I recently visited Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner or even a special occasion.

I came here for dumpling week, and I’m definitely coming back to try their other items!! Delicious!! The only thing was their Thai tea was served with unnecessary single use plastic, and I wouldn’t have ordered it had I known.

Whoever is in charge of creating the ambiance at this lovely restaurant deserves a raise. I loved the bold colors and adventurous decorations — especially during the Halloween season.
Rating 4 stars due to prices being so high. I adore the visuals you get with their cocktails, but an $18+ cocktail just seemed super steep for what you get. We chose to split an appetizer because food prices were astronomical. Overall great experience but wouldn’t recommend unless you’re willing to pay at minimum $50 per person.

The beef noodle soup is my favorite! The beef is so tender and soft. Their portion is huge, especially the basil bomb, even 2 of us can’t finish it! Their staffs are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place :)

Greeted after seating previous patrons. Seated immediately. I believe for the four or five groups there was only one staff so I keep that in mind to say check ins were too few. Made decisions about food without being able to ask questions as we needed to order by the time we were able. Soup was brought after order, didn't know it was coming. Clear chicken broth soup with green onion and cilantro. Responses in group were mixed. Tok rolls were tasty, minimalistic, maybe small, but very tasty and mint chutney was quite good. Orders the very spicy green curry and said we were good with spice but it wasn't that spicy, different for everyone. Presentation was wonderful, beautiful design and colors! Mango and sticky rice was small for the price, I'm used to half or more of a mango, while beautifully presented was meager to share at the price point. Check out smooth and will go again, forewarned of some idiosyncrasies and excited to taste around the menu.

First of all this is the prettiest restaurant in Portland!! I love all the flowers and overall vibe. The food is also incredible!! The spicy ginger tea is a must. Don’t miss this great PDX spot. Annie was our server and she was amazing!! So fun, attentive and kind 🩷

Had the Kobe appetizer, bbq special, pas see ew. All were excellent. The appetizer had a cilantro sauce that was fresh and bright. The Kai Yang came with papaya salad that was very fresh and tangy. Chicken was incredibly tender and the sauces were amazing.

Good flavors, but insanely overpriced. Not the place to go if you want to have some standard thai dishes, they do the basics all wrong here. Only worth going if you're going to get their crazy expensive unique dishes like the khao soi neua.

One of the best Thai Restaurants in Portland! You have to make sure to come here if you are in the area! We were visiting from out of town and the food and service was amazing! Super authentic Thai food and the entire staff is Thai and so sweet.

Delicious food and wonderful ambiance. I love the decorations and how they add to the fun energy of the restaurant. Our party of 7 was seated quickly without a reservation and parking was plentiful nearby. We ordered pad Thais, crying tiger, fried chicken, and yellow curry. All the food was amazing. The prices are higher than what we are used to, but we are from out of town so we can't say if the prices are standard for the area.

My first time at Farmhouse Kitchen, but it won't be my last. The herbal rice salad was phenomenal as was the crispy duck. The salad was a hit at our table due to its big bold flavor. The duck was incredibly sumptuous. Everything was prepared flawlessly and presented with an artistic eye. Highly recommend.

Super delicious panang beef rib. The herb rice salad hits all the right notes, and the makram cocktail is perfectly sweet and spicy.

We are really enjoying visiting this location! The people who work here are so sweet and the food is very uniquely prepared and served, very pretty and thoughtful! My husband loves spice but he orders the food here as is, feels like it is perfectly done. The fried chicken is to die for as is the spare rib dish and Kang Kua prawns - okay pretty much anything on the menu is so freaking delicious. The drinks are gorgeous, even Thai tea is beautifully served. Hubby loves the alcoholic drinks and they're beautifully constructed with flowers and 'the nice' crystal. It's worth looking beyond the fake wisteria hanging out front on the patio. More of a date night place than business lunch. We'll be back!

At first I was going to order the pad ka mow thinking it was pad kee mao (but by a different name!) and the waitress let me know that it wasn’t the popular noodle dish. I’m glad she did and was so grateful! but I ended up ordered the green curry which was absolutely delicious! A win-win scenario! Service was lovely, the servers were attentive and knowledgeable. Will definitely return when I’m back in Portland! :)

Great food. Got the basil bomb and Penang neua. Both dishes were amazing either way great flavor. The beef of the Penang dish is very tender and falls off the bone easily and balance well with the delicious flavorful curry sauce. The basal bomb had a blend of seafood that were all well cooked and the crispy pork belly adds an extra crunch to the dish that really elevated it. Enjoyed the meal very much with my partner!

Food was great! Some of the best Thai in Portland. The area for seating is a little tight, but the restaurant itself captures the spirit of Portland well.

I had to leave a review. The 24 hour beef soup is so good especially leftover. 10/10...Great for this type of weather. I need to come back and order it again. The crab fried rice is not bad.

Just had an amazing meal at Farmhouse Kitchen! The flavors were bold and well-balanced, especially the spice—it added just the right kick without being overwhelming. As someone that doesn’t live in PDX, this place is a MUST whenever I visit. The food is so incredibly flavorful. I’ve tried their herbal rice salad, crispy duck kaw pow, & lobster pad thai. I also love that they have fresh coconuts to drink! So refreshing & they give you a spoon to scoop out the meat. The roti pandan dessert is also flaky, cozy, & delightful. Very attentive service & lovely atmosphere. Already can’t wait to dine here again!

We went for dumpling week 2025 and the dumplings are super amazing and so flavorful! I also enjoyed a delicious and perfectly spicy beef salad with a side of sticky rice. I definitely recommend this spot!

I’m visiting from afar, and looked at the menu before coming. The prices online don’t match the in store prices

I came in during happy hour and was told I had to sit at the bar for happy hour food and drinks and then go back to a regular seat when I’m done.

I hated my entire experience here. I don’t recommend this location solely for these reason. I ordered the Table Set meal for $129 but online it said $99. And then an extra $35 for lobster. Idk, as far as customer service whatever is posted as the lower price should be deemed the price charged to the customer. Update your website!!!

Farmhouse Thai Kitchen is one of my go to spots when I go out to eat in Portland. The food is always amazing, the drinks are incredible, and the ambience is always top notch, as well as the service. It’s a very instagrammable place with actually delicious food. You will only regret not going here!

Vegetarian Food Review: You will wonder why I have given 1 star rating overall and then 4 stars. I am appalled that 90% of all restaurant are calling food vegan when they are using same FRYER for vegetarian and non vegetarian food. That is CROSS CONTAMINATION and the chefs should know that. Restaurant owners should know that. The Pad See Eow I order was DELICIOUS. I had to order it without tofu as tofu is fried in same oil. They would not fry it separately. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you are Vegan Vegetarian or have dietary restrictions please ASK before ordering. I am sad because why I ordered was lovely and I wanted to give 4 stars. Hopefully someday the restaurants will decide they need to make food vegetarian if they are saying it is. I would be more than glad to go back and rewrite this review if things change.

The pad thai with no spice was delicious and super flavorful. However everything else we ordered was way too spicy. One dish came with a disclaimer so we were prepared for that but nothing else did and we weren’t asked about what spice level we wanted so everything came out too spicy to eat. I’m not even being dramatic this was the most spicy food I’ve ever had and I’m a spicy girly
