Our food cart features uniquely delicious dishes previously offered only as limited seasonal specials at our sit-down locations. Many of these rarely served dishes require much more prep time before we open, and contain harder-to-source ingredients, which is partly why we don’t feature them as standard menu items in our restaurants. We feel these rare, traditional Thai dishes, plus the chance to try so many of our most popular menu items and appetizers at take-away pricing, makes this a unique new addition to the local food cart scene.
The cart also features a selection of our signature traditional Thai dishes, soups, and salads, but at ‘cart-level’ pricing. Also (unlike regular restaurant entrees), every signature dish item will include a
It's a popular food cart in the area and a lot better than some of the other local Thai carts that I've ever tried, though I was not overly impressed by the glass noodles special. It's awesome how much food they offer in one serving plus choice of appetizers though. Service is friendly and quick. Good pricing as well.
I don't know if it's my taste buds or not, but it was alright. I've had pad Thai elsewhere before and felt the same. This time I tried the drunken noodles with chicken and chicken potstickers. The spice is definitely there. It wasn't too spicy for me, but for someone who isn't used to it, it may be a bit much.
5/5 for the Thai ice tea I was given for downloading their app.
Today was my first time to food cart. I ordered food here and the food was delicious. But the best of my experience was the fun and friendliness of a young lady named Audrey. Audrey was super friendly and took her time help me understand different dishes of Thai food. My overall experience was amazing and definitely Audrey made my day much better
Got the pad thai with hopes it’ll taste good because visually it looked appealing and great. However I’m absolutely offended with how this dish tasted. It was so bland with little to no flavor, it is definitely geared towards more western palettes and it’s not authentic Thai food. Portion wise it’s a good amount of food but would not come here again because of the taste.
I got the katsu chicken with white rice and salad. most of the rice was pretty soggy even though i only waited 5-10 minutes to eat it. The chicken was fantastic though, very crunchy and flavorful. i would eat here again based on that alone even thought I didn’t enjoy the rest of the plate.
This used to be one of my favorite food trucks until my experience today. I came here for lunch with my two year old and ordered the chicken katsu and sweet and sour chicken. My two year old is allergic to egg and I asked for the sweet and sour chicken to not be made with egg. The server informed me they could make it without egg. Unfortunately she had an allergic reaction after eating her meal which means they did not accomodate our request and if that wasnt bad enough, as I was eating my chicken katsu I pulled a LONG HAIR out of the dish. I am appalled and will never return here again. If you have allergies and or prefer your meal without bodily hair, stay clear of this place.
In response to Thai Blooms response below - No my child was just at the allergist and confirmed egg was her only allergy. But thanks for the baseless medical advice. Any response to the hair in our food?
Rarely open during posted business hours, the last three times I've been to the carts they've been closed.
Chicken katsu and rice tasted like fish. Was not able to eat the chicken and had to throw away.

Some of the best food out of all the carts, but coupled with extremely slow service. I waited about 30 minutes just to order, and there were only about 4 people in front of me. The time before this, there were two other orders in front of me and it took them 15 - 20 minutes to take those. The food is delicious and always good quality, but the service is so slow that it's really not worth it unless there's no line.
Portions here are really great but I find the food itself can be hit or miss. Some days are really good and others we don't even want to eat our Pad Thai once we taste it. Staff is always very friendly though!
ive been coming here for years. Expensive...but absolute gold...
Phenomenal. I've eaten at this food cart several times, and I'm always impressed with the quality. The food is absolutely fantastic and we'll crafted, the service is very friendly and fast, and importantly, the menu items are reasonably priced. Great work Thai Bloom folks! I'll be back! UPDATE: I went back. It's still incredible. 2nd update: it's still sooooo yummy!
Service at my last two visits has been stellar! the gentleman staffing the order taking is even trying to remember my name and regular order. its a food cart so its not about atmosphere its about good food with good service in a reasonable time. and I have gotten that both times I've ordered here. As long as that keeps up I will keep coming back as a regular every week!
I'm hoping my review helps lift these folks above 4 stars. Many of the one, two and three stars are from years ago. We typically order from the restaurants thru the Uber Eats app but neither offered meals thru that platform last evening (?). Other than the adjusted portion sizing the food quality is indistinguishable from the normal restaurant other than we couldn't specify heat level. We enjoyed Pad Thai, Tom Kha soup w/ chicken and yellow curry w/ chicken (a little more curry sauce would be nice). We were however able to order sides which was a terrific bonus (chicken satay x 2).
Don't let the less than stellar ratings keep you from ordering or stopping by! Great place with long history of quality food.
Noodles were mush. Sauce was syrup sweet.
Fried spring rolls were just little baskets of grease.
Super slow.
I ended up asking for my money back.
I love Thai Bloom. Specifically, the restaurant. Food truck is in a great location. However, it is misleadingly slow. Two people in front of me. 25 minute wait. Would have expected at least a warning if they were that backed up. Food was good but not even close to the restaurant good.
These guys never fail! Always my go to at the food carts but for takeout in general. Love them.

The rice was dry and so was the crispy pork. I was more surprised with the salad since it was fresh.
Think the restaurant, just around the corner, is a bit better.

I have eaten at the Thai Bloom restaurant many times which is right near my office. I decided to try the food cart because it looked less busy at lunch time. I ordered the drunken noodles. They were mushy and had no flavor. The side salad was good, but I wasn't able to eat my noodles. Im disappointed, and hungry.
I love the Cedar Hills and NW 23 rd locations. We love the drunken noodles at Thai Bloom. We tried them at the food cart on Wednesday. Noodles were a bit stickier than usual. We didn’t eat much of our two orders. Portions were huge! Service was with a friendly smile.
I go to Thai Bloom probably 20 or so times a year and everyone I take there is always so impressed with the consistent food quality and service. Even the most discerning diners rave about the food and service. It’s summer and why not dine on the best Thai food around al fresco. All locations have outside seating areas.
Two things about this place The food is overpriced for food cart standards and the flavor is very underdeveloped. I suggest going to E-San food cart.
Pad se ew was good, I really liked the veggie spring roll as well. 3 stars because you have to grab your cutlery from a public box, kindof gross COVID or not
I had planned on leaving a negative review based on the fact we were told that our Chicken Pad Thai would be up in 10 to 15 minutes and it actually took 37 minutes and by the time we returned to the table my wife and daughter had finished. But the actual reason I am now leaving the review is that it was the greasiest Pad Thai I've ever had in my life. It's been 45 minutes since I finished what I could stand to eat and I still have a film of grease on the roof of my mouth and tongue. I don't know if this was because our ticket got somehow put at the end of the orders and once they realized it they rushed and it just wasn't prepared right, but it was truly one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. I've eaten at the restaurant many times and have always enjoyed it. I never like to leave a bad review but unfortunately my experience forced me to do so. There are many options in the food pod (even another Thai cart) so I don't see myself ever trying this place again.
The eggplant stir fry was delicious. A bit more greasy than I like but still very good.
Such great food!
The sticky rice and spicy sundried pork are excellent. I like it very much. Also, the signature boat noodle soup with slow cooked Beef reminds me of being in Bangkok. The Pad Thai with crab is worth the money, it's made with real crabs. My grandmother had the seafood Avocado salad but when I turned back and saw her eat it, it was all gone! The coconut ice cream with fried banana is to die for. I would highly recommend this place to people that are looking for good Thai food!!!!!😃
Flavorful food, Friendly people and great prices. I had the yellow Curry for $9. The price also includes a side of your choice! It was every bit as good as the food carts downtown Portland but way less people or wait time. Will definitely be coming back regularly.
delicious! love this cart and this pod. its so nice and so cool. yummm
Friendly staff, quick service and amazing pad thai!
This is one of the most amazing food carts in ever eatin at the food was amazing and the service was top notch I recommend to any one looking for a cheep amazing meal try the drunken noodle it's so good
Pretty good. I think their pad thai is a little bland. I like that you get a choice of side with your meal. The green curry is very good, but one time they put it in the clamshell container so hot that it put a hole in the plastic and started leaking. I wish they used cardboard/paper to-go containers.
The Drunken Noodle is ridiculously addicting.
