We are proud to serve you the most authentic Thai cuisine in Media, PA. We're seeking to provide quality food at affordable prices for all customers. Thank you for supporting a small business.
We came during down time which was between 3pm. As an cook and Asian individual, I was very impressed with the flavors offered here at Thai Spice. Alot of place tone down the flavors to appease less Asian palates but Thai spice does not do that. Everything from the papaya salad, to the Chang mai (kao soi) was flavor and tasted legit. What made the experience totally legit for me was when I asked for some chili oil and I was offered fresh pounded thai chilies (like the stuff I make at home). That's when I knew this was going to be my new favorite thai place. You MUST come here for legit thai food with flavors. The food spoke for itself and the service qS also great. I will be coming back and bringing others.
I want to write this review not for food, but what we saw from outside. We saw all these nice reviews for this place and since we were looking for an authentic Thai restaurant, decided to drive 45 minutes from our home. We parked our car paid for two hours parking and walked four blocks to this restaurant, and what we saw from outside was enough for us to turnaround. Everything looked so disgusting, floors were dirty, glass pain was full of filth, table cloths were dirty. We just couldn’t imagine eating in a restaurant which looked so dirty from the sidewalk, I just can’t imagine to think about the kitchen. We just left and went to a different place to eat. Please clean your place, so people can come and sit down to have a nice meal.
Amazing all-around! I’ve been to a lot of Thai restaurants, definitely is one of my favorites for specifically the flavors. Very rich, very intentional. I got the Massaman curry.
Don’t worry about the name, just because it says “spicy” doesn’t mean that all the food is spicy. You do have options to have mild so don’t even come with any spice at all.
We waited for well over an hour as diners came and went, and door dash orders were filled. Our friends who we were meeting for dinner had to leave before they were served food to put their child to bed. The food never came. The managing staff had no apologies and seemed not to be aware that we hadn’t been served. We finally decided we’d had enough when the manager had told us the food wasn’t even being cooked yet. As we left, we were charged for the three sort of sad appetizers that we were served after 45 minutes. Not a restaurant I’d be clamoring to return to, especially given the abundance of other options in Media.
We have been here several times during the week without issue and everything was delicious. Came here today, on a Saturday night, and there is 1 waitress and 2 people cooking in the back. Everyone in restaurant and picking up food was unhappy because it took forever to get any help and food.
Needed a quick lunch while on jury duty. Super quick friendly service. The Thai Green Curry was delicious!
Food is always delicious! Staff is always so kind. Their Pad See Ew is the best and massaman curry is always amazing. My favorite Pho as well
Absolutely Amazing
Dinner was fantastic but it took an hour longer than expected.

First time trying this restaurant and Thai food. Tommy our waiter was excellent in explaining food. We ordered a mix bunch of food to taste and sample. From the Appetizers, Salad, Soup to the main meal, Excellent taste. Coconut icecream and pudding are delicious. Definitely returning.

Best Thai in Media! Pad Thai paired with Tom Yum is a great combination.
The food and service were outstanding and the prices reasonable. My wife and I split the Massaman Curry and the Drunken Noodle and both were delicious. We finished up with Mango Sticky Rice and that too was excellent. Spicy Thai Kitchen is BYOB which is a plus in my opinion. I highly recommend the Spice Thai Kitchen!
The staff at Spice Thai Kitchen are so kind and accommodating! The food is flavorful and fresh, definitely the best Thai food I’ve had in PA.
I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! My husband and I recently dined inside and their food was amazing! Our waiter was a wonderful young man. Very nice! My husband ordered the Crab Meat Fried Rice and I ordered their Ginger Thai Entree with Chicken. This was my first time trying Thai food and both entrees were DELICIOUS! Our meals were neatly prepared and freshly cooked. I could also tell the vegetables used were not frozen. My only regret is not taking an order to go. Well Done! We will be returning!
Food and Service was good. Will be going back. The Duck with the spicy basil sauce was good
Delicious food and very friendly service.
Was a fan of the old La Na before it went downhill a little before pandemic lockdown. This is in same location but new management and it seems like they are back to providing really good, fresh Thai food! All the vegetables were vibrant and crisp. The sauces were light and fragrant. The establishment seemed to be cleaned up. They could use a dining room refresh but it does give you the feeling of an authentic Thai restaurant, a lot of deep reds, dark browns and black. Service was fun and pleasant! Can’t wait to go back!
Finally a true Thai food in the area.
Been to many Thai place in the area, but the taste is the best here. No doubt!
This was the best Thai food I ever had. I will definitely be back.
Great food! Don’t let spice scare you!! All meals cooked to your liking!! Chicken and cashews was the 💣
10 out of 10 I would 1,000,000,000% recommend!!! first time trying this and I'm blown away, food is amazing the only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't know of this place sooner. I highly recommend the red curry, roasted chicken and coconut pudding♡
Service is always great and the food is excellent- I love the tom kha soup with chicken, chicken satay appetizer, and the green curry with beef entree. Always a good experience and its BYOB.
Drunken noodles were excellent
Excellent Thai food. Easily the best in the Media/Swarthmore/Springfield area. Food is authentic and delicious. Service is polite and efficient despite being limited in terms of waitstaff. Prices are also very reasonable compared to other places.
hands down the best tasting asian restaurant you can get from this area. i mean everything thing here is subpar but if you want a decent take out food in media, i would rate this place the best in town compared to other asian restaurants.
I didn't eat at the restaurant yet but probably will in the future.
if you want to have Asian for take out, order it from here
I got the drunken noodles and mango sticky rice. Other people in my group got the chicken pad Thai and salmon with chili sauce. Was so good! The food was freshly made (HOT) and quick to come out. We look forward to going back.
Spice Thai Kitchen is very good.. it has excellent food choices, excellent cooking and a wonderful group of servers who, I assume, are family members. I love going here and have enjoyed every meal either alone or in group outings.
It is a healthy presentation of fresh food and I go several times each month. If I were closer this kitchen would have me in there once each week. Enjoy!
Had dinner here multiple times now and it’s always authentic and delicious. The curry dishes and drunken noodle are great. They can adjust the spice level of your choosing - 3/5 was perfect for us if you like a bit of spice. There’s never a wait to dine in and the service is attentive. It is byob which is also a nice plus. I highly recommend this place for Thai!
The food here was incredible! We got the massaman curry and the pad thai and both were amazing.
Ordered take out from here, and it was awesome. The red curry is soooo good. Definitely will be eating here again.
This food is about the best Thai I’ve had in years. We had the Thai Red Curry and Evil Jungle Princess for our entrees and tried the fried rice as well as spring rolls. My entree was the red curry and it was A+, my husband loved the Evil Jungle - everything cooked perfectly, nice veggies to accompany and the sauces, spicing - perfection. We did take out but the restaurant has a nice calm vibe. We’ll definitely be back and thank you!

We love it here! I love all the vegetable dishes, the noodle dishes and the curries. The gyoza and potato curry puff are tasty starters and so is the soup. I am a rice lover. They have the best rice in town.
We ordered everything - Tom kha soup, papaya salad, the brilliant “tulip” app and red, massaman & yellow curries with different proteins. Everything was SUPER fresh, spiced and balanced to perfection. Really impressive on the details and enjoyably chill esp. as a BYOB. The “under new management” sign is unnecessary - the 5 star average was deserved and this is the best Thai food we’ve had anywhere near here.
Best Panang curry I've ever had! This place is easily the best Thai place around; I can't wait to try some more from them.
We did take out from Spice Thai Kitchen. Incredibly friendly staff and wonderful food. It’s hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. We looking forward to eating here again.
I’ve taken out here twice and both times the meals were perfect. This is the best Thai I’ve had in the area.
Highly recommended!
I love Thai food. And this place didn't disappoint. All the dishes we had were delicious (evil princess stir fry with shrimps, pad see ewe, spring rolls)
Authentic atmosphere, great service, top notch food at very reasonable price.
I’ve ordered out from here twice now. It is amazing! The won ton soup is the best I’ve ever had and the pad Thai is equally as good. I will be back again and again. Everything is just delicious!
Great food, great service. This restaurant recently changed management.
Simply the best Thai in Media, especially the Pad Thai!
SO SO SO GOOD! The staff is beyond sweet. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was probably the best Pad Thai i’ve ever tried. I also got the veggie Spring rolls, Satay, and the mango with coconut rice. The food is just as good as it was under the old owner. Large portions too! Vibes and atmosphere are still the same as well :) Will be coming back
Food was delicious. Big portion sizes for the price. Staff was super friendly.
Tom Yum noodle soup 🍲 with tofu and vegetables was spicy delicious heaven on a cold wet day! Beautiful atmosphere!!! Great service
This place has amazing food and the staff are super kind and friendly. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Will definitely be going back!
Enjoyed a very nice meal Tom Yum soup and pad thai. Nice atmosphere, quiet, very nice place - will be coming back
Awesome food, great service, price is reasonable.
Quick, friendly service. Good variety and decent prices. We got appetizer platter to share which was tasty with delicious sauces. Our entrees were generous and fresh Thai food! Spice level can vary based on your order.
Love this place
Amazing! The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is fantastic and the food was incredible !
The service was great! The food was fantastic. I think my fiance might leave me for whoever makes this yellow curry. 10/10
Presentation, flavor, spicing, and price! A wonderful combination!
Best Thai food around Media. Good luck!
Excellent food, great service! Proper Thai recipes! Thank you!
The traditional fried rice was delicious but I definitely need to order it spicier next time. I order a 3 star but it felt like it barely had any.
The Massaman curry was my fave! Very yummy
Second time here and food was equally good! Soup, appetizers and curry are top notch!
Staff was very friendly! Curry was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
The chicken Satay and Tom Yum soup were delicious starters, and for the entree, I ordered shrimp Pad Thai which was also very delicious. I also got to try the Massaman Curry which was very flavorful and tasty! Would recommend 5/5!
The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and very helpful.
Delicious Thai food. Best Pad Thai and friendly staffs.
