I was going to eat at the restaurant next door but it was packed…so I ended up here and I’m so happy I did! The owner was so friendly and personable; even when it got busy he was still incredibly attentive and took the time to chat with people who were sitting and eating. The food was delicious and spicy, and the atmosphere was surprisingly cozy. I was just passing through on a road trip, but if I lived here this place would definitely become a new go-to spot. I felt very comfortable here as a woman dining alone. ALSO to top it all off a very kind man who was there to pickup his order ended up paying for my dinner!! Good fortune is bestowed upon those who eat here🙈
Looks to be a family run restaurant. Was skeptic on the quality of the food when entering. But it exceeded my expectations as the ingredients and taste of the E-sarn (eastern Thai style food) was quite authentic. Decor and service is like a no-frill restaurant. But do come here if you just want some good Thai food.
I recently dined at Thai House Restaurant and was delighted by the authentic Thai flavors. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced with sweet and tangy notes, and the Spicy Chicken wings was rich and aromatic. Fresh ingredients and vibrant spices made each dish memorable. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service from staff members added to the overall charm. Highly recommended it.!
The owner and his wife have a lovely restaurant with the best Thai food my husband and I ever had in the States. The husband was our waiter and was extremely observant as to our needs. He did not hover over us but did notice when we needed refills on our drinks and such.
I know that we will be back this coming week for another delicious meal. The food was cooked to perfection and I couldn't ask for more. I wanted dessert but just didn't have room for it.
Definitely stop in for a meal. The menu has many choices and you can order different types of spices like no spices to very hot spices.
I have to admit when pulling up to the restaurant I almost went somewhere else just because of outward appearance. I am SO GRATEFUL that I chose to stick to my original decision and give it a try. We were greeted by the owners when walking in and he and his wife were delightful and funny. He had a great sense of humor. I ordered the Volcano Fish with Hot level spice and a House Salad. The ginger dressing had fresh ginger grated into it and was nice and light. The Volcano Fish was yummy and delicate, not greasy and the spice was on point! My friend ordered Calamari and it was also not greasy and did not have a rubber quality that some bad restaurants have. She also ordered a Green Curry dish and the curry sauce I tried was killer for sure, in fact, I ended up finishing her curry when she was full. I highly recommend giving this small family owned Thai restaurant a try.
This restaurant is nasty. I placed a pickup order and there were MULTIPLE bugs in my soup. I went back to the restaurant politely asking for a refund just for the soup. Not the whole order. The manager yelled at me saying the bugs were “pepper seasoning” and stuck his fingers in the soup. They hide their kitchen for a reason.
Bathroom was clean, but very dated. Needs coat of paint. Hole in wall at first both and had contact paper on it to hide hole. Food was missing second meat, had to ask for it, charge for extra Sauce and soda started at $4.50 and he came down to $2.50 after much discussion. FOOD HAD NO TASTE OR FLAVOR, BEWARE. Only one customer came in we were there more than one hr. Eateries around tiah restaurant were busy, NEVER AGAIN!!!

I read the review, I had the Jungle Curry, didn’t taste good, very greasy and no flavor. Very disappointed! Would not recommend and the place needs a face lift.
Pay attention! Ask prices. Get your receipt.
Good food, pad thai was tasty. Wish they had more lunch specials

Good tastey Thai food. If you like it spicy, ask for Thai chilies in fish sauce on the side!

Food is awesome. The "to-go" guy on the phone is so rude! He told me "don't ask me what good, you place order an you see". If you can't ask the staff food preferences, comparisons, an entree details who are you suppose to ask? So rude an unhelpful. Should be more personable an friendly to customers. He acted like I was a huge inconvenience just trying to place a pick up order !
Visited the first time on 02/29/24 and WILL NEVER GO BACK. I was disappointed that the owner got over on me by charging twice for one tea pot I shared with my friend. My friend ordered the Jasmine tea which is $4.99 and comes in one tea pot which is way more than enough for one person. She shared her tea with me by asking for an extra cup. I was willing to split the cost. When we went to pay our bill my friend said she'll pay for the tea on her bill but when I went to pay for my bill he charged me for the tea too! If customers want to share they should be able to split. Or if you don't want to allow customers to split then tell customers up front, even if you share you will be charged as two! Owner just wanted to get over on someone!
My favorite Thai place! Delish every time!
Atmosphere okay. Owner wasn’t very friendly. Ordered the Todu mixed vegetables for lunch- had to get owner to put mushrooms in after I realized there were none ( that’s why I ordered it)…, they wanted $4 more for fried rice instead of white. Overall, not impressed…
My girlfriend and I were driving up from Florida, craving Asian food for the Lunar New Year. That’s when stumbled upon this place on Google Maps. I saw on review commenting that this was a little mom and pop shop run by this older couple. We decided to go. When we walked in, we knew it was going to be authentic from decor, menu and the TV in the back playing Thai music program.
We ordered the red curry and pad thai which were both fantastic. I conservatively ordered the medium spice level and wish I ordered the hot. Was not expecting the flavor profile for a place in this area. Definitely come through here and support this small business!
Terrible Place
Great local Thai place. Knowledgeable server and delicious food
The Thai house is one of my very favorite restaurants. It is the opposite of what you might call classy, but the couple that runs it are very sweet and the food is incredible. The flavors are very complex and balanced and I’ve never had anything there that wasn’t very good.
If you go, the duck and the tilapia and shrimp are my two favorites. Sesame chicken is excellent and the pad Thai and avocado shrimp are excellent also. I always get a Thai tea and calamari for an appetizer.
Ordered the Red Curry chicken and was excellent. That is my go-to Thai meal and varies so much, but this was truly authentic and perfect. Definitely coming back!
The red curry was solid. My whole group enjoyed everything we ordered and the owner was hilarious.
Good food
We just moved to the area and have been craving Thai, so we decided to try out the Thai House being that it’s the only Thai place around. We ordered our regular, Pad See Ew & Pad Wood Sen. We also got the Cheese Stars, and ordered another Pad Wood Sen to go. Service was great, but the food was very mediocre. The Pad See Ew didn’t have the authentic wide rice noodles that it typically comes with, and the Cheese Stars tasted like they were made that morning and heated up in the microwave. When we ordered another Pad Wood Sen to go, we ordered it with no vegetables because there was barely any noddles in our first one. It cost us $22 just for the togo (no protein btw) because “It was more noodles, and he didn’t know ahead of time so it was rushed so he added a rush fee..” Sir we didn’t say we wouldn’t wait for it? We will not be back, the price for very mediocre food was not worth it.
Spicy pasta was amazing! The owners/servers were really nice.
The owner is rude and just me and my husband both had a entree appetizer and sake and he gave us a bill (in his writing ) we couldn’t read but the price was 85$ WILL never eat here again
I would give a negative star rating if possible. The place and environment sucks! The owner of the place had such a big attitude and ridiculous behavior while taking our order. My friend tried to order vegetarian, and he did not even cook the food right! On top of that, he chargers more if you do not pay attention to your bill.
I've eaten there before and it was decent. It's been a lot of years since then though. Since they don't have a website and the link only goes to their FB page I decided to call to see if I could place an order for pickup since I really didn't feel like going anywhere and sitting down. So I called, guy said "hello?" . I asked if I could place an order for pickup and all I hear is him YELLING "something something PICKUP" and then slammed the phone down but didn't hang it up and could hear them talking and other noises in the background so I said "hello?" Many times for at least a minute before I hung up. I mean, they must be losing a good amount of money by not doing orders to go or for delivery... Pfft, I won't go back since there are plenty of other restaurants. I worked in restaurant fo many years and different kind of food and I know that Customer service says a lot about them and their business, as well as the quality of food. Just my 2¢
Food was excellent!
Had dinner there last night. So delicious!! Who knew you could find such amazing sushi at a Thai restaurant.
Definitely recommend. Every seat in that restaurant should be filled every night. Check it out!
I may be biased as someone who's been to Thailand twice and has eaten at touristy spots and super local hole in the wall spots in Bangkok, and Phuket...the flavor is semi authentic...the owner and his wife are nice enough folks and service is not bad, but the ingredients could have been more authentic and my main complaint is the price is too high for what you get...and the spring rolls were microwaved ones...not handmade...and you get 2 small spring rolls for $6...that's terrible...other than that it was okay, but definitely overpriced
..I'd consider changing locations so their rent isn't so high and they can charge a fair price for the quality and quantity of what you get...
Food is very good. The restaurant needs a major renovation.
Was really craving Thai on my long drive up from Florida and stumbled upon this place. It didn’t have the greatest reviews, but recent promising ones. Plus Asian restaurants get lots of lame reviews due to their nature.
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! I am a southeast Asian person and as soon as you walk in, you know this place is authentic.
It is quiet but the service is smooth and the food came out piping hot. Papaya salad was yum!! Pad Thai also delicious. Drunken noodles has the skinny noodles btw!
I definitely recommend this spot if your craving flavor and spice. :)
Clean place n food was delicious! Owner was very pleasant with our group of 8 ladies! We decided we would be back!
I saw lots of good reviews so I decided to get dinner at this place but I don’t know about this place - I’m here on a business trip.
I got Jungle Curry with shrimp and Fresh Shrimp Rolls.
They’re not bad but…
Fresh Shrimp Rolls are almost $8 (for 2 pieces). And they’re not one of those big Fresh Rolls either. One had 2 halves of shrimp and the other didn’t have any - might as well call it Fresh Veggies Rolls!
Jungle Curry tasted OK but very watery and only had 4 small shrimps and full of long uncut green beans and bamboo shoots. Very hard to eat.
Where I come from - medium to large size city in the Southeast - if you pay $13 for shrimp curry you get curry full of shrimp.
I almost gave this restaurant one start but the couple who run this restaurant were so nice I added a star.
Also when I got there there was no one in the restaurant - I know it’s a weekday night but the restaurant/beer bar next door was packed.
Excellent place for lunch; not super busy and food was really good. Sweet tea was amazing! Very unique.
This is authentic great Thai food
I actually come here several times a year in my travels. Food's pretty good and the guy is always nice.
This is the worst Thai food I have ever had. The chicken satay appetizer was not promising, but edible. But our noodle dishes were so gross that we each took one bite and decided to go eat dinner elsewhere. We tried to be nice about it, but the owner chalked it up to us “not liking Thai food” and still charged us for our uneaten dishes. We have eaten at many Thai restaurants previously, it’s one of our favorite types of food. Very disappointing.
Atmosphere is deceiving, the sushi is SO good.
AWESOME LUNCH
If I could give this place zero Stars I would I asked for see eiw noodle and got something completely different. The owner got aggressive with me and started grabbing my food telling me that I don't have to take the food and Throwing It All Around the table after I had already paid for it with his bare hands talking about how he gave me a discount and I should be appreciative... this so-called discount was $1 off and no clue why he even did that. I told him that the meal I had ordered never looked like that before and he just started yelling so I just wanted to leave.. not sure how you can run a restaurant like this for 10 years when the fabric is literally stapled around the whole restaurant and you're selling bottom of the barrel food like you ran out of everything that you needed to actually make the meals on your menu.
Delicious every time! And the owner is delightful.
Authentic Thai cuisine in an authentic environment. The was my first time coming in and I was thoroughly impressed. Have not tried the sushi yet, but will be back. Highly recommend.
Have gotten food here many times over the last few years. We're usually very happy with it. The owner is kind and genuine.
Lovely place with authentic food and great service. The prices are very good, too!

Authentic Thai food and atmosphere.
Absolutely bangin food. Very friendly owners. Will recommend this place any day. Great place!!! :)
We come here often and every time is wonderful. The owner and employees are all great people! If you like Thai food, come here!!!
Excellent fried rice and fried chicken wings!!
Good food nice people
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the different dishes we ate here tonight. We had both the fresh shrimp roll and fried shrimp roll. I had the seafood soup and my wife had the Pad Thai. Our experience from start to finish will have us coming back time and time again. If your looking for something unique and freshly prepared I highly recommend you stop by for a visit and experience this for yourself!!!
My favorite restaurant in Florence! Pad Seelew is the best! And Spicy catfish and spring rolls and curry and teriyaki duck and sushi and and and and.....
Great food and great service
Our family of 5 stopped here while traveling home from Florida. We had sushi, pad Thai and another noodle dish. All were super tasty. Establishment is old fashioned but the food made up for it. We tried all the desserts as well.
Food was excellent. Restaurant could use a little attention. Starting to look a little run down.
Went at lunch time, and it wasn't busy. I ordered a dish with cabbage, mushrooms, carrots and shrimp...which was...good. I'm a bit of a "foodie", so I wasn't overly impressed with the dish. I was hoping for a real authenic flavor, but I feel like I could have made it at home just as well. I will try it at dinner time with a different dish..it may be a one off thing. Hopefully I can edit my rating!
I ate here about 6 month ago when I was in town for business and the food was great then. Tonight was just sad. The rice was cold and tasted like it was several days old. The curry lacked flavor and veggies were super soggy.
This place was a very horrible experience. I have ate a lot of places from Miami to NY. And the ordasity of the waiter himself to say that "He will not cook it the way I want it"... And say I can't order anything else was beyond disrespectful. The tables were dirty when I first entered the restaurant and it was empty so there was no reason for the restaurant to look unsanitary. This was the worse Thai experience I have ever experienced. I would never recommend this place.
Based on the ratings, we assumed this place was a special spot. Friendly server, but the environment is run down and dingy. The food wasn’t good and the prices were high.
Delicious
I’d give it 0 stars if the site let me. I’m honestly not sure how ANYONE can recommend this Thai food place. The food was very disgusting. The white rice looked and smelled like it has been sitting in a rice cooker for weeks. Pad Thai was not even edible. Place was dirty. I should’ve trusted my first impression when I walked in, but hoped for authentic Thai. I’m just praying I don’t get food poisoning tonight, as my stomachs already bothering me.
Not busy ...table service and excellent selection but prohibitively expensive
I'm from out of town, working on city construction and let me tell you, this place was the RIGHT choice for lunch! The atmosphere reminds me of the Mom & Pop stores I grew up with and the food here is delicious. The food is every bit as authentic as I remember it from when I was younger and studied thai cuisine under a lovely, Thai grandma.
I eat here quite often, it's always good.
Loved it
Best thai food around. I highly recommend the jungle curry or pad thai dishes. Sushi is great too.
Fried ice cream was great!
Food was great !!
chicken pad thai watery with fish sauce. yuk. so disappointed after I saw good reviews, thought I found a good place while in town! I guess napping under covers on the booth seat should've my clue.
Best Thai food in Florence. 🍜
This is such a cute quaint resturant. I love the authentic food and atmosphere. The server is the husband and also goes and helps to cook in the back with his wife(I assume) he is a salesman. Lol 😆🤣 he will make you add the egg rolls.
I love thai house so much. The food is amazing (especially the sushi and papaya salad) and the owners are so kind. Please eat here of you ever get the chance, you won't be disappointed :)
fried shrimp egg rolls are always a must to start with. everything i’ve tried has had great flavor and the customer service is always kind. the coffee is delish as well.
This is the only thai restaurant in town and it is very good! The curry dishes are awesome and so is the tom kha gai soup
Delicious Thai food! Great spice level too.
A nice hole in the wall in downtown Florence! If youre in the mood for Thai, this a great place.
Great food and very personable owner. It's a joy to have good quality Thai food and sushi in Florence. Large menu selection.
Restraunt is not appealing and a large roach crawled across the floor while I was there. Would not recommend this restraunt do to cleanliness concerns.
We started with the cheese stars, which were very good, but you only get 4 of them. I had yellow of sea, which also was very good, but tasted more Indian then Thai and kind of pricey. They were afraid of my service dog, so we were handed our plates and silverware over my partners shoulder. In all the places my dog and I have been, we've never had that happen. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Not a place to go to all the time, but nice enough.
Incredibly delicious! I love the curries and the fried bananas! You MUST go here for Thai food!
Food was good but very very pricey
building very run down
Love it good people
Amazing hole in the wall Thai! The Grilled octopus was delicoius!!
We enjoyed our meals today!! Even during this quarantine time, this restaurant is making fantastic, delicious food!! Recommended: Beef Pad Thai; Pad Kee Maw!! Fast service!
Good food but very slow that night. He had only one person to help him
It was not busy at all this afternoon. Had a thai tea and the C6 (yellow curry) it was delicious. Also had spring roll appetizer and that was really good. Will definitely come back!
Come for the duck curry! Incredible flavors and a perfect sized dish. The decor is very nice and the waitress and owner were very attentive!
Great Thai food made by Thais!
This restaurant smells disgusting inside. I saw a cockroach underneath the table and my food tastes rotten. I immediately got sick when I took the first bite and had severe food poisoning all night. DO NOT EAT THE SUSHI. THEY DO NOT USE USE PROPER, SUSHI GRADE MEAT. A health inspector needs to shut this place down.
Enjoyed our dinner here tonight. Food is flavorful and delicious. Service is excellent
Good food, nice staff, "see you tomorrow!"
A family favorite! We keep going back. "See you tomorrow"
Best sushi in Florence. Hands down.
Disappointing. Fish was not fresh and visibly so, when I complained, the owner didn't appreciate it and just charged me for the dish anyway. Would recommend avoiding this spot if you're in the mood for some Japanese, worth the effort to go elsewhere.
The food is amazing! The customer service makes you feel like you're at home.
Best Thai in Florence.
The Best Sushi I have ever had. The Thai food is so very good. The owner usually is the waiter and is a great man. He is nice and appreciated your patronage. We eat there at least once a month.
