My favorite restaurant in Portland. The food is amazing! Their crispy pork belly is top notch! The food is always consistent. The family that owns the restaurant and cooks the food is incredibly kind. You're eating family recipes when you eat here. It feels like you're being welcomed into their home to try their incredible food!

Got take out. Unbelievably small portions. $7 for 4 tiny crab rangoons and the moo satay was ridiculously small as well. Pad kee Mao was tasteless except for the heat. Was made super fast though.

Great place. Crispy pork was out of this world. Staff was friendly. Atmosphere was friendly, inviting and comfortable. Great place to eat. I have not had a lot of Thai food, but if it is half as good as here, I am a big fan. Go here and you will not be disappointed.

This place was so good! Everything was flavorful and fresh, wonderful presentation. I loved the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, very welcoming! The waitress we had was exceptionally sweet and attentive. Definitely will be a regular go-to spot from now on.

However the serving size for takeout is very small! Not worth the $15 I payed for it!

Fantastic service and delicious food. We got the Thai crab chowder, chicken Gra-Pow, and the the pork skewer(moo satay) appetizer all of which was delicious and accompanied each other as well. We followed that up with the coconut ice cream and mango+blue sticky rice for dessert both of which were delicious.

This is a small Thia cafe in the Milwaukie/Brooklyn area. Everyone enjoyed the food and the prices were reasonable. The only thing is they put hot spices on most everything. That is my only complaint. I would make most things without spice unless someone asked for it. I had salad rolls, and they put spice in the peanut sauce. Other at the table also thought their food was a bit on the spicy side. The service was super friendly and we did not have to wait too long to get our food. We definitely would go back again.

We came here once a while ago and loved everything, but when we came back many of the items smelled sour and had changed significantly. It took about 30mins to get our food even though we were the only people in the restaurant. The pad thai sauce was suddenly bright pink, and it didn't mention anything about that on the menu either. Your menu should not be surprising, unless it's a playful dessert or something, and nobody wants to eat intestine/worm-esque pad thai, and when we mentioned this and the sourness, the server didn't seem to care about either thing. Our family loves Thai food and this missed the mark.

Literally the best Thai place in Portland. Such a cute atmosphere, the servers are always so sweet, and the food is so so delicious and affordable! Thai ice tea for 3$, plates for 13-16 typically (18 max), and so beyond worth it. Some dishes have a little twist to them, like the crab Rangoon that has some curry flavoring (so good). The place and food just exudes the energy of owners that really care about their food and company :) Love!

I've been disappointed by a few dishes, but the Kaeng Kari Kai (Thai Chicken Yellow Curry) is excellent.

The grilled salmon is fantastic, i have it at least twice a week at least.

I had the mixed vegetables over rice with chicken and thought it was really good! The restaurant has comfort food vibes (not super fancy, but still comfortable) and service was good.

Nice sized portions with really thought out flavor profiles. The rangoons are amazing and the Thai samosas are one of the best appetizers I've ever had. Khao Soi is one of my favorite Thai dishes and they do it right! They also have perfect spice levels for those who don't like spice and those who love it. When they say spicy they mean it! My new go to Thai place!

We have been getting take out or dine in from Chomp since we moved to the neighborhood at the end of 2022. They are some of the most wonderful people in the food business that I have seen in 5 years of living in Portland.

Last night they followed up by phone to make sure our meal was correct since they had been so busy. The order and food was great as always!!!!

Drunken noodles with chicken was very good. Cashew nut chicken was also delicious. Good place to eat before a show at the Aladdin.

Chomp’s cashew stir fry with egg noodles and crispy pork belly is one of the best comfort dishes i’ve had in a long time. i haven’t even left the restaurant yet after eating here for the first time. the tofu fresh rolls were refreshingly fat, and the peanut sauce has a hearty caramel quality and tons of flavor. 100000/10 recommend.

The crab Rangoon was not great, our pork belly was extremely dry. And the veggies were cut way too big for everything else on the plate.

The only thing good about the meal was the rice it was served on.

Delicious Thai food, both familiar and new. The curries are fantastic, just let them know your spicy level. Comfortable booths with lots of daylight and super-friendly service from the family owners. Definitely worth visiting! Also a good pre-concert option when going to The Aladdin.

Loved this location when it was Sanborns and we love it more now as The Chomp! The food is delicious and the family who runs it is just as amazing. I have been getting the Pad Se Ew religiously but was happy I saw the review because the Salmon Curry was amazing! Crab Rangoon are delicious too.

Off the charts food quality, service, awesome portions, and really nice space. This is my favorite Thai place in town now!
I got the gaeng panang salmon, which was a super juicy perfectly cooked salmon fillet surrounded by an awesome red coconut curry with red bell peppers and green peas, served with rice. One order was enough to fill me to the brim even though I was really hungry!
I also got to-go the pad see ew and Thai tea ice cream (made by them!) And it was all to die for! Can't wait to try the crab Thai chowder next time.
Definitely bringing my crew here (nice place for groups), they serve my favorite cider and have great vegan, gf, meat, and seafood options.

This place rules. I brought some takeout home and told my partner "if the food is as tasty as the prices were reasonable and the staff was kind, this is my new favorite place."

Well, a couple bites in and this was my new favorite place. Their tom kah is the best I've ever had; super coconut-creamy with great flavor, and they were generous with the shrimp.

Crab rangoons were *so* good. Most places are basically the same, but theirs were so creamy and fresh with a little touch of spice that made them very unique.

My partners yellow curry was super good too, and again they very generous with protein (chicken).

I'll be back!

I recently got a couple of dishes to go, the food was very SALTY, especially the chicken wings, could not eat them, I wanna give this place a second try, I hope they improve.

First time in a new restaurant, opened fairly recently. Very friendly staff, good menu, numerous choices, reasonable prices, I enjoyed the moo satay (10 skewers chicken/peanut sauce and cucumber salad). A bit chilly in the dining room, but comfortable surroundings.

The food was amazing and the people were very nice. I had the Moo Satay pork skewers, the See Ew noodles, the Crying Tiger with sticky rice, and a Thai Iced Tea. The Moo Satay and the Crying Tiger were particularly good - as was the iced tea. We finished up with the fried ice cream which was a real treat. I am looking forward to eating here again! 💯

Great spot! They mistakenly brought drunken noodles instead of the drunken fried rice (they were slammed and seemed to only have a few workers - mistakes happen) and quickly fixed the right dish. After which, the server brought us a desert that we didn’t order as an apology for the error! So excited to have found this place. Will definitely be coming back. 11 out of 10, no doubt would crush some more grub when the craving hits for some dank chow.

Excellent Thai food, great location with plenty of seating. I was skeptical, so I ordered food to-go online and did a simple Pad Thai. Noodles were perfect, fresh bean sprouts and crisp green onion on there was delicious. I’ll definitely order more challenging dishes next time. Seems like it’s a nice family that runs the place.
