish will be!) :) Definitely recommend as a favorite in Spartanburg!

Food Quality: Nothing worth highlighting. We ordered pho, fried rice, and chicken wing. We dined here a few months ago and nothing stood out to us.

Food Quantity: The quantity of each entree does not justify the price you're charged. They also have a self-service drink machine that has 'refills are not free' plastered on it. Again, with the price of the entrees and drinks, we found this to be odd.

Service: While the teenagers that served us were nice, they never left the front desk.

Return Gauge: Not for us. We haven't returned since our first experience here and do not plan to.

The lady running the front has always been nice and courteous. The food has always been real good and they even made a custom dish for my young son.

Delicious and very fresh food. The service was so quick, we hardly had to wait at all. A very kind family own and work at the restaurant. The recipes are from the mom. So many options, great portion sizes and very affordable. The specials ranged from $17-25, but most entrees were $10-$12. We tried the Ka Pow with fried tofu, and the Thai Lo Mein. So delicious my mouth is still watering hours later. I really appreciated the extra touch of wrapping our to go order in tinfoil inside the styrofoam to keep it warm, and avoid any spills.

Decided to give this place a try based on the reviews and the proximity of it to my house. The restaurant was clean and the front workers were extremely friends. I got the beef pho, and we also got chicken fried rice and kids chicken tenders and fries. I gotta say, they have about the best pho in the area, and I've tried just about every pho place from Spartanburg to Greenville. The lemongrass kitchen in Spartanburg and Mekong in Greenville are probably my favorite, but LemonTree is right there up with them. Broth was flavorful, plenty of noodles, and the beef was delicous. The chicken fried rice was also much better than the others I've tried in the area. My 5 year old ate just about an entire order himself. My daughter had the chicken tenders, and they actually hand bread the chicken. One of the ladies working the front came and asked if we wanted to turn on some cartoons for my 3 year old daughter which was very sweet. We will defintely be coming back.

OMG y’all. You’ve got to go and try it! I had the chicken pho. It was phenomenal and so flavorful! My friend had the garlic stir fry with chicken and that was delicious as well!!!! (I had to try a bite of hers.) They let you pick your spice level from a range of 1-10.

Their Thai iced coffee is strong and sweet without being overly sweet. The owner is extremely pleasant and friendly. My friend and I are deaf; the owner noticed us signing and immediately pulled out a paper menu for us to point to what we wanted to eat. Super easy to communicate with!

We just discovered this place this past Saturday, January 28th. Our first visit we had the Chicken Red Curry and “Chicken Amazing Curry”. We have ordered from them several times. We highly recommend if you love Thai Food!

We started with egg rolls and then had Pho. The Pho was DELICIOUS. So happy to have a new restaurant in the area. Everything was very flavorful. We would recommended this to anyone that wants to try something different. Great options for kids too (my toddler had popcorn chicken). The customer service also deserves 5 stars.

I think they do very well with take-out orders since we were the only ones dining in. But the food was great and the staff was very attentive. I think this will be my go-to Thai place from now on.
