Basil is my favorite special occasion restaurant! The food is always so good. Seafood soup is my favorite. We ended the night with a cup of coffee and the chocolate peanuts butter cake. John B took care of us and he was great. He even packed up all our left overs for us! Def coming back for the next celebration.

Diner Review №4

It's always great to when i eat here. Great service and food.

Diner Review №5

Have been wanting to try this restaurant the last few times I have been in town, but friends decided on another place. I am so glad this time I was able to dine here! Great Thai food!!! I had the Chicken Pad Thai and the eggs rolls for appetizer and both did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend trying this place out if you are in the area!!!

Diner Review №6

Ordered take out. Manager was super friendly guy. Food was delicious. Tom Ka was reminiscent of my walk about in Thailand.

Diner Review №7

Amazing food and great dining experience!

Diner Review №8

We went here on NYE and had a great dinner.
The food was delicious, and the service was good.
A bit in the spendy side, but worth it.

Diner Review №10

Ordered from Unber Eats as I have done in the past. Unfortunately, this time I was extremely disappointed. Part of my order was left out and most importantly the order that I did receive wasn’t cooked as ordered. Called the restaurant to provide feedback and the person I spoke with didn’t seem to care. BEWARE!

Diner Review №11

It’s great but expensive!

Diner Review №12

Stylish great atmosphere center of downtown. Love the food the duck pho was absolutely tasty and the fried shrimp appetizer as well! Will definitely come back again. Food is amazing.

Diner Review №13

Seafood dish was amazing!

Diner Review №14

Wasn’t good for me

Diner Review №15

Nice greeting upon arrival. I was seated immediately. My waitress Annel, was awesome. I asked for some recommendations, and she was spot on. She said the soup, Gai was what she liked. So I got that. And the curry was the Panag. Nice, a bit thick so it would stick to the rice.
It took me longer to look at the menu than it took to get my food. They were quick. The place was full and very busy. Even so, the service was quick. Everyone was checking on the customers. Very attentive.
The place was nicely lit. They had a TV. Nice place.
The food was awesome. The taste was better than expected. I got medium heat and that was plenty. I also got some chili paste j.i.c. I did use a little. You have a great place here. I will definitely be back, next time I'm in town. Highly recommend this place. You won't be sorry.

Diner Review №16

ordered take out. this restaurant is a rip off. miniture proportions and prices way to high. very disappointed. basil roll was all rice with a sliver of shrimp. Wtf. do not order from them. rip off

Diner Review №17

I visited the location in Charlotte and I really liked the Lichee martini there but in the GVL location tasted like medicine a lil disappointed by that but the food was delicious.

Diner Review №18

The soup was good! The atmosphere was pleasant to where you could listen to the tables conversations without raising voices.

Diner Review №19

Diner Review №20

Save yourself some time and money and go to Tuk Tuk Thai or any of our other local Pho restaurants. Food was decent but only when fresh - heated up the leftovers next day and they were barely edible. Service was awful and apparently based on other reviews it’s their trend now.

Diner Review №21

Nice thai place, dog friendly as we sat outside. Food was delicious, I asked for hot and it was more medium. Server was excellent and we were well looked after

Diner Review №22

We stopped in for lunch. The servers were prompt with refills (tho, like most restaurants in the south, the soda was a little "flat"). It was clean and had a good vibe. I will be back!

Diner Review №23

We stopped by last night for my birthday, and it was a mistake. The food was excellent, but the service was horrible. We got waters right away, but had to have someone track down our waiter after a good 15 minutes just to order our drinks! He said he didn't want to interrupt. And then apparently hid in the kitchen. I don't even know what his name was, what the ingredients in the table were, if there were specials, etc.

Drinks were a problem too. The "old fashioned" was basically just whiskey with a hint of flavor, and the original drink we wanted from the menu couldn't be made because they didn't have the ingredients. That were on their menu.

What an awful experience, so disappointed.

Diner Review №24

EXTREMELY forgettable pad Thai with chicken and shrimp (standard option, no up charge) costs $24.50. Serving size was tiny. Almost like one of those side bowls you get at a Chinese takeout place. This is just blatant overcharging for average Thai food, at least give decent sized portions if you’re charging “refined Thai” prices. Straight rip off.

Diner Review №25

Absolutely terrible - wish I could rate negative numbers. Don’t waste your time. Had delivery - 2 pad Thai, basil rolls and a basil fried rice. All four items were terrible quality. Both pad Thai dishes were ordered as chicken and shrimp - neither had shrimp and both had maybe a small handful of chicken and very little vegetables. The take away dishes were only 3/4 full and no sauce - very dry. The basil fried rice was overcooked and, again, very little chicken or vegetables. Basically all three $20+ dollar dishes were mostly dry or overcooked noodles/rice. Basil rolls, had one small piece of shrimp and also were made to look bigger, filled with a bunch of rice noodles. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

Diner Review №26

First time going here after it being suggested by a few people. Got the Pad Prik with chicken, beef and shrimp 🔥

Diner Review №27

Basil Thai has such good potential. The food and atmosphere are great. Unfortunately the service we recently experienced was very bad. It was only 2 of us and our server greeted us 10 min after we sat down. We clearly had plenty of time to look over the whole menu. He only came over to pour us water and walked away. I saw he had a party of about 8 people next to us. He could have simply asked us if we wanted other beverages or an appetizer, which we did. Instead he walked away and went back to his party of 8 and they wanted an appetizer and all separate checks. He clearly didn’t know how to manage his time. After sitting for over 20 min with only water, we decided to just walk out of the restaurant. Very disappointing experience all because of the service. I hope Basil Thai can do better with their servers.

Diner Review №34

Basil was recommended by friends, and we're thrilled they did. Every dish was light and fresh and flavorful. Our server, Kathy, was a delight. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Diner Review №35

The food, atmosphere and service was superb! The Thai Chicken wings and rice is a great choice, there are vegetarian options. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining. They welcome furry friends for outdoor dining.

Diner Review №36

Our party of 7 included an infant. Service was excellent. John was our server and he went above and beyond to take care of us. Food was delicious as always. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №37

Great local but my goodness the food was flavorless. The spring rolls were mostly rice noodles. There were 3 of us in our group and we all said it was supremely overpriced and disappointing.

Diner Review №38

Let's start with VERY AMERICANIZED but also delicious.
Cons..flies everywhere and they don't take into consideration they are flying and landing on everything! The out in the open silverware and unused cups! This was not the worst experience but certainly wasn't the greatest. Service was so, so.

Diner Review №39

Best food I’ve had in awhile! Can’t wait to go back during my next visit to Greenville.

Diner Review №40

This restaurant is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I apologize for not taking any photos , I was way too busy enjoying the meal and creating small talk with the super quick and sweet waiters. Such a friendly environment. I 100% recommend!!

Diner Review №41

So good! My expectations weren't super high, but the dining room is very nice and my massaman curry was exactly what I wanted - the chicken was thinly sliced, and the spices are perfect. I don't know that I'd call it a true Thai restaurant - you can't really adjust the spice level, though I suppose you can ask to make it spicier if you like. Our server (Devon, I think?) was quick and helpful and we had a very nice meal. I'm glad it was open on a Sunday night!

Diner Review №42

Authentic taste of food with good service.

Diner Review №43

Our waiter had no personality whatsoever and her was nonresponsive to any of our requests. This was our 1st last time ever visiting this restaurant.

Diner Review №44

Basil Thai offers an enjoyable dining experience with very good food and a good atmosphere.

The restaurant's rice, with its distinct smoky flavor, stands out as one of the best I've had at a Thai restaurant.

The service is prompt and attentive. I was quickly seated.

However, the prices may seem slightly high, especially when compared to other Thai restaurants in the city. While the food and service are commendable, the value for the price may give diners pause.

Food-wise, I would recommend the place for anybody craving Thai.

Diner Review №45

This is a review solely of the food as we ordered carryout. We ordered Egg rolls (spring rolls), Tom Kha Gai, Pad See Eu, Masaman Curry and Chicken Satay for a total of $93. Even disregarding the hefty price tag, this food was flavorless. The Tom Kha was the real standout in the bland Olympics that was this meal; chewy, dry chicken despite being in soup. Most of it ended up down the drain. There are better, cheaper and more authentic Thai restaurants in town: go there instead.

Diner Review №46

Worst thai food I have ever tasted 😩

Diner Review №47

Basil Thai restaurant in my opinion is very ‘Americanized’ and the fact that they have asked if we would like chopsticks (we are at the Asian restaurant after all) confirms that. I guess since it is in the heart of Downtown, the prices are super high, but I think our dining experience didn’t feel like an expensive restaurant to justify it nor did it feel like authentic Thai. But the service was friendly and quick.
I had to remove an additional star for my review because the dining area got very smoky from the grilling from the kitchen, which made it uncomfortable and almost hard to breathe. I suggest that they invest in better vent system for the kitchen area.

Diner Review №48

Very fast lunch service! Great food!

Diner Review №49

Probably one of my fav places in Greenville! The shrimp wontons are so delicious! The soups, you HAVE to have a pear martini! And ofcourse the Pad Thai. I haven’t had a bad meal here. Our server was kind enough to comp a key lime pie for our anniversary and it too was delicious!

Diner Review №50

Great experience here! Food was great and the service was top notch. I will definitely be back.

Diner Review №51

Smaller than expected but the service and food will make you forget about that. We were sitting kind of close to the table next to us but in the upstate of sc you know you’ll run into friendly ppl before you run into rude folks. So we got some friendly conversation with out great service and food. Nice place to eat after walking around downtown either after a day out with your person or with the family.

Diner Review №52

Delicious!! Have been to the one in Charleston and am happy to have finally gotten to try this one. We had the Red Curry Duck at both, but we felt like in Charleston, they kept the sauce on the plate and let the crispy duck rule the day!!! Here, the sauce was placed over the duck, and while still extremely extremely good, you just can't beat that duck when it's the star!! Would totally get again sans curry coverage!! Also had the pad see ew (recommend), and basil rolls. Everything was spot on. Service was good, attentive without being rush! Recommend!

First visit to this restaurant. Service was sub par - food was overcooked.

Diner Review №61

Possibly the worst Thai food experience we’ve ever had. Dry. ZERO spice for pad Thai ordered medium spice. Skinny noodles with NO flavor and yet the most expensive we’ve had to date. Our waiter had no personality but was decent. Won’t be back. I highly recommend NOT going. Location is good for 1 star.

Diner Review №62

Great food. Great service

Diner Review №63

Had vegetable fried rice and it was fantastic!

Diner Review №64

This place is amazing! Their food and cocktails provide an amazing dining experience.

Diner Review №65

Basil Thai Cuisine in Greenville, SC, has earned a place in our hearts with its authentic flavors. Tucked away in downtown Greenville, this restaurant serves up some of the best curry we've ever tasted. Their Vegetable Delight is a fresh, vibrant dish that's a feast for the senses, and the Lychee Martini is the perfect complement to the meal. Coupled with exceptionally friendly service, Basil Thai offers a delightful dining experience we highly recommend.

Diner Review №66

We went for dinner with a group of 6. I dont like any spice, usually not an issue at thai place because I ask for zero spice. My dish was so spicy I could only take 2 bites. Otherwise the service was great and if you enjoy very spicy food, you will enjoy the food here.

Diner Review №72

We are Thai food lovers, every trip out of town we try Thai at least once. We ate lunch at Basil Thai on 10/18. My partner had Pad Thai and it was very good. I ordered drunken noodles/pad kee mao. The only plus is they used fresh wide rice noodles in the dish. So many restaurants use the dry stick noodles for the dish, It’s not nearly as good. There was too much vinegar in the dish. I ate it because i was starving but it was barely edible. It also had very little basil in the dish. If I’m ever in Greenville again I might consider giving it a 2nd try. The server was good and I liked the modern classy atmosphere.

Diner Review №73

Delicious!! I'm an adventurous eater, and I'd never had Thai food before. The Pad Thai was very good. It was recommended to me by our dinner companions and others. The server was very pleasant and professional. It was a busy Saturday night, and we were a party of 10. She was great. I wish I could remember her name and give her personal recognition. The fried wontons are incredible. The drinks were well made, and the portion size is large. Had to take quite a bit home. Reservations recommended.

Diner Review №74

Extremely disappointed. I paid $20 for the pad see ew lunch “special”. Opened an almost empty box, stirred it around to see 4 pieces of broccoli….will not be returning

Diner Review №75

The food and service was very good. A bit overpriced but reasonable for a special occasion.

Diner Review №76

Delicious Thai food. Enjoyed the panang curry with tofu & broccoli yet a tad on the pricey side IMHO

Diner Review №77

The service was very good. I can not say much about the food. The Panang Curry (red curry on the menu) was way too salty, I could taste some of the curry spice, but the overall flavor of the dish was definitely not there. red curry should have a curry, spicy, and slightly sweet taste from the coconut milk. Unfortunately, it was not there. The Thai ice tea was too light, and the flavor was flat. Thai ice tea should have a bold, deep reddish color that is not transparent while looking through the glass. Into this is added evaporated milk and Sweetened with sugar. The price for an appetizer, two red curries, and a pot of hot jasmine tea, one Thai iced tea came out to $76.00. As someone from NY, I was blown away at the price. The same meal in NY would only cost $50.00. In my opinion, as someone who went to culinary school in NY and knows how to cook Thai, I have to say this is a thumbs down.

Diner Review №78

Came in with a reservation for six on a Sunday evening.. upon arriving and seeing the restaurant had only a few tables seated with all the outside tables opened, we asked if outside was OK.. the host was not happy we changed and let me know they had already set up our table inside and we need to tell them we want outside when we make the reservation. We'll I didn't know they had outside seating as it wasn't mentioned when I made the reservation. The effort in wiping and placing six silverware rolls must be challenging. That's all that setting up the table consisted of...we watched them. Our waiter then arrives and has zero personality. No greet no hello just straight into drink order. After dinner, he returned our credit cards/ bills to sign and walked away, never said thanks or have a good night. Just dropped them off and left. Six in our party, none of us will be back.

Diner Review №79

Diner Review №80

Diner Review №81

Very expensive but worth it.

Diner Review №82

Diner Review №83

Made a reservation but the host said she didn't have it... and didn't have enough room for us, so we asked to sit at the bar. The table behind us sat empty THE ENTIRE TIME we were there. We were only 3 people. It felt like the host was judging us. The bartender was very nice and she did a good job at least but the way the host treated us was so rude we won't be back.

Diner Review №84

I eat here several times a month and always love it! Highly recommend if you like American Thai (:

Diner Review №85

Diner Review №86

one of my go-to lunch and dinner spots downtown! it’s cozy and chic, the food is reliably delicious, and the service is always great. their massaman curry is one of my favorite dishes of all time. highly recommend if you’re craving thai or need a great spot for a night out.

Diner Review №87

A lot of reviews look fake, or things have changed over time. The portion size was very small. I was charged extra twice for "additional vegetables" and my bowl was only half full when it arrived. Without those "extra vegetables" the bowl only contained 4 tablespoons of curry for $22.
There are better Thai restaurants outside downtown. Skip this.

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

Amazing food. The food here is one of the best in Greenville. Won't be disappointed

Diner Review №96

2 stars for location. Not a fan of there food

Diner Review №97

Sad to say I have to change my review for Basil, after several visits today is the worst. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLEASE. It's completely changed. The service is horrible and the attitude especially from the hostess is RUDE and the so called manager was no help at all. This is the kind of establishment you wish will go out of business. As for me and my family we will NEVER go back to this trash place again

Diner Review №98

We dined with a large party and we're well taken care of. Food was great!

Diner Review №99

Diner Review №100

Basil Thai is located in the Greenville Downtown. Convenient location as it's right next to the parking spot.

Staff is very welcoming, service is amazing. When asked even hot water was served with a lemon instead of a cold water. Waiter was amazingly thoughtful to keep a hot water jar to keep refilling our cups.

They have a lovely menu options to choose from! We ordered Vegetable Green curry, and Pad Won Sen. You can ask to adjust spice level. Both were so delicious!! Especially Pad won . We would definitely like to go again and try different options too .

Overall atmosphere was quite nice, relaxing.

This is a great downtown spot. Prices are a little high for what you get, but the food is great.

Diner Review №104

The food is good, if they are ever open. I have tried to order pick up multiple times in the past few months and I am met with a recording stating they are closed.

Diner Review №105

Excellent Thai food. Service is usually slow and non energetic, atmosphere is okay with seating outside and close than I like tables inside. Highly recommend if you are craving thai.

Diner Review №106

Basil Thai is great Thai food with generous portions. The atmosphere is elevated making it great for a business lunch or date night. I enjoy their Pad Thai and Massaman curry. I am obsessed with their chicken coconut soup. Obsessed. It’s also conveniently located downtown Greenville near public parking and local shops.

Placed a Togo order, specifically asked for no veggies in the rice. The total for this was over $50. Not worth it at all. I won't be going back here.

Diner Review №116

We stumbled across this amazing place this evening… we found it before they opened but were lucky to be greeted by the owner as we walked past. I had long been looking for a new Thai restaurant that served a personal favorite of mine, nam sod. We asked if they served it and to our delight THEY DO! We walked around a bit while waiting for them to open and had some drinks across the way. Upon our return the owner greeted us and ensured our experience was as pleasant as possible. Our server was lovely and attentive. The food… better than we were hoping for. We WILL be back!

Diner Review №117

Diner Review №135

Gross. If you liked this restaurant you must have never had thai food. Must be catered to people in the south. Service was subpar. No, I will not contact you.

Diner Review №136

Went here for lunch friday with some co-workers..i had been meaning to try this place for some time and hadnt been able to. I got the chicken and shrimp pad thai and that was probably by far the best pad thai I've ever had. I'll be back to try the Pad-See-Ew next.

Diner Review №137

We live in the Charleston area and go to the Mount Pleasant Basil often. This one was really good, just not as great as Mount Pleasant. My daughter got the fried rice which we've never had. It was yummy and full of vegetables. We took the leftovers and we all ate rice the next night.

Diner Review №138

Excellent food and service..

Diner Review №139

Dined in for our anniversary and had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and provided helpful menu suggestions when asked. The food was fantastic. We will definitely visit again.

Diner Review №140

Reasonably priced and a friendly, clean place for fresh Thai food. The staff is welcoming and hospitable. The town does not have a lot of choices for Asian cuisine so definitely a great stop if you’re looking for something different.

Diner Review №141

🌿Amazing Thai Food in Greenville🌿

If I had to convincingly summarize how good Basil Thai Cuisine tastes, I'd say: Even the person in my group who didn't like Thai food loved it! (In fact, they called it one of the best meals they had in Greenville.)

Basil Thai Cuisine carries an immersive, minimalistic environment; quick, friendly service; and flavorful food.

I treated myself to the best fried rice dish I've ever had. Be sure to take your generous pick of the appetizers as well. They're great for sharing and prepping your taste buds for the deliciousness to follow. The Fried Wontons and Egg Rolls hit the spot for my party of five. (Don't forget to dip them in the sauce!)

One word of caution: the spicier dishes can be *flaming hot*, so consider your tolerance before ordering (or request that the heat be minimal, if possible).

Even if you're not a big fan of Thai food, you'll likely be impressed with the quality, freshness, and variety offered by Basil Thai Cuisine. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be making another visit.

Diner Review №142

Service is always 10/10!

Diner Review №143

Diner Review №144

Downtown location of restaurant. As with the original location, food was good, so was service. Place was clean and resonable prices. We're putting this restaurant on our downtown rotation.

Diner Review №145

Great atmosphere. Sadly they were out of items we were really interested in. Dishes we did have were very well executed and tasty.

Diner Review №146

Soups we're outstanding but, the entrees we're too expensive for the avg. quality we received. And to our surprise the chicken was somewhat tough in the Pad Thai dish.

Diner Review №147

Was looking for a nice place to go with my friend to celebrate my birthday. Decided to go downtown for Restaurant Week. Basil Thai had a very nice 3 course meal for $30. I ordered the crab ragoons for appetizer.. Pad Thai for entree.. And Chocolate cake for dessert.. My friend ordered veggie egg rolls for appetizer.. Basil Thai with tofu for entree.. And coconut cake for dessert.. The food was wonderful.. I had enough for lunch the next day. The server was very friendly.

Diner Review №148

Love the atmosphere of this place, everybody was super nice and accommodating. Food was also very delicious. Would recommend!

Diner Review №149

Diner Review №150

The waitstaff was really good and helpful about answering questions about the food. But the food was horrible. I had chicken fried rice. A huge portion of rice with very bland chicken and canned peas and carrots as the vegetables. Yuck. I won't be returning.

Diner Review №151

Diner Review №152

We are huge fans of Thai food in my family and have tried many restaurants from all over the country. This has to be one of the worst. The pork is over cooked and as dry as a cotton rag in the desert. The pad Thai was almost flavorless, unless you think sugar should be the dominant flavor.

We would have told the server, but we pretty much were left to our own devices until the server came around at the end of the meal to ask if we needed boxes. Not to mention how long it took to get the drinks to the table.

All of this for roughly $20 a plate. Those are west coast prices for food that is little better than what you get at the mall. Honestly, I think mall food tastes better.

I’m giving two stars for the atmosphere alone. Seems like a nice place for a date. But not the best place to introduce someone to Thai cuisine.

This place is amazing!

Diner Review №158

I’m pretty disappointed but not too surprised. I ordered the green curry to go and it’s inedible. It’s not even green. More of a milky white, like someone forgot to finish making it. Not only was it bad, it was overpriced. $22 for the curry and a side of rice. It seems like every time I give Basil a try the quality gets worse and worse. I only ordered it today because Siren Thai was closed. Even though the staff is always friendly I just won’t go back. It’s not worth it.

Diner Review №159

Not impressed, very forgettable. Dull flavor in the pot see ew, and it was $20. Crab wontons were $11 and also dull and forgettable. I dont need to eat here again.

Diner Review №160

Good thai food at an affordable price located in downtown Greenville. They don't take reservations but we didn't have to wait for a table once we arrived. The restaurant was pretty crowded but service was still prompt and the server, Ed, was very friendly. There was great flavor on my basil mixed seafood dinner and the calamari wasn't chewy, as it often is, at some other spots.

Diner Review №161

We went for dinner on Saturday evening, there was no wait. The server was super friendly and helped us choose from the menu. We had red Thai curry with chicken and fried rice with chicken. The chicken was undercooked in both the dishes, it was too chewy. The menu felt on the overpriced side, almost $20 for fried rice with chicken, however the portion size was good. The place is in downtown and the ambience was excellent too. Just that the food could have been better. There are better Thai places in Greenville and Spartanburg too.

Diner Review №162

Diner Review №165

Great pad Thai and amazing vegetable fried rice

Diner Review №166

Service and cleanliness were a 5 of 5. But the flavor and spice of the food was very much below expectations. I used 3 cups of the “chili paste” and one cup of powder and it was more like adding medium heat salsa.

Disappointing, but maybe it was just an off night.

Great service and good food. Really nice table view outside

Diner Review №169

Convenient for downtown Thai cuisine but not as tasty as others in the Greenville area

Diner Review №170

When I walked in to order a take out at the hostess desk I asked 2 dishes that she would recommend her answer was Steam Vegetable and Meat, and or fried rice. I appreciated her honesty as she said she eats very basic food but in the recommendation department she failed as I was looking for Thai food. My personal opinion fault lies with the management as they failed to properly train the hostess. She does not need to eat spicy food but she needs to know what she is selling again management fault and not that of the hostess.

1.) Chicken wings, Ordered Crispy red curry duck with Chef's special sauce, Masaman chicken curry and Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp and extra rice
2.) Fried duck and sauce was served separately I have never seen this in any other Thai restaurant. Flavors were there but I was surprised that they were served separately
3.) Masaman chicken curry and Pad Thai had Thai flavors
4.) Food is not extra ordinary or will satisfy your Thai food cravings but it will deliver sort off if you have Thai in you mind

honestly this place is not worth the price. although the staff was friendly, the food took a while to come out, and honestly did not taste very good. i got the pad thai with noodles and chicken. it smelt funny and the chicken was undercooked and chewy. my boyfriend got the duck and he didn’t enjoy that either. i definitely will not be returning

In my past experiences mainly going to hole in the wall smaller thai restaurants (which have the authentic foods), I was very skeptical about this place since it was a fancier Asian place. But after trying the food, there was no reason for me to be skeptical at all! The food was amazing and the portions were huge for the price. We got the pad thai, Tom kha gai (coconut soup), and the pad kee Mao. I highly recommend the Tom kha gai as a appetizer, it was very refreshing and delicious. Pair that up with pad kee Mao, and you will be very satisfied. Highly recommend this place!

Food was very much over priced for the quality. I was not impressed with the pad thai, totally lacking in balance and toppings. The best thing about the resturant was the service, staff was quick to fill glasses and asked us several times if we needed anything.

Love going to this restaurant my wife and I sit at the bar and absolutely enjoy Sarah she is the best bartender we ever met in my life .

Diner Review №181

Food was absolutely delicious. For spice and heat lovers go for the thai hot!! Service was excellent and staff there are friendly. Don't hesitate.

Diner Review №182

Nice dinner. Waiter was disorganized.

Diner Review №183

The owner Kim and the service is so friendly there. The staff are excellent and we absolutely loved our waitress. She was so helpful our first time dining there that we came back again for another date night. We are vegans and we highly enjoyed our delicious meals! Definitely our top favorite place to eat downtown.

Diner Review №184

The food was nice, the wait time for my to-go order was 45 minutes but I was okay with that, I ordered beef fried rice and chicken satay. The chicken was a bit dry from being overcooked, other than that it was nice.

Soo good, table was all set for our reservation when we arrived and our server was so helpful and kind, despite it being such a busy night. Had the pad prik entree with thai chilis on the side, it was delicious. In case you were wondering the entrees come with rice and is plenty of food. We will be back!

Diner Review №187

Outrageous prices for a curry. Food was good, and I mean, I did pay for it in the end. If prices were more reasonable it would be 5 starts no doubt, but $22 for one serving of curry is wild.

Diner Review №188

Great food and friendly staff.

Diner Review №189

Very pricey compared to other local Thai restaurants. My pad kee mao was a lot sweeter than expected and the pork was real dry. Overall it's not my favorite but it's not terrible.

Diner Review №190

Food was amazing and was at the level of spice that was described to us. I tried the lychee cocktail and it was unique and great! For dinner I had the Basil with beef at a hot (but not Thai hot) level and it was amazing! Great staff and manager as well, very considerate.

Diner Review №191

Food was very delicious and our server was friendly and attentive! It is a little on the expensive side, but overall lovely experience

Diner Review №192

Always 😋 delicious...I have also delivered doordash for Basil Thai many many times

Not only did the location make me feel warm, but the restaurant was very beautiful and the staff were very, very nice and it made me feel welcome. This restaurant is not only an amazing place to go on a date, but it is an amazing place to get some great fried rice/noodles. It is also a great place to feel full and happy while you watch outside at the people going by and feeling peaceful. This reasturant has great quality items, an example is the beef, which was my personal favorite item and other items too like the shrimp. But this place makes you leave happy and will for the rest of the day so I suggest everyone check it out as a date to go on with that special someone or to just have some great thia food.

Friendly, quick service. Had the Pad See Ew with chicken for dinner. Shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer. Solid downtown location for a quick bite if staying at Aloft.

Really enjoyable food options. My second favorite Thai restaurant in Greenville, SC.
Tom Kha Gai soup is a favorite.

Love the location, but the entrees are priced for the downtown crowd. Expect to pay a few dollars more than most other Thai restaurants.
Lovely interior decor, and the service staff is usually prompt and polite.
