This is our families favorite Thai place. 2 of my kids are vegan and one is gluten free and they all have options. They tend to get different curries the most. My personal favorite is the fried tofu. The dipping sauce that comes with it is so yummy! Always promt service.
I ordered medium spice level pad Thai and can't finish it. My nose is running. My lips are numb. My stomach is hurting. I do well with spice and love love love a bit of spice in my Pad... This was too much. I'm irritated
Don't go here. I've never written a review before, but I'm so bothered - I feel compelled. I ordered a wrap, expecting a wrap - and I got a chunk of romaine lettuce with shredded chicken on the side. Nothing was wrapped. So I called them to ask about it....maybe get the order I was expecting and the lady on the phone was so rude. I explained nothing was wrapped and she said "Well that's what we call it." And she hung up.
Got take out. The food was good but the price was high. I had the Mango Chicken, a very nice dish. No one is eating there, just a lot of to-go orders. I have the feeling that table service is poor. I base this on how long you wait to be greeted.
We come here often, and unfortunately it has been so inconsistent lately. We get to go orders. My husband has complained the last couple times that the veggies in his curry are under done. Last night I got the massaman curry. The potatoes and carrots were hard as rock and it wasn’t very good because of it.
No host. Waited 10 minutes to be seated with no one in the restaurant. Had to go into the kitchen to get someone's help.
Served wrong items. Not vegetarian. Awful experience. Such a shame. It used to be a nice restaurant. Won't be going back.

Food is so bland. They either use too much spice or none at all. Hardly any meat, so you're paying for mostly noodles or vegetables.

Good food. Quality ingredients. Asthenic recipes. Friendly servers. Could use some more decorations inside or something other than a mostly plain room. But the food is what I come for in the end. Recommended.

I have been getting takeout from here for years, and it has always been delicious. In the past 6 months or so the food has become very bland and not nearly as good as it was. I’m wondering what changed. Please go back to your old recipes because I want to keep supporting you, but the food is no longer something I look forward to
I enjoyed the appetizer sampler plate, but was too full to eat much of my curry. 😅 Very nice staff.
Great thai food reasonable prices.
Delicious 😋 they have great food and great service.
I asked for NO SPICE in my husbands curry due to stomach ulcers. And the food we got was SUPER spicy. I will not come back here for food. I recommend silk Thai in independence Oregon. Worth the drive. Their food is always amazing
Great quality Tai food. Quick service. Very friendly. Reasonably priced.
We visited this place for the first time with my family. We were pleasantly surprised with their food and service. The staff was super nice and the dishes were really tasty. A perfect combination of flavors. Not too salty or spicy. Just delicious! I loved the fact that the tofu was fried instead of just plain like at most other places. I don't like mushy, flavorless tofu in my soup. Their tofu was sooooo good! I'm getting hungry just by writing this review. We'll definitely be coming back in the near future.
I have always had a great experience eating in and ordering out from here. The Thai green curry is so friggin good!
Best Thai food in Salem
Still in my work clothes I came in and asked "could I use the bathroom before I order?" She responded with "you have to buy something to use the bathroom." I responded..... "Can I use the bathroom before I order?" It was all down hill from there. 1st time at this place I live down the street figured I give it a try being in the mood for some pho. I ordered.... no pho and I was already there so I just went with the fried shrimp. She came back with my food in a to go box saying we are closed. When I sat down, even ordered I didn't get any water or offered a beverage. An elder couple came and was straight catered with water until they said never mind and left, I looked at the lady having a great time talking it up with a customer. I just let it ride and didn't say anything. My first experience at this place was not good as well as a last minute cooked meal which she could of said we are closing soon do you want to gi so.ewhere else because the food is gonna suck and still be full price. Lol!which was not good as well as no sauce for my shrimp because they had no pho to what I came for. I had a bad experience and was really craving pho. 1st and last time I go there.
This is probably my least favored option for Thai food in the area. This is definitely not the majority opinion, as I know some people who swear by it, but I also know a lot of people who agree with me that it's not great.
The two problems I have with recommending this place are the service and the food.
Service is very, very slow here. I can't be sure, but I think they very much prioritize takeout orders, as it's not uncommon to see quite a few takeout orders come out of the kitchen while waiting for the server to come over and take your order, and then many, many more takeout orders come out while you wait for your food to eventually arrive - and it always arrives very piecemeal - so some people get their food 10-15 minutes before everybody else has gotten theirs. Makes for a really frustrating experience.
The quality of the food is fine - it doesn't seem like it's cheaply made, or made out of sub-standard ingredients. It seems mostly fresh, though not the freshest. The problem is that all of the dishes I've tried just don't taste like I'd expect, and have slightly off ingredients - like stuff that's not normally in the dish other places. I'm having a hard time remembering which ingredients I'm thinking of... They also don't make food spicy no matter how insistent you are that you want it actually hot.
The only time I eat here is if I'm with somebody who insists this is where they want to eat, and when I do, I just have to grin and bear it. It's not like the food is awful, just not great, and nowhere near as good as several of the other really good Thai places in town.
I know a few people who would consider themselves "regulars", and when I've gone with them, the server/owner seems to recognize them and say "hi", but it frankly doesn't seem to improve the speed/quality of the service, and the food is still just not that great. Again, serviceable in a pinch, but go somewhere else if you don't want to wait forever for mediocre, not spicy Thai food.
Great food and service, ordered to go and it was ready when I got in, food was excellent will be back!
What a gem of a place to have a wonderful meal. We just had the most delightful curry and drunken noodles. Highly recommend!
Food is delicious 😋
Great food decent price good luck ordering takeout between 4 and 6pm just keep trying if you get a busy signal
Best Thai food in salem. Curries are outstandIng. Make sure and order "thai hot"
New edit - food is no longer as good. The last 2 times have bee mediocre. New chef?
They have delicious pineapple fried rice and pad tai!
This has become one of our spots to eat when we are in south Salem. Never had a bad meal, only once did we get a meal that wasn’t exactly correct. Avocados were missing from an avocado curry - hence the drop in star for food. Service is good. A LOT of takeout at this place. For every one dine in we probably saw two or three times the number of takeout’s.
My favorite Thai restaurant for gluten free (celiac) options, and the service was fast and friendly.
Excellent food nice and friendly servers
I ordered delivery. THE worst green curry I have ever had.
They poured sugar in to this dish to cover their ineptitude. This should be a spicy, sweet, savory and complex dish and they bastardized it with gross amounts of sugar. No proper chef would allow this garbage to leave their kitchen. I threw the whole order away and am pissed I wasted my time and money in this farce.
Food smells great. Great customer service
I have never visited this place, I have only ordered via door dash. The mango sticky rice is unmatched, the best sticky rice I’ve had with a cool bright green color and the peanut noodles are phenomenal as well as the Thai tea
Friendly employees, food is great, and the service is quick.
Its alright.. it didn't like pad thai but I did like drunken noodles.
I have always seen this spot but never stopped in, now its my go to spot for Thai food!! it was so good I had the chow mein noodles on their lunch menu. I will be going back to try other items!
Excellent green curry!
Delicious!! We went for lunch. The lunch specials were reasonably priced. It was very good. We had red curry with chickenand chili basil with pork, 2 saporros and the bill was $27.
A favorite. Go to place for thai food. Spicy catfish is great as are dunken noodles and red curry duck.
great food, bad interor design
Always enjoy our food from here. We’ve always gotten to go. It’s 100% of the time been perfect. I’ve been going here for about 5 years.
Great food!
I think about their crab rangoons at least once a day
Love love love the tom kha soup
Very good quality food! Recommend ordering ahead as there is not a lot of room inside the restaurant.
Quality is unpredictable, it seems to depend on what you order and/or when you go. Picked up lunch a few weeks ago, it was all delicious, larb salad and a veggie stir fry with chicken. But then about a week later we went for dinner and although the salad rolls were fine (esp. the dipping sauce which was great because it was not super gooey and sweet), the noodles in my drunken noodles were overdone to the point of being mush, and the same with the wide noodles in my friend’s pad thai. Otherwise the service is good, staff is friendly, and you can usually find parking.
Really good Garlic Chicken noodle, Tom Yum soup isn't bad and my kids like their curry. Reasonable prices
HORRIBLE WAIT TIMES AND RUDE STAFF!!!!!
The food was good. Thank you for lunch.
Food is too sweet tasting. I'll have to come back and try other dishes but the pad Thai was too sweet
Awesome food with vegan options. Food is fresh and creative
Super nice people. You can't go wrong with the Monday through Friday lunch menu. It's great food at a great price. You can afford to try something new. Get two!
So far I've tried massuman curry, pad Thai and drunken noodles. I would order any of them again.
I can't wait to try the fried avocado!
Generally have great experience here, went in and every 5 minutes the server told me they were closing in 30,25,20 minutes while I was waiting for my party , then she was telling me at 15 min till that the kitchen was closing as I pointed to people clearly ordering behind her. Rude and nasty service. .
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in South Salem
Great Thai food with generous portions. Limited seating, but good service. Does a booming takeout business.
Very disappointed. Peanut sauce was runny like they added water to it. Fresh salad rolls were very expensive and only got two whereas most places give you 4. Vegetables were not fresh. I will never go back.
Drunken noodles. Yum.
Great food and service
Delicious food, excellent service. Probably my new go-to for Thai food.
Picked up a dinner to go everything was squished together in one ball drunken chicken noodles I think it was one big noodle at the bottom of the panWasn’t even edible was told to bring back the next day to get a replacement😂 Which I will
Fantastic! Their pad Thai is better than the other places in Salem that I've tried. The Thai Iced coffee was sweet and delicious. They were busy with pickup orders yet the food was ready within 30 minutes on mother's day. Great portions if you like to have extra for lunch the next day.
I’ve gotten takeout from here many times before and it’s been delicious. I love to support local so this has been my family’s go-to thai spot. Though, this time was extremely disappointing. The rice tasted hard and old, like it had been sitting out for some time. The cashew chicken almost resembled soup because it was so watery. & the papaya salad had zero flavor and zero spice, even though requested spicy. I’m not sure if we will order again.
The food and service were tops. My wife and I had vegetable rolls(spring rolls) as an appetizer, then split the green avocado curry. The portions are generous so there was plenty to eat ($25 w/o tip). The place is small and pretty plain but clean, including the bathrooms. Parking is easy as this is a strip mall setting.
It was good for my 1st time ❤️
Great chicken pad Thai. Awesome appetizers, especially the chicken lettuce wraps.
Do not even consider coming here if you don't want to wait an hour to get your food.
Food has always been good, I really like the tom kha soup. However I ordered via DoorDash today and one of my items was missing, when I looked at the receipt they had written on it that they were out. That’s fine, I get that. I know that we’re dealing with supply shortages right now and it’s not their fault. What’s not okay though is that even though they were out and didn’t substitute a replacement, they charged me for the order I didn’t get. I’m a single mom, ordering takeout is a luxury. Don’t charge me for something you didn’t deliver on.
I love this place! The food is absolutely amazing! This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The flavor is incredible, the sauces are rich, and the portions are very generous. The food is hot, fresh, and plentiful. Would eat there weekly if I could.
Went during my lunch break and the service took forever, food was mediocre and some of the items we ordered were nothing like the traditional dishes we were expecting.
If you like your Thai food sugary-sweet, you’ll love this.
No dinners in the restaurant tonight and the only one "working" in the front was very rude. She was in her personal phone when I walked in. She didn't even acknowledge me so when I rang the bell I stead of asking if I wanted to order she turned and said "they're still working on it". And turned away again. It took several more minutes for someone else to come to the front to take my order.
Delicious Thai food and very busy place
The curries are wonderful
Recommend Evil Jungle Curry and Tom Kha soup
Great place for a cheap and fast good Thai food. I look forward to trying more of the menu
Fresh, tasty food! I'd suggest the basil rice and appetizer fresh roll
Excellent Thai food! And such friendly staff!
Very greasy shrimp pad thai.
Not a fan of the food. Wont be returning
Absolutely so yummy! Never fails.
Tried calling this place for 30 min.no answer. Went there and lady taking orders was rude, there was 5 tables of people all waiting on their food and the waitress was walking around doing stuff in back, I told her I alrdy knew what I wanted but kept me waiting for 5 more min.and I finally walked out. Poor service and slow to get your food.
Salad rolls had taste pre made and bland. Tofu larb worst I've ever had. Fried, dry, tasteless tofu cubes, too much fish sauce, no lime flavor
This is a little gem in Salem. Fantastic food, great service and super friendly staff. Definitely recommended.
Excellent food and professional service. Not only good food but a pleasant staff as well as ambiance.
Delicious Thai, really good Thom Kha Soup
I ordered yellow curry chicken, when I got home it did not taste completely to my satisfaction. When I called the restaurant they did not hesitate at all and gladly excepted to make it again or something else which I did order pad Thai when I came down the restaurant owner or waitress said that they had ran out earlier so they made it from scratch. I appreciate the effort and I guess I’m a picky A-hole, But the smile, service was amazing and I wanted to say thank you! It was yummy.
Eating there is the trick.
The shrimp was raw and we had to have that refired. Many foods were mediocre, but the customer service was spot on. Especially our waitress, Mrs. Trerawan P. was friendly, engaging, understanding, and even humorous! For an amazing customer service, I will rate this place a 4/5. The food can improve by a marathon.
I love this restaurant they have such good food and friendly service Great location .
highly recommend.
Best Thai food in Salem!
This has been my favorite place to get Thai food. Have to say this time was disappointed. I never have been able to finish my food. This time when got food home and opened bag. We noticed the container were smaller and was not even full . usually are loaded with meat and vegetables. Couldn't believe it. Had hardly any mainly noodles. Then to top it off they gave me the wrong ones. That I don't care for . Hopefully this was a 1 time deal. We go there quite a bit . Making me think twice before I go again.
Amazing food and great service!
Food was ok. Customer service was EXCELLENT!!
Tasty
Amazing Thai food 100% of the time! So nice to have a consistent place to order from! Best peanut sauce ever! Only Thai place I’ll go to in the salem area.
Amazing food! Their Tom Ka was the best I have ever had.
It was so damn good.
I tried your beef salad and evil drunken dinner tonight and they were delicious . Thank you.
Best Thai food in Salem, hands down.
First time ordering Thai food in Salem, and decided to go with this establishment based on reviews. Sorry to say, we were disappointed. No mussels in the Seafood Garden, and zero spice although we ordered medium. Very pricey for a missed item. Also Forgot the Jasmine rice, so that was money not well spent either. The Shrimp Tempura contained 4 very small shrimp and consisted of mostly all vegetables. Not worth $11 bucks. $7.50 at best. The side of Noodles came in a dish where it had coagulated into a box of starchy goop. Not good at all. I'll be trying a different place next time.
I have ordered here many time. I order pick up through Uber Eats. When I arrived to pick up my food and I inquired as to why it was not ready when they had notified me it was. I was yelled at and asked to leave the store and have someone else pick up my order. I will not be back.
Food and service is always very good.
The menu is vegan friendly and I appreciate the multiple spicy levels. They also have reasonably priced lunch options. Highly recommended.
Great food! We have done both takeout and dine in and got lots of food. The waitress was super friendly!!
I have had a lot of Thai food in many different cities around the world. This menu was very unique and everything my party ordered was exceptional! I am a bit picky for flavor packed fresh vegetables and seafood without a lot of sauce. Tuptim Thai was a small tiny restaurant with tons of people coming in and out for takeout, It was exceptionally delicious
Great food good prices
5 stars! This place is sooooooo yummy!! We got take out for our family party and everyone LOVED it! Highly recommend
Service has improved overtime. Portions appear to be a bit smaller in to go orders than previously. Food is solid.
Was told pick up would be ready in 20-25 min. 1 hour and 10 minutes later and still no food. This place is ridiculous.
Three stars because the food has always been good, but this was my first delivery and not only was the lid on the Masuman not completely on, it was transported in a paper bag, rather then plastic, so it soaked it, broke through and spilled all over my porch. 😢 Anything liquid should be placed in a plastic bag and tied at the top, which is what they do when I pick it up myself. Also the carrots and potatoes were too undercooked this time.
Horrible. I had to wait half hour just to order. They had little kids answering phones and on the register. Customers very angry. Me one of them.
Have been getting a lot of take out due to the pandemic. Tried this place this evening. The food was wonderful and the portions very generous. Well packaged, fresh and hot! Will definitely order again!
Very good This food!
2nd time I went there and so far the best Thai place I have been to. Keep it up and serve that awesome food!
Yummy Thai food, never had issues with the quality of it. Sometimes the wait can be more than 20 minutes. A great Sunday night take away!
Their food is so good. They get busy on fridays and really need to learn to gauge wait time better. I called in a food order and they told me 20 min. Turned out to be 40 min. The boy at the front also touched his face a few times with gloves on and then used those same fingers to push food further down in the box. Overall good though.
Fresh and varied flavors. Delicious!!!
I like the sweet sticky rice with mango
Dirty and food was not very good
Great pad thai !! Delicious 😋 I'm dining in currently. First time coming, only Thai place with done in. In Salem. Very clean.
Love the cashew nuts meal. Picked up food for eight people all meals were marked with the name of the meal on top. Very easy to give out. Marvelous service. Need to go back and eat there again recommend for anyone who likes Thai food. Enjoy!!
Food was good authentic and good service
They have time when food is scheduled to be ready for pickup their food is never ready on time you have to wait an additional 10 to 15 minutes before the food is ready is getting absolutely ridiculous this happens every single time they need to start changing their allowable times for pick up to the customers are not sitting there waiting you know some of us are diabetic and we have to do our insulin or take our pills accordingly and yet this place continues to do this they are absolutely ridiculous I would not order from them if I were you
Best Thai food I've tried in Oregon!! My top favorits are the drunken noodle, evil jungle prince curry and the pineapple fries rice. They always have fabulous service whether dine in or take out!
Didn't expect to love this little place so much but they have really great food. I always play it safe and get something I know I love but the girlfriend always gets something more interesting and it's always great both ways.
Best Tom Kha in the Willamette valley. I always stop by here for a bowl whenever I'm in town. (From Portland). NO ONE has ever come close to making it as delicious and creamy!
If you like Thai food, this is the restaurant for you. Fantastic service, great food.
