I ordered the Pad Kee Mao. It was very bland and the noodles were soggy.

Big portion!! Delicious! Super fresh shrimp! Nice staff!

At their food cart in the Hawthorne Asylum, my husband ordered spicy chicken pad thai. We received a steamed vegetable and chicken dish on white rice. When he went to let the woman working know she provided the wrong dish, she immediately blamed my husband with hostility! I had been craving pad thai for days and befuddled by her rudeness, he paid for another order. When the correct food came, it had no spice whatsoever. I like my mouth to burn for several minutes after my meal. This was as spicy as chicken noodle soup. When he asked for some red pepper flakes to add, she just pointed at her Sriracha! My husband worked in food service for over a dozen years and he was shocked at the treatment he received. There are lots of thai places in town. Don't bother with this one.

Are you looking at google reviews in the rain wondering if you should order Thai Thantawan? Yes, you should!

I got the Tom Kha and it was the perfect choice for a rainy afternoon. It’s a big portion and flavourful. Friendly service and a cool spot to have lunch!

I’m so glad I stopped by, but wish it wasn’t on my last night in town. The yellow curry was some of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t hesitate to try! I’ll be dreaming of it!

The pumpkin curry was wonderful. Full review at Brooklyn Brothers Food Review.

Enjoyed a pad thai with extra eggplant. The medium spicy was a true medium spicy. The Thai green tea was a first for me- sweet and mild in flavor, it was fun to try.

Diner Review №8

The green curry is very flavorful with nicely cooked tofu and vegetables. The service is very friendly and the food came quickly.

Diner Review №9

Loved their pad kee mao — flavorful, good color on the noodles, fresh ingredients. The egg rolls were okay — wished they had a bit more flavor and weren’t so pasty inside. Will be coming back!

Had the gyoza, pad see ew and Tom kha. All of it was awful. Took a single bite of gyoza and it was bad go the point of gagging.
My friend who had the same also did not eat more than a bite.

Diner Review №12

Flavor , authenticity, quality food ! Forget about the overly salty and greasy food . This is the best phad Thai :)

Diner Review №13

Good gluten free options, and knowledgeable staff. Went for a curry

Diner Review №14

Awful. Food truck. Our coconut shrimp, crab rangoons and pot stickers were all burned and hard as rocks. Also ordered Spring rolls and the skin on them was thick and so chewy we had to spit them out. Horrible place. $30 down the garbage disposal. Yuck. Beware!

Diner Review №15

The yellow curry is expertly seasoned and rich in flavor! I got it with chicken which was very tender. There was easily enough for two meals for me, and I was EXCITED to finish off the leftovers! Looking forward to trying the other curry sauces, too!

Diner Review №16

Tom yum was quite milky, but still relatively authentic. Thai tea was good, and not too sweet!

Diner Review №17

Good food n good thai milk tea!

Diner Review №19

The Tom Yum soup is a must try, especially on a cool day. Be careful not to order it too spicy though! 😅

Diner Review №20

Superb massaman curry! Super friendly lady.

Diner Review №21

I live down the street and eat at the food cart all the time. It's great and fast local thai food. The curries are probably my favorite.

Diner Review №22

Real review here not people with fake 1 review . This was a total disappointment. The Pad Thai was over cooked and flavor less. Maybe something to serve to the elderly. Ordered the vegetable spring rolls. Store bought that was mushy on the inside. Payed $19 plus tip for the 2 items. Save your money, time and tastebuds. This place is a bust.

Diner Review №23

Excellent food, but they only give a small amount of rice for their curries (the container is about half full).

Diner Review №24

Literally my favorite pad Thai in Portland. Everyone is 2nd place or lower. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Diner Review №26

Some of the best green curry I’ve ever had!!! Ordered the medium spice with tofu and it was perfect. HIGHLY recommend.

Also, the guy running the stall literally gets 5 stars in customer service - so kind and nice! He made sure everyone get their order even though it was super busy.
Would come here again.

As a vegetarian it is sometimes hard to find red curry without fish. Their red curry is absolutely delicious!! Their yellow curry is great, too!!!

Diner Review №28

Diner Review №29

Diner Review №32

I had the clear noodles with shrimp today and an appetizer of coconut shrimp its usually really good except today the there was 0 flavor on my food except for the coconut shrimp, he whole plate was so bland and tasteless the I could taste the fussiness in the shrimp with no flavor at all

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №35

My family enjoys the Thai food here. I especially like how they’re generous with the shrimp, and do a nice job with fresh and tasty garnishments.

Diner Review №36

Friendly people, good price for the size, super fresh dish, and quick. Honestly all the best parts of a food truck experience.

Diner Review №37

My favorite Pad Thai in Portland

Diner Review №38

I ordered chicken pad thai, potstickers, and some white rice and added a side of peanut sauce in it. It was probably the best pad thai and peanut sauce I've had. It's just good food and good quality!

Diner Review №39

I love this place so much. It's my favorite thai place in town and I haven't found anyone that makes pad thai nearly as well. Every time I come to this food pod I always say I'm going to get something else but this food truck just draws me right back in
