We had heard about Thai the Knot in the community and came highly recommended. We called in advance to make a reservation, since it was a larger party. They had a great menu and selection of some exciting dishes, we went with the pad Thai, pad see ew, and shrimp fried rice, the shrimp was cooked to perfection and they ensured that no cross contamination took place due to dietary restrictions. The presentation was delightful and the portions and flavors were excellent. The prices were reasonable for the area. They even had an adorable play area that was dedicated to children which was well maintained with a variety of toys. Mary our server was friendly and attentive to all our needs providing excellent customer service throughout our visit. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and hope to visit again.
Clean, modern looking resteraunt with a good amount of seating. The menu was plenty diverse to accommodate many appetites. I got the chicken lettuce wraps with shitake mushrooms. It was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The lady who waited on me was friendly and quick. I would definitely come back and try them again. An overall great experience.
Looking for an authentic Thai food experience for the entire family? Thai the Knot is just what you have been looking for!
There are a lot of choices out there for good food but not as many that are also healthy choices. You can have the best of all worlds here!
A nice variety of dishes are available all set in the ambience of fine Thai dining! Ample portions are big enough for two meals per plate making their pricing cheaper than fast food!
One of the best Thai eating experiences on the west coast!
Absolutely fantastic! I had the Buddahs Feast, it was absolutely amazing! Service was excellent, staff was attentive and awesome! Will definitely be back. Even the kids menu and portions were perfect! I love that they have a little nook with kids toys and books to keep the kiddos occupied. I've never been disappointed coming here.
I was craving Thai food so we decided to give Thai the Knot a try. So glad we did. The food was incredible (and I'm pretty critical when it comes to trying new places). The service was absolutely amazing. Food came out quickly. Some of the best curry I've had! My husband and son agreed that their food was delicious as well!
I ordered two orders of vegetable Thai fried rice to go. When I got home and opened the box we were incredibly surprised by the portion size. The boxes weren't even half way filled. It looked like they made one very small serving of rice and divided it in two boxes. We've never gotten so little at any Thai restaurant in the country. Very, very disappointing for $30, plus a $5 tip on take out.
We were here one other time at least a year ago and I ordered the crab pad Thai. It smelled incredibly foul, I took one bite and it was totally inedible. I had to send it back.
On our way to the coast, my family and I stopped in here for dinner, and I was immediately impressed with the pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. We were seated quickly and our server was very attentive.
The food was amazing...my wife and I both had the daily special: a spicy chicken teriyaki bowl that had a lovely heat to it, the expertly grilled chicken and some of the tastiest crab Rangoon's I've ever had. (The Thai basil is a fantastic touch!) My kids loved it, too, which is an amazing feat, all things considered... ;)
Thank you, Thai the Knot! You were a wonderful surprise on our trip!
Had some noodles not sure what it’s called but there was a ton of shrimp in it. Delicious food
One (only one) I know of South of Tigard that is actually run by Thai people- most are essentially Chinese restaurants. This is a great restaurant!!! Some dishes very simple and some with interesting additions of street food aspects- mixing of other Asian cultures. Very fun. I recently had the creme brulee with ginger! I am a snob with this desert: this one was perfect even down to the size of the portion. This place is a gem and the staff are delightful and friendly.
Was good when I went, fast service good food good atmosphere.
Great food, cold atmosphere.
Great service. Gluten free curries, pad Thai, and other options. Love it!
Went there at 3:35 on a Friday afternoon they were closed but the hours posted on the door said open.
The Knot .a fine menu with fantastic meals at family friendly prices.the staff is so nice & welcoming.
Friendly fast service. Great food!
Friendly staff, good food
Great menu. Excellent food. Cozy atmosphere. I get the Chicken Pad Thai everytime.
Worst Thai food I’ve had .. service was bad took my food to go instead of continuing to dine in because of the service host had never going back there again ..
Pretty good.
Amazing service and good food. A must try location

My family had 4 dishes and they were all fantastic. Plus, a very nice and helpful server.
Loved it... but wish they used angel hair pasta. But delicious.
Been here a few times visiting over the years. Always enjoy the food.

We have been here twice. The food isn't bad, but it isn't great either.
Very tasty Tom Kha with shrimps
The best!
Walked in, was seated, hostess got our drinks and said our server would be right with us. There were two other tables and a takeout. The server brought out food to one table, and checked in with another, and had not greeted us. Proceeded to ignore us, walk around the restaurant. Check her phone and then go snack on chips and talk with the hostesses. We were there for about 10 minutes, no service. The menu looked delicious, but did not get the service and so we left.
One of my favorites. A must stop when in town.

Had a Lettuce Wrap and Pad Tai that we shared. Very good!
I had the Bangkok Beef Noodles and they were drenched in fat. Maybe they didn’t realize that with ground beef you’re supposed to drain excess fat after cooking? Either way I hope this is a way for them to fix this issue, otherwise it is a PSA for future customers!
I think the detractor for this restaurant is inconsistency. Sometimes the food is delicious: prepared with minimal oil and fresh. Sometimes the food tastes like it has been cooked in rancid oil and the sauces are made wrong. When they get it right, it’s great, otherwise- not so much. Perhaps more training for the cook?
The BEST!!
The food was super fresh and delicious! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Best fresh rolls & chicken satay around. The curry puffs are to die for!

Delicious 😋
Always delicious food, great service and clean restaurant!

Good food and prices. The crab rangoon is yummy :)
Excellent food, excellent service!
The food was quite and the service was I will return to this restaurant
Good food and the wait staff are very kind and helpful, but the wait for food was crazy long two of the times I've been there.
This is not Thai food and not even close. They serve pad thai with peanut sauce becasue it has no flavor at all and is bare. The server was great but overworked and paid more attention to the more crowded tables. I was definitely not impressed and the food was terrible.
Got takeout and the chicken was woody in the chicken skewers, Hoisen ribs were super low quality and the turmeric chicken my wife couldn’t even eat. I feel like they don’t care about the takeout food as much as dine in food , I don’t think we’ll go back
Did a take out order, and the food was excellent!
House Special Curry and Drunken Noodles were delicious!
Excellent pineapple 🍍 fried rice. Fast service and food.
this was our first time going to this restaurant, and it was so good! My husband and I both got the boat noodle soup, and it was the perfect meal for a rainy day. Fantastic service alongside with fantastic food, what more can you ask for! cant recommend enough.
Friendly service and food has always been good.

This place is great! Food amazing.
Fast service ..the staff are very kind and friendly.
Very clean and organized.
VERY AMAZING!!!! Food and service.
Super Gerichte, authentisch und sehr freundlich.
Worst Thai food we’ve ever had!
1- Drunken noodle tasted like raw fish but was chicken.
2- Yellow Curry was watered down and extremely bland.
3- Portions are small. Half size as others but same price. Although food is so bad we didn’t mind.
4- even the rice was bad. Soggy.
Never going back. Friends warned us and we should have listened.
Staff was nice.
The food is excellent, the service top notch. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere. Appetizers, Thai Ice tea, entree and dessert for two for less than $50. Highly recommend.
I was craving Thai food so we decided to give Thai the Knot a try. So glad we did. The food was incredible (and I'm pretty critical when it comes to trying new places). Great food and service!
The food is really good 👍 is my best Thai restaurant in Oregon base on flavor so far.
Pai Thai noodles 🍜
Best Thai food within 30 minutes of McMinnville. Curries, apps, great service. Will be back!
Good food and friendly staff. This is becoming a tradition when we visit Newberg.
The food is great. Thai food was as good as I expected. The service was courteous and friendly and accurate. Everyone thought the rice molded in hearts was a cute presentation.
Great food, kind staff, good atmosphere. The food is definitely worth the cost point. The only disappointment is that they do not serve their soups in smaller size so you have to choose between them and another entree instead of getting the soup as an appetizer.
The food was so good!!! The staff was amazing.
My first visit here, I found this to be a cute and clean little eatery. Both servers working were incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was quick and checked up on me a few times.
I had the Cashew Mango Chicken (currently a seasonal special) which had a mild hint of spice to go with the sweetness of the mango. I also got an order of the special curry to take home for lunch the next day. It was incredible, a bit more heat to it but still well balanced flavors.
Incredible food. I remember when this place was a 7-11, much improved! :)
The food is wonderful.
Tried calling for a simple one meal pick up order, waited 6 minutes on “hold” I called back and heard nothing, called back and it beeped as if they unplugged the phone. Very unprofessional your hours state you are open until 7 and its 2:30. Absolutely ridiculous and childish.
My family likes to eat here about 2-3 times a year and i have noticed a nice change recently in food quality. They use garnish to plate your food and it makes you feel good eating there. The place is always clean and the colors are nice but it looks a little bare.
Yellow chicken curry was not worth 14 bucks not sure if they gave me a lunch order or dinner order but I am very disappointed spent 22 bucks and got half portions
Great food that seems more hand-made than other thai places. Service can be spotty, but the waitstaff is kind and helpful.
I've only been once, but when I was there it was fantastic. I had the King Noodle (which was delicious) and their ginger creme brulee (which was also delicious). The server was attentive and knowledgeable and honest. Will absolutely go back next time I'm in Newberg
Enjoyed Buddha's feast vegan option
Fantastic food and such a friendly staff constantly moving.
Food is always great. Lots of fun flavors. Something for everyone. House Special Curry was great.
Absolutely amazing and attentive waitstaff, but not my favorite Thai place. We'd been a year or so ago and the food was quite good, but seems like it's taken a quality dip this time around. No one in our party was impressed. The food wasn't BAD, but I've had better. I had a hard time discerning the nice flavors of my Pad Thai, and ended up spicing it up with chili paste to get something familiar. Our other party member was surprised there were burned bits he had to eat around in the teriyaki chicken. They also were out of a few staple appetizers and entrees, which was surprising and a bit disappointing for us. I expected a bit more for the price I paid. If you're local and don't want to drive, it's fine, but I think it'd be worth a drive to eat elsewhere.
Exceptionally good Thai food. The service is friendly, the ingredients are fresh
the menu broad, and the prices reasonable. The fresh rolls (salad rolls ) are made every day, don't miss these: lettuce, bean sprouts, shredded carrot, mint, wrapped in rice paper. You dip in a peanut sauce mixed with sweet & sour- very tasty. Portions are large so we split the two of us had lunch for $22. It stays cool inside so bring a sweater or coat. There is ample parking but getting in and out is tricky, turn off 99 at the light, go up, turn around , approach with the restaurant on the right. Leaving take 99 West. Closed on Sunday.
This was our first time at Thai the Knot but it won't be our last. Fantastic food & great service.
A yummy surprise. Thai food done well. We always drive by this spot and Finally stopped in. Just lovely Tom Yum soup and the service was awesome. We will be back.
Terrible food and terrible service. Anna took care of me and forgot multiple things. The food took forever. Low quality and lower portions. Wont be returning ever.
Good flavor but not a whole lot of food. Compared to other Thai restaurants, this one is lacking. The take out container should be loaded. I ordered Pad See Ew.
Good portion sizes. Mossoman curry was great! Delicious Thai tea. Not overly sweet🧋
Love this place! Great staff and delicious food. The house curry is my favorite dish there, slightly spicy and very rich. The pad thai and chicken satay are also great!
Won't answer the phone when called to make a take out order. In fact they move it to a busy signal so they don't have to answer. Terrible cistomer service.
The eggplant lover's is delicious.
What a great find! This is an Asain restaurant, not just Thai. Amazing grilled terriyaki, yummy pad thai, and a chicken noodle soup with a half chicken'scworth of meat! One of our favorite places for take-out, as well as dine-in.
Nice, easy walking distance from the Best Western. Good food.
Good food, smaller portions than other Asian places. Keep that in mind if you're planning on a family-style dinner, might need to order one more dish than you would otherwise.
Great Thai option in Newberg. It's easy to overlook this location, but it's worth stopping by.
Great food! I fully recommend eating here!
The food is unique and genuine. Daily specials make the menu even better. Place is almost always full. So you know it's good.
Service is a little in need of either more servers or more experienced servers. Just slow for every aspect. Water to ordering to checking how everything is to checking on refills to getting the bill to picking up the credit card.
Doesn't matter the food is good. Real good.
Their feature noodle dish was pretty much just chicken. Three shrimp and barely any noodles. Chicken was good, but not $20 worth good.
The lady with the rainbow nails helped me with my pick up order and was an absolute sweetheart who made me feel very welcome! Food was good, it was a different take on pad thai than I'm used to, but that's just a matter of personal taste as it was well prepared and hot when I got it. Nice place.
Delicious food and amazing crew!
We have been here several times. Each time the owner/chef has come out to explain the different dishes and then returned to ask us what we thought of them. As usual everything was delicious.
Amazing food; taste & presentation are excelente, friendly staff, the best instrumental ambience music, and the owner/chef go by the tables to talk to the cuntomers...EXCELENT!!!
In a time where so many places have gone downhill in quality, Thai the Knot remains consistent in quality, atmosphere, and customer service, and price! I know that my food will always be the same top-quality as it was at my last visit.
I haven't eaten here, but the owner is a very nice person.
Good food, great service and lots of parking.
This place has delicious food, great prices, and incredible service! Evan and his family and employees go above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied!
Only in town for a few days, and had 2 meals here. Good food but simple service. If you would like to be waited on... then you might be disappointed. But, if you just want to have some good Thai food then this is a very good place.
Food was solid but not great. They got busy and the staff was a bit flustered
Excellent Thai food. Lovely restaurant.
One of the better medium-paced restaurants in the Newberg-Dundee area. Everything's always very fresh and delicious.
GREAT FOOD!!! The to-go portions are on the smaller side compared to dine in, but I highly recommend Dine in due to their food and service
Need more help! Not enough workers for the number of customers. Fresh Spring Rolls have shrunk.
Very good food! Traditional Thai. Waiter was attentive and friendly. The place was clean. I will be back
Delicious food, friendly services. Two large entrees, an appetizer, and drinks for two for under $50
I would post a picture, but my shrimp ginger garden is all gone.
I went again and got the chicken ginger Garden this time.
Delicious food that is reasonably priced, even makes for good leftovers, and that is a hard thing to come by. They have different levels of “heat” to their food. I recommend the special and don’t forget to ask for their amazing peanut sauce!
Food was decent, but they were out of many items on the menu and one dish was prepared without heeding a food allergy like requested. However, some of the wait staff was very rude.
The yellow curry is slap-yo-mamma-good! But funny shape anybody. That ain't cool!
I don't believe they are giving us Jasmine Rice. Jasmine has a beautiful scent and taste. The Rice I have tried with them twice smells and tastes just like regular long rice
The food was absolutely wonderful! Really like the crispy rolls with peanut sauce. I had the roast duck Curry which had tomatoes curry sauce basil roast duck bell peppers and rice. The interior is slightly unassuming but I can tell by the way the place smelled it was going to be good. This is a good hit for college kids as I saw most of the patrons were college-age. My waitress was very busy but she came back to me a couple times to make sure everything was good. The only thing I would have proved would possibly be the hours Maybe staying open till 9. They were slightly understaffed but given the circumstances circumstances of post covid-19 here we are. Will definitely visit back if ever I'm in the area:-)
My favorite Thai restaurant. Great food and excellent service.
The food was very good.
The green curry was spicy and delicious. Nice little restaurant. It was bustling with dine-in and take-out.
Great food
Good food and great service.
Taking forever to be seated. The table was ready but we were not allowed to sit and there was an 80yr old elder in our group.
Delicious Pad Thai at a really good price! Lovely environment as well even though I just got take out.
Very homely great service and quality food for a bargain of a price
The service was outstanding, and the portions were generous.
Great variety as well as good recommendations by the staff. I 100% recommend using their special board and tried the teriyaki chicken with their yakisoba noodle combo and found it super tasty and more food than I could finish for about 12 bucks. They even offer some great duck dishes I want to try.
Excellent Service and beyond Amazing Thai food!!!!!!
The Green Curry is a masterpiece. The Red Curry is good. I wouldn't recommend the Yellow Curry though.
The sauces and food here are remarkable. Service fast and friendly. Try the jalapeno pot stickers. They got me through chemo. We drive 40 minutes to eat here.
Delicious, fresh vegetables, tasty sauces and plenty of choices. I have been here several times and have enjoyed each meal.
I went here to celebrate my birthday a little early a couple days back. Wonderful service and the waitress was super kind to us the entire time. The food was delicious and I was definitely more than happy to take the leftovers home with me for another day! Dine in and takeout options available, plus their bathrooms are suuuper clean.
The server here has a great attitude and is very helpful. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is fantastic! I love the sticky rice with dipping sauce! Over all am very satisfied with this establishment.
Great food and wonderful customer service
Good is delicious!!!!?
I went there with my parents and I ordered the king's noodle and it is SO delicious! The service was amazing and they were so kind! BEST THAI RESTAURANT EVER!!!
Great food - I seem to be stuck on the House Special Curry, but it is SO good! Customer service is also excellent & I can't wait to go back.
Good food, super nice waitress! Thank you
Take out was very good, and staff was friendly. Dungeness crab Pad Thai was very good but the lettuce cups were the real stand out. Yum. It was also so nice to see a kids meal option at a Thai place! Both kids loved their food (fried rice and pad see ew). We'll be back.
Phenomenal! Enjoyed a little of everything with our family of four to go. Deep rich flavors in all of the dishes and sauces.
Great food and service 👍
Bad service, slow, food isn't great.
Food was really good and friendly people
My favorite place to get Thai food in yamhill co! Currently, Covid and Brown have forced them to close their dining room until after the holidays but their food is superb. I love their yellow curry and salmon basil pad Thai . The staff are always friendly and the establishment is always clean. Best little place to go and try Thai food if your adventurous enough. Vegetarian friendly.
Friendly staff even though they seemed really busy. It's only take out and curb side right now, but I have had some cool scenery & picnics in my car since covid. Just be sure they give you utensils and condiments. Eating with your fingers in a car only works good with certain foods.
Tasty Thai food with quality ingredients lovingly prepared. Everything is very good, but the pot stickers are excellent. The build-your-own stir fry is a great idea.
Take out only, for now. Caution... they close at 7:30p so order early.
My wife's favorite! Always great service!
Very nice and clean place. Friendly staff.
The green curry dish was fantastic. It's pretty spicy though so it's not for the faint of heart. Yellow curry is milder.
Good portion size, quick service, reasonable price.
Great fresh food and service. Loved that they had a kid corner to keep our crazy 3 year old busy.
Food and service consistently excellent. I have many favorites but highly recommend the golden cashew and the house special curry.
Very flavorful, tasty, fresh food. Friendly staff, great variety, fast.
Food is amazing. Super clean place and service was awesome!
Food is good and staff is nice. The eggplant lover and pad thai are really good!
Great little place. Great food and super service.
