tong-D has been closed for a while and we’ve been tried every thai restaurant in wakefield to find a new favorite. i must say, after trying sa-tang today, i will only be getting food here. all the dishes are well spiced and very very flavorful, my tastebuds are very pleased. they also make the best thai tea in town (from all that i’ve tried). we got the hot basil fried rice (i added pineapples), panang curry and pad kee mow. Each and every dish we got was exceptionally delicious. we asked everything to be extra spicy, and they did not disappoint us. im slightly annoyed that we didnt try this place sooner. besides the food, the staff is also very nice, helpful and friendly.

Ordered take out recently and it exceeded my expectations. You can order online and pick it up in 15 minutes. I highly recommend the fried rice and the chicken pad Thai. You can choose the heat of your sauce so it’s just right. Will definitely order here again.

We started our dinner with a cocktail... Choosing a cosmopolitan that was quite good! For dinner we had the chicken wraps and the sesame duck. Both were very good...tasty, fresh, and good portion size. My wife and I don't have large appetites so sharing an appetizer and main course works for us.

We ended our meal with mango and sticky rice for dessert. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. Good solid food. Friendly and attentive service. Relaxing environment. All reasonably priced. We definitely recommend.

Our favorite Thai restaurant in South County. Usually get take out. Very customizable menu, great to be able to adjust spice level or which protein to have in any of the noodle or rice dishes. Very good quality food

Used to get large food orders here all the time during the week. Came before 930 on a Saturday night and were turned away. Went down the street to a different Thai place. Very disappointed.

Really can’t tell you how the food was because after sitting at-a table and watching other people be served-who came in after us-we left! 20 minutes of wait time seemed unacceptable with no waitress , except when she sat us at an isolated table with menus and water!

The food was absolutely amazing, especially for the price! I had the lunch special and it only cost me $13 for a salad, spring rolls, and yellow curry with beef. I would happily make the hour drive from my house just to have lunch here again.

My Wife and I have eaten here twice. Both Times everything was great. We have tried the satay chicken skews, spring rolls, mango curry, pad thai and crunchy pad thai. I would recommend the crunchy pad thai over the regular pad thai. This will be a regular thai place for us.

Had the most delicious food in months here, atmosphere is great and the server was attentive polite. Definately a nice stop for great food.

Holy cow do yourself a favor and eat some curry puffs. I ate the takoyaki special, they were delicious but I think they sat for a minute and the temp was a little cooler. I've had these in Japan, Sa-Tang's were great, but there were not enough of them!! My miso soup was yummy. My dining mate's pad se ew was flavorful and had fresh crunchy broccoli.

Enjoyed lunch here...crispy scallion pancakes with a lovely peanut sauce that was slightly sweet and a hint of heat...Pad Thai with pork was delicious...noodles had a bite without being mushy...spring rolls were very crispy with a nice dipping sauce gingery and a hint of heat. All that and a friendly attentive staff...we will be back.

I lived in Thailand for 2.5 years and miss the food more than anything! Sa-Tang is the closest I’ve come to replicating the meals from Thailand itself. Delicious food, amazing service, and they even threw in a free Cha Yen. Loved this place and I’d be a regular if I were from here!

We have never had Thai sauces before like at Sa-Tang, and now it is our go-to Thai restaurant. Great food and drink. Service varies a bit depending on the number of diners, but nothing to complain about. The quality, however, never varies.

Best thai food in Rhode Island, a must when in South Kingstown. Consistently amazing food and patient staff. I frequently dine here and am always leaving satisfied. If you like thai food you can't pass up Sa-Tang.

Enjoyed the lunch menu's flexibility and depth! Great tasting food and very attentive and patient wait staff! (My friend and I finished our meal, paid, but lingered for some time catching up and enjoying one another's conversation. The waiter kindly cleared away our plates and just continued to fill our water glasses without any pressure for us to leave. *There were other empty tables so we weren't hogging the seating.)

I'm currently on a mission to try all the pho gá in Rhode Island and Sa Tang marks my sixth restaurant. Given its location just 10 minutes from URI I can't help but give it the spot of number two on my list. Hon's is my current favorite after Hong Meas closed, but Sa Tang is well priced with a generous portion of soup, and though it's not as good as Hon's in my opinion, it still perfectly satisfied my cravings. The staff at Sa Tang is super nice and the atmosphere is extremely cozy! Will definitely be heading here again during finals week :)

Sorry but this restaurant gets a basic OK from me and my two daughters. Average only. The atmosphere is very nice. Well decorated, comfortable little place. There is a good bar with seating; all the booth and table seating arrangements are comfortable. The service was fast and friendly, however once we were served the staff did not come back to check on us. I needed pepper and there are no salt or pepper shakers or soy sauce on the tables. We also wanted another diet drink but it took a long while for staff to come back and they were hardly busy.
The waitress messed up the appetizer order sending out satay chicken instead of thai rolls, but we didnt complain. The chicken was mildly curried and good. The fried wontons were overcooked. But my daughter's puff pastry appetizer was good.
We all ordered vegetable dishes that came with chicken and a light brown sauce and rice. Vegetables were very fresh, having been mildly steamed. However, I ordered a "crispy" chicken version of the stir fry and was appalled that the chicken was none other than a round, garden variety deep-fried from frozen American chicken patty sliced atop my veggies. I was hoping for an egg-battered or tempura style Thai crispy chicken addition, so this really disappointed!
The brown rice and Jasmine rice was good .however the light brown broth/sauce while not heavy, tasted more like plain beef broth. This sauce needs more seasoning with garlic, scallions and spices. Very plain, not memorable flavors. When we come to a Thai meal, we expect some flavorful effort.
We cannot recommend Sa-tang.

I was there with a friend in late afternoon. It is not a huge parking lot and the adjacent street is busy. The food I have had there was excellent - not too heavy on the coconut milk. I like things spicy and found level 3 (of 4) to be perfect for me. I highly recommend the panang curry with pork.
