Do not buy from here, you’re better off eating fistfuls of dirt than their soggy, weirdly breaded shrimp. The rice noodles were dry and raspy, and the vegetables burnt. Also got a Tom kha soup that tasted like boiled grapefruit rinds, which probably means the milk was spoiled. Absolute waste of money.
I ordered the pad kee mao, or drunken noodles, and thai iced coffee. I wanted the eggplant variant of the entree, but had to settle on ginger. I'll have to come back for the eggplant, bc this dish was amazing. It's so full of flavor and everything was cooked well. Nothing burnt, but no raw bits. A nice al dente texture to every morsel. Loved it. The fish sauce and cilantro really add a lot to the dish, too. Most Thai places I've been to in this city seem to shy away from bold flavors for some reason - not this place. Also - I'm a total capsaicin fiend and the "very spicy" dish I ordered actually had a kick to it. Couldn't believe it. I've never before in my life ordered spicy food from an Asian spot that was spicy at all. I'll be coming back a lot i think lol
A total nightmare. We placed a direct order online. Two hours later, we are notified it is ready. Paid over $60 with tip. Get there and the guy has no food and will not refund us. Kept claiming we ordered through Doordash. We didn't, it was direct. So there was no one who would solve the issue. Initially he was speaking with us plainly but when we realized the order did not exist and insisted on a refund, he pretended not to speak English. AVOID. Now I get to call the bank on Monday to do a chargeback.
This is hilariously the worst thai food I’ve ever had 😂 it’s edible but not sure if it’s safe. It is arguably the worst. It really makes me laugh. My pad Thai was just a solid mass. Kinda just tasted like sour peanut butter. Partner got the BBQ pork and it had tons of burn bits mixed in. Strait up not worth the low cost
Food is delicious and presentation on point. Had the pho and loved all the veggies and flavor of the broth. Also had the vegan bun with tofu and rice noodles, excellent, healthy and so tasty. Owner is very kind and willing to accommodate special requests.

Got the Bbq pork Banh Mi. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had
Authentic Vietnamese Delight!
My visit to Pho Le was nothing short of amazing! After traveling from California, we were craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and Pho Le did not disappoint. The Pho noodle soup was incredibly refreshing, and the pineapple fried rice was a delightful twist on a classic dish. The owner's warm and friendly demeanor added to the overall experience. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this gem!
Banger late night grub spot. If youre in downtown at 3am, you cant expect a fine dining atmosphere obviously lol, but food was good. FYI cash only!

Pad Thai is a little sweety but overall amazing
This dude has been down here for years and has always delivered. His food is above par and always straight forward. It’s better than you anticipate and it’s always fair prices for the portion and quality of food. Do not sleep on this spot.

Terrible
The most authentic pho I’ve had by far! The owner Thanh super friendly genuine guy! Truly a unique experience! Will return!
most authentic Thai stand in Portland.
spicy is totally optional, but if you love
that heat, request your dish spicy and
it will come sauteed with birdseye chili 🌶️
quintessential food stand experience!
The tom yum fried rice is just amazing.
The thai iced tea is literally out of this world
I love it here. If I could, I'd come to eat here every day.
Best pho cart in Downtown!
The pad Thai chicken medium spice I got was great. There was only 1 person working so if you're in a hurry with a group I wouldn't recommend but if you have time, then I really enjoyed mine. I was worried at first from reading the reviews but I tasted the pad Thai sauce, there was egg, limes, bean sprouts, and chicken. Really good for a drunken night at 12am. Would go back again.
Also it was only 8 dollars for a full portion!
Food was hella bomb 😋😋😋
I ordered pad se ew, it was covered in over half a cup of raw shredded onion with cilantro as a garnish, i had to spend 20 minutes removing them. Plus all of the sauce was in the bottom of the bag not in the container. And finally eating it, it wad just bland and sweet, it had no real flavor, it edible but incredibly disappointing. Maybe their Vietnamese dishes are better but their thai dishes are bland and unspiced.
Good food
Great food fast service, good price, E-Sans restaurant down the road is about twice the price for similar quilt food.
the worst food I HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! THREW IT RIGHT AWAY AND I PROMISE THIS WAS NOT NORMAL MEAT THAT WE NORMALLY EAT!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 RUN DO NOT BUY
The Tom kha and red curry soup we ordered from Postmates had a horrible taste. I’m pretty sure they weren’t fresh and had gone bad. We spent over $60 dollars for food that had to be thrown away. Never again!
I hope hes still around used to go here everyday years ago
He just started doing online orders so the wait is longer sometimes but damn is it worth it! Every time I stop in Portland I have to go eat at pho le and especially get a delicious Thai iced tea.
Yes the wait was a bit longer than it should be and the fries could use some blessing but aside from that, the man does a great job! I always come back.
Food was good and attention to the packing was excellent.
