Sticky rice and black sticky rice! Finally a Tai place that serves it here in Easton! The food was also very authentic. The only problem, no left overs for tomorrow’s lunch!! This was not a dine in review. Grub hub order

Diner Review №2

Charming, sweet places to eat. A hidden gem, Easy to park, and I have never had a bad meal here. Owner goes out of his way to make everything perfect.

I have been a frequent guest of this restaurant for years; and with good reason. ( Five stars for every category.)
This evening, (Thurs. 9/26/24), my server was also excellent on every level. She is customer-focused, knowledgeable, diligent, personable, and very professional. Her service and personality elevated the dining experience to above and beyond the five star rating. Thank you.

Great place ! Consistently good food and very kind, generous staff

Diner Review №8

Great food decent prices. Best thai in the area. I'm updating my review from 4 years ago because I traveled alot and have not lived in Easton for a while. I have never found better thai food anywhere that I've been in the US. There prices are better than those around this area and the portions and care to quality is unmatched.

Diner Review №10

Food was good but nothing super special. Ordered 3 courses and came to ~$40 a person.
Certainly recommend giving it a try!

Diner Review №11

The food was safe, but I realize if your waiter has simple taste buds, then she can or he can give you good advice what the pick

Diner Review №12

I ordered the drunken noodles to go for dinner via the app. There is about six pieces of chicken, five small carrots and two pieces of broccoli while the rest is all noodle. Also, it is not very flavorful and seasons like other dishes at different Thai places.

Diner Review №13

Visited this charming little place today.
The food was pretty good, but there was nothing there to stand out compared to other Thai restaurants.
The waitress never asked about a level of spiciness, and even though we like spicy hot food, the papaya salad was so hot that it was very difficult to eat a soup after!
My favorite dish was the soft shell crab appetizer!
BYOB is always a plus!

Diner Review №20

Consistently the best Thai food in the Valley and one of the only places that actually makes food really spicy if you ask for it.

Diner Review №21

Personally this is my favorite Pad Thai and papaya salad…and trust me I have had ALOT of both from all over the country. Also the Tom Kha Gai soul is fantastic. Great that it is BYOB! The staff is wonderful and friendly! Thanks as always! 🌟💕

Diner Review №22

What a wonderful little restaurant! The food was amazing!

Diner Review №23

My boyfriend and I come here almost every week! The food here is amazing! We always get the same waiter and he’s great. I always recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Diner Review №24

Diner Review №25

Do not order Chicken Satay. Out of 3 sticks, of hard, un chewable, un-brined meat, 1 had a distinct chicken gone rotten stink. Sent it back.
Noodle dishes were nice, though. Not great, but good.

Diner Review №26

Very nice restaurant. Clean and simple decor. The food is absolutely amazing! I had the Thai wings for the first time and they were cooked perfectly, crispy with a medium spicy sauce. The noodle dish was also delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Diner Review №27

Best Thai restaurant in the Easton area!! The ingredients are fresh, tasteful, and savory. Our go to is the garlic lovers. Brian is so patient and kind. We always have a great customer experience with him.

Diner Review №28

The environment was very lovely. Very comfy. A little overpriced and there is a bit of a wait but the food is very good so I don't mind. Took my 3 younger siblings with me and we all enjoyed our meals. Will be taking the rest of my family there very soon! 😄

Diner Review №29

Diner Review №30

Lovely little place. The lunch menu is small, but that means everything has to be made fresh. Drunken noodles, shrimp pad Thai, iced coffee and hot tea was what we ordered. It came with crunchy crunchy spring rolls, too.

The place itself is quite small, so there's only 7 or 8 tables, but it's nice and the service was great.

Diner Review №31

Delicious and consistent. Super nice people. Couldn’t ask for more.

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

Tom Kha soup was perfect! Luscious green papaya salad. Delicious Massaman curry. Don't miss the Fried Banana with Chocolate ice cream!

Diner Review №34

Diner Review №35

Food was just OK. Takeout ready on time. Was not a very cozy dine in experience, from what I could see.

Diner Review №36

Ordered two easy meals through Grub Hub. Never got my food. Called the restaurant and they canceled our order without calling to let us know. The guy who l spoke to clearly didn’t care either. I live down the street and won’t be coming back here. Customer service is not great.

Diner Review №37

They NEVER disappoint. So good!!

Diner Review №40

Food was just okay. Our server was excellent, however some man came in - he seemed to be the owner, we didn't see him - and he started yelling at the servers. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. We won't be returning.

Diner Review №41

Lovely experience. Adorable inside and the food was delicious. Thank you!!

Diner Review №42

Excellent Thai! I'm not normally a big fan of Thai food, but I'm making an exception for this place.
I ordered red curry with tofu and a noodle dish with beef, both from the lunch menu. Both were hot, fresh, and delicious, despite us ordering them for take out. The price was also very fair for the quality and quantity of food.
The inside was clean and cozy. A small restaurant and there aren't many seats. The waitress who took my order was friendly and the food came out quickly.

Diner Review №46

Ordered a dish without mushrooms since I’m allergic, got one with mushrooms on it. My server was apologetic and corrected it right away. Food was delicious,

Diner Review №47

Good food, great service, clean, cozy, friendly.

Diner Review №48

Food was absolutely spectacular. Off the charts dining experience!

Diner Review №49

Came here for my birthday dinner. Were from out of town, environment was adorable our waiter was a young kid who did a great job, and the food was just delicious i couldn't stop eating even when i was full.

Diner Review №50

The chef at 1001 Thai is arguably the best Thai chef in quite a distance. If you’ve never had Thai, it’s hard to understand how absolutely brilliant he is with his craft. The owners clearly take pride in their restaurant. It is a small quant friendly atmosphere. The owners are two of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met. All of the dishes are fabulous, you literally cannot go wrong. You can add different levels of Spicy, or none at all on almost any dish. Best date night place!

Diner Review №51

This was our first time and it was excellent. We ordered take out, we waited 45 min to pick it up and it was worth the wait. Very tasty, we will order again. Next trip I will take pictures to post.

Diner Review №52

Great Food!

Diner Review №53

Take out only but the staff was friendly, the food was amazing, and prices were good for the quality… (not cheap but the food isn’t either! Well worth the dollars).

Perfect spices to warm you heart body and soul… especially on a winter day!

Place is clean, food is delicious. Workers are very nice and welcoming, the place has a great vibe and energy feels good to be in.

Diner Review №64

Nice place, guy serving was nice other then some language issue but he understood, food was not bad. Been here twice

Diner Review №65

Had Drunken 🍜 noodles they were awesome. Small establishment I would recommend making reservation ahead of time.

Diner Review №66

Nice and quaint place. Server was too nice to accommodate us. It was almost closing time yet the service was still great. To top it off, food was amazing. Really delicious authentic thai food. Would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Diner Review №67

The wait staff are very courteous, place is neat and looks homely. The price is great and the quality of the food is excellent. The Thai Dumplings appetizer, in particular, was very meaty and seasoned well. I would definitely be coming back here if I'm in the area.

Diner Review №68

Went today for a first time to this place, food is delicious, I will go back again, and try more if the menu.

Diner Review №69

Good fresh food and good service. Nice atmosphere. Went there for lunch with 6 other people. Had the pad ce ew with pork. Very nice portion. Tasty. Well done! Also had the Thai wings appetizer. Wow. Nice crisp on the outside and moist on the inside.

Diner Review №70

The service is fantastic and everyone is so polite. Four of us enjoyed appetizers and entrees. Thai wings were great... Sweet and a little spicy. Drunken noodle, fried rice and garlic dish with shrimp all good. Surprised us with a great dessert for birthdays . .. Ice cream and banana, coconut pastry. So kind!

Diner Review №71

Delicious, fresh Thai food. Would definitely go back.

Diner Review №72

Small but very nice. Service was very good. They kept apologizing because they were so busy! Never apologize for being busy, that's a good thing. Chicken satay and dumplings for appetizer. Pad Thai for dinner. My husband thought the pad Thai was a little too sweet for his liking. I though it was delicious! We will certainly go back!

Diner Review №73

Sometimes I find myself daydreaming about the drunken noodles and massaman curry!

Diner Review №74

I will start by saying that the food is good, but the person taking the orders is rude.
We called the order in at 7:45. He said they close at 8. The order would be ready at 8:05. Please be on time.
At the end of the order, as he always does, “would you like to leave a gratuity for the server?” I replied - $1.

He replies “ok we will stay after closing -just for a dollar”

I got there at 8:03 and I pulled up in their pickup slot and I called.

He came out the back door, raises the bag in the air, as to say “here”. Then set it down on the wet sidewalk and walked away so that I would have to come get it.

In the past, they hand it through the car window.

Diner Review №75

Excellent authentic food, friendly cool owner.

Diner Review №76

The staff is nice and friendly; the Tom Yum soup was disappointing. I got the large Tom Yum Soup with shrimp, which cost me $12.*, but all I got was broth, some sliced simple mushrooms you buy for $1.99 at the store and some shrimp. I did not think the soup was worth the money; it was quite austere and boring. Maybe other dishes taste better; I’m basing this review exclusively on the soup

Diner Review №77

So we have ordered from here multiple times. Early on they were very busy that some nights they couldn't do take out. Recently we called for take out and the guy that answered the phone was so overwhelmed. I was on hold for 5 mins before he came back on. He took my ordered then demanded I paid with credit card over the phone. (This is fine because corona) then he asked if I wanted to give a tip, I said my husband will give cash. I got a 2 minute lecture on why they didn't want cash etc. I said we always tip in cash so that businesses aren't skimming off the top. He did not like this and finally said "well whatever pay cash then." Come to find out that the previous time we ordered the same guy yelled at my husband for "showing up early" turns out he was yelling at the wrong guy and our order was ready to go. Customer service is the reason we won't be back. Food is ok, but would drive to thai thai 2 in Bethlehem to avoid this guy.

Diner Review №78

Great experience every time I order from here. Friendly staff and a great cook. Always hot and always on time. My go-to is the drunken noodles and I prefer it above and beyond any of the competitors in the area. I'm a regular and I'm never disappointed. Thanks.

Diner Review №79

I really enjoyed the food from here, I am vegan and they made sure to accommodate all my needs for the drunken man noodle dish. They seemed to be pretty busy, I tried it on a Friday night so I expected this especially with take out sales being higher due to everything going on right now. Regardless everything was hot and fresh for take out. There was a small mix up (nothing to leave a bad review about), it was handled very very politely and professionally. The person who took my order was extremely friendly and still was even after. I will be back & recommending this place! Thank you!

Diner Review №80

Just order food tonight for the first time. The food is little bit pricey but it is definitely worth it. Food very flavorful. Decent portion sizes. I will be back..I recommend this place..

Diner Review №84

Incredible food. I always order out and have it delivered. One day, I’m going to dine in and enjoy.

Diner Review №85

Ok meal, not very flavourful green curry, but spicy enough

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

This is one of our favorite restaurants in all of Easton. We’ve tried a few things on the menu and everything we’ve tried has been absolutely amazing. Though our absolute favorite is the Thai crab fried rice. I was super excited to see they’re offering delivery during this time so their customers and neighbors can still enjoy their food! Definitely take a chance on this place if you haven’t yet.

Diner Review №88

We have gone on several times for lunch and have enjoyed it each time. Fresh, tasty, clean, with friendly and prompt service. Curry or stir fry with your choice of protein. Rice noodles, rice, or traditional noodles.... salad or egg rolls as starters. Stop in and enjoy.

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

Great food, good atmosphere, joyful experience.

Diner Review №91

Went recently for lunch. The lunch special that I thoroughly enjoyed was a green stir fry with tofu and a green salad. The server was very professional, attentive and courteous. The salad was a nice side as a starter and was very fresh and tasty. The stir fry was delicious and very fresh. I will definitely return.

Diner Review №92

Diner Review №93

Diner Review №94

Try massamam curry with tofu! Tons of vegan/vegetarian options

Diner Review №95

Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The masaman dish or the green curry is one of our favorites to order. We thought we'd be brave and try ordering the spice level "hot" instead of our usual "medium", and boy...was that a bad judgement call. Still delicious but don't underestimate that heat level!!

Best Thai I’ve had in this area. Everything was excellent from the Thai iced tea to the fried rice and the dumplings and the creme brûlée.

Diner Review №131

In my occupation I have the opportunity to travel extensively, and I am also a bit of a foodie. My wife and daughter have placed orders from here through Door Dash, and it's usually when I'm away on a trip, but always rave about how good the food is. We had the pleasure of dining in this evening and I can say without a doubt this is some of the best Thai food I've had ANYWHERE! The servers this evening were polite and professional, and we enjoyed one of the evening special appetizers to start - avocado spring rolls. Lightly fried, with the avocado and accompanying filling complimenting each other perfectly. We also ordered the spring rolls which were perfectly done as well. I also had a small Tom Kha Gai coconut soup, and I asked to substitute the chicken for shrimp. No problem whatsoever, and the soup was THE BEST Tom Kha Gai I've ever tasted. My daughter had the drunken friend rice, my better half had the All Green Thai Stir Fry with Shrimp, and I had the Fresh Ginger Thai Stir Fry with Shrimp. Each was extremely flavorful, with excellent balance and perfectly cooked. We finished up with a mango with sticky rice dessert that was, again, perfect. The mango was just the right ripeness, easy to cut but not too soft and stringy. Before we left, we were able to talk to Dean & Peter, the proprietors, who were friendly and happy to hear we enjoyed our experience so much. I am already looking forward to our next visit and highly recommend 1001 Thai if you love authentic Thai in a quaint setting.

I give 3 stars only because the food was good. We came for lunch the other day the man who is the waiter is unprofessional, he reeks of booze and cigarettes. We actually saw him outside in front of the main entrance smoking a cigarette while we looked for parking, we should have known there that was a big nono but we did not know he was the waiter. We were completely shocked when he came to our table. He placed a glass of water down and my glass literally smelled like the cigarette from his hand. His cough, his appearance is not what you’d want to see or hear when dining. I’m sorry I do not want to be rude but staff is what makes a place. This place has the potential to blossom with the food just needs the train employees on cleanliness and set designated smoking areas. No business especially a restaurant should allow any employees to smoke directly in front of their main entrance that is not a good look for anyone driving by. And be mindful if we smelled the booze on his breathe we know the fellow employees smell it as well. Although the man is very nice it’s just unprofessional and our experience would have been a 5 star if it wasn’t for him.

Diner Review №151

I like this place. Friendly staff and excellent food. Rich in history

Diner Review №152

Living 40 minutes away we were coming for a bite to eat before going to the State theatre several blocks away and had reservations for 5pm just in case it got crowded for some reason which I doubted at that hour on a Thursday. We were the only people there occupying one of the 8 or 9 tables in the 2 room dining section. The atmosphere is clean and happy but is probably a lot more cozy and quaint in the evening once it gets dark outside as I saw unlit candles sitting around. I lived the fresh flowers 💐 in a little vase on each table. A very nice extra! But my feeling was like sitting in the front room of mainly a carry out service restaurant. No problem we are not the uppity up sosphicated elite social class that always eats at deluxe style restaurants so we didn't mind people coming in and out to pick up their carry outs and were happy with our little table for two next to the front windows on the street side. It was a happy little corner and with the bright yellow walls it reminded me of a splash of sunshine that you would expect coming in through all those windows. Since I like to try new things and my adult son loves Thai food, and afterwards we were going to see a show at 730pm at the Easton State theatre... I picked this restaurant. We were greeted by a young blond haired waitress who seemed in a hurry for some reason, when she handed us the menus I told her that it's our first time and if she had any suggestions. She just said look at the menu first. I had already looked at the menu on line and had read all the reviews but she had already turned her back and quickly walked away. I expected a big crowd to come in any minute since she seemed to be in a hurry. When she returned to take our order I again asked her for her recommendations explaining that I don't know Thai with the hopes that she would love Thai food enough that she would give us a little hint which items are a favorite here. I explained that I had read reviews on line and that drunken noodles or drunken rice might be my safest choice. She simply agreed with an attitude as if to say yeah you don't belong here if you don't like spicey food. So i got the drunken noodles with chicken and my son got the red curry chicken with medium spice. Okay but I don't have any other Thai restaurant to compare it to since never ate Thai before. I just wish the waitress would have been friendlier. After the meal we asked for the desert menu. When she came to ask what we want for desert, she took my menu before I could ask a question about the last desert on the menu called the fried cheesecake that I was interested in trying. Then she turned to my son and asked what he wanted. It was soooo wierd. We are accustomed to waitresses who expect to be tipped to be a little friendlier and patient with questions but instead she acted disgusted that I didn't know Thai food. Or maybe it was her first day on the job and she didn't know the menu either so was insecure and threatened by any question? Maybe just stressed.. I hope she is okay? Right after we started the desert which was sticky rice (very delish) with a scoop of green tea ice cream (yummy too,) she laid down the bill and kept coming by to see if we had the payment ready. I didn't want to make any movement towards payment until we finished our desert. We both work in the customer service industry he is a chef and I am a nurse so we know what it's like to have a bad day... So we'll just let it go at that. You can tell that the owner cares and is really trying by all the added quaint details which makes for a pleasant visit. I probably just expected too much when I read all the 5 star reviews before I came. It's ok and average just don't expect too much then you won't be disappointed.

Diner Review №189

Terrible Experience. When our office called to place an order the women that answered the phone stated the cook wasn't there and she didn't know if she could take our order. She said she needed to call the owner and call us back. We were able to place our order and only gave us half of it. We didn't realize until we got back to our office so we called and the same women informed the cook never looked at the other side of the slip and they were sorry and would bring it right to us. We were about 10-15 mins away. 45 mins later a women came in to our office with a bag that looked like something leaked all over it. A container in the bag wasn't closed and it leaked all over the entire bag inside and out. The food was not good and the service was terrible. We then got a phone call asking for a credit card to process payment for the half of the order they forgot. When I told her we were unhappy with the food and the service she hung up on me. Needless to say we will NEVER order from this place again. I don't want to give any star but its the only way to post this comment.
