Been reviewing Thai restaurants in the USA for a while now, this one is good but not great. We appreciated them being open and available! The soups were our highlight (duck soup and seafood). The drunk noodle was okay, but the fried rice wasn’t crispy like we enjoy.

I have tried almost every single Thai restaurant in town, but this one really disappointed me. Got a delivery order for pad sew aew and pad Thai on uber eats because it’s high rating. I have to say this pad see aew is the worst one I ever got. Never had it tastes soggy and weird sour flavor. And the beef doesn’t look like real beef. And the ingredients isn’t authentic as well. The pad Thai taste much better than the pad see aew. Guess not much ppl are ordering it so it’s not fresh as pad Thai.

There for the weekend and not much around this area ..... espicially me coming from NYC area. Food was okay but I like my spice.... tried the Basil Thai Fried rice with shrimp but will give it a 3 out of 5.

I wish I could give them 6 stars. I was immediately greeted and seated by the window. The waiter was genuinely a nice person. I heard her greet several other guests by name. The spicy basil fried rice was outstanding. Large chunks of white meat chicken and very flavorful. I also had panang curry which was great. Same large chunks of chicken and loads of fresh vegetables. The service was as fast and as courteous as I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Scranton. The “Thai hot” level 5 is no joke.

Delicious food, outstanding service.

Food is phenomenal. Can’t beat their lunch deal for thai food! Found a hair in one time though and they always forget my chopsticks.
Edit: they gave my Uber eats order to a rando and refused to remake it and refused to cancel order so they wouldn’t lose $. They then insisted it be paid for again even though they were negligent in checking the name of the order prior to giving it away.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Can’t wait to keep trying more dishes. Don’t leave without trying the sticky rice for dessert!

The best place for soup in Scranton, and it is reasonably priced… lunch is about $15 and i suggest the yellow curry.

Absolutely disgusting..cockroach in food and didn’t find till onset finished eating and then they tried to blame doordash bc we ordered thru them even tho the bag came stapled shut..completely disgusting

I forgot how much I like this place. I don't live close, but even worth the drive. Pleasant staff, deliciously prepared food. I highly recommend it. Lemongrass chicken soup is a favorite!

I really like this restaurant and have gone there for many years. I'm happy they now have bubble tea! It was something that my daughter missed when we went before.
The portions are generous, veggies fresh, staff is extra super nice.
I wish they had their own website for placing orders, you have to use a delivery app or call. They don't have their full menu anywhere I've found online.

Nice ambience, a little crowded, but good food. We had pineapple fried rice, spring rolls, and green curry.

I tried the Roasted Duck Noodle Soup today. It was excellent! Very good portions for the price. Staff very friendly and my order was ready quick.

Can’t speak to the service or atmosphere, I got food delivered. I went with the basics for my first try: Chicken Pad Thai (Mild) and Chicken Pad Kra Tiem Prik Thai (Mild). I ordinarily order things spicy, but I wanted to understand the quality and flavors involved in their versions of these dishes, I would definitely order it spicy next time. Everything was fresh, delicious, well balanced flavor wise and with great portions. I find myself thinking about this foods’ flavor a couple weeks later and my mouth is watering. Probably my favorite thing I’ve eaten in the area. I would definitely go here to sit down for the full experience. Thank you so much for the wonderful food!

Bland food, overcooked, expensive

I ordered through Uber Eats, and although the food was clean and fresh. There were no utensils, which is fine since I was at a hotel. But no additional soy sauce, or mustard packings. End of the world.

The best restaurant in the Scranton PA!!!! I live miles away and when in the area ALWAYS stop to eat here. The food is incredible! The prices are reasonable ($7.99 and up for lunch special - depending on your protein) and BYOB. The people are just so inviting and lovely. I have not tried another restaurant in area since finding it - and I always take home another dish for the next day. If you are in Scranton and want great food - GO HERE!!! 100% Recommend!!!!

First place I ever had Thai food at but it's also my girlfriend's favorite and she has tried a bunch. I do delivery sometimes and they are always very nice there.

Food was okay. Curry amount was less and Fried Ice cream was horrible. They added alcohol on top of friend ice cream without informing us. Who does that!

I ordered a Thai sampler to go at nearly 12 dollars for a tiny portion. I was surprised to see they added a tip to my bill 3 days later. Rude.

Great Thai food at a reasonable price. Went on a Friday night, and service was fast, food was fairly quick as well. Kind of difficult to find parking, but that's not their fault. Took an extra dish to go, was just as good heated up as fresh from the restaurant.

Anyone who has eaten Thai before cannot possibly find any faults with this place! Service is great with friendly faces and respectful attitudes, never making you feel rushed. Food is phenomenal! Several ppl I've recommended go there have loved it as well. Reviews mention portions being too small...this isn't true unless you're used to going to a buffet and stuffing yourself with pounds of food! I get the lunch special and leave with leftovers. WORTH TRYING!!

UPDATE: We went back here twice since the change the restaurant made to take out only. We spent $90 and the food was awful. Freshness and quality of the food went far downhill. The cilantro in the soup was yellow and wilted, soup was broken and overly sour, the noodles were even mushy as if they had been made earlier or sat. Super disappointing as we always loved visiting this spot when we were in town. We likely won’t be back if this is the new operation of things.

It’s ok. My girlfriend ordered the pad thai and asked for it spicy-you’d think it would have extra thai chilies but it was covered in what tasted like sriracha and it as inedible. I got tofu red curry and hardly any veggies in it, literally some canned baby corn, bell peppers, like 3 mushroom slices, and onion. Also served with lemons not limes. Suffice to say I have had MUCH BETTER thai food. The server seem scared of us or something. Overall weird vibes.

Sorry. As much as I love this place, I will not support a take out only restaurant.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered pad Thai from under the VEGETARIAN ENTREE category. They give me the food with shrimp AND chicken in it. Unbelievable. Do you know what the word vegetarian means???? You ruined my entire meal because I refuse to eat it. Oh yeah. You also never gave me the drinks I ordered. I will never, ever ever order from this place again. And if you want a correct order I suggest you don’t order either.

We were looking for a good Thai place in the area, and we were pleasantly surprised at how successful we were on the first try! This place is great! A frequent dinner option for us! We personally love their vegetarian options! 10/10!

When I was headed back to Jersey I wanted to grab lunch and came across this spot. I called in my order of the vegetable dumplings, spring rolls and spaghetti kee mao. When I arrived I parked nearby. I walked in and seen they only do take out and my food still wasn't ready. I waited ablut 6 minutes or so and a man brought my food out. I asked him for hot and duck sauce. He brought out one duck sauce packet lol and I asked for another and he seemed hesitant but he gave me one more. He was trying to be stingy with the duck sauce lol. I paid about $18 and left. When I got in I ate and everything was good. I enjoyed the spaghetti the most. All in all I had a pretty decent experience.

BEST THAI FOOD IN ALL OF SCRANTON HANDS DOWN!! I love the food here and it's always a delight to eat here. I think this is some staple scranton food and this saved me on more than one occasion when I needed good food for dinner. The service is quick and food is always hot and very well seasoned! I'll be looking to see if I can review their store next door separately but also stop in to their store! I get all my ramen and Boba here and no where else!

Me, my fiancée, and our daughter absolutely LOVE ordering this place’s Beef Bone Broth Noodle Soup specifically. Whenever it’s cold or we’re sick or just really craving good soup, we order the soup from here for delivery, and it never fails to make us all feel not just better, but happier. The meat in the soup isn’t that great, no matter if you get the chicken beef or pork, but the soup itself is nothing short of extraordinary.

I’ve had many of the other popular items such as the Pad Thai and sticky rice, but to me the beef bone broth soup stands out more than anything else in terms of flavor. Do yourself a favor, next time you come here order it. Even if you don’t want it right then, stick it in the fridge and reheat it up to 2 days later. You’ll get it from them every time.

All the food we ordered was very tasty and the staff was very nice. They let us sit inside while we waited for our food to be prepared and the wait time wasn't very long. I definitely recommend the drunken noodles!

Ordered Pad Thai (#52) and Beef (#50) and was pleasantly surprised about #52, lots of chicken and noodles. Wish there was a little bit more egg, but can't complain too much.

#50 was much more disappointing as the amount of food inside the container is represented as is in the photo. Severely lacking compared to the pad thai. Brings my review down to a 3 star

Im part thai and was looking to find my favorite dish nam tok neua. The concept was there but the flavors were extremely sweet! It's supposed to be salty and tangy with very little sweet to cut the acidity and spice. It needed more fish sauce and lime for sure. Also the cut of beef used was a very cheap cut of steak that was very thin so the meat was over cooked. It needed alot more herbs(mint,cilantro). And why would you guys put lettuce in it? Also you left out the toasted rice! I will never order this dish from here again. I can say my rice was cooked to perfection and the coconut soup was delicious.

The best Thai restaurant in the area, you can tell that they actually use real herbs and spices in their food, ordered the tom kha gai soup and it had some lemongrass and lime leaves inside, delicious. Highly recommend :)

This is my favorite thai food place around. I usually get panang curry but last time tried massaman. The flavors were incredible. It was very similar to panang but had a more cinnamon taste! I always try to go here when in Scranton.

Can I just say how wonderful this establishment is. The staff is a sheer pleasure and the food is beyond good. I enjoy Thai food very much and have moved back to the area after being away for 20 years. I lived in Jersey and Florida and everywhere I went I found a good Thai place. I hadn't found it back hear yet. Sushi Thai was ok but pricey for ok. I would go back occasionally but I wasn't crazy about it. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad but was just ok. I moved to the other side of town on Moosic Street and did a search and found thai rak thai. Thank goodness. I went 4 days in a row. The food is exceptional and the owners are so pleasant and the prices are great. I get out of there for under 15 tax and tip and delicious meal. They are also always busy. As a former restaurateur that is a very good sign to me. I cant recommend this place strongly enough. If you really appreciate the flavor and spice of thai food you can't miss here.

I ate here 3 times. The food is soooooo delish! Customer service is amazing. & The bathroom is clean. I gave 4 stars and not four because the serving size can be improved especially for the price.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The staff is unkind and very much stubborn and rude and wouldn’t give me a refund when there was a roach or some kind of insect in my food that was still alive crawling all over my rice and this inside the packaged box.

Extremely disappointing. It must have been a bad day for them. The rest of the reviews are so positive that I'm sad that I didn't likewise have a good experience.

My large soup was 98% broth, 1% quartered mushrooms, and 1% chicken. What happened to everything else? Why order soup at all if you'll only get broth? Wouldn't you expect at least a few bitefuls of solids in a soup advertising them? Next time, I'll toss some bullion into a pot of hot water and get there same effect as the soup I ordered.

I love this place and its food especially the Thai dumplings they are my favorite! The ladies there are super nice and I appreciate them very much. This is my favorite place to go for lunch when working downtown.
