The food was good and they were very clear about what would be gluten-free and what was not. The restaurant was a little in disrepair. One of the bathrooms was out of order. Seemed a little rundown, but I would not be afraid to go back a second time. I got the pad Thai and the serving was large enough that I was able to make a second meal out of it. Also, you’ll get a great laugh. If you get to visit the bathroom that is working.

Amazing cashew nut chicken and garlic pepper chicken. My husband and I love coming here for work/date lunches!! Super nice staff too!

The food was excellent and it came from the kitchen in an amazingly quick fashion.

- Thai basil fried rice spicy. (Felt Portion size bit less)
- Pinapple fried rice medium spicy

$34

Diner Review №7

Food was delicious. We ordered pineapple fried rice and Thai basil fried rice . Small portion size

Diner Review №8

I was disappointed in the shrimp wonton soup. The wonton’s were not good. They tasted old and pre-frozen. Let me add that this bowl of soup was $22. It’s one of the most expensive things on the menu. To top it off, there was only two shrimp in the whole bowl. Seems pretty stingy and definitely not worth $22.

AMAZING FOOD AND EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!! Our server was very knowledgeable and personable! Food came out super fast and really fresh! I really wish we were local because we would be eating here all the time! 100% recommend!

Diner Review №16

Great experience. We walked in and ordered food to go. The food came out quite quickly and the service while we ordered and waited was spectacular. The young man who took our order was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and great value. Highly recommended for a Thai Food Fix!

Diner Review №17

Fastest service of my life. Got the Pad Thai (chicken/spicy 1) and it was absolutely delicious.

Diner Review №18

Food is great, but know that the portion sizes are HUMONGOUS!!! (Which isn't bad either)

It's 3x the usual amount. So order accordingly:)

Diner Review №19

It looked like just a hole on the wall but it's actually a good size when you go in. The place was dark and warm, it was just about 86 degrees outside. Didn't look appealing to me but we went ahead because we were hungry. The food is okay, nothing special, just something I would get from any other places. I've been to a lot of Asian restaurants in the world and this didn't quite make it on the list of a few best ones. However, I've seen how the waiters here work so hard to serve, which is note worthy.

Diner Review №20

Best Tom Yah soup I’ve ever had!!! Such great flavor, perfect creaminess not too heavy. Served very fast. My husband loved the Gaeng Sub Pa Rod Curry. Very generous pricing for the gourmet quality. The restaurant was peaceful and nice vibe back ground music.

Diner Review №23

Fried rice was really good as was both pad kee Mao and the pad thai. Ribs left something to be desired so maybe pass on those.

Diner Review №24

Loved the Kung Pao. Probably the best I've ever had. Super quick and kind service. Thanks!

Diner Review №25

For the last couple years, Thai Village was my hidden gem, a place I would eagerly travel to from Salem for its high-quality food and affordable pricing. We used to spend approximately $30-45 for two people, including tip, which made it a great value.

However, recent visits have left me disappointed. Prices have increased significantly, and you can now expect to pay $45-55 without tip. This price hike, unfortunately, isn't justified by the current quality of food or dining experience.

On our last two visits, we noticed an unpleasant increase in the burnt or charred taste of our dishes. One incident was particularly alarming when a large piece of carbon from the wok almost caused me to break a tooth. This indicates that the woks are not being properly cleaned, resulting in a burnt taste in the food.

Additionally, the restaurant itself seems to be in need of repairs. The overall experience feels diminished, and paying more for a lesser experience is frustrating.

To the owner, please consider your clientele. As loyal customers, many of us are trying to support local businesses, but are also not made of money and unfortunately have to budget to eat out. The increase in prices combined with the drop in quality and the state of the restaurant makes it hard to justify returning here anymore. I do give props to the servers who were always very hospitable.

At this point, I recommend looking for other dining options. The increase in prices combined with the drop in quality and the state of the restaurant makes it hard to justify dining here anymore.

Diner Review №26

After being seated the waitress informed us that new menu pricing was in effect today and that the menu prices were not valid as shown on the menu. The seats and table were sticky, both my plates had dust and old food stuck on it and I spat my water back because there was debris in it. When the food arrived it was bland, the egg rolls were thick, gummy and clearly directly from the freezer. Noodle dish and green papaya salad both lacked flavor. For one entree, four egg rolls and one salad the cost was $47. The portions were standard but we left half of the food on the table as it was so subpar. That was our first time there and it was just disappointing for how much money we spent. To my knowledge my girlfriend said she didn’t like the food to the man that took our money and he said nothing to what she said. I am not bashing you, I’m not trying to be mean or exaggerate by any stretch of the imagination. This was our experience and I’m rating one star because I spent almost 47 dollars for this experience. I think it’s fair to say that any one would not be happy with this same experience. I would still be willing to give Thai Village another chance.

Diner Review №37

Great for “American” Thai food enthusiasts

Diner Review №38

I ordered the green curry with chicken. Fantastic. So much depth to the flavor . Couldn't finish my bowl with big portions. Inside felt old but very good service. Great price. Stopped here while traveling. Can't wait to go back.

Tom Kha Soup 🍲 🤤😋🔥🔥🔥🔥

Diner Review №40

If you’re planning on eating here remember to tip there was a miss cummitation and the lady got very upset before we could explain she was making comments about us. So we gave her cash so she could stop being upset

Diner Review №41

Gone twice. Only hiccup was an issue with online ordering. Love green curry.

Diner Review №42

Nothing mind blowing but overall a good experience.

Diner Review №44

I was in town for a week. I ate there for dinner every nite. The food was amazing and the owners so so nice. In fact each time I came back for the same dishes the portions got bigger. How I miss this place

Diner Review №46

I will be owner. contacted me and made the change to our bill and I was told the computer is fixed. I will be returning- My first time eating here. The food was amazing. I had the Yellow Curry with pork and Pupaya salad. Amazing flavors. The Curry heat was perfect on this rainy Oregon day. The salad heat was just right.

When we received our bill of course like many restaurants (there were six people) gratuity was included no problem. Menu said 18% we were charged 20. Then, we were hit with-we only accept three credit cards, no problem two pay with cc and other two with cash.
Then we were hit with each person paying a 20% gratuity because the bill was split into four payments 😵‍💫.
Then we were told they did not know how to operate the computer to make the needed adjustments 🫣.
By this time, we are up to 80% gratuity. Then we were told no its only 20% even though the menu says 18%.
I literally took out my phone and with the calculator did the math, yep over charged, but because they did not know how to "operate " the computer they could not make the adjustments.
Bottom line, if your staff do not know how to operate the computer system and your customers are getting ripped off. You lose customers. Do not give your hard earned money to restaurants who do not train their staff to be competent to use the equipment, especially when handling money. Not returning.
I am choosing not to show a photo of the food.

Diner Review №51

Excellent food. A go to place for authentic meal.

Diner Review №52

Chicken pad Thai was incredible best I’ve ever had. We got medium and it was the perfect spice level. We also got shrimp salad rolls and I wasn’t a huge fan. I’ve had better ones else where and their peanut sauce was odd. Definitely will be back for pad Thai!

Diner Review №53

Came here with friends, family style, all the food was delicious. Service was great and the atmosphere inside was very warm and inviting. The decor was awesome too.

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

Fantastic place to get classic Thai cuisine. They're always super nice and their service is very quick as well. I love coming here on my lunch break; their food is so good.

Diner Review №56

I have eaten here around 15 times and I have NEVER had a bad experience! The service is fast, atmosphere delightful, and the staff is so kind. The food is dee-lish! I would eat their Tom Yum soup every day if I could! Perfectly sweet and sour and savory. Same with their Pad Thai! I've never had Pad Thai better than this one. Their Pad See Ew is my favorite! The thick rice noodles are the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Best spot in Wilsonville!

Diner Review №57

Got an order via take out . We got pad Thai and kung pao , it probably was the best I have had in this area and was quite surprised honestly. All the people on here giving one stars are completely ridiculous to me, and I read them (like the one about the pens and others lol) This place is bomb as hell and I will be continuing to return. Thank you Thai village , you made my day off just that much better

Diner Review №58

Food was good. Have had better Thai food in many other places. Not sure if they were in a rush because they were about to close the restaurant.

Hand's down the best Thai food in Wilsonville! We always order the Pad Thai with prawns and the Panang Curry with Chicken. Perfect for eating in or taking out. We often grab our food as take out, but eating in is just as enjoyable. Friendly, quick service. Online ordering is easy, as well.

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

Diner Review №82

Diner Review №83

Thai Village is great! The flavors are wholesome and tasty, the textures are cooked just right and the cost is reasonable. They are our go-to Thai spot! Ordering online for pick up is a breeze too with payment built in so all you have to do is sign when you pick up. Most orders seem to be ready to pick up within 15-20 minutes. We haven't dined in yet but may in the future.

Diner Review №84

Excellent food! The Sukiyaki was amazing although the first dish came with standard spice which was too much for our kids. They quickly brought a fresh dish of sukiyaki without the spice. Really great food and excellent service!

Diner Review №85

It’s typical strip mall Thai restaurant. I have to admit the food and service was very good.

Diner Review №86

Diner Review №87

Excellent food with fast and friendly service. I would dine here again.

Diner Review №88

Absolutely love this place! I get the pad ped. Eggplant and basil 🤤
Oh and the Thai iced tea is soo good. Not too sweet.

Diner Review №89

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

The dry pre-cooked thin chicken in all dishes is a major turn-off cheap shortcut (I have eaten great thai since 1982). Also, they keep it cheap by using less expensive boring vegies (carrots, onion, Japanese round eggplant, bamboo shoots, green pepper (not red)). Glass of wine had to be replaced because it was so old. I only come here when my other better thai in town is closed. I always feel disappointed even with my adjustments to entrees.
I am always surprised they’re still busy (nice atmosphere I guess). Too bad they don’t do too well with their food.
Also, the wait staff are so cold they’re wearing down jackets and sweatshirts (not exactly professional, but needed to stay warm!).

Diner Review №100

My families and I had great experience at Thai village. Our food were amazing, quickly served, huge portion, and the staff were great. The Larb chicken was authentic and with just a little tiny touches would be like having the food on the streets in Thailand. Pad Thai was a little bit too saucy but that’s kinda personal preference. However, hands down to the quality of Thai jasmine rice, mango ice cream with sweet warm sticky rice, and of course the cashew nut chicken. I definitely recommend their stir fried options, they are 🔥 guys. The aroma was really authentic, and it was not overdone at all because the vegetables were so sweet and crunchy. Aroi Mark krub! Thank you for the amazing food, we had a great time!

Ps. It is definitely on the pricey end but with the restaurant’s decorations and the quality of the ingredients, they are worth the price.

Los 3 platillos que probamos estuvieron delicioso, este lugar nunca nos defrauda, siempre tiene un gran sabor.

Diner Review №104

Response to owner: Your response says everything about what is wrong with your business approach. A higher price is understandable, but not with lower quality. Many businesses have survived by raising prices while being transparent and maintaining quality. And cooking rice properly has nothing to do with either.

It's tough to give such a low rating to this place, it used to be so good. We have gotten their chicken fried rice at least once a month for several years, and there has been a dramatic change in the last few months. I assume new owners since I don't recognize anyone from before. Mushy rice clumps, no flavor, less chicken and $3 more. Super sad to say we won't be giving them another chance.

I recently moved to Wilsonville this past year, and I must say... I loved Thai Village!! I was starving, I stopped in 20min before they closed to order Chicken Pad Se Ew to go, with a side of peanut sauce. It was packed full of flavors that I haven't been able to find since moving. The staff was very nice, and I think my order was ready in 10min. Simply delicious! I will definitely be back

Diner Review №107

The service is excellent. I've eaten vegan BBQ pork skewer w/sandwich, and real BBQ pork skewer. also their pork pan fried noodles....delicious. they serve menus for regular meats, and an entire VEGAN menu. YUM YUM

Diner Review №108

Did not like their sweet n sour....it was watery, no flavor n very little chicken

Diner Review №109

Food no bueno...

Diner Review №110

Diner Review №111

Just had dinner there with my wife as we were passing through Wilsonville and ordered my go-to, Pad Kee Mao, Thai hot. It didn't taste like any Pad Kee Mao I've had before. I wasn't even sure it was Pad Kee Mao. Thankfully, I won't be going back.

Diner Review №112

The reviews are deceiving. The portion size of the egg rolls and chicken teriyaki is very small for the price. The chicken teriyaki also does not come with any sides, I expected more for $20. The green curry is very bland and does not taste like anything. I would save your money and go elsewhere.

Diner Review №113

Diner Review №114

Diner Review №115

Diner Review №116

Great pad thai noodles was very quick getting them prepared for me for a takeout

Diner Review №117

This is another Thai restaurant in an unassuming strip mall. The interior is nice and the music an eclectic mix of lounge music.

I started with a Thai iced coffee which had an excellent mix of coffee, milk, and sweetness.

The red curry beef was good and a bit sweet. Generous in portion size and the amount of beef.

I’d recommend this place for Thai if you’re in Wilsonville.

Diner Review №122

Diner Review №123

Good food. Nice staff.

Diner Review №124

Very bad experience we have ordered pineapple fried rice for me. The rice was terribly sticky . I can see little portion of rice . Rest of the plate was filled with very big pieces of broccoli, and pineapple. No spices in it . The rice taste completely bland and yuck. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I will never visit this place again .

Diner Review №125

Parking lot was full, so parked nearby as it was Sunday and other business were closed. The restaurant was very popular, had wait 15 minutes to be seated. The staff were polite and friendly. Ordered our favorites salad rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce, Tom lum soup with seafood, evil jungle prince noodles with shrimp, and larb salad with pork. The flavor of all the food was delicious.

Diner Review №126

We ordered Golden Noodles and Rad Nah both with tofu and medium spice. It was flavorful and tasty!! We will definitely visit again to try their other dishes!

Diner Review №127

Fantastic food and friendly service. Huge portions. Love having leftovers.

Diner Review №128

My Pad thai and Pad see euw were so good. The best Thai food that I've ever eaten. The server was very nice and very polite. I highly recommend

Diner Review №129

Good solid place for Thai food in Wilsonville. The food is always good and consistent. The service is fast and quite friendly. It is nice and quiet so it makes it a good place to sit and visit with friends or family.

Diner Review №130

Good & spot on for Thai , service good , nice & clean inside , very friendly staff

Diner Review №131

The online ordering process was easy
Order was ready at pickup
We ordered chicken satay, lemongrass chicken, and massaman curry.
Requested the curry to be hot but it was more mild/med.
The lemongrass chicken had a good marinade on it but the overall dish with peanut sauce on it isn't a style of Thai dish I like.
The chicken satay had a good marinade but the cooking style of grilling wasn't there.
Place will do in a pinch.

Diner Review №132

Diner Review №133

Diner Review №134

I often order a fried rice dish in Thai places.
Though I enjoy the curry that is traditional, I enjoy it even more without. The service here was warm, professional, and pleasant. They gladly let me order sans the curry.

Something about how they do the rice here... wow! This was so delicious! Ranks up there w the best fried rice dish I've had.

We saw another couple there with a rather ornery, impatient curmudgeon male express his dissatisfaction with a wait time.

The server's response was out of earshot, as she spoke more meekly to him, but ever courteous and apologetic. There may have been a mistake that caused a delay to their food. I can't know. But I do know that in the time thereafter, he was rude, demanding, shaking his head, impatient and not understanding at all.

He seemed easily perturbed and I'd hate to have to deal with him. But the server did so with a grace and considerateness that clearly went unrecognized & over this man's head. It seemed she could do no right by him at that point, as his mind was made-up to be an a&&hole about this (possible) minor infraction.

To sum, the servers worked hard, are hard working, and always pleasant & aplomb despite the occasional poopy pants personality.

There was a carry-out rush that we witnessed soon after we sat down. This place is pretty popular, it seems, with the few who know about it and it's muted charm.

Diner Review №135

Food was cold

Diner Review №136

This is what they call pad see eww...look like they mashed the noodles up this was sad and bad representation of Thai food ...very bland

Diner Review №137

I stop here any time I'm near Wilsonville, usually getting Evil Jungle Noodles. I've yet to find a place that makes them quite the same, or as good. If we have time to eat in, we'll get coconut ice cream with sticky rice as well.
The employees are always super nice.
I used theonline ordering for the first time today, and it was pretty straightforward. I've called in orders to go often and there's never been a mistake, which is great.

Diner Review №138

My family has been regulars here for years. We're Thai food fanatics, and Village Thai is one of the few Thai restaurants south of Portland that consistently puts out excellent food. Cashew Chicken stir-fry and Panang Curry Chicken are our favorites. We've lived here 16 years and we eat there about three times per month. I just did the math... in over 500 times we've been to Thai Village we've never been disappointed.

Diner Review №141

Diner Review №142

Would have been a better experience if the heat was working but I can't mark them down for that, LOL. Food and service were top notch. I had something with duck and it was good

Diner Review №143

About 5-10 minutes after picking up our takeout order, we received a call from the restaurant telling us that we took another customer’s food along with our own. They asked us to bring the food back. This was clearly the restaurant’s mistake, as we only took the food they set in front of us when we picked it up. But rather than argue with them, we drove back and returned the food. I certainly hope they did not give that food to the customer who ordered it. Even without a pandemic, this would be an unacceptable request from a restaurant. But during a pandemic it is absolutely shocking. We got home to a lost appetite and $87.40 worth of lukewarm food.

Diner Review №144

Very Good

Diner Review №145

Delicious food, clean and comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff. I love this place! It’s my new regular spot, I’ll make the drive. Soooo good!!

Diner Review №146

We dine regularly here and the food and service are always stellar. But there is no central heat currently in Dec. 2021! We were miserably cold. Heads up if you plan to dine it. We ate quickly before the meal chilled.

Diner Review №148

This place is exceptional. Two things stand out: amazing food and a warm, friendly staff. The owner is a stunningly beautiful woman who works alongside her staff and has created a very warm atmosphere with excellent service. I discovered this place on a business trip near my hotel several months ago and I’ve never been disappointed. The Tom Yum Noodles are a favorite of mine. The quality of the food makes this a must for Thai food lovers and the prices are quite good. I expect I will eat here every time I’m in Portland! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Delicious flavor and fast service. Though my Teriyaki dish was a little overly filled with ginger, the meat was very juicy and delicious. Rice and veggies were well cooked and the bill even came with mints (decently priced too). I'll definitely be back to try more dishes soon.

Diner Review №179

Food was well done. Vegetables were not over cooked. Flavors were well balanced. Service was attentive. There was a lot of space between me other patrons. The chicken was succulent.

At 5:20pm I watched the female receptionist take about 8-10 pens at the front desk out of the dirty pen cup & placed them into the clean pen cup without cleaning them & then turned around & walked back into the kitchen. Thanks Thai Village, way to help fight the Covid-19!

Diner Review №183

I paid $15 for duck curry with veggies and sticky rice. The rice came in a box, and inside that box was a plastic bag, and inside that bag was microwaved rice. One star out of five because I can't give zero stars. I won't demand a refund, but that's just because I wasn't eating in at the time and I'd have to go back to do so.

Diner Review №195

I don't even know where to begin 🤔
Literally the best curry I have had in my life, was the massaman curry (I did no carrots), and oh my LAWD was one of the tastiest things I have ever devoured in my life. Next let us move onto the creamy wonton which is a magnificent version of a crab puff but 1,000 times more delicious. Onwards we also delighted ourselves with chicken sa-tay which were beyond this world and the peanut sauce was on point! My lady enjoyed her extremely generous portion of her pad-thai which she sang about beautifully. Last but not least....the fried bananas with the chocolate SAUCE OMFG!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Please support this family & their wonderful restaurant people. Some of the best food you will ever eat in your life.

Diner Review №198

Great little place right off the main drag in Wilsonville. You know you're in for a treat at a thai restaurant when you see pictures of the Thai royal family. The food arrived, and we were not disappointed. Excellent flavor if not a bit on the sweet side. Cant wait to go back to try more! Definitely recommended.
