When this place WAS opened, it was great! But it’s closed down. The business has been closed for years. I keep trying to suggest edits to Google, but they still will not mark it as closed. It’s now a pool (billiards) hall.
10/10 would recommend!!! Usually I judge a Thai place on their pad Thai (which was delicious btw) but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved their curry and the Tom Yum soup we got. I can’t wait to go back!! The service is great, and when coupled with the absolutely delicious food I can’t give any less than 5 stars. Love that they have healthy dishes too with seafood and veggies!!
I went to this restaurant neither with any expectations nor reading any of the reviews.
To my utmost surprise, this place serves food which is amazing. Taste/Ambience/Quality/Quantity , they top it all.
I had a green curry with papaya salad and both of them were awesome.
Had I been a regular in the area, I would definitely mark this place as a 'Must' try out .
Hungry? My experience with the Jai Thai Restaurant located in Chambersburg, PA. is a great detour for anyone willing to try out something new, sweet & spicy, and healthy in the area. My recommendations are to try out the “Prawns Tempura” for an amazing appetizer for starters, and for the main course meal the “Volcano Chicken” with mixed vegetables. The staff is so friendly and welcoming as well. The overall feel of the restaurant is quite spacious with plenty of seating and appeasing as it serves its purpose. Anyways, come visit (order take out is available), and try out one of their delicious appetizers with Thai Iced Tea at least if you’re in a hurry and you won’t regret it!

No longer is there. It is now a billiard
Doesn't seem to exist anymore.
Love this place! Food and staff are always great. Would definitely recommend!

Its closed down. So remove it.
Closed since September.Great place, nice design, clean, affordable and authentic food. You get Neisha thai quality food which is a restaurant in Tysons Corner DC , right here in your backyard.
This is very good authentic Thai food. Wish I could get it more often. It is very special place.
Because our daughter introduced us to Thai food and it is so good there.
We have traveled extensively. We ordered Pad Thai and something called volcano chicken. The volcano chicken was a plate of grease soak chicken nuggets. There was no spice with the volcano chicken. it wasn't the least bit spicy as expected by the name.
The Pad Thai was just noodles, having no sweet and sour flavor. The shrimp tasted like they came out of a freezer from a year ago. Could not detect The tamarind. I would never eat there again.
Great food and service.
Flavor is decent. Spicy levels are WAY off, which can ruin a purchased meal. Being familiar with most cultures of food, as well as "spicy" levels...particularly in a BYOB setting, its imperative to monitor your seasoning well to create a return on investment, and pair well within suggestions w/beverage choices.
Volcano chicken is very good! I love how they scale the spicy options. I'm a 6 but you may want less.
The duck was amazing. So glad I came.
Great, fresh food. Nice service staff. Clean. Good prices. Highly recommend.
Pad Thai was ok, fried rice was good but the som tam which is the papaya salad was not acceptable, it was not authentic or let me be honest it wasn't even good tasting.
Excellent Thai food. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Chambersburg. The restaurant is chilly/drafty though so bring a sweater. Also it is a family friendly restaurant but there is not a diaper changing station in the bathroom.
Food was excellent, service awesome!
Amazing food, Ian was an amazong server, amd ot was an amazing experience! Thank you!
Food was great and had a nice selection. Only down side to the night was that the service was so slow. There was only 3 tables in the restaurant and we sat waiting for over a half hour to see a server again after our food was dropped off. No one came to check on us and make sure everything was ok. Finally had to flag down the 2nd server in the restaurant to get a box. Will definitely be back for the great food just hope the service is better next time.
Delicious authentic Thai food cooked fresh to order. We love it & eat there often. Try it & you will too!
Love this place! The service is great! This is my 2nd time here and it's still out of this world delicious. The server is so sweet and helpful! Best thai around.
The people are so friendly and the food is delicious. One of my favorite restaurants!
The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The food is very delicious and you receive a large portion a food. I would highly recommend this restaurant or anyone who enjoys Thai food.
My husband and I love this place. The food is always delicious. The curry (literally all of their curry dishes) and the rad na are fantastic and I find myself craving it all the time. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating to special orders. We have recommended this place to our friends and family and we will all keep coming back for more!
It's a shame this gem is so hidden behind a Wendys in a strip-mall because the food is AMAZING!!! I got the Bangkok Seafood stirfry (medium spice). Once I finished enjoying the beautiful presentation, I took a sip of the broth. That sip made me want to dive into the flavors of the vegetables, mussels, shrimp, scallops and calimari. The fresh basil made the dish complete! Medium spice was perfect for my taste, though I probably could take just a little more spice. Very delicious and HEARTY seafood dish! For the money I was impressed. I've been cooking in restaurants for nearly 30yrs and understand food cost of seafood. I feel it was a really fairly priced dish for what I paid for! I'll be back!
One of the best Asian restraurants Ive been to anywhere. #4 spice was pretty spicy. Modern feeling inside.

Great staff, super good food, and clean! I had the Seafood soup and I will definitely be back for more.
Pad Thai was some of the best I've had!
Excellent food and service was very fast and pleasant.
The food was amazing, the service was excellent. Especially considering there was only 1 server. He did an amazing job. We had our food quickly and he checked back frequently.
5 stars for the food
Store was neat and clean, liked they have outside dining.
Service very slow both times, but the food will keep us coming back.
Had to wait really long for my To Go order that had been called in
Best Thai in restaurant that I've had, after Duangrats in Va. Only minus is the building, which is what it is. They've made huge effort to soften a huge shell in a strip mall, but one can only do so much. If we were in a group, it would be great. Great parking a plus.
But we were there for food and it didn't disappoint. We tried phad Thai (very good ), barbeque beef app (ok) , chicken, shrimp mango curry, very good, and pork massaman was excellent. 40 min drive for us but I would met friends there or bring carryout if I we're in that area.
Lovely ladies working there who were very friendly. I wish them well and recommend you try.
Oh, and BYOB Singha!
The food is absolutely delicious. But the service is awful the waiter was reaching over us then he spilt sauce all over the floor and my mom and didn’t even notice....
Food was great. Good service. Will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
Excellent experience for my first time having Thai food.
LOVED the food, the service, the staff, the appetizer, the menu, the decor, the prices. The owner is so genuine, sincere and a hardworker dedicated to improving customer experience. I'm so happy Chambersburg has this new restaurant!!
Amazing service! I got food in my hair, but it came right out just fine. Big comfy booths. Big delicious chicken and broccoli pieces. Spicy spicy spicy!
Great Thai food
Food is great!
Excellent Thai food! Love this place
It's great, I myself suggest the orange chicken! It's sooooo good.
Delicious dinner with spiciness varying from 1-10 according the adventurousness of eaters.
It was my 9 yr olds introduction to Thai food, he loved the Pad Thai and the Pad Woon Sen, the food was great! He is excited to try other things!
The food is good. But disappointed with today's service. It it wasn't because of that, I would give 4 stars instead of 3. The service was great the first time I was there. No complaint, whatsoever. But this time the service was below par because the table wasn't cleared when needed to. That is definitely my pet peeve!! I probably won't go back there for a while. Hope they improve this issue. Still wish them well and success in business.
Delicious meals combined with very friendly and helpful service and pleasant atmosphere, make for an amazing dining experience. This is the type of place that you try and then want to return to the very next day.
Grateful to have these folks in the area and looking forward to trying many more offerings.
So excited to have a newer thai restaurant in Chambersburg! I have been there a few times and the food is always excellent, the space is clean, but the service still needs a little work. There seems to be one waitress and she is great, I just hope as they continue to grow they can hire more help. During busier dinner times I have experienced there, no one ever came around to refill our drinks and we had to track someone down to pay our bill each time. The lack of attention didnt seem to be on purpose, they just needed a second person on the floor to help. I will continue to eat at Jai Thai as I am sure the service will only get better.
Excellent food and service. Restaurant was clean and tidy.
Ate here a couple of weeks ago with family and friends. The food was delicious and I am in love with thier coconut lime tofu soup! Service was wonderful and they are super nice 😊👍 I definitely give this place a huge thumbs up! I wonder if they sell that coconut lime soup in gallon sized containers 🤔 Anyway, you must stop in! Food was not greasy and it was fresh! Lots of flavor and thier Thai ice tea is so gooooood😋😋😋
Jai Thai is fantastic and I'm so glad that they have setup shop in Chambersburg! My favorite is their Masaman curry, it's a bit different than most, but the pineapple gives it such a great flavor!
The Basil Duck is fantastic!
We stopped here for a late lunch at 3:30 only to find out that they're closed from 3:00-4:30 everyday for their break and to "clean".
10/10 would recommend!!! Usually I judge a Thai place on their pad Thai (which was delicious btw) but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved their curry and the Tom Yum soup we got. I had an outstanding meal at this new restaurant. We had green curry, Hawaiian rice, orange chicken, mango salad ... and more. The atmosphere is great, the owners are extremely gracious, and service was exceptional. Wonderful dining experience.
I wanted to take off half a star for a simple problem but I cant bring myself to complain much.
I ordered a dish with several kinds if seafood and chicken over noodles. I ordered to go so I didn't notice until I got home that i only got chicken over noodles. It's still really tasty. The Tom Kha is what I judge thai places on. It is perfect. I'll be back, but I'm checking my tray next time 😉
Great Thai food! Delicious complimentary Tom Yum Soup, fabulous Crab Rangoon and curries.
Visiting from L.A., have eaten lots of Thai food. Great food and friendly folks. Try it !
