Tiny Kitchen !! Thai comfort food. Rotating on Spacial Menu
One of my favorite lunch spots in the neighborhood. Fast, fresh, and delicious. I especially love their generous servings of Thai iced tea.
I've eaten here a few times now. Each meal has been excellent. My favorite was their curry (perfect balance of heat and flavor) until I had the Kuay Teaw Lui Suan (Thai noodle salad). Wow. Just wow. The dressing is light and flavorful (they should bottle it), the noodles were wonderfully firm. Like the other dishes I've had, the balance of subtle flavors and textures really elevate this dish to something fantastic.
The nutty chicken is incredible. The owners are great people. You should eat here!

One of my favorite lunch spots in the neighborhood. Fast, fresh, and delicious. I especially love their generous servings of Thai iced tea.
Just wow. Absolutely amazing food. The drinks are huge too. Can’t say enough good things.
You guys are correct - I was thinking of the wrong place! I’m sorry! I will come by soon and place a big order!!
Amazing flavorful and perfectly prepared food.
Never open, has no set actual schedule. Unreliable. Not referring to this holiday season but in GENERAL
Food here is quite tasty, and the owners are very nice!
Best Thai in Portland
I had the fried chicken larb and it was amazing. I want to try every dish!

Lovely delicious food, we got the Khao Yum Gai Zap. So flavorful一 well balanced cilantro lime in wonderfully crispy chicken pieces. They were so friendly and offered to bring us another fork when they happen to notice we were sharing an order. Also had their mixed berry lemonade. Loved everything. Unfortunately forgot to take a pic!
The Gai Zap is so good!
food is so good and owners are so nice
The food I ordered was not at all like I expected based off eating it at other places. That said, my dish was quite tasty. There was plenty of food, I got 2 meals out of it for me
This is one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Portland. I could eat the gai zap every week and never get tired of it. The owners are lovely and hard working. Truly an amazing business to support. We love it!!
The owners are very sweet and remember the drink i want even when it's been weeks between visits 😊 and their yellow curry is the best I've ever had!!! But you can't go wrong with any food you pick. Also, most of the menu is gluten free❤️
Literally some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. The chicken curry puffs are to die for they legitimately changed my life for the better.
The flavors are amazing. Seriously good!
Really good curries
Great food! I enjoyed it
Delicious food and friendly staff. The curry and nutty chicken are our favorite dishes. Plus they have really good drinks!
Khao Yum Gai and coconut shrimp was so good! Friendly, fast and delicious. Will be back, probably tomorrow.
Just YUM!!
The food is good. It's always served hot without fail and is reasonably priced
Had the gai zap and still dream about it. So full of delicious sour and savory flavors. The chicken was crispy and juicy. I felt full but not bloated after eating. Just really great food.
The larb fried chicken is SO good. I will definitely be back!
Not just a great value - delicious food! Friendly owner, good portion for your dollar, and... omg the larb fried chicken is amazing. Just the right amount of crunch and spice, and the chicken is still plenty moist. Even the rice is just right.
My favorite food cart in Multnomah village. The food has so much flavor and the owners are really nice. Everything I tried from here has been delicious and fresh, however my favorite is the gai zap, the chicken satay and the nutty chicken. The yellow curry was a little too spicy for me, but I'm not good with spice.
Best thai cart I've been to in my life. Quite possibly the best thai I've had period. Everything has a perfect balance in flavor
Best Red Curry I’ve ever had. Customer service absolutely remarkable.
Only feedback I can give is that I ate it immediately while at the French quarter and it was so hot it took ten minutes of waiting to be able to begin eating it. No worries, grabbed a beer to bide my time!
Just do it, you won’t regret it.
So good! Salads are fresh and good mix of flavors. Can't wait to come back and try the curry.
My wife has already reviewed Bluebird Thai (five stars) but they deserve a double down review. Favorite Thai food anywhere and there are a lot of good places to get Thai food in Portland. The owner/operators are truly as kind and friendly as other reviews have reported and the French Quarter Cart Pod is pretty cool as well.
Yellow curry is my favorite here. Very flavorful. My fav Thai place of all time! The owners love what they do and are very kind.
Great food from great people. The Khao Yum Gai Zap has wonderful flavor and the portion sizes are very generous, I’ll be back to try everything else on their menu this summer.
Fantastic food! Really friendly service! I’m definitely coming back again!
🥰💯 omg lemonade and chicken satay, a rice bowl, potstickers... everything is always perfectly divine tysm 💖
The best Thai food around! Also such kind owners. Love this place.
Simply outstanding. The kindest folks you’ll meet. Patient, thoughtful and they care deeply about the food they prepare. The food is absolutely delicious, and always perfectly prepared. We normally get the “nutty tofu” or curries with tofu, as we are vegetarian and is always so flavorful.
6/5 stars. Absolutely sweet people making delicious/affordable, filling food.
The food was so delicious - the chicken was super tender and the peanut sauce was incredible. The owners were so sweet too!
First time eating at the French Quarter and we chose to try Bluebird. We were SO happy with the food and the service. The individuals running the food truck were so kind and the food was amazing!!!! We will definitely be coming back soon
Great northern Thai food!
So creative, made by lovely people as well!
My favorite Thai food truck doing more than the typical dishes you see everywhere!
I'm new to Thai food, but this was incredible! The folks working at the food cart were friendly and pleasant and were happy to explain what each item is/contains.
The yellow curry with chicken was incredible! The notes of coconut, the small, but reasonable-sized pieces of chicken... It was really perfect and honestly a big enough serving for two!
The curry puffs were a real treat! Sort of a cross between and empanada and a samosa, with chicken ,curry and potato fried up in wonderfulness! Cannot recommend highly enough!
The Thai donuts were outstanding! More dense than beignets, but served with powdered sugar and a sweet dipping sauce.
Finally the mango passion fruit juice was delightful. The to-go cups were short and fat, almost like soup containers and were fun to drink-from. We're new to the Multnomah Village area, but we will absolutely, 100% be going back to Bluebird Thai (very soon!)
INCREDIBLE food. You can’t find a bad dish on the menu. Alex and Nina, the couple that owns the cart are some of the most friendly people you will ever meet. 11/10 food and service!
Bluebird Thai is consistently amazing. They are in my list of top favorite places to eat. The owners are very kind people too.
Sooo delicious! Wonderful flavorful flavors!!
Keep an eye on Bluebird. I can easily see their deliciousness elevating them beyond this humble food truck to many more locations. 👍👍
I’ve been getting takeout from Bluebird Thai for the past year- can’t believe I haven’t left a raving review for it yet! This is my favorite Thai cart in Portland. The couple that owns it are gems. So sweet! You can tell everything is made from scratch. Very fresh and flavorful, and always a veggie curry option with lots of veggies. The red curry is one of my go-to’s, but their curry selection rotates. The Thai donuts are amazing. And if they ever have Khao Soi as a special- get it!!!!!!!!!! It’s amazing.
I cannot stop eating Bluebird Thai. The flavors pack a punch, the service is amazing and their drinks are so dang tasty. I think their Thai Iced Tea is my favorite in town. During their rushes it can take a little longer to get food so keep that in mind when you come at 12:30pm on a weekend. It's totally worth the wait!
The *loveliest* humans and tasty, tasty food. The do everything with care, including COVID-19 precautions, and they’re very honest up front when there will be a wait. The larb fried chicken is my absolute favorite! I’ve made it a point to patronize them throughout the pandemic because I really want them to stay in business.
They’re so sweet and the food is delicious!
Finally something different. Portland is full of Thai places all doing the same thing. This. This is where it's at. Never tried places that have some of these dishes. Great great menu great food
I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all always fantastic. Curry puffs are a particular fave...if they have them on the specials- get them!
In addition to being the best cart food in general and the freshest, most delicious Thai food in particular, the people who run it are just so friendly and kind, and they have taken great care during the pandemic to make the entire interaction sterile and safe. My husband and I have to eat here at least once a week.
Wow, what can I say. It's really dang good. If you like Thai food, certainly come give this place a try. Their yellow curry (daily special) was delicious. Also, try the Thai ice tea! Not too sweet!
Highly recommended! Very friendly staff and excellent food. I really enjoyed the red curry and portions were generous. Also, great option to visit for social distanced outdoor seating or takeout.
Love, love, LOVE Bluebird Thai! My fiancé and I stumbled upon this great little place a couple of months ago and it quickly became a favorite. Everything we have tried has been beyond delicious. The owners, Alex and Nina, are the sweetest and take such good care of their customers (they follow COVID guidelines better than any food truck I have been to, going above and beyond to make sure things are sanitary). When we are deciding where to go for a little lunch break, Bluebird is always at the top of our list of choices. Love the Panang Curry and the Nutty Chicken bowl, and the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade is the BEST! If you’re looking for something new to try, visit Bluebird!
Fair warning, this will ruin other Thai places for you! Alex and Nina and two of the KINDEST people you’ll ever meet! They always greet with a smile and are so so sweet. The food is top notch for a KILLER price, and their portions do not disappoint! They are worth the drive, any time! I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, and I have yet to leave unsatisfied. You gotta try it all at least once, and good luck picking just one favorite!
Hands down best Thai food I’ve ever had! Highly recommend the Gai Zapp and the donuts. Will be back many times!
Fantastic food cart! The food is amazing and the service is wonderful. They do a very good and healthy kids meal that my toddler loves.
The food was delicious and service was great. I loved the Thai donuts.
We have only eaten here once, but it was so delicious! They were very nice and the meal came out quick. We'll definitely go back for more :)
Food is tasty and fast. I tried their drunken noodles with chicken, excellent!
Absolutely outstanding Thai food! Been on several occasions now.
Had a very good, thick, hearty, fresh tasting yellow curry with thick chunks of real fresh chicken
So tasty! What more could I ask for?
Best Thai food in town! The donuts are one of Portland’s most underrated. Definitely recommend giving them a try!
My favorite cart in the area. This place is so good!
Some of the best food I've had in a long time!!!
Will be back
Insanely good food.
Very spicy and so delicious, kob kuhn krap
Tastiest, freshest Thai food.
This place is right near my work. I've tried almost everything on the menu my GF diet allows (and the fried chicken dish by mistake) and everything has been delicious and fresh. I prefer it to most of my standard Thai favorites around town (maybe all?). The Thai noodle salad is excellent, I have not yet tried the curry - next up! The service is great - very friendly. Worth a trip!
This place is amazing. Everyone there is. It only friendly, but the food is very delicious, atmosphere is fun, and the prices are very reasonable. I defintely plan on coming back again.
Had the pork wings, bare. They were amazing. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with just the right salty accent to make your taste buds sing. Simply amazing!
This is really some of the best Thai food I’ve had in Portland. I’ve eaten almost everything off the menu and it all delicious. The curry is fantastic as is the chicken salad. Those are two of my favorites along with a new item which is a rice noodle salad dish. It’s incredible! They also make amazing drinks - I think I get a Thai iced coffee just about every day and they just put a new drink “The Pink Lady” which is OUT OF THIS WORLD refreshing on a summer day. Fresh lychee, pomegranate and mint. Ahhh it’s so good! Go try this place!
Everything here is fresh and flavorful, well, I mean everything I’ve tried so far, which is almost everything. I’m still working my way through the menu. I keep coming back for the red curry tho, still my favorite.
Try the Khai Yum Gai Zap 😍
Delicious food, reasonable price, although the rice wasn't the best. The rest of the meal more than made up for it!
