Good food. Kung Pao chicken was great. It's inside a store so the atmosphere wasn't great.
Oh man, if you want spicy Thai food, DD Fusion is the place. I had to convince the cook that I can handle the heat, but once he realized I can handle the heat, game on. I don't think I would go to any other place for Thai food. The food at DD Fusion is tasty and spicy π₯. Highly recommend this place (btw DD Fusion is inside H-Mart)
The best Thai food! This is my go to spot. Always delicious and affordable. You canβt go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorite is the pad see ew
Good food. Kung Pao chicken was great. It's inside a store so the atmosphere wasn't great.
The food would get a higher rating but it is excessively sweet. A problem shared with many Thai restaurants.
Good place for a work lunch at a reasonable price. Fried rice is authentic and flavory.
Update: I used to love the pad Thai here, but now it seems to be only noodles and a few pieces of soybean sprouts and peanuts! π Almost no protein added and the taste is almost gone, only noodles! So, I removed one star!
Their curries are still tasty, though.
Food very tasty and customized spiciness! π Nice service. It's inside H Mart and one can dine-in at the counter or food court. Great for takeout.
Iβve tried many Thai places but this is the most expensive one, not saying the pad thai is bad but itβs not worth the price, Iβll just stick to my usual spots
My wife ordered the wonton soup and I ordered the Orange Chicken, and I asked for fried rice instead of white rice. When it arrived it looked like a small plate of burned deep fried small chunks with sauce at the bottom, and white rice. It tasted like it looked which was burned crust on small chunks of chicken. It was dry and they gave me white rice instead of fried rice. My wife's wontons were bland and the soup had way to much garlic in the bottom. For $28 I expected more than something that looked and tasted horrible. We will not be back.
Had lunch and it was as expected.
Very reasonable price and great tasting food
Some of the best Thai food in the area; we've come here for takeout for years.
This food was ok, but definitely isn't even close to Thai food. There was no lime with the pad thai if you can call it that. It was weird tasting and no vegetables. The portion sizes were small and my green curry was skimpped, wasn't even full. Terrible experience. Will not be going back. Shout out to Thai garden on Stark st in SE Portland!!! Go there.
Had some Tom Kha soup. It was REALLY good.
Quick, no fuss, pretty good food. However, I don't feel like it's as good as it used to be. Maybe my tastes have changed, but I think the food tasted better 5 years ago. Also, inflation has affected the prices here. Taste vs cost makes me drop a star.
Iβve been going to this place for more than a decade. Always perfect.
Pad Krapow Gai Aroy Mak Mak
Short line, just counter ordering, pictures ordering with number is the easiest. I had beef salad medium. Great portion, fresh crunchy salad with generous portion of beef. I like mine a bit more citrus, the cucumbers were great, lettuce good, tomatoes were just ok. Would order it again. Service was great. Tables, used by all restaurants, were pretty dirty / sticky.
Great prices, excellent cooking, and huge portions! Some of the best Thai food on the west side.
The woman that owned the place was the one that was serving us. She is the most amazing friendly person that I've ran into in years I don't think I've had an experience where someone was so excited to work with all her customers and make you feel like you were the only customer in the place even though the place was full. She owns the restaurant next door also a ramen place that is also five star. I've been eating at Thai fusion for years and I have never been served anything but top quality! Serving sizes are amazing service is amazing. If you want to go and relax and feel like you are really cared about and not being served like a cattle call recipient. Go here where you will be treated like family!
Always delicious. Good portions. Been coming here for almost ten years now.
Very fresh and hot. Great portion sizes and pleasant service. Highly recommend
Always fresh, delicious and made to order. We love this place!
Disgusting! They serve the cheapest pre-cooked veggies with tough skinned protien. Not fresh! Tastes like dirt. AVOID!
The most amazing group of people providing outstanding food. I moved away about three years ago, but I still drive back for lunch from time to time. I love to visit with the owner, Tipi.
Ordered a bunch of diffent things for a party and it was all perfect!!
I have ordered takeout from DD Thai for years. The food flavors and quality have stayed consistent. The service has always been friendly, professional and accurate.
Really good food. Miss this place so much every time I go away
If you're ever in the area make sure you stop by D D Thai Fusion.
Food was delish! I'm not one to try new things and be surprised
I have been searching a decent Thai food, and this is not where you can get it. There is nothing special in their steamed rice or veggies - those are just that. Chicken, beef etc - pretty common, no diff in taste from any other place. But I hoped their soups - Tom Yum and Tom Kha - would be something decent. Unfortunately, they are not. I am pretty sure they use some soup base, and do not cook their own broth. And it is the same base for both soups. And it is not hot and sour, but rather sweet and extremely salty, to the point you can't really eat it. On top of that - at least Tom Yum - is a rip off. You get soup base + 1 liter water + half tomato + 2 small shrimp + 2 calimari rings + half a mushroom and some onions. This is for $15. Tom Kha - you get enough chicken meet instead of seafood. Very disappointing, as previously they had pretty decent food.
Please give more than 3 shrimps in your curry dishes. Little over priced.
Best Thai food in town!! Itβs the only place I go eat Thai food and the owner is super nice! She treats you like family π
This place used to have the best Thai food. I had takeout today and it was terrible. I had the pad prik #16 and asked for mild. It definitely wasn't mild in fact was too spicy for me to eat. The green beans and red peppers were soggy by the time I got home. I'm wondering if they used frozen green beans as fesh normally stay crispy for a while. Very disappointing as I was really looking forward to some delicious Thai food.
Love this Thai restaurant. The foods have authentic Thai taste like what I had in Thailand. The price is cheap (8$for all dishes). Highly recommend
Good food.
This restaurant is definitely very weird, (I guess they dont serve you the food if you are eating in there??)...
The service was weird, the noodles were definitely weird way to saucy for my kind barely any meat...
I use to come here all the time to just get one dish, did I mention the food is really smelly as in not so appetizing.. I'll go enjoy Thai somewhere else !
Surprisingly great strip mall fare served quickly and affordably
Unique experience and delicious food
some of my favorite thai food, located inside H mart.
So good!
We have had at least half of their extensive menu and it is one of the best Thai places we have eaten at in 4 different states. The staff is very friendly quick and efficient at getting your order completed. We eat here at least once a week and we look forward to it.
Bad service, the young girl working there was not answering the phone to take orders so I drove there to place an order I got there 20+ till closing time and she wouldnβt take my order because they were about to close and I didnβt call ahead.. I called like 15 times and she never answered.
Great staff and wide selection of items! I usually get the massaman curry, but the mango suprise is really good too! The food is cook to order and a great price.
The food here is amazing. Don't let the location deter you. I highly recommend the wonton soup.
One of my favorite places for lunch their fried rice is the best
I honestly don't get why this place get so many stars. Service is good, but the food is really sub-standard! It tasted like it's been watered down compare to more authentic thai flavor. But it does exceed my expectation from a counter inside a grocery store, so I guess people had a very low expectation to begin with... but I certainly won't be back unless the more authentic one across the street is closed... which is why I tried DD Thai Fusion in the first place.
El mejor arroz frito con camarΓ³n!
This place is a gem. Honestly, I could eat here every day. Every dish I've ever gotten has been delicious and the portions are a very fair value for the money.
Hands down the best pad thai I've had. I've lived in the area for a couple years and whenever I want thai I go here.
One of my favorite places to get take out or a quick lunch. The food is fast, fresh and delicious. My go-tos are Pad Kee Mao and Pineapple Fried Rice. The spice level is serious so if youβre not sure, order medium or mild.
Delicious!! When I got my lunch the portion was enough for two people. My favorite Thai dish is Pad Kee Mao, so of course I had to try it. It has great flavor and the veggies were not overcooked.
Seriously, this is the best deal on Thai food in the Portland area. Itβs fresh, flavorful and everything on the menu is $8.50. Itβs my favorite stop for Thai treaties whenever I get a chance. I can run in, place a take out order, cruise the H Mart and check out all the cool (albeit weird) stuff they sell while I wait.
The curries, Tom Yum and Tom Kha are all fantastic, and they are always super nice and accommodating.
NOTE: Their spice level is no joke there, and Iβm not a wuss when it comes to heat levels. If youβre an average spicy eater, I DEFINITELY recommend you order mild. Even the mild will sometimes make me tear up. And you have to point out that you want it mild, they wonβt always ask. Iβve ordered red curry with my usual medium spice level there that I had to dump a whole can of coconut milk in when I got it home, and it was STILL hot af. I canβt even imagine what hot is like. EDIT: Been on a basil kick and drunken noodles have been getting a ton of love from me at the multitude of Thai spots throughout the city. DDβs are far and away the best Iβve tried, plus you get a huge portion that I even find delicious cold the next day. And itβs the cheapest price to boot! This place never fails me or even disappoints.
This used to be my go to Thai place. Back when plates were $8. Now they are charging $10 for half the amount of food they used to give you for $8. That will be my last time
Im honestly confused by the 5 star ratings and what looks like great photos of their food portions because what I just got from this place is despicable! They really have the audacity to charge $10!! For an orange chicken plate that has BARELY ANY orange chicken in it! When I say its sad I mean sad, not only was the meat not tossed in the sauce (just drizzled on top and leaking out of the container and bag) but the portion size was ridiculously small and to top it off the meat was extremely dry and cut very tiny!! This place should honestly be ashamed of itself! Forgive all the exclamation marks Im VERY upset.
I haven't been here in a long time but when I do, it's a great treat. I've tried almost everything on the menu. The curries are just amazing. I've gotten a 4 star once and they looked at me like I was crazy but it was still amazing.
Best thai food in pdx!!
Was so happy to find this hidden gem! (Inside the grocery store). The people are always friendly and every dish Iβve gotten has been tasty. Their Thai iced tea is always good and strong too (some places dilute it too much).
I ordered food which come with cabbage that looks old and dirty. Bbq chicken that pack poorly leaking all over my car sears. They mustst a new owner I sodonsee familiar faces there anymore...any probably not eating here again
Amazing food, good size portions
YUM. why are you even reading this review?? Just go! Order two meals ππ if you dont like spicy food ask for no spice. The food is delicious and the staff are super friendly. Dont let the location fool you, this place is amazing for takeout.
Fantastic flavor and very generous portions. Been going here for years for good reason.
The best Thai food in Portland for the price and the quantity. The entire menu is $8.50 and Iβve tried a myriad of the choices and Iβve never been disappointed. The drunken noodles were the best Iβve had in Portland, the tom kha, tom yum, curries and stir fried dishes were all excellent too. And their peanut sauce was tasty enough to eat on its own, directly from the little sauce cup. A word of warning, they do real Thai Hot, and my usual spice level of medium is too much for me here. I donβt think Iβm a real baby about hot foods, either. As a recent transplant from Los Angeles/New Mexico, I generally find Portlandβs spicy cuisine far too mild for my liking. That is DEFINITELY not the case at DDs. They spice all the dishes and donβt make them mild by default, so if youβre sensitive at all, make sure you point out that you want it mild, because they donβt always ask. There have been a couple of times that I forgot, got my food home and even after adding an entire can of coconut milk, it was so spicy I cried through the whole meal. Such a delicious punishment for my mouth π
But they are super friendly, itβs a counter seating arrangement in a food space at a grocery store, so it may not be right for a date? I always get take out. Then while youβre waiting for your food, you can check out the H Mart, especially the seafood dept with itβs large tanks of live fish and shellfish.
Great food for the price. Authentic flavors and family owned. Good sized portions too.
As good or better than most Thai restaurants in the area and cheaper. Hey foodies the measure of a restaurant is whatβs on youβre plate not the surroundings. Love this place!
Good seasoning
Just left great as.usual
Located inside H Mart store in Tigard. I have been here often. Love the food here! Always very tasty and flavorful! There's never a Thai dish that I don't like. Service is always great!!
Has the taste of traditional thai food. Great service, great food, great price. Would recommend to anyone hungry.
Hands down best Thai in Tigard area. Pad Kee Mao is a must have. Tom Kha soup is best I've had.
We love this gem in H-Mart. Price is reasonable and where can you get full meal with choice of chicken/tofu for less than 9 dollar?
I specifically like their secret menu, Rad Nah. This one hands down the best Rad Nah I have tried so far. This is a tricky dish and requires lots of heat to cook the noodle to perfection. Without great cook/chef, you cannot accomplish good tasting noodle. Don't forget to ask for house chili (with fish sauce). There are two options: with standard vege or with Chinese broccoli. I tried both and I like the standard vege with carrots and cabbage.
I tried other dishes too and their Phat Kee Mao and Phat Thai were as good as 12 dollar plate in downtown Portland.
H-Mart have been always so cold and maybe that's why this soupy noodle tasted extra delicious.
So fresh. Seriously some of the best Thai food in PDX area. It is so good.
Best Thai food in the Portland metro area
I dont think I've had a bad or even average meal here.
Really great pad kee mao
Really good food.
Our family loves DD Thai! The staff are kind and friendly and the food is amazing! We love to sit at the counter and watch the chefs creating their magic! Fresh, flavorful and simple. Thank you for being in our community!
Love this place! Discovered it while shopping at H mart, and made a mental note to return for lunch. So glad I did! Now I am planning to go here at least once a week. Large portions for a great price! Everything is so flavorful, and their housemade chili sauce is the bomb! Friendly helpful staff as well. If you like Thai food, you have to give this place a try.
Good food. Affordable.
I love Thai food. Not everyone does it well. But Iβm coming to find that hole-in-the-wall places and more hidden joints are the best. This place is one of them. Good food for a good price, left full, happy, and ready to come back again soon.
Great food and unbeatable price
Great place for authentic Thai food
The meal was fantastic, and very fulfilling. Chicken soup for the soul and body, I could feel the experience at the counter immediately. Definitely a mind altering experience.
Whoa. This place is tasty and kind of hidden. Worth the visit. Order at the counter, then there are a few tables.
Absolutely, hands down the best Thai food in Portland.
The food was next-level good! Way worth the money! I will definitely going back.
Good food.
Exceptional !! Very friendly service, and even better food. This is a true hidden gem .
One of my favorite Thai place to eat. It's like a food court place. Everything on the menu is $8. Staff is friendly. Food is good and is enough to fill you.
Best quality at affordable prices. Just go for it! You won't be disappointed.
Authentic Thai cuisine hidden in the H-Mart's food court. My favorite Thai food in Tigard. Also, least expensive and portions are generous. Friendly staff. Order at the counter, eat at the area shared with H-Mart's Korean restaurant [also good food]. Ask for a side of their house sauce if you like your food extra spicy.
After a craptacular experience at Bon Baguette [wasn't even able to order there] I walked over here and the food was delicious. They needed extra time to cook the chicken, which is fine. Price is good, portions acceptable and people friendly...really only have positive things to say about this joint. Hope they sell a lot every day.
Great food!
Very respectable Thai place for a countertop restaurant inside of an Asian store. Noodles, curries, and fried rices are very good with any level of spiciness you desire. If you don't get a spot at the counter (likely), the Hmart has a lot of seating in their main cafeteria area as well.
The best thai food around with a great price!!
Super flavorful, friendly service, great selection, outstanding prices and portions. It's my new favorite thai spot!!
It is inside H Mart. They have a place to sit at the counter or you can sit in the dining area. You need to order your food at the club her first. All entrees are $8.00. Portions are decent amounts.
My daughters and I came to the H-Mart to shop and get some Pho for lunch. The Pho-bar happened to be closed but what a great βaccident!β We ate at DD Thai Fusion and what a great find! One of my daughters and I each got the WonTon Soup....how incredible. The size and taste are fantastic; the wontons are made there and each soup is cooked to order: a several step process. My other daughter got the chicken Pad Thai. It too tasted great. We ate at the food bar, what a great experience. And then afterwards we shopped in the store.
Love this place! Great food, price and employees!
Here's the thing about DD Thai, I think it is so good and recommend it so highly that I would genuinely tell you that if you take a bite of their food and you don't like it, then you should get your mouth checked out by a doctor because something is wrong. Beyond that all I have to say is that the portions are good and the price is right. Even when they're busy the food doesn't take too long to come out, and the quality never suffers.
The food is really delicious. the portions are good for the price. we are regular here. The service is fast and good.
Good
Great Thai food at a good price
Great place to eat especially their pad Kee mow not really thrilled with their Pad Thai though all of their entrees or $8 really good service
Good yummy eats! $8 a plate and well worth it. Best Thai value in area. Mali Thai about the same .50 cent more but with drive thru? If DD is busy I jump over to Mali
Food is good. I ASKED CHICKEN AS MEAT for green curry but they SERVED beef..grrrrrr
Excellent. I would be willing to return but as we waited and watched the happenings in the open kitchen. not once did the people working wash their hands. Not good. They should be more mindful as people are watching. I liked their cuisine and the flavors were great! It was really cost effective as well! we'll see if we return.
My FAVORITE THAI FOOD, THE BEST! Great service, friendly place to sit at the counter.
Very yummy green curry, inexpensive, friendly.
Not really Thai food. Large portions, good service. It's inside the H Mart.
Good food at a good price. If you're looking for quick and affordable Thai, DD is the place. I like to call ahead and pick it up for take out. If you order there you'll probably wait 10-15 minutes. The taste can be a bit sweet and at times overly saucy but tasty nonetheless! Careful on the spice. They don't mess around if you ask for anything more than two stars.
Good Thai food at a great price.
Best thia food!!!
The best thai food in Tigard with affordable price
My husband and I love Thai food and found this little jewel about 2 months ago, we now go weekly sometimes twice a week. EVERYTHING we have tried has been great, the ingredients fresh and meals are prepared in the open kitchen as you watch.
Been there twice and both times was the best I've had. They are very popular and limited cooking space, so expect delays on some days. Worth the wait.
Went there 5 days in a row after I found them
This place has to be the best Thai Restaurant in town! The food is CRAZY GOOD. The first time I came here, I feel in love!!! Believe it or not I came back the next day and the following week after. I highly recommend to anyone who loves Thai food. Plus you don't have to waste a lot of money going to a fancy Thai Restaurant. Good service Great food Worth the money Extra rice with no charge Best Thai Restaurant
Love it! sooo yummy..
One of my favorite spots to grab food to go on the way home from work. Large portions of extremely tasty food prepared authentically. Located inside H-Mart Asian grocery. Seating is a bit "food-courtish" but the quality of food makes up for it.
Food -authentic, superb, healthy
Service - also superb
Portions - plenty
Price - $ 7.50 including endless cups of hot tea
Treated as honored family
