Family-run outfit offering regional specialties from Northern Thailand in a lively, warm atmosphere.
Yeah, to be honest, the Thai food is good. The crab fried rice is really good, and the portion is large. However, if it takes an hour to wait, it's not worth it. If you try to call and ask how long the wait is, they will tell you they can’t give an accurate estimate because the line keeps getting longer. Parking is not easy to find downtown, but if you can’t find street parking, I recommend parking in a garage about a 5-minute walk away.
Came here on 12/13 to buy a Christmas gift card for a coworker (one of her favorite restaurants), but they told me they ran out of gift cards and wouldn't have any until the new year. Disappointing.
Came back on 2/16 for dinner. One word: redeemed! We ordered 4 dishes and everything was delicious. I think regardless of what we ordered, it would have been great. Thank you for a great, unique dining experience.
Every time I have visited Bend, I have been recommended Wild Rose but the wait was too long for our bigger group. But finally got to try this year. This place was smackin. So much flavor packed into each dish. Perfect place to go family style to try as many things as you can.
Highly recommend the Khao Soi Curry and any fried rice dish. Wings were on the smaller side but they still tasted great.
Went to Bend on a work trip and this was recommended by the local workers. We didn’t get reservations and was told 35 mins wait so we around the park nearby and came back after 20 mins and our table was ready. The food was good. My tom yum was full of flavor with big abalone and shrimps that I love and it stayed hot because of the serving dish they use. The fried rice with sausage was also yummy!
The menu was kind of small, there aren't many gluten free/vegetarian options. We had a dish that was a plate to share and the bowls they served it with were very small. We didn't get much tofu with the dish and it seemed like it was mostly basil leaves. The lemongrass was woody and we didn't find the dish worth taking in a Togo box. I also had the Thai tonic, the flavors worked well together and it was strong. The inside of the restaurant was a small and the dried roses hanging from the ceiling were pretty. The music and decor gave it an authentic feel.
Wonderful Thai food, fun atmosphere, great service, and overall amazing experience. Went at about 5:30 on a Tuesday, and the place was already busy, which based on the food/drinks, it was completely understandable. We got apps and both a rice and noodle dish, along with drinks, and would recommend anything across the board.
Words cannot do this food justice. It is simply the best hearty Thai food I've enjoyed and would highly recommend to an experienced Thailand traveler or a newbie. Many of the Most Popular dishes on Google are incredible but I'd also recommend the clams on the small plate menu and the Pork Naam on the large plate menu. But really - you can't go wrong! It's insanely popular so reserve ahead for a table or several hours ahead for to-go. You won't be sorry and share with loved ones!
Friendly wait staff. We went on a Sunday. It was quite busy, but they were able to accommodate us fairly quickly. The food was wonderful! I really enjoyed the muscle hot pot. We will definitely be back!
Great food, but not a place for introverts or people that like personal space.
Terrible portion and quality. Ordered the garlic chicken, and it was mostly rice with just a few slices of chicken—no vegetables, unlike a typical Thai stir-fry. The flavor was mediocre at best, and it cost a shocking $22, while it should normally cost $15-18. I’ve had garlic chicken in California, Washington, New York, and beyond, and this is by far the most overpriced and unjustifiable version I’ve ever encountered. Honestly, I have no idea why this restaurant has any customers given the subpar Thai food and insane prices.
Fun, lively lunch spoy
Nope I don’t recommend.
Amazing!!! Nothing bad to say about this great little place! We completely enjoyed all the shared plates we ordered. Great mixed drink specials also! Enjoy!!!
Sooooo good! Amazing food, excellent service! Pricey, but so is everything here. If you’re good with that you won’t do better!
Knock out. Best Thai Restaurant in America! Quality food, reasonable pricing, great service and quick/ efficient.

Sat at the bar and had a fabulous meal accompanied by friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Tom saap soup, spicy basil curry, and a sausage fried rice dish were exactly what we needed after a hard ski day. Great spot!
Absolutely outstanding. Great taste and large portions.
As other reviews mentioned, the food here is salty! The tom kha is salty and sweet. The brocoli stirfry is salty. The server did not know the answer to our questions and did not offer to find out (by asking a chef or manager). The hibiscus tea is sweet and astringent. Don't get it.
The variety of options are very appealing to first time Thai experiences. Definitely would come back!

Morgan behind the bar was awesome and the Grandfather's Tom Kha hit perfectly on a cold night.

My favorite place in bend. I always make sure I eat here at least once when I visit bend.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Northern Thai is a bit different, and the typical dishes were executed perfectly. We're so happy we tried this place, and will definitely be back
Best Thai in Redmond/Bend. 5 star spice was just perfect for those of us that like it spicy. Will be back. We actually want to start at the start of the menu and try every dish.
We had a great meal here! We made a reservation, and whilst the restaurant was crowded, our food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious, with no exceptions. The space was a bit loud, and the staff clearly had their hands full, but not to the detriment of our experience.
Busy place, told to make a reservation most of the time. We were able to get a table mid day Sunday with a 20 min wait. Both food & service were excellent!
We bought four dishes to share between three people for lunch and chose the mussels, Larb Mueng, Khoi Soi Curry and Pad Ped Ma-Kur. All four dishes were very good (unfortunately I did not take pictures because we were hungry). I like my "spicy" food to be fairly spicy, but was glad we ordered our dishes with a medium heat - I would imagine "hot" would be quite spicy.
The service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is a relaxed eclectic style, which made for a very pleasant and enjoyable meal.
Had what i think may be the best Thai food I’ve experienced.
We found a new family tradition. We come to Sunriver a half dozen weeks a year and we are always trying new places to eat. Our kids just asked us if we can make Wild Rose a regular stop. The food is excellent. We tried five different dishes and loved them all.
The Butterflies are a tasty little crab wonton treat that our 11 year wanted to order more of.
The Tom Kha soup is creamier than other recipes we’ve had. Tom Kha is a family favorite and we all liked this version. We polished it off. It was enough for five people to have about a half to whole cup.
The Khana Fai Dang is a plate of stir fried broccoli that was a hit with the kids. Polished that one off too. This is a nice, savory, garlicky stir fry.
The Sweet Sausage Fried Rice was also delicious. The kids liked it and mixed it some with the Khao Soi Curry.
Honestly, we would order all of it again, but because it was all so good now we’re super curious to try the rest of the menu!
Khao Soi here is on point! I’ve been trying to replicate this dish since my visit to Chang Mai and this is the closest. I ordered with extra veggies which isn’t authentic. It came with the veggies but without the noodles that make it Khao Soi. The bartender insisted on making it again even though I protested just asking for a side of noodles given it was so delicious without them. I relented and didn’t regret it. This is service when an establishment takes such pride that it must be perfect. I’ll be back and you should make a reservation (a must) and go!
This was truly the best Thai food I’ve had in my life. I love Thai have had it all over the states. The fact that I tried to get in for two the day before and they turned us away including the bar means this is something. When I returned the service was good and the food was so fast. Everything we had was 10/10, curry noodles, crab wontons, sausage with the peanuts. Good cocktails too. 100% worth every penny.
Best Thai I have ever had. Might be the best restaurant in Bend. If we are in Bend we always have to make a stop at Wild Rose. I have tried several different entrees. All good. My favorite is the street noodles with chicken.

We got apps and both a rice and noodle dish, along with drinks, and would recommend anything across the board.
The wait was super long (2 hours), while there were several empty tables. Flavor was very average and was on the pricy side. I don’t understand what the hype is about?? It’s probably one of the most mediocre Thai food I’ve had in the States
Words cannot do this food justice. It is simply the best hearty Thai food I've enjoyed and would highly recommend to an experienced Thailand traveler or a newbie. Excellent. Really cute decor, very good flavors, generous portions, super friendly staff. Love it
Amazing!!!!! By the time I finished my plate, I was like “wow!!!! This place is so good!!!! I’m gonna leave them a review!!”
One of Bend's best eating establishments, has been for awhile.
This time i was a little dissapointed with my dish...Prawn Avocado. Where were the prawns?? Really??
Some of the worst food I’ve had in Bend and definitely the worst service. They absolutely refuse to accommodate dietary needs. The servings are small and overpriced,
too.
Some of my favorite food, but the portion size of the takeout food can be inconsistent. I have been shorted on several occasions. It’s sad that they would skim for profit.
Do Better!
We walked in before 8 and got on the list for a table at 8:30 - walked over to the arcade across the street for a fun way to pass the time and the table was ready right on time!
Absolutely delicious. We split the wontons and basil yellow curry noodles. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had!
Amazing food! Got the green curry and street noodles and grandfather soup!!! All are very savory and delicious!
an establishment for sure, wild rose is some of the best thai we've ever had, and that includes meals we've had in thailand. a must-try for any visitors to bend, but be sure to make a reservation in advanced. the restaurant does fill up, and wait staff is on top of keeping food coming quickly. you can expect to be in and out quickly, but the flavors are rich. worth it.
I’ve heard rave reviews about Wild Rose for over a year through my sister, and I’m so glad I finally got the chance to visit. As a fan of Sen Thai and their creative Thai-inspired cocktails, I was excited to experience their sister restaurant. Nestled in downtown Bend, Wild Rose exudes charm with its dried rose decor and a relaxed, unfussy dining room that transported me to the authentic Thai spots I’ve enjoyed in Alaska.
The menu is a compilation of enticing dishes featuring aromatics, pickled vegetables, and vibrant fresh herbs - we’re talking cilantro, basil, bean sprouts, cabbage. I loved their wide selection of unique cocktails. We decided to share the Khao Soi Curry and Crab Rangoons, and let me tell you—the experience was unforgettable.
Not even two minutes after ordering, our food arrived hot and fresh… it literally felt like magic. The curry was rich, creamy, perfectly spiced, deliciously coconut-y. The crab rangoons were crispy and flavorful—absolute perfection.
I’m already dreaming about coming back to try everything else on the menu. Wild Rose has definitely earned a spot at the top of my favorite dining experiences!
Very cute place. Love the history and explanation that this is not your normal American Thai food place! Very interesting flavors and meals.
Love this spot. Best Thai in Bend for sure.
One of my favorite Thai restaurants.
Best Thai food! Can't wait to come back.
Eaten here many times and it’s usually great. Yesterday I stopped in around 3pm. Got gang hung lae curry and an order of kow pad boo to go for lunch today. One of the pieces of meat in the curry was still cold. I wasn’t too concerned about that and had to get going… when I got home the crab fried rice had dripped so much cooking oil out of the box it had soaked through the paper bag and into the seat of my truck. It even dripped everywhere in the house after I brought it in. I ended up throwing it out because of how oil drenched it was. Not sure what happened but very disappointing.
Favorite restaurant in Bend. The service is always good and the Thai food brings me back to Bangkok every time.
Won’t do a takeout order in person. Then a 30 minute wait to get takeout.
Awesome thai food and amazing service even when super busy.
Worst thai food we have ever ate. Greasy and covered in oil and no flavor. Yuck!!!
Great food! Highly recommend when visiting Bend, OR!
We went here off a multiple recommendations for my husbands birthday. You have to make a reservation, which we were about 10 minutes early for our 8:15pm one. Not a problem. However, when we sit down we weren’t greeted by our waiter for almost 15 minutes. I had to literally walk up to host and ask what was going on. Then, our waiter was pushy for us to order all of our food because they were doing last call. The food comes out quick but it seemed very rushed and like they just wanted us out of there. Why would you allow reservations that late if the kitchen closes. We received our food VERY fast. BUT overall, the food was good with a nice spice level for the 4-5. They don’t do anything’s for birthdays, which again is totally fine but there is a way to speak to a table that you were not only late to and didn’t apologize to than to say “we don’t do that”
Worst thai food we have ever had. Service was so horrible, girl with brown hair treated us like she was doing us a favor. Food was so greasy I didn't even eat or take it to go. Waste of my money
Good Thai food if you want to try it let's go
The menu was kind of small, there aren't many gluten free/vegetarian options. We had a dish that was a plate to share and the bowls they served it with were very small. We didn't get much tofu with the dish and it seemed like it was mostly basil leaves. The lemongrass was woody and we didn't find the dish worth taking in a Togo box. We asked for no msg in our food. The assures us what we could order that wouldnt have msg. So we ordered and sure enough we both had it in our food. My wife especially gets ver specific and intense migrains from the stuff so it ruined our date night.
This place is terrible and has the worst service ever. If you like fast food thai food eat here. It's like they used no spices and everything looked sloppy and like it was thrown on the plate with no love or care. Used to eat here a ton but never again. I even asked for something else because my pad thai was so covered in oil that I couldn't eat it as I'm watching my weight. Was told they don't offer any refunds. Wow
Save your money and go somewhere else. The food was almost inedible and so covered in oil that it was disgusting. Server not nice at all. Drinks were good
This place was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Food was literally so covered in grease I couldn't even recognize the dishes and I'm a Thai food snob. I can't have too much grease as I have had my gall bladder removed so requested my waitress to offer something else or take back and refund. Which she said "yah no we won't do that their is no refunds here so you eat it or dont" then we asked to speak the manager and she came back and said yah their busy so they don't have time to chat with you. We had to pay full price for dishes we didn't even eat. This is the first bad review I have ever wrote but honestly I can't belive I was treated so poorly over a health condition.
Fairly busy during lunch mid-week but food came amazingly fast, was delicious and spice level was as ordered which can be hit and miss with some Thai restaurants, Wild Rose was spot on.. Service was a-o-k and overall first experience was good. Will be back again.
Food is good as always, that one waitress was extremely friendly and cool with us!
So freakin good!!
I'm not going to ding them but my lunch entree khao soi curry was barely warm but came out so fast. So maybe specify....I want it temperature hot!
Large portions of tasty food.
I visited this Thai restaurant and found the food to be quite average. I tried the Liquidity Curry, which had some unusual ingredients that didn't quite work for me. Overall, it didn't stand out, and I don't think I'll be returning.
I starve myself in preparation of coming here so I can enjoy the food even more. I have been every time I’m in Bend, and it has never been anything less than exceptional. Amazing servers, great vibes, and some of the best food I’ve ever had. I have fever dreams of Khao Soi Curry
Very tasty food, very good food.
We came to know about this restaurant from public forums and were also craving thai food. We reserved our table online. Upon arrival, there was a long queue for the people with reservations! It seemed like they over subscribed for the tables. But we were able to get our seat after waiting for 15 mins. The dishes are served family style so account for that while ordering. We got the som tum salad and crab fried rice. The salad was fresh, tangy and crunchy. The crab fried rice was good although it was underwhelming given the ratings here. It had the oily aftertaste after every bite. The crab meat was fresh though. We were also offered a thai tea last minute called tiger woods - it was delicious. The service was prompt and helpful.
Som Tum Tod (papaya salad) was phenomenal. Perfectly balanced flavors and textures.
Vegan Pad Woon Sen was really good too! Full of well cooked veges and flavorful.
Curry basil noodle was average. We asked for more veges but it was mostly noodles and tofu. Still good taste.
Sautéd brocollini was average.
Gang Om was disappointing. Not much flavorful broth filled with lightly cooked veges.
Basil smash drink was average. Not a big fan of grapefruit but still wanted to try but, as expected, was a bit bitter for my liking.
Our server Logan was amazing. Juggled our group of 14 really well and spot on with clear communication, while being friendly.
Great Thai food, so comforting after a long day of outdoor activity around Bend. We have a tradition @hikebytes our youtube channel to end our hikes with Thai food, and we kept the tradition even in Bend Oregon. So glad we found this spot, loved our meals, we got it to go once and dined in another time, both experiences were great. It's small and quaint with personal service. We highly recommend this hot spot in Bend.
The best REAL Thai food in Bend. If you like heat, go for the Sukiyaki, it's fantastic!
Owners and employees are extremely rude.
I ordered a papaya salad last night and it supposed to come with a 1/4 head of ice-burg lettuce. I arrived home to open the box and I received a piece of lettuce. I called and complained, and the employee said “don’t order from here anymore” and hung up the phone on me. Spice level is never consistent so even if you order a 1 be prepared that it may be a 5.
Food is subpar every single time and is never consistent. Will not order or recommend this place to anyone anymore.
Don’t go here, save your money and go to another establishment in town!
My favorite Thai restaurant in Oregon! The food is amazing and authentic. The soups were a great way to start the meal. The street noodles and “sukiyaki” noodles were both delicious. Green curry was on point.
Service is a bit meh… staff sometimes forget things likely due to how busy they are. Be sure to make a reservation in advance for dinner as they get crazy busy.
Snobby, rude staff. Dirty dishware, undercooked chicken and scallops. Server got defensive when friend pointed out dirty glass, did not offer to replace or comp. Otherwise food was ok, but not worth being treated like garbage, so will not be returning nor recommending.
I came here from Portland with friends on a weekend trip. We had reservation for Wild Rose which was super exciting because of the raving reviews, and we all love thai food. The atmosphere was super cute and dimly lit, and the service was fantastic. The servers were very attentive with us and the other tables nearby. I ordered a thai tea and that was delicious—a bit too sweet for my liking but the flavor of the tea outweighed that. My friend ordered a cocktail that the waiter recommended, but it ended up tasting too much of alcohol..As for the food, we each got our own curry noodles (level 2 spice) and another plate of fried rice. I didn’t try the fried rice, but the curry noodles we got all tasted different. Mine lacked a lot of flavor and a bunch of the noodles were stuck together,. My other friends plates had more flavor on theirs but we all agreed that it was just mediocre..It didn’t taste like a curry paste or anything creamy like that, it just tasted like they put like curry seasoning on it or something, it also seemed very rushed because the chopped onions on my plate were raw. Also level 2 spice had absolutely no spice in it whatsoever. However, the portions were big. I’m not sure if this place is worth the hype, especially for $22 you’d expect it to be mind blowing.
Friendly staff, great food worth the price, and a unique and lively experience.
Definitely would recommend the Gai Oso and looking forward to coming back.
This might have been some of best Thai food I’ve had. Overall great experience.
Wanted something light, ordered the Street Noodles and Butterflies. Butterflies were like the old crab Rangoon we used to get at Trader Vic’s, crunchy & creamy, served with a sweet chili dipping sauce. The Street Noodles we ordered with fried tofu and it was expertly done! Wide rice noodles tossed with egg (like fried rice), with the tofu and spices, to our desired level of spicy heat, served on a bed of shredded lettuce. Everything was family style. Everything was delicious! Service was fast and welcoming. One of us had a gin and seltzer with a wedge of lime, and it was so unusually good that we asked the name of the gin because it wasn’t the lime that made it so flavorful, and learned it was Gompers gin made right here in Bend. The other of us had a Stigler Radler grapefruit beer which was also delicious, mild, sweet-ish and not bitter or overly hoppy. And the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Excellent!!!
We travelled 3 hours to Bend from Portland almost specifically to try this restaurant from a friend’s recommendation, and we were blown away. We want to come back to try every dish on the menu. The Dungeness Crab fried rice was amazing, and so was the curry basil noodles. Personally the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. I’m from the east coast, but cannot wait to come back here one day!
Yeah their food is good but be prepare to feel rushed out and like you don’t matter from the staff no matter how much money you spend. Not a spot for the locals. Bummed
This is N Thai so you may not see what you usually see on a Thai restaurant menu. It wasn't great. It was small portions and seem to a tourist place. It was expensive. The most expensive Thai I have seen. It seems like you could do better. I am going to take a pass.
Hands down the best Thai food I’ve had in this life, so far! 🙏🙏🙏 Well done Wild Rose Thai Eats.
I will move to bend only for this place! Super good food, everyone was nice. We have never had such tasty Thai food before like this. We will come back only to eat in this restaurant. The best khao soi curry that we every had.
One of the best Thai restaurants outside of Thailand. Being northern Thai cuisine the flavors are different from most typical Thai restaurants in the US, even relatively authentic ones.
The food is excellent from one end of the menu to the other. Good drinks, better than average for the genre wines.
This is a do-not-miss place in Bend.
Food was absolutely fabulous. Service was great and it was a very pleasant experience and dinner. The restaurant has a great vibe about it and it was very busy even on a Tuesday evening. Don’t hesitate to go if you enjoy real Thai food!
Earlier this month, my friends and I hit up Wild Rose Thai, and it was awesome from start to finish. We made a same-day reservation and got seated right away, which was super convenient - especially for a holiday weekend.
The portions were huge, perfect for sharing and trying different dishes. We started with the Yum Khao Tod appetizer—crispy, spicy, and so good.
We also had the Guay Teow Kua Gai noodles, which were perfectly cooked and really tasty. But the star of the show was definitely the Khao Soi Curry with chicken. It was everyone's favorite—so flavorful and delicious.
The staff were really nice and made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for great Thai food and excellent service, I totally recommend Wild Rose Thai.
Will give you diarrhea, guaranteed. Owner steals tips from employees and is generally not a good person. Over priced. Can’t make substitutions, even for allergies. Same for Sen a few blocks away. Same owner, same awful experience and food. I won't go there either. I’ve lived in Bend since WR opened and I will never eat there or recommend it to anyone other than my worst enemy. Buyer beware. If this review stops one single person from eating there, it was worth it. Don't believe me? I encourage you to check out the local Bend Reddit threads about this place before you give them your hard earned money. Common opinion among locals that the owner is garbage.
Really disappointed in the customer service. Starting with the whole booking experience.. the owner was negative helpful as we were trying to make a large group reservation she simply had to reply in the email with some useful information for me to go on my merry way. Instead she was pretty rude and did not make any effort to help. Really bad vibes from the start honestly
And then the customer service at the restaurant also disappointing. No desire to work WITH the customers to resolve an issue! One dish came with the wrong protein and they started to play the BLAME GAME … why?
Lastly, it was way too hectic of an experience and they did not know how to time a meal.. we had 10 people and they brought out EVERY single appetizer and main dish all at one time… no good!!!
On top of all that some of the rice dishes… had soggy rice …
Honorable mention for the crab fried rice though and khao soi, yummy yum
Lastly, they clearly wanted us to GTFO, dropped that check right on our table while we were still finishing our food … yikes
Simply put, Wild Rose is the best Thai eats in Bend. Highly recommend making a reservation.
Delicious food, friendly staff, street parking.
Spice levels go from 1-5. 1-2 is very mild and safe. I recommend starting at 3 and if you want true taste of Thai cuisine push it to 4-5.
Take a look around at the decor. Enjoy!
UPDATE: This place was so good that we came back the next day. Luckily they had walk-in seating.
The best thing on the menu is the KHAO SOI CURRY
We sat at the bar. Bartender was great made suggestions on drinks and food. Food was amazing.
Food is fantastic! Seriously some of the best Thai we have had. Waitstaff needs training and personality.
Very tasty food! Great service, they accommodate our kids who do not like spicy food and make all dishes not spicy. Some vegetarian options. Everything was delicious 😋
this place is a 10/10. very vegetarian friendly and probably the best thai food I have ever had
The taste of the dishes here is heavily influenced by the amount of oil used. After seeing numerous positive reviews, I felt compelled to try this place. While both the vegan and non-vegan dishes tasted good, the flavor seemed to come primarily from the excessive oil. Given that Thai cuisine often includes MSG, I don't understand the need for so much oil. Many other Thai restaurants manage to achieve great taste without overusing oil. For the sake of your health, consider choosing a different Thai restaurant where you can enjoy flavorful food without the extra oil, thanks to MSG.
I wanted to love Wild Rose. We had a reservation and I was excited about the menu. While we know Thai food well, we had a few questions because we wanted to make sure we were ordering the appropriate dish for our 5 year old, and also make sure we were ordering appropriately sharing between 2 adults.
Our seafood dish was wonderful, but things went downhill when we made a simple inquiry about the internal temperature of our chicken dish. It was pink, cool and fleshy. I kindly explained to the waiter that I prefer my chicken more done and I was brushed off about the inconvenience to the kitchen. When the next server came by, I was asked if everything was ok, to which I pointed out that I had questions about the chicken being appropriately cooked. I received an abrupt “yeah, that’s normal” with a blanket answer of how it is prepared/cooked.
From that point forward, I could tell we were an annoyance to staff. They stopped checking in, and we could see their attitude toward our table. The only time they passed by was to offer a condescending remark to my 5 year old that “sticky rice is meant to be eaten with hands” (she has some sensory items that she preferred to eat with a fork so we were finding ways to help her). Meanwhile, they watched the chicken sit there, not eaten and they did not care to offer solutions.
What they also didn’t know was that I previously had a food borne illness, so I am cautious to eat anything that appears far undercooked. We received our full bill $81 without a shred of care from the establishment/staff. This is the 1st time I tipped below 20-25% but in this situation it was very warranted and even 10-15% seemed generous for this situation.
They are closed on Mondays during July 2024. Many people were there trying to eat there and turned away as it was closed. Google is not updated yet. We will try next time when visiting Bend.
Hands down best Thai restaurant in Oregon!! We love coming here every time we visit Bend.
My primary metric for whether or not a restaurant is worth the price is, "Could I have cooked this just as well at home?" In this case the answer was "no." I can't say that very often!
I had the Anchan Limeade and the Gang On. The limeade was great and looked great, too! I ordered the Gang On as a 5 for spiciness and it certainly wasn't extreme to my palette, more like what I would rate a 3.5. But there was spice there. The saltiness of the broth overwhelmed the rest of the flavors somewhat, but I am no expert in Thai food and perhaps that is as it is meant to be.
Overall a wonderful experience! I was seated quickly despite coming in solo on a Saturday night in Bend, my server was warm and helpful, and the price was beyond reasonable given the locale.
Top notch food.
Walked in to a half empty restaurant and was told that they were fully booked for the night. I was literally 1 person and they had no solution or interest in serving me. Can't argue about the good food but a very entitled atmosphere ruined it for me. I won't be back.
The 5 spice pork was all fat and not much flavor.
The moo gratiem was great
I worked in a Thai Restaurant in LA for years and have eaten a LOT of Thai food all over the world. This was possibly the best Thai I’ve ever had, not exaggerating. My partner and I just tried an amazing tasting kitchen in Portland, which was great, but this was better. Casual but nice atmosphere and very special dishes. We wish we lived closer to this place.
Absolutely delicious Thai food with a full bar. Don’t miss it!!
Just a completely fantastic experience. The food was spectacular in the atmosphere was just right. Would love to go back?
What a fantastic fancy Thai place! First of all, it gets very busy so I recommend a reservation (we tried coming back one night without one and it was all booked).
Fun atmosphere with dried roses COVERING the ceiling.
We absolutely fell in LOVE with their Grandfather's Tom Kha. Honestly just the soup alone is all we want to drink (so much so we came back a 2nd time to have more for lunch!). The dinner portion is plenty to share for two, their lunch portion I would honestly say is MUCH too small a portion when comparing the price ($14 for dinner and I think $9 for lunch but lunch was at least 1/4 the size).
Their "Pinyo" Fried Rice had a good kick to it, not our favorite due to some of the spices for some reason. But the Thai Sausage is absolutely delicious!
For our lunch on the 2nd visit we also tried the Butterflies (basically crab rangoon), very much heavy on crab vs cheese which I loved (as often you only taste cheese) and very crispy with a great sweet sauce.
My wife, daughter, and I ate here on 6/2/24. Made reservations and were seated immediately at assigned time. Great food, large portions (all had leftovers for lunch next day), outstanding service! Meal was the best we had on our week-long trip to Oregon!
An absolute treasure
Really great Northern Thai food and friendly & efficient servers!
Great time AS ALWAYS DELICIOUS!
The good: Good flavor and big portion of food. The food also came out really fast.
The bad: all food was quite greasy and the soup was too creamy. The waiter is also not very attentive - I understand that the restaurant is busy, but would be nice to acknowledge that we are waiting at the table instead of just walking away from next table without looking.
Melt in your mouth noodles which we have never experienced before!! The top food highlight of our vacation for sure! Glad we made a reservation. We tried the vegetarian dish. Would wish to also try the dish with eggplant in it. Not the most authentic waiter and the Thai iced tea didn't sound special when we asked about it though.
Truly phenomenal eats. They are a busy spot so reservations are recommended. I doubt you really could go wrong with anything on the menu, our group tried a bunch of items and everything was fantastic.
Recommend by a friend. Very tasty, fresh and well priced. Friendly staff who were keen to suggest when asked. So nice to have no fries and bread
Delicious! Best food in town. Food was fast too.
Amazing food and atmosphere! We liked everything we ordered!
Wild Rose is incredible and we loved everything! The flavors are delicious, the dried roses on the ceiling are neat, and the tablecloths are groovy. The people who work there are really great too. Reserving a table in advance is a good idea. Highly recommend.
Everything we had was delicious, and everyone inside was so kind. Some daikon radish broth came with one of our meals, and I wasn’t expecting to like it (I’m not a huge daikon fan usually), but it was SO. GOOD.
Delicious, authentic Thai food! Amazing food
A very nice little restaurant in the heart of Downtown Bend. They have a wide variety of menu options which most of them can be ordered with tofu as your protein. We had the grandfather's tom kha and the curry basil noodles. Both were exceptional and the portions were such that we both shared them, and we took home some leftovers. This is definitely worth a look if you like Thai food.
Simply the best!
simply amazing
Excellent. I can't really fault it. A member of our family was a chef in Thailand and makes the most incredible food that ruined all other Thai food for me. This is the first time I've thought that it was just as good outside of her cooking and Thailand. I encourage all to try some dishes you wouldn't normally picked - I was so happy I did this. So delicious. Staff was wonderful and atmosphere lovely. Going again for the second night in a row.
My partner and I shared the Tom Kha soup and the Curry Basil Noodles for lunch. Both were super flavorful and delicious. We chose a spice level 3 (out of 5) but are ready to go back and order them again at spice level 4. It was a packed afternoon with a lively atmosphere and great service. Really happy we stopped here! Worth repeating 😁
🥘: 10/10. Food is really flavorful! And they all came in big portion. I ordered a Pad Thai and the curry is really good!
🧑🏻🍳9/10. The staff is really friendly, a small business with a very nice bartender!
📍8/10. Generally, it is really nice and clean. Cute decorations that made me feel like I am in Thailand. Also, we sat at the bar and it was kind of crowded and tight, but it was a good experience!!
THE BEST THAI FOOD! Been to Thailand multiple times and eaten at many restaurants all over the country. This is my new #1. So thankful our done just moved here ‘cuz now I can come back. My only (minor) thing was the noise because the place is so crowded on a Monday night at 5:30pm!
Our second visit and we were not disappointed!!
We didn’t have reservations so elected to sit at the bar. The bartender was super polite and helpful.
He made us two delicious drinks and helped suggest our entrees.
Overall a great experience
Amazing food, I don't really recommend the croquettes but everything else was delicious. Huge portion sizes so you might not want to order as much as we did. Hot Thai basil pork was our favorite.
