We were driving through Providence and we used Google to find a place for dinner near Interstate 95. The place is small, but has seating for about 12. The menu has many choices. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent and friendly. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. If we are ever in the area again, we will be back.

This has to be one of the better Thai meals I’ve had since coming home from Thailand. I had the spicy country style pad Thai, and it was perfect, hot and not too sweet. I also had the satay, which was also excellent. The people who made my food couldn’t have been nicer. I’ll be back every time I’m in town.

This place is amazing, the staff is so friendly and food is great. Every time I try something new I like it more. There are so many bad options for Asian food in RI -- this is not one of them.

I've ordered pick-up and delivery from this establishment - both dining experiences have been stellar. The food is always hot and delicious, and the family that runs the place is incredibly kind and welcoming.

So far we have tried the Pad See Ew with tofu, Drunken Noodles with tofu, Spicy Basil Fried Rice with beef, and crispy spring rolls. Our meals have been consistently good across the board. This restaurant has earned a top spot for us to return to.

So sad to find out the previous owners have retired, and sold this establishment to new owners when I got take outs earlier. I have been a loyal customer for the past 20 years, pretty much since they opened. My kee mao (flat wide noodles) were quite bland. My mama noodles were not as flavorful as before. Both dishes looked quite pale. They now use carrots (yuck) and a bunch of cabbage (like them, but too much!). I personally think carrots do not belong in any dish. They use thinner but somewhat bigger chicken pieces. I am very suspicious of big pieces of chicken in asian dishes - as some of those pieces could be not well cooked.

This place has been sold to new owners. I was a customer of thai orchid for 20 years. It used to be wonderful. I ordered soup and I felt like I was calling a large restaurant. I was just a number. We ordered soups and it was an hour to get it. The old owners even on a busy Saturday night it would be 25 minutes. The soup was bland and they have no substitutions. Old owners were accommodating and the reason it lasted so long.
They took the name but it will never be the same.

Very fresh food made to order and the owners have it down. They are the most friendly couple, and can handle a rush of orders. Food allergies? Let them know. 100% accommodation. Very reasonably priced menu, too! Place is very small. They're mostly a take out spot, but 4-6 people can eat in at the same time. Did I mention how very fast and punctional they are?

My favorite soup is the Chicken Ginger. It's so light and flavorful you'll go back just for more of that! Never mind all the other magical items! Hahaa seriously...the Pad Thai, steamed pork dumplings, I LOVE the Pineapple fried rice (I prefer it plain, meaning no adding of a main protein like beef/pork/chicken/shrimp/duck/tofu), and the Nime Chow is just heavenly.

Aaaaand everything is made fresh, by hand, from scratch. If you know, you know! If you don't know, I highly recommend you go! 💗😍🍜👍

You need to go into Tai orchid totally take out. My fourth year. My girlfriend from Florida told me she herd about them in Naples an when she came home we went everyday that week. I have been going since then and she said I’m so jealous it’s hard to find a tai Resturant that is better them Tai Orchid.

If you live in Cranston and have not been to Thai Orchid, first off Im sorry for you and 2nd, you must live in Western Cranston lol because this place is a hidden gem. They only do take out, the place is teeny but full of flavor and love. The owners are husband and wife and make everything from scratch. You can literally taste the love. The BEST Thai food I’ve ever had!!! So fresh and delicious! It is owned by a lovely couple and the woman is so incredibly sweet! I never want to go to any other Thai restaurant after tasting their menu! I’m a vegetarian and finding good spots with diverse and flavorful options can be a struggle but I know I always in for something good here. Extra points because their compliance with COVID precautions and cleanliness is stellar.

Ate here for the first time today and I am AMAZED. Country Style Pad Thai was flavorful and fresh, with just a touch of heat. And the CHICKEN WINGS: not at all what I expected. Meat was tender and moist, breading was hella crispy, and the "special sauce" they come with is some kind of concentrated Thai Chili situation that's to die for.

Easily the best Thai food I have had in RI so far (I only have tried Thai food at Asian food restaurants that serve different varieties in addition to thai such as Japanese, Chinese, etc.). We had the chicken pad Thai, pineapple fried rice with duck and pad see ew with beef. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend this place.

Best Thai food in Rhode Island

Extremely delicious, out of all the Asian restaurants I have eaten at, and I have eaten at many of them. The house fried rice is to die for, as well as the Thai drunken noodles. For any of their main dishes, you can choose the main meat item, including shrimp. The eating area is small, like 2 single tables and 3 double tables. They do a large take out business, and I have yet to wait for a table when I go there. The menu has a great selection of authentic Thai appetizers and main dishes, and you won't be disappointed with the fresh quality of their food. They will be closed for a month and a half, starting February 1st thru March 13th 2020, going back home to Thailand. I was just there last night with my nephew. We can't go there enough.

I took my 2 children there. The place is very small but the host was very pleasant and friendly. We ordered chicken fried rice. Chicken pai tai, fried pork dumpling and crab Rangoon. The amount was enough for us to share. The food was excellent. My son loves the dumplings as he found a new spot .

Every time I go here the food is astonishing! The veggies are very fresh and clean. The sauces are so flavorful and the meats are perfect. Lunch specials are $9 and come with an entree, rice and chicken satay. I really cannot pick a favorite so far. The woman who runs the place is so sweet and friendly.
