Join us for lunch, dinner, and late-night cravings, and let our culinary journey transport you to the heart of Thailand.
Love this spot, food, owners, atmosphere on point!!! Especially the mala fries!!! Second time here. The owners treated us like part of the family. There is a charge for wasting food with the all you can eat menu, understandably. Why order food you’re going to waste??? I did witness some people surprised by the charge. They left a bunch of food at the table. It Could not be easier to see that there is a charge for wasting food. It’s in writing they also inform you of this before you order. Please pay attention.
Best hot pot in Portland. I’ve been here about 5 times in the last few months and every time has been awesome. The portions are generous. I always order everything I want and it averages out to about $35 a person, which is more than fair. The ingredients are very high quality, and their sauces are house made. They also have an entire menu of Thai and other SE Asian dishes. Make sure you get the giant river prawns, they are gigantic. Also they are open late, so it’s a great to get a late night meal.
You always get a split pot so make sure you pick 2 broths.
Really incredible food, made with so much love that each dish will blow you away! 💕 Family owned and operated, the owner’s mother makes each dish with distinct knowledge and passion. The service is great, we always had water and everything we needed!
I highly recommend checking them out during their soft open. Even if you’re just anticipating their hot pot (coming soon!), their current dishes are really special and bring something totally new that this neighborhood has been craving. Very authentic, flavorful, and distinct.
Thai Hot Pot Heaven isn't just a meal: it's a wonderful and delicious experience, the kind that makes you want to bring all of your friends and family to enjoy it as well. My wife and I travel and lot and have experienced many types of cuisines, and this was probably our top dining experience this year.
We can't say enough positive things, but here are a few:
1) the owners are so friendly and genuine you feel like you're dining with family. The food really tastes homemade.
2) the menu is incredible! There are so many dishes you'd never see at an average Thai restaurant. You could eat here many times without getting to try everything you want to try.
3) the hot pot is a culinary experience! The broths are so delicious you don't need to add anything...though they do have many optional spices and sides.
What a wonderful place!
I have eaten at THPH many, many times and always had a delucious meal, as a matter of fact the food is glorious. The restaurant is owned and operated by a white dude and his beautiful Asian wife, who along with her mother is also the chef. The white guy is a former big whig in the Hotel indusrty and runs the floor and handles his happy guests like a boss. They have a full hotpot menu and traditional Thai menu. The stir fried triple mushroom dish is quite delicious and the lemongrass wings are served with a nest of fried lemongrass "chips" you'd wish they'd bag for purchase. Ive had many a hotpot and I must say the stock is rich, and layered with flavor. This place is a find, and a keeper.
After searching for Thai restaurants in Portland, we came across this great spot! They offer Thai hot pot! Too bad, we weren’t in the mood for hot pot so we ordered other dishes instead. Beef Drunken noodle, papaya salad, pork satay, chicken with tamarind sauce and braised beef soup. Everything came out delicious . The owners and staff were very nice and attentive. Definitely recommend for Thai food fans.
Absolutely wonderful owner named Max took care to explain the all you can eat Hot Pot experience and help put me and my friend at ease. The food was absolutely delicious with unique flavors and sauces to help change every bite along the way. It's a fairly new place with lots of potential, and I can't wait to see them grow and expand their decor and ambiance to fit the NW 23rd vibe. It's a little hidden gem, and I can't wait to see them grow!
“Thai Hot Pot Heaven is truly a gem for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors! From their delicious Moo Kata and Thai hot pot to their homemade sauces, every dish brings back the taste of home. Since we haven’t been back to Thailand for a long time, this place is perfect for our family to enjoy real Thai cuisine together. Highly recommend!”
This Instagram post for this restaurant was well done and made it look much nicer than it is. It's small and the tables are covered in plastic. We invited friends to try a new place and weren't really blown away. The staff was friendly. Prices are decent.
Amazing personal service. Let us stay a little late thanks yall ❤️❤️
Takeout.
So many Thai restaurants.
Coming back here again.
Thanks.
Food was great. Server was the worst I’ve ever had. He forgot our order and had to take it again. I had to ask him to bring extra glasses when my friend showed up… twice. He took our drinks order but never brought them and never told us why until we were paying. We watched two tables give up and leave without ordering.
I’ve been here many times since going here with some friends the first time. Amazing food and even better people serving/making it. Absolutely need to stop by and have a great time with family and friends. Definitely a hidden gem.
The host was super nice and all the food was delicious. My part of 6 has a great time :D
This is only the second time we had hot pot and it exceeded our expectations! The meat was nice and fatty, the broth very flavorful, the marinated chicken with raw egg added a nice unctuousness to the broth and the veggies were super fresh. We were very pleased we took the server's recommendations!
Great food, excellent service
So glad I checked this spot out!! Great service, bomb pad se ew. Will come again!
Food was great! Not too bad for the prices, and service was good. What a cute little nook!
The employees at the restaurant were super nice. They helped my little brother to choose right food for him . The food was super amazing!!!
Love this place! I went with my girlfriend a while back when they were closed on Wednesdays and their menu was different. Came back recently and they changed the menu so now there’s an all you can eat option. Unfortunately my eyes were bigger than my stomach so I had to pay a fee, but it was worth it. I got to take my leftovers to go.
-000 they decide to close anytime they want when their website says open til midnight! The worst specially when u travel for 20+ mins!!!! Not even one star. And the smell was NOT giving.
Got the hotpot for two, the food was good and all the dishes were clean. For two people it was 40ish and there was an all you can eat option buy it was around 70 for two people. 7/10
Food was very good, gave plenty of options between unlimited and a la cart. The chili sauce is very spicy, enough to clear out the sinuses.
Heads-up if you're planning on visiting on or after Jan. 1, 2025, they are going to require reservations for All you can eat hot pot and Moo Ka Ta.
Amazing service! Very helpful and food was incredible! Small place so book ahead but everything delicious!
Love the place, food was delicious and fresh tasting. The only hotpot place where they re-season the broth when they refill it!!!
Amazing service!!

Owner was kind and helped us walk through our first hot pot experience, let our child eat free, and gave excellent recommendations and it was decently priced as well. Absolutely will be back

I’m glad I made the decision to go to lunch the food was very flavorful.
It is extremely rare for me to rate a place negatively. I've been in the service industry for 18+ years (front and back of house), and generally, if I don't like somewhere that I've been, I'll just not go back. But our experience here was just so disappointing for how expensive it was, that I had to say something.
From the start, vibes were weird. We were a party of 4, and each had varying experiences of going to hot pot, but we knew to expect a lot of food and came hungry.
They sat us down, and...brought us water. No menus, no asking if we wanted drinks. We had to ask for both.
One of the people waiting on us was the owner, whose wife was the cook. Sounds cute, but he basically started by telling us how much he hates food waste, and if there's food left over, we'll be charged an extra 30%. He even decided to tell us a fun story of a previous table that he decided to only bring half of the food they ordered to them and they couldn't eat it all and so he charged them extra. (Foreshadowing)
I'm not necessarily opposed to the extra charge for food waste, it's not uncommon practice for unlimited refill/all you can eat type places however if you're going to do that, write it on your menu and maybe leave it there and don't verbally threaten your customers with it.
So here's some good: what we actually received of the food was delicious. We got the Shoyu and Thom Yum broths with the regular unlimited menu.
Here's the bad: I watched as another table that came in and ordered after us received their food about 10 minutes before us. Their table had been set for them with napkins and chopsticks, while we were told to get our own.
We didn't receive a couple of items from our first round (which, after the owner's suggestion, we had scaled down, but maybe he still thought that was too much?)
Then it started to get weird. We asked for a refill on our broths, which it advertises unlimited broths, so we didn't think anything of it. We were 4 people and had the same size pot and broth as most of the 2 tops around us....so yeah, we ran out fairly quickly. The server came around and poured something from the same pitcher into the two different different broths. I went to the owner and confirmed it was chicken broth. Again, it was tasty, but it was a choice made for us, not one that we chose.
The second round of food was missing more items, and the udon we ordered came out hot on top and frozen on the bottom which whatever, we're literally cooking it at the table. We were honestly so ready to leave at that point since we had been there for almost 2 and half hours (primarily for wait times) that when we were asked if we wanted anything else I made a comment that though we were still waiting on a few items, but we were ready for the check...which we waited again for until I went to the counter to pay (where another table that seemed to be having a similar experience was also waiting). We ate everything, so we didn't get the threatened 30% charge, but they did get our bill wrong, so we were charged, refunded, and charged again.
All in all, though the food was delicious and we literally live like 3 blocks away (I was hoping this would be a regular spot) we will not be going back.
Also note, this is Portland and a pretty queer friendly neighborhood, why do you have gendered bathrooms?
I have been finding Thai BBQ + HotPot [Moo Ka Hta] for quite a few months already and found this place via Instagram. Got packages for AYCE BBQ or HotPot. The prices are also different for Lunch and Dinner time and also for the weekday and weekend. This will be my go to Moo Ka Hta place.
Wonderful Pad See Ew, noodle cooked perfect. Hot pot was so delicious! Thanks Max, we’ll be back!
My partner and I found ourselves becoming hotpot regulars before we knew it
Really great authentic Thai food here! A new place by first-time restaurant owners and they are doing a great job. All-Thai staff is a nice touch. And, they JUST got their liquor license - in fact I was privileged to be the first customer to be able to enjoy a beer there 🍻
Great for a first time experience.
The most delicious Hotpot .The meat and vegetables are very fresh and sauce homemade is delicious.
I’ll try to be nice, but overall this place isn’t worth ever visiting again. It’s definitely NOT AYCE Hot Pot based on our server (white guy) who constantly made you feel guilty for ordering more food. He never gave us our drinks, napkins, or came back to our table after appearing irritated whenever we attempted to order more food. Not to mention he continued to bring up the restaurant doesn’t want to waste food, which we understand. However; we eat Hot Pot throughout the United States 24/7, plus we have Hot Pot with family daily at home. We’ve NEVER been told so many times they’ll charge everyone a penalty of 30% per person if there’s any leftovers. That’s weird, strange, & completely unprofessional. Thank GOD the woman who appeared to be the owner took over our table & provided much better customer service. Regardless; if you want Hot Pot then our suggestion is “Happy Lamb in Beaverton” & you’ll have a normal experience without the threats & the foods 10 times better!
Incredible gem in NW! Friend invited us, glad she did. The team here walked us through the menu, how to order, how to best enjoy the sauce combinations, made it a very friendly new dining experience for us. Highly recommend, can't wait to bring more friends!
Very delicious food and good service! Recommend the kao mun gai, don't see it on Thai menus often and worth the try 😋
My granddaughter brought me out to this cozy place.
Service was friendly.
I ordered Vegetarian Tom Kha that was made with love. It came with steamed rice. I loved it. I had enough left over to eat the next day.
I liked the cozy atmosphere.
It is family owned and operated.
The worker helping us was so sweet and informative, kept checking in with us to make sure everything was to our liking, the food was delicious
Delicious food, fun environment, definitely worth it!
Owner and his wife are an amazing team! We were a party of 9 and made a reservation in advance. You have to keep in mind this is a smaller establishment, so those with negative reviews for the wait time of service should also keep in mind that it’s not a restaurant with 5+ servers. The guy that is one of the owners is extremely friendly and helpful. The server accommodated us. Most importantly, the food was delicious and we loved the experience. FYI, they are working on the liquor license since they only opened 8 months ago so they have a variety of Thai non alcoholic drinks that are delicious in the meantime. The hot pot food was delicious and honestly it feels great to support a small business. Thank you to the wonderful owners for accommodating several large groups at once and giving us an amazing meal! 👏🏻
Honestly, one of the best hot pot spots I’ve ever been to. I travel for work constantly and always try new restaurants where ever I go, this was an incredible find. The guy operating it and his family were incredibly friendly and kind, service was quick and spot on, and the food quality was absolutely top tier. 10/10 I will be coming back here every time I visit Portland.
Previously, this was one of my favorite restaurants. I was trying to show my family from out of town this restaurant since we generally enjoy it. We have very specific and different food preferences so we asked for an extra pot while also stating we were willing to pay extra for another pot no matter what that price was and we were refused because we are not a party of 6. I literally would have been fine with any charge. I was also told space was an issue, but it clearly wasn’t. Combining tables is also an option at this location to solve the “supposed” space issue. However, no means to rectify the situation were made. Not only was I unable to enjoy my food my whole family couldn’t either due to this. My group of four wasn’t able to experience the hot pot how we intended. I never would have came had I known this would have been an issue. Very disappointed, because I would have been happy to pay and tip.
We were the first to arrive and had the cheerful complete attention of the charming host. The wife is the chef and came out to greet us and see if my odd sensitivities could be handled and she could. My Thom Kah coconut soup was divine, my companion had a divided Hot Pot so she could have 2 different broths and had giant shrimp with beautiful vegetables. We both loved our food and will absolutely go back. It's often crowded so we were lucky to be there at opening.
So good! Went here after work with my coworkers and got the all you can eat hotpot, a great deal with delicious options. The tripe meatballs were amazing, the veggies were all fresh and the meat was great. Really good broth, sometimes with hotpot I feel I have to dress it up to be flavorful enough but not here, it was really good. 10/10 plan to be back!
This was my first time here, but definitely not my last. Super awesome staff, food is amazing, and the whole atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I would have posted pictures but we ate it all 🤣
Loved the pad lee mao 🤍
Great small business! Really appreciated the recommendations and food allergy accommodations. Will be coming back!
Best egg noodle wonton soup,my son ordered the bbq beef skewers it came with the cutest side of sticky rice,my husband ordered the tom kha absolutely flavorful must try everything,I’m going back Monday to try the hot pot for a little birthday outting, owners were so welcoming and the entire staff he said he’d walk us through the cooking process so that made me feel a little better:)
Hot Pot has arrived in NW. Unassuming Thai fabulousness nestled in the quiet part of Stumptown/Pearl.
The photos don't do the presentation justice, but the servings are garden fresh and generous. The broth is award winning, clean and uber-flavorful. Pick 2 and get busy creating a delicious belly-warming bowl of goodness.
Full Thai menu too! Support local, eat Hot Pot Heaven!
Found this spot randomly and it was absolutely delicious! homemade food. you can tell it was made with love!
This place was great. Celebrated my grandson’s 16th birthday here. The service was impeccable and the food was wonderful.
Get the fries with Tom Yum seasoning.
The hot pot ingredients were so fresh and beautifully presented, the broths are incredible flavorful, the sauce bar was outstanding in flavor and variety. The space is warm, fun, and intimate. Service is impeccable. The owner graciously and warmly answered questions and made suggestions. I can't wait to go back and try more things from their extensive menu.
Amazing spot to enjoy with friends, owner is super friendly and accommodating.
Lovely experience, great food and the staff was so nice! Definitely recommend!
Incredible food, excellent service, the place is warm and clean, we are not from the city and we wanted to eat in a special place and we could not have chosen better!
First time ever doing a hot pot and I am now in love. I feel so lucky to have had my first time here! Thank you so much the broth is heavenly the food is fresh.
Delicious and scrumptious bites, with warm and friendly service. A locally owned business that exudes authenticity and brings warmth and welcome to Alphabet district in Portland, Oregon. Must try and you will not be disappointed.
went here for my birthday dinner and it was SO GOOD! one of the owners helped us and was so friendly and accommodating, also it was my first time having hot pot because i don't eat meat and they have loads of vegetarian/pescatarian options! my partner who has had hot pot a lot said it was the best hot pot he had, even without the meat! i'm stoked this opened up near me and would absolutely come again!!!
Hot pot was amazing customer service beef short rib was my favorite
Beyond disappointed. I've had so many hot pots and this was one of the worst experiences I've had. Ordered $60+ of stuff for the hot pot and we were barely full (2 people). For the amount and the quality of food that you get, this is pricey. The tom yum soup wasn't even good. For a Thai place, I expected more.
Then we had to pay $3 extra because we didn't pay with cash. I get that this is a small family owned business but this caught us off guard.
I ❤️❤️❤️ this place!
Max and Tina, the owners/chef are amazing and have really made a supes amazing menu 🫶
This was so delicious, our first time trying the hot pot ever. Vibes were high, waiter was amazing very friendly. Been seeing some things online that say you can’t drink the broth? Is this true Tina? I thought the broth was delicious, sorry we burnt your pan we didn’t know how to hot the pot.
Best hot pot in Portland. Incredible food, wonderful and kind service from the co-owner, and we left full and happy. Felt like we went to a good friend’s house for dinner. We did hot pot and it was absolutely scrumptious, especially with their sauce bar. Can’t wait to go back so we can try more!
Come here all the time and quality of food is it, owners are nice too
Fast service, fantastic food, great atmosphere, great menu options. The Thai iced tea was my favorite. 10/10 would eat here again
Was so happy to find a spot with vegan thai tea open late. The owners were extremely friendly and sweet, going out of their way to help us. I believe its a family owned business, you can see the care they have put into this place! I only ordered one thai tea but they gave us an extra for free because my friend was with me! Above and beyond service and such a cute spot. Can't wait to come back to try the food! Highly recommend everyone to go here!!!
Our favorite go-to spot for thai in NW Portland!
Delicious food and lovely people. Fantastic first Pho experience and well worth the visit!
We loved this new hot pot restaurant. Had a chance to meet the owner who was wonderful. A great addition to the neighborhood!
Amazing place can’t speak highly enough of the food the service you have to come check this out!
Excellent service, very friendly family runs the business. I love their Tom Yum Goong soup, and of course their Hot Pot! It delicious and my most favorite. I come to Thai Hot Pot Heaven every week just to eat this wonderful goodness! Highly Recommend.

Best Thai food outside of Thailand! I couldn’t believe all the options for Hot Pot & they has River Prawn!! Can’t wait to dive here again when visiting Portland.
Fabulous service and delicious food
Nice restaurant and great food. Fun experience and staff are friendly.
Awesome Atomosphere! Love it that the owners are a married couple that went into business together!!!
Will praying they have good success in the sight of GOD and Man. In JESUS Holy name!!!
Love the green colored sticky rice and scallops!! Awesome foood will come back next time we are in Portland!!!
Thanks again!!
Stay safe and Stay Blessed!!
If you're looking for an authentic Thai food experience in Portland, look no further than this place! This gem, run by Max and his wife, truly stands out. Max's impeccable service made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in, and his wife's exceptional cooking took me and my wife back to Thailand.
The flavors here are unparalleled. We were so impressed with our meal that we found ourselves back at the restaurant after a day. Each dish is a perfect balance of traditional Thai flavors and fresh ingredients.
Highly recommend trying their Thai Stewed Beef Noodle and their famous Hot Pot– they’re simply the best we've had. Max and his wife have created a warm, welcoming environment that pairs perfectly with their outstanding cuisine. We'll definitely be returning soon!
This place is seriously so amazing! Easily the best hot pot I’ve ever hard. The broth is delicious and the quality of the meat was excellent. The couple who own this place are local to the neighborhood and so friendly! Easily my new favorite Thai restaurant!
This was our first Hot Pot experience and it was amazing! We ordered two broths and all the goodies. The food was delicious and the service excellent.
Did not have fresh ingredients and admitted to having many frozen ingredients. Tom yum soup wasn’t bad but questionable freshness. Eerie atmosphere and decor. No one else at restaurant but still had to wait for waiter multiple times.
Horrible service and worst noodles ever had. Quality is not fresh
Delicious food, excellent preparation, and fabulous sauces! Can't wait to return!
The food is delicious. The owners are welcoming and customized food how we wanted it to be. We loved it and visited again the next day before leaving the city.
A wonderful addition to the area. The server was knowledgeable, interactive and patient with us since we had someone in our group who had never had Thai before. We got the pad kee mao, pad kra pao, pumpkin curry, crab rangoons, and fries. All of it was delicious and we look forward to going back to try the hot pot.
A fantastic place to experience hot pot whether it’s your first time or you’re an aficionado! Fantastic food, outstanding service, family owned, all questions answered, all bellies filled to satisfaction. It’s a choose your own adventure style of dining that is fun, memorable, and oh so flavorful. Highly recommended, and we will be back!
Went here with my dad to celebrate my birthday. It was his first time and the owner/server was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the meal. Service was fast, food was fresh and delicious. Great prices.
I recently dined at Thai Hot Pot Heaven for pho, and it was fantastic. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfect, and the beef was tender. The fresh herbs and lime added great flavor. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was cozy. We had a Beer and a nice chat with the owner. Highly recommend for authentic thai food.
Wanted to try hotpot so we ventured in. Staff was great and the food was amazing! Got two flavors of the hot pot a classic and a tom yum , the veggie medley meat medley, pork belly, and two types of noodles. We ate all of it because it both smelled great and tasted delicious! Broth was flavorful and the sauce bar let us customize our bowls individually. So comforting. Would recommend and made me a fan of hotpot. Can’t wait to come back.
Had a delicious beef Pad Ka Prao and Thai Coffee! The flavor was incredible and it was swimming with delicious sauce.
We got the tom yum noodles (mild spicy), the bbq beef with sticky rice, glass noodle salad with the enormous shrimp, and the mango sticky rice.
Noodles were great, and I think I could’ve bumped the spice up a notch. Enjoyed the contest of the roast pork(?) and meatballs to the crunch from the nuts and fry.
The shrimps were truly enormous, but so juicy and flavorful. At this point, the chef came out to greet us, suggested the seaweed (seafood) sauce to accompany the shrimp, and even went to grab it for us. It truly elevated the already decadent shrimp.
If I understand correctly, this restaurant is family-owned, so def pull up for some homemade goodness
Good food, nice staff. Has a cool mix of choices between the hot pot and Thai food. The appetizers were very good.
Put the giant shrimp in the broth, enjoy. Wonderful people.
I was recommended this spot by a coworker that spoke so highly about it that I thought it would be too good to be true and it is not. I have no photo evidence because I did not want to pick up my phone because the food was so divine. We had the hotpot with the Tom yum and shoyu broths, and I could have just the broths and be so happy, but I had a truly ethereal experience when they were combined with their quality meat, veggies, wontons, and noodles. The service is impeccable and one of the owners gave us great recommendations. We also used their sauce caddy which had a lot of delicious sauces, but ended up forgetting about them until we were halfway through our hot pot because we were distracted by how delicious it was. I absolutely would recommend this and plan on telling everyone about this place as it will be on my mind for days, if not longer.
Great little home in the wall owned by the cutest little mixed couple. The Thai fries left such an impression, that I'm reevaluating my standards on traditional fries. 10/10 everything was delicious and reasonably priced.
Food was absolutely delicious 🤤 I was greeted by a sharp young fella named Ethan and he told me his life story, and how he was about to leave to go see his best friend ever in aspen Colorado. Food was spectacular, customer service was spectacular, the location was so nice annd the restaurant was beautiful 😍 overall a 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently placed a large and rather crazy order from Thai Hot Pot Heaven. I spoke to the manager Max, and I have to say, he went above and beyond to accommodate all of my special requests. Not only was the food delicious, but the attention to detail was incredible. Here’s a breakdown of my unique order and how perfectly they executed it:
1. **Pad Thai with a Smile**: I ordered 5 Pad Thais, and they actually arranged the noodles in one of the boxes to form a smiley face. It was a big hit at our party!
2. **Dragon's Breath Green Curry**: The green curry was labeled 'Dragon's Breath' as requested, and it was the perfect level of extra spicy. My guests loved the challenge.
I am incredibly impressed with how Thai Hot Pot Heaven handled all these unique requests with such care and creativity. The food was not only delicious but made our party truly memorable. Thank you so much for your outstanding service and for going the extra mile to make our event special. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Cozy place with attentive and informative servers, delicious food, and incredible broths.
What a nice addition to the NW Portland restaurant scene. The food, staff and atmosphere are A+. Hot Pot is a delicious way to enjoy a variety of Asian food, especially working well with a small or larger group of people. The spices and sauces are superb. A must try!
Service was extremely slow. It took about 15 minutes to get a menu and about 45 minutes to get our food. To our disappointment the food did not meet our expectations after reading all the great reviews.
Great spot, really great food and friendly staff. Also a great price! Crab Rangoons are elite
Everything was great, service, food, everything. All the thai flavors, all the classic hot pot flavors, everything you want from a hot pot place. Crab rangoons were so good.
Delicious Food!
We had dinner at Thai Hot Pot Heaven and were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive owners. The environment is clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the “Pineapple Fried Rice” and “Kao Man Kai”, and everything was absolutely delicious. As Peruvians, we appreciate a diverse range of flavors and textures, and this restaurant certainly delivers on that front. I’ll make it a point to dine here every time I visit Portland.
Wow, blown away by this great addition to our neighborhood food scene! Everything from the homemade sauces, to the broths and high-quality ingredients made for an amazing hot pot experience. Not since Thailand have I had such delicious prawns. Definitely worth checking out and supporting a small family business!
Great food and cool vibes! I grew up with shabu shabu (hot pot) and haven't had it since becoming a vegetarian, so I'm stoked to find this place! Two vegan broths to choose from, tons of tasty veggies and noodles and tofu, and lots of sauce options. Highly recommend!
This place was absolutely amazing. Super Thai vibes as if I was in Thailand itself. The owner is cool as hell and super friendly. Hands down one of the best inhouse sauce bars I’ve ever seen. The hot pot was absolutely so good. The wings were insane. All the food here is amazing. I highly recommend.
The experience was amazing, the owner was very informative, he answered all of our questions and he was very helpful. The food was so good and everything tasted so authentic. I would definitely recommend This place to anyone.
Five stars!
Excellent broths for hot pot. Nice selection of vegetables and meats as well. Delicious!!!
Great spot with great service. Food was all good and the place was clean. Would dine again!
Delicious authentic Thai food and fabulous service.
Just like the name - every bite was Thai Hot Pot Heaven!
Such fresh, authentic Thai food. Best Pad See Ewe that I’ve had since I was in Thailand! Warm, friendly service. Fair prices and everything is as fresh as it can be.we came two days in a row and will go back again before we leave town!
The best Hot Pot and owned by the sweetest couple! 10/10 support this locally owned restaurant! Better than any chain hot pot place I’ve ever been too. Will definitely be back!
Came here with some friends to have some Thai hot pot and appetizers. The food was very delicious, and we all loved the different drinks we had. The husband and wife that run this spot are super sweet and have done a beautiful job with the space. The seating was comfortable, and our table was packed with food. I would highly recommend coming here! Overall a wonderful restaurant!!
Wonderful people that own it !
A pleasure to eat there
So so good!
The food was delicious and the owners were so kind and proactive
The owners provided the best service and food recommendations. The hot pot was delicious, and there was a good selection of broths. Excellent dining experience.
The owners are incredibly nice and take the time to explain all the options for the hot pot and sauces. There was a nice amount of vegetarian options and their thai tea was very good. Would definitely recommend and I am excited to go again!
The food was great! The hotpot broths were flavorful and the sauce selection was varied and all high quality. Both the meat and veggies were very fresh! Service was great!!
Absolutely delicious and such kind and caring staff!!! Already planning to come back
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I eat out a lot and have never taken the time to write a review but had to for this wonderful new restaurant! The owner greeted us, explained everything on the menu, and checked in with us frequently. His wife’s family is from Bangkok and she always wanted to open a restaurant so we are lucky that she did it in Portland. The Pad See Ew was delicious, and the hot pot was fresh, plentiful, with a large variety of tasty sauces and toppings to choose from. I can’t wait to go back again!
I had to pick up weekday dinner for my family, and my kids are picky eaters which can be challenging. I ordered online and typed in some custom requests and the order came out PERFECT (and on time!) I can see this place becoming a weekly staple for my fam. Plus the fried lemongrass on the wings…yum!
So glad I came here. Some of the best food I've had in the city in a long time. Every ingredient was absolutely delicious, and the sauces were PHENOMENAL. Especially the seafood sauce, I wish I could buy a bottle! On top of the that, the staff were so kind and courteous, and you can tell they really care about what they are serving to people. Cannot recommend enough, and cannot wait to come back!
Wow this place is GOOD! I’ve had hot pot a couple times before at other joints. Usually it’s a bit overwhelming if you’re like me and you don’t know what you’re doing, but here I felt like I could do no wrong. I just picked what sounded good and it worked! Admittedly I overcooked my beef a little bit, but it didn’t matter. The flavor of the broth and the fresh ingredients more than made up for it. I splurged a bit and got two broths, one meat, and the veggie combo, which was enough for two people but I was happy to take home leftovers.
The family that runs the place are very friendly and hard working, always ensuring I had everything I needed. I’m super excited to have them in the neighborhood.
They also make a really good Thai tea, and they’re open late!!
This place has some of the most authentic and high quality food in Portland. I rank this restaurant equal if not better than Din Tai Fung.
Their appetizers are all home made and were some of the best eggrolls, crabrangoons and gyoza I’ve ever had.
We order hotpot each time and the freshness and flavor of the broth is the perfect compliment to beef, pork and seafood.
Max, the owner, is hospitable and provides personable service. Do yourself a favor and spend the 30$ to 100$ for hotpot.
Love this place. This one goes out to the person who left a bad review. They’re just a hater. The Thai tea is perfect! Food is abundantly flavorful.
Cool
really friendly attentive service however food was rather bland and flavorless, thai tea was overly sweet.
Amazing new hot pot & thai place!! Fabulous local owners, authentic Thai food, and non-chain HOT POT🔥
I met the owners and was very impressed with their enthusiasm. I'm gonna eat there a lot
Our family dropped in on a Sunday night after seeing positive reviews online. The ratings are well deserved. They have traditional Thai favorites as well as a separate hot pot menu. We opted to share a couple dishes. We started with some pot stickers which were delicious and piping hot. We had the Pad Se Ew with beef, and the Pad Woon Sen with pork which is a glass noodle entree we’ve not found at every Thai restaurant. Both were excellent with great flavor and nice portions. Their Pad Woon Sen recipe is fantastic! We finished with a Taro and Pineapple shaved ice. Wow. We will definitely return to try their other entrees and give the hot pot a try. Service was excellent.
I am a celiac (gluten-free) who loves hot pot, and the wife and husband team that own this heavenly place made me feel absolutely safe eating there. She let me know exactly what sauces I could have (highly recommend the Thai Seafood sauce. It was perfect), the broths for hot pot are noted as GF and delicious, and the meats were also noted for allergens.
The food was some of the best I've had and the approachability and kindness was unmatched. I will be making going here a normal occurrence and cannot wait to try more of their food.
Lovely place. Food was killer and the staff is super friendly. Try the papaya salad. It's off menu but delicious
Best papaya salad iv ever had! Great addition to the block
Awesome thai hot pot place just like in thailand , its authentic , moreover their mango sticky rice and bua loy is the must you cant miss their dessert. we love and enjoy their food so much
After just one visit, this has become my favorite restaurant. We got a hot pot and the broth was DIVINE with fresh and well portioned add-ins. The couple that runs us are charming and attentive. The chef even offered us fresh chilis to spice up our soup. They also had a sauce/topping bar with several house-made sauces and fresh herbs. The food was very affordable, but they have some higher-end options for meat as well.
They’re open much later than nearby restaurants so we didn’t feel rushed to enjoy our meal.
This restaurant opened a few weeks ago and they are settling very well. Still Waiting for their liquor license and feeling out what experience the diners want. Liquor license or not, this is a one of a kind restaurant that this NW community needed. Very authentic food by the family directly from Bangkok. I had the hot pot experience and it did not disappoint! I will be back routinely to support a new and inspired restaurant!!
Delicious new Thai restaurant just opened in the NW! The owners super friendly and knowledgeable. The Pad Kee Mao was smoky and perfectly spiced. The wonton soup was delicious! The mango sticky rice is a MUST TRY! It’s incredible! They make everything in house and since the chefs are family members who recently arrived from Bangkok, the food is very authentically Thai. We can’t wait to go back to try the hotpot!
Just spent a month in Thailand. This place is 100% authentic.
Really good food. We had the hot pot. Food was fresh, service was top notch. Location is prime and an option to be open late night on the weekends is great for this area! Only reason atmosphere gets 4/5 stars is the tv was playing Dateline at full volume while we were there. Other than that, amazing!
Takeout was fantastic! Portion size was great, and all the food was delicious. Check this place out for a great local spot.
We feel lucky to have this amazing Thai restaurant in our neighborhood. The food is authentic, fresh, tasty and plentiful! We had the beef noodle soup, Pad Thai, tamarind chicken and the mango sticky rice. We went back four days later…can’t say enough about the friendly people that own and run this place. Truly a gem in Portland !
bbq pork meatballs stay on my mind! the hot pot is a really fun way to share a meal with the whole table. everything tastes amazing!
Woah, what a happy chance we walked by! Real mom and pop shop, dont expect fast food, take the time to enjoy yourself and others. Good value, delicious food, very nice family/employees. Couldnt have been better. I cant wait to return.
Amazing new place ! Loved the hot pot!! So happy to have you in the neighborhood! Welcome !
