Thai Food Cart of Albany
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Extra hot is actually hot and flavor is always amazing. The meals are a great value and the owner's cheerfulness is always a bright spot in my day. Big Sisters Thai is easily the best food cart at the barn (sorry Majahua, you'll always hold a special place in my heart).
I’ve been coming around for awhile now, mainly ordering Pad See Ew, but recently switched it up with Peanut Noodles- all very tasty and I highly recommend!
Also really enjoy the Thai tea.
Very kind and willing to accommodate for vegetarian/vegan lifestyles.
I travel to North Albany, or just Albany in general, each week and stumbled upon this place by chance. Each week I make it my place for Thai food, because it is unreal compared to a lot of its counterparts. To think coming from a food cart there would be cut corners, but nay, this cart offers no such compromises. Matter of fact this place provides mad flavor, legit ingredients, and a comforting belly full of deliciousness from Thailand. The curry’s are all good, and the Pad Thai is as well. Accommodating location, and gracious owners. What more could you ask for in the area? I will be visiting nearly each week as it has steadily become my favorite.
I got the Yellow Curry with chicken and it was a solid 10/10. Also got the sweet sticky rice with mango, my husband and I loved it. She was very friendly and I would recommend this place!
The owner was very sweet and personable- the chicken Pad Thai was great, as well as the Thai Iced Tea, perfect amount of sweetness 😋 definitely recommend!
Really nice people, wish I could say something more positive, but a dish that I have enjoyed numerous times in the past, is nearly inedible these days. The orange chicken has a nice flavored sauce but I have issues with the extremely small bits of chicken being used. These small bits of chicken are breaded and fried so hard it's like eating a shoelace that's been coated and fried. I used to love this dish and would order it every time I went to the Barn. Please, even if you have to raise the price, use bigger pieces of chicken or don't fry it so hard. Thanks
Ordered 2 things, got Thai iced tea and mango sticky rice. Thai iced tea was great and 5 star by far. Always love a good flavorful Thai tea. Mango sticky rice was awful. The mangos were super tough and not very flavorful at all. And these was an insane amount of the sweet milk but there was almost no rice. We got it to go and ate it at hone and just out of curiosity we measured how much rice we got. Little under 2 tablespoons of rice and at least 1/3 cup of milk that we could pour out so that was not including what the rice had absorbed. The 2 main parts of mango sticky rice is mango and rice and the mango was horrible and the rice almost just wasn't there. The rice was also really tough. I like it dense and to have some chewy firmness but this was like tiny erasers. Sweet milk was good, just way too much. Will be back for Thai iced tea but this was maybe the worst mango sticky rice I've ever had and it is my favorite dessert so I have had a lot of it.

Food was really good when I started eating here months ago, but on multiple recent visits the food has been pretty underwhelming.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Thai iced tea.
The woman at the counter is so sweet and helpful. Thank you!!
i absolutely love this place!! the thai tea is amazing, my fiancé usually hates thai tea and claims he relates the taste to wet wood. The first time I bought my thai tea, he drank almost all of it! I love the mango sticky rice too, it’s nice and hot and the mango is amazing and sweet! They definitely deserve more love!! Sometimes we only come to the barn just for their amazing food!
I had the thai fried rice with chicken, but gf and it was the BEST Thai fried rice I've had in awhile!! Great customer service and great food
Food decent, but getting your food will take forever regardless of what you order. On multiple different occasions we have waited almost an hour for our food (regardless of how simple the item or how busy the barn is). If you want to enjoy a meal with others DON'T order here or you'll sit and wait for your meal while everyone else enjoys food from a different cart.

I started going to Big Sister Thai because my roommate always talked about how great it was. And he was right! It’s one of my favorite places to eat now.
I love going here for lunch and dinner! Everyone is so nice and the service is great!

Excellent.
Food was delicious and ready in minutes. To top it off, the staff couldn't have been nicer! Can't wait to go back again.
Delicious food, incredibly sweet service, and very flexible about gluten-free options
I was raised in and around Southeast Asia with a considerable exposure to authentic Thai food. I can honestly say that this is pretty authentic.
The website says it ipen I drove there ots closed.
Very nice people & food! My toddlers call this "The Fried Green Bean Truck" because that's their favorite menu item. Thai fried rice tastes the most authentic especially compared to the Pad Thai.
Food is good, not mind-blowing for the 20 plus minute wait to make a simple salad. If you have time to waste they're not a bad option but for the number of choices of food at the barn you would think they would hustle more. At this rate I don't see their truck staying in business another year. They need work on prep and time to be a 5 star food truck.

Great prices and food was great
I am not a big fan of shrimp with tails in my salad, but other than that personal preference the Thai Salad had superb flavors.
More proof once again that food in Corvallis is terrible (not a single decent tasting Thai restaurant there) and food in Albany amazing
This food truck has topped any Thai food we've ever had (and we love Thai food).
Just tried this place for the first time and it was WONDERFUL! We got the Pad Kee Mao, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, and Red Curry. We loved ALL of it! It was fresh, packed with flavor, and the perfect spice level (medium). Super friendly staff and quick service. We will be back ( possibly tomorrow).
We live in Portland, and we have tried LOTS of Thai food. This is really good Thai. We got 5 different items, and everyone of them was great! I personally enjoyed the pineapple fried rice and yellow curry the most! Delicious!
The raisins in the fried rice was a little different, but I didn’t hate it, it actually worked.
I ordered the red curry, vegan, with tofu. He left off the fish sauce. It was delish! Perfectly spicy and plenty to satisfy. I will try other dishes in the near future! The service was friendly and super fast. The curry was steaming hot and plenty of rice to go with. Great job!
