The restaurant sits immediately on the corner of the intersection. The limited amount of parking is only along the street. Orders are placed at the counter. We intended on eating there, but the steel high chairs were really uncomfortable, and we decided on to-go instead.

We ran the gamut ordering pan-fried noodles with crispy chicken; shrimp with pineapple fried rice, and mango chicken. Appetizers were tempura shrimp, crab Rangoon, and coconut shrimp.

When we got home, everything was still nice and hot and delicious. I especially enjoyed the crab rangoons. My wife really liked the mango chicken. Enjoy.

There was a technical error where DoorDash somehow canceled my order. The restaurant called me personally to apologize and replace the order at a cheaper price and delivered it promptly, even though at this point they had already closed. They were super nice, great service! And the food is amazing

The food taste is mediocre at best. Just tasted salt and oil. Didn't get any of the flavors that Thai food is known for. There's plenty of good Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. Skip this one. Ordered pork skewers, garlic pepper pork combo, and Rama curry.

2-21-24 Came back tonight and got the very same dish. (Was working nearby in North Providence.) Just as delicious and a large portion. First visit: Kang Massaman curry with extra veggies and tofu! Excellent, and very sweet service. Thank you!

Every couple months I get food from here and each time it gets better. Tofu nime chow is one of my favorite Thai things and tonight TSG made the most PERFECT nime ever. I’m so delighted. Keep it up!!

Absolutely loved this place!! My boyfriend and I ordered teriyaki chicken with white rice, beef pho soup, and scallion pancakes. The chicken was white meat which was a place and it was nice and crunchy with great flavor. The pho soup with beef was so delicious and had great spice as well and the beef was tender as well. Finally, the scallion pancakes were great as well. They were super crispy and fresh. The only downside about the scallion pancakes was it did have a slight fishy taste to it which I’m not sure if they fry the seafood in the same oil but it was still super delicious. 😊

I’m really disappointed as I wanted to like this place as I’ve found it very difficult to find quality thai food in providence. I ordered a pad thai and it was very greasy and at the same time, had no flavor. The grilled chicken was rubbery and did not look fully cooked. I had to throw the whole dish away as I lost my appetite after only a couple of
bites.

Some of the best Tom Yum soup and Nime Chow I’ve ever had. Great staff too, everyone is super friendly

The thai star wings are phenomenal and the chicken teriyaki is the best! Great staff and cute dining area. Prices are reasonable compared to the portions you get. Can't wait to go back!

Food is amazing! From the perfectly crispy crab rangoons with fresh duck sauce to the Mongolian beef combo dish with some extra spice, the mango curry with beef and the newly added nime chow with an awesome peanut sauce, best Thai we have had in a while!

This is the second time I have order from the new location. The people are very sweet, but the items do not taste the same as the Chalkstone location. Sorry to say, but I will continue to order from Chalkstone.

Order was ready on time. Difficult to find parking. Food was not fresh and lacked flavor. Noodles were poorly cooked and actually soggy. One dish was Chicken Teriyaki and did not have much flavor. Dave’s Marketplace has far superior Chicken Teriyaki wings. Lastly a bit pricey for the portions. Ordered directly from the restaurant and not on Door Dash

I walked in and told them im a huge fan of hot/spicy food but it's hard to find. I ordered the pork belly pho and it surpassed all of my expectations.

The hostess was very beautiful and sweet and took time to help me pick a meal I would enjoy and turned me on to boba tea.

Overall a great experience. I left full, happy and more cultured. Highly recommended and I definitely will visit again with company

Amazing food. Amazing quality. Amazing people. I've been eating Thai star for years and this new location did not disappoint. My go to is the spicy basil rice and the Thai star wings. Everything's made fresh and still steaming by the time you get home. I'm really happy there is another location of my favorite Thai place in town!

I was so excited when I saw this place open up last week in my neighborhood. I went in tonight to pick up an order of chicken pad Thai to go. The people working inside were very nice and my food was hot but it had absolutely no flavor. I counted four small pieces of chicken about eight bean sprouts no peanuts and no scallions. I am so disappointed. They’ve only been open a week so maybe they’re trying to get the bumps out I will try them again in a month or so but I’m definitely going to order a different dish.
