Come for the great food, stay for the tasteful bossa nova covers of pop songs. Very enjoyable BYOB experience, one of my favorite Thai spots in Philadelphia.

Diner Review №6

Absolutely amazing food! I’ve been many times and will never stop going.

Diner Review №7

Reserved ahead for a group dinner around the holidays and this restaurant had everything for different dietary needs. Our group loves spicy Thai food and it was the perfect place to get together and enjoy great food and service together to celebrate the holidays. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and added to the cozy ambiance we were looking for.

We were celebrating a birthday and called ahead to confirm we can bring a cake from outside. The restaurant was very accommodating to our request and even gave us plates and a knife to serve it.

We will definitely be back in the near future to enjoy the amazing food and service.

waiter was super friendly!! me and my boyfriend stumbled upon this place and it was actually a great find. the atmosphere is really cozy and the decor is elegant!! the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. everything was great! we loved the food, we ordered chicken satay— the chicken was so tender, and curry puffs— the sauce was great with the puff, as well as the massaman curry. i also ordered a thai tea, and it was just what you’d expect. our total came out to around $50, everything was delicious. we definitely would come here again and my boyfriend mentioned coming with his family since he loved it so much as well. keep up the great work :)

after our meal the waiter allowed us to sit and do our homework for 2 hours which was super kind to allow, and the service here is great. loved this experience!! definitely worth it to leave a review here for how kind the waiter was!

Diner Review №10

Another amazing whim of a choice spot. Parking is a little iffy ?(we went on a Tuesday and got lucky). This place has been the best authentic thai Ive ever had and Ive eaten alottt of thai between PA , MD and DC. Their flavors were so deep and welcoming I thought I was in Thailand and not in downtown philly. They also have the most authentic form of mango sticky rice ive ever had, I learned. Its SUPPOSED to be green rice. Anything else is not authentic mango thai sticky rice. Their drunken noodles were unmatched. Fresh, hand pulled flat noodle's. Their chicken satay was sooo fresh and roasted well on their gril tasted like it was right out of a fire pit in the BEST WAY. The star for me was their Tom Kha Gai soup. It was the best I have ever had, I thought I loved that soup and then I had it there and it made me realize... I would order that shit on my death bed. Vibes were great. Quiet ambience without harsh lighting. Could have crawled under a table and taken a nap after I stuffed myself. What a blessing they are to share their talents with all of philly. Hope to be back soon. Thank you for an amazing dinner! xox

Stunning food and service
The catfish was spicy ow ow!
Can’t go wrong with drunken noodle
Veggie appetizer tray was the most fun I’ve had in years

Diner Review №14

Lemongrass fried rice is the best

Diner Review №15

Great panang curry.

Diner Review №16

The menu is fairly extensive, full of Thai/Laotian classics. We started with the sakoo sai moo, which we weren't familiar with. This was nice-tapioca dumplings with with pork and peanuts inside. It was an interesting dish. I'm not a huge tapioca fan but I enjoyed the texture of this. I do think it needs some form of a dipping sauce, though, as by itself it's a bit dry/simple.

Pork jungle: Good amount of pork and peppers. The sauce was nice. I was expecting a bit spicier, however, so was a little disappointed in that respect.

Goong ob woonsen: ginger shrimp with glass noodles. The shrimp were great: plump and flavored well. Quite enjoyed the green dipping sauce it came with and poured that onto the noodles.

Overall, not the best Thai we've had but worth trying. However, the menu itself is pretty expensive especially for the area, which is interesting. We were the only customers there for lunch on a Saturday, so not sure if it gets busier.

Diner Review №17

5 stars in all categories, starting with the atmosphere, we arrived just after the opened for the evening. As we sat at our tabkes pulling our chairs in they greeted us warmly with lemon infused water, and dimmed the lights to a comfortable and warm glow enhancing the intamacy of the setting. Soft music played while we poured over the appropriately expansive menue.

The service , top notch. We needed an extended amount of time to reach our descion as a group to decide what we would savor. The servers were very patient and came back to check on us appropirately also very attentative with ensuring our glasses of water remained full and our table was cleared or empty plates.

The food!! Best crab fried rice Ive ever had came with some sort of sauce similar, I dont think ill order it anywhere else in the city! Penang curry, tom yum soup with crispy tofu , calamari and so many other dishes! I will definietly be back anytime I want to impress a group of friends or casual dine by my self, I need more of that crab fried rice!

Diner Review №18

I ordered the Thai ginger sautéed entree on uber eats. It was missing a number of items or I was sent the wrong order. Uber refused to fix it saying my order didn't qualify for an adjustment. But the store did mess up the order. They gave me string beans instead of snow peas. There was no fried ginger. But they gave me bok choy, carrots, and broccoli which wasn't even listed on the uber eats app or the restaurants app. The order was so different, I genuinely couldn't tell if I received the wrong order or they just changed the ingredients.

The duck dish my partner ordered was fine. Other than there not being enough sauce.

But overall disappointed.

Diner Review №20

loveeee Ratchada. food is delicious and the menu is extensive. it’s easy to have something new and surprising every time! everyone here is wonderful, knowledgeable about the dishes and super helpful with questions about ingredients/allergies. gluten free labels on the menu are appreciated!

Diner Review №21

We ordered drunken noodles with extra veggies and so they gave us a side of lettuce 😅

Overall, solid! Drunken noodles and papaya salad were amazing, but the Thai sampler was just okay (very dense and not particularly flavorful).

Diner Review №22

Went for dinner yesterday. Ordered green curry with tofu. Had a very oily taste. Drinking noodles with tofu were terrible. Had read reviews that their drunken noodles are great but our experience was exact opposite. Worst was pad thai ordered with tofu. Came with chicken. I'm a strict vegetarian and didn't realize till I started eating and something was off. I was so upset. The staff just took it back and made a new one. No apologies and was made to pay for the dish too! Never going back to this place.

Diner Review №23

A lot of Laos people eating there and I don't know why. My wife is Thai and she didn't like it. Everything was overcooked and tasteless.

Diner Review №24

Still love this place! Delicious food, generous portions, affordable. And BYOB!

Diner Review №25

Diner Review №26

Exceptionally good food. Flavors were intense but still had plenty of subtlety. Portions were also generous.

Diner Review №27

Food was mediocre, ask for no tofu to be in my dish but I was still in it after requesting it not to be. Noodles in the drunken noodle were too large (almost like lasagna) and disgusting. Nice atmosphere, a little too dark I won’t return.

Diner Review №28

The food is great! Some of the best Thai food in Philly, but what really stood out to me is the coconut cake. The cake is so deliciously coconuty, the sponge is light and bouncy. I would come back just for the cake.

Diner Review №29

I was there ordered a dish and waited almost 50 minutes. Well, that's it, my order wasn't ready yet. Well, the waiter spoke to me rudely, as if I owed them

Diner Review №30

Loved the food. Very authentic thai cuisine.

Diner Review №31

Diner Review №32

Absolutely adored this place from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere here is so intimate and cozy, I can’t believe I used to live two blocks away from here 4 years ago and this is my first time visiting.

Food was spectacular, got Pad Kee Mao and Thai Dumplings- both were well portioned and came out fairly quickly.

Will definitely be returning, new favorite date spot??

Diner Review №45

Amazing experience is all I can say. The service was amazing. The food tastes just like what I had at home in Thailand. But the Khao Soi needs a bit more saltiness. Personally would recommend Kana Moo Grob.

Diner Review №46

Been here a few times now. It's my favorite spot to recommend to friends. Delicious food with very generous portions. The staff are so friendly and very competent. The food always comes out quickly. Super chill atmosphere.

It's hard to resist the temptation to come here every time I go out for dinner with friends.

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

Good food, very flavorful, we've tried a few other places in Philly, this has to be my favorite. Slightly dated ambience but the food more than makes up for it.

Great customer service and friendly 🫶🏻

Diner Review №50

While in this restaurant I thoroughly enjoyed a jazz cover of “love you like a love song” by Hikari Aoki (originally performed by Selina Gomez), an order of Tom kha soup (with chicken) and a plate of pad see ew (with chicken)

Diner Review №52

Knockout delicious food. Even the water was amazing. It’s byob too. We will be back often.

Diner Review №53

First experience was AMAZING! 10/10! The staff is incredibly friendly and make great suggestions if you aren’t sure what to choose from their menu. The atmosphere is really cool, love all of the decorations.

The food is delicious and fresh! The flavors just seem to dance around on the tongue and the aroma pulls you in to a world of exotic excitement.

Recommending this place to EVERYONE from this point on!

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

great food, and their website splash page callout of delivery services charging obscene rates is 💯

Diner Review №56

Diner Review №57

Got the pineapple fried rice. Though it was supposed to be spicy it wasn’t. There was no utensils in the bag even though I asked for it. The Thai ice coffee was more sugar than coffee. The food had no flavor was jigger bland

Diner Review №58

I love a Thai restaurant with authentic Thai food from Lao and Northern part of Thailand.

Diner Review №59

Amazing Thai food. The best I have had in Philadelphia.

Diner Review №60

Food was very good and the restaurant was very nice (apart from the QR scan menus that I don’t like). The reason I give this 4 stars is because the prices are a bit high. (I know everything is expensive right now, but I still like to be cheap)

Diner Review №61

Good food, great environment.

Diner Review №62

Diner Review №63

Incredible Thai food! The Khai Soi Kai and Green Curry dishes are fantastic and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant is BYOB which is great. Consider getting a reservation if possible because it gets busy weekend nights!

Diner Review №64

Diner Review №65

Ratchada, my Thai tea heaven! This place has become my go-to for that authentic, Thai tea fix. I swear, the concoction they whip up tastes amazing! It's like drinking 12oz of happiness.

I practically have a Thai tea IV drip here. Im here multiple times a week just to indulge in this delicious addiction.

To top it all off, the owner of this place is an absolute angel.

So, if you're looking for the perfect spot to get your traditional Thai tea fix, Ratchada is the place.

Diner Review №66

Amazing place! Authentic Thai restaurant, family owned with great, outrageously delicious food. I am not exaggerating. Ordered Chicken Satay and a Chicken on Tamarind sauce. Sophisticated flavor, presentation, great service and ambiance. New favorite!

Diner Review №67

Amazing! Never disappoints! Delicious Thai food. Our favorite in Philly. Highly recommended and a BYOB!

Diner Review №68

Love this place. After coming here several times and having a great experience, I recently had an issue with an order. The chef quickly reached out and fully remedied the situation. Great people, food and service overall

Diner Review №69

Love this place!

Diner Review №70

Diner Review №71

Best drunken noodles I’ve found so far in the city.

Diner Review №72

Vu was absolutely amazing to speak to on the phone. She was patient and super sweet. 10/10 will be eating here again.

Diner Review №73

Whenever I am craving for Thai food this is definitely one of my go to Thai restaurant in south Philly. My favorite appetizer is the fish cake and the Thai sausage. I love their Tom yum soup. The portion of the soup is big enough to share for 2 people. My favorite entree is the Ratchada duck. I can literally eat a whole bowl of rice with just this sauce and rice that’s how good the sauce is. We came here tonight with our friend and decided to let the restaurant surprise us with dishes rather then us picking out the dishes ourselves. Everything we had was delicious. The service is always exceptional. Waitress is so friendly and attentive. They constantly come by to check on us. For anyone who have never tried this place definitely need to give this place a try. It’s definitely a hidden gem in south Philly. I promise if you give you this place a try, you will definitely come back for more.

Diner Review №76

Diner Review №79

This place was busy on the Thursday night after Christmas! Our big group of 8 sat in the middle of the dining room and were attended to in a timely manner. We scanned the menu and there was more than meets the eye. We ordered a variety of dishes and our top favorites were the Thai papaya salad, Laos sampler, Ratchada Duck Chef Special, crab fried rice, and shrimp pad Thai. As you can probably tell, we wanted to try everything. It was a bit dark where we sat so we had to use our flashlight to see our food as they came out. The Sai Krog sausage was my least favorite as it didn’t stand a chance against the rest of the samplers we ate. There were a lot of winners among what we ordered. This place has the best shrimp Pad Thai I’ve ever eaten! It was perfectly cooked as the noodles were chewy and the flavor was spot on.

Diner Review №80

Great Thai and Laotian place, definitely one of the best in South Philly. A bit pricey for the portions, but the flavors are amazing. Presentation is good. Service is great. Nice quiet atmosphere. Good place to take a date. The appetiser sampler plates are great for two or three people.

Diner Review №81

best thai takeout in the city. and a wonderful dine in experience too. If I don’t want to cook, Ratchada is my number one go to!!!

Diner Review №82

New favorite Thai place. Yummy sauce with the pad Thai and the chicken satay. Can’t wait to try more.

Diner Review №83

I enjoy coming here as the atmosphere is nice and quiet and not too Asian. 😆I like meeting my clients here over a meal for our business meetings. The food is very good however, it is often time a little bit on the sweeter side for me. The service is always very good, they are very polite.

Diner Review №84

After having authentic Lao food in Minnesota, I have been searching everywhere for authentic Laotian food. This is a nice restaurant with a calm atmosphere located towards South Philly/Little Saigon.

Parking: There is a parking lot across the street for other businesses that can be used however it is packed and there may potentially not be any parking available. There are also back angle parking spots along the street of this restaurant.

Service: Service was quick. Cashier was nice. We did not see physical menus however they have QR codes posted on each table that leads to their online menu. The place wasn't busy and we were able to order takeout which was completed in ~10-15 minutes.

Price: Reasonable.

Food: Menu items have spice levels 1-5 with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest. We ordererd the Som Tum Lao (Spice Level 5) and Laab Salad (Pork; Spice Level 5). I really enjoyed the spice level 5. Unlike many other restaurants that have spice levels, this place actually delivers the spice as advertised! I was not disappointed at the spice.

The Som Tum Lao was good. The taste was there! The two minor complaints on this dish would be that it needs more papaya and less lettuce and that it needs more sauce as the top portion was on the drier side.

The Laab Salad was also good! It is a good portion size and was sweet. Only complaint with this one is that the level 5 spice could use a little more spicyness. This would be perfect if it was the same spice as the Som Tum Lao.

I will definitely be visiting this place whenever I am craving some Laotian food!

Diner Review №85

Ratchada has become my favorite Thai spot in Philly. Their food is always so delicious and flavorful. I also appreciate their service. For an order for work, I had to call countless times because a third party delivery app kept messing up. And throughout the entire process, they were so patient in answering my calls and questions. I could not recommend them more!

Diner Review №86

Consistently delicious. Awesome for delivery, takeout or a casual dine-in dinner.

Diner Review №87

Forever the best Thai restaurant in Philly!

Diner Review №88

Honestly the best Thai restaurant in all of Philadelphia. I love their favorite food!

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

Great date night spot. BYOB.

Diner Review №91

Nice place !!

Diner Review №92

Solid Thai and Laotian restaurant in Philly. Their takeout business is booming but their restaurant is very beautifully decorated and cute (helps its BYOB too!). We went more the Thai route and got the Thai sampler. While the spring rolls were fantastic, the crepes fell apart and the dumplings were far too dense/dry. The green curry was absolutely delicious and a massive portion. The pad Thai was fantastic and interestingly more sweet than expected but very good and balanced. The staff was super friendly as well. Very nice and will be back!

Diner Review №93

Diner Review №94

Diner Review №95

Had the Buddha dumplings, drunken noodles, massaman curry and mango sticky rice. My fiancé and I liked it so much, we came back and had the same thing the next day.

Diner Review №96

Went in for dinner. The ambience was good. The service was really nice. We had chicken Pad Kee Mao noodles, Pad Prik King Sauteed Entree with Chicken, Curry puff and Thai iced tea. Everything was amazing. Would definitely recommend. 10/10.

Diner Review №97

This place absolutely slaps. I got the drunken noodle with shrimp and it was out of this world. My husband got the curry and that was slightly under seasoned but still very well done. I can eat here everyday. I’d post a photo but the plates were cleared, 10/10 would recommend.

Diner Review №98

Wonderful place, great staff, food is authentic and delish, great atmosphere that has lots of detail and reminds you of southeast Asia decorating the walls, and it's not too pricey. A gem in South Philly!

Diner Review №99

Yet another great thai restaurant in Philly. One of the better ones in south philly, closely competing with the likes of Kalaya which are much more expensive

Diner Review №100

Excellent food, friendliest service! I've been there several times with my family which have never left dissatisfied nor hungry! Food is fresh and packed with flavor and the staff is the best!
Also, I have never really been a soup nut before, but I am really looking forward to going as the weather gets cooler as every one of their soups are absolutely delicious!
Try the Tom Kah and the Laos onion! Sooo good!

Diner Review №101

Excellent, excellent, excellent! We started with delicious appetizers. Corn cakes were amazing as were the rolls. The star dish for was a tofu and vegetable dish. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Our server was sweet and caring. Absolutely wonderful Thai food. Don't miss it!

Diner Review №102

The food and service here are absolutely fantastic. Truly a hidden gem!

Diner Review №103

My new favorite Thai spot - flavors are AMAZING and so many unique dishes

Diner Review №104

Had the Kao Pad Poe Taek fried rice and duck curry entree - both fantastic. Duck curry was sweet due to the fruit incorporated and the duck skin was incredibly crispy. Fried rice was some of the best I've had as well. Will definitely come back

Diner Review №105

This place is my FAVORITE Thai spot in Philly. EVERYTHING I’ve ever had here was so delicious, fresh, and well made. Entrees, apps, even down to the salad dressing. Their massaman curry and drunken noodles are top notch. Cute restaurant, the ladies who work here are super nice, and even when I get it for delivery it’s still top tier. I had my bday dinner here a few years ago and have been coming ever since. I will always recommend this place to everyone I know !! I’m excited to try their chefs dinner that they do on Mondays

Diner Review №106

We love Ratchada! They have it all, excellent menu, particularly vegetarian/vegan options, terrific atmosphere, byob, excellent music playing every time, they never fail us! They also brought out a nice free dessert for my girl's birthday, mango sticky rice that blew our minds! Definitely try the Tofu Lover's Delight, and the Massaman Curry, both amazing! In the past we've also enjoyed the Drunken Noodles 🥵, the Siam Noodle and Lard Na Noodle, the Coconut Soup and the Eggplant! All winners. The staff are total sweethearts too!

Diner Review №107

In Philly for the night and thank god this place was right around the corner from where I’m staying. I went in to pick up some food. Insanely comforting and flavorful, and the woman who took care of me was welcoming and had such a lovely personality. I’ll be back next time I’m in town. I need those curry puffs again!!!! Thanks for taking care of me 😊

Diner Review №108

Picked up a takeout order and while the food was excellent and atmosphere briefly observed inside was charming, an expressly stated order note about an allergy was completely ignored. Thankfully it isn’t a severe allergy but it was discouraging to have this request disregarded and is something to be aware of.

Diner Review №109

Everything was absolutely delicious. 100% coming here again! They have multiple gluten free options as well! I can't wait to eat their food again. I can't say it enough, it was incredibly delicious

Diner Review №110

My favorite place to go for Thai and Lao’s foods. Their service is always exceptional and they treat us very nice every time we dined there. I loved all the dishes we ate and their foods always satisfied my craving. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Diner Review №111

Diner Review №112

Wow, super delicious! Not just normal Thai standards (but there if you want). The Lao specialties are unique. We got a huge fish platter that was cut into strips with rice noodles and lots of toppings to put into lettuce leaves. Yummy sauce with toasted rice powder. Careful of the peppers, hotter than expected, but on the side.

Diner Review №113

The food here is insanely delicious. I’ve never even heard of a pork Thai crepe before, but now I’ll be looking for it everywhere. Their massaman curry is really well balanced and flavorful as well. The service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive. 10/10 recommend

Diner Review №114

Great food, great service! Highly recommend the Thai appetizer sampler.

Diner Review №115

Yaaaaaaaaas

Diner Review №116

The ordering and delivery were great. Unfortunately the food was really poor. The chicken satay was incredibly dry and the curry was so watered down and bland. So little flavor. Unfortunately I really wouldn’t go back here.

Diner Review №117

It's been awhile since I was here but never a disappointment. Good food with good service, perfect combo.

Diner Review №118

Very good service and food is good.

Diner Review №119

What a wonderful find! This little restaurant right off 11th Street is a gem. The food is fresh, and very tasty.

We started off with the calamari, and the Thai sampler. The calamari was amazing! Nice and crispy, and the sauce was really good with it. Our sampler had papaya salad, some egg rolls, fish balls, and dumplings. Very good sample of a lot of taste that you could have.

We ordered the crab fried rice, the duck, a curry, chicken pad Thai, and drunken noodles. All the entrees were delicious, especially the duck. Crispy, with this wonderful mango sauce that was the star of the show.

We ended, with a mango sticky rice that was really, really good.

We spent $160 for four people, which is a pretty good deal for such wonderful food and drinks. I would highly recommend this place and definitely will return.

Came in for dinner on a Thursday night. Got seated right away and enjoyed a SUPER delicious meal, no frills!

We ordered the Tom kha soup (soooo flavorful and effervescent!) and Khao jee ping. They take sticky rice, dip it in egg and fry it. Served with a meat and dipping sauce. Yum!

For our entrees we got the Penang curry (big portion!) and Kao Pad Poe Teak Fried Rice (lemongrass fried rice). DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS!! It’s so darn delicious! We’ll be back!

The flavor of this place is on point. Noodle all tastes amazing when served and ate right Way.

Will definitely come back again.

Diner Review №129

I generally don't go out to eat, but I have eaten at Ratchada more than I have eaten at all the other restaurants of Philadelphia combined. The food is excellent and has a good spice variety. I am so close to starting a log of meals and my opinions on them, so I can get my favorites over and over again while also trying something new each time. But over all food is superb (can and will rave about it), service is good, and atmosphere is alright (as in nothing to complain about, but totally there for the food). Interesting situation of using your phone to use the menu, but I am used to it at this point. Also, big big kudos to them as having obvious gluten free options. My dad has Celiac's and he loves to go out to eat, but it makes me so nervous to pick a restaurant. With Ratchada I don't have to worry about that and he has many, many options on meals.

What a great thai place! The price is so affordable for the portion and how amazing it is! The service was very good too and the atmosphere is amazing. I was here with friends to catch up, and we definitely took forever to order and stayed for a while, and the staff was so kind and did not rush us or made us feel unwelcome at all. We ordered Massaman Curry Entree, pad thai shrimp, Pad Himmaparn Sauteed Entree, Mango Sticky rice, and Khao Jee Ping Everything here was freaking delicious! I highly recommend it. Especially the mango sticky rice and Khao Jee Ping. The grilled sticky rice is so amazing. It's crispy and so satisfying to eat. Definitely stop by and try it out!!!

We had the greatest meal last Night at Ratchada. Everything we had was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. There are many vegetarian options. Two people in our party will find something to complain about at almost every restaurant we go. They, as well as all members of our party had nothing but great things to say about this place. I want to go back real soon. And it’s BYOB.

Diner Review №147

If you’re looking to curl up on the couch with some delicious, well packed thai food - well, look no further. The classic dishes of course are top notch, but I cannot recommend the mango sticky rice (yes, with green rice) and cornbread enough. Definitely making this my go to Thai in the city

Food is always fresh & delicious! You can tell they take pride in the dishes they serve. I love going out to eat here! Great atmosphere inside. I have the vegitarian sampler appetizer pictured here. So good!

Such a nice restaurant with amazing staff and delicious food. The Laos sampler comes highly recommended. Also the Ratchada Duck was so crispy with the mango sauce . A must try.

Don't let the rough and ready (but safe) area dissuade you from this funky subterranean restaurant not far from the central train station.

Excellent Thai food -- and legit Asian karaoke -- late into the night. Customers are the entertainment, especially on weekend nights.

Great noodles and rice dishes. Oh and Tom yum soup is on point.

Diner Review №172

One of the better Thai places I have been to outside of Thailand. Really varied menu, dishes that one didn't normally see. I would go there right now if I could!!

Diner Review №173

Delicious and fresh. They made really good homemade pork sausage.

Diner Review №174

Im a Pad See Ew fan and this place gets it right. Perfectly balanced between salty savory and sweet. Noodles have great chew/texture. Beef was tender and well browned. Coconut soup also very well balanced. Had zing from lime and a little sweetness. This is a drive for me but well worth it.

This was the BEST pad kee mao (drunken noodle) I’ve ever had. Halfway through eating, I was like “hold up, lemme take a picture so I can bless my friends and family in a group text.” Then I decided to leave a yelp review to continue the blessing. Your welcome y’all. 10/10 would recommend. (Also had the Buddha dumplings which were also very zen & delicious too)

I went to Ratchada Thai & Laos Cuisine for the first time and really enjoyed my experience. It’s a beautifully designed restaurant with a dimly lit ambiance that makes it great for dinner with friends or a significant other! The service was fast, considerate, and hospitable. This was my first time trying authentic Thai & Laos cuisine so I’m excited to share some of the courses I enjoyed the most!

First, the Tomkha Chicken Soup was great – the flavor and the fact that you eat this with rice reminded me of a curry you might find in more American Thai restaurants. The Crab Fried Rice was plentiful, came with lots of healthy vegetables, and was overall filling. Lastly, the Ratchada Duck was amazing – I enjoyed the crispiness on the outside but the tenderness on the inside. This was served with a delicious sauce and a side of vegetables and mangoes. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an authentic place to try dishes from various regions of Thailand and Laos.

One of the best authentic Thai/Laos spots in the city. The food is always delicious and consistent. The service is also superb - the staff is friendly and keep a clean restaurant. Highly recommend!

Food is always phenomenal. The most authentic and tasty pad Thai I’ve had since living in Thailand. I would have given 5 stars, but my order has been messed up a few times when ordering delivery. They force you to choose a meat when ordering pad Thai. I always choose chicken and write in the comments “only tofu, no meat please” and always call after placing the order to specify that I don’t want meat in my pad Thai. Twice now I’ve been delivered my meal with chicken in it. Please create an option for tofu when ordering. We’ve decided not to get take out anymore, and only go there eat because of this. The food is too delicious to stop going fully though.

Perfect spice dishes, not too spicy and not plain, Perfect! They were crowded. We did have a long wait. Well worth the wait.

Excellent tasting food for Indian palate. Good choice for vegetarians as well

Delicious and good value! I've done vegetarian takeout a few times and it's extremely quick — they were approximately 20 seconds late once and gave me a free drink.

Really cute thai restaurant with great service! The thai iced tea was delicious and the pad thai was incredible too. I went with my friend who was less familiar with thai food and the waitress was so patient with explaining the menu and accomodating. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends in the area.

I just had the best curry of my life at this place. 10/10, absolutely recommended!!

Diner Review №188

Friendly staff. I ordered a number of takeout dishes to share between three people, and not one of us could finish despite the laughably small portions. Everything tasted like bad Chinese takeout. Also, please lay off the salt!

A very nice little restaurant. We went as 6 +2 group and were able to really enjoy the dining. Staffs are very friendly , accommodative , informed (meaning suggesting the food for specific requirement). We ordered both veg and non veg dishes. We really liked the food , portions etc. will def come back and suggest my friends to this place . Top of the item we tasted are reg fried rice , chicken satay. Wild ginger was an added bonus for yummy food.
