2025 update. Vegans and Vegetarians make sure you ask for no fish sauce because it's basically added to everything. Even if you say vegan you still need to say something because fish sauce is ubiquitous in Thai food.

The soups are pre-made and can't be customized to be made vegan.

Do not get caught off guard if you've been coming a while. They no longer offer refills on soda because they switched to cans.

Service isnt especially fast so alot enough time to have a meal.

Excellent! We love eating here! My 6 year old and 4 year olds love it as well! Great family outing for us. And it’s local and love supporting local restaurants! Highly recommend!

Diner Review №10

I ordered the Panang Chicken. It was very tasty had a slight sweet note. Spice level was perfect, subtle yet present. Asked for extra rice and they brought a giant bowl. Love the customer service. Would highly recommend!

Diner Review №16

My friend and I "discovered " this place. We both love Thai. The food tasted awesome! My friend had the bake and cook chicken. I'm not sure what mine was called, but it had a peanut sauce. Definitely going back!

Diner Review №17

Diner Review №18

Very fresh, very tasty! I had the Tom Kha soup with chicken and the Eggplant Dinner with chicken. Amazing, as always. Food has always been consistently on point. I have always eaten at the restraunt, I have never had take-away, so I don't know how that is. My husband had the Spicy Catfish, and I got to sample a bite. The flavor and texture was amazing. Very large portions.

Diner Review №19

Ate there for dinner last night. As usual, the food and service were great. What made this last visit disappointing is the constant clatter of noise going on all the time. A fellow had to move a large, plastic trash can on wheels from the back of the restaurant to the kitchen and kicked it along all the way through the dining area. The TV played soothing "massage parlor" type music but every few minutes, a commercial came on about, e.g., buying service from Verizon. A compressor near the front desk was making loud, non-stop mechanical noises. From the kitchen a lot of clattering and music that competed with the music from the TV.

Diner Review №21

The best Pad Thai ever!! We recently relocated to Greenville from Clemson and it is well worth making the drive back for a fantastic dining experience.

Diner Review №22

This restaurant is amazing! As a local, I can’t believe I haven’t been sooner but I will be a regular now. The orange chicken was the best I have ever had and the prices were stellar for the quality of the food. Spring rolls were also fantastic! I highly recommend!

Diner Review №23

Diner Review №24

Very good food. My wife got the chicken Pad Thai and I ordered the Yellow Curry with pork. Very flavorful and good portions. My son got the pad Thai fried rice and loved it. Definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

Diner Review №25

I came in on Sunday for a nice meal with family. Overheard what appeared to be management yelling/ belittling a server about something, ruined the whole mood. food was okay but the atmosphere was hostile.

Diner Review №26

Always excellent food. Friendly people. Comfortable atmosphere. Good conversation.

Diner Review №27

Very delicious Thai food! If you like spicy food, I recommend the Spicy Basil Noodles. They also have extra spice to add to your food if you need.

Diner Review №28

Diner Review №29

Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had(and I've had a lot!) Wonderful people, too

Diner Review №30

I love this little place. The pad Thai is great and comes with lots of bean sprouts. The massam curry is also very good. Staff is also attentive and polite.

Diner Review №31

Cashew chicken was very good

Diner Review №32

Pleasant lunch spot with great service and consistent food.

Diner Review №33

Our first Tia dinning experience…the waiter offered suggestions and when he realized we had no idea what we were ordering he had the owner come to our table to educate us on the cuisine.
Best Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had in my life and the yellow curry was perfectly sweet with a subtle kick. Will definitely be back!

Diner Review №34

Best Thai in the greater Clemson area

Diner Review №35

Delicious!!! The food and service was so good! Definitely coming back.

Diner Review №36

I’ve been here a few times and ordered the same dish each time. There was a bit of inconsistency and looked almost like completely different dishes. That said the foot was still fantastic and I’ve enjoyed each visit. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I’ll be coming back again.

Diner Review №37

Had a lovely time with my girlfriend at bake and cook. I ordered the ginger fresh with chicken and a hot level of spiciness. We both enjoyed it and will be back for another tasty Thai meal!

Diner Review №38

Had the Pa Ram tonight. It was wonderful. Will return again!

Diner Review №39

Been here three times. The food is solid but the service is lacking and is slower than glacial.

Diner Review №40

It's a good place for Thai like food.

Diner Review №41

Diner Review №42

We Love this place. Returning each time to try all the menu. Never disappointed. The food is excellent and the service friendly and upbeat.

Diner Review №43

Spring rolls are perfect, but even better with their homemade dipping sauce. The crab rangoons are made with rice paper instead of your typical wonton wrappers, which makes them delightfully crispy. I had the pineapple fried rice w/ shrimp entree. It was very good, but I definitely played it safe since I am new to the world of Thai food. Next time I'll be more adventurous 🙌

Diner Review №44

Their Chicken pad thai😍😍😍

Diner Review №45

I love this place! The food is very fresh tasting, service is wonderful and prompt. I loved the pad Thia and the crab Rangoon . I will be back !

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

Really good food-staples of any Thai restaurant!

Diner Review №56

I have been eating here for years, and the excellent food and service stays consistent. The mussamun curry is out of this world fantastic. Best Thai food I’ve had. Definitely the best place in the area for eating. Great prices and portions.

Diner Review №57

Great food

Diner Review №58

Diner Review №59

I love Thai food, and I have been very happy that we have an excellent Thai restaurant close to home. We would be regulars here just to save us from having to drive to Greenville. However, the food is delicious, and the service is really good!

Diner Review №60

We love the food!

Diner Review №61

Food was cold when it arrived at the table.

Diner Review №62

Always seem to be busy, and for good reason. A great addition to the usual dinner options, great to have something different and delicious.

Diner Review №63

best won ton soup I've ever had!

Diner Review №64

I have never left a review before but the takeout from bake and cook was excellent. Definitely the best asian food in the entire Clemson area. From the basil noodles to the curry and even the sauce served with the pot stickers, all was amazing.

Diner Review №65

Diner Review №66

A really tasty Thai restaurant. We had great appetizers (spring roll and fried tofu, both with interesting spicy sauces) and great spicy basil noodles, and pad see ew. I wish they had prik nam pla instead siracha sauce. But will definitely go back.

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №68

Authentic Thai food. Its as close as you can get to the cuisine in the area.

Diner Review №69

The food is always delicious!! Service was excellent

Diner Review №70

A hidden gem of the upstate. Contrary to the name bake and cook it's not a meat and three but rather an excellent Thai restaurant.

Although I've recently just found this restaurant and have not tried everything on the menu I can testify that the quality of the mango fried rice is exceptional.

Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

Diner Review №71

Saw great reviews and went there for lunch today. We got Spicy Catfish, Pad Thai, Crab Ragoon, and Thai Fried Rice. Everything was good. I love thai food so I go to Thai restaurants often, but this restaurant had the Best pad thai I’ve ever had.
————————
4 years later, we went there today for lunch. Everything tasted good, but rice was bad. It was cold and had some mushy clumps which tasted a little sour. That wasn’t good. Made me think that they used the rice from yesterday because we went there right when they opened. Broccoli also looked old, all yellow.

Diner Review №72

Best Thai food in and anywhere near Clemson

Diner Review №73

Diner Review №74

Great stuff, the spring rolls might be the best I've ever had

Diner Review №75

Great ice cream and friendly service. Great little sweet shop with lots of variety. Candies look like they are made from scratch. I didn't get to try any this time. Ice cream was delicious. Servers were very polite and friendly

Diner Review №76

Ask for 'Thai Spicy' and you won't regret it!

Diner Review №77

Diner Review №78

The food is always freshly prepared and they try to prepare it exactly as you like. We typically do call out and although the restaurant is very small, service is always good and restaurant clean.

Diner Review №79

Diner Review №80

Diner Review №81

Always a pleasure to eat here. Had lunch and ordered the egg noodle dish with lots of veggies (can't remember the name for the life of me), and the lunch portion is perfect for one person. It comes with a spring roll or steamed rice, and I always get the spring roll because they are delicious every time. The food always comes out hot and fresh, and is always seasoned to perfection. Our server was great, quick, and kind. A great restaurant for those who love Thai food and those looking to explore more cuisines.

Diner Review №82

Bake and Cook is my go-to restaurant when I have friends or family visiting. Their food is great, and I especially like the Pad See Ew.

Diner Review №83

This is my favorite Thai place. They have great Pad Thai and pineapple rice.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Most beautifully prepared foods served hot ~ friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere! My fav soups!

Diner Review №94

Great food and great service! We all really enjoyed our meals. Will definitely return!

Diner Review №95

There was a bug in my food

Diner Review №96

I had the red curry with tofu with jasmine rice on the side and Thai tea. It was awesome!

Diner Review №97

Good food. Good value. Unfortunate layout means most tables are awkwardly placed and drafty.

Diner Review №98

Diner Review №99

Diner Review №100

The restaurant itself is very quaint and cute. It's cozy and inviting, with plenty of tables. When I went, it was very empty, but I went during off hours for take out. Pay attention to their service hours; they're divided by lunch and dinner.
I was very excited to try out this spot, but I wasn't very impressed.
Their Pad Thai was a little too sweet for me. Their Tom Ka Soup was amazing though, and so I might be coming back for that dish alone.
I want to give this place another try; everyone else has been very pleased.

Diner Review №101

Great pad Thai! Dipping sauce for dumplings was bizarre, tested like molasses

Diner Review №102

Diner Review №103

Probably one of the best Thai food you can have in the Clemson area. But delicacy comes with prices, the prices here mean time. I suggest becoming one of the first customer when they open if you want to dine in. Otherwise, you may consider an average 30-90 mins waiting time AFTER you ordered.

Diner Review №104

Food was delicious. The shrimp in the mango fried rice were overcooked, but otherwise everything was tasty. Didn't particularly care for the order in which the food came out, which is very minor, and our to go order and check were brought out before we asked for them, otherwise, service was good. I recommend the fresh rolls and massaman Curry

Diner Review №105

Recently discovered this hidden gem, and I've had it twice once for delivery via (doordash) and another time for dine-in and both times the food was 10/10 perfection. When it comes to dining in the restaurant is a cute quaint little place hidden on side of main road in Central, the staff was super friendly and helped when came to questions about the menu. The food was cooked to perfection and I recommend everyone try their red curry at least once! Definitely found another favorite spot for my addiction to Asian cuisine!

Diner Review №106

I order from here a couple times a month and I love it! The Pad Thai is so delicious and never disappoints. This place is one of my favorites in the area! If you’re looking for good Thai food, this is the place to visit.

Diner Review №107

1st time eating here. They were really busy. Most people were picking up their take-out. Not very well organized. We walked in and it was chaotic. We weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. There were only two tables in the front. There were several lined up with junk on them and chairs piled around them.

I ordered the spring rolls and pot stickers. The spring rolls were good. The wonton part of the pot stickers was dry and chewy on top. It made them difficult to cut and eat. My husband got the Spicey Catfish.

Diner Review №108

I eat here a few times each month and have Literally have never been let down!

Diner Review №109

My daughter and I love this place. Lunch is one of the most affordable places around. The servers/ owner (I think) are always really friendly. But....the main thing is how delicious the food is. It's hard to pass by this place. Thank you guys. (My favorite is the spicy catfish,

Diner Review №110

AC seemed not to be working well. Sweating at my table. Lighting not good. Service slow. As a man passed me to go to the restroom, another customer yelled, "Grab some paper napkins, there are no paper towels in there." Menu was nearly unreadable, I think the printer was out of some colors. AC filter cover was dirty. The decor was so The food finally came, and looked fresh, but was not very flavorful.

Very good Pad Thai and spring rolls.

Diner Review №121

The chicken massaman curry is delish, service is a little slow due to only one server and I think just one cook also. Still great food but never enough help on hand!

Diner Review №122

We usually drive over 30 minutes to eat at Siam Thai Cuisine in Central. We have discovered that they have moved to the Walmart shopping center in Central SC. We went ahead and tried Bake & Cook Thai restaurant. When we walked in there was only three other tables that had seated customers. We noticed that two tables had no food in front of them and one table was complaining about how long they had been waiting for food. The waitress took our drink order and we went ahead and ordered our food. After about 25 to 30 minutes the other tables got their food and the only food coming out of the kitchen was to go orders. Another couple that had came in after us had already got their food and we were still waiting for a cashew nut chicken , and pad Thai plate. We waited for a total of 48 minutes after we had ordered to receive our food. Then the waitress asked if we wanted it to go since we inquired about how long it was taking to get food. I would expect to wait 30 to 40 minutes for food in Anderson or Greenville at a high end restaurant, but not at a hole in the wall restaurant with only 4 tables that had customers. The waitress apologized but said they were busy with to go orders. No apology from the owner or management. Would definitely be a one and done restaurant for us. I will definitely stick to Siam Thai Cuisine in Central.

Diner Review №130

Diner Review №131

Tasty food which was filling as well. It was graduation day in Clemson and had lot of people families who gathered for dinner. So, we had to wait a little for our food. Had Thai tea which was refreshingly good. Had pad Thai and curry. Was worth the food. Highly recommend to visit this local Thai restaurant.

Diner Review №139

Diner Review №140

We arrived at 6:37PM and we got our food at 8:10ish. The new waitress was super nice and kind but what made our experience worse was either the manager or the owner, I am not sure. Well, an hour after we ordered she came over and without any apologies told one of us that they were out of her dish and basically pushed something, rushing her to choose her item. Didn't offer anything to make up for the rude treatment nor a decent apology. The food was mediocre at best if you know Thai cuisine and it seems like they do not need dine-in customers. They have plenty plenty of to-go orders and appear to roll the red carpet to doordash or any other app. If you go inside to eat, good luck!

Diner Review №141

great chicken satay! I wasn’t feeling a large portion that day, so the satay with a side of steamed rice was perfect. my other friends enjoyed their food as well, multiple people said the noodles in their pad thai were fantastic.

Diner Review №142

I would give 0 stars if I could. The Manager/Owner was so cheap, we ordered a take out and she forgot to add Rice, when we called she kept on arguing instead of accepting the error and on top of it she was saying we were arguing for $2. The curry was all watery also. Please go if you want to be ill-treated and on top crappie food.

Diner Review №143

Good food and the Tom Ka soup is delicious

Diner Review №144

It was nasty,10.00
Look like left overs
4 little pieces chicken
If u only love noodles it's place to go...And please learn speak English if ur opening restaurant in USA

Diner Review №145

Diner Review №146

Very disappointed. I ordered the lunch portion of the pepper beef online, but was charged for the dinner when I arrived to pick it up. The portion was small anyway, and the sauce was no better than watery beef broth. Very disappointing.

Diner Review №147

Great food! Big portions and fresh ingredients

Diner Review №148

Diner Review №149

Best Thai in the area!

Diner Review №150

Diner Review №151

I'm going to be frank: the food was not worth it. Take the extra drive to Kannikas or Sweet Basil. Thai is my favorite food and this may be the worst Thai I've ever eaten. I ordered the red curry with chicken and tofu (I wanted extra protein) and my wife ordered the pad thai. I ordered mine hot and hers was medium. My curry sauce was almost water. It had minimal flavor and didn't warrant a mild rating. I tried the pad thai and was disappointed. The noodles were overcooked and lacked flavor. I couldn't pinpoint the flavor the noodles did have, but I didn't care for it. My wife said she liked it fine, but that the pad thai she's had at other restaurants were much better.

The restaurant was clean and the service was excellent!

Diner Review №152

I got takeout pad Thai and Tom kha Gia. It was all yummy but it wasn’t as flavorful as other Thai places. The pad Thai was honestly way sweeter than I expected even tho I got the medium. It could’ve had more ooomf to the flavor than just the sweetness. The soup was refreshing but still could’ve used that extra step of flavor. Portion sizes were large! I saw a review talking about portion sizes being small for take out but that definitely wasn’t the case for me. It satisfied my craving but will probably save my Thai cravings for Greenville next time.

Diner Review №153

Okay place, nothing special. Food is overpriced and not worth it

Diner Review №154

Diner Review №155

Food is good but far too expensive for the portion you get. The Thai hot selection is far from hot. I enjoy the food, I just wish they made it hotter and gave you more food for the money you are spending.

Diner Review №156

I really enjoyed my dinner this evening at the Bake & Cook Thai restaurant in Central. The menu was substantial and varied. Nicole helped me with some questions and took my order, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. They also do take-out. I’ll be back!

Diner Review №157

Such a delicious dining experience! The service is fast and friendly. We had curries and several types of noodles and were extremely pleased with everything. Our only complaint is that the rice portions with the curries are too small. We always have to get take-out so that we can make extra rice at home.

Diner Review №158

I’ve moved away from Clemson and am eating thai food from my new city. Every bite I take I think about how much I miss Bake and Cook. The pad see ew here has raised my standards incredibly high, and no other place can ever compare. I curse this place, for having the best thai food I’ve ever had. How dare you.

Diner Review №166

I ordered the pad thai spicy. My boyfriend got the stir rice. The takeout portions are very small compared to the photos posted online. This was probably the most disappointing part. The taste didn't really stand out like typical thai places. Had to add my own spice and soy sauce. The egg roll was pretty good. Wouldn't mind paying more for a real serving size though.

The pad Thai was decent and the orange chicken was ok. I have been there when they were on point but maybe tonight just wasn’t that night .

Diner Review №193

Good one , little far from Clemson.

Diner Review №194

Tofu Pad Thai was delicious and the staff were really nice.

Diner Review №195

Best Thai in Clemson!

Diner Review №196

Very different, but absolutely amazing. Please be careful if you have a coconut allergy when ordering. However-- the food was hot and very authentic. The jasmine rice brings the perfect amount of sweetness to the nice spicy curry. Definitely has my vote just with their homemade sweet tea. 10/10 would recommend you try at least once.

Diner Review №197

Kitchen may get backed up a little with to go orders, but the food is always worth the wait. PSA masks required for entry

Diner Review №198

I'd actually give it 4.5 stars. Very good deep flavors. Appetizers were especially good. Friendly and efficient service, especially their young daughter. We will be going back again.

Diner Review №199

First time visitors and now we will be regulars. Clean and attractive interior, delicious food and attentive service. Can't wait to go back.

Diner Review №200

This is the 2nd time we've ordered to-go from here and it was pretty good both times. We had chicken pad Thai, beef pad see ew, fried rice with mango & tofu, fresh rolls, edamame, chicken satay and mango sticky rice. There were a few things I wasn't impressed with this time. To start the edamame was overcooked and didn't have sea salt on it while the rice in the mango sticky rice was undercooked and some of it was crunchy (although the flavor seemed good from the few bites we did eat). The fried rice had a TON of tofu in it, however hardly any vegetables. The beef pad see ew and chicken pad Thai were both good and the peanut sauce was YUM. Also for $6.98 they could have done more than 3 satay skewers. The people seem very friendly, however I didn't realize there was a $1.50 charge to order online (we were sitting in our car out front ordering, just trying to minimize exposure do to Covid. While it was pretty good overall, definitely not a $70 dinner.
